THE FIRE OF GOD

Tonight. I know it's the last night, but I have a body in my spirit to just share with you briefly because the subject we are considering is a very sensitive subject and one that can be easily abused, and we need to understand it because a lot depends on our understanding of these realities. And this is why I want to take out time, maybe another twenty thirty minutes, just to shed light on this subject so that you understand it and understand it in a functional and applicable manner. Then we trust God for a bit of ascensions and importations and activations. Before the prophet comes up to speak over the land and speak over you. One of the challenges I've noticed in the Christianity that we practice today is the fact that it is highly emotional yet very very ineffective when you deal with existential issues. And you see any Christianity that cannot effectively affect existential matters, it's not a verifiable Christianity and it's not a dependable Christianity. And so I don't see why you are praying but you are not transformed. I don't see why you are praying and you are not having encounters. I don't see why you are praying and you are not creating change when there is a crisis. That prayer for me is a religious prayer and at best is far as citizen. And so every dimension of Christianity must have applicable aspects and applicable enough for us to verify glory to God. And so every subject I deal with today, I try to understand it from scriptures and know what the sense of that subject is and also know how to apply it. Because I tell you there will be evil days, and when evil days come, that is when the effectiveness and the efficacy of what you have known and practice over the years will be put to test. And unfortunately, many when triers and tribulations come, they are Christianity cannot rise up to the occasion, and the reason is because most of the things we do are largely emotional, not spiritual or scriptural. I tell my people spirituality is scripturality. If you cannot find its root in the scriptures, you cannot apply it to your life. And you may enjoy it, especially when you are young, because a lot of release of adrenaline can be emotion when you are engaging what you are doing. But it's in the face of crisis we know whether what you are doing is functional and whether it has the backing of the Holy Ghost or north. It's my prayer that people will not just leave this meeting tonight emotionally charged, but truly set on fire for God, so that they can apply that fire in. Their respective spheres of influence glory to go. And so it's important for us to look at the subject of spiritual fire because it holds a lot of benefits. It's not another reviver topic we like talking about. You know, when a person spoke about the unquenchable fire or the un ending fire, I said, this is it. We need to understand what fire is. We need to understand how to sustain spiritual fire and We also need to understand how to deploy spiritual fire, because if we don't know this, we will be excited until the day of trouble. And brothers and sisters, heymy, I speak to you from the place of body. I've been there. We have people are excited over a lot of spiritual things. But crisis came and you weep and weep and hide in quietness and in silence, in secret, and you are wondering what you are doing, whether it is true or false. I have been there. If you are looking for a man who is. Sold out, I have been in that place where I abandoned everything. People like us have gone to live in prayer centers. We have gone to live in prayer mountains. We have gone to live in prayer camps. And most of the things we do was with a lot of intensity, but lead to no understanding, and so we could not apply them in the day of trouble. We almost fail. If not for the messy of God, I won't be standing here. There was an occasion where I was hit by attack and I deteriorated to a point where I went into alcoholism. In twenty ten, when my mom died, she was hospitalized. I kept looking at her. Where is this God that we have been proclaiming? Everything I thought I knew could not produce the answer I needed, and she died helplessly. I deteriorated, relaxed into alcoholism, until in the club the spirit of the Low spoke to me. He said, the wages of sin is death. That was how God delivered me from there. So I know what I'm telling you when I speak to you like this, I talked from bodies, so that the day when you need to show your God, she will not have him. He said. My people perish for the lack of knowledge. The people of God can perish. He say, if you faint in. The day of it is not. Because your God is not strong. It's because your own strength is little. See this is why when you engaging spiritual things now, insist to understand how these things work. Not the dynamics, no, the application. Don't just be excited, because when you're excited, you are a time bomb waiting to happen, and the devil will watch out for a season that is most strategic in your life and strike you. That means, if you truly are set on fire, these things will become natural in your life. Number one, Spiritual fire brings empowerment for kingdom service. When you find a man who is on fire, he does supernatural things with his Every time you attempt to do supernatural things by the energy of the flesh, it means fire is lacking. Jesus told these disciples look twenty four to forty nine. Tarry until you I endured power from on high. Because when you go out, you are not going out as lecturers. You are going out as witnesses. There will be demons to cast out, there will be sicknesses to address, there will be circumstances to turn around, and for you to be able to do that. He is not enough to God tell people I knew him, don't carry pictures around. I was the one who came within when it turns what that why we. Are in a generation where people snap with generals and the thing that is all there is about empowerment. Listen, I celebrate mighty men in the kingdom. I snapped with them. But I have come to understand by experience and by scripture that pictures cannot change anything about your life. They said, tarry until you I endure with power. So the essence of fire is for empowerment, for kingdom service. And that is why in Luke one age acts after one. That's it. He said, not many days from now, you shall receive the holy goes and power, and you shall be witnesses onto me. When the Holy gooes came. In Acts two, verse one and two, he said, when the day of Pentacost was fully came, they were together in one accord, and suddenly they had the sound as of a rosshi mighty win. And the place where they were was. Fuelled, be disfeated, and there appeared on them clothing tongues as of fire, clothing tongues as of fire. So the fire is the empower of the speeded for kingdom service. The moment that happened number one, these fearful people became boked. They stepped out immediately, and Peter began to speak. The Bible said when he spoke, three thousand was added to the church. This is what they could not achieve for ten days after the ascension of Jesus, but in one day they did it because empowerment has called so fire is not about jumping, It's about empowerment. You are a Christian for ten years, what are your results in the kingdom? That is why you need fire. If you don't have fire, you're a continuous shouting in excitement, but you have nothing to show for your Christianity. The moment fire come, results, we follow. Impact we follow because one of the reasons for fire is for empowerment. You will notice that when you lay hands on the sick, it will no longer be your hand, It will be an extension of the hand of God. This is why your hands now can heal the sick, because something has come upon you. I tell people it's not even about shouting. You wake up if you're on fire. If you speak, demons can recognize it. If you speak, sickness can recognize it. And it's not even in the service. Even in the market, things can happen. On the flight. Things can happen because when the empowerment comes, it shows, it shows you can't deny it. The first reason for power, for spirit to a fire is for empowerment. Number two spirit to a fire and gender's holiness. If you are struggling to live holy, I tell you one of the reasons you don't have fire. There are not too many reasons why people live in scene. People live in see either because they don't love God enough, or because they are selfish, or because they are not on fire. So if you find yourself struggling to leave Holy, if everything is a temptation to you, know that your fire has gone down. The moment fire comes, it imparts. You with the ability to leave Holy. When I read my Bible, sometimes I move to tears. I see the patriarchs of faith. They were tempted, they fled, some stood their ground. In our own case, we are not being tempted. We are the ones pursuing in temptation. Joseph was in forty first house. The woman threw herself at him. How was he able to stand? But we are in a generation where the ladies although they are not doing well, the guys are not doing well, but we are screaming. You see people, you carry yourself. You go and approach them, You collect their number, You talk to them. When you fall your not. Come, were crying, You say the temptation is too much? Did they throw themselves at you? You were the one who sought after them, pursued them, created or the strategy. The reason is because there's no fire. So when we are talking fire, it's not about gymnastics in the prayer orter. It's not about gymnastics in the prayer meeting. It's about the capacity to walk holy in a sinful generation. When fire comes it in gender's holiness. Malachi three, there's three inside. This shall sit as a refiners fire, and it's totally put the sons of liver and purify them as gold and silver is purified by fire, so that they can bring acceptable worship onto the Lord. So when you find people who are on fire, the second benefit is that they naturally live holy. Every time you start troubling, check your fire, something has happled, it has gone down. This is why we are talking fire here, because God wants to use the generation. But the God we are. Talking about the Bible said down all Lord, out of a pure eyes. They say, your eyes cannot behold iniquity. He cannot use a generation that is living in iniquity. This is why you have had visions talking to multitudes. Non has happled. You have seen yourself raising the dead. It has not happened because you cannot combine Sein and the spirit of God functioning at the same time. And so you need a fire to purify you so that you can do away with iniquity. Number three benefit or spirit. A fire is that produces on anything enthusiasm for God. When you find those on fire for God, they are excited about the things of this spirit. If you say let's go for a retreat, you have given them the biggest gift. Of that week. If you tell them there is a prayermity, they are overjoyed. And even when there is no corporating happening individually, they are self motivated. So you can wake up and read the bibley, not because you are going to preach. Something is telling you that is fire. You can wake up and decide to pray on your own, not because you are going out to tell anybody. I prayed for five hours. But there is an enthusiasm about the things of God. When you are free, you are looking for opportunity to go preach the gospel. You don't preach the gospel because they are mobilizing you too. The thing is pushing you. Is carrying you. There is enthusiasm anything that concerns God. The sum is said, I was glad when they said to me, let us go to the house of God. That's a man that is on fire for God. There is a joy that erupts you if it's about God. What is a generation where people can't serve God and they are looking for justification not to So when you talk about giving, you are not jobs who are hacking down why we should not give. When you talk about prayer, they are those hacking down why we should not pray. When you talk about fasting everything you raise, now there's a caution. Then you know that the generation is on the attack. The things the fathers did willingly, even without being taught. The Holy Goes taught them. Now they are teaching us. We can't accept it. I was asking myself who taught it well that they need that to give off me? Today? We have seen it in scripture. We are arguing whether we should or not, what or that we're not taught. They knew because there was a fountain pushing them towards God. They are teaching us. Now we can't accept it. And there you are wanting, what is happening to the generation there's no fire. If there is fire, there will be joy and enthusiasm. These things of the spirit. Romance twelves eleven said they faventing spirit serving the lords, not slough in business, faventing spirit serving the law. So when you find the man who is on fire, here's a title. This is a generation where you tell somebody pick that paper from the ground. He says, two thousand tie that knot on that draw. He come with three spanners. He said, how much. I'm not saying that are no workers, in short, that we should pay, but I am saying, if everything you do for God, you should be paid for. You are highering. And unfortunately that's what we have today. Even those who are minutes that's from the attar invite the preacher to preach. He said, where is the place at their good hotels? There? How much is there on a radio? The same gospel that people tracked to preach people who rode on camels to preach the same gospel that people went to preach, and they were slaughter. What is it on their voices that put anointing on them? The songs that have out lived time, some of the songs we sing today have been sang on hundred years ago. Save them to death. That's the annoying. And I'm not against having backup singers because sometimes people can mess up your atmosphere. But when you see what we do today is truly unreasonable. Why that's not enthusiasm for God. A man can't turn down a meeting because you didn't book a business class. It may tell you straight to the face, I can't come. And I'm not against honor. If they can put you on the business class, enjoy it. But if they can't put you on the business class, the gospel is more important than how you came. I'm telling you. Most of the meetings you go for that they tell you guests minister didn't come. He did come because he refused the city. How about their souls that were supposed to be won. Imagine if you go to heaven and Jesus tells you that meeting I assigned two hundred souls for you to win. You didn't come and none of them met. I'm not the evangelistya in hell. Now what will you tell Jesus they couldn't book business class for you, So two hundred people went to hell and you think you have your place in the kingdom. We are joking. We are joking. This is why we talk fire. See when fire is on your life, any where you have opportunity, you are there before the negotiation. We enter there. You are something about Jesus is drawing you? Is it Jesus? I want to represent. It's an honor to stand for him. It's a privilege to stand for him, and I will do it. Comrade, come shan a fire man. I'm not saying people should not be honored. I'm not saying the place of security should not be there. I'm not saying the press of sustaining our administration order should not be there. But I'm saying if that becomes more important than God, it means our motivation is little. This is why this generation needs fire. What did our fathers know that they tried to pre the gospel? What did they know that they rode on donkeys to prey the gospel? What did they know that they were harassed? Yet they continued that today savants of God have become superstars of gold. There's no fire. I'm telling you, That's why I tell people fires beyond sweating. When you were praying. We're talking serious business. Where's the quarter of holiness? Where's the quarta of enthusiasm for God? Where's the quarter of sacrifice and samis? These things are no more because the generation is not on fire. Forget that. You see somebody singing lyne down, rolling is drama. Most of them is drama. Ask them the conversation they had with the man of God who invited them. You will be shocked. Somebody is not on the altar. He's preaching. He needs down. He shouted, forget it. His drama, singing and rolling on the floor is drama. He has concluded what the you pay him before coming? That thing he's doing, he's responding to, JUSTI fight thirty million. He had already charged thirteen million, and he saw that if he doesn't add this drama, if money, he will justify the money he charged. I'm telling you the depth of corruption that is in the body of Christ today. Not slopped for in business, faventing spirit serving the Lord, not slopped for in business, faventing spirit serving the Lord. If you lose that motivation, you are in trouble. Because a day we come God, we reduce your rank in the kingdom that's why most of them vanished after four years, after six years. I'm telling you check most of the people that were on the scene six seven years ago. Look for how many of them are today. You know what God did. He removed the volume from their voice. Since it's money you are looking for, let me see who will invite you. It's not when they invite you, you a child. That's why most of them vanish. And they don't just vanish, even their songs vanish. Some of the songs you sang five years ago, seven years ago, you remember them. Volume has been removed because they are not servants. I'm telling you this is another generation that God wants to annoy it. You must be careful to know the things that matter. No enthusiasm for God. Number four, The benefit of fire is that it brings leadership. It gives you leadership over a generation. The moment the fire of God comes upon you, you are set apart. People who carry fire not in the multitude. It's not possible. The fire sets you apart. John five thirty five. He was a burning and a shiny light. And what did he say? They say you were willing to celebrate his light for the season. The moment fire comes upon you, leadership is conferred on you. Is the benefit of fire. That's why God sets this man on fire. You think people hear you because you speak well. The English is not to don your language. It's a borrow tongue. So we are not talking already. When men hear you, they hear you because there's a voice in the spirit saying, this is my beloved song in whom I'm well pleased. Here hear him. And what set men are parted for a generation to hear them is the fire. No body introduced bitter. The moment the fire came into your param he came out of spake, three thousand were saved. You just know that this one's ahead of your generation. So if you want to be ahead, I'm not behind. You need fire, and when it comes he shows Leadership in the Kingdom has nothing to do with gender. He has nothing to do with kin color, He has nothing to do with age. He has everything to do with character and fire. If you don't have character, you can't lead, and if you don't have fire, you can't lead. They too must work hand in hand. And so when God wants to set you apart for your generation, he introduced you to fire. Mosses ran away from Egypt, a fred of Pharaoh exa strip from best one. Benefit of spiritu a fire. It impacts bordness and audacity. When you come under fire, you are not careful about one man think. You're only careful about what God says. When you find a people with sufficient boldness to confront the challenges of their generation, something is burning in them. You don't talk because you are motivated. You talk because we're fired. He put the bordness in you that you can confront. Paul said, if after the manner of men he say, I fought the beast of ephisols. You see mountains edge long mountains, and you're confronted with a fear. If I perish, I perish. That's not a conversation for a medio car. Only those who carry fire are able to do so. And can I tell you something, If you challenge the mountain, you stand on no platform. Everybody you see elevator there to the mountain. That's why God, God cannot rest until you are set on fire. What is it about your generation that you are confronting? Where are the mountain movers? Where are those who confront lions and don't go back? We are those who confront go liars and don't go back. We are in a generation we are Bodness in the spirit is being depleted because most of what we are doing is artificial build of momentum. Spiritual audacity is different from psychological conditioning. I'm not talking this thing that people gather. Gather you tell them stand like this, time like this before you come out. That's not fire. I know. Say that is a lot. You see some people, they don't smile, they don't love. Where you see that are you doing? They are trying to condition you. That's psychology, say. Demons don't respond to data. That's why after they make you feel their menos pat If they confront demons, you see that they're weak. If they confront chan, then you to see that a week because the spirit, Paul said, accordiners, it is written, they said, they believe, and as spoke, we have been the same spirit of faith. We believe and therefore we speel. So what moves from you is not in your brains, in your spirit wall challenges come. If you're on fire, God lice is torn your inside. So the one talking it's not to you is the spirit on your inside. When you leave that atmosphere, you'll be shocked that you'll be at the lamp. But fire is the protocol for transitting the lamb to a lion, and that protocol can be as swift as possible. This is why you need it, so that the bordness and audacity required to fight for. So people who don't have fire, when they confront the Pharisees, they bring diplomacy. But a man of fire should up. He said, George, for yourselves, whether we should fear you of your gold. In case you made the mistake of thinking we will fear you, we will not. Where were declare what we have seen and heard? That level of audacity only fire produces it. You think when the three Hebrew boys child met the king, you think that's a press for Bible study. How dare you stand before the image that are built. They say, oh, King, we are not careful to answer you in this matter. If it is this one, we will not bow. If you like, make the fire seven times hotter. And the king told them I will. It's not a bluff. And when they carried them towards the fire, there was no record that they begged. They threw them into the fire. They went in prison. God, I'm telling you say, there is a level for that city that comes on you, that even if the mouth of the lion is open, you are declaring the counsel of God. Even if you have to lose your job, you'll stand your ground. Why do you think we have compromised. There are few who have fire, and so when they see the vengeance of Pharaoh, they compromise. But I tell you from Canu here tonight, a generation we rise that were born with the funness of fire. Number six benefit of fire constant power generation. When you carry fire, you generate, You become a warehouse of power. Because all the activities are predominantly spiritual activities. All the activities. Men of fire are generators of power. That's why they wake up. They carry power, they sleep with power, and even they die, they will go with the residue of it. When Eli and Lasha died, a dead man rose. I can in the demonstration of this eat it and power. So that is the wakness of doctrine. There's a witness of character. And there is the. Weakness of power. You want to make impact, you must keep the fire upon him. No fire, no impact. Number eight divine guideance. Those who are on fire, they are connected to God to four several. Some of us have learned that so long as God speaks well of me, everybody can say what they want. There are seasons of my life where everywhere your term that's attacked from everywhere and those who think they love me, we come and say they are saying this. They are saying that, and I look at them and love they are saying it because they are not important. Those who important, I know where I'm going. That's their focus. And can I tell you. Those who are talking against you are not half as many as those who God have sent you to. So don't worry about the ten fifteen people who don't have work who are painting you black in the public. So when you meet a man who carries fire, there is an activation of the protocol of transformation. You can come to a place and dance. God presence will not be there. If it is God's presence, it will judge everything that is not of God, and it will cause everything to align to God. So those who carry fire. That's why they are called revivalists because everywhere they come, they activate God's government. You will find people repenting, people. Tolling to the Lord. That's the fire of God. And that's why you yourself can carry fire and not be aligned to God. So the first thing about spirit to a fire is the carriage of the presence of God. Number two, spiritual fire is the empowerment of the Holy Ghost. When you find a man who is on fire, you can see the articles of divine empowerment. Acts one, verse eight thirty.
