Their reaction to each opened gift reveals the depths of their desire. Every year there is always that “hard-to-get” limited edition toy! (fill in the blank of the latest trend that leaves parents glossy-eyed in search of it ) This - the unwrapping - this is the stuff of Christmas morning video legend! But then - there are “the other” presents that aren’t as glamorous, flashy or trendy. To the child, they don’t  present the initial  “wow” factor. In fact the child may not even want it. But it is absolutely and often most importantly the very gift they need-and come to appreciate!
