Walking in the Will of God

Tonight, I want to share with us very briefly, and I pray that the Lord we use this word tonight to change someone's story. To the glory of God. Halleluyer. In the last three four weeks, I've been dealing with specific subjects and the intention is it's very clear. I told us there are many ways of divine intervention. There are many channels through with God intervenes in the affairs of humanity. And I said, the most popular one we know is to always reach out to men of God to pray. For us, to impatter us. And I said that is very beautiful. But I said, that is like it's a system of jump starting the dead battery. That is not God's best way of reaching out to humanity. That's not God's best way of intervening in our lives. God actually aspects us to grow to a level where, through our intimacy with Him and our application of the principles of the Kingdom, we don't even get to that place where we require somebody to have to intervene in the first place. So there is the place of God's intervention through human VESSU. But there says superior realm, where you become like him, applying his power through your intimacy with the Holy Girls and applying the principles of the Kingdom to live above the crisis of humanity. The men of God we reach out to to pray for us. This is how they live. Glory to God. Because once in a while. We also need people to pray for us. But most of the times we are able to secure of victory through the application of the principles of the Kingdom and through spiritual intelligence that we access by reason of our intercourse with the Holy Spirit. Imagine if your pastor is having need for somebody to pray for him every week, won't you need another pastor? Glory to God, And so God does not. Really expect us to leave depending on people praying and declaring over us every day. That's very beautiful, It's part of God's strategies. But most importantly, God wants you to grow and become like Christ so that your relationship with the Holy Ghost and your application of the principles of the Kingdom will bring you to a superior realm of existence. In order for us to come to that level of functionality, I took time to begin to teach us some of the principles and some of the resources of the Kingdom are valuable to us for this level of existence. And so we took our time, for example, to look at a subject with tithooed walking in the blessing, and I showed you the principles of walking in the blessings of God. And then we also took our time last week to look at No. Two weeks ago now walking in the fear of the Lord. And then last week I took out time to show us how to function or to walk in intimacy with the Holy Spirit. The blessings of God, the fear of the Lord, intimacy with the Holy Spirit are our kingdom channels for superior and victorious living. And if you understand these subjects, you will discover that your life will become a wonder. It would be as though crisis don't exist, because even when christis come, you will convert them to become platforms of tes simonis glory to God. It will be as those Satan does not exist, because every time he attempts to attack, you will not just defeat him, but it will become and not that avenue for testifying. But you see, you have to take the pain and the responsibility to practice these things and master them. Because I told you that Christianity is a life. Christianity is something that we live out and practice because it is actually. Divinity expressed through humanity. And for you to be able to live out God, you have to constantly work in partnership with the Holy Spirit. It's in your work with the Holy Gods that you gain. Mastery in victorious living glory to God. And so you need to go back to some of these messages and listen again and again until you gain mastery of these things. Know how to work in the blessings, know how to work in the fear of the Lord, know how to function by intimacy with the Holy Spirit. You will see your life grating constantly progressively. Yourself will be so amazed at the outcome of your life. In a matter of mods, tonight, I. Want to add another one, glory to God, working in the will of God, understanding the will of God, and functioning in the will of God. And I'll take our time to deal with one of them. Actually, I outlined nine dimensions. Of the will of God, and that's what I want to share with us tonight. When I'm done, I'll pick one and just deal with it a bit extensively, so that you, by understanding these truth we begin to upgrade the quality of your existence. Glory to God. I give you a few. Scriptures as I introduce this subject. There are four things that makes the will of God very important to me as a person. Four things I discovered from scriptures. Number one is the fact that the summary of Jesus's coming. To the act was to do the will of God. Jesus summarized the Purples for his coming to act as wanting to do the will of God. If the coming of Jesus is solely for the purpose of doing the will of God, then the will of God is something that every one. Of us must understand. In Matthew chapter four, west thirty four, Jesus was speaking. He said, my food is to do the will of Him that sent me, and to finish it. Matthew four, verse thirty four. My food is to do the will of God and to complete it. That's why he came. He came to do the will of God. Hallelujah. In Hebrews ten, verse seven is. A low as it is written in the volumes of the book, I come to do Thy will, O God. Lo as it is written I come. In the volume of the books Act it is written to do Thy will, O God. The summary of his coming is to do the will of God. In John Sids. Thirty eight and thirty nine, Jesus reinterrected this emphasis, and he said, for I am come down from heaven, not to do my own will, but the will of Him that sent me. I am calmed down from heaven. Just stop there, I'll come back to the scripture again. I am calmed down from heaven to do. The will of Him that said me. This is why the will of God happens to be one of the heaviest molecules of our Christian faith. And as we progress, you would see it. The second thing that makes the will of God of great importance to me the fact that when I studied my Bible, I saw that the major burding of the intercession of the Holy Spirit for the believer is for him to do the will of God. Romance, Chapter eight, verse twenty six and twenty seven. This is the heaviest burding of the intercession of the Holy golds for you. He said, Likewise, the Spirit also help our informities, for we know not what wi you pray for as we ought? He said, But the Spirit himself maketh intercession for us with groanings that cannot be ortered. Verse twenty seven he said, and he that's such a the hearts know. What is the mind of the Spirit. Because it maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God. So the burding of the intercession of the Holy Spirit for you and I is for us to walk in the will of God. I'm showing you why the will of God is paramount in your life. And unfortunately many don't know the will of God. Many Christians, they don't know the will of God. Even though some of us talk about it, we don't know it. I'm not trying to be derogatory, but this is the unfortunate reality. Jesus came into this world to do the will of the Father. The bulk of the intercession of the Holy Spirit is for us to work in the will of God. And then number three, the majorb burdying of apostolic intercession is for the saints to do the will of God. The major burding Collosians one, verse nine pos speaking, he said, from the day we head about the Church and colors. Now, he said, we have not ceased to pray for you, asking that you may be filled where they not let of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding. From the day we heard about you that you have come to the faith. Our prayers is for you to be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding. Colossians for twelve. Is a pathos is one of you, a bond servant of Christ, laboring favently for you in prayers, laboring fat evently for you in prayers, that you may stand perfect and completely not the will of God. So the burding of apostolic intercession is for the Church and the saints to do the will of God. Finally, the Bible said him that does not understand or do the will of God is foolish efficients five seventeen. He said, therefore, do not be foolish, but understand the will of God. So a saint is foolish if he does not understand and do the will of God. And so we live for the rest of our lives learning and perfecting the will of God. Learning and perfecting first matter for us too, he says, so as to live for the rest of the time in the flesh, no longer for human passion, but for to do the will of God, our host, Sir John, on the first of the earth, is to understand and do the will of God. The Bible, speaking about David, he said, when he had done the will of God, he rested with his father's. So the summary of a man's life is not the cars he has. It's not the positions he occupies. You can hand do. Or occupy the most powerful position on earth, yet be useless as well as God is concern, whereas somebody else may not even be so influential, But his life would be more consequential because he would have lived. It fulfilling the will of God. So the will of God is very important, and it's important for you to understand it and to express it. Having said this, what is the will of God? I will summarize it in a sentence, and then I would take our time. To break it down into. Layers, because I try to itemize them into nine dimensions, so that you will understand it in its applicability. You know, it's wanting to know something, it's another thing to know it enough to be able to apply it. So The reason I splittered it into nine dimensions. Is to help you apply it glory to God. And so the will of God summarily speaking, what God has in mind concerning every one of us, sommar really speaking, is for us to be like him. For us to do it, to. Be like Him, living in intimacy and worship of Him, and on the strength of that intimacy draw strength to advance His kingdom. God wants you to word, to be like Him, living in intimacy and worship of Him, and on the strength of that intimacy draw resources to advance His kingdom. And so if you are summarizing the will of God in three is that number one you become like God. That's why Genesis chapter one, verse twenty six, he said, God said, let us make man in our own image, Paul speaking, and say, henceforth, know we no man after the flesh. So the will of God for you is for you to become like Christ. That's why the summary of discipleship inefficients that the four verse sixteen is that you grow into Him in all things, even Christ, the head of the Church. So if you are not transfiguring into Christ's likeness, you are not in the will of God. Number two, the will of God is for intimacy. In Thetronomy thirty two, verse nine, he said, God's postion is his people, God's potion. I will talk about this as I go a bit further, but I'm trying to summarize now that you be like God, so when men see you, that you see God through you. And number two, that you live in intimacy with. God, worshiping Him day and night. This is what they do in heaven. It doesn't end with time. The twenty and four Elders the Bible said in Revelations for a level. Forever and ever, they kept singing. Holy, Holy, Holy, is the Lord. Blessed is the one who is, who was, and who is to come. All things were created for the pleasure. So you live in intimacy and worship of Him. And on the strength of that, He mandates you to carry his kingdom, his sovereign reign, his government, his authority to every sphare that He has commissioned you into. And so if a man does not look like God, he's not in God's will. If a man is. Not transforming and transfiguring to Christ's likeness, he's not in God's will. If a man is not living in intimacy and worship of God, he is not in God's will. And if a man. Does not have sufficient capacity to bring God's authority to wherever he is, he's. Not doing God's will. That's the summary of. God's will in your family, in your job, in your world, every where you are. Your likeness of. Christ and your intimacy with Christ should empower you enough to bring His authority to superimpose where you are living. If your life is summarized like this, then you are in the will of God. But for the purpose of applicability, let's break it into nine because scriptures itemize it for us. You know, when you read the Bible and your thirty your discover that everything you need is there in a very simplified way, so that you can learn to order your steps. Hallelujah. So let's look at the nine dimensions of what I have shared. First dimension of the will of God. Matthew six, Verse ten, Thy Kingdom Come. That's the first direction of the will of God. The sovereign reign of God, the authority of God, the government of God as it is in Heaven, should be reflected anywhere you are that's the will of God. If we come to your family, if they pray heaven, did you pray in your family? If we come to your family. If they worship God in heaven, they should worship God there. If we come to your family, if they live holy in heaven, they should live holy there. That's what the scripture is saying, Thy Kingdom Come. Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. So the first dimension of God's will is that his sovereign rain should become the reality anywhere you find yourself. And so a man is in God's will if his life he is summarized in a chitecture, in God's authority, as it is in the spirit, into his context. It may require you to talk, it may require you to pray, It may require you to first He may require you to spend your money. But by all means, anywhere you find yourself, if what is in heaven become what is obtainable there, know that you are in God's will. This is why the charge. It's one of the reflections of the will of God. Because when you come to church, there are many things we love, but we don't do them here. Some of you want to watch movies now. Is it? But no, but it's not the will of God. That's why we are not watching movies here. Some of you, as we are seed. Now you want to watch the Premier League. You have waited for a whole month. Your body is each every weekend in the evening you are you. Want to watch a match? Is nothing gosw That's why we're not watching it here. Now. This does not mean you can't do it, but this means your life should not be heavyer in those areas. So everything you see happening here carry it everywhere you go. You ain't gods with Worship happens here, Prayer happens here. God is praise here, holiness is and courage here. That is goes with you. If you are. Able to bet this anywhere you are, you are in the center of God's with This is what informs Jesus. Jesus' motivation. That's why I said I came to this world to do gos with you. I came to bring heaven to it. That's what they came here for. And anybody who knows God's will, this is what is Pansy's energy trying to achieve. If it's in a place. His focus is not the position. His focus is how can we bring us with here? How can we bring God's authority here? How can we bring God's government here. So anything they're doing that against God's. Character, the person fights against it. You know. I was sharing research and I said, people keep shouting and praying that Christians. We need Christians in government, we need Christians in media, we need Christians in school. I advocate for the same. But the question is, how about the Christian nations? There are nations today that are pure Christian nations. Yere, that's corruption. That means what we need. It's not just Christians, it's kingdom people. Because we have had Christians as president, nothing happened. We have Christians a senators, nothing happen. They just bear the title of being Christians. They don't know anything about Gods. With so a man becomes relevant and his life becomes consequential to the degree that they can bet Gods authority in the context that is the first revelation of the will of God. The second revelation of the will of God is salvation for all. The reason you bring God's government is so that the people are saved and transformed to live like citizens of heaven. And I'm sharing this with you because it's your responsibility. You are God's agent on earth. Angels at best way support you. The only goals at best will inspire you and empower you. But you are the one to make this happen. And if you are not making this happen, your life is in consequence where it matters. It's why you transit from here. You will realize it. The second thing that informs God's will is salvation for all. Because there is a contention in the spirit. Certain wants men destroyed, so he leads them to death, and God wants men saved, so he brings them into life. Glory to God. John six thirty eight to forty the scripture I attempted reading earlier. He said, for I am come down from heaven. Not to do my will, but the will of Him that sent me Ver's thirty nine. He said, And this is the will of the Father. This is the Father's will which has sent me. That if all which has given me, that oh which has given me, I should lose nothing, but should raise them up again at the last day. Ver's forty. And this is the will of Him that sent me, that everyone we see the song and believe that on him may have everlasting life, and I will raise him up on the last day. So when you are looking for the will of God is for you to have everlasting life, and for you to also help. Orders to have everlasting life. So anything you are doing on earth that does not lead you to eternal life, or does not lead orders to eternal life, that is your will. It's not the Father's will. If you are part of God's will, your engagements on earth will lead you and orders to eternal life. Glory to God. In Second Peter, Chapter three, verse eight and ten, write these scriptures down. These are sensitive subjects. That's why I take time to teach them like this so that you can internalize them. There are times when. We come to charge your so that we can transfer something to your spirit. There are other times when we come to disciple you that you know the teens of the spirit. Except God Beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years. Next verse, he said, the Lord is not slack concerning his promise as some men count slackness, but is long suffering to us word not willing that any should perish, but that God should come into repentance. So the will of God is for men not to perish, but for men to receive ever lasting life. So any man who is in the will of God, his preoccupation should be to facilitate anything that procures ever lasting life, because this is the Father's will. John three sixteen is sa for God soul love the world, that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believed in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. So, if you want to find out if you are in God's with or not, find out your time, your energy, your resources, to what degree does it translate to sou winnied. If your time, your energy, and your resources does not translate either directly or indirectly to so winnied, you are not a part of God's with. This is what the Bible is telling us. This is why, even why Jesus was yet on the cross, God was already in the road. To raise people who raise who we save people. In Second Corenians five nineteen, he said to it God was in Christ reconciling the world to himself, not imputing their trespasses against them, but he gave them. The world of reconciliation. So he made every one of us words received life to lead orders to eternal life. Jesus speaking in John twenty twenty one, he says, as the Father have sent me, He says, so O, so send I you? And what was the errand Matthew twenty eight, verse eighteen and nineteen. He said, all power in heaven and on earth belongs to me. You go in that power and do what disciple all nations. Disciple all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Hear me, Brothers and sisters, if you have not made up your mind, then make it now. Make sure your time, your energy, and your resources, amongst other things. Principally amongst other things, is channel towards so winning. Don't be found spending one hundred and sixty eight hours in a week and having not imparted one soul. What did you use that time for? You wasted it? No matter the justification you want to give, by all means, make sure every one hundred and sixty eight hours of every week, directly through your spending your time to go out to talk to somebody, or indirectly giving towards so winning. Make sure it is a part of your existence. It is capital in God's will. Number three, what is the will of the Father? Morality and holy living? Because after you have received eternal life, God. Expects you to live like him. That's why when I summarize the will of God, I said, becoming like God. To become like God. Number one, you have this nature, and number two, you live in his likeness. That's why I say, let us make man in our own image after our likeness. So when salvation has been procured, then through the help of the holy ghosts and the world, we must live holy. And we must help orders live holy. Look at the way the Bible puts it very clear. This is one of the clearest you will finds. First the Salonians, for. Verse three, he said, for this is the will of God your sanctification. He said, that you abstain from sexual immorality. This is the will of God, even. Your sanctification, that you abstain from sexual immorality. Paul was talking about this in Romance twelve. From verse one to two, he said, I buss you, therefore, dearly beloved, that you present your bodies as a living sacrifice, Holy and acceptable to God, he said, for this is your reasonable service. In Verse two, he said, be not conformed to this world, except for being transformed by the renewing of your mind. That you may prove that which is good. You will prove it that which is good. And acceptable and perfect will of God. So your sanctification and holy living is your progressive journey from acceptable to perfect will of God. The more you journey in God, the more we. See that God has no tolerance for iniquity. The moment a man is able to live holy, he has found the will of God. You know, can't be holy and be outside the will of God is a beer holy as your heavenly Father also is holy. So the thought expression of God's will is morality and holy living. Number four. Expression of the will of God intimacy with the Father. God wants to be part of your life. You know, the problem most of us have is every time we call up the name of the Lord, we need something, and it shows that we are baby Christians. Because most of the things we are even praying to God for. God told us not to pray to him for them. He told us to command them. All the times you come to God, you are reporting to him about the mountains of your life. Mean why Jesus told us a mark a. Level twenty two to twenty three. He said, have the God kind of faith. He said, when there is a mountain before, you don't talk to God about it. He said, command the mountain, bid thou remove, be. Thou cast away. He said, if you do not doubt in your heart, you have whatsoever you say. Meanwhile, ninety percent of our prayer is reported to God about the mountains, from houseland to sickness, to all kinds of frustration. This is why, although we are praying, we have no relationship with God. But Paul came to let us know that that is not God's body. Our prayer should be largely about fellowship. Our prayer should be largely about intimacy, even those of us who are human here humans here, imagine somebody the moment it casts you. Bro, I need something from food to money to transport fair. The next time he calls even that bro I irritate you, the bro will become like a plague. In fact, you will block him because you will consider him to be unreasonable. But unfortunately, many Christians are so unreasonable because every time we knock at the gheate of heaven. We need something that's not what God desires. God expects us to have a walk of fellowship. Listen, most say, when you got to pray, tell God, reveal yourself to me. I want to know you more. When you got to pray, tell God I love you. I want to experience deeper dimensions. When you got to pray, God reveal to me the mysteries of your kingdom. Cost me to journey deeper in you, so that you can then trust me with more assignment. Begin to pray like that, you'll be amassed. Most of the things you pray about on their own we vanish because the more deeper you get in God, the more empowered you become, and the more empowered you become, the more your challenges becomes insignificant. You know these things even in natural life. Of most of the people you know who are kings on it, do they back for food? Kingship already makes feeding and issue that is dealt with. How many rulers on it do you see looking for car. Guys part of the requirement or the package of the office. The problem we have is that we don't want to go high in. God we stay on ground, and we are begging for everything. No one that I said, I've seen an abomination on the face of the earth. He said. Princes are tracking, white beggars are riding on horses because we are not growing. John four twenty three and twenty four. Jesus told us the body of the Father is intimacy. He said, but they our comment, and now is went through. Worshipers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth, he said, for the Father's seecret search to worship him. You will not know how important this scripture and how weighty this scripture is until you know who God is. The name God means self sufficient, sovereign ruler, So that name already makes God a being that needs no body or nothing to be what it is. If God decides that he's looking for people to have fellowship with him, you need to know that it is something that means so much to him that he had to condescend himself to have sulf desires. Because if God doesn't condescend himself, he would need you and I. So it is his love that compels him to want it to have fellowship with you. Hope, you know that even before creation ever was the love equation was satisfied in God, the God. God is a community. God can love himself perfectly. He's the community, the Father, the Spirit, and the Son. They can live in that fellowship of everlasting love. Forever and ever. But God wants to have fellowship with beings outside of him. That's why he created you. This is why the toon on me. That two verse nine I quoted already. He said, the lost person, the lost inheritance is his people, he said, Jacob is his possession, poor said, the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the power to save, the love of God, and the communion of the Spirit, the communion. There is a dimension of God that is separated for intimacy, a whole dimension of the god Head, the commun union of the Spirit. They said, it should remain with you. Don't lose it. Don't lose. Don't lose the communion. Of the Spirit. That's where the freshness of your life is tight. That's where the empowerment of your life is tight. If you lose the communion of the Spirit, you have lost everything. And a man cannot be in intimacy with God and not being the will of God, because every time you come into intimacy. God shows you what to do. They most of us as stranded is because we have visitors to that place. Those who live there, they know what. To do because they say, ask of me, I will answer. But beyond answering, they say, I will show you Jerey Matthas three vers three great a mighty thing. Then you know not of no man stays in God's presence and has a rich communion with God and is prostrated in life. It's not possible. Every time you. Become stranded, know that your intimacy has been affected. If your intimacy is kept intact, you can never be transfunded. The most beautiful among stars and timesns my be low. That is Thomses beautiful. I'm mongstar and on times and. Issues. Uh, yes, listen. It's a beautiful to have a relationship with God and as the first pride of ourselves in the human beings that we have relationship with. I can call the president at any time. That's good. He has his benefits. Oh my wife is like a goddess. Yeah, glory to God. But trust me over and above that. Nothing compels Oh you don't. The Bible said, blessed is the man that God causes to approach him. Ah, blessed is the man. You know why when you come into God, you don't go out and. Leave God behind. God follows you out. The Bible said Moses went to Sinai party days. He was there when he descended. Even Moses was. Not aware that his face was glory. God had been deposited on him. He said, as he prayed, the fashion of his countenance was altered. Its rayman began to glister. See those of us who have intimacy, we know that beyond suit, beyond mascula, beyond powder, beyond live stick. They say, glory that can cover you that even when you are simple. People look at you. I saw you out of. The order of their motives because God we rob off on you. You think a man of intimacy prays for protection. No he doesn't. He knows that he's covered. Look at some ninety one, he said, Blessed is the man. Open that scripture. Just read it and see the level of insurance that intimacy brings to a man. We are here, pray, Lord, all my enemies fall and die. That's baby Christianity. Come up here, he said, Here that dwelled in the sacred place of the most art, I bide it under the shadow of the Almighty, say his confession. It's not Lord kills. Certain he doesn't even have that time. I will say of the law. He is my refuge and my fortress, my God in whom will I trust. That's three, he said, surely, my goodness, you know you know I'm not begging God to protect me. I know surely he shall deliver deep from the snare of the fowler, from. The noise on pestilence. That's four, he said. He shat compady with his feathers, and on that his wings shutout. Trust his shrewd shall be thy shield and thy boler. Say protection. Just because you dowear under the shadow, he said, that shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrows that fly by day, nor the pestilence that walk at in darkness, nor the destruction the western in noonday. Eight thousands shall fall by your side, ten thousands by your right hand. He shall not come near you. With your eyes you. Shall see I'm beholding in compass my God. Arrows don't come near me, Pestilence don't. Come near me, This truction, don't come near me. And it doesn't matter how many people are fettered in thousands come forth, ten thousands come for not to me. The excellency of intimacy is said, because thou hast made the law which is my refuge. If the most are. Your habitation, share no evil, Come night, thy dwelling. Ah. You see why some people just there at their breakout with some I just want to be where you are, dwelling day in your brason. I I don't want to worship. I. I wanna be where you. You are, dwelling in your presence, fisting at your tap table, surrounded by your glory, in your prescence. That's way allus want to be. You know, when you see when you're listen to music ministers, you're not the ones that are in the outer court, and you're not the ones that are in the inner court. And depending on the type you love, it also shows whether you're in the altar chord or in. The inner cord, you are covered. And that's not all. Look at some sixteen vesey level. He said, that would lead me in the part of life. There's a part of life. We are not in dies, we are not in fails, we are not in sik we are nothing can be diseased. There's a path of life. We are Everything flourishes. It's saying thy presence. It's not just life, it's fullness of joy at thy right hand pleasures. That's why you see some people, even in the midst of crisis, they laugh and their laugh time becomes a weapon, and you are wondering what's going on here? They are men of the presence. Why do you think the devil is fighting your walk with God? He knows that's where you become a god. We are with open phases, beholding us in the glass the glory of the Lord. We are times of host. There's a realm of transformation. There's a realm of transfiguration. Transformation is ment to upgrade. Transfiguration does not just affect the mind, ef your moleculars, structure and the out And we are not chained to better versions of ourselves. We are chained to that very image. So when you come out, you and your God become one. This is the widow god intimacy, the sum said. As the deer panted after the waters, he said, so my soul, so my soul. There are no superior things in the spirit. So my soul longer after the the philosopher said, kiss me with the kisses of thy mouth of Solomon. One has two to far. He said that love is better than wine. The thing that kings get intoxicated on. He says, naughty, compel to your love, he said, because of the savor of thy precious ointment. He said, thy name is like the ointment portfol He says, soul. Do the virgins love you? He said us we will run after you. We will not remember details of the wine. We will run after you.
