The night before Peter was to go 0:11:08.760 --> 0:11:13.679 on trial. He was sleeping chained between two prisoners. There 0:11:13.720 --> 0:11:16.920 were guards outside his cell and two sets of big 0:11:16.960 --> 0:11:20.520 iron gates. A group of believers had gathered at a 0:11:20.640 --> 0:11:24.080 house to pray for Peter. Herod had already put to 0:11:24.160 --> 0:11:28.000 death the apostle James. It looked like Peter would be next, 0:11:28.480 --> 0:11:31.240 but in the middle of the night, while they were praying. 0:11:31.679 --> 0:11:35.000 An angel showed up in the prison. He had to 0:11:35.040 --> 0:11:38.000 wake Peter up. He told him to get dressed. They 0:11:38.000 --> 0:11:41.960 were about to leave. Instantly, the chains fell off of 0:11:42.000 --> 0:11:47.040 Peter's wrist. The prison doors opened. I talked to a young lady that had 0:15:26.280 --> 0:15:29.960 struggled with the drug addiction since high school. Her mother 0:15:37.000 --> 0:15:39.880 had just died and she was going through a divorce, 0:15:39.960 --> 0:15:42.960 and she didn't think she could go on. She'd gone 0:15:43.000 --> 0:15:47.320 to rehab several times with no success. The temptation was 0:15:47.320 --> 0:15:51.520 so strong she would always fall back. After being addicted 0:15:51.560 --> 0:15:55.040 for twenty one years, on the day she buried her mother, 0:15:55.680 --> 0:15:58.440 she got down on her knees and said, God, I 0:15:58.520 --> 0:16:02.480 can't do this on my own.
