Sometimes I think we forget how big God really is. God is not concerned with conditions. The unchangeable fact is that God has all power. That God can bring harmony and healing out of any condition at any time and in any place. He's outside of time. and space, and the carnal mind. Sometimes I think we need someone to keep reminding us of this glorious fact. It makes no difference to God how long a certain difficulty has lasted. It makes no difference how much seeming opposition there is to overcome. God is not concerned with conditions. God does not have to prepare now to bring something about next year, nor is he unable to do something now because he omitted to do something else last year. God can do anything, anywhere, at any time, this very moment, without reference to anything or anyone else. God is... absolutely not concerned with conditions. Our poor little puny minds are always putting difficulties in the way of demonstration. We say, too late. Or we often say, too soon. Or too far. Or too near. Or too much. Or not enough. And so we kill. our demonstration. But all this is just the thinking of the mind and has nothing to do with the power of God. Determine today that you will demonstrate health, true success, happiness by realizing that God is working in and through you to bring these things about. And do not, not for a single second, Allow your poor little mind to tell you that it cannot be done. It can be done. And if you mean business, it will be done. If you get your eyes on God. If you get your eyes on your Heavenly Father. On your great high priest, the very son of the living God who is now reigning in that great position, ever living to make intercession for you and for me, how can you fail? How dare you limit the power and the promises of God? God is not concerned with conditions. Take your eyes off the circumstances. Sometimes, you know, circumstances throw us. Sometimes disappointment will throw us. Sometimes sickness will absolutely throw us. And we just sink to the very depth of despair, frustration. And it's long before we find out that we're defeated. Don't you dare be defeated. God is not. concerned with conditions. It makes no difference to God how long a certain difficulty has lasted. Oh, if only somehow the Holy Spirit can make this real to your heart. This can be one of the greatest truths that has ever been revealed to your heart and to your mind. We're going to continue our discussion about your future, my future. And you will remember that the very last question that I asked of you in our last heart -to -heart talk on this subject was the question of what is it that you'd like to have for your future? You see, this is something that's very personal with me too. As surely you have a future, I have a future. I have to ask myself the question, what do I want for my future? Do you know? If you don't know, you'll never get it. Because in order to attain anything, you have to know what it is that you want to attain. You have to pinpoint it. Then your whole nature will work toward it. The trouble with a great many people is that they only have an obscure, a very fuzzy notion of what they want their future to be. They want to go somewhere, but they do not know where they want to go. Well, you'll never get anywhere if you don't know where you want to go. Can you imagine me going down to the airport here in Pittsburgh and say to my friend, I want to go someplace. And he'll say, where do you want to go? And I'll say to him, I don't know, but I just want to go. I want to get somewhere. We'll say, Catherine Kuhlman, what in the world is wrong with you? Every time you come down here, you've said, I want to go to Los Angeles. Or I have to go to Chicago. Or I want a ticket to New York. I always know. I have always stated exactly. And so I get my ticket. I board that plane. But if I stand there and say, I don't know where I want to go. Well, he can't help you very well, you know. I want to get somewhere, but I don't know where I want to go. I'll tell you right now. The fellow would be so disgusted with me. He would be so disgusted. he would have the right to say, there's something wrong with Miss Kuhlman. She's not quite right today. You know? Now, this may sound silly, very silly, but it really is important. It has often happened that some man or woman, having come with their troubles, And when I begin questioning them as to what they want, they really do not know what they want. They do not know what they want from life. They're not quite sure if they know what they want from God. They are in a negative mental attitude. And so, really, there's no help for them. Do you want your future to be? Let's just lay it on the line. Go and pray about it. Ask the Lord what he thinks it ought to be. Be objective about the thing. Pinpoint it. Make it sharp and clean. And take it to God and then go out and do something about it. Your future can be made what you want to make. Remember again, God is not concerned with conditions. The unchangeable fact remains that God has all power. He's outside of time, outside of space, outside of circumstances. But you must have Christ at the center. of your future and the center of all of your plans and your plans must be in the perfect will of god you must take in consideration the will of god if that which you wish for your future is not for the glory of god and is outside of the will of god then you will not have a successful future. You must take that in consideration. I would not want anything for my future that is outside the will of God, for it would not be best for me. And as a tender Heavenly Father, He only wants His children to have His best. And therefore, in planning my future, in thinking of my future, I want, first of all, God's best for me. And when I have God's best, then I know that his best also includes others. For no man, no woman, living in the perfect will of God, lives selfishly. You just don't. That's the very nature of God, to give. That's the very nature of His Son, to give. It's the very nature of the Holy Spirit, to give and give. God is not selfish. The Son of God is not selfish. The Holy Spirit is not selfish. Therefore, as a part of this great union, neither will you and I be selfish. Therefore, if I'm living in the perfect will of God, if I, am wanting his best for my future, then I know that my future will not be a selfish life. Oh. I pray the Holy Spirit is making this real to your heart because it's so vitally important to all of us. You see, I'm talking to myself too. I'm not just only preaching to you. I'm sitting here talking to Catherine Kuhlman because my future is me. In truth, you are your future. If you want to know what your future is going to be, go home, take a good look at yourself in the mirror, look past your face into your mind, and look directly into your soul. There it is, your future. As clear -cut as though it were diagrammed. If you have weakness, dishonesty, sin, if you're negative, then that will be your future. Unless you fill your mind and heart and soul with Christ so that you become a changed person, you will not have a future that's filled with unselfishness. and joy, and success. It's just that simple. Believe me, it is. By permitting yourself to develop a skyscraper -sized fear, you tear down your future. That is the reason that I have had several heart -to -heart talks on fear. And I told you over and over again, it's the greatest enemy that you can take into your life. There is no greater enemy than the enemy of fear. Because if you've taken fear into your future, then you tear down your future. But when your life is full of Christ, when you receive him, he gives you the power to become. The human being has tremendous potentials. You've never been all of what you can be, nor have I. And that's the one thing that concerns me and concerns me greatly. There is never a day of my life that I do not realize that I am not all that I can be for God. I know that better than anyone else. And it isn't me. It's the bigness of God. When I realize how big God is, when I realize all that the heavenly Father has made possible to me as one of His children, I know that I have not reached that place where I am all that I can be for Him. And neither have you. I believe with every atom of my being that there was even more for the Apostle Paul than what he even dreamed possible. We have imprisoned the God within us. We must let him out. Let him find release. I don't suppose there's anything in the world so glorious as a person set free from his own weakness and his own limitations. I want to be set free from my own weaknesses, my own limitations, my own smallness. I acknowledge and have acknowledged over and over again that in some things I'm very small. I'm small in my thinking and small in my reasoning. I'd give you anything in the world if I could be set free from this smallness. It's because I'm human. And so are you. If only we could be set free from our own limitations. And there's only one who can set us free. Christ can set you free. He can and he will. So if you want a good future, you must seek it through him. And let him give you the power to become. Become what? All that he has made possible for you to become. The future of the individual is in Christ. And the future of mankind is in Christ. What's the trouble with our world? It comes down to one thing. Oh, of course, secretaries of state and foreign ministers and politicians will give you long speeches on what's wrong with the world, but they're just people like the rest of us trying to do their very best, and there's no doubt about that, but they're also caught up in the old political game of power against power. Basically, the trouble is just this, evil against good. And the reason the world is in such a state as it is is because of the power of evil. And evil isn't in the air. Evil is in men's hearts. We're God's children. We're men. Women. We're supposed to be creative. It's time for us to do something about the world problem. We must first realize that good is more powerful than evil. Then we must individually rise to the challenge. And each one of us must say, I'll be God's man. I'll be God's woman. I'll put a healthy spiritual life against the evil of our time. And with enough people doing that, we'll see the dawn of a new day. One of the greatest passages in the Bible is found in the sixth chapter of Isaiah. It begins in the year that King Uzziah died. You remember that Uzziah had been a great king. He was dead. In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw also the Lord sitting upon the throne, high and lifted up, and His train filled the temple. Above it stood the seraphim, and one cried unto another and said, Holy! Holy, holy is the Lord of hosts, and the whole earth is full of his glory. Then said I, Woe is me, for I am undone, because I am a man of unclean lips, and I'll dwell in the midst of a people with unclean lips. But watch, and Isaiah heard the Lord asking, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? And here is the answer. Here am I. Send me.
