GOD created MAN in HIS OWN IMAGE. Almost all the problems in our society with MANHOOD come from a LACK OF REVELATION and COMPREHENSION of the IMAGO DEI. When there’s abuse, neglect, murder, immorality, etc. it stems from how people see themselves and see others and the way they treat themselves and others flows from belief. Identity precedes activity. WHEN you KNOW WHOSE YOU ARE, YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE. You’ll never be who God made you to be until you FIRMLY ESTABLISH WHO YOU ARE IN CHRIST. You are ROYAL blood---you are not a slave, you are a son! #2 (40:30) Know who we are fighting against [Ephesians 6:12]. Enemy Profile: Our enemy is the Devil working through our flesh. #3 (41:06) Stay surrendered to the Lord [James 4:7-10] come under His authority. Surrendered to His word & His will. Live holy, humility, complete surrender, allowing Him to be Lord of our lives. There is no victory without first coming under his authority! #4 (41:37) Get Dressed for War [Eph. 6:11-18] Dressed to kill, the full armor of God. Helmet, belt, breastplate, shoes, shield. #5 (42:07) Fight together with your fellow soldiers. You were not meant to fight this alone, link up together with the church & pray together. #6 (42:48) TAKE YOUR PLACE OF AUTHORITY. Joash took the royal throne to lead #7 (43:28) THE VICTORY IS YOURS. YOU’VE GOT WHAT IT TAKES. NEVER STOP FIGHTING. VERSES: Jude 1:3-4 | CONTEND for the FAITH. RAISE the STANDARD. Grace is the empowerment to overcome sin, not a license to lower your standards and cave into sin... 1 Cor. 4:15 | We have plenty of teachers--but few fathers. Teachers say listen to me talk, fathers invite you to join them for the walk. Teachers give information, fathers give impartation. We need men to teach the next generation what it means to be a man. Nehemiah 4:7-20 | There is a fight against the men -- there is an attack of confusion coming against the men of today... We must FIGHT back WITH GOD'S WORD, GOD'S PRESENCE, GOD'S PROMISES---we find the real definition for manhood in God's Word. 2 Chronicles 22-23 | the story of JOASH. You have ROYAL BLOOD in you. YOU are DESTINED to REIGN over the DEVIL! You are called to be a LEADER. REAL MEN worship JESUS, get to church, walk in victory over sin, treat women with respect, speak life to those around them, live with compassion, live with generosity, walk in integrity, keep their promises even when it hurts, take responsibility, honor their father and mother, honor those in authority, stand up for those who can’t defend themselves, take the initiative to be a spiritual leader in the home, the church, and in the community.
