And in order to illustrate this today, 0:07:45.800 --> 0:07:48.680 I'm so excited to preach God's word. I bet most of us would 0:09:07.240 --> 0:09:10.840 have been like, no, thanks, I can manage. I mean, 0:09:10.840 --> 0:09:12.520 it'd be great to see. But if you're going to 0:09:12.600 --> 0:09:15.480 have to, if you're going to have to spit in 0:09:15.600 --> 0:09:20.000 order to accomplish this, would I wouldn't. I wouldn't. Whenever we're familiar and we 0:10:04.440 --> 0:10:06.080 kind of know what to do and we know what's 0:10:06.120 --> 0:10:10.520 going on, faith can't grow. And so when we feel 0:10:10.559 --> 0:10:12.960 fear in our lives, like I think every single one 0:10:13.000 --> 0:10:17.520 of us does right now, it's not something to be rejected. 0:10:18.280 --> 0:10:21.160 It's something to be worked through. Okay. I know people say, well, 0:10:21.160 --> 0:10:22.680 God has not given us a spirit of fear and 0:10:22.840 --> 0:10:25.200 perfect love castel fear. I know those Bible verses too, 0:10:25.520 --> 0:10:28.760 but you have to understand that in God's gymnasium, like 0:10:29.280 --> 0:10:33.960 fear is to our spirit what weights are to our muscles. 0:10:34.440 --> 0:10:36.840 And so when we feel fear, it gives us an 0:10:36.840 --> 0:10:40.840 opportunity to exercise faith. And so God has brought us 0:10:40.880 --> 0:10:44.000 into this moment together so we can share today, and 0:10:44.480 --> 0:10:48.440 we're doing it online and all of that. But the 0:10:48.520 --> 0:10:52.360 important thing about it is that we understand that we 0:10:52.480 --> 0:10:57.360 are positioned for a miracle, and so I want to 0:10:57.400 --> 0:11:00.400 share with you kind of one of my favorite miracles 0:11:01.240 --> 0:11:03.080 that I tend to go to when things around me 0:11:03.320 --> 0:11:08.200 are not feeling stable. I wonder, do you 0:11:17.440 --> 0:11:20.360 have any of those staple scriptures just once they get 0:11:20.400 --> 0:11:22.560 you through. Romans eight twenty eight has always been one 0:11:22.559 --> 0:11:26.840 for me because it says all things work together for 0:11:27.000 --> 0:11:30.439 the good of those who love God, and I used 0:11:30.480 --> 0:11:32.440 to read it wrong for years. I thought it meant 0:11:32.600 --> 0:11:36.360 everything was good, and so I preached a sermon when 0:11:36.360 --> 0:11:38.720 I was really young called It's all Good for Romans 0:11:38.800 --> 0:11:41.319 eight twenty eight. The Bible didn't say is all good. 0:11:41.840 --> 0:11:44.000 What we're going through right now is not good. Disease 0:11:44.120 --> 0:11:46.120 is not good. Somebody getting laid off from their job 0:11:46.200 --> 0:11:49.479 is not good. It's said that all things work together 0:11:49.720 --> 0:11:53.120 for the good when God gets involved. And so when 0:11:53.160 --> 0:11:57.199 God gets involved, when when God steps into hopeless situations, 0:11:57.200 --> 0:12:01.760 he positions us for miracles in the middle of a mess. Now, 0:12:01.760 --> 0:12:05.440 what I love about this miracle is that at the 0:12:05.520 --> 0:12:09.760 same time that the nation of Israel was coming into 0:12:09.840 --> 0:12:12.720 what we might say is their destiny, the Promised Land, 0:12:12.800 --> 0:12:15.880 like you mentioned a minute ago, John South, They're coming 0:12:15.920 --> 0:12:20.080 into their destiny, but they experience it as a disruption. 0:12:21.880 --> 0:12:23.840 And I just want you to write those two words down. 0:12:23.880 --> 0:12:25.520 And if you still got the kids running around, you 0:12:25.600 --> 0:12:26.960 need to send them out the room right now and 0:12:26.960 --> 0:12:29.480 put it on e kid's YouTube because we've got something 0:12:29.640 --> 0:12:32.480 to distract them. And I'm gonna need a 0:13:21.960 --> 0:13:23.679 real amen from a real parent on this one, not 0:13:23.760 --> 0:13:26.440 some little halo polishen parent filter and stuff on Instagram 0:13:26.440 --> 0:13:28.560 cropping stuff out and pretending like your house always looks 0:13:28.600 --> 0:13:31.040 like that, but a real parent. All right, there comes 0:13:31.040 --> 0:13:35.520 a moment where you've had enough. And I heard myself 0:13:35.559 --> 0:13:38.319 scream this, even though it was very ironic. I said, 0:13:38.800 --> 0:13:44.480 stop screaming. Take a moment. Let that set in. I 0:13:44.520 --> 0:13:49.280 screamed at the top of my lungs, stop screaming. And 0:13:49.320 --> 0:13:52.000 it inspired me, honestly, because I was studying the text 0:13:52.120 --> 0:13:53.960 and God showed me what to call this sermon today. 0:13:53.960 --> 0:13:55.600 Are you ready? I have a word from the Lord 0:13:55.640 --> 0:13:59.000 for you. This message is called when God says stop, 0:14:00.640 --> 0:14:04.600 When God says stop, And that's what I want to 0:14:04.600 --> 0:14:07.680 look at today. Somebody put in the chat say stop stop, 0:14:08.040 --> 0:14:11.400 stop stop. I mean, like you've had enough, Like you've 0:14:11.440 --> 0:14:18.120 watched enough CNN, Fox News, NBC, MSNBC, CNBC, every NBC 0:14:18.559 --> 0:14:22.040 and so there comes a point where God says stop. 0:14:23.240 --> 0:14:27.120 And I thought it was interesting that although we see 0:14:27.160 --> 0:14:31.840 this chapter in Scripture Joshua chapter three as the beginning 0:14:32.240 --> 0:14:36.120 of the nation of Israel's entrance into their promise, the 0:14:36.160 --> 0:14:39.360 promised land that God called them to occupy, it also 0:14:39.440 --> 0:14:43.520 represented an ending of what they knew as normal. And 0:14:43.560 --> 0:14:46.760 that's really profound if you think about it, because in 0:14:46.840 --> 0:14:49.000 order for God to bring something new, he has to 0:14:49.040 --> 0:14:55.520 disrupt something normal. When I was saying position for a miracle, 0:14:55.920 --> 0:14:59.040 I could almost feel you shouting through the screen. You're like, yes, Lord, 0:14:59.480 --> 0:15:02.080 pay it off, off, take it away, do it God. 0:15:02.720 --> 0:15:04.440 But this passage is going to show us a different 0:15:04.440 --> 0:15:07.440 way to look at it, that as we're coming into 0:15:07.480 --> 0:15:10.520 one new thing, we're leaving another. And I want to 0:15:10.520 --> 0:15:13.080 read the scripture to you. Starting in verse one, it says, 0:15:13.200 --> 0:15:17.520 early in the morning, Joshua and all the Israelites set 0:15:17.520 --> 0:15:24.360 out from Shitham. That's a long eye. Stop playing pastor 0:15:24.360 --> 0:15:27.160 appreci the worth. Let me start over. Y'all know I 0:15:27.200 --> 0:15:30.280 love you. Right early in the morning, Joshua and all 0:15:30.280 --> 0:15:33.680 the Israelites set out from Shitam. So they're going somewhere. 0:15:33.720 --> 0:15:36.120 Somebody say, I'm going somewhere.
