Tonight. I want to share with us on the subject I tittooed understanding salvation. You know, we've been dealing with matters of doctrine recently. I dealt with the doctrine of the forgiveness of scenes. I dealt with the doctrine of repentance. Maybe when we resume our look at the doctrine of sanctification, I look at the doctrine of justification, and then I'll look at the doctrine of glorification. Glory to God. I'll show you all of the layers of salvation tonight. But I just wanted to deal with salvation again tonight because we've touched some fundamental doctrines, and I believe it's only right we do that. Second TIMOLTI, chapter four from verse one. So you know the reason why these things are important is that I charge d Therefore, before God and Jesus Christ, whos are joined, the quick and the dead are disappearing, go on. If they preach the word. Be instant in season and out of season. He said, reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine. So the way to reprove, to rebuke and to exert is with what patience and doctrine next verse, and it's gonna give you why he said, for the time will come when they will not endear sound doctrine. But after they are own lost, shauld their hip to themselves, teachers having eachy years glory to God. They shall hip to themselves, teachers having eachy years. So people want to hear what they love, and there are many people doing a great job at pampering people's egos and telling them what they want to hear. Sometimes you see people working in error, so glaring. Yet people are prophesying to them that they saw God giving them new rank. They are prophesying to them that they saw God add dead angels to them. And these are the kind of things we want to hear. You see people walking in error and people you see people teachers and prophets and are possibles and encouraging them not to worry that God has done it or it doesn't matter what they do. Can they imagine God's love? And they forget about the necessary requirement of responsibility that God respects of them, that if truly they want us to this love, his love should compare responsibility. And so many people are drifting away into error, because those who are supposed to be gatekeepers have become teachers that satisfy people's egos, and they are and this is not just about the weakness of these teachers. Demons are involved in festival Teachapter four verst one poor ones again, he said, in the latter times, open the scriptures, let's read them. I have a lot of scriptures tonight. So when I was coming, I was asking God to help me just to read the Bible, not to talk by inspiration because the time can't serve. Because tonight I also want to deal with some debates on the subject of salvation, like issues of predestination, like issues of one saved, always saved, like issues of baptism and salvation. Whatter baptism and salvation. I want to touch on those things. That's the major thing I want to deal with, because I've done the doctrine of salvation before Glory to go, he said. Now the Spirit speak it expressly that in the latter times some short depart from the faith giving heed to seduce in spirits and doctrines of devils. So the people who preach doctrines wrong doctrines to men of eachy years are actually sponsored by demos. And if you look around you and you see the impact of the Five Food ministry, you will discover that it is more dangerous to have wrong teaching than to have false prophets. False prophets can deceive individuals and at most a group of people, but wrong teaching can enslave many generations. The impact is beyond those who are listening to it. It will be propagated beyond the lifetime of the teacher, and they can become falsehoods and strongholds that put people in bondage. That's why the gate of teaching is one that must be preserved, and preserved with all jealousy. Jude was teaching and he spoke, let's look at the Book of Jude is just one verse Wes three and four one chapter. I beg Your Pardons three and four is a be loved. When I gave our diligence to write onto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write onto you and to exhort you that should you you should endestly contend for the faith which was once delivered onto the saints. In Vest four, he told us, why. If we don't wolves were come in to destroy and sabota God's heritage excey, For there are certain men creptin unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation on godly men, turning the grace of God onto lass servious lives and denying the only Lord and our Lord, Jesus Christ. So they can they can alter, they can they can mutilate the Gospel, and when they do, many will be turned into destruction. This is why it's important for us to look into these matters and look at them very critically. Glory to God. And so I'm going to take time briefly just to give us a general overview of the subject of salvation. Like I said, we've done an elaborate teaching on the doctrine of salvation. If you want to get deep grasp on it, go and look at those scriptures there on our handles. And if you also want to be totally furnished on the subject matter, enroll in the Foundation School. We have form models on the subject, and we've dealt with so many aspects of it. But tonight I just give you a quick overview so that I can deal with debatable subjects or issues in the subject of salvation. Glory to God, so it's important for us to look at this. So the doctrine of salvation basically emphasiz emphasizes the works, the redemptive work of Christ, and it also explores the means, the process, and the purpose of salvation. So when you look at that doctrine, you are basically going to see the works of Jesus and going to be made to understand how you get saved, the process of getting saved, the purpose of getting saved. But it's deeper than that. Salvation actually is the foundational doctrine of Christian theology because that's the one doctrine that touches every other doctrine. It's within the subject of salvation that you get to understand the person of God in details, because when you're dealing with salvation, you need to understand who God is. You need to understand God's standard, how did we fall in the first place. If you don't know these things, you can't believe that you'll be saved, because it's your understanding of God's authority that gives you assurance that you can be saved. It's also understanding of God's authority that even makes you understand why you fel in the first place, because it was the one that gave the law, the moral law that we violated, that we fell into sin. If it's within the context of salvation that you understand not just God's being, but God's mode of existence, because it's in salvation that we saw that in order for God to save man and to bring administration to his purpose, we had to see Christ, who was the errand runner. We saw the Holygos who empowered the process, and we saw the Father who organized and. Instructed the whole process. So salvation gives you deep understanding into the subject of divinity. It helps you to know God. Salvation also helps. You to understand sin, because if you don't know seing, how do you know you are falling? Glory to God. Salvation also helps you. To understand who man is because in salvation you understand man and his purpose, and then you understand what happened to him when he failed and why he requires redemption. In Salvation, you also go to understand the Church because when we are safe, we are brought together to become Christ. Representative on the earth. In Salvation you taught a bit of eschatology because we are going to see matters of reward and eternity, all of that embedded in salvation. So in case you didn't have the opportunity to be taught all of the doctrines of the Bible, if you understand salvation, you would have taught Doc Thrins all of these doctrines at least in an appreciable manner. And again we've done all of these dual doctrines in a series that we tried to the things most surely believed among us, So you can look that up again. But tonight, let me give you basic overview of the subject. You already know that the word salvation is the words so terrier, and it's also the world so soo. And you know what that means. It means to be saved, it means to be delivered, it means to be ransomed. So everything that has. To do with bringing you security both now and eternally, and also establishing you in God until you become like Him is what salvation is about. Glory to God. So very quickly out touched some aspects of the subject just to give us insight as to what it's about. Number one, what is the necessity? Why is salvation necessary? Why is it necessary for you? To be saved. Why is it necessary for you to be delivered? Why is it necessary for you to be established glory to God? I give you four reasons. Very quickly, we are gonna be running tonight very first. Number one is necessary. Salvation is necessary because man lost all of the divine entrustments that was given to him when he fared. And for those of you who are also here, you know that we outline five basic things God gave us. Number one, he gave us his nature Genesis one twenty six is a let us make man in our own image. So God gave us his essence. God gave us his nature. God gave us his glory. When we fed, we lost it. And without that we cannot leave a purposeful life because the one who designed us designed us to possess and manifest his glory. Romance three twenty three said, for all have seen and falling short of the glory of God. So God gave us his glory and his nature when he created us. When we fed, we lost it. That's a divine entrustment. That's why we need salvation. Number two, God gave us the capacity to live like him. His righteous character was imposed in us. Genesis one twenty six. Isa, let us make man in our own image after our likeness. So we had the capacity to leave God's righteous character. But when we fail, God's nature and character was ortered. Jesus was talking to the Pharisees, who appear to be religious men. You will look at them and think these ones are trying to save God, so they should be close to God. And he told them John eight forty four. He said, you are off your father the devil. He said, the lost of your father's share. You do so, Jesus reveal to them in that one scripture that they've lost God's nature and they've lost God's righteous character. You are off. That means you your substances of your father the devil. And then because you have your father's character, your father's nature is this. Character you will leave. So man, no matter how he tries religiously, cannot manifest God's righteous character. He lost it at the four number three. Why do you need salvation? You lost God's authority. The only way you can walk in life victim curiously and for few God's purpose is when you're operyed by God's authority. It's like one who is ordained the president and he doesn't have the authority of a president, or you are ordained the king, anointed the king, and you don't have the authority of a king. You will be a free godhead. And God did not create us to be free godheads. On it, he gave us his authority to leave dearbye. But at the fall we lost it. The Bible speaking in Genesis one, we need it, he said, and God blessed them and said, be fruitful, multiply replenished, subdu have dominion. So he gave us his dominion. That's what he had in mind, and that's what he gave us. But when we fail, we lost it. Because Romans six sixteen said, whoever you eat yourself servant to obey the same you are whom you have obeyed. Jesus was tempted by Satan on the amount of temptation Matchew chapter four, look chapter four, and the devil told him, he said, bow to me. I will give you the glory of the world, for it has been delivered to me. Jesus never challenged it because Adam delivered it to him. In fact, Paul calls him the god of this war. Second Correentians for verse three and four. You see that. So he's been giving authority of our nature. That's why things go wrong on earth. But in order for you to secure your own in your own territory, so that Satan does not prevail, you must be saved so that you can exercise the authority that is in Christ Jesus. Otherwise you will be a slaved in this world. Number four, we lost God's presence. I'm talking about divine entrustments that were given to us when we were created. When God created man in Genesis chapter two, if you read from verse seven, he brited into his nursery. He became a living soul, and God put him in the Guardian, which he called hiden. And that speaks of God's presence atmosphere, of God's dwelling, so that you will have constant fellowship with him. But when the man fell because sink could not cohe beat with God, he was expelled from the Guardian. So the man lost God's presence and lost fellowship with God. And so it was necessary for him to be saved so that that fellowship can be restored. So in Romans four twenty five and Romans five, verse one, the Bible said Jesus was delivered for our offends. And then in Romance five to one is a being fully justified by faith. We have faith, we have peace with God. So our relationship with God has been restored in salvation. That's why we need salvation. And finally, why do we need salvation? As touching, divine and trustmen. We were not opportune to complete the cycle of our metamorphosis. When God created man, he created him to function by three order of life. There is the life of the flesh that powers this body. Leviticals seventeen, verse eleven said, the life of the flesh is in the blood. There is the life of the soul that sustains the mind is powered by your breath. Genesis two seven, he said, God breathed into his nose tries he became a living soul. But there's another life that powers your spirit, man, which is the zenit of your faculties. That life is. In Genesis two nine, he planted the tree of life in the garden. The man never ate it, so the psychle of man's development was not complete. He had two kinds of life. He lost the top type of life. So every man operates at the animal remo. We are just the unsaved men are just the highest animals in the chain, the animal chain, but they cannot operate in the God class because you need the God life to be in the God class, and the devil stopped the man from doing that. But in John three sixteen, the Bible said, for God soul, love the world that he gave. It's only the God and so on, that whosoever believed in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. So in salvation we receive the God life. So the first reason why salvation is the most is so that we receive back work God then trusted to us when he created us, so that we can live the complete life of purpose. And God then trusted to us his nature, his right, trus character, his presence, his life, and his authority. All of this we lost in salvation' why we call it the great fall. But when God, we lost it in the fall, but in salvation it's restored to us. The second reason why we need salvation is because we sined, and so we fell into the realm or the region of death. And when I said death, I'm not referring to cessation of life. No body we stop existing. Every body that was created we live forever, whether sinner or righteous, because it takes the breath of God to sustain life. So when we speak of death, we are not talking about the cessation of life. If you are not in Christ, you will live in hell forever and ever, and then you'll be transferred to the Lake of fire. So your promotion is hell to fire. That's why it's called hell fire. From hell, you go to the lake of fire to God. But those of us who are in Christ, we live with God forever. So when we talk death, we are not talking cessation of life. When we talk death, scripturally speaking, we are talking about three things. Number one, denaturation. When you died, you lost your essence, so that the nature us. That's why we are called motiles. When God created us, his goal was not to make mortals. His goal was to create a motiles sustained in flesh. But mortality means corruption. The momentum fail, you became corrupt. That's why sickness can happen to you. If man didn't fall, his body would not have been able to be sick because the body would have been created perfect. It's a it's it's it's a mortal body is a body hosting a mortal spirit. But the momentary failed. He became mortality. He became flesh of flesh, so he can be sick. Man should not have grown old, but the artward man perishes. The inward man is renewed there by day. That's why you we need and not that body. When the cycle of salvation is completed, called glorification glory to God. Because you were not create, your body is not to grow old. That's why Dan was in bonny child the way your eyes, the way you should have been. But now you are corrupt, so your body keeps perishing and glowing old until you are finally glorified and your celestial garment is given to you. The man was clothed with light and glory, so it was not supposed to know aging glory to God. Your body is not supposed to love error iniquity. Scene. Now you have appetized God lost. You are mortal, so you need salvation for that denaturation to be altered. Glory to God. And that alteration will happen at the last site, at the last part of the secuity of salvation. It's called glorification glory to Jesus. But for now we understand that. Death is denaturation, So you're foresick, you get weak, you get There was no record that Edan was tired because rest in Eden, it's not rest from times resting, it is Sabbath. It means a difference. Okay, let me stop there. But death is deniteration. Number two, That means purpose less existence because you are cut off from God. So death is separation. Separation. The results in purposelessness because you have purposed to the degree that you are connected to your designer. These speakers are purposeful because they are serving what the designer said is your serve. This microphone is relevant because they're serving what the designer designed it to serve. When you become separated from God, you no longer know your purpose. You become purposeless. You run on the earth like a wanderer. So when we say we speak of death, we are speaking of separation from God. The results in purpose less existence. And then number three, death is judgment. It's a state of condemnation. When we say something is dead in biblical context, it means that thing has been judged. So when man Sein, he died. So we need salvation because the program of debt needed to be restored. And then finally, why salvation. In most, salvation is a most because you and I could not help ourselves. It was impossible for us to save ourselves. If you die, it's called suicide. If they kill you, it's called mother. None of them bring salvation. Meanwhile, the wages of scene is dead. The price for sin is dead. But you can kill yourself. In suicide, somebody can kill you. It's called mother. So you need a savior to remove you from that quagmire. And in salvation, God sends a substitutionary lamp to die in your place, because even if you die, you could save yourself. There are many religions of the world that do a lot of pennants. Some climb mountains with their knee. Why you down, see a doctor quickly. It doesn't add anything. In the courts. In that court, there's only one thing they receive. It's blowed, and they say righteous blood. He said without remission of without shedding of blood Hebrews nine twenty two. There can be no remission of saying. Please, don't be distracted by this. We didn't put it here for people see this Christmas tree and say what they do it. I'm not going into the theology of Christmas tree. But just know that we didn't put it here. This facility is not yet ours. So anything we see here we operate. We just take becaucious of the spirit. That's what I'm saying. What cost on the spirit glory? So we couldn't save ourselves, so we need that the Savior to bring us salvation. So three reasons why salvation is the most is because number one, you lost the fine entrustments that are restored in salvation. Number two, you suffer the pain of death that is reversed in salvation. And number three, you couldn't save yourself, so God had to initiate the program to save you. This is why we are looking at the subject of salvation, and this is why salvation is the most. Now, what's the program of salvation? Like, it's important to understand it. In the program of salvation, there are three major players. Now two major players, but separated into compartments. Right, the first major player is God and here loonsponsor salvation. You have no contribution to salvation, but you also call the player because you have to receive it for it to be relevant glory to God. So when we're looking at the program of salvation, first we look at the God angle, and in the God angle, God initiates salvation. John three sixteen. For God's soul loved the world that he gave. It's only be good in soul. So God initiated it. Then Jesus fulfilled it. This is how the program of salvation runs. God initiates it, but God becomes a man in Christ Jesus and fulfills what he initiates. Because God is spirit, he can't come into the realm of men. So what God did was that he took a body to fulfill what he initiated. So the Father initiates salvation, the Son affected it or forlfilled it. Glory to God. First May one fifteen, Romans five eight. The Bible said, why we were yet sein us. Christ died for us, so it's forfilled in Christ. And First forty one fifteen said this is a faithful saying worthy of all acceptation. My goodness, it means acceptance. The ancient English he said that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sin us. And Paul said his chief among sinnerus. So God initiates salvation, Christ fulfills it, then man accepts it. That's how the program of salvation works. You see John three sixty save for God's oel love the world. So God provides salvation for the world, but only those who accept it are saved. So you must be part of that program for the program of salvation to be complete. And that's why Romance ten best man and ten said, if we believe in our heart the Lord Jesus, and confess with our mouth, we shall be saved. He said, with the heart man believed onto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made onto salvation. Why am I listening? Why is this sound like? This? Is this a HOODI mic we are using today? Somebody the hands on the sound person. Let this man prayed for wisdom for two years. Please, let's deploy this wisdom that God gave you. Now is that they prayed for wisdom for two years and he taught a little. The soundman needs some Please go there, deposit some of those wisdoms that you got in two years. Go on, I don't know why, go on, deposit wisdom there. Give me a bit of a bit of volume, Give me some baths. Don't we spend some money on this equipment. Don't make it sound like like a hoojah mic? That we go into the market and we are shouting be saved, be saved, glory to go. How can I be using a q LXD mic and I'm hearing myself in a strange man. I'm not feeling the vibrations, are you know? These things are products of vibrations. You feel it as it's hitting you that you two you are sending Otherwise, after one hour we'll all be bored. So there's the program of salvation. I've thought two things already why you need salvation, and then the program of salvation. God initiates it, Jesus fulfills it. You accept it, and that program is complete. This is why we preach the gospel. If your party is not necessary, we won't have been preaching. The moment Jesus died, I resurrected, the whole world would have been saved. But you have to accept it. So you don't do anything to be saved. Jesus paid the whole price, but you must receive what Jesus did in order for you to be saved. Is that clar number three? What are the biblical means for receiving salvation or for a veiluine salvation? What are the spiritual resources that makes salvation available and make salvation receive able. The availability of salvation is based on two things, and the receiving of salvation is also based on two things. Remember when we look at the pro we saw that God provided it. You receive it. So what in God makes it available? That's what I'm looking at now. Number one is the. Grace of God. Without the grace of God, salvation would be impossible. Romance Chapter two, verse four five, Romance two, verse one five, Efficients forgive me two, verse one five. Just write these scriptures down when you go home, meditate on them. I'm first. If you meditate, it will make more sense to you. But for now, just right is sat for God, who is rich in mercy. For his great love. We are weill love Thos next verse even when we were dead and sin had quickly not together in Christ. And now added by grace, are you saved? If you got to verse four, it will Ver's eight. It will add not of your own works. So I'm not saying you did anything to be saved, and say God did everything for you to be saved. Your job is to receive it. And I'm now showing you the instrument in God that it took advantages for you to be saved. Number one is called Greece. Number two is called atonement, or the principle of substitution. You know, God is a wise god. Before Jesus ever came, he established that system in the human context that is possible for one person to be wrong and another person pays the price. That's why I can take you to a restaurant and say it's whatever you want. When you eat, I pay. They won't hold you and say no, you are the one who hit paid. No, if the money comes out, it's done. So long as it's not to know. It's a principle of substitution, and it affects every aspect of human civilization. But God wrote on this principle to bring salvation to us, and we call that atonement. And if you study attonement, there are two aspects to attonement. That is what we call expiation, and that's what we call propitiation. Expiation is the art of war away iniquity. White propitiation is the act of satisfying the anger of an aggrieved person. So in salvation, talking about atonement, Jesus had to die for his blood to be sheared, for sin to be washed away, and that is why Jesus died. When he died, he became the substitution for you and I Second Correentians five twenty one. He said, he made him. That's what it was, without saying, to become sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Christ. Jesus in Colossians one, verse twelve and thirteen is a giving terms to the Father. In fact, we are going to go to verse fourteen, who has made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light. Verse thirteen he said, who had delivered us from the power of darkness and translated us into the kingdom of his dear son. How verse fourteen, in whom we have redemption through his blood the forgiveness of sins. Blood was required to wash away our sins. That's what atonement in. System for substitution to be possible. Jesus died, his blood was shared, and that blood became the testimony for your righteousness. I died in your place. And then there is propciation. The wrass of God insists that the sinner must die, so God will hear anything until he his death. So when Jesus hung on the cross. He was satisfying the anger and the judgment of God. So the judgment that should have come on you went on Christ. So in the death of Jesus there is expiation. Blood was shared that washed your sin, and there is propitiation. The anger of God was met because he saw the sinner dead, since he took your place in sining. These two cot put together is what we call atonement. And so for salvation to be available, there must be grace, and they must be atonement. Grace is the ability of God to give you himself even when you didn't merit him, so that He pays the price for you. That's why they call it on merited favor. And within the. Context of grace, atonement is a practice. An Atonement is expiation and propreciation. So this is what it's required in God's realm for salvation to be made available. Now for you to receive salvation, two things are also required. Number one, repentance. You must prove to God that you appreciate what is giving. And the way you show that proof is that you turn away from your old ways. Because what God is a veiluine you must receive. But the way to receive it is to prove to him that you appreciate it, and you appreciate it enough to turn away from your old ways. So in Acts Chapter two, verse thirty eight, the Bible made it clear, glory to God. It s a. Peter said on to them, repent and be baptized, every one of you in the name of Jesus for their remission of scenes, and you shall receive the Holy Ghost. So you'll repent. You must show God I approve it. I showed you last week from the Book of Lukes. Now I think it looks Look three eleven or three thirty three. Find it for me. We have The Bible said if you don't repent, you will perish in your sins. So God expects you to turn away from sin and your wicked ways to be able to receive what He has to offer. But it's not enough to turn away. After you have turned away, the way. To receive it is to believe in Jesus. You must believe that is the Son of God, and you must believe that He died for you. If you are eating in a in a restaurant and I come, I talk to this person serving and drop a bundle of money, he won't just stand up and assume I paid for you. The only time you will know I paid for you and you can work up freely is when maybe the water whispers or I whisper and say, don't worry about your bees are paid. You get That's when you can work free. And then it's even more complex. If you didn't see me pay. You are eating in a restaurant and I just walk in, I said, please, why you're going don't but paying? I've paid? You would be like, first you will wear me the clothes I'm wearing, my watch, my shoe. Do you know what how much I'm eating? The food i'm eating here cost for thousand? The clothes you're wearing does it? Does it suggest you can't pay? But if you look at me, you'll see my my my watch. I'm wearing maybe a talk Zendo suit. You check my watch, there are diamond twisters on it. And then you look at my watch. I'm wearing a dermat Pick wet watch. Yeah, maybe a particularly watch. You say, no, he can pay, but you also you now ask the wetter did did he pay? I know he can't, but did he 't the wetter and I'll say yes, Then you can pocket your hand, and can I order for more because this is my appetizer. I actually wanted two laps of chicken. Glory to God. So you must believe for you to receive salvation. So you repent, and then you believe in Jesus. I quoted for you already Romance ten Vest nine and ten say, if you believe in your heart the Lord Jesus, you shall be saved. You shall be made righteous. If you confess with your mouth, you shall be saved. Glory to God. So you must believe to be saved. This is the means of receiving salvation. God provides it in his grace. Jesus paid it, paid for it in his atonement. You repent from your old ways, you believe in Jesus Christ, and then salvation is yours and yours for the tackling glory to God. This is basically what we preach. We can pretty different aspects of it. We can go and preach repentance, we can one preat the grace of God. We can go on preat faith in Christ. We are just touching different aspects of a complete secuit glory to Jesus. Number four, What are the processes involved in salvation? All of the complex debate about salvation is enshrined in the processes involved in salvation. When you study the subject of salvation, there are three major processes involved in salvation. The first is what we call justification. We are God declass your righteous before Him through your faith in Jesus Christ. Romance five verst one there which romance five best one been therefore justified by faith we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Now many things happen before we go to justification, and our take time to show you because I'll show you the sequence of salvation. But let's leave it like this for now. This is what the first aspect of salvation covers. This aspect covers your predestination, you're calling, your regeneration, your faith in Christ, and repentance. When all of that is done, then God justifies you. He declares you righteous before Him. So under needs justification is predestination, is calling, is regeneration, is faith in Christ, is repentance. When God says that all of these things have been satisfied, then it declares that you are righteous. This is the first aspect in the process of salvation. On that year, when you read your Bible, you are going to see. This is where you know many don't understand this. Okay, let me take it one by one. After justification, you now have sanctification. You know, it's difficult to teach you. It takes the help of God because these things can be they are precept upon. Preceerved, lines upon lines. Yeah, lid to here, lid to. After justification, you not have sanctification. And I will show you why you need this process. You need this process because of your make up, your spirit, soul, and body, and the project of salvation must affect your spirit, your soul, and your body. But the reason God begins with the spirit is because what it does in your spirit becomes and insurance for your soul and your body. That's why God begins with justification. Glory to God. But I explain it deeper as we proceed. After justification, you have sanctification. Sanctification is the salvation of the soul, and it borders around the transformation of your mind. So when we say man is saved, we are not just saying a separative from the wrath of God. We are not just saying he now has eternal live and it can have a relationship with God we're also talking about. The total overhauling of his total makeup. So God, through his world and his spirit, will transform your mind to become like Christ. Glory to God. Because Christ didn't just. Come to give you eternal life, It came to give you the mind of Christ too. So there is also the process of sanctification that borders so much around your transformation. And then finally, in the process of salvation, there is what we call glorification. Glorification, So justification has to do with the salvation of your spirit. Transformation has to do with the salvation of your soul. Glorification has to do with the salvation of your body. The Bible said in the twinkling of the eye, it said, we shall be changed, and our vile body shall be replaced with our celestial bodies. So God regenerates your spirit, transforms your soul, and glorifies your body. Glory to God. That's when you become completely saved because of this process. When you read your Bible, sometimes you are gonna see the Bible referred to your salvation in past tense. We heard the Bible say you are saved, as though the whole process is already completed. Efficients two verse eight and nine, Titles three, verse five. Let's look at that quickly, he said, For by grace are you what saved? So it's past tense. By grace, are ye saved? Is in past tense? Then Titus three five. You'll find these things in scriptures. Is it not by the works of righteous that's what we have done. But according to his messes, he saved us. So it projects and propagates salvation as a reality that has happened in the past. But as you read your Bible, you're also going to find this same subject of salvation being discussed as an ongoing process. First Corangeans one eighteen. Very quickly, I'm learning this foundation because we want to look at arguments on the subject of salvation. Except for the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness, he said, But onto us for talking to himself now and those who are saved, which are but on to us which are saved. It is the power of God give me an IV. There's a version that costs it being saved. I don't have time. Except for the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, is said, But to us who have been saved. He said, it is the power of God. The other scriptures I can give for this, but I'm giving overview. I don't have time to go intomorrow. But the point is there is a presentation that salvation is in the past. There's a presentation that salvation is an ongoing process. And there's also a presentation that salvation is a futuristic event. Matth tw twenty four, verse twelfth and thirteen. Romance five, verse nine and ten. Let's look at that quickly. This is futuristic Matth two twenty four versus twelve and thirteen. It said, because inequities, you are a bound projected because of the increase of wickedness the love Okay, let's go back to KJV. I just came to when I've been to establish something. And because iniquities are are bound, he said, the love of many shall works code. So it's telling you about matters of eternity, light seeing and all of that. That's their team. It's a but he that shall end there on to the end. The same show what they saved, the same Shah be saved Romance five, nine and ten. Quickly, Roger said, we should read many scriptures today. Today's Bible studies Romance five nine and ten is a much more then being now justified by His blood. He said we what we shall be saved from wrath through him. So you look at these three scriptures. Some scriptures project salvation as a pastive event completed. Other scriptures project salvation as an ongoing event. Other scriptures project servation as a future event. Why is that? So is the process of salvation. The first aspect of salvation deals with your spirit. God will not upgrade your spirit. God is not doing anything about your spirit. You are completely saved. The ongoing part people are bringing body bodies. The second part has to do with your soul. God says, the Bible shows that your soul is being saved because it's a transformation process. And then the third part has to do with your body is glorification. It will happen at the last trump. So when you read the Bible, don't be confused. It just is because of your complex nature, your spirit, soul, and body. In salvation, God dealt with your spirit wants and for all, But he's dealing with your soul, and he will deal with your body also. Wants and for all. But at the end of time. Now, the salvation of your spirit, which is in the past is called regeneration. That's what we call new birth. So when you are looking at the process of salvation, justification, which has to do with the salvation of your period is a total rebate. Your spirit is not improved. You were born again, so it's a regeneration process. But your soul is being transformed. If God gives you a new soul at forty you'll be an embassador. The psychological term is tabula rasa. Your mind will be empty, so instead of being saved, you'll become an embassade. So what God is doing is that it's transforming you through the revelation of the world and the workings of the spirit, and then your body. If your body changes, now you can be on it. We go to the spirit tren So God waits until the end of time and then he changes all our body. We call it transubstantiation. So you have regeneration, transformation and transubstantiation, which is a product of justification and sanctification and glorification. This is the process of salvation. So if you are dealing with the subject of salvation, on any subject, you must be mindful that salvation is not only a spiritual experience. It's not just about your spirit, it's not just about regeneration. There is a more arguments around the subject of salvation cannot be extrayed through the spectrum of the totality of scripture and be correct. Is because most of the argument of the subject of salvation is only around regeneration. It's only around you are saved. It's only in the past, it's only based on justification. They completely neglect sanctification or transformation or they being saved part. And they also neglect the glorification or transubstantiation or they shall. Be saved part. That's where we have crisis when we are dealing with matters of the doctrine of salvation. So when we are looking at some of these debates, put this at the back of your mind. Glory to God. So we have looked at what why you must be saved or why you need salvation. You have looked at the program of salvation. We have looked at the means of attaining salvation, and we have looked at the process of salvation. Now let's look at the scope of salvation. I know, my foundational school teachers, I'm seeing the way people are nodding. It's like the notes are coming alive. I'm not following. I'm trying to you know, you teach this in eight hours. I'm courting and doing a lot of architecture our work here. So scope of salvation, there are two dimensions I taught you quickly. Number one is the universality of salvation, and number two is the holistic nature of salvation. Holistic nature one has to do it how broad salvation is. Another one has to do with how deep salvation gets into you, the one who has been safe. So when we're talking about universality, we argue this cope of salvation to be something God provided for the whole world. So salvation is. For the whole world. John three sixteen is say, for God soul love the world, that he gave his only begott and Son, that whosoever believed in him shall not perish, but have everlasting life. Titles two elevel. For the grace of God that bringeth salvation has appeared to all men, So every man is captured within God's salvation. This is what towards the Calvinism movement. So that's why I'm taking time to explain this so that when we are looking at debates, you understand. Because the Calvinists don't believe that salvation is for everyone. They believe salvation is only for those God pre destinated to be saved. Our God to be a wicked God. How can God know the whole world we see and God imagine? God comes even in your family. He chooses, the mother chooses, the sister, chooses one brother, and leave the father and two other brothers to go to hell. What kind of God is that? The grace of God, that bringer salvation has appeared to all men. Glory to God. So salvation is universal. The reason people are not saved is because they refuse to accept Christ, not because God didn't provide salvation. John one twelve. As many as receiving to them, he gave the right to become the sons of God. He said. He came into the world. He didn't come to few people. He came into the world. Although the word was made by him. The world received him not, he said, but out of the whole world he came for as many as received him to them, he gave the right to be sons of God. So God brought salvation to the whole world. But God that's all respects the will of man. So is the ones who accept Him that are saved. So salvation is not for a few. Salvation is universally available to every man. This is why God communicates salvation through nature. If you read Romance one twenty to twenty two, say, even nature is a preacher said, the invincible things even matters the border on his eternal power and god Head is manifesto. You can see the love of God through nature. And then God sent his son to personify it to humanity. And then God raises preachers to preach about his son to humanity. You'll see that, so that everyone can receive him. It's available to all, but to show you God's heart, he also personalizes it. So the first cope of salvation it's his universality. Number two, which is the second scope of salvation, is the holistic nature of salvation. When God saves, he saves to the uttermost. God will save your spirit and leave your soul. And God will save your soul and leave your body. He says, your spirit, your. Soul, and your body, and he also saves you from circumstances. That's the scope of salvation. That's why when the man is saved. You know, there are many debates and arguments today that God is not interested in all that aspect of your life. God is only interested in your soul. And God knows certain it's fighting your circumstances. And the same God that says wake, come, give you it turn a life and say now whatever you find face it. Who saves like that? Imagine you give back to your child and that you say, I have brought you into the world. Survive And there your boy of two years is going to look for a job. They say, take ho, go on firm. Will you be a good father? But this is the argument many people post to let They said that God's will just about your eternal salvation. God is interested in your soul now that you are saved. God doesn't care about your warfare, He doesn't care about your circumstances. He doesn't bless anything about your material life. But this same God puts you in a material world. This same God expects you to use material teams to advance his kingdom. Now the question is when he created the first man, was his concern about his material life? Did they put Edam in a zoo? Everything Eddam needed was provided, So God does not just save the spirit. God does not just save the soul. God does not just save the body. God saves you. Even from your circumstances. This is why you must learn to exercise faith for every aspect of your being. Thou receive Christ for your soul and avoiding me your business. Thou receive Christ for your soul and avoiding Me your family. Because any aspect of your life where you don't involve God is a warfare ground and cetain we defeat you because you can't fight certain outside Christ. I know there are universal principles and laws that governs other aspects of our lives. It doesn't mean with you have dooner read God. If you do, when demons becomes evolved, you'll see that principles alone can save you. Glory to God. So salvation is universal and salvation is holistic. Now let's look at the order of salvation. This is the protocol or the sequence. If a man is truly saved, all of these things at one point or the order must happen to him. Now, I want you to understand the things I'm sharing here. I am not saying you paid for your salvation. I'm saying only God paid for your salvation, but I'm saying you can pray to receive what he paid for. So you need to understand the difference. That's why I'm imagining it. I don't have time to start itemizing things, so in such a detailed manner. Now, in Salvation, there are eight sequences. That categorizes the complete secut of salvation. Number one is election. Anybody who is saved, God elected him to be saved. And I'm not saying those who are saved are the only ones God elected. I'm saying every man born of a woman is elected to be saved. That means God knows and captures you in his program. And I know why I put these things because we are going to look at some arguments. Ah, we may look at some arguments. I'm saying time now we may or we might look at some argument Efficients one, four, and five. One He say, according as He had choosing us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love. He chose us before the foundation of the world. Verse five said, having predestinated us onto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will. So nobody who is saved teks God by surprise. He knew and he provided for everyone who will be saved. Even those who are not saved were predestinator to be saved. They only didn't choose it. Number two calling if you are saved, not that the Father drew you. You didn't become saved because you were reasonable. You were drawn, Jesus said, every man that came to me was drawn of my father. He said Romance eight, verse twenty nine and thirty, calling, So you are predestinated, then you are called, except for whom he did for No, he also predestinated to be confirmed to the image of his son, that he might be the first bonne among many brethren verse thirty. Moreover, whom he did predestinate, then he also called. So the second sequence in salvation is a calling. Now all of these things are happening before you were born. This is to show you God's mercy and God's love. He knew you before and before you can be provided for your salvation, And when you got born, he started pulling you to himself. Now that you are called, God doesn't stop there. For you to be saved. He expects repentance, and faith. When your sense God's pool, you must respond. If you don't respond, the orther program will stop. This is why many were predestinated. Many were called, but they were not saved because they didn't respond in repentance and faith to God's pool. Asked to thirty seven and thirty eight, Peter said, now when they heard. The world the Bible said, they were pricking their hearts. Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their hearts and sat down to Peter and the rest of their apostles. Men and brethren, what shall we do to be saved? So when God push you respond? That's why I said, today's the day of salvation. When you hear the gospel, I didn't know your heart. People are not safe, not because God didn't predestinate them. They are not saved, not because God didn't call them. They had din their hearts when they heard the gospel. They had in their hearts when God pulled them. So don't tell me this. God had lost the world so much. We save some and leave some to perish. Do you know what hell looks like? How do you come vis me? God lost men by allowing some people to go to Her and saving few people is that not selective justice? Even among men? We know that's not righteous when you is it not double standards? So God can't do that. People who are not safe are not safe because they didn't respond in repentance, and in fair. Is a pitter said not to them repent. So if you must be saved, you must repent. And you don't just repent repent, you put your faith in Christ Romance ten nine and ten. You believe in your heart the Lord Jesus. You're confessed with your mond. So the third sequence in the protocol of salvation is repentance and faith towards God. This is what most of the apostles preached in Acts of the Apostles. I think that's twenty one twenty now or twenty twenty one. Check it for me quickly. Paul said he preached repentance from seeing and faith towards God. Check it. Check twenty one twenty or twenty twenty one. Help me with that scripture. He say, this is what he did with the Gentiles, testifying both to the Jews and the Greek repentance towards God and faith towards Jesus Christ. Because it's a most insalvation equation. So you have predestination, you have calling, you have repentance and faith. Then number four, when you repent and your exercise faith towards Christ, then regeneration takes place. John three three to five. Jesus changes your spirit man. It gives back to you anew. Jesus answered and said, down to him, very very ac on to you. Except a man is born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God. So God doesn't improve you when you repent. God doesn't improve you. When you put faith in Christ, he give back to a new creation. That's why Second Correnthians five twenty one said, whoever is in Christ Jesus is a new creature. You were rebe you were reborn, is a rebected process. He is a new creature. Efficients two and said, we were created in Christ Jesus onto good works. So the first thing that happened is the rebect of the spirit man. They rebet. This is why Satan can't have any accusation against you, because you are a new man entirely. He is a new creature. There was a rebet process that took place. Now after regeneration, then the fifteen is adoption. Now that you are reborn. You have got DNA. You are called into the family of God. Gardations four, verse five to seven projected. Is that to redeem them which were under the law, that they might receive adoption of songs. Adoption of sons, he said, And because you are sons, God hath sent forty spirit, the spirit of his son, into your heart. Crying above Father. Verse seven, he said, wherefore now at no more servants, but son a son. And if you are son, there you are heir through Christ Jesus. So what God did after a generation is adoption. You are not a servant in God's house. We serve God, but we are sons of God. We are sons as many as received Him to them, he gave the right to become the sons of God, born not after the will of the flesh, but born by the word of God. So there is adoption. Then there is sanctification. I'm sure you everything that happens in the journey of servation there is scientification. God now begins to walk on your mind to keep that which you have received. Second Tarsalonians two thirteen Philippians. Once, so this this thing does not end on the cruiseade ground is a lifelong journey, except when we are bound to give thanks always to God for you, brethren, beloved of the Lord, because God had from the beginning choosing you to salvation through sanctification of the spirit and beneath in the truth. He has choosing you before the foundation of the world for salvation through sanctification. So for you to come into receiving everything Christ been available for you, you must receive salvation, and you must also go to the protocol of sanctification. See if most of us we go to heaven and discover salvation is not just about eternal life. It's also a by eternality world. Who you becoming eternity. We will not be disaded. That's why after God saves you, separate you from condemnation, gives you his life, he now begins to. Transfer that reality through your soul, through your body. You must learn it. You must learn it. He say, Many, we not hit sound doctrine. You just wanted to end on the crusete ground. I'm saying now, won't go to her now, won't be George. That's true, but that's not where it stops. You must become like Christ. That's why sanctification is important. Then there's perseverance. Perseverance is the work of the Holy goes in you to keep you in His kingdom, in his government, and in salvation. June one, twenty four Matthew twenty four, twelve thirteen, First Corinthians fifteen one and two. He say, now on to him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you footless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy. He's praising God. But this is how he describes God, who keeps you from folly. That means you come for don't let anybody come to tell you you come for you can ford. That's why God keeps you from folly. So you have to compeat with God to keep you from folly. And I'm gonna talk a little about apostasy and to him that is able to keep you. So number one, there's confidence that God is happy you. Now that you know God is happening you, you now comporate with it. Imagine if I told you there are teams out there with gods. Stay here, stay here. So long as you stay here, I can protect you. If they come, I defend you, I stop them from coming. There. As I'm saying, stay here, stay here you now route the other pathway run out. That means I have the capacity to save you, but you didn't stay within the context where I provided defense. So God is able to keep you from folly. So stay with him so that you don't fall. Glory to God. Matthew twenty fourth tween is said, because iniquities alaboud, the love of many shall work. Code the love of many is our work God. Because iniquities are abound, the love of many shall work go Vest thirteen. But here dying dear to the hearth. So as God is keeping you, you must be in the organ. If you don't play. Your part, you may be shocked. And when I teach these things, the reason I teach the whole counsel of God is because none of us have been to eternity before. The script twice are our only window. Do you know why we have all these debates in the body of Christ. Those who believe one's saved is always saved, they don't just believe it. They want to prove that those who say one save is not always saved is wrong. And then those who believe that one save is not always saved want to force those who believe that one save is always saved. I'm not saying you can accept the truth, but I'm saying when you are examining the two scriptures, he will take caution. I believe God is able to save me. I believe I'm saved eternally, but I will not be foolish to leave anyhow. I want avoiding the questions of scripture because I think God can save me eternally. I've never got to eternity before. The guy who is prettily has not gone there. We are all trying to enter prescripture. So I will show you. I will show you see tonight, I'm not taking inside. I will show you arguments, and then I will show you my own position, so you reason with the argument glory to God. So God is able to keep you from falling. You therefore comprehend with God so that you don't fall. And then finally there's glorification. When you don't fall to the end, then you. Are glorified Romans e. Thirty. It's a hymn that he called justifies him, that he justifies, he glorified, So God will glorify us. Is that at the end, at the sound of the trump, he said, we shall be changed so we all will be clothed with our celestial bodies. Glory to God. We shall be clothed with our celestial bodies. Give me the other phone there quick, Let me let me touch something. No, yeah, let me. Are you learning something. Now? These things I'm sharing, write them down, study them, litter, study them, litter, Thank you Father? Those online are there following, is it? Claire? So very quickly, let me touch the last thing I did say what I said to PuF you. So let me look at the assurance or assurances of salvation. Second TIMOLTI one verstwelve. There is assurance in salvation, but assurance does not sponsor recklessness. That's my own addition now, because many people interpret assurance or salvation as recklessness, they're not the same thing. Yes, there is assurance of salvation, but assurance is not recklessness. Please be careful when you hear preachers teach you salvation. Some people are preaching recklessness as assurance of salvation. They tell you, especially young believers, I can live in funication till the day I die. I will go to heaven. Lying is nothing. The love of God is bigger than lying. If you know the love of God truly as you claim, can you be lying? He said, the love of Christ comes us. You know, we try to explain these things cognitively, but in the spirit is one thing. If I claim that I know the love of God, I can't live in See. So if I'm living in See, I don't know the love of God. The Bible said that that love the world, the love of the Father, is not in them. So if you come to tell me, I can punicate and go to heaven. I can lie and go to heaven. I know you have scriptures to back it up. But the question asking is that's cryptore you are standing on that claims the love of God, the power of God that's kept you. Does that same scripture not say if you know the love of God, you can't do these things. So are you sure you know the love of God? Because when it's a cognitive discussion we separate them. But in the spirit is one thing. So I'm not going to start fighting with you. I'm saying, if you keep lying, you will go to her. I won't fight you too that if you keep funicator, you go to her. I've never gone there, but we will meet there when we go to eternity. May we not be on different sides. Those who are reckless don't go like they read FU. And then you discover the last minute and said, please let's send most is to tell my brothers that this is not so I don't want that to happen to me. So, although I'm sure that I'm saved eternally, but I won't be reckless. So the caution that you must have is avoid recklessness. So let's look at the assurances issue second one to twelve. Except for the witch, cause I suffer these things. Nevertheless, I'm not ashamed, except for I know whom I have believed, and I am persuaded that it is able to keep that which I have committed onto him against that day. So, like Paul, everyone of us should be persuaded that God is able to preserve us. In fact, the Bible said he saves to the uttermost. So caution is not suggestion that salvation is not eternaline nature. But caussion is telling you that you cannot understand the total dynamics in your mind, So be careful. Glory to God. So as dealing with assurance of salvation, there are three major aspects of assurance. There is the assurance of faith. There is their insurance of hope, and there is the assurance of understanding. These dimensions of assurance, we call them internal assurances of salvation because servation is not something we just read from a textbook called the Bible. It's a reality that impacts us. So before we look at the external assurances, we as Scripture is numbered, what happens to your spirit and your soul when you are saying, there must be realities in you that suggests to you that what I have is not a lie. After the Bible said that light is the true light, the lighter every man that comets into the world. So anybody who is safe it should know. It shouldn't be something that a textbook told him. And I'm not the mainly scriptures. But if it's leal, if it's organic, you should know. So there are three aspects of knowing or assurance. The first is what the Bible calls the assurance of faith. Hebrews ten twenty two is a letter drawn near with a heart full of assurance of faith. Having our conscience sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our body is washed with pure water. It's as we draw near to God, there should be a rigid faith that what we receive from Christ. It's not just leave, but it's a tanner. It's got the assurance of faith. If I ask you, now, why do you know you won't go to her that there is say, knowing in your spirit, it's a true faith. We understand that the words were framed by the world of God. I wasn't there when the world was created. I'm not just taking the testimony of scriptures. Now. I believe that work God said. It is what it is. It's got assurance of faith. And the same thing was applied to salvation. If you have not come to that point where you know, like you know your name, that you are saved, it means there's something wrong with your discipleship, or there's something wrong with the salvation you received. Number two, there's their or hope. Every one of us here who is saved somewhere inside you you are looking forward to a glorious resurrection. I'm not saying somebody told you. You just know that one day you'll be with God. It's got the assurance of hope Hebrews six eleven. And we desire that every one of you do show the same diligence for the full assurance of hope onto the end. So there is an assurance of hope that the end will be glorious. That's why Paul was teaching. I think that's first the Salonians. Now, is it for seventeen or so? He said, we shouldn't mourn like those who are hopeless. Turteen to seventeen helped me with that scripture. He said, we should do mon as those so are hopeless. First Salonians four. Can we begin from thirteen? He said, But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them that are asleep, that you sorrow, not even as others which have no hope. So it's an assurance of hope. Next verse, except for if we believe that Jesus died and rose again. Even so, then also which them also will sleep in Jesus, will God bring with him? Next verse. Except for this we say unto. You by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain onto the coming of the Lord, shall shall not prevent them which are asleep. That means those who died first said they are asleep, because they really don't die. Except for the Lord himself should descend from heaven with a shout, and with the voice of the act injury, and with the trump of God, and the dead in Christ shall rise first. So those who died will rise first. Next verse, he said them, Then we which are alive and remain, shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. So shall we ever be with the Lord. So we know that there is glorification at the end. Next verse. Wherefore it's a comfort one another with these words, I told people when loved ones die, there's no way to pacify them, because when you lose somebody who dies who is dear to you, it's not just a feeling, it's a wait. So you can't say it is well. It's why it doesn't solve it. You can't say, please take her. You can't take hat. If you lose a loved one, it's a weight. But the only thing that can pacify you is to know that we we all rise again. It's just like if rapture happens, now all of us we go. So the reason they went ahead of you is because it's their time to go first. But you know that all of us are going to the same place. So we celebrate for them because they have gone to glory. We are coming. But the truth is that we all come. And this is also why we are not afraid of that first. If only in this life we have hope, we are all men most miserable. There's something working in you called the assurance of hope, the reason why you have fed beyond the grave, the reason why you believe that at the end of time you two be rising glory. It's a walking of the spirit caught the assurance of hope. And then that is what we call the assurance of understanding. These things are in you, but when you know it, it's better. You may not know what I've told you now, but somewhere in your heart you just believe in God. Somewhere in your heart you know the end is glory. Now when you now find it in scripture, you now understand it. You say, I knew this thing was so. Thank God, it is so. So that relaxation that understanding brings. It's also a type of assurance. And Collosians to this two it said that their heart might be comforted being knit together in love, and not to all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God and of the Father and of Christ. So every time you know it's really to attain that is said a consolation, it brings that consolation is the assurance for some of us. We know this thing enough to debate it, to argue it, and to stamp our feet that it is true. The reason is because beyond faith, beyond hope, there is understanding. So every Christian must know what I'm sharing now because it brings a dimension of assurance. These three assurances are called internal assurances of salvation. Anybody who is. Genuinely saved, most have the assurance of faith, most have the assurance of hope, most have the assurance of understanding. But it doesn't stop there. That are also external assurances. Now, these internal assurances are more, But I don't have time. To go. I said, this is not Bible school, because joy is one of them, Peace is one of them, rest is one of them. The testimony of the Holy goes within you is one of them. But I don't have the time. If you want to know more, go to school or spiritual foundations. External assurances number one the testimony of the world. The Bible said, we are saved if we believe in Jesus, and that he died for us, and that he rose from the dead. That's what the Bible says. And if the Bible said it is so, it is so because it is witty. It's superior to what I feel. Glory to God, see the way Paul puts it. First Corinthians fifteen, verse one to four. Assurance of scripture. So in case you have not yet understood the assurance of hope and faith. When they ask you, why do you think you are safe? Go to First Corinthians fifteen, from verse one to four. This is why I know I'm saved. More Over, brethren, I declare unto you the Gospel which I preach onto you, which also you received, and where in your stand verse two, by which also you are saved. The Bible say, I'm saved by believing the gospel. If you keep in memory that which I preach onto you, unless you have believed in vain, what is the gospel? For I deliver on to you first first of all that which I also received. How that Christ died for our scenes. So the Bible said the death of Christ. It's not martydo on the death of Christ is a substitutionary death. It died from my sin. That's why I know I'm saved according to the scriptures, and was buried and rose again the third day according to scripture. So why do you know you are saved? The Bible say, I'm saved. It's got external assurance, the testimony of scripture. First John five eleven to thirteen. We're quality all the time. This is the record. God has given you eternal life. And this life is in the song. Whoever has the song has life. These things have written on to you that believe on the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life. John three sixteen. For God soul loved the world that he gave. It's only begott in song that who's whoever believed to him should not perish, but have eternal life. So those who have eternal life don't perish. And the Bible said, I have eternal life because I believe in Jesus. That is my assurance. It's got the assurance of scripture. So these are the two major assurances of salvation. There is the assurance, the internal assurance, the border on faith, on hope, on understanding, on peace and joy, on rest in the Holy ghost. And then there's the external assurance the border on the testimony of scripture. That is also another one, the testimony of a Christian life. But I can't talk much on it, so let me allow it. What if you have said, it will show your life eternal life is not already is reality? First John three, verse seven, verse ten. The Bible told us clearly. Can we read it, Go to verse nine first First John three nine before you reach ten. Whosoever is born of God does not commit sin, for his seed remained in him, and he cannot sin because he is born of God. This is talking about spirit reality, because the Holy Gooes have sanctified your spirit and preserved it. But look at verse seven, look at verse seven before verse ten, First John three seven. Lead to children, let no man deceive you. He that do it. Righteousness is righteous. You know what he's saying here. If you have received righteousness, you should do righteous righteousness because you can't do righteousness. Until you receive righteousness. And so if you claim you have received righteousness, then let's see your righteousness in your righteous acts. He now add that if you are born of God, you don't see because you're cities in you don't invest ten. He made the final conclusion in this the children of God are manifested from the children of the devil. He said, whosoever do it righteousness, do it not. Righteousness is not of God. So Christian life, it's also a type of assurance. In fact, if you studied the Great Awakening that was championed by the lights of of of Jonathan Edwards Charles Finney, there were there were some articles they outline as proofs that you are saved, regeneration, repentance, and righteous lifestyle. And the only idea of. Regeneration is not that you just see it from scripture. They say, if you are regenerated, some things we show. Number one, you will love God so that they see your regeneration in your passion for God. If you are praying and you don't pray with intensity, they will suspect you that you are not saved because you can't love God and be look warm about God. Know that they shouldn't be encouraging you to pray. No, a man who is born and appectite wakes up inside him. He wants to pray because there's a drawing, and when he's praying, he prays energized. You don't find a regenerator person her father, because your love us we are here. No do you talk to your lover like that when you wanted to dad that sister. You know how you come. You all your senses were activated, yourselves, everything were aligned. My dear beloved. When I woke up this morning, I looked at the galaxies, they resembled your eyeball. But when you now came to God, he said, yes, Lord, you don't know what you're doing. If you are regenerated. They believe that persion for God wakes up. And they also believe that if you are regenerated, you will hate see because they don't believe that sin should be a matter of discipline from salvation to death. No, from when you were born to when you die. They believe that there should be something. He said, because thou love and righteousness are hated iniquity, so those who are born off God hates sin. But this is a generation where all of us attended. Everybody say, you know, it's something is wrong. That's why the God did their great awakening. You needed to enter where they were praying. It was like earthquake. You will see people. They had to teach people the Bible. They said, please that that's when they move or falling under the annointment became rampant. Somebody will be praying and we hit him like electricity. He will fall down, pray there, go on, conscious, wake up and step. They have to tell them that, okay, when the Word of God is going on, it's important to comport yourself for where when they are teaching, people are crying, people are welly, things are happening. They call that regeneration issues. But our own generation is theology. Everybody is a teacher, no body has experience. And we're arguing this is soutarier and so so it means you are saying flesh, pride, bitterness, arrogant, and we say we are teaching salvation. When I say, some people who say they are teaching salvation, and I'm wondering, do you know it with this bitterness, with this hatred, with this pride, is it salvation? Or you are teaching. Theology and that those who are regenerated, they believe they have passion to save God. If they still encourage you to save God. Ty, amen, that's the best. I can't say. Now, Glory to Jesus, so that these are their shortances on salvation. Now our time is up. Oh my Jesus, I need God to help me with the ability to teach. There's so much in my spirit. Well, there's no time losing my tongue. Father, give me skill, you skill. Will need skill to be able. Sometimes when I listen to some of our fathers, the volume of what they did in thirteen minutes and what they are they able to compress these things. Maybe text time. Let me list some of the debates, go and study it. When next I have time, I will deal with them. Some of the debates debates on the subject on the topic of salvation. Number one is predestination and free will. Number two is faith versus walks. Number three is once saved, always saved. Number four is the role of baptism in salvation. Number five is the scope or the extent of Atonement. Number six is grace versus human corporation. Number seven is the faith of the unevangelized, those who I've never had the Gospel. Are they're going to die? Number what now? Number nine or number eight the role of the Law and the Old Testament in the subject of salvation. Number what now the faith of other religions? Do we claim that only Christians. I said, do you know how many people in the world? Come on, the eight billion people in this world, Chris, there's a just two point six billion. Do you mean they remain in five points something billion are not saved? The power of this debate is not number, but studied, studied, it will bless you. So do I touch one. Or two? Are we shut down? Now? This is the last Bible study. I want you to be happy. If I want to do oh, it's there here till morning. The Bible study will become a vegi. Okay, let me touch one or two? Our list five? Pick two that you want me to touch? All right, our list five? Ai God a message. We need to go back to doctrine predestination versus three, whill one saved, always saved, the role of baptism in salvage faith versus one? And then the faith ate of other religion? Pick three. Let's deal with them quick, give me, give me, give me a pen personsonic. I'm hearing predestination and free will give me pen. I'm hearing one saved, others always saved. You will give me another forty minutes. You know I need to do a tooral walko, because if I do anything here tomorrow, you'll see it on the internet. Hey, how can he say this? So so predestination one saved, always saved faith of all the religions. So meya we add baptism because baptism is a huge debate. Ah, help me, Jesus, pray for me for one minute. Oha coleman nakaya zenzo frakido zacharatis ce selina. Okay, let's look at predestination and free will. What's that discussion about? What's that debate about? There are two major things that defines the debate of predestination and free will. Number one, it bothers on God's sovereignty in choosing who he wants to be saved and who he is actually choosing. And then number two, it bord on man's free will either to accept salvation or whether or not salvation was imposed or man, do you understand that God is sovereign? And because he's sovereign, is he the one who chooses whos to be saved? Those who are not saved? Is it that God didn't choose them? Is that why they are not saved? That's the debate. Then man has a free will if man has a free will. Is he safe because God imposed salvation on him? Or is he safe because he chose salvation? And what if he doesn't choose salvation, will God force it on him? This is what the debate is about, all right. So if you're studying, I took time to write notes too, so that because this is acessitive issues. If you study this subject, you will notice that in. The debate there are those who are four and they are those who are against insists that God is sovereign. So God is the one who predestinated those who are saved. Only those who God predestinated are saved. But it becomes tricky when they now add that those who are not saved are not saved because God did didn't predestinate them to be saved. That means God, in his sovereignty has the right to select from before the foundation of the world those who should be saved, and from the foundation of the world they are those rejected. So no matter what they do, they can't be saved because God didn't choose them. Are you following? And then those who believe in free will believe that you have the right to choose salvation, and you have the right to reject salvation because you have free will, all right, But we're also going to add those who are not saved, and they're not saved because God didn't choose them or because they rejected salvation. So let's look at scriptures first. Then we look at the logical analysis. For those who support predestination, that means those who say God is sovereign he choose those so as save, and those who are not safe are not saved because they were not choosing. These are the scriptures they used to support their argument Number one, Romance, eight, twenty nine, and thirty. Let's read them quickly. For whom he did fore no, so he knew from the foundation of the world. He also predestinated to be confirmed to the image of his son, that he might be the first born among many brethren. Moreover, whom he did predestinate, he called, whom he called, he justified, whom he justified, he glorified. So they said, those who are safe God knew, and God predestinated them to be saved. That's why they are saved. So don't blame those who are not saved. They were not choosing. So the whole effort of our evangelism is for those who God predestinated, but those who God did predecinated, don't waste your resources. Pretten to them is a waste of time. That's their position. Next tripto efficients one. That's four to five. For He chose us in him according as He has chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame in Him in love. John six forty four. If having predestinated us onto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself according to the good pleasure of his will, not our will, John six forty four. John six forty four. No man can come to me except the Father which had sent me, draw him and a well raise him on the last day. Are you seeing Scriptures? Acts thirteen forty eight. There's a spot speaking now, Act thirteen forty eight. And when the Gentiles had this, they were glad and glorified the word of the Lord. And as many as were ordained to eternal life believed. Does it all look like what they said is true? That means poup pretty to the whole gentis. But only those who were or deigned for eternal life believed and were said. That means if you were not ordained. According to this debate, if we like which you all they are, person should gather together and be preaching ones you will not believe because you are not ordained. These are the scriptures that formed these foundations, and finally Romance nine sixteen. So then it is not of him that will it, nor of him that run it is a but of God that showed mercy. And there is a movement, or there are many movements that support this. I give you one of it. It's called Calvinism. There is the major leading theological movement that supports this position, and Calvinism emphasizes cause, absolute sovereignty in salvation. And this whole movement is summarized in an acronym called to leap and tu lip simply means the T stands for torta depravity, the U stands for unconditional election, the el stand for limited atonement, the eyes stand for irresistible grease, and the P stands for perseverance of the saints. What does tull it mean? Total depravity is an argument that the impact of seeing on man was so heavy that, as it is now, there's nothing man can do for himself. In fact, man cannot even desire salvation. That's the level of depravity of man, and they have scriptures to support it. Romance three ten to twelve. As it is written, there's non righteous, No, not one. There's non righteous. He said, there is none that understand that. There's none the secret after God verse twelve. They are all gone out of the way. They are together become unprofitable. There is none that do it good, No, not one. So they said, this deprivity on the soul of man is so much that he can't save himself. He doesn't desire servation, he doesn't desire God. They call it total depravity. That means if you live man to himself, man can never choose God. I don't argue much with this, but let's go farther. You will see where it becomes extreme. Then ness is you on conditional election. God chooses who he wants to be saved by his own will, not human effort or not human thought or human desire efficience one Verst. Four. We read that already look at the way the Bible puts it, according as they are choosing us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and be without blame before Him in love. You know Jesus said, you have not choosen me, I have choosen you. So according to this debate, you're sure you're choosing has nothing to do with you. You just came into it. So you were manipulated into salvation, that's what they said basically. So that means whether you wanted it or not, one way or the order would have been saved because God already choose you. And when I look at irresistible grace you, we know that you could not have rejected salvation. That's where these debates get complex. They say you can't reject it so long as God has already choosen you. So there is total depravity, there's unconditional election, and then limited atonement. It's where my problem with this argument begins from. They say christ atonement, it's not for everybody, it's only for those. That God has already choosing to be saved. That means if you were not choosing for salvation, there's no need for Jesus wasting his blood for you. That's a waste of precious resources of the spirit realm. That means the blood of Jesus didn't capture you. So if you like cry, even if you say I believe in Jesus, you can't be saved. That's what it means. So in case we preach the Gospel to you and maybe you you're suddenly God thoughts and you say, okay, I believe in Jesus, forgive me my saves. You can be saved because the blood of Jesus didn't cover for you. So they call it limited atonement. That's Covini. This is these are the things that shape this world though. This is how regid it is. And this is where my problem with them began from. I'm not troubled with the depravity of man. The Bible say all we like ship have gone away astray. It's a one way. Yet sein as Christ died for us, and the scripture paintered clearly no one is righteous, no one seek God, no one is good. So I'm not against that's okay. I'm not even against election God's unconditional election, because I mean, who was reasoning when he was a legend. But I have a problem when you tell me the blood of Jesus does not cover the whole world. So what do we do with John three sixteen. For God's soul love the world that they gave. It's only be good in soul. What do we do with that? What do we do with titles two A level? The grace of God that bringers salvation has appeared to all men. If God's death was for fe why did salvation appear to all Why did Jesus die for the whole world. That's why we have a problem. And you know why they argue like this. They argue like this because they believe that grace is irresistible. That if you were choosing you most received. That means whether you were preached to or you were not preached to, before you die, one day you must turned up and say Jesus be my lord. So if men don't preach to you, ants may show up. Nature something must lead you to salvation because we are being captured and grace will force you. So salvation is not about. Your will anymore. Your will has been excused, is irresistible, whether you like it or not. If God choose you, you are saved. You must be saved. So wees worship. And if God on the minds man's will in salvation, how can creation hold Because everything in creation rights on the premise of man's will. So while we got excuse man's will in salvation, and then man's will will now hold in every other aspect of his life. So it's an inconsistent argument. But they have a position John six thirty seven irresistible grace is all that the Father has given to me shall come to me, and him that come to me, and we know whi it is cast away. All that the Father has given to me shall do what shall come. Nothing can stop them. They must come. So whether they will it or they don't will it, they must call. So this argument necessitates that your will is over reading in salvation and that the blood of Jesus is not for the whole world, is only for those that God points for salvation. And then finally they said perseverance of the saints. Since God is the only one responsible for salvation, there's nothing you can do to lose it. So it is this movement and many like it, that better on't save always saves because they believe that you didn't you were choosing. It has nothing to do with your will. Because you were choosing, you carry jack salvation. And if you carry Jack salvation, you can't lose it. So you see that some of these debates we have actually as standing on forty foundations perseverance of the Saints Philippians one the six Jude twenty four. It's a big confident of this verity that he which has begune a good work in you with performed till the day of Jesus Jude one, twenty four. Unto him that is able to keep you from falling. So they said, the perseverance of the saints has nothing to do with his corporation. He has nothing to do with his submission to God. It has everything to do with god sovereignty. So, as far as they are concerned, the whole equation of salvation gods on God's sovereignty. He elected you. You couldn't do anything about your sins. Because He elected you. You can't reject him. Your will is not a factor the blood of Jesus. It's not for the whole world. It's only for those God has already choosen. Because if God choose people, why we leave west his blood on those he didn't choose, knowing that they won't be saved. And then, if God is the one who choose you, who served you without your contribution, how can you lose it when you didn't have any contribution in being safe? This is God the convincy movement, and this movement is what supports prey ordination or what we call predestination. Glory to God. But if a Bible students, you already know that they are deficiencies. They're already deficiencies. But outside predestination, there is also the argument of free will. So those who argue for predestination, they argue against free will. Those who argue for free will, they argue against predestination. The reason why you can't take either side is because there is a part of salvation that is occasioned by predestination. That's why I showed you the whole protocol. There's a part of salvation that is occasioned by God's sovereignty, but there's also a part of salvation that necessitates. Your own contribution. That's why I also showed you how the means of salvation and the program of salvation, so that you can tell God's work, which is actually the whole work, and then your own corporation, which is to receive. Because God does not force anything on anybody. He's not a demo. He won't give you free will if it doesn't respect it. But before I go into my own so nessis let's look at the argument for free wheel and then look at one movement that supports free wheel. Not who argue the man's free will is necessary in salvation. And again note when they say man's free will is necessary, they are not saying man paid the price for his salvation. They are just saying man's corporation is required to receive this salvation Jesus paid for. If I buy a car, I see you tracking, I say it's not good for you to track. I go, I sort out the car, pay for the car, bring it to you. You can't say we bought the car. He didn't, but I we need you to receive it for it to be yours. You get that. So free will is not suggesting. That you paid for your salvation. It's only suggesting that your will is needed for you to receive it. So those who argue for free will, let me show you what they say and also show you their own a little bit of extrame. Number one. Those who argue for free will has scriptures to support. Let's get the scriptures. First. John three sixteen, For God sol love the world, that he gave it's only begotten song. So he gave his song for everybody but see the caveat whosoever believed in him should not perish. The Bible, they say, for Gosl love the world that they gave his only begotten song, that the world should not perish. For Gosl love the world that he gave It's only begot his son, that whosoever believed to him. So they said, you have to believe and choose God for you to receive some So your will has a part to play glory to Jesus. Revelations twenty two, verse seventeen. He said, the Spirit and the bride say come, And now added, let the one who wishes take the free gifts of the water of life. The Spirit and the bride say, come, and let him that hear it, say come, let him that is a test, come and whosoever will let him take the water of life freely. So they believe that you can't receive salvation or anything from God if your will is not exercised. Second Peter threey nine. He said, the Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men counts slackness. He said, but it's long suffering to us word, not. Willing, not willing that anyone should perish but that all shall come to repentance. What is this scripture saying that means the will of God is not for any body to perish. Now, if people are perishing, it means. God it's not forcing salvation on people, because if it doesn't, will that any you perish. And if it's forsting salvation of people, nobodies who perish. So they said, God's will is involved. And if God subjects it to the will, then even though as soon God are personal for salvation, can choose to reject it. So they argue, so will and argue against predestination. And finally. They said, even the foundations of all the foundations of truth, the precedence of truth suggests that God never forces anything on people Joshua Twentyvolve fifteen. They said, choose this day. Choose this day for yourself, whom you reserve, So God does not first thing some people. That's the precedents, seeing scripture as touching his other dealings with his children. Now there is a movement that advances. Free will. And that movement there are many, actually, but I pick two major ones is god and minialism. This is the movement that supports or postulates the position of free will in salvation, and this. Is their position. Number One, humans have the ability to accept or reject salvation, whether they were predestinated to be. Saved or not. Number two, they speak. Of conditional election, and their argument is that God's election is based on God's fore knowledge. And their argument as touching for knowledge, is that God already knows who we be saved, and so because God knows who we be saved, that was why God predestinated them to be saved. So if four people are sitting in front here, Pastor Jaffet, Pastor Godwin, my dear sister, Pastor Lockie, and Sister Phoebe, they are sitd in front, assuming I'm God. I wanted them to come to the altar to meet me here, but I already know that if I said, come up, Sister Phoebe and Pastor Godwin, we use the right, and I already know that Pastor Jaffet and Pastor Lockey we use the left, no matter what they tell them, because I already know the end from the beginning, they chance or the room here will not be for four anymore. I will make it for two, because I already know that too, we reject the call to come here, that's the argument of predestination. That predestination is not an act of God's wickedness. Predestination is an act of God's fore knowledge. God knows everybody who we hear the gospel, and he knows those who we accepted those who we rejected. So he provided only for those who we accept the gospel. That's what they argue for. But that argument is also limited because the Bible didn't tell us that God provided salvation only for those that were predestinated. He said, the grace of God that bringers salvation appeared to all men. He said God loved the world that he gave. It's only the God and sound. So the argument is logically sound, is morally sound. It shows that God is not wicked, but it's inconsistent with scriptures. Are you seeing this? These are some of the little little things here and there Number three on limited atonement. These people argue for predestination, Yet they also argue against limited atonement. They say Christ died for the whole world, not just for those God predestinated. If that's the case, why are you now saying that predestination is a function of fore knowledge. So you see that even within the argument there's a contradiction. So these are some of the things that theologians have been dealing with. And then they also talk about resistible grace. And the idea of resistible grace is that or dough God choose you to be saved, you can reject it Acts seven fifty one. See the way the Bible puts it. It say yes stiff net and on circumcis in the heart and ears. They say, you do always resist the holy gooes as your fathers did, so do ye. So they said that grace can be resisted. That means a man can reject servation even if you was predestinated. And finally they spoke of conditional security, and the idea behind conditional security. Is that believers can fall away. They advocate for apostasy, and the scripture the use is Hebrews six, verse four to six, that a believer can fall. Don't tell me a believer cannot fall, except for it is impossible for those who were once enlightened and have tested of the heavenly gift and were made partecers of the holy ghosts. Does this look to you like somebody who is. Saved partecers him that is joined to the Lord is one spirit partecers of the Holy Ghost next verse and have tested of the good world of God and the power of the age to come. That's the Holy ghosts, the manifestation of the Spirit next verse. If they shall fall away, to renew them again onto repentance, seeing they crucified to the Self, the Son of God afresh and put him to an open share. Say, it's difficult. So those who argue for well, their focus is to argue against predestination, and those who argue against predestination, their. Focus is to argue for weed. Those who argue for predestination, their focus is to argue against your will. And because of that all of them drift into error. This is why when you are doing Bible exagesis your focus is not to counter somebody. It will make you go extreme. Your focus should be too with an open heart, by the help of the Holy goos inter scripture, following the principles of Bible interpretation. So those who are in today and nealism movement are trying to counter Calvinism, and those why Calvinism are trying to counter those why, and that's where the problem comes from. Now there are other movements that came later that wanted to give us an average position. There too became wrong because they were not arguing the scripture as it is as it is. They were trying to give a balance. God predestination, but man can also use this freeview. God can keep you from falling, but you can also fall. So their whole argument is about mediocrity, about average, and if you look at it critically, there are places where they become wrong. Christ provided is blood for all, but his blood is for those who are saying, you know, it can't work anymore. So you find move like monanism. There are many moves like that. They try to bring average. So what's the point here. The point is for you to look at what is clear in scripture and adopt it. So, if you ask me, I'm not for convinism, I'm not for amnianism. What is my position? I believe in predestination. I believe in predestination because I know God. God knows all things, and God provided for us before we were born. God is not irresponsible. In fact, before we go to eternity, Jesus has already made provision. So it's in God's nature before man came to it. God provided goding. It's in God's nature to provide before he creates. So I believe in predestination, but I don't believe that God only provided for those who knew we be saved. I believe God provided for everyone that came into this world. But at the same time, I know that those who are not saved, they are not saved, not because God didn't provide, neither because God did reached them. It's actually because they rejected God. So both predestination and free we can work together. But it is also not the average, because there is a place where predestination is true but free we is wrong. So I'm not taking average. I'm just interpreting context by context. Predestination is God providing for all, not for song. Free we you accepting what God provided. That is my disposition. And then I go to the second place, which is what can man do about the salvation? Man can't do anything about the salvation because even if he tried, what it does will not be accepted. Nonetheless, after God has done everything for man's salvation, man must accept salvation, and in accepting salvation, he must take the responsibility of repentance and faith in God to receive salvation. So man has a responsibility. But that responsibility is not to provide, is to receive. So I'm not going to be standing in the position of to deprivity by saying man played no role in salvation. No man played the role. His role is just that he didn't provide, but he received. Because if you don't repent, if you don't believe in Christ, you cannot be saved. So when you hear the gospel, the gospel activates in you the ability to believe God and the desire to choose God. And it is that ability that you used to accept salvation. So I believe that man couldn't have saved himself, but I know that although he couldn't save himself, if it doesn't repent, and if it doesn't accept salvation, he cannot be saved. Then I come to atonement. I don't believe in an limited atonement. I believe the blood of Jesus is for everybody. What are those who are perishing and those who are saved? I believe that, But at the same time, I believe that if you don't accept Jesus, that blood won't profit you. Are you following this? I don't believe in irresistible grace. I believe grace is provided for all, but at the same time, I believe that you must accept for grace to be relevant to you or to be useful in your life. So when you look at the scriptures carefully and you'll gather these arguments, you will notice that on some point you believe in convinism, on some point you believe in Amnianism. And then you also discover that even some things you believe in Covinism, you believe them to an extent. So, for instance, you believe in predestination, that means you stand with Calvinism. But although you believe in predestination, you don't believe that predestination is only for those God know we besived. And then on another side, you believe in resistible grace. So it looks like you have left Covinism. But although you believe in resistible grace, you don't believe it the way these people said it. That's why you have to take time to examine the scripture. And if you're dealing with these things, you must interpret them in light of scripture. Interpret predestination, interpret atonement, interpret man's depravity, interpret God Jesus is atonement, and interpret your. Interaction with grace only based on crypture. I believe in predestination, but in predestination I believe it's for everybody to be saved, not that God chooses some and left some. I believe in mans deprivity, but in mans deprivity, I believe that he couldn't do anything about his procuring salvation, but it must accept salvation to be saved. I believe in atonement, but I don't believe in limited atonement. I believe Jesus provided for everybody that came into the world. Nonetheless, if you don't accept Jesus, that atonement is useless for you. I believe in resistible grace. What do I mean? Grace can be resisted, but I also believe that grace is powerful enough to convince you and to impart in you the ability to choose God so or do. A man can resist grace, but Grace has the power. To make him accept Christ. Because I've gone how to preach, I've seen many people who reject Jesus. But over time, as God kept visiting them with his love, with his mersive, with his kindness, as the Word of God kept coming, as they kept having encounter, a point came where they eventually accepted Jesus. So chrace can be resisted, but grace is powerful enough to convict even the worst amongst us. So this is how you intero prescripture. The problem we have to date is that we are not inter scripting scriptures in light of scriptures. We're interpretty scriptures to counter opposing positions, and the moment to do that, you'll be in error. So don't operate like that. Glory to God. So this is predestination and free wi you. Ah, maybe we do one save, always save later, but if you have heard what I've said, you should have some inferences. But let me show you the argument for one save and the argument against for one safe, always saved, and the argument against one save always save. Write it down, Go and do your conclusion, and revert back to me. There are four major arguments. Those who support one saved always say four major arguments. Number one, this says salvation is God's work, not man's work. Now you will notice also that anybody who adopts the perspective of Calvinism were naturally tilled towards one save, always saved. Anybody who adopts the position and perspective of Arminianism will naturally till towards those who are against Word's safe always saved. But again I don't advise you taking those positions into prescriptions. So those who believing one save always say this is their position. Salvation is God's work, not man's work. John ten, twenty eight, twenty nine Philippians one, verse six. Jesus was speaking, say I give on to them eternal life, and they shall never perish. He said, no one will snatch them out of my hands. This is Jesus speaking twenty nine. My father, which gave them to me, is greater than all, and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hands. So they are saying this assurance is based on God's power and authority. It is not about man to be able to lose or keep. Is Christ and the Father that keeps it. Philippians one six said the good work that God has begun in you, he will finish it. So their first argument is that salvation is God's walk. He's the one who keeps you, so you don't keep yourself to lose yourself in salvation. Number two, eternal life means. Eitana is not temporal, so they say, what God gave us is eternal life. It's not temporal life. So the very nature of the world, dey find that the process is not one that should be lost. So this is the argument these people subscribe to, and the are scriptures to it. Romance eleven twenty nine. The gifts and the callings of God are without repentance. Ephicients one to eighteen and fourteen. He said, God see you those with the holy goes of promise. So God created an insurance system because eternal life is eitana. If it were temporar, then we say, well, can you lose it? But since it's eitana, the very nomenclature, the epistemology of the subject matter negates the possibility of losing it. Number three, they said justification is final. God didn't come to court to declare you justified, to go back and change his mind. Later they said justification. Came after predestination, for knowing, calling, after forgiveness, after receiving internal life. That's the conclusion of the matter. It's like the case has ended. This is final verdict, so they won't go back. And this is Supreme Court. So Supreme Court does not end the matter. You bring it back. Do you understand this is what they're saying. Justification is the final verdict in the highest court in all the universe. So the case cannot be be is I repeald you call it now? It can be revisited. Romans at thirty him that they justified, he glorified. So the moment you have justified, you entered, you have entered glorification. There's no reversa. That's the argument. Are you saying that these are compelling arguments? Then number four they said, the sacrifice of Gus is sufficient. How can Jesus come down from heaven? Jesus dies, Jesus sheds his blow, Jesus goes to heaven. Then you now lose. This thing has been bought and bought completely. So their argument is number one, God sovereignty. Number two eternality or the eternal nature of salvation. Number three the finality of justification. And number four the sufficiency of Jesus is sacrifice. He Bruce ten fourteen. For by one sacrifice he has made perfect forever. Are you seeing by one sacrifice he has made what perfect forever? Then that are sientified? So you have been as far as God is concern, you are being perfected forever, so your past, present, and future scenes are forgiven so that there's not coming back. And to add again, salvation is regeneration. Salvation is not moved from death to life. Move from here to here. Your nature is changed. If you were caught into you can be kicked out. But they say this thing is regeneration. You took God's nature. So with this five very strong argument, they believe that wants it is what always say. God is sovereign. He keeps you so nothing can take you out of his hand. Salvation is a tanner by reason of the name, and the nature is not something that is temporary, so it can be lost. Justification is china, so you can be justified and beyond justified. The sacrifice of Jesus is sufficient, and then you are generated. You are not just giving something that you lose. You were changed into another man. You carry God's DNA now glory tod. And to support this argument, they said that was why God kicked them out of the garden, because if the ight of that three eternal life is finality glory to God, so it's sovereignty, eternality, finality of justification, sufficiency of Christ, sacrifice and the potency of regeneration. This is the argument for one saved always save. Now let's look at the argument against Number one is warning against a postasy. So those who say one saved is not always saved, they said, the Bible gives warnings against a postasy Hebrews six four to six, second Peter two twenty two. I've read this already, for it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, having tasted of the heavenly gift, were made by takers of the Holy ghost verse five, and have tasted of the good word of God and the powers of the age to come, if they shall fall away, renewing them again onto repentance. If they shall fall away to renew them again onto repentance, you know, he said already that they will be what impossible. So they argue that there's a warning second Peter to twenty twenty two. But it is happened onto them according to the true proverb. The dog is turned to his own vomit again, and the soul that was washed to how wallowing in the man No start from verse twenty. For if after they have escaped the pollution of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and savior Jesus Christ. They are again and good, daring and overcome. He said, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning twenty one, for it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness than after they have no need to turn from the holy commandment delivered onto them. So he's saying, these people, they have known the way of righteousness. If they know the way of righteousness, they timber. They are state to be worse. So this is warning against a postess. And these guys are saying, if God is warning us like this, it means it's possible to lose it. The second argument they have is every most times now you see salvation. Salvation comes with conditional statements. John fifteen, verse six. If you do not remain in me, this is Jesus speaking. Let's start from verse five John fifteen, five and six. I am the vine. You are the branches. He that abided in me, and I in him, the same bringers forth much fruit. For without me you can do nothing. If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch and is withered. And men gather them and cast them into the fire, and they are born so Jesus was talking to his own people. If you abide in me, you will flourish. If you don't abide in me, you shall be cast into the fire, and you shall be born Colosians. One twenty three. Colosians one twenty three. If you continue in the faith, grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel which you have heard word and which was pread to every creature which is under heaven, whereof I Paul I am made a minister. If you continue, so, you see that every time they speak of salvation, there is always a condition. If you read from Bestbunity to his clara. If you continue twenty one, and you that were sometimes elienated and enemies in your mind by wicked walks. Yet now had he word reconciled in the body of his flesh, true death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreprovable in his sight. You see what he said. He now added, if you continue, so he represent you holy, unblameable, and unreprovable. If you continue, so they said, if salvation is always giving me condition, then be careful. Look at first current fifteen from verse one and two. So you see that the argument for one safe, always saved is stronger is Clara. But the weight of the warnings is too heavy for you to just jump and swallow it. That's why I told you when I started, you have not gone to eternity before. Be careful. We are all interpretting eternity from the window of scripture. So nobody is you interpreted as if he has entered heaven and he has seen the head. You are not Omega, myrov brethren. I declare onto you the gospel which I preach onto you, which also you have received, and wherein you stand verse two, by which also you are saved. If you want keep in memory what I preach onto you. Unless you believe in then you are saved. If you are saved if you are presented only if you are presented unreprovable. If so, these people are in that one serve is not always saved, as saying, if salvation promises comes with conditions, then those conditions are a strong statement that if. Later then salvation can be hampered. So the first argument is warnings that the Bible gives against a postasy. The second argument is that salvation mostly comes with condition and statements The tord. Is the argument that they have for man's free will. If you use your free will to receive it, they argue that you can also use your free will to reject it. Galatians five to four. Now this is part talking to believers who are adopting legalism. So Pauler was talking to them. It's a crime. Rist has become to you of non effect. Whosoever of you are justified by the law. They say you are falling away from Greece. You choose Christ by faith. You know it started in chapter three, verse one, or foolish Galatians, who has bewitched you? So these guys accept that Christ put fath in Christ. Now they're also using the law to justify themselves. So a point is telling them, if you want to use the law to justify yourself, not your fath in Christ's say you have received Christ in vain, It's say you have also fallen away from Greece. So a point is telling us, the same way you use to put your fath in Christ, if you put it in other things, you can lose what you have. And you say that most people who believe in one self always said want to argue these scriptures away that's where the risk comes in. These one is are too heavy. You try to use the intelligence to argue it away. So there are class creatures that shows their security and the eternality of salvation. But there are also warnings that you can't put away. Finally, those who argue for one save always say. Argue against one save always say. Give biblical examples of a postasy people who are falling away Second Timoltive fourteen John twelve to twenty five. Quickly, second Timulitive, he said, for Damas had forsaken me, having loved this present world and departed on two Thessalonica. Now, when somebody loves this world, what does that mean? The love of the Father is not in him? One John two fifteen to seventeen. Dead that love the world, the love of the Father is not in them. And if the love of the Father is not in you, you don't have God. Are you seeing? Are you seeing this? So this guy is on his way to a postasis. So the Bible shows that a postessis possible. But if you want to argue this away Firstimoy one nineteen and twenty also shows us a posted FIP brethren holding faith and a good conscience, with some having put away concerning faith, have she pragged their faith? Some people she pragged their faith, they lose their faith in God. Now verse twenty, of whom high mannails and Alexander, whom I have delivered on to certain that they may learn not to blasphere, that they may learn not to blasphere. So people get into a postasy to blasphemy. And I read to you already where Jesus was speaking, that every scene a man commits to be forgiving me, except the scene against the Holy ghost. So when you see the work of the holy ghosts and you ascribe it to another spirit, you are blasphered. Are you saying that? So what is my point? When you look at this script you are going to see that both arguments are strong. They are very very strong. What Bible teachers want to do is that those who argue for don't just argue for. They want to counter the argument against, to make it look as if that's not what the Bible is. Say, that's wrong, that's an error. And those who argue against, they want to counter every scripture that the argument for postulate. That's also not possible because it's too clear. And then when you look at this subject. Two of them can't go exist. You can't say salvation is a turner, and at the same time you say salvation is not eurner. It will be too sharp a contradiction. So what position should they genuine Christian substry to. I believe God can save me. I believe my salvation is a turner. But I will not be reckless because the one things are too heavy. The warnings are too heavy, and no body has gone to eternity to see the end to come and tell me to neglect these warnings. That's why for me, in order to be safe, if you ask me tomorrow, I will hide under. One save may not be always saved. I know the argument for one save always save is very strong and clear, but I can't undermine the warnings that the Bible gives. They are too heavy. So in order for me to take caution, why I believe God can keep me. I will not be reckless in my doctrine or in my lifestyle because I don't want to go to heaven and now be surprised that actually one save is not always saved. It will be too late a time to realize. So I believe with all my heart. The argument for are too clear, too strong. I believe in the power of the Holygood. That's why I showed you a show answers of servation, but internal next Tanner. But I will not be reckless. I will take cassion. I will take cassion. I will take causion. I will take caution. I know what the debates against and for I know what the argument to counter the scripture. You know all the scriptures have told you for their debates to counter them. I'm not the scriptures I gave you for against their debates to counter them. I don't want to go into that. Their service will be too long. So I know those debates, but I choose to take casson. The only person that would have told me to adopt one it's somebody that is Alpha Omega. But unfortunately the scriptures we have here all from the holies with it. So I won't take one position and leave the other. And if I must take one position, I will take the one that soges caution and the one that so just caution is once saved, it is not always say be careful, be careful. I don't want to discover it in the forgive me if your position is contrary, this is my soul. This is what as a teacher of the world of God. I've shown you all the position, but this is my soul. So I don't want to be taken by surprise when we stop here. For those of you who say how bad all that religion in a revelation is progressive. If you read Roman chapter one, I think from verse nineteen to twenty, the Bible said, those who don't have the law, he said, their conscience is there to judge them. But if you not move to asks of their apostles, the Bible said, before now God was linient with people, but now he commands men, all men, to be saved and to come to the. Knowledge of the truth. And what is the truth? John seventeen seventeen sanctified them with thy world. Thy word is Truthesus is the truth. And Jesus said John fourteen, verse six, I am the way it is a I am away. If Jesus said I am away, then I would have said, maybe those of other religion, if they work good, if they do right, just there they might what Jesus said, I am the way, I am the truth, I am the life. In latter times or in former times. Now God overlooks, but now commands all men to repen and come to the knowledge of the truth. So my position is, if you don't know Jesus, you will go to hell. That's why, as much as the Holy goes empowers me, I pray the gospel Passionately. God dealt with men true conscience. God dealt with men. But all of those men, they didn't even go to the Father. We saw in the Parable of the Rich Food in Luke sixteen that there was a paradise that God created and waited for men to hear the Gospel and scriptures told us in first Pita three, I think verse nineteen he said, when Jesus died, he preached to those in the grave info from the days of Noah and Paul. Talking in Ephicians four, he told us from verse eight that he left captivity captive and two captives in his strength. So there's the possibility that those who were doing good walks, those who were living by good conscience, Jesus spoke to them. Please check those scriptures, that's read them. I think first pit that three nineteen he said he pricked to those who went to the other side, help me, help me, except by which also he went and preached onto the spirits in prison. How do I know these are those who died before Christ? I know because efficients for it. See what it says. Give me the newer translation. Let's not do captivity captives. Let's be clear, either an ivy or tipty the personal translation. This is why I say, when he has sended on high, he took many captives and gave gifts to men. He took many captives. Next verse, Come on verse nine, what does he what does he has sended me? Except that he descended to the lower eight region first, So where did he get the captivity from captives. From from the lower Earth region? Next verse he also descended to the very one who has sended higher than all heavels. So he has sent that. But he descended first to the lower Eth region. That's what first pace that three nineteen called the prison. So those who were in Paradise were the ones is pretty too. And when Jesus resurrected the Bible said they saw some prophets in Jerusalem, so man came with you. He delivered them. So those who didn't know Jesus, those who didn't hear the gospel, but lived right like we saw in Luke sixteen in the pariple of the ritual. God didn't throw them to her. He kept them waiting for Christ. And when Christ came, he preached to them in the grave, I am the Son of God, I am the source of life. I am the Word to the Father. And those who believed the Bible said, he delivered them from that prison. So Abraham Bosom, it is no longer there. They have left there. We are there. Absence from the body is presence with the Lord. They are with the Lord in the spirit. So I know they have been delving. Nobody's going to Abram Bosom anymore. That place is no longer elevant. It was relevant until Christ care. God gifted it to Abraham because it's the pony of it, and fact is the only means to salvation in Christ. So Abraham was giving a promise re note. And you know, Jesus said, Abraham, your father saw my day and rejoiced in it. So it was illigal in the spiry to condemn them. So God promised them that the Messiah is coming. But the Messiah is not only for those who are lied. He went to the grave and preached to everybody who, according to Romance one nineteen and twenty had good conscience who did righteous works. But that error has passed. Now he said, God commands all men to repent and come to the knowledge of the truth. And Jesus said, I am the Way, I am the Truth, I am the Life. So if you don't know Jesus, if you like, it should be ten billion they will perish. For God soul of the world that he gave. It's only the God and soul that whosoever believed to him should not perish. So if you don't believe that Jesus is the son of God, you with perish. And don't tell me about number. In the days of Noah. The whole world has already been jorged because of one man. So it's not a number thing. It's reality in the spirit. That's why God sent apostles, same prophets, send evangelists, sen pastors, same teachers. That is not enough. He now sent every other believer. So the moment to believe pre to somebody. He said in Second Corentius five seventeen, whoever is in Christ, Jesus is a new creature. All things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new he said, for God was in Christ reconciling the world to himself as nineteen, not imputing their trustmas against them. But he gave them the world of reconciliation. So anybody who is reconciled is commissioned. That's why the Church or the Last Day is not the church of gathering in Church is the church. Of entering the world. It's all power in heaven and on eth has been given to me. Go to all the wars and disciples, all nations. And this is why God will be ten with you if you don't win. Soules first said, I have pree to you the whole counsel of God. I've delivered myself of your blood. So if you are saying, if you don't know Jesus, you'll go to her us all know it's a responsibility that the only way they will know Jesus is when you preach the Bible said in Acts tent from Vest thirteen. Now, whoever calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Is about how can they call upon this name? Accept they believe? How can they believe except that's a preacher. This is why you must become a preacher. I'm not saying you are there the five foot Melissa. But preach the gospel, because God behold you responsible if you don't so, I said, fearful thing. When people go to hair hope, they are not the ones I should have pretty to that went, that's the question you should ask yourself. But here this. I love every religion. I respect every religion. But my Bible said, Jesus is the only way. He's the absolute truth, and his life betternal. So if you don't hear Jesus, you don't know truth. If you don't receive eternal life, you are in death and you can never see the Father. This is why we preay the gospel. Again, somebody may be offended. This is not my opinion. This is what the Bible says. Before now, nature preach to people. Before now, God us good conscience. But all of that he permitted it because the song was coming. When the song came, he went to the prison and preached to all spirits there that believe. He let the captives out so that they can be with him. And then he said, now that that has happened, he commands all men to repent and come to the knowledge of the truth. And the truth is not an idea. It's a person. His name is Jesus. So salvation is only in Christ. In fact, Peter was preaching, he said, there is no salvation in any order. Is that as fortweth help me with scriptures now as forthwealth. This is Bible talking. Neither is their salvation in any order, for there is none or that name on that heaven. Keith foon among men we are by we must be saved. Any preacher who tells you today that there are other ways to salvation, he lied to you, and he is the son of the devil. He doesn't know what he's saying. He is there is in many we go to her. There's no other name on that heaven by. Which given among men. For men to be saved tonight you must make a commitment to evangelize the gospel. Don't let anybody who knows you go to her. If they do, let it be by their free will. But it shouldn't be that they met you and went to her. The testimony of the God smooth and the testimony of sound righteous leaving should bring them to Christ. Can we pray now, yeah, shoe. Were shoo, Yes, s le shoes. He and they were Jesus, please believe this the. Even if maybe you are doing your business, you now discover yourself in Saudi Arabia and they point the gun on your head. Are you saying it's only Jesus? Are you say we will go to her? If the spirit of Martidom doesn't come on you, I hope if you don't find yourself there, and if you do, I hope the spirit of Marti don't come. But if he doesn't come, I'm afraid. But the Bible say, fear him that destroy both the body and soul. I'm not the one that destroy only the body. Yes, Jesus is the only way. Don't change your conviction. Don't change your conviction. Don't change your You know, I pray, I tell Jesus deliver me from if don't let me fall in the hand of any man. But when I pray that prayer, I also tell Jesus, but if I have to wi bless to you with my life, give me grace to stand see that. Yeah, it's not I'm a strong man. It's not. It's a Spiritus, the baptism of Martydom. I'm telling you it's not. Just No. If you'll see that, if that spirit doesn't come on you, you'll be shocked. You're with bad like a child. So don't be proud about it. But pray deliver me from evil. But what if I have to witness to you with my life, caust me to keep my conviction. Don't let me back down. You walk into heaven girlankly, with the crown of life. Poor said, I die daily. Jesus said that we arrest you after ten days, that we kill you, he said, But don't be afraid. You will receive the crown of life. Poor said, I have fought a good fight. I have kept the faith. He said, there remained for me a crown of life. Say there is a realm of crowns. It's for witnesses. Witnesses who are not just podcasts, but they die daily. That's why I tell people self denial was become part of your life, because if you don't even have chrace, what self denial is? In Machidon? You have graceful Can we pray for one minute the. Grace to preach this gospel the Christ to provide salvation to a dying world. Hello Him, Madna, Hello Him Mana, Hello Him Dona, Thank your father. Can you leave your right hand, and make commitment to Jesus. I will preach the gospel. I will be an agent of salvation all my life, all my life. Hear me, there are three ways. It's by prayer. With pray. Men into this kingdoms it if our gospel be hed, it is see to them that are lossom they thought of this world has blinded their mind. Let this you see and. Received the glorious Gospel, which is the image of the invincible Gold. The way you unfaire them is by prayer, my little children, of whom I travel again in prayer. Until christis from the youth, so that one of the words. Is by prayer. The second way is by going now to preach. It's a necessity's led up on me. War want to be If I preached on the gospel, I've communicated to you the counsel of God. I'm delivered of your blood. The third way is by giving your resources. Let your money go to the gospel, the cause of the gospel. Your money is not man only for food, clothe and shelter. When people come into this kingdom, let it be registered that you give towards it. The Bible said some women look at three and said they gave their resources to the fortunes of the gost. You think Jesus streach because it was the word of God. It was ponsor ry out my kingdom to prosperity, which I had this bread up. Brother. So when I said, Lord, make me an agent, I know what I'm saying. Give me the grace to prey and pad souls. Give me the fortitude to preach the gospel in a convicting manner. And Lord, give me the fortitude to deploy. My resources for the gospel. The gospel is not spreading fast because too. Many are selfish. They are about two point six billion Christians in a world of eight point three billion. Do you know what work we have to do? Divide? Help me divide eight point three billion by two point six billion. Quickly divide for me at point three billion, divide that by two point six billion. I want to show you how many souls one Christian is supposed to be responsible for if we we win this war three point seven What three point seven seven million or what one hundred thousand? Do the act traffigure? I don't I want, I'm not I'm not looking for resion. I want to give you exact number. You don't know the work we are here to do. That's why we spent thirty five years working for for government. I'm not saying there's anything wrong taking a job, but if all your time goes to work for government, to work for institutions that have no implication on ittality, you don't know why you're here. How many is that? Huh? Eight point three billion? Divide by two points billion, it's three point one three point one nine. That means everybody should win at least four souls. That's all right, But see the problem. There are two point six billion and not Christians who know about God. That two point six billion are religious Christians who were raised in Christian homes. So there are continents that are Christian continents not because they know Christ, they have Christian values. The whole of South America are Catholics. By you, God, discuss, we don't find out what is our vasual. They were just raised in Christian homes. So they treat them to do right, to be kind, to be merciful, and they have tied you of Christians. And I'm not saying Catholics are like that. I'm just telling you most Christians are traditionally Christians. Half of Europe is Christians. So that's the number we're talking. If you talk people who truly know Jesus and are preaching, we are not talk to a billion. And then if you talk to us who take the responsibility of evangelism, we are not up to hundred video. This is why you must wake up. Your money must go to so well. I'm not saying give to charge. That's not what I'm saying. I'm saying anywhere you see so willy can pay happily. Either you are committed or you supported financially by prayer, by going out. To yourself and by giving towards it. And if you find a charge that is into so willed, clog your resources there, lift your hands worth Father, Grace, grace to be a witness, chrace to be a witness. Is there not many days from now? You're shad receive the Holy Ghost and power your shabby witnesses onto me. Prayer for that grace. Don't be quiet, go ahead and pray. That's villain, No. Hi, Let's get in the high will something sat there sat again he sata. Like your heart. We received that grace in the name of Jesus. The atmosphere is charged. Power of God wants to move, but we don't have time. If not, we we enter vig Today is our last Bible study. But please hear me the things we've had tonight, go and study them. Go through what I share. Do understand it and let it become your consciousness and left practice it. You'll see how your life would change and you'll becoming patron. If you are blessed by this message you just listen to and you wish to make Jesus your lord and personal savior, kindly repeats the prayer after me, Dear heavenly Father, I believe in your son Jesus Christ, and that he died for my sins.
