Why Does God Allow Temptation in the Life of the Believer?

Everyone gets tempted, but temptation is not a sin unless you give in to it. We can overcome temptation, as Jesus did, by resisting from the start, having our guard up, and knowing the Word of God in our hearts. Strength and dependency on the Lord are the result when we overcome.
