THE JUSTIFICATION OF FAITH IN JESUS CHRIST

I want to share briefly on what I've titooed, the justification of faith in Jesus. The justification of faith in Jesus. Now, faith, as you all know, is a very crucial component of our faith, of our walk with God. The very work we have with the Lord is called the walk of faith. The moment you are saved and justified. The part that's signated for you to function is the part of faith. They just shall leave by faith. We walk by faith. So in this kingdom, what you believe is superior to what you see. If what you see is not consistent to what you believe, then what you believe a automatically or. So you can wake up in the morning and find things not working as they ought, you have the authority in faith to override it. A tumor was not designater to be in you. So if you wake up in the morning and you find it tumor, the presence of the tumor is the fact. You won't deny the fact that there's the tumor, but you will refuse that tumor to become your reality. So by faith, you can override that tumor and it will leave your body having no choice. And so it's important for believers to have a thorough understanding of the subject of faith because our victory is tied to our faith. In fact, the journey is the journey of faith. The Bible isa looking on to Jesus, the author and the finisher of your faith. The race of life is the journey of faith. He authors it and he finishes it. This is why officials to aid. The Bible tells us that our very salvation made available by grace, is procured through faith ex paid for by grace. Are ye saved through faith? Grace availed salvation, but faith domesticates it. Heart and say you shall have what you believe, whatsoever in your desires twenty fall, which is my emphasy. The Bible said, whatsoever thinks their desire when you pray. So prayer is the moment of trigger. But the foundation of that prayer must be faith. Is that when you pray, believe that. You receive it or receive them, then you shall have them. So if you pray and don't believe, you won't have So you are not just saved through faith. Creating the change you require for a glorious life is the function of faith. And you don't just create change by faith living the absolute victory of life is. The function of faith. In first John five four is that this. Is the victory that overcomes the word e boon our faith. And then if you compare the size, there's no comparison. A mountain is many times bigger than a monster seeds. So the issue of how big your problem is does not exist. So the focus is not your problem. The focus is your faith. The moment you get it right with faith, the problem with vanish and this threat. You are not looking for it today. You already have it. I've shown you several times that it was at the point of salvation that faith was granted Romans. Twelfth, verse three. That was when every one of us received our faith. Where received faith at the point of salvation. The Bible is that for I say, through the. But the problem is that how will the people from SDD know that he sent you. So he has to give you a token. So what he do he will do is that he will either give you a letter or he will give a number for you to call. Now when you go to SDD, your problem is not lack of confidence in the minister. Your problem now is that you have to present something now that you are going to FDDA hope. You know you are no longer relying on the minister. The aspect of the minister is settled. You a pin the letter he gives you. That letter will become your life. You will grade it because when you go to FDA and you say the Minister said give me one hector, they will say for what. Then you now present the letter. You will have the same confidence in the letter as you have in the minister. The minister. The confidence you have in the minister was what or gave you the audacity to act. The confidence you have in the letter because of the authority of the sin is what gives you the audacity to approach everyday and make demand. If you didn't have that letter. The minister can speak, and you may never get the lad. If you go to s day they kick you out. You may never even have the opportunity to see the minister again. So in order for the world of the Minister not to fall to the ground, it gives you a toko when you present that letter. Anybody who defies that letter does not defy you. The person defies the minister, and so that person comes under the wrath of the minister. This is now the dynamic of the oppression of faith war. When you know the character and the essence of Jesus, you trust in Jesus. Then because you trust in Jesus the. Tokens it gives you, You now depend. On those tokens like the name of Jesus, like the word of God. So when you show you present the tocos, your confidence now is not just in Jesus, but it's in your reliance on the toko. There are many believers who believe in Jesus. They don't have a problem in believing in Jesus. The problem is that they don't rely on the tokens that Jesus gives. That's why sometimes they. Feel that token is not powerful enough, they want to add drama, and if you don't rely on the. Token, the token will not be effective. So this evening, I want to show you the credentias of Jesus that justifies your belief in him. And then I will show you the token that we gave us for which you will depend on in order to command the results of faith. So what is in Christ that makes us believe in Christ? Song that whosoever believe that in him should not perish but have everlasting life. So in getting resource by faith, you begin by believing in him. So you must know him. You must understand who he is so that you can trust in his character. If you don't know who he is, and if you don't understand his character, you can never walk in for you even if you have it, you will walk in it. Whoever believe that in him will not feerish, but however lasting life. John for Him Verse one, Let not your heart be troubled. Believe in God, believe also in me. If you read the Bible, you will find strategic moments where it was okay for Jesus not to respond, but compassion won't let him. John eleven thirty five. He shows up in Lazaross's tomb. First sister doubted him, second sister doubted him. It was justifiable for him to work with But the Bible said, and Jesus wept. There was too much compassion to leave the own believers the way they are, or to leave Lasaros in the tomb. If it works the way it was justifiable. What do you see? They want him to defy the law of Moses so they can kill him. That was a good place to walk away. Now before wisdom spoke Compassion's book, Jesus could leave the woman because they responn her to death. So even though there was a law that stopped him, legit legitimately from intertaining compassion wounded, and Jesus sat down and began to brood. He went back to the lecture. They still have of wisdom before they foundation, So what the tet that wisdom? Compassion? And as he was rising on the ground, he dug deep into where the law came from and what the existed before the law. And he stood up and asked them him that he's without saying captive first toon. All of them escaped. When he thought that they had all gone, he not put the law aside. It's the woman. Is there nobody here to condemn you? The woman said He They said, neither do I condemn you? And she looked at the woman. I don't support your in lipity, but my compasison would't let me go and see no more. When we trust Jesus, it's because we have seen that. In him is loving kindness. In him, it's compassion. This are the thought reason that our faith lingers on See when you find somebody who everybody has given upon in the hospital is about to die. But is he holding onto a strand of life? That faith is not great faith. That faith is faith. Standing on compassion. He knows that one way or the order, God will remember him. One way or the order God we see him. See when you see people who give up Ellie, they don't know the compassion of God. The reason some of us linger in our faith is because somewhere in our hearts we know God is loving him. God is loving His love won't let him let me go. If you don't know these things, your faith will not be secty, Your faith will. Not be put in pose. That God commends his love towards us. That why we were yet in us is that Christ died for us. And they know that if they. Touch it, even if you are a motherer, that twenty you will remove it and give them. So every beggar believes that man has a measure of love still remaining in him, no matter how down. He is. Not the threat of the beggar. And we are not beggars, but we know that our God and. Break this us with an everlasting love. This is the first justification for your faith. Number two. Is his treathfulness. If Jesus speaks, he commits to his words, even if he has to die for it. I am the Lord, I change not for the children of Jacob are not consumed. So the reason we trust him is because we know it is not just about us. In his lord, it's about us, but in his faithfulness, it's about him. So when Jesus tells you you will not die, he has moved the battle from your realm to his realm. So your staying in life now is not just about you. His integrity is invested. And when we started the character of Jesus in scriptures, even if he has to die for his words, he does. Look at Philipius chapter two, verse eight, and look at Matthew chapter twenty six, reported to forty five, you will know that. Jesus dying for humanity was not his will. It was the will of the Father. But he had made a commitment to the Father that if you send me, I will go. If you ask me to die for them, I will die. So even when it became this be cold, his faithful nature wouldn't let him back out. Remember he had the right to back out, and it was not going to be rebellion because that was his agreement with the Father. That's why he said, I can ask the Father now and he will deploy. To a legions of angels. So in the agreement he had with the Father, at any. Point you change your mind, it's okay, that was why he didn't say I will fight my way out here we ask the father. That means the Father was waiting for him to say I won't do it again, and it would steep falling into the transaction. But when Jesus says I will even need he has to die if we die. So when it was heavy on him, he went back to the father. If it's your will, if it's based on my will, I don't want to do this. But the agreement says, if your will remains sacrossant, then I will. So let it not be my will, but die. And the fat that didn't change his mind, and Jesus went to the cross. So the person you are trusting him is not one who changes his mind if it tells you I will, if he costing his life, he will die and he won't regret it. So why do we have faith? We have faith because we know in the character. Of Christ is loved. Why do we have fed in him? We have fed in him because we know in his character his faithfulness. He will ever change his mind. Look at one stat and came to give him a better negotiation. Matthew Chapter four, verse one to a level home down to me, I'll give you the earth and all the glories. Three times he was tempted temptations that no man before him has been able to resist, but the faithful nature will let him. Three times he rejected the temptations of compromise. So, when you have faith in Christ, what justifies that pace is this faithfulness. What justifies that pace is this loving nature. I don't know what you are going through, but the Bible said, we are not of them that dropped back. Onto petitions and said, we continue to the saving of the soul. Even if it looks like it is over. It is not over unless Jesus says is over. And the good news is that he has not said so. Rather, he has said it can be over.
