Tonight, I just want to share with us quickly on a topic I've titled the Faith of the Fathers. The Faith of the Fathers, there are few things that, according to scriptures, if the Church does not take responsibility for at the return of Jesus, may become obsolete realities. I don't have time to deal with that because I'll do a teaching on it, but just to a highlight, one of it is genuine love for God. In Matthew twenty Four's twelve to fourteen. If you read that scripture, the Bible reveay to us what will happen at the last days? He said Matthew twenty four Vesse twelve to fourteen. He said, because lawlessness is increased, love of people will grow cold. He said, because aniquity shall abound, he said, the love of many shall wax code. So in the last day, it's one of the things that will be attacked will be genuine love for God. And the reason is simple. Because iniquity shall abound, men will be lovers of themselves, men will become lovers of pleasure, men will love this world, and the love for God will die in them. And so one of the things we must fight to reawaken is genuine love for God. Number two is faith. Jesus said, when the Son of Man returns, is that Shahi find faith upon the earth. That means one of the attacks of the last days will be on your faith. So a point where come we are people, we think it is foolishness to trust in God. It is foolishness to depend on the Holy Spirit and to depend on. The word of God. And so it's important for us to fight to build faith in our hearts and in the hearts of those who. Follow us, and to teach them the way of faith so that they. Walk in it. Tonight because of our time, and we'll just highlight briefly some of the key emphasis of the subject matter. The faith of the fathers. The Bible said in Hebrews chapter eleven, from besse one to three is the true faith we understand, is. It non faith? Is the subtass of things hope for the evidence of things not seen was two for buy it. They the elders, obtained the good report through faith. We understand that the words were framed by the word of God, and the things which are were not made out of the things which do appear by it. The elders obtained a good report. The elders or the fathers, where people of faith, and the back what monishes us. In Hebrews six twelve he says, to follow them who, through faith and patience obtained the promise. So the fathers were people of faith, and we were commanded. To follow them. In fact, when Paul was trying to present the argument for the life of the believer, he went back to the faith of Abraham Romance Dat. Four. You read from verse one to six, and then eleven and twelve, and you will find how poor connected us to the fathers through the lineage of faith, and how we become offsprings of the fathers by faith. He said, what shall we say then, that Abraham, our father, as pertaining to the flesh, had found He said, for if Abraham were justified by works, he had whereof to glory, but not before God. He said, for what saith the scripture, Abraham believed God, and it was counted onto him for righteousness. Now to him that worked, it is the reward not reconned of grace, but of death. So he's trying to bring an argument for grace, the reality for which we're walk in, and he began to show us how that this thing beg gan with the fathers. Abraham was justified. Not by his works, because if he was justified by works, then there's no place for grace. And he can glory. But he said, with God that's not possible because by works, no fleshes, no man can, No man can meet God's standard if works were to be considered, and so no man can be justified before God. So if there be any justification before God, that taught there was a technology that made it possible. And that technology was what Abraham found. It's called the technology of faith. He said, with God, you can't glory because nobody can keep the works of God. It's only in believing God that is possible for having for you to have glory, except but to him that work hadnot but believe it on him that justified on godly his faith is counted for righteousness. So you see that grace, righteousness all came out from this technology of faith that the fathers found. And he said Abraham was the one who routed it first. Is that even as David also described the blessedness of the man onto whom God has imputed. Righteousness without works. So he's showing us something about the fathers. Before the law ever came. There was something they caught with God that made them to be declared righteous, that made them find grace with God, that made them stood or stand before God without fear of condemnation. There was something they found, and poor God is faith. If you now go to Vesse eleven and twelve, he now shows you that this thing did not end with them. It was because of their works that there was a possibility for us to be routed into Greece in the first place. And he received the sign of circumcision as a seal of righteousness. Go to the stand first, let's read it from there. How was it then reconned when he was in circumcision or in uncircumcision? No, is it not in circumcision, but in uncircumcition. So before he was circumcised, grace was already reconded. Righteousness was already reconed because he believed God, not because he walked. So Boy is. Arguing that God justified Abraham, declared him righteous, availed him grace even. Before the circumcision. So there, circumcision or the works of the law was not what gave him right standing with God. It was his faith in God. And so Paul wants to use that to connect us because we are now the children of faith. Because the Father's walked in faith, and he received the sign of the concision, a seal of the righteousness of faith, which he had yet been uncircumcised. This circumcision was a seal of the righteousness he received before he was recconcised. That means he walked not because he was justified, but he was justified. So he began to walk. Are you seeing that it was not his work that justified him, He was justified because of his faith. Now that he has been justified, his circumcision inclusive was his seal. Just the same way you and I. We don't get saved by praying. We don't fast to be saved. Our first thing, our prayer can't save us. But now that we have. Been saved, will be first when we pray. So it is not the first thing. It is not the prayer. It is not the good works. That saves us. But we cannot not. Do those things because as children of God is our. Way of life. So he's saying the works of Abraham were a seal, not his justification he said that he might be the father of them that number one believe, though they be not circumcised, that. Righteousness might be imputed. So he's telling you. The basinis for which God gave us righteousness for just believing was because the first man he dealt with also received righteousness for just believing. And the reason is simple. Justification is by faith, not by works. So Abraham was the one who found it, and because they found it, it became. An order for the children of God. So we today cannot leave a path from faith, because this is how the fathers who walked with God walked. That's why he said by it Hebrews one two, the elders obtained a good report. The reason God gave the law. Was because the people told God, whatever you ask us to do, we will do. And God say, oh, so you can keep my standard. Don't come close. He now told Moses, write these laws forever. So the laws were not designed to justify them. They couldn't keep it. The law was designed to show them their weakness. The law was designed to prepare them to receive a civil The law was designed to prepare them to accept the way of faith, because if they didn't try, maybe somewhere in the ahead, they would have been saying, God would have asked us to do whatever he wants, would have proven to him that we can, and. If they were able to, they would have had a. Basis to be proud before God, to glory before God. But the Bible said, flesh can't glorify itself before God. So God gave them the law. Since you say you can keep it, try it. And for one five hundred years nobody could keep it. So he routed them back to what the fathers found. And Abraham, the chiefest among them, was justified not by works, but by faith. And so today we must go back to understand the faith of the fathers so that we can also leave by that faith. Now very quickly. Why is the important number one? Because this is the way of the children of God. In Hybercoptacter two, verse four, the Bible said, they just shall live by faith. We are justified by faith. We will leave by faith because the fathers that were justified were justified by. Faith, and they lived by faith. So if we don't find that path, we will not be able to survive in the kingdom, because the kingdom is a faith kingdom. For instance, I know we haven't countered God from time to time, but you see very few have really encountered the person of God. And even those who have when counter God, they don't work by side. It is the faith element formed in their souls that determines their walk with God. So the Bible said, we walk not by sensory perception Second Coorenthians five seven, but. We walk by faith. So the reason is important to lend the faith of the fathers is because that's the way of the believer. We walk by faith, not by side. They just shall live by faith. Second Corinthians five seven, Halbercock two, verse four, Romance one seventeen. Hebrews ten thirty eight. They just shall live by faith. Number two. Why is important to lend the ways of the fathers or to function by the faith of the fathers Because the Bible commands it. Hebrew sixth twelve is a follow them. Who through faith and patience obtained the promise, being not slocked for in business. But follow them who through faith and patience obtained the promise. I apologize. I'm told that there are lots of people outside of a flow is full, or leave here very soon. We have out grown displace thank God, I'm teaching on faith. So we will leave here in one month. We have outgrown displace glory to God. So those of you outside, maybe next time they will put screens and speakers. Our challenge is that it will soon start raining, or we'll do something about it as God helps us. Number Two, Scriptures. Commands it being not slocked for in business, but being followers of them who, through faith and patience, obtained the promise. He proves that team verse seven, the Bible. Had monished us to copy the faith of the fathers, if they remember them that have rule over you, who are spoken unto you the word of God, whose faith followed considering the end of their conversation. So we must lend the faith of the fathers. We must follow the faith of the fathers. And when I say fathers, I'm talking about the prophets of old, the apostles of Jesus Christ. So I'm not just talking I'm not talking particularly about the elders or the Body of Christ today. I'm talking about the patriarchs of Scriptures. Because even the elders today are following their faith glory to Jesus. Number three, why is important to follow the faith of the fathers, because we have read about their end, and the Bible said they obtained the good report. That means following their faith is a guarantee. Faith is the substance of things hopeful, the evidence of things, not saying by it. The elders obtained the good report. So if you want to obtain a good report with Jesus at the end. Of your walk, then you must walk by fail because those who did obtained the good report. They guarantee that at the end of time God will look at you and say, well done, good and faithful. Savan is when you follow those who have already received well done. I read my Bible and Jesus was speaking, it's at the end of time, men shall come from the north, the south, the east, and the west, and they will salute Abraham. In the kingdom. So the man is already there. They have already received their place. So we must learn what they did so that we can have the results they have. And then finally, why must we emulate the faith of the fathers because they commanded So I'm not sure a results. That we're undeniable, even though men couldn't explain it. So if you don't want your life to be norma, you have to learn from those who, through their walk with God, produce results that number one God approved and number two men could not deny. He proves eleven thirty two to thirty six. Here the word the Bible spoke about them. That means, if you follow their faith, you can have their results. Because God is not a respectful person. And what shall I more say? For time shall fail me to tell of Gideon, and of Barakh, and of Something, and of Jefty, and of David, and of somewhere and their prophets. Now we're talking about Abraham, Noah, Moses and all the patriots. So he said, time is not enough to speak about all of them. But see what they did. Who true faith subdued kingdoms. So if you want to subdue kingdom, you must follow the effect. No wonder to there we have new doctrines. The territory is hard. The fathers didn't know that sad even those who wanted to move, God says tasty. And they stayed and subdued the land. And the Bible said in the same year they ripped a hundred food resort. So they fled. They had subdued kingdoms. It wrought righteousness we are the generation where people fall in the bucket. They drown his cycle. You're we are nothing is happening. You are the one post winter deser. So what will you do if you're in Babylon, You're in a Buddha You say it's not easy, Hi, I can't kip myself. What happen if you're in Babylon? What would have happened if you were in Sodom and Gomorrah. We are seeing what's perfid? You carry on food, You are looking for temptations, and you are saying it's difficult. There are territories where where are you wanted or not? They rob it at your face. When the angels came to save Lot, the men of Sodom head that some new young men were in town. They came to the house and said, bring them out, we must sleep with them. So almost sexuality was by fuse. It's not I was tempted. Lord, say are we not take my daughters and sleep with them? Say no way, where we take this man? Auntie? An angels shot them with blindness, and Lot running and shut the door. Through faith they rot righteousness, and they didn't stop there. They are pained. Promises anything God told them was possible. They contented until the experience did. These were not theologians because there was not geology to study. Everytty writing came out of the experiences. So if God says you will have a child, that we hold him, even if it takes twenty five years, they would't back down. They contented, contented aggressively, and possessed promises. Not our generation. We are save by his stripes. I'm here, we are dying, not the fathers. Then we put that scripture before God, and then we trouble him onto you know, the parable of the unjust George, he said, he doesn't fear God, don't fear man, but the woman. Will let him. Adventure of my adversaries. Look a thing that's one to it. That's the way of the fathers. Taltget. They obtained promises, he said. They stopped the mouths of lions. There was not in their generation that could swallow them. You can't threaten those guys. Boo oh, King, We are not careful to answer you in this matter. If you like, make the fire seven times hotter when we're not bow you couldn't need to. Be dead then. Not to that where they pass in law and nobody can preach anymore because lions are swallowing us. If you don't bow will cast into the lions. Then go ahead. Let's no need to wait because this man will change his mind. Are you seeing what we need to learn and follow the faith of the fathers. What we are doing now is mental accent. What we are doing now is eloquence. These guys had wonders so pernature our experiences that for generations we're witnesses of God. Next verse, they quenched the violence of fire, They escaped the edge of the sword. They fled at wisdom. They were invincible out of weakness when made strong. They watched valiants in flight and put to flight the armies of the iLiads. You don't enter their territory and take over. No, then we fight you outside. They are strange doctrines everywhere today we are the warriors. Now you're here righteousness. It has nothing to do with what you do is your nature. So what kind of nature do you have that does not have the corresponding lifestyle? They said, a man can be married to one wife, otherwise he will end up with postate cancer. Firstrate, what the first man had one wife? He lived for nine hundred years. Where did you get your doctrine from? Auntie Noah? Six seven eight generations? One to one wives live for more than nine hundred years. When did you know about man? When did you start studying man? What do you know about man? How about the patriots like Paul who did marry? How come they didn't have postprates doctrines. Of devils pata by seducing spirits. But we don't have warriors who can stand. At the gate and put to fly the armies of the area. There is an urgent need to study and to follow the fate of the fathers. If I read down, you will see things. It's a women received their dead back to life, or us we're tortured, not accepting the difference that they might obtain it better resolution. This is a generation where it gives somebody a job and start from the day he's resuming. If you don't take bride, you are out. And then okay, don't worry. Have we try compromise everywhere, but we asked. We are eloquent about doctrine, eloquent about talk, no proof. We must go back to study the faith of the feathers. For those of you who are being imparted today. This should be your life because you have been indocted into a new. Operation of the spirit. There is a dispensation of the Gospel that has been entrusted to us, and we must rise up to the occasion. And so quickly are we deal with the characteristics of the faith of the Fathers. When next I half time, I will look at the heritage of the faith of the Fathers, because there are two major components of that faith, the characteristics. And the heritage. Because the operation of that faith comes with blessings. But I don't have time tonight to deal with it. So let's look at the characteristics of the faith of the Fathers. Number one, The faith of the Fathers was born from intimacy. One of our biggest problems in the school of faith today is that we begin learning faith from principles, and so people are learning methods, strategies, does And the fathers who walked with God, they didn't have documents to read. In fact, it was their walks with God that was crystallized as documents. So when you spoke or studied about this man, what you will find are encounters. What you will find are the speakings of God. To them. That's why the Bible said faith comment by hearing, hearing by the word of God. Romance Tessavon. So a man without intimacy can have faith. You don't just become a faith giant. By reading the textbook. You don't grow in faith just by hearing the message. Once something can be deposited. Because at Salvation Romans twept through. The Bible said the measure of faith was tell to us. But to walk in that faith, maximize that faith. It will take intimacy. The fathers who were giants of haid, they were men. Of great intimacy with God. Genesis seventeen, Verse one. God spoke to Abraham. He said, walk before me and beat out perfect. Remember Hebrews one two said through faith they obtained a good report. So when God spoke about being perfect being accepted, it was a function of the faith that comes from intimacy. Walk before me and beat down perfect. Since we are generations that have no relationship with God, yet we want to represent God. That's why when we talk, nothing happens. Check the fathers, they had a deep walk with God, very deep. Sometimes when I read the Old Testament, I'm wandering the kind of Christianity we are practicing. In Exodus starty three level. God was speaking about Moses. And see what the Bible said, reintillated in numbers twelve, six and eight exaid, And the Lord speake onto Moses face to face, as a man's speaket onto his friend faith to face. God himself reintillated it in numbers twelve, verse six to eight exaid, And the Lord said, here now my word, if there be any prophet among you, the Lord make myself known unto him in a vision, and well speak on to him in a dream. That means even the prophets had relationship enough to have encounters. You can't begin in that world without work with the spirit of God. My servant Moses is not so who is faithful in all my house with him? Will I speak mouth to mouth, even apparently, and not in dark speeches, and in the signitude of the law Shahi. Behold these guys that they walk with God. If you read your Bible too many times, God speke to Abraham. God appeared to Abraham there were men of intimacy. Imagine Moses. God will be talking to Moses and pinpointing people and said this one besily the son of Uri or all I have. I have anointed him and put upon him the spirit or whissel. So the guy will come, I said, bes Ali, I was talking to God yesterday, and he told me that you can be a designer because the grace is on you. I'm not just talking proclaim and claim. They all Tabernacuda was killed. God gave details of nails that should be used, wood angles, the whole architecture design. God was describing to a man, and that damn man shows up. I said, let the head swallow somebody up. You too ready? You now care and somebody provoke you. You said, let the head swallow you a gaza. They will draw you like a CARTOONU. You have no work. You are shallow. I'm not saying God has to show his face to you, but I'm saying you must have a walk with God. Say the loss God gave Moses. The Bible said fire came out of his finger and inscribed the loss on the tablets of stone. So the guy shaw the finger of God. Flames were coming, and right, that kind of a man stands before you canne nation defeating. And they had other six on. Their ceremonial laws. Oh, downloaded from the presence. When Moses broke the law, God said, now you go here in the rock write what I wrote. The guys stayed long enough to memory. We are joking, sir, you. Want to represent God. Where was the last time you had him? Is that? My sheep here at my voice and they obey John tenth forty seven. That's why we have drama all over the place because there's no intimates, there's no relationship. A man of faith has not had God in one week, neither has he spoken to God. I'm not talking about shouting shouting shouting, you're not a pharisey. That's not what I'm saying. In God's presence, if you're overwhelmed. You can't do anything. But I'm talking a quality walk with Jesus. That's where faith comes from. You don't hear him, you have no faith. My sheep hear my voice. Faith comment by hearing and hearing the voice of God. So the fathers were men of great intimacy. Their whole journey was born out of intimacy. So if we were modelle they kind of faith they have, we must returned back to relationship. See the way God spoke about Moses in numbers Tweb seven. He said he was faithful in all my house. That means God watched the guy. As he walked with him on the daily basis, and God was marking his script. He said, the son of Mary turn, will he find faith on the earth. It's not just about quotings. Are what is your relationship with God? When last have you had God? And if you didn't hear him, when last did you besieging to hear the faith of the Fathers. We have reduced everything to theology. And that's why they present the weight of glory. It's not there number two. Faith of the Fathers. It constitutes and on waving trust in God's abilities and God's promises because they hear God. When God speaks, if it will cost them their lives, they will sacrifice it. They had on waving trust, confidence in God's abilities and in God's promises. James one verse seven and eight. For let no man think that they shall receive anything from the Lord. Let not that man. Now, let's read verse six and see who the man is the man that shouldn't think. Go to verse five. I want to give context. If any man luck wisdom, let him ask of God that give that to all men liberally and unbreded not. And he shall be given him. But let him ask in faith nothing wavering for him. That weather at is like the wave of the sea, driven with the wind and tossed. He doesn't stagger. He had constance, stamina, stay in power on God's world. If he wavers. Verse seven said, let him not think that he shall receive anything from the Lord. And invest eight he said, a minded man is on stepway all these ways. So the fathers were people who never wavered. There was something about their testimony, and that's what Jesus himself into rects in Luke one thirty seven. With God, all things are possible. Is that, for nothing is impossible with God. That was the trust of the Father. Paul was speaking in Second Korenthians one twenty. He said, for all the promises of God are in him, yes, and in him a man through the glory of God, through us all the promises of God. When God spoke to these guys, it was finished. Then well, rather die believing now go to Hebrews eleven thirty nine to forty. Some of them died. There's died in faith. Instead of changing our mind when we're rather perish in faith. That will change our mind, he said. And this all, having obtained the good report through faith, received not the promise because it was talking about the Messiah, not just the acts of God. They didn't see it. They saw it a pharaoh. They didn't experience it. Nonetheless, they believed it to death. So if you go to the grave and tap any of the fathers, they will tell you the Messiah is coming. We believe it even though we didn't see it. It's not a lie. So they didn't see it to believe, they believed to see. We have the money phrases. In our own generation, seeing is believing. But for their fathers, believing is seeing. Look at verse forty. God having provided some better things for us that there without us should not be made perfect. So they are perfected because we have experienced it. So they are brought into the equation. But they faith. They died having not received the promise. They didn't change their mind. I'm not saying you'll be sick, but if you were sick today, will you. Change your mind about clean I'm not saying you'll be weak, But if you are weak today, will you change your mind about the enablement of God? Because if you can't prove it in experience, then you are just quoting what you don't know. Look at Job when he was afflicted. The wife came to him and said, got God and die. He said, why are you talking like one of these foolish women. Are we only going to receive good from God? Now? He not let was not very correct, because God does not give evil. But even though he didn't know enough, he stood his ground until his faith justified him. The Bible said in Job forty two Verst. Ten, God gave him talk for all he lost. So the father's had constance. In their walk with God. Look at Abraham for example, Romans four seventeen to twenty one. Let's just read it so that you see the faith of the fathers. We are too shallow. Why am I he having this headache? I thought? He said, by his times we are Here's this thing true? At all? Headache for thirteen minutes. A man promised a child at seventy five to this ground for twenty five years, child came at one hundred, never started. You have headache for two days. You say, I don't believe this is your talk. Again, we don't know and it is this, but up faith that we are teaching a generation. As it is retty I have made the Father of many. Nations before him be believed, even God who quickens the dead and collect those things that be, not as though they weare. There's a thing we're reading to twenty one who against hope believed in hope even when there was no hope. He can't believe in that he might become the Father of many nations according to that which was spoken, So. Should I see it be so? These guys didn't use results to justify their faith. They use what God said. If there I'm being not weak in faith? He considered not is somebody now dead when he was about one hundred years old. Neither yet the deadness of Sarah's womb. He's that God. Not at the promises of God to unbelief. He was strong in faith, giving glory to God his that God not the Fathers. Don't stagger. I know things may not be working as you're thought. This may not be working as your plan, But learn. From the fathers. None of them, and that the shame. They help shed rack they want them. They didn't change their mind. Better go and tell them to bow. I will play the trumpet again. Oh King, don't worry. Don't play again. We won't bow. I will make the fire seven times hot. Well, if you can't do much more, go ahead. They tie them. God didn't show up. It was in the fire he showed up. He never disappoints. Learn it from the fathers. The Bible said, the things that were reading a four time were reading for our learning Romance fifteen vers four. Don't use your time in dealing with God. Wait for his time here. Be sure. They looked up to him. Their faces were readiant, They were not as shamed. If they were not a shamed, you won't be ashamed. But the question is what are you standing on. The father stood on their understanding of God's abilities, understood on the promises of God. So faith is not just a mental accent. It is substantiated by the revelation that you have. So they had faith borne from revelation. There's two on goost world. There's true. Don't God's ability not their own ability? And at the end of the day they were justified. We are too quick in looking at things, not God. He said, why we look not at the things which are seeing? What are the things that are on sin? Excet for the things that are seeing are temporal. The doctors report this temporal. The triers are temporar. Look at the things usain and the things on sin are not in the spirit. Trend is the word true faith. We understand that the wars were framed by the word of God. That the things are We're not made from the things we do appear, so they aretain. Things are the spoken words of God. That's what defined the fathers. So when you find a father faith walking, are you asking why are you still doing this? You will say God to me, God told me was enough? Number three characteristic of the faith of the fathers. They had uncontextable obedience to God's commands, regardless of the cost. They proved their. Faith not just by their confidence and God's ability and promises, but by their obedience. That's why the Bible, speaking in. James chapter two, verse nineteen and twenty, he said, thou believers that there's only one God. Thou do as well. He said that devils of beliefs and trembles. He said, oh, vain man, don't you know the faith with that works is there. Verse seventeen and eighteen and verse twenty two to twenty six. You'll see him. Telling you how Abraham showed his faith through his walks, and their walks were their obedience. I give you one example Genesis twenty two, from verse one. This was God talking to Abraham. Since you say you believe, let us see you prove your faith, they say, And they came to pass after these things that God did tempt Abraham and said onto him Abraham, and he said, behold here I am you see that they had God. And he said, take now thy son, thy only son, isaik Kumdar loves, and get thee into the land of Moriah, and offer him there for a bond offering upon the mountains, which I will show thee. Wow, I waited twenty five years. This boy is just a young boy. Now you want to kill him? Are you sure you were the one who gave him? That was not Abraham's reply verse three. And Abraham rose up early in the morning and sat do his ass and took two of his young men with him, Isaac his son, and cleave wood for bound offering, and rose up and went into the place that God had told him. What brookeby is in vers five. When he was going to sacrifice, he caught it wasship see we can't command results. You see this man, God will give one man a nation. He's not biased. They are things they had in the aquiver. They demonstrated their confidence in God in a way that even God mafood. When God saw that Abraham truly wanted to kill his son, He's saying. Now I know I have seen that this thing you truly have it. You have proven it. Now I know that truly you fear me. He caught it. Worship, God caught it, reverence, all of it. Faith. This is a generation where somebody has Boy, he's trusting God and trusting God and trusting God, and nothing happens. Boy, somebody happened on the ankle. He's trusting God. Let me tell you two weeks and trusting God. How you are wanting? Is this God so powerless? Something is wrong with our faith. The correct of our faith is deficient. Our faith with us our faith don't have obedience this thing I'm showing you tonight, don't. Feel anything to go and practice it. When God tells you something, so long. As you're confound that is God, remove your reason and put it in the pocket and obey God, and see. What will happen. Any day you talk in the name of God. You will be shocked the result, Your Marthel. Do I have this power? Yes? You do. But the reason the powers I'm not answering to you. Is because you have not demonstrated the character to wield them. Take your time, be sure this is God. If you are sure it is God, stop thinking, start acting. You win. Mafel. See the things that men gather talk and doesn't happen. Why you are thinking it to be happening. And you'll be wondering, how come? Why is this so quick? There's something you. Are doing, sir, There's something you know that ten responds in the spiritual. You wonder why one man can conquer four kings. They sent a message to Abraham, your cousin, your nephew. Lord has been arrested by four kings. No preparation, There was no amy on ground. He got three hundred and eighteen slaves. Let's go to war, which war fuckings? Four kings for nations, and there was no record that there was casualty. Rather, he came with this poise of war. And you are wondering, I'm telling you listen. You can talk and the whole organization can shut down. I'm telling you. It's not so big for you. You can talk, a nation can shake. It's not such a big deal. But the question is what is the character of your feet. You can't talk natural will obey, You can't talk systems. We shift. This thing is not for the fathers only the same faith they have is what we have. The problem is that the character of our faith is different. Our own faith is lissed with disobedience. Our own faith has no intimacy, our own fate with us. That's why when we stand where they's tool, we can't have. The results they had. How can the man see a see and say go back? How can the man be fighting and command the moon to stop? How did they evenly imagine it? The faith of the fathers, it had obedience number four. It was persistent in triers. The fathers were persistent in faith. That means there were many forces. That negated their faith to shame them to doubt God. They never changed their minds. And well, that failed with God than to succeed outside God. How many of you have had our father's talk like that, to succeed outside God? And we want to to subceed outside God rather than failed with him anyway away by the face. That's why you will see one million of us God for one miracle service. That means among one million people, only one person has a light. So the miracle service itself is a sign of where our Christianity is. That we are backward? How are we? Somebody? We practice these things and see how your life will change. You know, when we teach about faith, we just tear people's faith off and we start declaring, and they start receiving. They started sis. That's why we are masters of receiving, yet we never manifest anything. I'm teaching you not just to know how to receive, but to know how to demonstrate, because those who demonstrate this is the angle they learnt from perseverance. James one, two to four. See the way the men spoke. He said, my brethren, count it all joy. When you fall into diverse temptations. How do you count temptation joy? He will tell you why next verse. Knowing this that the trying of your faith work at patients. You can't have faith without triers. Abraham wait there for twenty five years. Meanwhile, in these twenty five years he changed his name from Abraham to Abraham. People look at him and say, oh, godom Madu, what is happening? Child is not coming. You are changing name. You don't have one. You are calling yourself out of kings, which nation at the king in. The trier of your faith, work at patience, and I said, when patience have have perfect walk, it will make you perfect, so that you want nothing. That means when you have gone through triers, at the end of the day, the result shows up. So those who command real results by faith, they went through setting phonics. If you start walking in faith, that's when you see the contradictions of God. You will go out thought somebody, he will be healed. You are sick, you don't have results. Your loved ones are sick. You're first your professor. You pray, you don't have results, and the question will be Physician Helio said, you will bury your head down, but don't worry. God will show up. It doesn't faith. It's just the fire that purifies your faith, so that when you stanned, no arrow can move you down. Any shades of manipulation, you can shoot them off because your faith will become a shield. You know what po said above all taking up the shield of faith. Your faith cannot be a shield if you don't know. Try us. The reason your faith becomes a shield is because a point comes work. You have learned how to abound, You have learnt how to abase, so you can do all things because there is a strengthening. On your inside that is not man, good Christ Hm In Romance five Ver's three and four, see the way Paul puts it. Pos said, but we glory in tribulation. With glory, how do you celebrate tribulation? When do we celebrate in George? Today? I bought a car, I got the job, the visa came out. That's why we are a generation of receivers, the generation that produced answers. They don't only receive, he said, with glory in tribulation, knowing that tribulation work at patience, with glory and patience, experience and experience. Hope, are you see and hope? Make it not a shame? So this is a secuit. The trier does not bring shame. They try and makes you contact shame. A point comes to become tough, like mamion that cannot be moved. I know you don't have a child. It's fifty years in marriage. People are saying, don't kid yourself in CHARGEO relax. It's working something in you. It's from patience to hope, from hope to glory. You don't have the job. You are giving yourself to kingdom service. They said, look at that one. He has become a zombie. Relaxer. Joseph was like you in his own case. He was even in prison. He stood his ground. When an opportunity came from Satan, he didn't take it. Swep with me. I'll make you the head of the houseboy, I can't do this evil against God, my redeem and leave it. When Sire was over, we have God placed him. No body in Egypt was there. Only Pharaoh was there, and even Pharaoh. He was greater than Pharaoh, because he. Was big both among men and in the spirit. It's only the time that is what came. The word of the Lord tied him. Don't stop what you are doing. The answer may not have come if we come. The Bible said, word for it. Do it. Tarries is sha not harry? Is that not a contradiction? That means for now it looks as if nothing is happening. Time is going. When the answer comes, it will cover for all the time that was lost. That's why it's arry. Doesn't tarry. If you were moving at the speed of man. Maybe you're not. Being promoted on your job. But when God shows off you have ten jobs that you produce. That means it tarry's it doesn't harry. You are married for five years, not child. Oh I'm finished. When child comes threeplated, it has covered six years. And it's not just repleted. One becomes governor, another one becomes profits, another one becomes president, so they. Are more than ten children. God has his ways. That's why you must master the act of perseverance. We don't persevere. We are too shallow. They momented say happen based on our time with. Asking the medium questions, is this thing true? If it is not a lie? When we need com those murmuring the Bible, God considers them an evil heart. Don't murmur if you don't know what to do between your faith and manifestation. Give glory to God. The Bible said Abraham was strong in faith, giving glory to God. Look at what person when he read a moment ago Second Corinthians eleven twenty three to twenty eight. Look at what poul glory. These are champions of faith. We are preaching grace preaching. Pauline doctrine, and our life does not resemble paul he said Second Corinthians eleven twenty three to twenty eight. Let's read that at ten minutes. That's of Christ. I speak as a fool. I am more in labor, more abundantly in stripes, that's flogging above measure, in prison, more frequent, in deaths. Often of the Jews, five times I received forty stripes save one. That means they flogged in thirty nine stroke five times. That's what was glory. In tries, I was beating with rods. That means it was beatty eight times. Five times. Was with kin thirty nine strokes each, three times with road. Once I was toned tries. I suffered shipwreck A night and day. I was in the deep. He fell into the ocean. I was there for every night. This is what he gloried in tribulation. I'm not saying we should pray for sorrow, but I am saying, if in believing God we go through tires, he should bring joy to us. When the apostles were beat in the Bible said they returned to their company, and they celebrated it. I'm teaching this today because most of you will go out to represent Jesus. You will see it. A man of God came to me last week. He saw this house. Built a church and an apartment, a personage for the work of God. Guess what They came and leveled it. He said, If not because of Jesus, he would have died. In fact, he was searching for where death is. He couldn't fight. If he found that, he would. Have honked death. The reason he didn't die because he didn't know where death was. Such is the trial, but it will still be preaching. I don't know the one you are carrying, but if it is genuine faith, it will be tested. Sometimes if you look as if you have been put to shame, but the glory that comes will swallow it off. And I don't know who I'm talking to, but I'm encouraging you to stand your ground. That sickness will end this share, that your loved one won't bring your share, that value in business won't bring shame. Stand your ground. Their fathers went through us. Some were harassed, some were insulted, some were accused, some were thrown into fire, some were thrown into the nions den. One thing was constant. They all came out, and if they came out, you too will come out. The tryer didn't come to kill you. It came to test your faith. And at the end of the day you will stand number five as a round them. The fathers were willing to act their faith. They acted their faith. Genesis twelfth, from verse one to three. When God called Abraham, the man didn't say I'm called, he went. They acted their faith. That's why they had results. These are not people trying to verify Lord. This thing you are saying I should do. What would be the result. He won't begain with you. He's a king. He may just come and say leave here, go there. Whether you go or not, that's your fault. That's your case. And many times you will know the destination if you read what Genesis twelve ver's one to three captures. In Hebrews eleven, verse eight to twelve, the Bible said the land Abraham was going to. He didn't know it. He was looking for a city with foundation whose build and maker was God. You know why we don't have the fat of the fathers. When God gives us instructions, we are trying to wait to see how. It will happen. The fife already told you as thou know it, not how the bones are formed in the wound. But Father, that is with child, he says, So, so know it. No doubt the waste of the spirit. Don't try to know it. Just just obey. It's a himn that observe that the wind shall not so. Some of us are where we are today because we were waiting to receive a justification as. To why we should do what we're told to do. We are willing to obey, but want to know all the facts. And God told you ten years ago, give your card. You are been questioning God. Now the guy is too old to use. The guy is gone. While you are here. You are it is your future. God told you five years ago leave the city where you are to another city. You are saying, Lord, how why you are still in that city. The job you are doing is no longer relevant. You are eating your future. The fastest way to arrive destination is to follow divine leading. And believe me, those who follow divine leading often times don't know where they are being led. Abraham didn't know. You will not know. So don't ask for how, don't ask for where. Go. It's as your go that it shows you. The results happen on the way. Look at Luke seventeen, verse fourteen to nineteen. Jesus met ten lepers and told them, go show yourself to the priest. The lord you're cut in to do is Master. We'll respect you, but don't you know how this thing works. The Lord Moses doesn't permit us to associate with people or to go to the priest or the leprosy is gone, the leprosy is still here. What do we here? The priests, those of you who are too logical and argumentative, you will never see the results of it. It's as they were going that the leprosy disappeared. As they were going, he thought, Bitter launched to the deep. He's not arguing, but he had held Master. We are fishermen. We know this trade as far as we see you a. Good preacher, But this is fishing. It's different from talking. We know this. We lant it from our father's and we're toy it all night because that's the best time to cutch fish. So if we didn't catch fish at night, the probability of catching in the day now that there's a cloud is zero. But at some point why I was talking. He knew logic was an error. He said, but at the world, somebody will leave this service today, And said, but at the world, that charge will come up at thy war, that business, the breakthrough will happen at thy war. See many times, what God instructs you to do is nothing compared to what He. Wants to do. You just need to prove your trust. You have you have. You have twenty thousand in your account. If they take it to the orphanage. If I say off the age, I am more than the. Whole offense in the world now as far as I am now, I am an offense square which offer I needed more than the offense? Is it not the offense the politicians are taking rights to every day? I am the major offer. Now you will finish that twenty thousand and you will experience. What it means to be an over as I'm talking now, some of you know we are God. They instructed you yesterday, last year, two years ago. That's why you are here, sah. And if you like, we will put the drama of all heir on your head. Where we prophessye on you from Natya. Nothing will happen because those prophecies We only materialize after you have yielded to the Holy Spirit. Learn this and become a champion. What I'm teaching you here is not so that you receive from God, is so that beyond receiving, you become an answer to your generation. They acted. I've said it time and time again. The book of acts is called the Acts of the Aposts. They acted. Jesus told them go into all the worlds, and the Bible said in Mark sixteen twenty. And they went. The moment they went, the Lord walking with them. Confirming the words with signs and wonders. So it's not enough to hear, and they went James one twenty two to twenty five. Do not hear us of the world only deceiving yourself. Be do us. It's not him that hear it, and do it not. It's like a man that beholded his image in the mirror and straight away forgets himself. It said for him that do it, He said that man shall be blessed, that man that do it shall be blessed. Many times, it does not make sense. That is where God takes the glory, because if it makes sense, you have explenty to yourself. Please act, act don't be dominant. Fat results are for fat actors. If you don't go out, if you don't step out, if you don't act, when. Not see the result, some of us have reduced God to one operation. They did this man of God will lay hands on me. It may not happen in ten centuries. And it may even happen, and you. Will be disappointed because it's not about the man. It's about the God of the man. You know, some people see men of God and not the anointing on the altar, and they are said, my prayer is one stop that prayers. You will disappoint. Yourself the day I meet this man of God is finished or God. He is God, Man of God, not God of man. Be giveul. I've met many men of God, and when I came, I say, it's this n in none. Don't on me that we have this glory, this treasure in a tin vessel. You will think when you meet the man, I says, coming at best is your emotion that you will be If God is not doing anything, you will be disappointed and asking yourself, why did I waste my transport? I wait there for two weeks. Can you imagine, because you will meet the man. When God leads you to a man, go he will wait for you there. But if God is not leading you don't become a worship of men. Learn these truths change your life. The faith of the Fathers is an acting fee number six. That faith. I don't have time. I would have talked to you about violence, because when we. Talk about the actions of faith, that's where violence comes in. I would have given you some examples, but I will shift the service from where it's going. I'm talking to people that will go and represent God. So I want them to lend these things and apply it. You know, if you don't act, it means your faith it's not violent. It's until the time of John March eleven and twelve. It said the Kingdom of God, so farid violence, only the violent. So I'm talking that. Oh see, if you see some actions of faith, you'll be shocked. Men who shifted in their generation, they were crazy actors. They were crazy actors. Some day demonstrated action through prayer. A man with prayer and said, I take I don't take no for answer, and you're ask him is see God you're talking. To That's what God is looking for. I must get it. God I must get it. And God is seen not arrogance. But passion. God is seeing faith. No, no, have you explained Batmos. Jesus was entering the temple the city. The guy was shouting, shout down, shout down, shout that Jesus the answer and entered the city of Jericho. He was there for some days. He was blind. Nobody was gonna bondy him. So he was shouting for all the days. That Jesus was in Jellico. And then when Jesus was passing, he was shouting. Jesus stopped, honker, don't kill me. What do you want? Hands and bottom down they cross, not yet? What are you looking for? It came to him. I want to see you know you are not violet. You don't have the right to say what you want. You are this sleeping? I say, I want take her. You are sleeping. I want to marry you are sleeping. I want breakthrough. Who told you? Do you know how many people are contending? Do you have an idea? Only the violence text it. I've taught you before that in this kingdom they don't give things, they take it. They want this Catleambano, that's who. I waited to receive that we cue for a long time. Home go. I read your Bible. Only takers prevailed, and it takes violence, violence of faith. The thing is not working. One of my mentors told me those days when he was learning the way of it. He says, when he needs anything, he will shut the door. Travel shut the door. And we are seeing letter boxers because he knows this prayer. He is wet. He knows this prayer. There are some motion that clothes made tear. So he doesn't know how the prayer will end. He only has an idea how he will start. So but in my eyes was learning walk when some people show up. Did you read about the cannon kite woman. The woman was shouting at Jesus, help me have mercy, and Jesus didn't answer. A point came, Jesus is disciples got offended at Jesus, Master, if you will know answer this woman, halper, allow her to go now much your own disciples. That's why people that respect that Jesus. But a point came. They were like, oh, Gala, you now said something. If you don't want to help her, let her go. And Jesus said, I didn't come for her. Type Now the first face of my errand is for the Jews. It's when the Holy. Ghost comes that the Gentiles will be part of it. Because now I'm working based on the Covenant of Abraham and it doesn't include the Gentiles. So I'm not being calos this, this oppression does not include her. When the Holy Goost comes, you have a part. The woman now. Heard Jesus wasn't talking to her. You don't know I why her less she had? She now said, Master, even the chromes that fall from the table, there's no way you can be stabbing this Abraham's dish, and you were cleaned. I'm not away fall from the table, even the crumbs that fall. If I don't qualify to be a hoover, at least are we act. Like at all? Give me this illy were Jesus looked at her. He's a woman great is typhied. Even do I I'm not to give you. You are taking it, Augus. It begin to thirteens through violence, you demons, save violence through prayer. Say anything you find in scripture. Don't sleep heat Onna on three material life check check Elijah. The Bible said Elijah was praying. He told the savant, go and check that means that prayer is not an hours, ten hours is for beginners, That prayer is not twenty. Hours, that prayer is not three. Days, That prayer is on The answer comes no matter how long it takes. If it takes one hour, fine, If it takes seven hours, fine, if it takes fifteen hours. What I'm checking is not my clock, is the spirits. Go and check. The guy chat check, he chat check. If you were Elijah, you said, well, what exactly are you looking for? Don't worry be checking, And the guy was dear groaning. Yeah, you are the ud. You know that that prayers the vocabular is not a novel. You can pray for cobulary where you are confident they can pravel copulary where you have about alternatives. But when you don't have any alternatives, again your pray until the Holy gools will start praying. Except for we don't know what we want to pray for, as we should. It's that what they spirit helper and our informities were grown. I'm talking the violence of it, prayer, prayer, prayer. Elijah is man subject. To life passion, just as we are. You know, we we have people to complain through that's why we are not violent. You can call one man of God. You can fly to see what apostle, and the. Apostle, because it's available, he will lay hands on you. By the time you meet ten apostles and nothing apples, you will go back to the God of heaven the fathers. We're violent. Look at the way. Get your prayed, and not doubt, Oh Jesus Christ Ah your host the fat Now when they were praying, and not doubt they God Roulette in the kingdoms of the heavens. They were asking questions, talking violence here, getting on sat down for many days. We ares the God of our fathers. We don't doubt you for sure. The Bible said, Oh God that adventured his enemies, show thyself. So you demonstrate violence in prayer. There you demonstrate violence through acts of it. He said when his wife was shot with an arrow after the contest criptures, after they prayed, these were not happening. He said, they became violent. That year. He built many churches for many many or many churches that were not living with it. They gave like matt before the woman brought out her boxes of joe worries and give. See when you do some things. You'll be like Solomon when you give it one thousand points offering God, do we say who is this? And it may not be money. Some people we decide to do one hundred nights of worship. You know what that means? Every night, one hundred days. And they are just playing instruments and worshiping that sacrifice, worshipping and playing dancing, and you are wondering, what. Are you looking for? A point will come. The insights will be too much. Heaven will show what's going on here. We know people can do seven days of worship, people can do twenty one day. Who is this person? You have not seen some things? Go and read about the Moravians. They did one hundred years of fasting and prayer. If you go to that cave, even if. I Knama, you have an encounter. Your violence will take you beyond the realm of Mamma. That's what the fathers did. David, we say I will not give God that which cost me nothing. That means second time David gave It was crazy. See when they were bringing the Act of the Connant, the Bible said. Every five steps that they took, Jeff Devid offer the cow. How God this act was giving people. But he looked at this. Who is this? Every five step, David slot a cow every five step. It's not a cow. He who say worth, who is this man? You don't know? Violence are It can be on the althar, it can be through sacrifice. But if your faith begins to speak the language of violence, heaven, we show up. That's what the fathers do. Sit down, we don't have time today. It's just a charge. Finally, the faith of the fathers is the faith that has legacies. You know, violence is important, but make sure. You have the other components. Then legacies. They handed over the legacy of faith to their children. Legacies, build the legacy of faiths up. Don't just give your children cars, give them tokens of faith. Give them tokens of faith. Build legacies of faith. Second Multi one, verse five to seven. I was thinking about Tibote why he became the man? It was not by chance. When I got to remember us the unfaint faith that is indeed, which dwelt first in thy grandmother lawis and in the mother units, I am persuaded that it's indeed. Also they transferred it, the way of it, the character of it, the life of it to their children, and they became wonders in their generations. As you rise up tonight as gods ambassadors, I want you to know three things. Number One, not things have been possible to you. Please believe it. I'm not the one who said it. The Bible said nothing is impossible for God. He now said, with God, all things are possible. He now said all things are possible to. Them that belief. So faith takes it from God's realm to your realm. I want you to be mindful. Don't let any demon whisper to you that this terrytor is hard, this thing. Is not possible. Nothing should have been possible with you. But you must walk by faith, not by sight. Number two, I want you to know that the only way you can please God is by faith. Without faith, it's impossible to please God. Whoever come to him must believe that He is and is the reward of them that diligently seek him. When you pray, praying faith, when you give giving faith, when you're first, first in faith, when you worship. Worship in faith. This is what the fathers did, and that's why today we remember them. Their names were etched in the sons of eternity. And then number three, I want you to bear in mind that it's not about some few special people that you too, You are one of those God wants to use. Thank God, you have seen some remarkable people God is using today. Yesterday they were like you. I told you my story. I went for meetings, all kinds of prophetic meetings, hoping that somebody will give me. A word of knowledge. We wait tippo for were if the prophet is passing. We now noticed that he was interested in those who looks viltua as they are coming close, who closed our eyes and start praying tongs. So that this person needs a world. They will pass. One meeting is over, we're we're rush and hold them. There was nothing. If you told me some years ago that God would use me, it will be like a story. But it proved to me that he's not a respectable persons. I don't know where you are coming from, but the same thing he did with the Father, as he can do with you. Only make sure that you have apprehended the Bible faith that comes only from the world of God. And when you apprehend that faith, make sure you doctor that faith so that. It sustains the character of the faith of the fathers. Let your faith with SAMs true intimacy. Let your faith not waiver. Let your faith be o pitian. Let your faith asseveror there will be sases of trials. Let your faith have willingness to act when there is need for actions, when somebody needs to be prayed for. Don't wait for a bishop. You come go and pray. Let your faith act so that you too can be numbered amongst the apostles. Let your faith have legacies and posterity. And finally, or louis sustained gratitude. That's why tonight we are doing the tanksgiving, because the fathers were full of gratitude. Abrahams targed not at the promise of God. He was strong in faith, doing what giving glory to God. The ten lepers, when they discovered the way he would, one came back. That was the one God recognized. It's a way of denying. It's the only uk You are made who never forget to show gratitude. And you will see that your faith will move mountains. I am persuaded that from this service some of you will not just become receivers, but you'll become mountain movers. We have many people who have faith to receive, but we have few who have faith to give. A ward is waiting for miracles, A ward is waiting for kindness. A ward is waiting for the demonstration of power. If our ranks is full of those who receive, where will be the witnesses. This is why today faith is not taught to help you receive, but to help you give. But you know the blessings of being a giver. It means you have passed the rim of receiving. Because a man can only give what it has, So those who built faith to give their automatic receivers. I don't know when last I prayed for breakthrough. I don't know when last I prayed for healing. I don't know when last I prayed for open doors. Rather, by the message of God, I speak to people they have breakthroughths. I speak to people they have open doors. I speak to people they are healed. As you leave this service, that will become your passion. In the name of Jesus Christ, give the Lord the Big Hand. Five minutes we're going to praise God and then we'll do our tanksgiving. I speak over your lives, and then we go into the invitation, why we close the church? Are you ready? Do I need to teach you or Thanksgiving? No? You know? So rise up and let's give God thanks. You are going to sing. I'm deliberate tonight because tonight it Thanksgiving. I want us to break through through praise. So as we praise, as we give thanks, as we celebrate, something will be stabbed. My friend Jimmy de Sammist is here with his wife. We're going to bring you specially to bless us one of these days, go to have you. Can we celebrate him? He wre t going him? Aye? Eh? Where is my body mine? Oh? Don't not a came? Oh yeah in my com. Oh cold y'ad in my com I not mother? You know me my ba? Everywhere you go? You eh well? Im you called my almy. H cover lead me. Ever ready? Eh? Where my buggy by? Hey? Malla to call him by? Donamo on your nab Ma. I'm not many on me my mother? Oh my passion everybody Harry's hey, h w. Up my father mo hema you called this my MoMA? M y how you doing comana? It's not your tera.
