They'll always support you. Instead, he went back and told the 0:15:46.200 --> 0:15:50.040 people what the young men said. Verse thirteen says he 0:15:50.160 --> 0:15:54.080 spoke harshly to the people, rejecting the advice of his 0:15:54.160 --> 0:15:59.960 older counselors. When the Israelites heard this, they revolted. They said, fine, 0:16:00.520 --> 0:16:03.800 build your own kingdom. We're not gonna support you. We're 0:16:03.840 --> 0:16:06.640 not gonna pay taxes, we're not going to work for you. 0:16:07.560 --> 0:16:10.480 Rio Boham sent an official that was in charge of 0:16:10.480 --> 0:16:13.640 the labor force to restore order, but the people stoned 0:16:13.720 --> 0:16:17.160 him to death.
