Oh, King of Glory, King of Kings, Lord of Lords, Great, I am that I am. We give your praise. We give your praise and Glory give your praise. Once again, you are welcome to the remnant Voice. And the Lord has been dealing with us on the subject. Of the Word of righteousness. If you are just joining us in the series, I like you to go back and do some catch up. We have been establishing the doctrine or the message of. Righteousness righteousness. I like you to turn with me to the Book of Ephesians chapter two, and will begin from verst Number eight. Ephesians, Chapter two, Verst Number eight. For by grace are ye saved true faith, and that not of yourselves. It is the gift of God, not of works, lest any man should boast, For we are His workmanship created it in Christ Jesus unto good walks which God had adaign before, that we should walk in them. So the Bible says that what made our salvation possible was the grace of God. The grace of God is what afforded and offered us salvation. Salvation was offered. By grace, but it was appropriated by faith. So grace is the substance that created the possibility, and faith is the instrument that made what grace was offering our personal possession. The Bible says, even though we were not saved by walks, we were saved. Onto good walks. Who were saved for the purpose of setting good walks, which God ordained before the foundation of the world, that we should walk in them. I was trying to make us understand yesterday that our salvation is according to the purpose of God, not according to our purpose and our ideas. So the purposes of God for which we were saved were already programmed concerning us even before the foundation of the world, that we should walk in them. So, even though we are saved by grace through faith, we are saved so that we can carry out what the Bible calls good walks. Now they reward system, which is a product of accountability, is on the basis of those works that we were saved to perform, those works that were saved to do, which were already established concerning us even before the foundation of the world. I want us to take a moment and consider the difference between biblical salvation and biblical reward. What does the scriptures have to say about salvation, and then what does the scripture has to say about rewards. So concerning salvation, the Bible says, we have seen it from the Book of e Visions, Chapter two, verse eight, that is a product of the grace of God and is appropriated by faith. There are few other scriptures will need to bring to our notice concerning salvation. So I would like you to draw a chart. And then you put salvation on this end and put the reward on the other. End, so that you will see the contrast. Why we compare salvation with the system of the world in the Kingdom of God, then you will see that they operate on different principles. Whereas salvation is a product of grace true fate, you will find out that reward is a product of walking of works that is consistent with that which was ordained that we should work in them. So there are two things I like us to compare and contrast. So under the Salvation, the first scripture I like you. The second scripture I like us to read under Salvation is in the Book of Acts chapter sixteen, Acts chapter sixteen. And like us to read that scripture, Acts, chapter sixteen. Then I read from verse number twenty. Five, and at midnight Paul and Silas prayed and sank phrases unto God, and the prisoners had them. And suddenly there was a great eathquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken. And immediately all the doors were open, and everyone's band were loosed. And the keeper of the prison awaken out of his sleep, and seeing the prison doors open, he drew out his sword and would have killed himself, supposing that the pusiness had been fled. But Paul cried with a loud voice, saying, do thyself know harm, for we are all here. Then he called for a light and sprang in and came trembling and fell down before Paul and Silas, and brought them out and said, Sahs, what must I do to be saved? And they said, believe on the Lord Jesus, and thou shalt be saved. And thy household believe in the Lord Jesus, because the grace that brings salvation was already available. Believe in the. Lord Jesus, you shall be saved. And if your household has the same conviction about Jesus' day, can be saved also. Every time salvation was spoken about in scripture, it was a product of grace. It was never a product of the work of man. Glory to God. In the Book of John, chapter twenty, we see the conclusion of the Book of John. But before we look at the conclusion of the. Book of John, I would need to show us the introduct The Bible says in the beginning, what's the world the Book of John is like. It's like a. Thesis, a research work. That was. A research work that was done into the peason of God. In the beginning was the Word. There was the personality in God that was referred to as the Word, the logic of God, the wisdom of God, the utterance of God. He was in the beginning with God, and all things were made by him. And without him was not anything made. That was made in him was life, and the life. Was the light of men. You would see that the Book. Of John is attempting to research into a certain personality in the god Head known as the Word. And the book reveals that the Word was with God in the beginning, and the Word was God. The book also revealed that all things that we see, and indeed the things that we cannot see, were made by Him and without him was nothing made that was made. So the research that is going on in the Book of John is a research into the person and the personality of this character. Called the Word. If you go to the Book of John now John. Chapter twenty, John chapter twenty towards the concluding charge the personality that was under study. The study was successful and discoveries have been made about this personality in the Book of John. And the summary and the conclusion of the research is in the Book of John chapter twenty, verse thirty one. So we just read from verse thirty so that you can understand the context. And many other things. Truly did Jesus. In the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book. They are not written in the Book of John. But these are written. The things that are present in the Book of John are written that he might believe that Jesus is. The Christ, the Son of God. So the discovery, the research into the person of the world that commenced in the Book of John. At some point in John chapter one, verse fourteen, the Bible says, and that Word was made flesh, and he dwelt among us. And the research continued the life of Jesus, his ministry, his example, his philosophy, every aspect of his life was put on display. And this is the summary. This is the conclusion. That there are so many other things he did that are not documented in this book. It's as though the writer of the Book of John was bringing the book to a conclusion. It's a for your information. The things that are written here as sufficient evidence to reveal that Jesus. Is the Christ, the son of God. The things written here are designed to make you believe that Jesus is the Christ, the son of God, and that believing he might have life. Through his name. So when you come to that conclusion. That Jesus is a Christ, the son of God, and you believe such, the Bible says, you become entitled to the divine life. Every time. Salvation is spoken about, and our salvation in the Bible, our faith in the Bible is faith in a person, even Jesus Christ. Every time salvation is spoken about is always a product of chrace and is appropriated through faith. It is never a product of works. All right, So now we're going to flip the page and we're going to look at the idea of a kingdom reward. And when we talk about the kingdom reward. The first reference we are going to make is in the Book of First Corinthians, chapter three. In First Corinthians, chapter three, beginning from verse six, First Corinthians. So you are going to the other part of the column, to the rewards section. And the first scripture we're looking at is First Corinthians, step three, beginning from the sixth to verse eight. I have planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase. So then neither is he that planted anything, neither he that watered, but God that giveth the increase. Now he that planted and he that watered are one. They're on the same mission. They are not walking across purposes. They are walking to accomplish the same purpose. Even though their roles were different, though their imputs were different, even though the grace required to furnish each of their inputs were different, even though so many things about their labels were different, but consistent with the overall goal that God wanted to achieve, they are actually one, not walking across purposes. Now he that planted and he that water rate are one. And every man shall receive his own reward according to his own label. See when the issue of reward was spoken about. It was not a product of grace. And that's where efficient started two verse ten and comes in how that were his workmanships. We are created in Christ Jesus to do they work. There is a work that He wants us to label in, and that work was preordained. That work was established even before the foundation of the world. Salvation is according to the purpose of God, not according to our ideas. There is a concrete expectation that should result after you have given your life to Christ. And the Bible is saying it is a work. We are saved by grace. It's not a works, but we are saved unto good works that God has before. Ordained that we should work in them. So the Bible says, every man shall receive his own reward according to his own label. Reward is a label. And just in case you think is any kind of labor his authorized label, labor that is consistent with the purpose that God preordained. Don't forget the scripture in the Book of Hebrews. In the Hebrews Chapter twelve twenty eight, the Bible says, singing that we have received a kingdom that cannot be moved the Kingdom of God cannot be moved. The standards of. The Kingdom cannot be uttered for any generation. The standards of the Kingdom of God cannot change for any man. So see now. That we have come to the realization of the fact that the Kingdom of God cannot be moved, then he gives. Us some counsel. He say, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably. Now, if he's saying. Grace, receiving grace from God, enablement from God, empower men from God is the only way we can save him acceptably. In fact, the introduction of the world acceptably in that scripture is suggestive of the fact that there are many labels that are not accepted, one of which is such labels that is coming from human energy. Human human manipulation will be filthy. It will not. Satisfy the expectations of God. Is to let us have grace whether we may save God acceptably in reverence. Acceptable service carries the shade of reverence is the shade of courtly fear. Then it gives us a clue. Because our God is a consuming fire, and the fire dimension I said, I'm going to explain it to us it has to do with one of the tests, the quality control tests that will be our works will be subjected to on the day of accountability, on the day of reckoning. That aspect of our God is a consuming fire. We are going to explain that extensively when we come to the issues of around the judgment City of Christ, which is the platform of accountability. Now, so what I wanted to see here is. That reward is according to label, not according to platform, none according to name, none, according to likes on Facebook and social media. Not according to how loud you are, how noisy you are, and you are. At everybody's face. It is according to that prescribed label that you were saved, apprehended in Jesus Christ in order to accomplish. Labor in that mission. Label, in that ordination that God saved you to bring you into is what will make you eligible for a kingdom reward. Next Scripture Revelation chapter twenty two, beginning from verse number ten. Revelation Chapter twenty two, beginning from verse number ten. And he said, unto me, still not the sayings of the prophecy of this book do not seal it. In the days of done heel several mysteries revealed to him, and he was instructed to seal it off until the time of the end. When these prophetic words were given to John, the instruction was do not seal it. The reason is because the time for the fulfillment of the things is at hand, so this understanding should become common place. This is the time for this prophecy. Do not see it all. Then, the next thing he says. After that, he insisted that the counsel of God and the intelligence of God that is coming true prophecy should not be sealed. The next statement he makes is he that is unjust, let him be unjust still. And he that is filthy, let him be filthy still. And he that is righteous, let him be righteous still. And he that is holy, let him beholdly still. And behold. I come quickly, And my reward is with me to give every man according as his work shall be. Reward is according to work. It is there no problem. You don't need to change your work. If your work is unjust, beyond justity, no problem. If your work is filtiness, be futire, still no problem. If you have described decided to subscribe to the way of righteousness, even in a generation where righteousness is unpopular, and people call you name, so many people hurt you. You say, be righteous till he that is holy. Behold is still such that decide to separate them to God? When working with God is no longer something that is popular. It's a beholy stale. And the reason why he is giving this instruction is because he's coming quickly, and his reward. Is with him. And we give on to every man according as his work shall be. Second Scripture confirming that reward is according to work. We are going to take some time, as we study in the future to look at such. Works that are worthy of rewards. Even though you are on the part of your donation, you're on the part of your destiny. You have understood your purpose. Jesus has revealed to you your path. There is a way you are expected to prosecute the intents of God on that path that you have found, in order for you to be made. Worthy of a reward. It's a beholder. Come quickly, and my reward with me, and I shall give on to every man according as his work shall be. First Correnthians chapter three. Still trying to sound these matters in, to push it in to press it in to rob it. In First Cornians chapter three, beginning from a stent, according to the grace of God which is given on to me as a wise master builder, I have laid the foundation, and another builded they're own. But let every man take heed how he builded their own. For no other foundation can no man lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. Now, if any man built upon this foundation, gold, silver, precious stones, world hay and stubborn that before we go to Vegse thirteen, which thirteen, fourteen and fifteen, which is my emphasis, I'd like you to understand. Apostle Paul says that he laid the foundation, and then he revealed to us what the foundation means is the foundation of Christ. So he has led people to Christ. He has brought these people into the Kingdom of God. He showed them the grace of God that saved and then they exercise their faith and they became saved, and the foundation of Christ was laid in their hearts. So he's now saying, if you become a pastor, your pastoral labors is to build on the foundation of Christ that has already been laid. Then he sends a warning to any such individual that is given the responsibility to past to people that are saved. His warning is concerning. Building materials, and he said, give us a few. Identified a few building. Materials that a minister can likely deploy in discipling. Members of the Body of Christ that are kept on the iscared. In his passorial ministry, he said, you can build with gold, and gold is that would derive from God. I don't have time for that. You can build with silver SIVI are the treasures of redemption. You can build with pressiore stone. Pressure stone is a product of the dealings of the Holy Spirit, the dealings of the Holy Spirit. When a metal is subjected to high temperature and pressure, it produces prescious stones. So as we walk with God, the Holy Spirit will begin to deal with us in the area where we have confidence in the flesh, so that it can get us to be weaned from our confidence in the flesh, so that our confidence will. Be in Him alone. Then he also said, some of the guys built with wood ethly things, things that are not durable. Hey stuggled. Vestirteen now says every man's work shall be made manifest, for they they shall declare it because it shall be revealed by fire. So that's what it means when he says our God is a consuming fire. Let us have grace whereby we may save God acceptably in reverence and in godly fear. For our God is a consumer, our works will be reviewed by fire, and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. So the fire test is a quality test. In these days, the parameters with which we measure success in ministry is either. Crowd or speed or finance achievement. And there are so many human parameters that we use to rate people that are in the labors of God, that unfortunately none of those parameters will be considered before the judgment sat of Christ. The element that is used to test our works will be fired as we come to the judgments of Christ. I'm going to show you what that what fire means. Verse fourteen says if a man's work abide that after the fire tests which. He has built thereon, he shall receive a reward. Now, if you check the building material's least, you will see that gold will not be bunt off with fire, it will buid. Silver will not be burnt off with fire, it will buy pressure, stones will not be bund up with fire. Pressure stones were made by fire, they were made by high temperature and pressure. They will not be bundt up with fire. They will abide. But if it's wood, if it's stumbled, if it's hey, That's why Paul saends a strong warning. Let every man take it. Now. I want to speak to the ministers of the gospel. Are you aware of what ministry is? Are you aware that you will not escape? And our own accountability on the table of justice and judgment and evaluation is on. The high side. Are you aware of what it is that ministry is. The Bible says if any man's work is burned, he shall suffer a loss, but he himself shall be saved. Yet, so that's by fire. I will explain what it means for someone to be saved by fire. We're just starting. We're just beginning, and I want to assure you that it is not a pleasant experience. Now, I've heard a lot of teachers that taught and said that every one of us hasid once. I believe you will get a reward. You are wrong. According to this scripture, any man's that burn he will suffer loss. He will become rewardless, and that's not the worst thing. That's not the worst thing that can happen to a believer. I will show you as we go on in this study that you can come before the judgment Sage of Christ, and the verdict off the evaluator will be that you should be punished. I'm going to show you all those evidences. And there are various types of punishments, and I'm going to show you various dispensational punishments that careless people. Are going to be subjected to. And I assure you you don't want to experience that. The Bible says if any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer laws. I don't want to suffer laws. I want to be commended. And because I want to be commended, I'm going to make sure that I label right. Our time is up. Again and we're going to meet the same time tomorrow as we continue from where we are stopped.
