Tonight, I want to share with us on the subject I tithooed understanding salvation. You know, we've been dealing with matters of doctrine recently. I dealt with the doctrine of the forgiveness of scenes. I dealt with the doctrine of repentance. Maybe when we resume our look at the doctrine of sanctification, I look at the doctrine of justification, and then I'll look at the doctrine of glorification. Glory to God. I'll show you all of the layers of salvation tonight. But I just wanted to deal with salvation again tonight because we've touched some fundamental doctrines, and I believe it's only right we do that second remotive after four from verse one. So you know the reason why these things are important is that I charge the vpore before God and Jesus Christ, who sa joined the quick and the dead at disappearing, go on, if they preach the word be instant in season and out of season, in said, reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine. So the way to reprove, to rebuke and to. Exert is with what patience and doctrine netverse. And it's gonna give you why is there? For the time will come when they will not endear sound doctrine. But after their own lost should they hip to themselves teachers having eachy years glory to God? They shall hip to themselves teachers having eachy years. So people want to hear what they love. And there are many people doing a great job at pampering people's egos and telling them what they want to hear. Sometimes we see people working in error, so glaring yes, people are prophesying to them that they saw God giving them new rank. They are prophesying to them that they saw God add dead angels to them. And these are the kind of things we want to hear. You see people walking in error, and people you see people teachers and prophets and encouraging them not to worry that God has done it or it doesn't matter what they do. Can they imagine God's law? And they forget about the necessary requirement of responsibility that God expects of them, that if truly they want as to this love, his love should compare responsibility. And so many people are drifting away into error because those who are supposed to be gatekeepers, have become teachers that satisfy people's egos and their each years. And this is not just about the weakness of these features. Demons are involved in festival teachers. The four best one four ones again is that in the latter times, open the scriptures, let's read them. I have a lot of scriptures. Tonight, So when I was coming, I was asking God to help me just to read Bible, not to talk by inspiration because the time can't serve. Because tonight I also want to deal with some debates on the subject of salvation, like issues of predestination, like issues of one saved, always saved, like issues of baptism and salvation. What a baptism and salvation? I want to touch on those things. That's the major thing I want to deal with, because I've done the docrine of salvation before glory to go is then now these Sphirits peaked expressly that in the latter times some shat depart from the faith giving heed to reduce in spirits and doctrines of devils. So the people who preach doctrines wrong doctrines to men of tachy years are actually responsored by demons. And if you look around you and you see the impact of the Five food ministry. You will discover that it is more dangerous to have wrong teaching than to have false prophets. False prophets can receive individuals and at most a group of people, but wrong teaching can enslave many generations. The impact is beyond those who are listening to it. It will be propagated beyond the lifetime of the teacher, and they can become falsehoods and strongholds that put people in bondage. That's why the gate of teaching is one that must. Be preserved, and preserved with all jealousy. Jude was teaching and it spoke, Let's look at the Book of Jude. It's just one verse, verse three and four, one chapter. I beg your pardon verse three and four is a Lord. When I gave our diligence to write onto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write onto you and to exhort you that should you, you should endlessly contend for the faith which was once delivered onto the saints. In before he told us, why if we don't wove, we're come in to destroy and sabota God's heritage. If for there are certain men crept in unawares who were before of old ordained to this condemnation on godly men, turning the grace of God onto lassvious list and denying the only Lord and our Lord, Jesus Christ. So they can they can alter, they can they can mutilate the Gospel, and when they do, many will returned into destruction. This is why it's important for us to look into these matters and look at them very critically. Glory to God. And so I'm going to take time briefly just to give us a general overview of the subject of salvation. Like I said, we've done an elaborate teaching on the doctrine of salvation. If you want to get deep grasp on it, go and look at those scriptures there on our handles. And if you also want to be totally furnished on the subject matter, enroll in the Foundation School. We have form models on the subject, and we've dealt with so many aspects of it. But tonight I just give you a quick overview so that I can deal with debatable subjects or issues in the subject of salvation. Glory to God. So it's important for us to look at this. So the doctrine of salvation basically emphasize this, emphasize it the works, the redemptive work of Christ, and it also explores the means, the process, and the purpose of salvation. So when you look at that doctrine, you are basically going to see the works of Jesus and you're going to be made to understand how you get saved, the process of getting saved, the purpose of getting saved. But it's deeper than that. Salvation actually is the foundational doctrine of Christian theology, because that's the one doctrine that touches every other doctrine. It's within the subject of salvation that you get to understand the testing of God in details, because when you are dealing with salvation, you need to understand who God is. You need to understand God's standards, how did we fall in the first place. If you don't know these things, you can't believe that you'll be saved, because it's it's your understanding of God's authority that gives the assurance. That you can be saved. It's also understanding of God's authority that even makes you understand why you felt in the first place. Because it was the one that gave the law, the moral law that we violated, that we fell into sin. If it's within the context of salvation that you understand not just God's being, but God's mode of existence, because it's in salvation that we saw that in order for God to save band and to bring administration to his purpose, we had to seek Christ, who was the errand runner. We thought the Holy goos to empowered the process, and we saw the Father who organized and instructed the whole process. So starvation gives you deep understanding into the subject of divinity. It helps you to know God. Salvation also helps you to understand sin, because if you don't know sing, how do you know you are falling? Glory to God. Salvation also helps you to. Understand who man is because in salvation you understand man and his purpose, and then you understand what happened to him when he fails and why he requires redemption. In Salvation, you also go to understand the church because when we are safe, we are brought together to become Christ representative on the earth. In Salvation you taught a bit of eschatology because we are going to see matters of reward and eternity. All of that embedded in salvation. So in case you didn't have the opportunity to be taught all of the doctrines of the Bible, if you understand salvation, you would have taught doc things all of these doctrines at least in an appreciable manner. And again we've done all of these major doctrines in a series that we tried to the things most surely believed among us. So you can look that up again. But tonight, let me give you basic overview of the subject. You already know that the word salvation is the world's so terrier and it's not what the world sows. And you know what that means. It means to be saved, It means to be delivered, it means to be ransomed. So everything that has. To do with bringing you security both now and eternally, and also establishing you in God until you become like Him is what salvation is about. Glory to God. So very quickly out touched. Some aspects of the subject just to give us insight as to what it's about. Number one, what is the necessity? Why is salvation necessary? Why is it necessary for you to be saved? Why is it necessary for you to be delivered? Why is it necessary for you to be established glory to God? I give you four reasons very quickly. We're gonna be running tonight very first. Number one is necessary. Salvation is necessary because man lost all of the divine entrustments that was given to him when he faired. And for those of you who are also. Hear, you know that we outlined five basic things God gave us. Number one, he gave us this nature Genesis one twenty six is a let us make man in our own image. So God gave us his essence. God gave us this nature. God gave us his glory. When we fared, we lost it. And without that we cannot leave a purposeful life. Because the one who designed us designed us to possess and manifest his glory. Romance three twenty three said, for all have seen and falling short of the glory of God. So God gave us his glory and its nature when he created us. When we fared, we lost it. That's a divine entrustment. That's why we need salvation. Number two, God gave us the capacity to live like him. His righteous character was imposed in us. Genesis one twenty six. Isa, let us make man in our own image after our likeness. So we had the capacity to leave God's righteous character. But when we tell God's nature and character was ortered. Jesus was talking to the Pharisies, who appeared to be religious men. You will look at them and think these ones are trying to save God, so they should be close to God. And he told them John eight forty four, He said, you are off your father the devil. He said, the loss of your father cha you do? So Jesus reveal to them in that one scripture that they've lost God's nature and they've lost God's right yours character you are off. That means you your substances of your father the devil. And then because you have your father's character, your father's nature is this character you will leave. So man, no matter how he tries religiously, cannot manifest God's righteous character. He lost it at the four number three. Why do you need salvation? You lost God's authority. The only way you can walk in life curiously and for few God's purpose is. When you're peryed by God's authority. It's like one who is ordained the president and he doesn't have the authority of a president, or you are ourdain the king anointed the king, and you don't have the authority of a king. You will be a key. Go ahead. And God did not create us to be sea go aheads on earth. He gave us his authority to leave dearbye. But at the fall we lost it. The Bible speaking in Genesis one, we need it, he said, and God bless them and said, be fruitful, multiply replenished, subdu have dominio. So he gave us his dominion. That's what he had in mind, and that's what he gave us. But when we fail, we lost it. Because Romans six sixteen said, whoever you use your step servant to obey, the same you are whom you are obeyed. Jesus was tempered by Satan on the amount of temptation. Matchew Chapter four looked after four and the debo told him. He said, bow to me, I will give you the glory of the world. Why it has been delivered to me. Jesus never challenged it because Adam delivered it to him. In fact, four caused him the god of this world. Second Correentians Pover Three and four. You see that. So he's been giving authority of our nature. That's why things go wrong on it. But in order for you to secure your own in your own territory, so that Satan does not preval you must be saved so that you can exercise your authority that is in Christ Jesus. Otherwise you will be slaved. In this world. Number four, we lost God's presence. I'm talking about divine and trustments that were given to us when we were created. When God created man in Genesis chapter two, if you read from verse seven, he brited into his nursery. He became a living soul. And God put him in the guardian which he can't hiden. And that speaks of God's presence atmosphere, of God's dwelling, so that you will have constant fellowship with him. But when the man fell, because things could not cohea beat with God, he was expelled from the garden. So the man lost God's presence and lost fellowship with God. And so it was necessary for him to be saved so that that fellowship can be restored. So in Romans four twenty five and Romans five vers one, the Bible said Jesus was delivered for our offense and then in Romance five to one's being frelly justified by faith. We have faith, we have peace with God. So our relationship with God has been restored in salvation. That's why we need salvation. And finally, why do we need salvation as touchun divine entrustment. We were not opportune to complete the cycle of our metamorphosis. When God created man, he created him to function by three order of life. There is the life of the flesh, the power of this body Levity seventeen. That's the level said. The life of the flesh is in the blood. There is the life of the soul that sustains the mind is powered by your breath. Genesis two seven. He said, God breathed into his nose to it he became a living soul. But that's another life. The powers your spirit, Man, which is the then need of your faculties that life is in Genesis to nigh. He planted the three of life in the garden. The man never ate it, so the psychle of man's development was not complete. He had two kinds of life. He lost the top type of life. So every man operates at the animal remo. We are just the unsaved men are just the highest animals in the chain, the animal chain, but they cannot operate in the God class because you need the God life to bring the God class, and the devil top the man from doing that. But in John three sixteen, the Bible said, for God's soul loved the world that he gave is only the God ins on that whosoever believed in him to not perish but have everlasting life. So in salvation we receive the God life. So the first reason why salvation is. The most is so that we receive back work God then trusted to us when he created us, so that we can leave the complete life of purpose. And God then trusted to us his nature, his righteous character, his presence, his life, and his authority. All of this we lost the salvation, why we call it the great Fall, but when God we lost it in the fall, but in salvation it's. Restored to us. The second reason why we need salvation is because we sinned, and. So we fell into the realm or the region of death. And when I said death, I'm not referring to cessation of life. No body we stop existing. Every Body that was created we live forever, whether sinner or righteous, because it takes the breath of God to sustain life. So when we speak of death, we are not talking about the cisation of life. If you are not in Christ, you will live in hell forever and ever, and then you'll be transferred to the Lake of fire. So your promotion is hell to fire. That's why it's called hell fire. From hell, you go to the lake of fire, go to God. But those of us who are in Christ, we live with God forever. So when we talk death, we are not talking cessation of life. When we talk death, scripturally speaking, we are talking about three things. Number one denaturation. When you died, you lost your essence. So that's the nature us. That's why we are called motives. When God created us, his goal was not to make mortals. His goal was to create a mortius sustained in flesh. But mortality means corruption. The momentum failed, you became corrupted. That's why sickness can happen to you. If man didn't fall, his body would not have been able to be seek because the body would have been created perfect. It's a it's a mortal good is a body hosting a mortal sidity. But the moment is failed, he became mortality. He became less or pless, so he can be sick. Man should not have grown old, but the artward man perishes. The inward man is. We knew there by day. That's why you we need and. Not that body. When this hyple of salvation is completed, called glorification glory to God. Because you were not create, your body is not to grow old. You were, That's why Aidan wasn't bondy child the way your eyes the way you should have been. But now you are corrupt, so your body keeps perishing and growing old until you are finally glorified and your celestian garments is given to you. The man was clothed with light and glory. It was not supposed to know aging glory to go. Your body is not supposed to love error iniquity. See now you have appetized God lost. You are motive, so you need salvation for that delatoration to be altered. Glory to God, and that auteration will happen at the last site, at the last part of the secuity of salvation. It's called glorification glory to Jesus. But for now we understand that death is denaturation so you're firsty, you get weak, you get There was no record that Dan was hired because rest in Eden, it's not rest from tidness, resting in the Sabbath. It makes the difference. Okay, let me stop there. But death is deliteration. Number two. That means purpose less existence because you are cop off from God. So death is separation. Separation the results in purposelessness because you have purposed to the degree that you are connected to your designer. These pickups are purposeful because they are serving what the designer said is yourself. This microphone is relevant because they're serving what the designer designed it to serve. When you become separator from God, you no longer know your purpose. You become purposeless. You run on the heath like a wanderer. So when we say we speak of death, we are peaking of separation from God. The result in purpose less existence. And then number three, death is judgment. It's a state of condemnation. When we say something is dead in biblical contest, it means that thing has been judged. So when man's seen, he died. So we need salvation because the program of death needed to be restored. And then finally, why salvation a most. Salvation is a most because you. And I could not help ourselves. It was impossible for us to save ourselves. If you die, it's caused you side. If they kill you, it's called mother. None of them bring salvation. Meanwhile, the wages of Sein is dead. The price for Sein is dead. For you can't kill yourself. You's suicide. Somebody can't kill you. It's God Mother. So you need a savior to remove you from that quagmire. And in salvation, God sends a substitutionary lamp to die in your place, because even if you die, you could save yourself. There are many religions of the world that do a lot of penners. Some climb mountains with their knee. When you come down, see a doctor quickly. It doesn't add anything in the courts. In that court, there's only one thing they receive is blood, and it's a righteous blood. Is that with stut remission of we start shedding of blood Hebrews nine twenty two. There can be no remission of things. Please don't be distracted by this. We didn't put it here for people will feel this Christmas tree and say what they're doing. I'm not going into the theology of Christmas. Three, but just know that we didn't put it here. This facility is not yet ours. So anything we see here we operate, we just take because of the spirit. That's what I'm saying. What the spirit blurry, so we couldn there ourselves. So we need that respavior to bring us salvation. So three reasons why salvation is the most. It's because number one, you lost the fine enforcements that are restored in salvation. Number two, you suffer the pain of death that is reversed in salvation. And number three, you couldn't save yourself, so God had to initiate the program to save you. This is why we are looking at the subject. Of salvation, and this is why salvation is the most. Now, what's the program of salvation? Like, it's important to understand it. In the program of salvation, there are three major players. Now two major players, but separated into compartments. Right, the first major player is God and here alone sponsor salvation. You have no contribution to salvation, but you also called the player because you have to receive it for it to be relevant. Glory to God. So when we're looking at the program of salvation, first we look at the God angle, and in the God angle, God initiates salvation. John three sixteen. For God's soul loved the world that he gave. It's only because in so so God initiated it. Then Jesus fulfilled it. This is how the program of starvation wrongs. God initiates it, but God becomes a man in Christ Jesus, and fulfills what he initiates. Because God is spirit, he can't come into the realm of men. So what God did was that he took a body to forfill what he initiated. So the Father initiates salvation, the son accepted it or forfulled it. Glory to God. First of May one fifteen, Romans five eight. The Bible said, why we were yet sin us. Christ died for us, so it's forlfilled in Christ. And First forty one fifteen. Said this is a faithful saying worthy of all acceptations. My goodness, it means acceptance. This ancient English, it said that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sin us, and Paul said his chief among sinners. So God initiates salvation, Christ fulfills it, then man accepts it. That's how the program of salvation works. You see John three, stay for God's whel love the world. So God provides salvation for the world, but only those who accept it are saved. So you must be part of that program for the program of salvation to be complete. And that's why romance tend best man and ten selves. If we believe in our heart the Lord Jesus, and compress with our mouth, we shall be safe. He said. With the heart man believed onto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made onto salvation. Why am I listening? Why is this sound like? This? Is this a hohoja mife you are using today? Somebody go the. Hands on the sound person. Let this man. Prayed for wisdom for two years. Please, let's deploy this wisdom that God gave you. Now that is that he prayed for wisdom for two years and he taught a little the sun man needs some Please go there, deposit some of those wisdoms that you got in two years. God, I don't know why. Go on deposite wisdom there, Give me a bit of a bit of volume, Give me some baths. Don't we spend some money on this equipment. Don't make it sound like like a hoojah mic that we go into the market and we are shouting be saved, be saved, Yeah, glory. To go. After. I've been using a qlxd mic and I'm hearing myself in a strange man. I'm not feeling the vibrations, are you know? These things are products of vibrations. You feel it at it's hitting you that you two you are sending Otherwise, after one hour we'll all be bored. So there's the program of salvation. I've taught two things already why you need salvation, and then the program of salvation. God initiates it. Jesus fulfilled it. You accept it, and that program is complete. This is why we preach the gospel. If your party is not necessary, won't have been preaching the moment Jesus died, that resurrected the whole world to have been saved. But you have to accept it. So you don't do anything to be saved. Jesus paid the whole price, but you must receive what Jesus did in order for you to be saved. Is that clas number three? What are the biblical means for receiving salvation or for a value salvation? What are the spiritual resources that makes salvation available and make salvation receive able. The availability of salvation is based on two things, and the receiving of salvation is also based on two things. Remember when we looked at the pro we thought that God provided it. You receive it. So what in God makes it available? That's what I'm looking at now. Number one is the great of God. Without the grace of God, salvation would be impossible. Romance Chapter two, verse one five. Romance two, verse one five, efficients forgive me two, verse one five. Just write these scriptures down when you go home, meditate on them. I'm fast. If you meditate, it will make more sense to you. But for now, just write. Is it for God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love? Where we will love? Thus? Next verse even when we were dead is seen had quick enough together in Christ? Are now added by grace? Are you saved? If you got to Vest four, it will add verse eight, it will add not of your own works. So I'm not saying you did anything to be saved, and say God did everything for you to be saved. Your job is to receive it. And I'm now showing you the instrument in God that it took advantages for you to be saved. Number one is called Greece. Number two is called atonement, or the principle of substitution. You know, God is the wise God. Before Jesus ever came, he established that system in the human context, that is possible for one person to be wrong and another person pays the price. That's why I can take you to a restaurant and say it's whatever you want. When you eat, I pay. They won't hold you and say no, you are the one who eat who had paid. No, if the money comes out, it's done so long as it's not so lon. It's a principle of substitution, and it affects every aspect of human civilization. But God wrote on this principle to bring salvation to. Us, and we call that atonement. And if you study attonement, there are two aspects to attonement. That is what we call excitation, and that's what we call propitiation. Excitation is the art of war, the way iniquity white. Propitiation is the act of statisfying the anger of an aggrieved person. So in salvation, talking about atonement, Jesus had to die for his blood to be shared, for sin to be washed away, and that is why Jesus died. When he died, it became the substitution for you and I second courreentials. By twenty one it said he made him. That's what was without seeing, to become sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. In Colossians one vesse fefe and tetein is giving terms to the Father. In fact, we are going to go to vesperteen, who has made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light versatin, he said, who had delivered us from the power of darkness and translated us into the kingdom of his zea son. How versportein in whom we have redemption through his. Blood, the forgiveness of things. So the blood was required to wash away our things. That's what atonement in systems for substitution to be possible. Jesus died, his blood was shared, and that blood. Became the testimony for your righteousness. I died in your place. And then there is propreciation. The wrath of God insists that the sinner must die, So God will hear anything until he is dead. So when Jesus huns on the cross, he was satisfying the anger and the judgment of God. So the judgment that should have come on you went on Christ. So in the death of Jesus there is expiation. Blood was shared that washed your sin, and there is propitiation. The anger of God was met because they thought the sinner dead since he took your place in sin. These two got put together. It is what we call apponement. And so for salvation to be available, there must be grace and the must be atonement. Great is the ability of God to give you himself even when you didn't merit him, so that He pays the price for you. That's why they call it on merita table. And within the context of grace, attonement is a practice. An attonement is expiation and propciation. So this is what is required in God's. Realm for starvation to be made available. Now for you to receive starvation, two things are also require. Number one, repentance. You must prove to God that you appreciate what is giving. And the way you show that proof is that you're turn away from. Your old ways. Because what God is a veiling you must receive. But the way to receive it is to prove to him. That you appreciate it, and you appreciate. It enough to turn away from your old ways. So in Acts Chapter two, verse thirty eight, the Bible made it clear, glory to God is a bitter sat on to them. Repent and they baptize every one of you in the name of Jesus for their emission of things, and you shall receive. The holy goos. So you repent, you must show God I approve it. I showed you last week from the book of Lukes. Now I think looks look three eleven or things ay three? Find it for me were the Bible said. If you don't repent, you wire perish in your sins. So God that affects you to turn away from sin and your wicked ways to be able to receive what He has to offer. But it's not not to turn away. After you have turned away. The way to receive it is to believe in Jesus. You must believe that is the son of God, and you must believe that He died for you. If you are eating in a in a restaurant and I come I talk today, they first and serving and drop a bundle of money. He won't just stand up and as Zom I paid for you. The only time you will know I paid for you and you can walk up really is when maybe the water whispers or I whisper and say, don't. Worry about your bees are faith. You get? That's when you can work free. And then if it's more complex, if you did see me pay, you are eating in a restaurant and I just walk in at the place you're going, don't by paying, I'm paid, you would be like, first you will wear me the clothes I'm wearing, my watch, my shoe. Do you know what how much I'm eating? They put them eating here? Cost? What the clothes you're wearing? Does it? Does this not just you can't pay? But if you look at me, you see my my my watch I'm wearing, babe, it talks that those suits. You check my watch there are diamond twisters on it. And then you look at my watch I'm wearing and the thermo pick wet watch, Yeah, maybe a particularly watch. You say no, he can pay, but you you also you now ask the wet did did he say I know he can't, But did he it't the wet and now say yes, Then you can forget your hands and can I order for more? This is my advertiser. I actually want the two laps of chicken glory to God. So you must believe for you to receive salvation. So you repent, and then you believe in Jesus. I quote us for you already. Romance ten vers nine and ten say, if you believe in your heart the Lord Jesus, you shall be saved. You shall be made righteous. If you confess with your mouth, you shall be saved glory to God. So you must believe to be saved. This is the means of receiving salvation. God provides it in his grace. Jesus paid for it in his atonement. You repent from your old ways, you believe in Jesus Christ, and then salvation is yours and yours for the taking glory to God. This is basically what we preach. We can pretty different aspects of it. We can go and preach repentant. We can one preach the grace of God. We can go on and preach faith in Christ. We are just touching different aspects of a complete secute glory to Jesus. Number four, What are the processes involved in salvation? All of the complex debates about salvation is enshrined in the processes involved in salvation. When you study the subject of salvation, there are three major processes involved in salvation. The past is what we call justification. We are God. Decreases your righteous before Him through your faith in Jesus Christ, romance five best one there which romance five best one. Being therefore justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Now many things happen. Before we go to justification, and our take time to show you because I'll show you the sequence of salvation. But let's leave it like. This for now. This is what the first aspect of salvation covers. This aspect covers your predestination. You're calling, your regeneration, your faith in Christ, and repentance. When all of that is done, then God justifies you. He declares you righteous before Him. So on that its justification is predestination, is calling, is regeneration, is faith in Christ, is repentance. When God is that all of these things have been satisfied, then it declares that you are righteous. This is the first aspect in the process of salvation. On that year, when you read your Bible, you are going to see this is where you know many don't understand this. Okay, let me take it one by one. After justification, you now have sanctification. You know, it's just because to teach you it takes the heap of God, because these things can be their precept upon preceived lines upon lines. Yeah, lid to here, lidle. After justification, you do not have sanctification, and I will show you why you need this process. You need this process because of your make up, your spirit, soul, and body, and the project of salvation must affect your spirit, your soul, and your body. But the reason God begins with the spirit is because what it does in your spirit becomes an insurance for your soul and your body. That's why God begins with justification. Glory to God. But I explain it deeper after we proceed. After justification, you have sanctification. Sanctification is the salvation of the soul, and it borders around the transformation of your mind. So when we say man is safe, we are not just. Saying here separatecept the wrath of God. We are not just saying it now has eternal life and it can have a relationship with God. We're also talking about the totra overhauling of his potamical So God, through his world and his spirits, will transform your mind to become like Christ. Glory to God. Because Christ things just come to give you eternal life, they came to give you the mind of Christ too. So there is also the process of sanctification that borders so much around your transformation. And then finally in the process of salvation, that is what we call glorification glorification. So justification has to do with the salvation of your spirits. Transformation has to do with the salvation of your soul. Glorification has to do with the salvation of your body. The Bible says in the twinkling of the Eye is that we shall be changed, and our vile body shall be replaced with our celestial body. So God regenerates your spirit, transforms your soul, and glorifies your body. Glory to God. That's when you become completely saved because of this process. When you read your Bible, sometimes you are gonna see the Bible referred to your starvation in patents. We heard the Bible said you are saved, and so the whole process is already completed. Ephie Tients two, Verse eight and nine, Titles three verse five. Let's look at that quickly. It sat for by grace are you what paved? So it's pattens by great are ye saved? It's in past tense. Then titles three five. You'll find these things in scriptures. Is then not by the works of righteous depuich we have done, but according to his message, he saved us. So it projects and propagets salvation as a. Reality that has happened. In the past. But if you read your Bible, you are not going to find the same subject of salvation being discussed as an ongoing process. First Cornians one eighteen. Very quickly, I'm laying this tundation because we want to look at arguments on. The subject of salvation. He said, for the preaching of the cross is to them the parish foolishness. It's but on to us, But talking to himself now and those who are saved, which are but on to us, which are saved. It is the power of God give me an id. There's the best on the course it being saved. I don't have time exat for the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, it's said, But to us who are being saved is that it is the power of God. The other futures I can give for this, but I'm giving overview. I don't have time to go into morow. But the point is there is a presentation that salvation is in the past. There's the presentation that salvation is an ongoing process, and there's also a presentation that salvation is a futuristic event. Matthew twenty four, Verse twelfth and thirteen. Romance five, verse nine and ten. Let's look at that quickly. This is futuristic Matthew twenty four, verst. Twelfth and thirteen. It said, because iniquities are a bound projective because of the increase of wickedness. The love Okay, let's. Go back to KJBS. I just came to an ivy to establish something. And because inepuities are bound, it said, the love of many share works code. So it's telling you about. Matters of etality, life, seeing and all of that. As the team is it. But he that shall end. You're on to the end. The same show what they say, the same shah they say. Romance five, nine and ten. Quickly, Roger Service, you read many scriptures today today's Bible studies. Romance five nine and ten is the much more than being now justified by His blood. He said, we want we shall be saved from Row through him. So you look at these three scriptures. Some scriptures project starvation as a past event completed. Other scriptures project starvation as an ongoing event. Other scriptures project servation as a future event. Why is that? So? Is the process of salvation? The first aspect of salvation, this is with your spirit. God will not upgrade your spirit. God is not doing anything about your spirit. You are completely saved. The ongoing part people are bringing body bodies. The second part has to do with your soul. God says, the Bible shows that your soul is being saved because it's the transformation process. And then the thought part has to do with your body is glorification. It will happen at the last trunk. So when you read the Bible, don't be confused. It is because of your complex nature, your spirit, soul, and body in starvation. God delf with your spirit, wants and for all. But it's dealing with your soul and you will deal with your body also wants. Them for row. But at the end of time. Now the salvation of your spirits, which is in the past is called regeneration. That's what we call new best. So when you are looking at the process of salvation justification, which has to do with the salvation of your period is a total rebate. Your spirit is not improved. You were born again, so it's a regeneration process. But your soul is being transformed. If God gives you a new soul at forty you will be an imbetside. The psychological term is tabula rasa. Your your mind will be empty, so instead of busy, if you'll become an investide. So what God is doing is that is transforming you through the revelation of the world and the workings of the spirit, and then your body. If your body changes, now you can be on it. You will go to the spirit trend. So God waits until the end of time and then he changes. All our body. We call it transformstantiation. So you have regeneration, transformation and transformstanciation, which is the product of justification and sanctification and glorification. This is the process of starvation. So if you are dealing with the subject of starvation on any subject, you must be mindful that starvation is not only a spiritual experience. It's not just about your spirit, it's not just about regeneration. There more arguments around the subject of starvation. Cannot be a trade through the spectrum of the totality of scripture and the correct is because most of the argument of the subject of starvation is only around regeneration. It's only around you are saved. It's only in the past, it's only based on justification. They completely neglect sanctification or transformation or they being saved path. And they often neglect. The glorification or transformstantiation or they should be saved path. That's where we have crisis when we are dealing with matters of the doctrine of salvation. So when we are looking at some of these debates, put this at the back of your mind. Glory to God. So we have looked at what why you must be saved or why you need salvation. You have looked at the program of salvation. We have looked at the means of attaining salvation, and we have looked at the process of salvation. Now let's look at the scope of salvation. I know, my foundation school teachers, I'm seeing the way people are nodding. It's like the notes are coming alive. I'm not following. I'm trying to you know, you teach this in eight hours. I'm trying. I'm cutting and doing a lot of architectural work here. So scope of sarvation, there are two dimensions I taught here quickly. Number one is the universality of salvation, and number two is the holistic nature of salvation. Holistic nature one has to do with how broad salvation is. Another one has to do it how deep starvation gets into you. The one who has been said, So when we're talking about universality, we argue this cope of salvation to be something God provided for the whole world. So salvation is for the whole world. John three sixteen is say, for God's soul love the world that they gave. It's only the god in Son that whosoever. Believed in him does not perish, but have everlasting life. Titles two level for the great of God that bring us salvation has appeared to. Old men, So every man. Is captured within God's salvation. This is what whats the Caravinism movement. So that's why I'm taking time to explain this so that when we are looking at debates, you understand because The Calvinists don't believe that salvation is for everyone. They believe salvation is only for those God Fred designated to be saved. Our God to be a weaked God. How can God know the whole world we see and God's imagine. God comes even in your family. It chooses, the mother chooses, the sister chooses one brother and leave the father and two other brothers to go to hell. What kind of God is that? The grace of God, that bringer salvation has appeared through all men. Glory to God. So salvation is universal. The reason people are not saved is because they refuse to accept Christ, not because God didn't provide salvation. John one twelve. As many as received him to them, he gave the right to become the sons of God. He said. He came into the world. He didn't come to few people. He came into the world. Although the ward was made by him. The ward received him not, he said. But out of the whole world he came for as many as received him to them, He gave the right to be sons of God. So God brought salvation to the whole world. But God, that's all pets the will of man. So is the ones who accepts him. That are said, So salvation is not for his you. Salvation is universally available to every man. This is why God communicates salvation through nature. If you read Romance one twenty to twenty two, is the even nature is the preacher, is that the invincible things even matters the border on his eternal power and god Head is manifested. You can see the love of God through nature. And then God sent his son to personify it to humanity. And then God raised his preacher to preach about his son to humanity. You see that, so that everyone can receive him. It's available to all, but to show you God has he also personalizes it. So the first cope of salvation it's his universality. Number two, which is the second hope of salvation, is the holistic nature of starvation. When God saves, he saves to the autumost. God will save your spirit and leave your soul. And God will save your soul and leave your body. He saved your spirit, your soul, and your body, and he also saves you from circumstances. That's the scope of starvation. That's why when the man is saved, you know there are many debates and arguments today that God is only trusted in all that aspect of your life. God is only trusted in your soul. And God knows certain in fighting your circumstances. And the same God that says wake, come give you with turn alive and say now whatever you find faced who says like that, Imagine you give back to your child and there you say, I have brought you into the world survived. And there your boy of two years is going to look for a job. They say, take ho, go on firm, will live your good father. But this is the argument many people post to let They said, the God bel is just about your turn a starvation. God is interested in your soul. Now that you are saved. God doesn't care about your warfare, He doesn't care about your circumstances. He doesn't bless anything about your material life. But this same God puts you in the material world this name. God aspects you to you material things to advance this kingdom. Now the question is when he created the first man, was it concerned about his material life? Did they put edam in his room? Everything damn needed was provided. So God does not just save the spirit. God does not just save the soul. God does not just save the body. God saves you even from your circumstances. This is why you must learn to exercise path for every aspect of your being. Don't receive Christ for your soul and avoiding in your business. Don't receive Christ. For your soul and avoiding in your family, because any aspect of your life where you don't involve God is a warfare ground and certain we defeat you because you can't fight certain outside Christ. I know that our Universal principles are laws that govern's order aspects of our life. It doubly means you exoner read God. If you do, when demos becomes the ball, you'll see that principles alone contribute glory to God. So salvation is universal and salvation is holistic. Now let's look at the order of salvation. This is the protocol or the sequence. If a man is truly saved, all of these things at one point or the order must happen to him. Now, I want you to understand the things I'm sharing here. I am not saying you paid for your salvation. I'm saying only God paid for your salvation. But I'm saying you can pray to receive what he paid for. So you need to understand the difference. That's why I'm imagining it. I don't have time to start it. Amazing things. So in such a detailed manner. Now in Salvation, there are eight sequences that categorizes the complete secute of salvation. Number one is election. Anybody who is saved, God elected him to be saved. And I'm not saying those who are saved are the only ones God elected. I'm saying every man born of a woman is elected to be saved. That means God knows and captures you in his program. And I know why I put these things, because we are going to look at some arguments. Ah, we may look at some arguments. I'm seeing time now we may, or we might look at some argument Efficients one, four, and five. Efficient one is the according as they are choosing us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blaming before him in law. He chose us before the foundation of the world. Verse five said, having predestinated us onto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself according to the good pleasure of his will. So nobody who is said trank God by surprise he knew and he provided for everyone who will be saved. Even those who are not saved were predestinator to be saved. They only didn't choose it. Number two calling if you are saved, not that the Father drew you. You didn't become saved because you were reasonable. You were drawn. Jesus said, every man that came to me was drawn of My Father. Is the Romans eighth, verse twenty nine and thirty calling. So you are predestinated, then you are called. If for whom he did for no, he also predestinated to be confirmed to the image of his son, that he might be the first bone among many brethren verseet Moreover, whom he did predestinate, then he also called. So the second sequence in salvation is a calling. Now all of these things are happening before you were born. This is to show you God's mercy and God's love. He knew you before and before you came. He provided for your salvation, and when you got born, he. Started pulling you to himself. Now that you are called, God doesn't stop there for you to be saved. He expects repentance and said, so when your sense God's pool, you must respond. If you don't respond, the orther program. We solved. This is why many were predestinated. Many were called, but they were not save because they didn't respond in repentance and faith to God's pool. Add two thirty seven and thirty eight. Peter said, Now when they heard the world the Bible said, they were pricked in their hearts. Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their hearts. And stad on to Peter and the rest of their postles, Men and brethren, what shall we do to be saved? So when God pushed you respond? That's why I said today the day of salvation, when you hear the gospel, I didn't know your heart. People are not safe, not because God didn't predestinate them. They are not safe not because God didn't call them. They have been their hearts when they had the gospel. They have been their hearts when God pull them. So don't tell me this God, I love the world so much. We said someone and leave some to perish? Do you know what hell looks like? How do you come this? God? Lost men by allowing some people to go to her and saving few people? Is that not selective justice? Even among men? We know that's not righteous when you is it not double standards. So God can't do that. People who are not safe, I am not safe because they didn't respond in repentance and in pairs the pep that turned on to them repent. So if you must be there, you must repent, and you don't just repent. Repent, you put your faith in Christ Romance ten nine and ten. You believe in your heart the Lord Jesus. You're confessed with your mother. So the third sequence in the protocol of salvation is repentance and faith towards God. This is what most of the apostles preached. In Acts of the Apostles. I think that's. Twenty one twenty now or twenty twenty one. Check it for me quickly. Paul said he preached. Repentance from sin and faith towards God. Check it. Check twenty one, twenty or twenty twenty one. Help me with that scripture. If this is what he did with the Gentiles, testifying both to the Jews and the Greek repentance towards God and faith towards Jesus Christ, because is a most in starvation equation. So you have predestination, you have calling, you have repentance and faith. Then number four when you repent and your exercise face towards Christ. Then regeneration takes place. John three three to five. Jesus changes your spirit man. It gives back to you anew. Jesus answered and said down to him, very veryly, I on to you. Except a man is born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God. So God doesn't improve you when you repent, God doesn't improve you. When you put fate in Christ, he give back to a new creation. That's why Second Correnthians five thirty one s that whoever is in Christ Jesus is a new creature. You were rebect, you were reborn. It's a rebect process. He's the new creature. Efficients two times that we were created in Christ Jesus onto good works. So the first thing that happened is the rebect of the spirit van they rebect. This is why Satan can't have any accusation against you, because you. Are a new man entirely. He's a new creature. There was a rebet process that took place. Now after regeneration, then the fifteen is adoption. Now that you are reborn, you have got DNA. You are called into the family of God. Garnations four that's five to seven. Projectice is that to redeem them which were under the law, that they might receive adoption of sons. Adoption of sons is there. And because you have sons, God hath spent forty the spirit of his son into your heart, crying above Father. Verse seventh is that wherefore now at no more servants, but storn is son. And if you are sorn, then you are air through Christ Jesus. So what God did after the generation is adoption. You are not a servant in God's house. We serve God, but we are sons of God. We are songs. As many as received Him to them, he gave the right to become the sons of God, born not after the will of the flesh, but born by the word of God. So there is adoption. Then there is sanctification, and showing you everything that happens in the journey of salvation, there is scientification. God now begins to walk on your mind to keep that which you have received. Second Tarcelonians two thirteen Philippians. Once so this this thing does not end on the cruise ground. Is the lifelong journey, except when we are bound to give thanks always to God for you brethren, beloved of the Lord, because God has from the beginning choosing you to salvation through sanctification of the spirit and belief in the truth. He has choosing you before the foundation of the world for salvation through sanctification. So for you to come into receiving feteing Christ been available for you, you must receive salvation and you must also go to the protocol sictification. See most of us we go to heaven and discover salvation is not just a eternal life, it's also a by eternal reward. Who you becoming eternity, we will not be dissased. That's why after God saves you, separate you from condemnation, gives you his life, he non begins to transfer. That reality through your soul, through your body. You must learn it. You must learn it. There many we know hit some doctrie. You just wanted to end on the cruisette ground. I'm saying now, won't go to her now, won't be George. That's true, but that's not where it stops. You must become like Christ. That's why sanctification is important. Then there's past the verance. Best the verance is the work of the Holy Girls in you, to keep you in His kingdom, in his government, and in salvation. June one, twenty four, Matthew twenty four, twelve thirteen, First Corinthians, fifteen one and two. Is there now on to him that is able to keep you from falling and to present you pootless before the presidence of His glory with exceeding Joe. He's present God. But this is how he describes God who keeps you from folly. That means you can pape. Don't let anybody come to tell you you can't pape. You can't pap That's why God keep you from falling. So you have to compeat with God to keep you from polly. And I'm gonna talk a little. About apopetys d. To him that is able to keep you. So number one, that's confidence that God is happy you. Now that you know God is happy you, you. Now compet with it. Imagine if I told you there are things out there with gods, stay here, stay here. So long as you stay here, I can protect you. If they come, I defend you, I stop them from coming. As I'm saying, stay here, stay here. You now rubh the other part with and run out. That means I have the capacility to say to you, but you didn't stay within the context where I provided defense. So God is able to keep you from Polly. So stay with him so that you don't fall. Glory to God Matthew twenty fourth. Wor thing is that. Because iniquities allabo there? A load of money? Is that work cold? The load of many? Is that work good? Because iniquities are about the log of many? Is that work? Tod That's thirteen? But here dying dear to the hearth. So God is keeping you. You must be in the organ. If you don't play your part, you may be shocked. And when I teach these things, the reason I teach the whole counsel of God is because none of us have been to eternity before. The spirit try is our only window. Do you know why we have all these debates in the body of Christ. Those who believe one's saved is always saved, they don't just believe it. They want to prove that those who say one save is not always saved is wrong. And then those who believe that one save is not always saved want to first those who believe that one' save is always saved. I'm not saying you can accept the truth, but I'm saying when you are examine. The two scriptures, you will take cautions. I believe God is able to save me. I believe I'm saved eternality, but I will not be foolished to leave anyhow. I want avoiding the questions of scripture because I think God can save me eternally. I've never got to eternity before. The guy who is fretly has not gone there. We are all trying to interpretcripture. So I will show you. I will show you see tonight, I'm not taking side. I will show you arguments, and then I will show you my own position. So you reasoning with the argument glory to God, so God is able to keep. You from falling. You therefore comprehence with God so that you don't fall. And then finally there's glorification. When you don't fall to the end, then you are glorified Romans eight thirty. If they him that he called justifies him, that it justifies he glorified. So God will glorify us. Is that at the end, at the sound of the trump, is that we shall be changed, So we all will be clothed with our celestia bodies, glory to God, which shall be clothed with our celestia bodies. Give me the other phone there quick, Let me let me touch something. No, yeah, let me. Are you learning something. Now? These things I'm sharing? Write them down, study them later, study them letter, thank you Father. Those online are there following? Is it? Claire? So very quickly, let me touch the. Last thing I did say what I said to po Pau. So let me look at the assurance or assurances or salvation second TIMOLTI one verst word. There is assurance in salvation, but assurance does not sponsor recklessness. That's my own addition now, because many people interpret assurance or salvation as recklessness, they're not the same thing. Yes, there is assurance of salvation, but assurance is not recklessness. Please be careful when you hear preachers teach you salvation. Some people are preaching recklessness as assurance or salvation. They tell you, especially young believers, I can live in counication tree. The day I die, I will go to heaven. Lying is nothing. The love of God is bigger than lying. If you know the love of God truly as you claim, can you be lying? If that the love of Christ comes. You know, we try to explain these things cognitively, but in the spirit is one thing. If I claim that I know the love of God, I can't live in sing So if I'm living in see, I don't. Know the love of God. The Bible said that the love the world, the love of the Father, is not in them. So if you come to tell me I can punicate and go to heaven, I can lie and go to heaven. I know you have criptures to back it up, But the question asking is that crypture you are standing on that claims. The love of God, the power of God that kept you. Does that same scripture not say if you know the love of God, you can't do these things? So are you sure you. Know the love of God? Because when it's a cognitive discussion with spread them. But in the. Spirit is one thing. So I'm not going to start fighting with you. I'm saying, if you keep lying, you will go to her. I won't fight you too that if you keep connicutor, you go to her. I've never gone there, but we will meet there when we've got to eternity. May we not be on different sides. Those who are reckless, don't God like the rich wo and then you discover the last minute and say, please, let's send mostly to tell my brother that business not So. I don't want that to happen to me. So although I'm sure that I'm safe eternally, but I won't be reckless. So the question that you must have is avoid recklessness. So let's look at the assurance. Issue. Second one to world except for the witch, cause I suffer these things. Nevertheless, I'm not ashamed, except for I know whom I have believed, and I am persuaded that it is able to keep that which I have committed onto him against that day. So, like Paul, everyone of us to be persuaded that God is able to preserve us. In fact, the Bible said, he says to the autumost. So caution is not suggestion that salvation is not eternaline nature, But conson is telling you that you cannot understand the total dynamics in your mind. So be careful. Glory to God. So I'm dealing with assurance of salvation. There are three major aspects of assurance. There is the assurance of faith, there is theirsurance of hope, and there is the assurance of understanding These dimensions of assurance. We call them in internal assurances or salvation, because servation is not something we just read from a textbook called the Bible. It's the reality that impacts us. So before we look at the external assurances were scripture is number what happens to your spirits and your soul when you are saying there must be reality is in you that suggests to you that what I have is not a lie. After what the Bible said that light is the true light, the lighter every man that comments into the world. So anybody who is safe it should know. It shouldn't be something that a textbook told him. And I'm not the mainly scripture, but if it's lee, if it's organic, you should know. So there are three aspects of knowing or assurance. The first is what the Bible calls the assurance. Of faith here through ten twenty two. If they drawn near with a heart full of assurance of faith, having our conscience spring gold from an evil conscience, and our body is washed with pure water, as we've drawn near to God, there should be a regive fate that what we receive from Christ is not just leave, but it's a tanner. It's got the assurance of faith. If I ask you, now, why do you know you won't go to her? There is a knowing in your spirit. It's the true faith. We understand that the words were framed by the world of God. I wasn't there when the world was created. I'm not just taking the testimony of scriptures. Now. I believe the work God's head is what it is. It's got assurance of faith. And the same thing was applied to salvation. If you have not come to that point where you know, like you know your name, that you are saying, it means there's something wrong with your discipleship, or there's something wrong with the salvation you received. Number two, there's their hope every one of us here who is saying, somewhere inside you you are looking forward to a glorious as direction. I'm not saying somebody told you. You just know that one day you'll be with God. It's got the assurance of hope Hebrew sixty eleven. And we desire that every one of you do show the same diligence, so they pull assurance of hope onto the end, so there is an assurance of hope that the end will be glorious that's why Paul was teaching. I think that's first Salonios. Now if it for seventeen or so, is that we shouldn't moan like those who are hopeless teteen to seventeen help me with that scripture, is that we should do mon as those who are hopeless. First Salonians, Paul, can we begin from thirteen? Except what I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them that are asleep, that you sorrow, not even as others which have no hope. So it's an assurance of hope. Next verse, except for if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, then also which them also will sleep. In Jesus, will God bring with him? Next verse? Except for this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain onto the coming of the Lord, shall shall not prevent them which are asleep. That means those who died first. There they are asleep, because they really don't die except for the Lord inself that descend from Heaven with the child and with the voice of the act injury and with the top of God, and the dead in Christ shall rise first. So those who died we rie first. Next verse it said them, then we which are live and remain, shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. So shall we ever be with the Lord, So we. Know that there is glorification at the end. Next verse, we arefore, if they comfort one another with these words, I told people when loved ones die, there's no way to pacify them, because when you lose somebody who. Dies who is dear to you, it's not just the feeling. It's the weight. So you can't say it is well, it's why it doesn't of it. You can't say, please take her. You can't take her. If you lose a loved one. It's a weight. But the only thing that can pacify you is to know that we were all rise again. It's just like if perhapsure happens, now all of us we go. So the living they went ahead of you. It's because it's their time to go first. But you know that all of us are going to the same place. So we celebrate for them because they have gone to glory. We are coming. But the truth is. That we all come. And this is also why we are not afraid of death. First that if only in this life we have hope, we are all men most miserable. There's something working in you called the. Assurance of hope, the reason why. You have fed beyond the grieve, the reason why. You believe that at the end of time you two be rising glory if they walk in of this spirit called the assurance of hope. And then that is what we call the assurance of understanding. These things are in you. But when you know it is better. You may not know what I've told you now, but somewhere in your heart you just believe in God. Somewhere in your heart you know the end is glory now where you now find it in scripture, and you now understand it. You say, I knew this thing was soue. Thank God it is true. So that relies Lea's that understanding bring It's also a type of assurance. In Colossians, to the two is said that their heart might be comforted being met together in love, and not to all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God and of the Father and of Christ. So every time you know a spiritual thing, that is a consolation it brings that consolation is the assurance for some of us. We know this enough to debate it. To argue it, and to stamp our fists that it is true. The reason is because beyond faith, beyond hope, there is understanding. So every Christan must know what I'm sharing now, because it brings a dimension of assurance. These three assurances are called internal assurances of salvation. Any Body who is genuinely said. Most have the assurance of faith, most have the assurance of hope, most have the assurance of understanding. But it doesn't stop there. That are also external assurances. Now, this internal. Assurance system more. But I don't have time. To go. I said, this is not Bible school, because joy is one of them. Peace is one of them, rest is one of them. The testimony of the Holy goes within you is one of them. But I don't have the time. If you want to know more, go to School of Spiritual Foundations. External assurances number one the testimony of the world. The Bible said, we are saved if we believe in Jesus and that he died for us, and that he rose from the day. That's what the Bible says. And if the Bible said, it is so. It is so because it is with me, is superior to what I feel. Glory to God. See the way Paul push fit First Corinthians fifteen, verb one to four assurance of scripture. So in case you have not yet understood the assurance of hope and faith. When they ask you, why do you think you are safe? Go to First Corinthians fifteen. From verse one to four. This is why I know I'm saved. Morover, brethren, I declare onto you the gospel which I preach onto you, which also you received, and where in your stand verse two, by which also you are saved. The Bible say, I'm saved by believing the gospel. If you're keep in memory that which I preach onto you. Unless we are believing, there, what is the gospel for I deliver on to you first first of all that which I also received. How that Christ died for our scenes. So the Bible said, the death of Christ, it's not martydom. The death of Christ is a substitutionality death. It died from my seeing. That's why I know I'm saved, according to. The scripture, and was veried and rolled again the third day. According to Scripture, So why do you know yourself? The Bible say I'm saved. It's got external assurance, the testimony of scripture first John five eleven to thirteen. We put it here all the time. This is the record God that's given you eternal life. And this life is in the song. Whoever has the song half life. These things have I written on to you that believe on the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you. Have eternal life John thrit sixteen. For God soul loved the world that he gave it only be got this song that who's whoever believed to him should not perish, but have eternal life. So those who have eternal life don't perish. And the Bible. Says, I have eternal life because I believe in Jesus. That is my assurance. It's got the assurance of scripture. So these are the two major assurances observation. There is the assurance, the internal assurance, the border on faith, on hope, on understanding, on peace, on joy, on rest in the Holy God. And then there's the external assurance, the border on the testimony of scripture. That is also another one, the testimony of a Christian life but I can't talk much on it, so let me allow it. What if you have played between shure your life eternal life is not already it's reality. First John three, verse seven, verse ten. The Bible told us clearly. Can we read it? Go to verse nine first First John three nine before you reach ten. Whosoever is born of God does not commit sei, for his seed remained in him and he cannot see him because he's born of God. This is talking about spirit. Reality because the Holy gooes has sanctified your spirit and preserved it. But look at verse seven, look at verse seven before vers ten, First John three seven lead to to. Dree, let no man deceive you. He that do it. Righteousness is righteous. You know what he's saying here. If you have received righteousness, would do righteous righteousness? Because you can't do righteousness. You receive righteousness. And so if you claim you have received righteousness, then let's see your righteousness in your righteous arts. He now are there that if you are born of God, you don't think because your sites near you. Then invest ten. He made the final conclusion in this The children of God are manifested from the children of the devil. He said, whosoever do it righteousness. Do it not righteousness, it's not of God, so prist tell life. It's also a type of assurance. In fact, if you studied the Great Awakening that was championed by the lights of of of Jonathan Edwards, Charles Finny, there were there were some articuity outline as proof that you are saying regeneration, repentance and righteous lifestyle and the old idea of regeneration. He thought that you just see from spiritual they say, if you are regenerated, some things we show. Number one, you will love God so. That they see your regeneration in your pattern for God. If you are praying and you don't pray with intensity, they will suspect you that you're not see because you can't love God and be looking warm about God. Know that they shouldn't be encouraging you to pray. No, a man who is born and a petite wakes up inside him, he wants to pray because there's the drowning, and when he's praying, he prays energized. So don't find a regenerator present her father. Because your lovers we are here. No, do you talk to your lover like that when you wanted to dead, that sister, you know how you come you all your senses were activated, yourselves, everything were aligned. My dear beloved, when I woke up this morning, I looked at the galaxies, they remembered your eyeball. But when you now came to God, it's there, yes, Lord whatever, you don't know what you're doing. If you are regenerator, they believe that person for God works, and they also believe that if you are a generator, you will hate free because they don't believe that things should be a matter of discipline from starvation to death. No, from when you were born to when you die. They believe that there to be something is there because Thou loved righteousness and hateed iniquity. So those who are born up God hate singing. What is that generation where follow us are ten times heavybody? Say you know it's something is wrong. That's why the God did the Great Awakening. You needed to enter where they were praying. It was like earthquake. You will see people. They had to see people. They bipe please, that's when they move of falling under the annointment became rampart. Somebody will be praying and we hit him like electricity. He will fall down, pray there go and cont yours wake up as if they have to tell them that, okay, when the Word of God is going on, it's important to comport yourself for where when they are teaching, people are crying, people are willing, things are happening. They contact to generational issues. But our own generation is theology. Everybody is the teacher. No body has the experience. And we're arguing this is to Tarrier and Soso it means and you are saf pleased, pride, bitterness, arrogant, and we say we are teaching salvation. When I say, some people who say they are teaching salvation, and I'm wondering, do you know it with this bitterness, with this hatred, with this pride, is this s salvation? You are teaching. Theology and that those who are regenerated, they believe they have person to stap God if they seen chourage you to stave God him. Amen. That's the best I can't say now to Jesus. So that these are they are shortagees on salvation. Now our time is off. Oh my Jesus, I need God to help me with the ability to teach. There's so much in my spirits, but there's no time losing my tongue. Father, give you skill you skill, we need skill you together. Sometimes when I listen to some of our fathers, the volume of what they did in tirteen minutes and what they are they able to compress these things? Maybe tax time, let me listen some of the debates. Go on, study it. When less I have time, I will deal with them. Some of the debates debate on the subject. On the topic of sarvation, Number one is predestination and free with Number two is faith versus walks. Number three is one saved, always saved. Number four is the role of baptism in salvation. Number five is the scope or the extent of appontments. Number six is grace versus human corporation. Number seven is the. Fate of the unevangely those who I've never had the GOP did go to that. Number? Number what now? Number nine. Or number eight? The role of the Law and the Old Testament in the subject of salvation. Number what now the fate of other religions? Do we claim that only Christians? I said, do you know how many people in the world? Come on, there eight billion people in this world? Pless are just two points it billion? Do you mean they remain in five points something billion. I not said. The power of this debate is not number, but. Study study. It will bless you. So do I touch one or two or we shut down? Now this is the last Bible study. I want you to be happy. If we want to do or say here the morning the Bible starty will become the visit. Okay, let me touch one or two? Our list five? Pick two that you want me to touch? All right? Our list five. A god mess. We need to go back to doctrine. Predestination versus three wheel one saved always says the role of baptism and starvation. Don't faith versus one? And then the faith at. Of other religion pig three. Let's deal with them quick, give me, give me, give me a pen persasonic. I'm hearing predestination and pre wee give me pen h I'm hearing one saved, others always saved. You will give me another forty minutes. You know I need to do a thorough walko because if I do anything here tomorrow you'll. See it on the internet. Hey, how can he laid this? So predestination one saved, always saved, faith. Of all the religions, So here we are baptism, because baptisting is. With Hugh debates. Ah help me, Jesus, pray for me for one minute. Ohakoma nakaya zenzo prakidos zacharapis switzerlina. Okay, Let's look at a predestination and free view. What's that discussion about? What's that debate about? There are two major things that defines the debate of predestination and freeview. Number one, it bothers on God's sovereigny in choosing who he wants to be saved and who he. Is actually choosing. And then number two, it bought us on man's free will either to accept salvation or whether or not salvation was imposed or man, do you understand that God is sovereign And because he's sovereign, is it the one who chooses whoos to be saved? Those who are not saved? Is it that God didn't choose them? Is that why they are not saved? That's the debate. Then man has a free view. If man has a free view, if he is safe because God imposed salvation on him, or if he's safe because he chose salvation, And what if he doesn't choose salvation? Will God post it on him. This is what the debate is about, all right. So if you study I took time to write notes to so that because this is assitive issues. If you study the subject, you will notice that in the debate there are those who are four and they are those who are against insists that God is sovereign. So God is the one who predestinated those who are saved. Only those who God predestinated are saved. But they it becomes tricky when they now add that those who are not saved are not saved because God they didn't predestinate them to be saved. That means God, in his sovereignty has the right to select from before the foundation of the world those who should be saved, and from the foundation of the world they are those rejected. So no matter what they do, they can't be saved because God didn't choose them. Are you following? And then those who believe in free will believe that you have the right to choose salvation and you have the right to reject salvation because you have free will. All right, But we're also going to add those who are saying and they're not saved because God didn't choose them. Or because they rejected the vision. So let's look at scriptures first. Then we look at the logical analysis. For those who support predestination, that means those who said God is sovereign, he choose those su as saved, and those who are not saved are not saved because they were not choosing. These are the scriptures they used to support their argument. Number one, Romance, eight, twenty nine, and thirty. Let's read them quickly. For whom he did for no so he knew from the foundation of the world. He also predestinated to be conformed to the image of his tone, that he might be the first. Bond among many brethren. Morover whom he did predestinate, he called, whom he called, he justified, whom he justified, he glorified. So they said, those who are saved, God knew, and God predestinated them to be saved. That's why they are saved. So don't blame those who are not said they were not choosing. So the whole effort of our evangelism is for those who God predestinated, For those who God did predestinated, don't waste your resource is preaching to them is a waste of time. That's their position. Next stricture Epistiers one, verse fourty five. For he chose us in him, according as they are choosing us in him before the foundation of the world, that way should be holy and without blame in him in love John six forty four. If they have in predestinated us onto the abduction of children by Jesus Christ to himself according to the good pleasure of his will, not our will, John six forty four. John speaks forty four. No man can come to me except their father, which has sent me draw him, And are we raised him on the last day? Are using scriptures at thirteen forty eight. There's the fourth speaking now at thirteen forty eight. And when the Gentiles had this, they were glad and glorified the word of the Lord. And as many as were ordained to eternal life believed. Does it all look like what they said is true? That means for pretty to the whole gentis, But only those who are all paid for eternal life believe. And were said that means if you were not old day. According to this debate, if we like which you all day are, first look you ganda together and be pretty ones, you will not believe because you are not ordained. These are the scriptures that formed the foundations. And finally Romance ninety sixteen. So then it is not of him that will it, nor of him that run it is a but of God that showed message. And there is a movement, or there are many movements that support this. I give you one of it. It's called Calvinism. There is a major leading theological movement that supports this position, and Calvinism emphasizes God's absolute. Sovereignty in starvation. And this whole movement is summarized in an acronym called tu leap and tu lip simply means. The three stands for tortal depravity, The. Use stands for unconditional election, the el stands for limited apponment, the eyes stands for irresistible Greece, and the tea stands for perverance of the saints. What does tull it mean? Total depravity is an argument that the impact of seeing on man was so heavy that, as it is now, there's nothing man can do for himself. In fact, man cannot even desire servations. That's the level of depravity of man, and they have criptures to support it. Romance three ten to twelve. As it is written, there's non righteous, No, not one. There's non righteous. Is that there is none that understands. There's none the cricket after God Versuel, they are all gone out of the way. They are together become unprofitable. There is none that do it good, No, not one. So they said, this deprivity on the soul of man is so much that he can't save himself. He doesn't desire servation, he doesn't desire God. They call it total deprivity. That means, if you leave man to himself, man can never choose God. I don't argue much with this, but let's go farther. You will see where it becomes extreme. Then less this is you on conditional election. God chooses who he wants to be saved by his own will, not human effort or not human thoughts or human desire, efficience one best care. We read that already. Look at the way the Bible puts it. According as they. Are Chudrenus in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy, be without blame before him in law. You know, Jesus said, you have not choosen me, I have choosen you. So according to this debate, you're sure you're choosing has nothing to do with you. You just came into it. So you were manipulated into salvation, That's what they said basically. So that means whether you wanted it or not, one way or the other would have been saved because God already choose you. And when I look at it as visible grace you, we know that you could not have rejected salvation. That's where this debate gets complex. They say you can't reject it so long as God that's already choosing you. So there is total depravity, that unconditional election, and then limited atonement if we are My problem with this argument begins from they said christ atonement. It's not for everybody, it's only for those that God has. Already choosing to be saved. That means if you were not choosing for starvation, that's don't need for Jesus wasting his blood for you. That's a waste of. Precious resources of the city trend. That means the blood of Jesus didn't capture you. So if you like cry, even if you say I believe in Jesus, you can't be saved. That's what it means. So in case we've pretty God's good to you. And maybe you you you're certainly God taught, and you say, okay, I believe in Jesus forgiving my sins. You can't be saved because the blood of Jesus didn't cover for you. So they call it limited atonement that godess, this is different the things that shaved this world. Though, this is our regy, and this is one My problem with them began through I'm not troubled with the depravity of man. The Bible say all we like ship, I've gone away as pray. It's the one way, yes, and as Christ died for us, and the scripture painter cleaning. No one is righteous, no one seek God, no one is good. So I'm not against and that's okay. I'm not even against a election God, unconditional election, because I mean, who was reasoning when he was a legend. But I have a problem when you tell me the blood of Jesus does not cover the whole world. So what do we do with John three sixteen. For God's soel love the world that they gave. It's only the God his soul. What do we do with that? What do we do with titles two A level? Take grace of God? That bring us. The avetion has appeared to all men. If God's death was for you, why this savation appear to all Why did Jesus die for the whole world. That's why we have a problem. And you know why they argue like this. They argue like this because they believe that grace is irresistible. That if you were choosing you most besaved. That means whether you were preached to or you were not preached to, before you die, one day you must turned up and say, Jesus be my lord. So if men don't preay to you, as made sure up natural, something must lead you to salvation because we are being captured and grace will force you. So salvation is not about your will anymore. Your will has been excused, is irresistible, whether you like it or not. If God choose you, you are said you must be saved. So we watch you. And if God on the minds man's will in starvation, how can creation hold? Because everything in creation right on the premise of man's will. So while we God excused man's willing starvation, and then man's will will now hold in every other aspect of his life. So it's an inconsistent argument, but they have a position. John six thirty seven. Irresistible grace is the ad that the Father has given to me that come to me, and him that comes to me, and we know whe's cast away. All that the Father has given to me is that do what that come. Nothing can stop them. They must come. So whether they will it or they don't will it, they must come. So this argument necessitates that your will is over reading in starvation and that the blood of Jesus is not for the whole world, is only for those that God points for starvation. And then finally they said, perseverance of these things save God is the only one responsible for salvation. There's nothing you can do to lose bit. So it is this movement and many like it, that better ones save always saves, because they believe that you didn't. You were choosing. It has nothing to do with your will, because you were choosing your carry jee starvation. And if you carry starvation, you can't lose it. So you say that some of these debates we have actually at standing on forty foundations. Perseverance of the things Philippians one, verse six, Jude twenty four is the big competent of this verity that he which has begone a good work in you with performed till the day of Jesus Jude one, twenty four. Unto him that is able to keep you from falling. So they said, the perseverance of these saints has nothing to do with his corporation. He has nothing to do with his submission to God. It has everything to do with gods of rerny. So as far as their concern the whole equation of salvation God from God's of rerenting. He elected you. You couldn't do anything about your things. Because they elected you. You can't reject him. Your will is not a fact of the blood of Jesus, is not for the whole world. It's only for those God has already choosed it. Because if God choose people, why we leave. West his lood on those they didn't choose, knowing that they won't be saved. And then, if God is the one who choose you, who served you without your contributional how can you lose it when you didn't have any contribution in b save This is God the cosy movement, and this movement is what supports prey ordination or what we call predestination glory to go. But if I buible students, you already know that they are deficiencies. They're already deficiencies. But outside predestination, there's also the argument of preeview. So those who argue for predestination, they argue against preview. Those who argue for preview, they argue against predestinations. The reason why you can't take either side is because there is a part of salvation that is occasioned by predestination. That's why I showed you the whole protocol. That's a part of salvation that is occasioned by God's sovereignty. But there's also a part of salvation that necessities your own contributions. That's why I also showed you how the means of thevation and the program of salvation, so that you can tell God's work, which is actually the whole work, and then your own corporation, which is to receive. Because God does not forst anything on anybody. He's not a demo. He won't give you free will if it doesn't respect it. But before I go into my own so nessis, let's look at the argument for free wheel and then look at one movement that's the post free wheel. Those who argue the man's free wheel is necessary in salvation. And again note when they say man's free will is necessary, they're not saying man paid the price for his salvation. They are just saying. Man's corporation is required to receive this salvation Jesus paid for. If I buy a car, I see you tracking, I say it's. Not good for you to track. I go, I start out the car, pay for the car, bring it to you. You can't say we bought the car. He didn't, but I we need you to receive it for it to be yours. You get that. So pre will is not suggesting that you paid for your salvation. It's only suggesting that your will is needed for you to receive it. So those who argue for preeview, let me show you what they say, and also show you their own a little bit of extreme number one. Those who argue for freeview for scriptures to support. Let's get the scriptures first. John three sixteen. For gost all love the world that we gave. It's only begot his son. So he gave his song for everybody. But see the caveat whosoever believed in him should not perish. The Bible is there for gost All love the world that they gave. His only begott his son, that the word should not perish. For gost All love the world that he gave. It's only be good is all that who's whoever believed to him. So they said, you have to believe and choose God for. You to receive. So so your will has the part to play glory to Jesus. Revelations twenty two, Verse seventeen is that the Spirit and the bride say come. And now added, let the one who wishes take the free gifts of the water of life. The Spirit and the bride say come, and letting the hear it, say come, let him that is a test, come and whosoever. Will let him take the water of life. Treating so they believe that you can't resist salvation or anything from God. It your will is not exercise. Second Peter thretey nine. Is said, the Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men counts blackness. He said, but his long suffering to usward, not willing, not willing that anyone should perish, but that us you'll come to repentance. What is this scripture saying that means the will of God is not for any body to perish. Now, if people are perishing, it means God it's not forsting starvation on people. Because if it doesn't will that anith you perish. And if it's firstly starvation of people, not body, is you perish. So they said God's will is involved. And if God subjected to the will, then even though soon God are personal for starvation, can choose to reject it. So they argue for will and argue against predestination. And finally there is that even the foundations of all the foundations of truth the precedence of truth. So just that God never forces anything on people, JUSU have your revolve. Fifteen is they choose this day. Choose this day for yourself, whom you reserve. So God does not first things from people, does the precedent see fripture as touching his other dealings with his children. Now there is a movement that advances. Free will. And that movement there are many, actually, but I pick two major ones. Is god aninialism. This is the movement that comports or postulates the position of free will in salvation. And this. Is their position. Number one, humans have the ability to accept or reject salvation, whether they were predestinated to be saved or not. Number two, they peak of conditional elections, and their argument is that God's election is based on God's for knowledge. And their argument as starting for knowledge is that God already knows who will be saved, and so because God knows who we be saved, that was why God predestinated them to be saved. So if four people are sitting. In front here, Pastor Jacket, Pastor God Doing. My dear sister, Pastor Lockie, and Sister Phoebby, they're fistered in front as woman, I'm God. I wanted them to come to the author, to meet me here, but I already know that if I said, come up, Sister Phoebe and Pastor God Doing, we use the rights, and I already know that Pastor Jackrat and Pastor Lockie we use the left, no matter what they tell them, because I already know the end from the beginning, the chance or the room here will not be for four anymore, and we'll make it for two. Because I already know that too, he reject the call to come here. That's the argument of predestination. That predestination is not an act of God's wickedness. Predestination is an act of God's for knowledge. God knows everybody who we hear the gospel, and he knows those who accepted those. Who we rejected, So he provided only for those. Who accept the gospel. That's what they argue for. But that argument is that's what the meter because the Bible didn't tell us that God provided us salvation only for those that were predestinated. Is that the grace of God that bringers salvation appear to all men. It's that God loved the world that he gave. It's only the God and soul. So the argument is logically found, it's morally found. It shows that God is not wicked, but it's not consistent with scriptures. Are you seeing this? These are some of the little little things here and there number three only metered atonements. These people argue for predestination, yet they also argue against limited atonement. The say Christ dies for the whole world, not just for those God predestinated. If that's the case, why are you now saying that predestination is the function of pholedge. So you see that even within the argument there's a contradiction. So these are some of the things that theologians have been dealing with. And then they also talk about resistible grace. And the idea of resistible grace is that or do God choose you to be saved, you can reject it Acts seven fifty one. See the way the Bible puts it. It's a yes kiff net and uncircumcised in the heart and years. I say, you do always resist the holy goos as your father's did, so do ye. So they said that grace can be resisted. That means a man can reject servation even was predestinated. And finally they spoke of conditional security. And the idea behind conditional security is that believers can fall away. They advocate for apostasis, and the scripture of the youth is Hebrews six ver sport to six that the believer can fall. Don't tell me a believer cannot fall ext for it is impossible for those who were once enlightened and have tested of the heavenly gifts and were made protecters of the Holy gost. Does this look to you like somebody who is saved partecers him that is joined to the Lord is one spirit protecers of the holy ghosts. Next verse and have tested of the good world of God and the power of the age to come. That's the Holy Goost the manifestation of the spirits next verse, if they shall fall away, to renew them again onto repentance, seeing they crucify to the seve the Son of God afresh and put him to an open shay is difficult. So those who argue for we, their focus is to argue against predestinations, and those who argue against predestination, their focus is to argue for weed. Those who argue for predispination, their focus is to argue against your will. And because of that all of them drift into error. This is why when you are doing Bible words, just your focus is not to counter somebody. It will make you go extreme. Your focus should be doue with an open heart by the help of the Holy Goos in the scripture, following the principles of Bible interpretations. So those who are in today I mean realism movement are trying to counter corvinises, and those why colvinism are trying to counter those who and that's where the problem comes from. Now there are other movements that came later that want her to give us an average position there too became wrong the God. They were not arguing the scripture as it is as it is. They were trying to give a ballace God predestinations, but man can also use this review. God can keep you. From falling, but you can also for So their whole argument is about mediocrity, about average, and if you look at it critically, there are places where they become wrong. Christ provided is blood for all. What his blood is for those who are saying, you know, it can't work anymore. So you find move like Monaranism. There are many moves like that. They try to bring average. So what's the point here. The point is for you to look at what is clear in scripture and adopt it. So, if you ask me, I'm not for Cavilism, I'm not for Amnianism. What is my position? I believe in predestination. I believe in predestination because I know God. God knows all things, and God provided for us before we were born. God is not irresponsible. In fact, before we go to eternity, Jesus has already made provisions. So it's in God's nature before man came to it, God provided goding. It's in God's nature to provide before he creates. So I believe in predestination, but I don't believe that God only provided for those who knew we disease. I believe God provided for everyone that came into this world. But at the same time, I know that those two are not safe. They are not saved, not because God didn't provide, neither because God didn't reach them. It's actually because they rejected God. So good predestination and free we can work together. But it is also not the average, because there is a place where predestination is true but free we is wrong. So I'm not taking average. I'm just interpreting context by context. Predestination is God providing for all, not for song. Free we you accepting what God provided. That is my disposition. And then I go to the second place, which is what can man do about his salvation? Man can't do anything about his salvation because even if he tried, what it does will not be accepted. Nonetheless, after God has done everything for man's salvation, man must accept salvation, and he accept his salvation, he must take the responsibility of repentance and treating God to receive salvation. So man has the responsibility, but that responsibility is not to provide, is to receive. So I'm not going to be standing in the position of total deprivity by saying man played no role in salvation. No man played the role. His role is just that he didn't provide, but he received. Because if you don't repent, if you don't believe in Christ, you cannot be saved. So when you hear the Gosu, the God Wu, activates in you the ability to believe God and the desire to choose God. And it is that ability that you used to accept starvation. So I believe that man couldn't have saved himself, but I know that although he couldn't save himself, if it doesn't repent and if he doesn't accept salvation, he cannot be saved. Then I come to atonements. I don't believe in a limited atonements. I believe the blood of Jesus before everybody, whether those who are perishing and those who are saved. I believe that, But at the same time, I believe that if you don't accept Jesus, that blood won't profit you. Are you following this? I don't believe in irresistible grace. I believe grace is provided for all but at the same time, I believe that you must accept for grace to be relevant. To you or to be useful in your life. So when you look at the scriptures carefully and you'll gather these arguments, you will notice that on some points you believe in convinism, on some points you believe in amnialism. And then you also discover that even some things you believe in Covinism, you believe them to an essence. So for reastance, you believe in predestination. That means you stand with Colvinism. But although you believe in predestination, you don't believe that predestination is only for those God know we business. And then on another side, you believe in resistible grace. So it looks like you have left Covinism. But although you believe in resistible grace, you don't believe. It the way these people's added. That's why you have to take time to examine the scripture. And if you're dealing with these things, you must interpret them in light of scripture, interpret predestination, interpret atonement, interpret mans deprivity, interpret God Jesus is atonement, and interpret your. Interaction with grace only based on fripture. I believe in predestination, but in predestination I believe it's for everybody to be saved, not that God choose them and left tom. I believe in maths the privity, but in mass de privity. I believe that he couldn't do anything about it procure it servation, but it must abstract servation to be saved. I believe in atonement, but I don't believe in limited atonement. I believe Jesus provided for everybody that came into the world. Nonetheless, if you don't accept Jesus, that attonement is useless for you. I believe in resistible grace. What do I What do I mean? Chrace can be resisted, But I also believe that grace is powerful. Enough to convince you and to impart. In you the ability to choose God. So or do a man can resist grace, for grace have the power. To make him accept Christ. Because I've gone how to preach, I've think many people who reajude Jesus. But all the time, as God kept visiting them with his law, with his massive with his kindness, as the Word of God kept coming, as they kept having encounter, a point came where they eventually accepted Jesus. So grace can be resisted, but grace is powerful enough to conjict even the worst amongst us. So this is how you're into prescripture. The problem we have, you date, is that we are not interscripting scriptures in light of scriptures. We're interprettish scriptures to counter opposing positions. And the moment you do that, you'll be in error. So don't operate like that. Glory to God. So this is predestination and preview. Ah, maybe we do once they always saved later. But if you have heard what I played, you should have some inferences. But let me show you the argument for one day and the argument against for one's safe always saved, and the argument against one's slave always save. Write it down, go and do your conclusion, and revert back to me. There are four major arguments. Those who support one's saves always says four major arguments. Number one, this salvation is God's work, not man's work. Now you will notice also that anybody who adopts the perspective of Calvidism were naturally killed towards one's save always saved. Anybody who adopts the position and perspective of Arminianism will naturally killed towards those who are against what's safe, always saved. But again I don't advise you taking those positions into prescriptions. So those who be living one save always say this is their position. Salvation is God's work, not man's work. John ten, twenty eight to twenty nine. Philippians one, verse six, Jesus was speaking, is that I give on to them eternal life and they shall never perish. Is that no one will snatch them out of my hands. This is Jesus speaking twenty nine. My father, which gave them to me, is greater than all, and no man is able to pluck them out. Of my Father's hands. So they are saying this assurance is based on God's power and authority. It is not about man to be able to lose or keep. Is Christ and the Father that keeps it. Philippians one six sad the good work that God has begun in you, he will finish it. So their first argument is that salvation is God's walk. He's the one who keeps you, so you don't keep yourself to lose yourself in salvation number two, eternal life means itana it's not temporal, so they say, what God gave us is eternal life. It's not temporal life. So the very nature of the world, they find that the process is not one that should be lost. So this is the argument these people subscribe to, and the a fiptures to it. Romans eleven twenty nine. The gifts and the callings of God are without repentance Iphi one to eighteen and fourteen. Is that God see you those with the holy goost of promise. So God created an insurance system because eternal life is it tanna. If it were temporal, then we say, well, can you lose it? But since this isitana, the very nomenclature, the epistemology of the subject matter negates the possibility of losing it. Number three, there's a justification his final God didn't come to court to declare you justified, to go back and change his mind later. There That justification came after redestination, for knowing, calling, after forgiveness, after receiving internal life. That's the conclusion of the matter. Is like, the case has ended. This is final verdicts, so they won't go back. And this is supreme court. So Supreme Court does not end the matter, you bring it back. Do you understand this is what they're saying. Justification is the final verdict in the highest court in all the universe. So the case cannot be real repealed. You call it now, it can be revisited. Romans at thirty him that they justified, he glorified. So the moment you have justified, you enter your entered glorification. That's all reverta. That's the argument. Are you saying that these are compelling arguments? Then number four there's that the sacrifice of Jesus those is sufficient. How can Jesus come down from heaven? Jesus dies, Jesus chex is law, Jesus goes to heaven. Then you now lose. This thing has been bought and bought completely. So their argument is number one, God sovereignty. Number two eternality or the eternal nature of starvation. Number three the finality of justification. And number four the efficiency of Jesus is sacrificed Cibrus times fourteen. But by one sacrifice he has made perfect forever. Are you thinking by one sacrifice he has made what perfect? Forever? Them that are tientified? So you have been as far as God is conser that you are being perfected forever. So your past, present, and future three is that forgiven, so that that's not coming back. And to add again, starvation is regeneration. Starvation is is not moved from death to life, move from here to here. Your nature is changed. If you were caught into you can be kicked up. But they say this thing is regeneration. You took God's nature. So we did five very strong arguments. They believe that once it is what always say. God is sovereign. He keeps you so nothing can take you out of his hand. Starvation is the tanner by reason of the name and the nature. It's not something that is temporar, so it can be lost. Justification is final, so you can be justified and beyond josified. The sacrifice of Jesus is sufficient. And then you are generated. You are not just giving something that you lose. You were changed into another man. You carry Gods Dna now glory to go. And to support this argument, they said that was why God kicked them out of the garden. Because if the height of that three. Eternal life is finality glory to God, so is sovereignty, eternality, finality of justification, sufficiency of christ sacrifice, and the potency of regeneration. This is the argument for one's safe, always say. Now, let's look at the argument against. Number one is warning against a postsy. So those who say one safe is not always safe, they said, the Bible gives warnings against. A Posteses. Hebrews six four to six, Second Peter two, twenty to twenty two. I've read this already, for it is impossible for those who were once enlighting, having tasted of the heavenly gifts were made by takers of the holy ghost verse five, and have tested of the good word of God and the powers of the age to come, if they shall fall away renewing them again onto repentance. If they shall fall away to renew them again onto repentance, you know it's not already that it will be worth impossible. So they argue that there's the warning their computer to twenty twenty two. But it is happened onto them. According to the true proverb. The dog is turned to his own bombit again and the soul that was worked to how wallowing in the man no start from verse twenty, For if after they have escaped the pollution of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. They are again and good, dearing, and overcome. Is said the latter end is worse with them than the beginning twenty one, for it had been better. For them not to have known the way of righteousness. Than after they have no need to turn from the holy commandment delivered onto them, so saying they have known the way of righteousness. If they know the way of righteousness, they timber. They are said to be worse. So this is warning against the postpace. And these guys are saying, if God is warning us like this, a means is possible to lose it. The second argument they have is every most times, now you're this salvation. Salvation comes with conditional statements. John fifteen, verse six. If you do not remain in me, listess Jesus speaking. Let's start from best buy John fifteen five and six. I am the vine. You are the branches. He that abided in me, and I in him, the same bringers forth much fruit. For without me you can do nothing. If a man abide not in me, he cast forth as a branch, and he's withered. And men gather them and cast them into the fire. And they are born. So Jesus was talking to his own people. If you abide in me, you will flourish. If you don't abide in me, you shall be cast into the fire, and you shall be born Colossus one twenty three Colossians one twenty three. If you continue in the face grounded and sattooed, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel which you have heard, and which was spread to every creature which is under heaven, whereof eyed Paul I am made a minister. If you continue so, you see that every time they speak of salvation, there is always a condition. If you read from Vestiunity to it is Clara. If you continue twenty one. And you that were sometimes alienated an enemies in your mind by wicked walks. Yet now hath he worked reconciled in. The body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and all reprovable in his sight. You see what he said. He now added, if you continue so, he will present you holy, on blameable, and all reprovable. If you continue, so, they said, if salvation is always giving me condition, then be careful. Look at fact current young Christiane from verse one and two. So you see that the argument for one safe always says is stronger is Clara. But the weight of the warnings are too. Heavy for you to just jump and swallow it. That's why I told you when I started, you have not gone through eternity before. Be careful. We are all interpreting eternity from the window of scripture. So nobody is you interpreted as if he has entered leavel and he has seen the end. You are not about media. More of our brethren. I declare onto you the Gospel which I preach onto you, which also you have received, and wherein you stand verse two, by which also you are saved. If you want keep in memory what I preach onto you, unless you believe in them, you are saved. If you are saved, if you are presented holy, if you are presented or reprovable Eve. So these people are doing that. One service is not always as saying. If salvation promises comes with conditions, then those conditions are a strong statement that if a letter then salvation can be hampered. So the first argument is warning that the Bible gives against the postesses. The second argument is that salvation mostly comes with conditional statements. The thought is the argument that they have. For man's pree will. If you use your free will to receive it, they argue that you cannot go use your preeview to reject it Gallations five four. Now this is for talking to believers who are adopting legalism. So Paul was talking to them. If the craft. Has become to you of non effect, whosoever of you are justified by the law, is that you are falling away from Greece. You choose Christ by paid you know it started in chapter three, verse one, or police Gallatians, who has bewitched you? So these guys accepted Christ, put patent Christ. Now they're also using the law to justify themselves. So a poise telling them, if you want to use the law. To justify yourself, not your patent Christ's that you have received Christ in vain, It's that you have also fallen away from Greece. So a poise telling us, the same way you used to put your patent Christ, if you put it in other place, you can lose what you have. And you see that most people who believe in one they've always said, want to argue these features away that's where they risk comes from. These one is are too heavy to try to use intelligence to argue it away. So there are close creatures that shows their security and in internality of salvation. But there are also warnings that you can't put away. Finally, those who argue for once they've always says, argue against one save, always save. Give biblical examples of a post pass people who are falling away Second Timoltive four ten, John twelve twenty five. Quickly, second Timoltive, is there for demas for sakend me have been loved this present world and depart that onto Thesalonica. Now, when somebody loves this world, what does that mean? The love of the Father is not in him? First John two fifteenth of seven. There that love the world, the love of the Father is not in them. And if the love of the Father is notting you, you don't have God? Are you being? Are you seeing this? So this guy is on his way to a postesis. So the Bible shows that a postess is possible. But if you want to argue this a way, firstly what you want nineteen and twenty also shows us a postetive brethren, hold this pain and a good conscience with from having put away concerning feet, have she pragged their faith? Some people sho pregg their path, they lose their faith in God. Now verse twenty, of whom high manails and Alexander, whom I have delivered on to certain that they may learn not to blast Phey, that they may learn not to blastphey. So people get into a postessy to blasphemy. And I read to you already where Jesus was speaking, that everything a man commits to be forgiving him except the sin against the Holy ghosts. So when you see the work of the holyghosts and you are striving to another spirit, you are blast said, are you seeing that? So what is my point? When you look at this script you're going to see that both arguments are strong. They are very very strong. What Bible teachers. Want to do is that those who argue for don't just argue for. They want to counter the argument against, to make it look as if that's not what the Bible is saying. That's wrong, that's an error. And those who argue against, they want to counter every scripture that the arguments for postulate. That's what's all not possible because it's too clear and then when you look at this subject, two of them can't go as this you can't pay salvation is the turner, and at the same time it's their servation is not the turner. It will be too sharp a contradition. So what position should a genuine Christians substrate you. I believe God can save me. I believe my salvation is the turner. But I will not be reckless because the oneings are too heavy. The warnings are too heavy and not body. I don't eternity to see the end to come and tell me to neglect these warnings. That's why for me, in order to be saved, if you ask me then tomorrow I will hide on that won't say, may not be always did? I know the argument but once they've always saved is very strong and clear. But I can't undermine the warnings that the Bible gives. They are too heavy. So in order for me to take gottos, why I believe God can keep me. I will not be reckless in my doctrine or in my lifestyle because I don't want to go to heaven and now be surprised that actually won't say it's not always there. It will be too late a time to realize. So I believe with all my heart. The argument for are too clear too. So I believe in the power of the Holygood. That's why I showed you as a servation. But internal next time. But I will not be reckless. I will take cost. I will take coustion, I will take court. I will take cours. I know all the debates against and for. I know the argument to counter discriture. You know all the spiritures have told you for they are debates to counter them. I'm not the scriptures I gave you for against their debates to counter them. I don't want to go into that there. Stavis will be too long. So I know those debates, but I choose to take cost. The only person that would have taught me to adopt one, it's somebody that is Alpha Amida. But unfortunately the scriptures we have here all from the Holy Spirit. So I won't take one position and leave the other. And if I must take one position, I will take the one that's. So just caution, and the one that so just caution is one save is not always. Say it's be careful, be careful. I don't want to discover it in the forgive me if your position is contrary, this is my soul. This is what. As a teacher of the world of God. I've shown you all the position. But this is my soul. So I don't want to be taken by surprise. Wait wait, stop here For those of you who say, how that all that religions in a revelation is progressive? If you read Roman chapter one, I think from verst. Nineteen to twenty, the Bible said, those who don't have the law is that their conscience is there to judge them. But if you not move to ask of their. Posts, the Bible said, before now God was linient with people, but now he commands men, all men, to be saved and. To come to the knowledge of the truth. And what is the truth? John seventeen seventeen sanctified them with thy war. Thy war is truths is the truth. And Jesus said Jump fourteen, verse six, I am the way it is. I am away in Jesus that I am away. Then I would have said, maybe those of other religion, if. They walk, would if they do righteous, there they might for Jesus that I am the way, I am the truth, I am the life. In latter times or in former times. Now God overlooks, but now commands all men to return and come to the knowledge of the truth. So my position is, if you don't know Jesus, you will go to hell. That's why as much as the Holy goes empowered me, I preak the gospel passionately. God dealt with men true conscience. God dealt with men, But all of those men, they didn't even go to the Father. We saw in the Parable of the Red true in Luke sixteen that there was a paradise that God created and waited for men to hear the gospel and scriptures told us in Fast p thirtree I think Vers. Nineteen is that when Jesus died, he preached to those in the grave improved from the deaths of Noah and Paul. Talking in efficient sports. He told us from best age that he left captivity captive and took captives in his strength. So there's the possibility that those who were doing good walks, those who were living by good conscience, Jesus spoke to them. Please check those scriptures, let's read them. I think first that three nineteen he said he precked to those who went to. The other side, help me, help me. Is that by which also he went and preached onto the spirits in prison? How do I know these are those who died before Christ? I know because episions for it. See what it says. Give me the newer translation. Let's not do captivity captives. Let's be clear, either an ivy or tipathy the personal translation. This is why I say, when he has sended on high, he took many captives and gave gifts to men. He took many captives. Let verse come on first nine What does he what does he. Has sended me? Except that he descended to the lower Eh region first, So where did he get the captivity from captives? From from the lower Earth region? Next verse he also descended to the very one who has sent that higher than all levels. So he has sent that. Well, he descended first to the lowerth region. That's what firstly thir three nineteen called the prison. So those who went Paradise where the ones be pretty to and when Jesus directed the Bible said they thought some prophets in Jerusalem, so man came with him. He delivered them. So those who didn't know Jesus, those who didn't hear the God who but lived right like we saw in Luke sixteen in the pariple of the Redboo. God didn't throw them to her. He kept them waiting for Christ. And when Christ came, he preached to them in the grave, I am the Son of God, I am the source of life, I am the Word to the Father, and those who believed. The Bibles that he delivered them from that prison. So Abraham, Boston is. No longer there. They have left there. We are there. Absence from the body is present with the Lord. They are with the Lord in the spirity. So I know they have been real. Nobody's going to a brah Boston anymore. That place is no longer relevant. It was relievant. Ont the Christ. God give thady to Abraham because it's the pony of it, and fast is the only means to serveation in Christ. So Abraham was giving a promised re note. And you know, Jesus said, Abraham, your father saw my day and rejoiced in it. So it was illigal in the city to condemn them. So God promised them. That the Messiah is coming. But the Messiah is not only for those. Who are live. He went to the grid and preached to everybody who, according to Romance one nineteen and twenty had good conscience, who did right, just walks. But that eerror has passed. Now he said, God commands all men to repent and come to the knowledge of the truth. And Jesus said, I am the Way, I am the Truth, I am the Life. So if you don't know Jesus, if you like, it's to be ten billion, they will perish for gods al of the world that he gave. It's only the God is all that who's whoever believed in him wild not perish. So if you don't believe that Jesus is the son of God, you be perished. And don't tell me about number in the Deaths of Noah. The whole world has already been charged because of one man. So it's not a number things reality in the series. That's why God sends apostles, send prophets, send evangelist, send factors, same teachers. That is not enough. He now send every other believer. So the moment you believe, free to somebody if that in Second Correnthians Pride seventeen. Whoever is in Christ, Jesus is a new creature. All things that passed away, Behold all things that become new. It's that for God was in Christ reconciling the ward to himself as my team, not imputing their churches against them, but it gave them the world of reconciliation. So anybody who is recons pride is commissioned. That's why the Church of the loved is not the church of gathering in church is the church of entering the world. It's the all power in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go to all the wars and disciple own nations. And this is why God will be ten with you if you don't win souls first that I have free to you the whole counsel of God. I've delivered myself of your blood. So if you are saying, if you don't know Jesus, you go to her, as God knows the responsibility that the only way they will know Jesus is one you preach. The Bible said in Acts tent from from the Best thirteen. Now whoever calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Is about how can they call upon his name, accept they believe? How can they believe? Except that's the preacher preach. Is why you must become a preacher. I'm not saying you are there the five four minister, but preach the gospel, because God we hold you responsible if you don't so, I said, fearful thing. When people go to hair hope, they are not the ones that should have pree to that went. That's the first world issue. Ask yourself. But here this. I love every religion. I respect every religion. But my Bible said, Jesus is the only way. He's the absolute truth and his life better. So if you don't hear Jesus, you don't look ruth. If you don't receive eternal life, you are in death and you can never see the Father. This is why we preach. It goes again, somebody may be offended. This is not my opinion. This is what the Bible says. Before now, nature preach to people. Before now. God use good conscience. But all of that, he permitted it because the sound was coming. When the sound came, he. Went to the prison and preached to us philities there that believe. He let the captives out so that they can be with him. And then he said, now that that has happened, he commands all men to repent and come to the knowledge of the truth, and the truth is not an idea, it's the person. His name is Jesus. So starvation is only in Christ. In fact Peter was preaching, is that there is no salvation in any other Is that as sport word? Help me with scriptures? Now ask what word? This is Bible talking. Neither is their salvation in any order, for there is none or that name on that heaven Queen Moon among men we are by we must be saved. Any preacher who tells you today that there are other ways to salvation, he lied to you. And it's the son of the devil. He doesn't know what it's saying. It's there is in many we go to her. There's no other name on that heaven by. Which given among men. For men to be staying tonight, you must make a commitment to evangelize the gospel. Don't let anybody who know you go to her. If they do, let it. Be by their freeview. But if you don't, be that they met you and went to. Her, the tatimony of the God and the testimony of sound right off living to bring them to Christ. Can we pray now, yes, let's you. Let you. Let hey then never Jesus, please believe this. The whebe you are doing your business, you now discover your step. They start the Arabia and they pointed God on your head. Are you saying it's only Jesus? I use them, will go to her. If the spirit of Martidom doesn't come on. You, I hope if you don't find your step there, and if you do, I hope the spirit of MARTI don't come. But if it doesn't come, say I'm afraid. But the Bibles there clear him that destroy both the body, and so I'm not the one that destroy only the body. Yes, Jesus is the only way. Don't change your conviction. Don't change your conviction. Don't change your You know, I pray, I tell Jesus deliver me from it. Don't let me fall in the hand of any man. But when I pray that prayer, I have to tell Jesus. But if I have to, will press to you with my life, give me grace to start see that. Yeah, it's not I'm a strong man, it's not. It's a Spiritus, the baptism of Martydom. I'm telling you it's not. Just No. If you say that, if that spirit doesn't come on you, you'll be sure you're with death like a child. So don't be proud about it. But pray. Deliver me from ego. But what if I have to with that to you with my life cost me to keep my convictionion, don't let me bat down. You're walking too heaven glantly with the crown of life. Pas that I died daily. Jesus said that we arrest you after appendage, that we kill you. He said, for don't be afraid your way releeve the crown of life. Past that I have thought a good pith I have kept the faith is that there remained from me a. Crown of life. Say that it is a renom crown. It's a witnesses, witnesses who are not just traka, but they died in That's why help people health. Denia was the coompart of your life, because if you don't, if you have great for Cetinia's in Mathidon, you have Christol. Can we pray for one minute the grace to preach thiscase the greast, to provide Salveston to a die w Hello him, Madonna, hello him. Mana, hello him, Thank your father. Can you leave your right and a commitment to Jesus, I will preach the gospel. I will be an agent of Salveston all my life, all my life. Hear me. There are three ways. It's by prayer, with pray. Men into this kingdom, it say, by my gospel, be heed. It is due to them that are lost, whom they thought of this world and blinded your mind. Lets you see and receive the glorious Gospel, which is the image of the invincible gold. The way you unpay them is by prayer, my little children, or put my trapil again in prayer until Christ is from the you. So the one of the words is by prayer. There's second way is by going out to preach. It's a necessity. Lead up on me. War want to be by bretain on the gospel. I communicated to you the counsel of God. I'm delivered of your blow. The third where is by giving your responsible Let your money go to the gospel, the cost of the gospel. Your money is not man only for food, clothes and selt When people come into this kingdom. Let's it be register that you gave towards it. The badle said some women look at three is that they can't the resourceice to the fortunes of the gost. You think Jesus to preach the cosine was the. Word of God. It was punto cry out my kingdom two prosperities. I had this bread upro so when I said, Lord, make me an agent, I know what I'm saying. Give me the grace to pray. I'm pat souls. Give me the ftitude to preach the Gospel in a convicting manner. And Lord, give me the fortitude to deploy my resurfice for the government. The gospiness does spreading fast. They cost too many of helpisy. They are about two point six billion Christmas in the world of a point three billions. Do you know what work we have to do? Divide happy, divide e point three billion by two point six billions. Quickly divide for me and point three billion. Divide that by two point six billions. I want to show you how many goals one kid there is supposed to be resupposed to before if we we win this war. Three point seven works three point seven seven million or what one hundred thousand doing the at traffic. I don't I want, I'm not I'm not looking for resume. I want to give you a exact number. You don't know the work we are here to do, not why we spent thirty five years working for for government. I'm not saying that anything wrong taking a job, but if all your time goes to work for government, to work for institutions that have no implication on itality, you don't know why you're here. How many is that? Huh? Eight point three billion? Divide by two points billio? It's three point one three point one nine. That means everybody you win at three postls. That's all right, but was real the problem? There are two point six billio. I'm not Christians who know about God. That two point six billio are religious Christians who were raised in Christian hopes. So there are continents that are Christian continents, not because they know Christ, they have Christian values. The whole of North America are Catholics. By you God, this costs with them. Find out what is our vasue. They were just read with Christians home, so they treat them to do right, to be kind, to be mess before and they have tied to a Christians. And I'm not saying Catholics are like that. I'm just telling you most Christians are traditional and Christians. Half of Europe is Christians. So that's the number we're talking. If you're talk people who truly know Jesus and are preaching, we. Are not talking to a billion. And then if you talk to us who take the responsibility of evangelisy, we are not up to hundred livido. This is why you must welcome. Your money must go. To so well. I'm not paying gift to charge. Don't know what I'm saying. I'm saying anywhere you see, so Willy can pay happily. Either you are committed or you supported financially by prayer, by throwing out to yourself, and by giving towards this. And if you find a choice that is into so Willy plug your resource is there. Lift your hands toward her Father, Grace, Chrace to be a witness, Chris to be a witness? Is there not many days from now? Your card is in the Holy Ghost and power your shappy witnesses on to me prayers for that place. Don't be quiet, Go ahead and pray. That's very pie. Let's get that that. Oh my, here's that. Take thank your. Where is that grace? In the name of Jesus. The atmosphy is charged power of God wants to move, but we don't have time. If not, we we enter with you today that our last Bible study.
