#2021 #WhatToExpectin2021 #Victory #PaulDaugherty SERMON NOTES ---how you finish one season is how you start the next… FINISH in FAITH… FINISH in PRAISE… FINISH in THANKFULNESS… FINISH in JOY… FINISH in PASSION… FINISH in HOPE… ----EXODUS 12:30-32, 35-38, 40-42, 51 --- NKJV--- and it came to pass God brought them out of Egypt… (keep vigil--- to stay in a place, to guard, quietly wait, pray, watch over…) ---EXODUS 13:1-5 --- CONSECRATE, COMMEMORATE… set apart for the future, and remember what God did in your past… REFLECT & EXPECT--- reflect on GOD’s FAVOR, and EXPECT it for the FUTURE… GOD brought you OUT of SOMETHING PAINFUL, to bring YOU INTO something GREATER… ----IF YOU REFLECT like the world REFLECTS--- it can lead to RESENTMENT, REGRET, REMORSE, REPEATING mistakes, revenge & a regression… THE ENEMY wants us REFLECTING the WRONG WAY---but GOD wants us to REFLECT on HIS GOODNESS… ----THE RIGHT REFLECTION leads to --- RENEWAL, RECEIVING GRACE, RE-IGNITING HOPE, RELEASING SHAME, REMEMBERING the GOOD… ---it is a TIME to REMEMBER- what GOD DID--- IN YOU, FOR YOU, THROUGH YOU---- ROMANS 8:28---- God is going to USE IT ALL FOR YOUR GOOD!!! ---EXODUS 13:17---22--- Sometimes God leads you in a DETOUR, it doesn’t make sense---HE KNOWS what you’re ready for, he knows what you need--- HE GOES BEFORE YOU…. ---FOLLOW HIS PRESENCE… FORECASTING the FUTURE--- JOSHUA 1:1-10 /// WHAT TO EXPECT in the FUTURE 1---GOD will BE WITH YOU--- 2---GOD will GUIDE YOU 3---GOD will HELP YOU 4---GOD’s MERCIES will be NEW every MORNING for YOU (Lam.3:23) What should you do? 1---LISTEN & OBEY God 2---FORGIVE the PAST & PRESS ON AHEAD--- (Phil.3:13-14) 2---STICK with GOD’s PEOPLE – don’t go alone 3---PURSUE his PRESENCE--- (EXODUS 33:7-11) 4---TRUST in His PROMISES 5---GIVE PRAISE at all TIMES 6---FORECAST FAITH ---Joshua 3:14---4:7  remember God’s goodness!
