The Glory of Intimacy with God

And so today I want to share on the glory of intimacy with God. Praise God, the glory of intimacy with God. While I was. Preparing for this semon and this service, I took time to x ray my work with God for the past ten years, fifteen years, and I realized one thing that has been constant in my spirit, one yearning that has been constant in my spirit is that borning desire to have a tangible walk with the Holy Spirit, to have an experience, a consistent experience with God, an experience so rich that I can bank my life on. It has always been my desire to be able to talk to God at any time, and to always be able to hear God, and to experience his presence, and to experience Him to a degree where I can represent Him and reflect his reality to my world. That has been the most consistent bodying in my heart in all of my work with God. Now this is not something I put in myself, but I've discovered that has been my desire. Any day, anytime you ask me what do you want without missing word consistently as you be able to tell you that I want to keep experiencing God. I don't want a Christianity where you are full of unsettainties. You don't know whether if you talk to God he will hear you or whether he will reply. You don't even know when last you heard from God. When you have a challenge, you rather run to men than to run to God, because you are not even to show if you go to God anything will come out of whatever it is you got to do in the secret place. And then you walk around the world in your job, in your career, in your everyday dealing, and nobody can trace God to you because you can reflect God. I feel that is the worst form of existence. There's nothing that will give you fulfillments in life if you have not come to that point where you know that you know Him and you know that you are known of Him, and this intimacy can produce tangible results that can impact people and impact your world. I think that should be the body of anybody who is a spiritual person, and I bless the Lord that he has put this body in my spirit. Honestly, I become troubled when it becomes difficult for me to hear from God. In fact, I. Become literally restless when I begin to sense you know this feeling of dryness and away from God, not necessarily because God moved, but we can move away, you know. Jesus speaking to us in a new trustament is that the Holy Gods are come to live in you and with you forever. So God is always with you. But experiencing God is something you have to labor to sustain. And so when we are talking about intimacy with God, we are talking about a spiritual our concept that involves a deep personal relationship with God characterized by love, knowledge, devotion, and trust in God. Intimacy it's not just a theological understanding that God is in you and God is with you. That is very correct, but intimacy be beyond that theological truth, is a deep personal relationship with God, and that relationship is characterized by your love for Him, your increasing knowledge of His being, your devotion consistent devotion to Him, and your faith and trust in God. When these things are in place, then it means you have a relationship with God. And if you don't have these things, it means your existence is not just a fruitless existence, but it's a frustrated existence. In fact, Jesus was speaking in Juhn chapter fourteen, verse eighteen. He was talking to his disciples, and he said, I will not leave you as ofphans. I will not leave you comfortless, he said, but I will come. And he showed us how he came. In Vest. Twenty six of that scripture, he say, how we pray the Father and he will send you the holy goos and. Not that comforter. And so Jesus is telling us that anybody who does not have an experiential relationship with God is an off fan on the face of the earth. That person is living like a hopeless entity. He's living a life that will never bring joy, satisfaction of fulfillment. And this is why you see that people who appear to be making it in life, when they approach the time of their departure from it, the vacuum of their soul is revealed. You know, most of the things. You see and envy about people who don't know God and you call living the life is actually an attempt of feeling the void in their soul. That's why you see them. The one who attend another party every weekend, the one who travel to a location somewhere. They are just looking for all kinds so fun because there's a vacuum. They've never found rest. They are like demons that are moving in dry places, so they are looking for things that will bring comfort. But you see, comfort for the soul is only achieved when God feels that void. That's how we were designed, and this is why intimacy becomes the most Jesus said, anyone who does not have a rich relationship with God is an old fan on the face of the earth. And this is not something that cannot be achieved. When we look at scriptures, we see men who have worked with God richly and experientially. In fact, the Bible, speaking in Genesis chapter five, verse twenty two and twenty four, he told us that Ennoch worked with God after he begot Metusella for three hundred years, and then he begot sons and daughters. Enoch, a man worked with God consistently for three hundred years. That means it's able to have a rich relationship with God. In verse twenty four, he went for that to tell us it's the Enok walked with God and was not. Why is it? Because God to him, the intimacy was so deep that a point came. God have vested him from among men glory to God. This is what life is about. And if you started the life of the patriarchs, he would discover this is what stood. Them out with God. In fact, intimacy is what makes me choose my favorite Bible characters. And that's why when you hear me print most of the time, I'm talking about Abraham, I'm talking about Moses, I'm talking about Daniel, I'm talking about David, I'm talking about Elijah. This man had touched a rich work we got. These were men that could tell you, wait, let's go and talk to God. And they know that if they go there and come back, they will talk to God, and then we hear from God. And sometimes these were my tasks of life and death. But there was this assurance that they know their God. And down there eleven thirty two, the Bible said, they that do know their God, he said, they shall be strong, and they shall do exploit. In fact, I realized that the work of faith is actually a work of intimacy because this same Ennoch we talk about him in he Brews chapter eleven, verse five and six, say the way the Bible puts it, he said by faith, Enoch was translated that he should not see dead and was not found because God that translated him. He said, for before its translation, he had testimony that he pleased God. How are you seeing this? This guy knew, based on his work with God that he was pleasing to God, and he was talking about it. Imagine a man comes to you and tell you, brother, God is pleased with me. God loves me God, God desires me to have a relationship. What kind of what is your existence? Is that? And in the sixth of that scripture, the Bible now told us that that work of Enoch is fa That's why I say, but without faith, it's impossible to please God so and not please God because he walked with God. So a work with God is actually faith. This is why many people who don't have a work with God are trying to mechanically generate fait. They pick two three scripture and quote it. They don't see the result because it's not a mechanical team. It begins from intimacy. It's an overflow of your relationship with God. He say, whoever come met to him. See the way he's describing faith, whoever come med to him? So faith is to come to him. Then you believe that it is, then you believe that it was those you seek him. So it's all about seeking, it's about coming to him, it's about believing that it is. We miss the subject of intimacy, and that's why most things don't work in our lives. Do you know? The sentence of everyone who is justified in Christ is to live by faith. The Bible said, they just shall leave by faith. So if you say you are justified, if you say you are born again, if you say you are a child of God, the Bible said, you have one way of existence is to work with God is to live by faith. Glory to God is to keep coming to him, is to keep seeking him, is to keep believing that he is. Then the byproduct. Of that intimacy is that He rewards you with all of his bounties. Harberch Chapter two, verse four, Romance one seventeen, Galicians three eleven, Hebrews ten thirty eight. They just shall leave by faith. This is the cry of the wise men of old. When you study the scripture is replete. The philosopher, speaking in Songs of Solomon chapter one, from these two to four, he say, let him kiss me with the cases of his mouth. My goodness, Hey, are you saying the debt that this man traveled in God. He say, for thy love is better than whine. All of the pleasure that the kings of the earth. He said, the love of the Father is better than that. He went to vest We said, because of the savle of thy good ointment, thy name is as ointment. Fourth, therefore the virgins love you. This guy had they walk with God somewhere that when you call the name of God, he so receives it like a perfume, like an aroumor. He said, because of these, those who are consecrated, they seek you. Invest four of that scripture, he told something that. Blew my mind. Men can be intoxicated with God. Songs of Solomon one verse four. The Bible said, can you open the scripture? He said, draw me. We will run after the He said. The king brought us into his chamber. We will be glad and rejoice in d We will remember thy love more than wine. He said, the oppright love thee. We will remember thy love. So there's no pleasure in this world that beats intimacy. So I'm pretty body who is of God must cultivate a work of intimacy with God. There are enormous blessings attached to intimacy with God. But before I talk about these blessings, what is intimacy? What is this work with God? What is this deep personal relationship with God that is characterized in love, knowledge, devotion, and trust? What is it about? If somebody asks you today do you have an intimate work with God? Will you say yes? If you say yes, what are the factors that defines intimacy? In order to help us understand what this is so that we begin to practice it consciously, I want to give you tateen articles of spiritual intimacy. Anybody who has an intimate work with God. These are the things that defines your existence, and if you know them, you can practice it. Listen. As we begin to grow in God and begin to challenge spirits and with existential issues, you will know that Christianity is not emotionalism. You know, it's at the level of babyhood Christianity that you think it's all about your emotions. Now, emotions are beautiful. God gave us emotions as they taste boards of existence. This is what makes us appreciate existence. But what we're dealing with here is deeper than emotions. You can be highly emotional yet not be intimate. Like I told somebody, you can be highly emotional and not be anointed. That's why you feel so much emotion. You command demons, they go nowhere. You feel so much emotion, your command cancer doesn't demateterialize. You feel so much emotion, your command bones, they are not here. That is to tell you that although emotion is part of it because God allows it to help you enjoy the process, but the reality is deeper than emotion. So when we are talking, intimacy with God is beyond crime because you heard a song that appeal to your soul. There are scriptural articles that defines what intimacy with God represents, and I give you thirteen of them very quickly. As we begin to proceed. The first article for intimacy is consistent seeking of God. When you find a man who has a relationship with God, he so is always. Seeking and pursuing after God. Any time the desire, the hunger to seek after God begins to die, your intimacy with God has been affected. In fact, it's an indicator that you are no longer working. In a deep experience with God. Philippians chafter three, verse ten, look at the burdying of the power. His body was not to be popular, His body was not for to be the biggest apposon in his generation. It said that I may know him and the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of his suffering being made conformable onto his death, that I may know him. The God wanted to partake with Christ even in his death. I want to experience every dimension of Jesus. So it's a hat posture. When you find a man who is intimate with God. The heart is always seeking God, not because God is lost, but because he never has enough of God. The more he experiences God, the more he wants to experience God. And God told us that is the formula of having the work with him in Germany twenty nine, verse thirteen. He say, and you shall seek me and find me when you shall seek Me with all your heart. So you see that you are in a place where your heart. Is all out for God. You can't rest. You never get to that point where you are satisfied. This is why you know people who on fire for God based on their pursuit rock guard and personate pursuit of God. I remember when we began to encounter God, my goodness. We could attend. Spiritual program from Monday to Monday, from Sunday to Sunday. We were never tired. If you like preach for ten hours, we are there. Every scripture you open, he enters our soul like honey. Because the heart is seeking more. The heart is sick. This is what God condemned churlgy and ephisos for. He say, you are doing a lot of exploit. You say, what you have forgot? Your first love, that desire, that seeking hap posture has God. You are now after preaching. You are now after popularity. You are now after blessing. He said, you've lost it. If you find an. Intimate man, he always desires and yen for more of God. In Proverabs eight seventeen, he say, I love them that love me, he say, and those that seek me early shall find me. So the first indicator that you have an intimate work with God is that your heart burns for God. There is always a desire to seek Him, to know Him more. When that desire becomes numb, and know that your work with God is on the attack. The second article for intimacy is love and devotion. Sicking is a type of love. But when it becomes a lifestyle of deliberately as in creating a space for God in your life on a daily basis. Know that you have intimacy. That's where devotion comes in. Jesus was teaching on this subject in Mat two twenty two, verse thirty seven, and he said not to them. He said, dou shall love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, with all thy soul, with all thy mind. If you read the same scripture in the Book of Mark. He added, with all thy strength. So when you find an intimate person, his life is devoted to the pursuit of God. He's not just the seeker. It has become his way of life. And so there are articles that suggest devotion. Number one is prayer. So there's nobody who is intimate with God that does not spend time in prayer. Because prayer, for you is not asking God for things necessarily. That's a place for asking pa So Jeffret was teaching us on Tuesday. You begin by asking, but there are deeper rems. That is the sik in prayer. There is the knocking them in prayer where you say, I stay here with God. A man that dwells in the secret place of God that is a devoted life. You are devoted to the way and the culture of prayer. Someone forty five. As it is said, the Lord is nigh onto them that call upon him and to order call upon him. In truth, So you see, these are people who are devoted to prayer. They are day and night, they are calling upon the Lord. The Bible said, the Lord is not on to them. The Lord duels with them, the Lord leaves with them. They carry his presence like a canopy. The second dimensional devotion is study. You can't say you are intimate with God and you are not devoted to study. I'm not talking reading to go and preach. I'm talking reading to such the depths of God. I'm talking reading to know him more. I'm talking studying to find the unsuchable mysteries of God. One O five. The guy did business with the word of God on he came to a point. He said, die ward is a lamp onto my feet and a light onto my path. That means I don't have a life outside your world. I move based on the illumination that the world gives to me. You think you can get here without being devoted to study. There is not a place for people who hear scriptures that men of God quoting message. This is not a place for people who get one or two scriptures because somebody quoted it or they saw it somewhere. It is a place for those. Who sit down with the world because they have come to a point where the world is their philosophy. The world is their inspiration, the world is their orientation, the world is their compass for navigation. This is intimacy devoted life to God. And that devotion is first of all in prayers. Then it's in study, Then it's also in fasting. Joe Chapter two, verse twelve and fourteen. He said, therefore also now said the Lord, turn here even to me with all your heart, in fasting and weeping and moaning. It say, and render your heart, and not your garments. It say, turn onto the Lord your God, for he is gracious and messiful, slow to anger, and great in kindness, and repented. Him of the evil. He say, who know it? If you will return and repent and leave a blessing behind even in meet offering, and a drink offering on too the Lord your God, he said, when you turn to God in first thing, most likely he will also turn to you. So when you find people who always have an intimate work with God, they keep turning their hearts to the Lord in the place of fasting. And that's why the face of God is always shining upon them. So you can't pray, you can't study. You can fast as a way of life. And God is not experientially a reality of your existence, It's not possible. And then devotion also speaks of service and fellowship. When we gather together like this, serving the Lord a tree gods levels of intimacy. Matthew eighteen, verse twenty. The Bible said, for we are two or three, I gathered together in my name. He said, there I am in the midst of them. So when you find those who are intimately go they are committed to a life of service. And when intimacy begins to die, you begin to struggle with service. I remember some ten twelve years ago, were we'll go to church. There's no there's no money for transport. Where's that locksy? Is it not where you eat that you talk of transport. When we finish, we track our way home, track kilometers. Sometimes when you get to home you are exhausted. I remember once upon a time I tracked them from church at night. When I came to the house, I fell on the floor. I couldn't even take off my garment. There was this copion on the rock where I was left. I felt something tricked me at the back. Twice I did. I was too tired. My weight killed the copion. When I woke up in the money, that was when I discovered I slept on this copyon. Thank God, I was wearing something tick. You have been terrible. What next copyon? Died? I was too tired. I couldn't stand up. When I woke up in the morney, it became a testimony. I snapped it and took to George. I see everything gives you joy Today you tell people come to the House of God and say I'm tired. I don't have transport. You don't. There's no fire bonding this idea. Oh my God, if that. Thing is raging, it will be your strength the next day, wake up, go out to do more. Because there is a passion. There is a love question that is devotion for God. And by the message of God, we have carried down to see you till you did glory to God. Intimacy with God. I remember those days where I was living somewhere. My carding knew gre that's something was living with me. He came back from George. He was so tired he didn't close the door. I'm not saying doing it. I'm not telling you what it means to love the Lord with all your strength. He came back. He left the door open, and my older brother came to the house. He looked at him. He was on the floor sleeping. These people with George. What is going on here? It was the next day he realized that imagine, deeps came. But there that dwelled in the secretness of the most Ie. They are bide under the shadow of the Almighty. There is protection for them, Glory to God. But I'm just telling you something. Listen, you must be devoted in service. You must be devoted in study. You must be devoted in prayer. You must be devoted in first thing. You can't say you love God. You are intimate with God and your first once in a month. Really you are you a seeker? No, No, that's not how it works. Intimacy, love and devotion. The TORD article for intimacy with God is worship and adoration. When you find a man that loved God, when you find a man that works with God. See, the teing breaks out of your spirit when you' say out of your belly, shia flow, rivers of living waters. One of the dimensions is adoration, is worship. See there are times when songs are plain in your spirit. You have to go and look for the lyrics. You don't even know them. They just break out of your spirit. Because the service does not begin and end when you came to tourchu activities are going on in your spirit consistently. There are times when the team just breaks out of you in a place that you should be doing what you are doing, but you have to be disciplined to control it because of intimacy with God. John four twenty three to twenty four. He said, but the hour comment and now is when the true worshipers shall worship the further. We're in spirit and in truth. If you read the original rendition of this scripture instead, they shall enter the spirit and worship Him in spirit. So it's a life in the spirit. That means at all times your spirit Man is enveloped. It's a for the father's secret search to worship him. For God is spirit. And dead, that worship him must worship Him in spirit and in truth. This is what Paul was speaking of in Officials eighteen and nineteen. It's a being not drunk with wine, wearing his excess. It's a bob be filled with the spirit. How do you get so much of God around you? How do you get overflowing with God? It says, speaking to yourselves in psalms, in hymns, in spiritual song, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord. Singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord. There are times when you just you are worshiping, and then you just remember the blessed, the blessedness of God. And while you are working, it is not church, it's service in the heart. We bless your Lord, you are Holy, and forever as you are singing tears, you know this one is not the song somebody's. It's your speeded connecting with the depths of Abbah. Oh, Oh, forever you are gone, will bless you, Jesus, will bless your Lord. You are hold, you are hollow, and forever you are you. Bless you Lord, you are. We bless you Lor Lord, you are, You are God, And forever you are gone, we shout halle. H Hande Lord, hallelujah m. You. Oh, I'm teaching you these things because you can practice it. You can practice it. Oh, my God, you can practice because your spirit needs to be educated. Your soul needs to be educated about the things of God. And so when you see the way the scripture presented, you weave it into your life. Practice it. This is what the elders knew. That's why you hear them speak of quiet time. There is a time where they we draw and they are quiet in God's present so that their spirits can minister to the Father. He said, training, you train your spirit. Man. Look at what they are doing in the tron room. Revelations, fourth verse eight to verse eleven. They just got around, they say, And the four beasts at each of them six wings about him, and they were full of eyes within, and the rest not day and night, saying Holy, Holy, Holy Lord, God Almighty, Which was, which is? Which is to come? Say? And when those beasts give glory and honor and tanks to him that sat on the throne, who live it forever and ever, They said, the four and twenty elders fell down before him that sat on the throne, and worshiped him that lived it forever and ever, and cast the account before the throne, saying, adation is going on thou at word the O Lord, to receive. Glory and honor and power. For thou hast created our things, and for thy pleasure they were created. You think they're in the thronroom, by chance, there is a courture there, there's a civilization. Anybody who carries God's presence. Is a man overflowing with adration. I'm showing you through spirituality. This is beyond the motion. It is a life. It's a colture. It's a civilization, a civilization of seeking and continually seeking, a civilization of love and devotion, a civilization of adoration to the. One who sits upon the room. Oh my God, this is where they know your debt, because when it comes to adoration, many times you don't learn it. It is your spirit appreciating God based on how much of him. You know. You'll see that when we begin to adore God, we will be separated into different cators or worship. You can adore beyond the much of Him. You know. You don't just sit there and stand fantasizing over diamond when you have not seen one. You don't fantasize o our cars if you have not seen them. But when you see a car and you understand the luxury that the car commands, you can sit on your own and your mind will be indicted of that car. Because you have seen it, you have entered. For those who have an intimate work, we go, this is what happens to them. There are times when you just sit down and the majesty of God becomes redly to you. You will break into tears. Oh my God, thank your Father. Intimacy that are more like yous of intimacy, And if you are intimate with God, these things will define you. Say sometimes you don't even have words. They're just walking around and you're just chanting, chanting. The chance may not be coherent. Is your spirit talking to the spirit of God? You're just talking your You're just sums, hymns, melodies, all sorts, are just breaking out of your spirit. You think the people who did those things, they practice it. He's a river. It's a river. But as you plan it and develop it and practice it, gradually you come to a point where the spontaneity begins. Those people who did these things, they've grown to that level. And that's why every time you you follow some of these things, God becomes three to you because it came from somewhere. Number four, Intimacy with God is commanded by faith and trust. If you don't build faith, there's a level in God you can never. Reach he Brews eleven, verse six. But without faith is impossible to please him. He said, for whoever come to God, so those who come to Him, they come by intimate by faith. So faith is the key. That's why I told you intimacy is actually the work of faith. Whoever come back to him was what believe that it is, And it's the rewarder of them that diligient is sicky. See, this is why most of us are so emotional. Yet we don't have a relationship with God because we don't believe. And because we don't believe, we don't seek him. We can we can't approach whoever commeent to him. But first of all, so the key to coming is faith. It's a trigger for intimacy. He Brews three, verse twelve. He said, take his brethren, lest there be any of you with an evil heart of unbelief, departing from the Living God. So the moment faith dies, men depart from God, and the moment faith is activated, men are drawn to an intimate work with God. Some seventy three when he says, but it is saying, it is good for me to draw near to God. I have put my trust in the Lord God, that I may declare all that works. You draw near when you put your trust in Him. People who trust in other things, they run away from God to seek refuge in those things. But some of us that God is our all and all. We have to call upon His name day and night. So our faith becomes a trigger for intimacy. Number five obedience. I'm sure you why some people are so emotional. They think they have an intimate work with God they don't have. Are you seeing that all? I'm sure you hear. Prayer, as important as it is, is one not of many. There is a heart that seeks God. Then there is a devoted lifetime were prayer, study firsty and services. Then there is faith and trust. Then there is adoration flowing from your spirit. Then there is obedience. Look at how Jesus puts it in John fourteen fifteen and twenty one. He say, if you love me, if you ex claim that you want to have a relationship with me. He say, keep my commandments Invest twenty one. Say he that hat my commandment, and keep pet them. He said, it is here that loved me. And he said, it is here that love me, that that shall be loved of my father. And I will love him, and we manifest myself to him. I will love him, and I will manifest myself to him. You can be working in rebellion and say you have intimacy with God. There are many people who are so disobedient to God's instructions. But when they come on that an atmosphere, aware they are singing some songs that have melodies that appear to their soul. You find them wee pin and waiting, and the Adians are looking at them. You. This is this thing happening to his biological process. If we only trigger intimacy, if you begin that journey with repentance. But if it is all about emotion, you don't have the work with God. And the moment you leave that atmosphere, you will know that you don't have a relationship with Go. You want to build intimacy, you must become very fast in paying God John fifteen ten says, if you keep my commandment, you shall abide in my love, even as I have kept my father's commandment and abide in his love. So one of the healthier is more like you. For intimacy is obedience. When you find men who are obedient to God, God is near to them. They and hear God any day, anytime, even when they are not asking. God keep speaking to them because he knows that if he speaks, they tremble at his world, and his word means something to them. Glory to God. But find people who are disobedient to God. They shout and do everything they know, yet the presence of God is cursed in their lives. Glory to God. The six morelachu of intimacy is knowledge. The more you know God, the deeper your walk with God begins or gets. John seventeen Ve's three Jesus speaking, he said, and this is life eterner. He said that you might know D, that they might know D the only through God, and Jesus wume you've sent. So you don't have a life in the spirit. You don't have a relationship in the spirit if you don't know God. Lord. Life is powerful in the realm of the spirit. There is a knowledge that can separate you from God. You read Genesister three from verse twenty two. In particular, he said, the man has become like one of us. What happened verse twenty two, Genesis three twenty two. He has become like one of us, knowing what good and evil? Before he stretches his hand to take the tree of life, let us send him away from here. So they say, not edge you have that separates you from God? And there is and not that. Not let you have that draws you to God. In this scripture, the Bible shows us that the knowledge of life draws you to God. The knowledge of good and evil takes you away from God. And if it doesn't take you, God himself will kick you away. That's why Jesus said, life e turner is to know him. Are you following? So the more you know God and know about the things of the Spirit, the stronger you're intimacy with God. In fact, there are certain things you hear about God, it will awaken you. There are certain things if your spirit just becomes aware of them, energy and life. Surges into your spirit. This is why people who have intimacy with God find them pursuing truth. Pursuing truth the key he said, by the truth, sell it not because they know that dear ring is the strength of their work with God. When a man's spirit is dry of revelation, that man's. Work with God begins to die. But the moment his spirit is awaking to truth, you see that his relationship with God also becomes stronger. Some one O five I quote it already for you. It's a thy world. The knowledge of Thy being and thy ways is that it's a light, a lamp onto my feet, and a lamp lamp onto my part. Number seven more like you of intimacy is the fear of the Lord, no matter how emotional you are in God's presence. If you don't obey God, if you don't fear God, if you don't grow in the knowledge of God, you have no relationship with God. And you may think it's a joke until there is an sue that you need God's manifest presence to create a change. That's why you will know how dry of God you are. And this is the undoing of many Christians. They think they know God so much until there is any an issue that only God's manifest presence can make the difference, they not discover that God is not in the ecosystem. They will finish doing all the talking, doing all the charade. God will show. It's like the experience of the prophets of bar May that day not come see the audacity Elijah heart. If you think being chrystal centric begins and end with knowing about the person of Jesus and knowing about the finished works of Christ, your doctrine is not complete. Because when you know the person of Jesus and you know the finish works of Christ, you'll become like Christ. Now that you have become like Christ, you must live like Christ. So the principles of Christ and the ways of Christ is part of being chrystocentric. And Christ leaves sacrificial glory to God. This is why the New Testament believer must live sacrificially.
