The Transformational Gospel Pt. 5

So this evening we are going to round up our teaching. We started a series we tried to did the Transformation at Gospel, and it's been a glorious time. We've been opening. Layers upon layers of truth and the Lord has been helping us to ascend from one level of glory to another. Praise God. Tonight we are going to round up, but just to give us a quick recap since it's the last session, there a few things we've looked at. Number One, we took our time to define what the Gospel is and the power it commands. Praise God. We thought we defined from scriptures that the word gospel is. From the Hebrew word bisourah, and it's also from the Greek word juan gellion, and the Bible characterizes it as a message that is too good to be true, yet true nonetheless, hallelujah. It's the good news. And it's not just the good news, it's the royal proclamation. So it's the good news that has the power to deliver on the mandated communications. A clear example, I told us is what you liking to in a democratic settling, what you're lik into a presidential pattern when a prisoner is sentenced to death. They are called condemned, condemned criminals, you know. But there's such a scenario where that criminal who is waiting to either be. Shot by firing squad or be. Hoonged, will certainly be set free by the authority of the president. So when you bring that kind of message to a prisoner and say you have been set free, it's too good to be true. What is true, and it's not a prey fool the authority. There is an authority that backs it, and that prisoner can be cleared. That's what you call a gospel. It's called Juan Gellion. Paul was teaching in Romance after one verse sixteen, instead, I'm not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ. He said, it's the power of God onto salvation to every one that believes, to the Greek first, to the jew first, and then to the Greek. Glory to God. So everyone who believes, for said, the Gospel can procure salvation to such a one, Hallelujah. So we all need the Gospel because we all failed. And I also made mention of the fact that it was not just us who failed. The world we live in is also falling. So when the Gospel is received in its full context, he also has the power to impact the world because when we failed, the implication of our fall affected the world. The Bible said in some eighty two, verse five is that they know not in neither what they understand. He's say, I have said he are gods because we are the children of the Mossa. The Bible said the heath is subject to the bondage of corruption and is awaiting deliverance. But in Vesse nineteen he told us those who we delivered the world. He said, the endless expectation of the creature waited for the manifestation of the sons of God. So when the Gospel brings us salvation, that salvation is also. Extended to society. And I said, when the gospel goes beyond saving us and begins to transform society, then the gospel has been preached in its full scope. That's why we call it the transformation a gospel. And I said, the gospel that has the longitude to bring that depth of salvation is three food number one. I said that gospel is the gospel about Christ and the works that he did. Glory to God. That's the first component of the gospel. The gospel that can save humanity and also transform society is the message about the passing of Christ and the works that he did. If we are able to preach Christ, communicate him clearly and accurately, and if we are able to communicate what Jesus has done, humanity will receive it, believe that. Message, and they will be saved. So if you study First Corinthians one, verse twenty three, Bob began to tell us the body of apostolic doctrine, the communications of a postolic message is that we preach Christ. That is Christ and the work that he has done. That's the first component of the gospel. And that's the foundation of the gospel. And I said in preaching Christ, there are four offices that communicate the revelation of Christ. Number one is Christ as God the Son. You have not preached Christ until you are able to paint him clearly as God, because it's eternally coequal with the Father and the Spirit. So John chapter one, verse one, the Bible said, in the beginning was the world. The world was with God, and the world was God. Praise God. And Invest fourteen he said, this world became pleased and dwelt amongst us, and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotting of the Father, full of grace and truth. So the world is referring to is the past thing of Christ. Hallelujah. So if we will preach Christ, we must preach him as God. In John eight fifty eight, Jesus introduced himself as I am. They asked him, who are you? How dare you compare yourself with Abraham? As young as you are? You say, Abraham your father, Abraham, our father saw your day. Are you okay? And I said, before Abraham was I am. They took stones to stun him because they knew what he was saying. He was. He's saying he was. Older than Abraham. He was saying he is God. So they took stones to stone him. In John ten thirty, Jesus said, I am the Father. We are one. They took stones to stone him, because they said, it is making himself equal to God. But the truth is that he is God. So when you study the writings of the apostles, they stated it clearly that Jesus is God. John said it John one, verse one in the beginning was the word the world was with God, the world was God. Paul said it first and Multi three sixteen. Is that great is the mystery of godliness, that God was manifest in the plash. So Paul gourd Jesus God. John caught Jesus God. So as the son of God, he was the errand runner of the Father. He's the one who brought, who administered God's errands. And in this context they came to bring us salvation. So if you don't preach him as son of God, salvation would be impossible. If you don't preach him as God the Son, he will be seen. As a prophet and we won't worship him. The reason we worship Jesus today is because he was preached as God the Son, so we see him as God more than a prophet. The reason we believe we are saved is because their postles preached him as son of God and as son of God. It came to bring us salvation. Now I said, what it means to be son of God is the one who proceeds from the Father. Because there are errands God runs for himself that they cannot delegate to angels or men. Creation is one of it. Redemns on is another. You know, when God was creating the world, there was no injury to serve him. So God was doing the work of God. And the way God does the work of God is that God sits on his throne, he talks, and the world goes to do the work. Because the world is not volume. Is a person. So when Jesus was coming into the world, he was coming as the world. But what happened is that He clothed himself with human pleas so that he can participate here to carry. Out God's assignment. So when we refer to him as Son of God, we are referring to him as God in flesh, or the one who is running the errand of the Father to procure salvation. Praise God. And then I said, we also preach him as son of Man. As son of man, he is the one who represents man in the realm of God. All of deep dimensions of Christ speak. Of his dibility, but in different contexts. As God the Son, he is the one we worship because it is equal with God. As Son of God, he see God what he came to bring salvation to us. Now, as son of Man, he represents man in the realm of God. Because when he served man, he had to bring man up to the assembly of Divinity, so that man can also have his take in God's realm. So he represents us there, although God what he represents us there. That is why it is in the context of son of Man that we are brought into the Kingdom of God. When he said we preach Christ, that means we preach Jesus as God. We preach Jesus as the God who became pleased to bring salvation to man. We preach Jesus as the God who represents man in the realm of God. That's God, the Son, son of God and son of Man. And then finally we preach him as Christ. And I said, as Christ, he is the one who carries the empowerment of God. Because the word Christ is Christos and also in the Hebrew is machiak. It means the anointed one and his anointed. So as Christ, it's not just an aaron ronner, but is the one who carries the empowerment of God. And because it bears that empowerment, they can delegate it to anyone. So if we don't know him as Christ, we cannot carry the power of God. Neither can we represent God on it. Because noticed that as God, the Son, son of God and son of Man, he finished their gender of salvation and left for God. He has a program on ed So God needs men who can represent him. This is why the revelation of him as Christ is important, as the one who has the empowerment of God and can delegate it. So as Christ is the office that empowers us to represent him. Glory to God. This is why the moment Peter said in Matthew. Eighteen, verse sixteen to eighteen. You are the Christ, the son of the Living God, is a pleasure. And gold has not revive this to you. But my father will to say heaven immediately is that on this revelation. I will vieild my church. Now there is a basis for humanity can represent God. I cannot transport this empowerment to you, so that anywhere you are is as good as though God is there. I have given you the abilities that I carry, so that you cannot represent me. It is within the context of the Christ that men can represent God, because as Christ, he bears the power and the authority of Deity. No wonder Colosians two, verse nine. The Bible said, he pleased the Father that the fullness of the god Head should do end in him bodily. So he carries the authority of deity. He carries the fullness of divinity. And anyone includes in himself he can share that authority with him. So fast that we pleach Christ, and I said, every believer must understand who he is. You shall be able to defend scripturally that Jesus is God. You shall be able to defend scriptural scripturally and explain clearly that Jesus is Son of God. You should be able to defend scripturally and. Also explain clearly that Jesus the son of Man. And you also should be able to explain biblically and clearly that Jesus is the Christ, because all of these revelations have implications. If you know him as Son of God, as God the Son, then you can worship him. If you know him as Son of Man, then you are sure you are saved. If you know him as if you know him as God the Son, you can worship him. If you know him as Son of God, then you know you are saved. If you know him as Son of Man, then you know you have a representation in heaven. And then if you know him as the Christ, then you know you have the empowerment and the authority to represent God's interest to you. Today. There are many pastors, apostles, and prophets who think they cannot fulfill their calling because of their father's house, because they don't know how they were commissioned. They were commissions from an office called the Crystals. That's an empowerment within that office that nolifies anything happening in your father's house, praise God. But if you. Don't know, you're ignorant will enslave you. This is why this relation is important. Then first that we preach him crucified. I'm saying this for the last time because I may not preach it here again for a long time, So here it hear it well. Glory to God, where preached Christ crucified, Crucified is the works of Christ. And I said the works of Christ are sevenfold. Number one is the incarnation, where God became man, and because he needed to provide a spotless, justifiable sacrifice, he had to become man because there was no man worthy. Only him could be that man. So he became man to satisfy the claims of divine justice. The wages of shal is death, so man seeing man must die. That's why the Bible said sin came into the world because of the first Adam, so there has to be another Adam to remove sin from the world. So Jesus came to become that Adam. That's the purpose of the incarnation. Glory to God is the first work of Christ. The second work of Christ is his sell lest life, because he needed to live a sein less life. Number one to satisfy what God intended when he created man, so he became the patent for men on the screenth of that. God cannot tell us to live above sins. If Jesus didn't live.
