THE KINGLY AUTHORITY

Give the Lord the big hand. Celebrate God's people, God bless you, salude the choir. Halleluiah, Thank you so much, you may be seated. Glory to Jesus. Hello to you, we as crime. Glory to you, we as crime. Oh no, to you, we as crime power and my jesty. Glory. Please hollow. Do you? Weuscrime? To you? We as crime. On to you, we as crime power and my majesty. Loi is. Hollow tonight when we look at the subject of kingly authority, we have studied the concept of spiritual authority. We have studied the concept of the believers authority, we have studied the concept of the priestly authority, and now we want to look at the kingly authority. Remember I told you there are five cadas of authority. Number one is the believers authority. Number two, of course the believers authority is the sonship authority, because all these authorities are actually believers authority, because every believer should work in them at least the first three. Now, number two we said is the priestly authority. Number three we said is the kingly authority. And then number four, which is not for everybody, but for those who are called is the ministeria authority. Then number five, which is the last, is the sovereign authority, which is the realm of God. Every believer should work in the believers authority, the priestly authority, and the kingly authority. Because every believer is a son is expected to be a son. You I believer. You become a child of God when you receive the life of God. But God expects you to grow into sonship. Sonship is not a function of eternal life. Eternal life is the precoursor you have to be born again to be a child of God. But sonship is a function of maturity. As many as are lead by the spirit, they are the sons of God. Sonship is a product of transformation. God works so many times and in divers manners. Speaking time pass on to the fathers by the prophets, as in this last day, spoken to us by who his son, whom he appointed heir of fourteens, and by whom also he made the world, who being the brightness of his glory, the express image. Of his person. You can have the life of God, but you are not transformed enough to mirro God. You can have the life of God. But you have not become you dead to the leading of the Holy Spirit. So salvation makes you a child of God. But leading the leading your ye deadness to the leading of the Holy Spirit. Romance eight fourteen makes you a son of God. So every believer has the life of God, but God expects that through yieldedness, through transformation, and through submission to God's authority, he becomes a son. And when it becomes a song, then he can wield the sonship authority, which is the first level. I'm showing you now why our spiritual experiences are different. We're all born again, but not all of us. Walking authority the first level of authorities for sons, and we call it the believers authority. The second level of authorities also for believers, but it's for those who have gone a bit further priests, because we were made priests as well. First Bitter two nine. He said, you are choosing generation a royal priesthood and holy nation, a peculiar people that you should show forth the praises of Him who has caught you out of darkness into his mavelous life. So you are a royal priesthood. Revelations one siks onto him that washed us in. His blood and has made us kings. And priests, onto God and his father, Revelations five twenty. He washed us, he made us priests and kings. So every believer is expected to be a son, to be a priest and to be a king. And these are not just nomenclatures. These are different fairs, these are different experiences, these are different dimensions of authority. And that's why we took our time. First of all to deal with the general concept of authority. Then we went further to look at the requirements for the believers authority, and then the dimensions of the operations of the believers authority. We now went into the priestly authority. We looked at the requirements for working or operating in the priestly authority, and then we also looked at the dimensions of the operations of the priestly authority. Tonight we are going to look at kingly authority. Now, if you take out time to study carefully all of. These things we've thought, you're gonna see that the expressions of the sonship authority are different from the expressions of the priestly authority. And you are going to see tonight also that the expression of the sonship and priestly authority is different from the kingly authority. There are things you do to function as a song and setting dimensions of authority begins to find expression in your life. There are things you do as a. Priest, and setting dimensions of authority begins to find expression in your life. And then, as you will say tonight, there are also things you do that setting dimensions of authority, you begin to find expression in. Your life as a king. Possibilities, they define scopes of oppression. And for every believer who wants to have holystic experience of what God has planned for him, he or she must understand these concept and work in them. Of course, generically speaking, I told us authority requires fourteens. Number one, availability of power, because authority is the right to use power. Number two jurisdiction because authority only functions within jurisdiction. I'm a pastor, but I can't go to every church in Nigeria and start giving instruction. I don't have jurisdiction. Not why president does. Don't mean you go to any country and start telling the government what to do. You don't have jurisdiction. You have authority, but there is jurisdiction. Then number three we said authority require delegation. Everywhere authorities finding expression it was given. And then number four we said authority requires submission. If you are not submitted, you can't work in authority. The degree of your submission is the degree of your manifestation of authority. And then we said, generically speaking again, in working in authority, there are four dimensions. Number one, we said, the right to represent God. We called that excusia. Number two, we said, the capacity to be fessed in rank, we called that al kae. Number three we said, capacity to exercise governance and rulership. We called that curiotis. And number four we said, the capacity to exhibit esty and glory, and we call that basilios. We took time to deal with all of that. John one twelfth, you find exusia John one, verse one, Colossians one sixteen, you find al ka Colossians one sixteen, you find Curiotes, and then Romance five seventeen you find Basilios. It gave us abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness to king true life, to Basilios, true life. So we've dealt with all of that as a foundation, and then the measures of all of this authority we wield is now subject to the degree to which we step into the cadas of authority, from sonship to priestly to kingship and then ministeria. If we are called so quickly. Tonight, let's begin to look at scriptures as we attempt to understand what the kingly authority is about. The kingly authority is the authority given to believe us by God to rule and to reign in life. It's the authority given to believe us by God to rule and to reign. Emphasis on reigning in life. It reflects dominion, it reflects judgment, and it reflects alignment to divine will and governance. Anybody who is manifesting the kingly authority does not just rule but reign. And he does not just rule and reign. He has capacity to exact God's dominion, to exact God's judgment, and to represent God's government on the face of the earth. You notice that things who were dealing with believers authority and priestly authority, we not spoken about judgment because it takes kingly authority to george. These are some of the lead to. So you are not just bringing things on that subjection. You are demonstrating characteristics that are divine in nature. So there is a point in your life where your enemies may be present. You don't need to have them subdued, but their presence is useless. That's raining. You are bigger than the circumstance. You are literally manifesting traits of divinity, threads of majesty, and it is God's plan. I've shown you before. When the Bible says our glory belongs to God alone and that God will not share his glory, he's talking about the praise that is due to him, Meaning when God does something, God should be acknowledged for it. It's not saying in a holistic sense that God does not share his glory because the first man God created, he gave him his glory. Because when we speak of. The glory of God, yes he speaks of his praise, which is exclusively his. But glory is not just reduced to the praise of God. When we speak of glory, we're also talking about God's nature, God's essence. We are talking about God's authority. We are talking about characteristics that are divine, and if you read your Bible, you'll see that God shared that graciously with us. If He doesn't share. His glory with us, there's no way we can be his children. It will be impossible to be a child of God except as you have the same DNA, So it takes glory for you to even be a child of God. But manifesting that glory is Kingship. Radio Bible Romance, Chapter eight, Verse twenty nine, and thirty. Write these scriptures down. It's important to have a toral understanding in your journey of spirituality. These things were determine the outcomes of your life. Except for whom he did for know, he also predestinate to be confirmed to the image of his son, that it might be the first one amongst. Many brethren Verse thirty. Morever whom he predestinate, then he also called whom he called, then he justified. This is where what theology ends. But he doesn't stop there. He said whom he justified. Then he also glorified. He did say he winned, he glorified. This is kingling realm of oppression. When men see you, they see the attributes of God in you. It is not equality. It's not saying you are God, are equal. It's just saying you are God of the same order. Where you're seeing remain the patriarch. If it tries, it is rebellion is high trisy. It's not equality's order. We are in the same class. We are in the same order. That's what it means. It means he can stand for me, he can represent me, he can stand in my stead. Some may say, okay, he's talking about eternity. The christ is said, I have given them so that they may be one as we are one. So when we are talking kingly realm of life, we are talking the ability to manifest that glory. That's why I said rainy speaks of glorified realm of existence. There are many Christians that if you see, there's no glory in their lives. You can't trust God there. You can't trust success there, you can't trust beauty there, you can't trust dominion there. So while you are asking this course for you are preaching, where is the proof? You say, God is good? I can't see it in your life. You say, God, bless this. I can't see it in your life. You say, God and powers, I can't see it. I'm sick. You are sick, I'm poor, you are poor, I'm sinning. You are seeing. There's no glory anywhere because they have not reason to the kingly realm of life. So when we speak of kingship or kingly authority, we are talking glorified order of existence. And you will need it because if you don't work in God's glory and God's authority, you will meet people on the other side who are working in the authority, the likeness and the nature of Satan. Because we are dealing with devils in human form. That's why, amongst other things, Christ made those kings so that we can reign through life. There are places you get to. They have planned evil against you, but you came with too much glory. Everybody is afraid the moment you show up, until you finish what you want to do and go. You are not even aware that they are planning evil, but they are paralyzed by seeing you. They turn on me. Two twenty five he said, rise here, take off. There are times when you missed your discernment. A car, an aircraft is supposed to crash, but. Because you sat inside, they're not. We not lose. Is capacity to influence society and create culture a shift. See, there may be two apostles in the city, be two believers in the city. There may be two prophets in the city. That is kingly authority. When it is in operation, you are going to see impact. Territorially, a believer can impact people. Kings impact territories Number three. When kingly authorities are in opperasion, you will find righteousness in leadership. Righteousness Proverbs twenty nine, verse two. I'm going to come back to this scripture Isaiah thirty two, verse one. He said, when they righteous are in authority, it's not your demos that are cast out. He said, the people rejoice, so they bring righteousness, justice, equity into territories. These are some of the signs of reviver. When you see revivor know that kings have reason. When you read the wage reviv around that's around nineteen or five or something. Now, right, Evan, what's his name now, Williar Evans Roberts. Now, what's the requirement for working in the kingly authority? Number one. Is alignment to the will of God. The will of God. Can't find extra are aligned to the will of God, and they are committed to the will of God. It imparts on the ranking. Jesus was praying in Matthew sixteen, Thy kingdom, come, Thy will be done on it, because it's a territorial thing. As it is in heaven. This is the getuate to kingly authority. What was the implication of his alignment to the will of God Philippians two, verse nine and ten. God gave him a name that is above every other name, that at the name of Jesus, every niche you bow, and every tongue should confess that Jesus is Lord to the glory of God the Father. You can enter kingship if you still have. A will as far as God's agenda is concerned. When you find those who eventually grow to become kings, they have substituted their will for God's will. As a way of living. A believer can still have his will. He can stand on the revelation of the finished works of Christ. He can use the name of Jesus, he can leverage on his identity in Christ and exact authority. But when you become a king, you already have all of those credentials of a believer. They are looking for high accredentials. God is still finding out to what degree are you willing to submit your will for my will. I know you want to go to that city, but I want you to go to this city. I know you want to do this business, but I want you to save me in this place. That's what to distinguish whether you are Lot or Abraham. Because a Lot is looking at the plains of Sodom and Gomura green grass is what informs it so John, But an Abraham is looking into heaven. God's voice is what determines its direction. Lot at the end of the day, we need to escape with his life from the same city that Abraham will be ransoming by authority. There are many Christians who have not been taught. Not when you are worshiping God, a point comes when he moves from singing. When you are whip in God, A point comes when he moves just from lifting up holy hands. That's why you are worshiping God. A point comes when it becomes your capacity, like Jesus, to substitute your will for His will. That's the initiation into the kingly authority. Number two, what's the requirement for kingly authority? Maturity? There are certain authorities in this kingdom that God cannot give you unless you are mature Galatians. For one, the heir, so long as it's a child, is not different from a servant. He is an heir. He is a king by making. That's why he's not enough to quote. He has made those kings and priests. I'm a king now, no doubt. But are you living as one? The heir or can be a servant if he has not much old in the things of God. Hebrews five two ave to fourteen. Whoever uses milk excet for when you ought to be teachers. You have need of being taught. The first principles of the oracles. Of God and become at such as have need for milk and not strong meat. If you are not mature, you can't have authority kingly authority Isaiah three, verse one to five. When you find territories in bondage, kings are no more. They mature, they're skillful. In the world of righteousters are not. And the Bible shows us is there. For behold the Lord, the Lord of hosts dot take away from Jerusalem, and from Judah they stay. And the staff the host taale of bread, the host tale of water, the mighty man. These are the people who are absent. So resources is first of all absent, But they reasy resources are absent. They reasing. Governance is not present. It's because mighty men man, the man of war, the George, they prophet, they prudent, and the ancient. These ones are lacking. The captains of fifty, the honorable man, the counselor, they coning atificia, the eloquent orator. See, these are the as kills in the world of righteousness when men mature. These are the powers the wield oh orators. They know what to say to someone the heavens. They know how to elogize God. They have stayed in the presence. They know what moves in like the twenty and four elders. No, don't talk. Lie down first. This is the king. Cast your crown. When you ignore your throat and ignore your crown, these ear has become opul Then before you talk, say Holy, Holy, Holy, is the Lord. You are in your class. You are separated onto your name. That's not like you. All things were. Created for your pleasure. We are here because of you. That's orator. They know the language of the spirit. They know what to say to draw out the oracles of God. It takes maturity tarrying in the presence those ones. They don't read it in the textbook. You don't find it in the electron room. Is an oya. The Bible said the ancients, who are the ancients? I write onto you father, because you have known him. That's from the beginning first John two twolve to forty. They are a wise man, they are mature, They understand the world of righteousness. It takes those things for you to be a king. Now look at the implication Asiah three. Read verse four. He said, and I will. Give them children to be their princes, and babes shall rule over them verse five, and the people shall be oppressed. They are no kings because they are no mature. They are not skyful men.
