The Believer's Authority

And counters the dove the quality of our lives and goud Do's going to reveal to us the futility of life without God. And as we activate talk, mouse and calling in our lives, I'm just going to restore intimacy and fellishing. The land of Zebula, the land of Naftali, by the way of the sea beyond Jordan, Galiley of the Gentiles. The people which sat in darkness saw a great light. And to them which sat in the region and the shadow of death, light is stronger. Encounters come to restore intimacy. Encounters come to reveal to us the futility of life. If you don't have a relationship with God, anything of value can become God to you who welcome to encounter Jesus. Ministries sustaining and experiential knowledge of God and walking in the fullness of our eternal or the now listen to God's servant apostle or Rok for Michael as it takes us through an encounter with the world. I want to teach tonight on the believers authority, and so let's navigate those scriptures and find out why things happen in the lives of people that are not favorable. And you wonder, although there's an all powerful God, why does he allow it the evil that happens in our lives. Is it a proof that God does not exist? Is it a proof that God does not love us? If he exists, and if he loves us, why then are these things happening Genesis one thirty one. Let's see what the Bible says, and then see what we should do. He said, and God saw everything that he had made, and behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day when God finished creation. This is talking about the visible realm. He said he saw everything that he thought he had done, and he said it was very good. Everything he created was very good. And it was the evening and morning that was the sixth day. You know, sometimes, and of course it has been with us for several decades now, the question of evil and the existence of God. And sometimes it's easy to answer when you are not the person going through a crisis. When somebody else is going through a crisis, you can give a theological answer. But when you find yourself in a crisis, then the subject matter becomes personal and it will require an answer that it's not just intellectually sound, but answers that are consistent. With your conviction. And these are the answers that we need to to, you know, answer or give expression to in order for our belief system to truly have meaning. I can assure you many persons are going through very difficult situations. The reason they're serving God now is because they can't deny his existence. But nothing around them suggest it's reasonable to continue serving God. And so this evening, I don't just want to attempt to bring justification to why we serve God. I also want to show us the way out from our crisis, so we know what to do, and then we change our stories by the provisions that the Lord has made available to us. And so we saw in this scripture that everything God created was very good. Now, where does EVO come from? And why has so many peersons been bedeviled by Evu? Second Thesalonian Chapter two. I think that's verse seven. Let's look at it quickly. I'll just pick a few scriptures before I begin to navigate. Except for the mystery of iniquity, Dot already walks or walk. Only he who let it will let until he be taken out of the way, this scripture is showing us two things. Number one, the foundation of evil. The Bible calls it a mystery, But we are not disadvantaged because it's a mystery. He now tells us there is an authority that gives clarence for evil to happen. And so although the origin of evil iniquity is a mystery, if clarence is not given to it, it cannot happen. So our problem is not where evil came from. Our problem is actually who and how was permission given to evil? When he's talking about him that letter, there's talking about the church until the church is taken away. Otherwise, why the church is yet here? The church has the authority to stop evil, And so if evil is happening anywhere, it's because him that lets evil has let it. But if him that lets evil does not let it, EFU cannot happen until he's taken out of the way. And that's talking about the rupture. And so, as far as God is concerned, if WU should not happen except he gives it permission. The only time if WE is permitted to happen is when the church is raptured. Why then is evil happening now is because either through ignorance we have given room to evil or consciously we have cooperated with evil. Otherwise, everything God created was good. Remember in Ezekiah that eight verse sixteen and seventeen the Bible showed us the first time iniquity appeared, and he didn't tell us how it became. He only told us where it was found. Talking about the prince verse fifteen, let's look at those scriptures very quickly. Who you mean, he o, mama, that's who you are. That's who you are. That's who you are. Oh you mean air Oban? Okay, Ma's that's who you are? That sorry? Give me. Fifteen When the Bible was talking about the Charubiam that represented beauty, look at what it said. He said that was perfect in all th ways from the day that that was created. So even this been that first. Opened the gate for iniquity, the Bible said, from the day he was created, he said, he was perfect, he said, till iniquity was founding you. So you see that iniquity. The origin of iniquity is a mystery. However, creation gave permission for iniquity to be found. This being was created. Now this this, this is the scripture that spoke figuratively about Lucifer. You know, there is a debate currently that this scripture is not talking about the devil because of the epistemology of the world. That Lucifer means light bearer, light beer is the responsibility the angel was functioning as a light bearer in heaven. It doesn't mean he cannot be corrupt. When he became corrupt and it fell, he stopped being the light bearer. That Jesus is also called light beerra does not mean and not that creature was not giving opportunity before Jesus to be light bearer. The Bible called Jesus light. The Bible also causes light. So there are offices in the spirit realm that God permits creation to participate in. So this angel, this principality, this Prince of Heaven. The Bible speaking about him from verse thirteen, and it figuratively called him the Prince of Tyra. It doesn't mean he's talking about a human being because the Prince of Tire was not in Eden. The Prince of Tire was not in Zion. It's talking about this personality that he was in Eden, the mountain of God. So you will know that although the Prince of Tire is used, but is a figurative representation of another personality in the spirit. And there are many scriptures that have operated like that. Jesus looked at Peter and it's a getting behind me Satan. He wasn't calling Peter Satan, but what Peter was carrying out at that time figuratively represented what Satan does. This is the nature of this scripture. In the Guardian of Eden, the devil was called the serpent. It doesn't mean he was a serpent, but the character that he demonstrated was figurative sapent. Although the spirit could enter sapen, but we knew that what was happening was not a snake walking. It was a spirit walking through a sapent. So when this scripture talks about this being God Lucifer as a Prince of Tire, because he spoke about him first in Isaiah fourteen vers. Twelve to fourteen, and he's speaking about him here in ezek Kar twenty eight from Vest thirteen to seventeen. He's not talking about the human prince because when we saw discredentious, the Prince of Tires does not have discredentious. Number one, the Bible said, from the day he was made, his taps and tyebreads was in him. The guy was built with his musical instruments. There's no human entity that was built like that. He said ten precious stones. Where he's covering diamond, kabunku, gold, sapphire, there's no human being that his kin is made of diamond, So he's not talking about a human being. He said he was in Eden from in the Mountain of God. There's no human being that was in Eden after Aidan, so he's not talking about a human king talking about a prince in the spirit. And the Bible told us from the day this prince was created, he was perfect. So God didn't create Evu. It is that iniquity was found in him. So even this ping that brought iniquity opened the door to iniquity. The origin of iniquity itself is a mystery, and this should not be too difficult for us believers. For example, there are many things on earth we see today that God really did not create if you look at its essence, but they are in existence. For example, as a chemist, I can tell you that water was not created. I can tell you that water is a combination of two atoms of hydrogen and one atom of oxygen. So if we are debating from a sential perspective, I can tell you God created oxygen and hydrogen. But God decided to meagure together in the ratio and water became. So God does not need to create iniquity. Iniquity can become if you understand how to combine the elements of creation. So the Bible said iniquity was found in this perfect creation. And so this guy was the first that brought iniquity to the spirit them. And it was because of his activity in iniquity that there was war in heaven. They say, I will absorb my true and be like the most high. He wanted to violate the order and the or the nanzis of heaven, and so mikes stood up against him, and there was war in heaven, and he was cast from the mountains of God, and he came to Earth. The moment it came to earth, revelations that the twof tells us whoa to the inhabit. Terms of the earth. The custodian of iniquity has come. And so when God created the man, God decided. Now something happened when the guy collided with Earth. There was chaos on the earth. So when you read Genesis chapter one, that's one the Bible said, in the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. There was no problem with earth. Suddenly he said, and the earth was void. Darkness was upon the face of the deep. There was a judgment on the earth because when that prince came to the earth, he brought chaos to this realm, and so the earth became disorderly. So when God showed up in Genesis one, verse two, God did not create the head. He recreated it. Nobody knows how the earth was created. The creation of the heavens and the earth is a mystery. But in Genesis one, from vest two to thirty one, the Bible showed us how God recreated the earth. That's why you don't know where light came from. That's why you don't know where water came from. That's why you don't know where draggown came from. All of them appeared because they have been created in the first Earth that was destroyed. So it was when this prince fell to the earth that the government of the earth was affected. And so now that God has recreated the heath, God needed a new governor on the earth rem because this guy was the prince that was on the earth in Isaiah fought him from best two earth. He was the ruler of the first Earth. But he decided to exhort is thrown from the earth and both the stars of God and become like the most hard. So his office on the earth had become vacant. Now God wants to another prince, and the said, let us make man in our own image after our likeness, and let them have prominion over the airth ran So a new governor have been put on the earth. And God warned the man, this earth is now under your government. What you do matters. Don't open the door of evil. There you eat of this fruit. You have gone the part of rebellion. And if you rebel, the prince of rebellion will become your god. And the man took it for granted. And the same way this prince opened the door for iniquity, the man also opened the door for intiquity. And the devil came into the earth and brought chaos. And so evil is a mystery. But we know that the devil, who was first of all the bearer of light, is the one that opened the door. And we now know that the way evil came to the habitations of men was when damned aligned to that prince and opened the door. Because when you study house civilizations are built, the things you notice is that spirits rule realms, and every realm is spirit is ruling the rules, and the outcome of that realm is consistent with the nature of that spirit. And so the head too was perfect. Adam was perfect when he opened the door to the devil, and the devil came in the character of the devil now super imposed over the earth, and so the act that was once perfect also became evil. The man that was once created perfect also became evil. And that was not all. The man also became the slave of the devil that he now obeys. Because the love the spirit states that whever you yield yourself savans to obey. He said the Sabbath of him, you are whom you have obeyed. So when he obeyed the devil, he didn't just open. The door to iniquity and evil. He became a slave of the devil. And because it's the first man representing the human race, everything he did had the consequence on every man and on every territory that was within his juridiction. And from that day Evu became natural on the earth that was created. Perfect God has no offense in the matter, because he didn't create iniquity. Iniquity was found in the heart of a prince of light. He gave room for iniquity, and he extended the iniquity to the earth. And the man opened the. Gate to the devil for the iniquity to enter his realm. And now the devil is called the God of this world, and evil is his natural so naturally evil dwells with men. So this is a game of authority. This is a game of legalities. I'm telling you this because everything happening in your life there's. An authority that regulates it. It is ignorance towards Zoom that things happen, nothing happen happens. Everything happening is orchestrated. In fact, when you read your Bible, you are going to discover that even cities were named after spirits. You we think Egypt it is a geographical location. Go and stody more. If you read. Isaiah chapter nineteen, who introduce a spirit as the spirit of Egypt from verse one to verse five, In fact, the spirit of Egypt, according to verse five, is the one that brings counsel, and the counsel is the one that brings governance, and the governance is the need or the reason for rulers. And those rulers are not fest of all men. They are called enchanters, men that have the capacity to interact with spirits. And it's those enchanters. The influence of those enchanters is what creates cultures that enthrong kings. So what you ask saying is a legal structure. That gives room for character of spirits to find expression. And this one is evil because the spirit toombs character is finding expression is an evil spirit. I'm telling you this so that you will know that the cancer is not just a tumor. The cancer is a manifestation of demonic intelligence. That's why many sicknesses they don't know the cause and they don't know the cure. More than eighty percent of the sicknesses in the world are treated. Treatment is not cure. It means manage you for as long as you can survive. So many sicknesses have no cure, from diabetes to hepatitis, to high blood pressure to cancer. She said, Doctor do we have cure for these sicknesses. They don't know what is causing it. When they say somebody have diabetes. They just discover that the sugar is shooting up uncontrollably. The buye is not reduced enough to regulate it. What to do to increase the execration of sugar, they don't know. And what to do to keep the sugar from over shooting they don't know. So all they do is to give you drugs to create some balance. They know that the buie is misbehaving. They know that sugar level is misbehaving. We don't know why, but we can only regulate it. So the whole drugs they give you is to get your pancreas to produce more sugar, to produce more bile, to reduce sugar. So't they're just creating an equally proom. But they cannot stop the sugar level from going off. That's why the best they can do is to treat, because they first seas controlling these things. Even they cannot explain. And the Bible told us when Jesus showed up in accident thirty eight is how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy goals and power. Who went out doing what, delivering healing, addressing every contradiction of man that is coused by who the devil, either directly or indirectly. Because this theme is a game of authority, and so as a believer, if you don't come back to first Salonios to seven and take authority to stop evil, evil will continue. This is the difference between church and hospital. This is why our principles are different. Because when you go to the hospital, they can give you treatment, but when you come to church, we give you power to produce kill because we know the foundation of these things that the doctor can't explain. There are many there's many aspects of medicine now, cause if you're parted medicine, dealing with many things that they can explain. Somebody just goes mand this excuseophrenia. What is the cost? They don't know. They just discover that either the brain cells are reduced or something goes wrong. So all they do is to sedate you to waken you because we have become overcharged. Meanwhile, the guy singing the song, they don't know where he's hearing the song from, but we know, we know that the song is singing he's whispering from another realm, and so all we need to do is to shut the door of that realm and he will become normal. But the doctor can understand it because he doesn't know the foundation of iniquity. He doesn't know where evil comes from. And unfortunately, many spiritual men are untrained. And that's why the Bible said, the natural man, they can a man the sense, rude man receive it. Not the things of the spirit of God. Neither can he know them. He said, they are spiritually discerned. If you cannot truce it spiritually, you cannot deal with it. A generation that understands her authority in Christ must rise, Otherwise evil we keep buffetting us, and we keep accusing. God in our ignorance. Go and read your Bible. Everything God created was good, and it was very very good. It is his creation that eitherm manipulated what it created or open the gate for evil to enter their jurisdiction, because God gave them authority to rule over those jurisdictions. And so this evening, I want to talk to you briefly about the authority of a believer. I'm not talking about the authority of a prophet. I'm not talking about the authority of an apostle. I want to share with you about the authority of a believer, so you will know what to do in order to work perpetually in dominion as to serve their own authority that is consistent with their office. Profits have their own authority consistent with their office. But there is a basic authority that is available for every bilif and I tell you that authority is enough for you to live a Victorio's life. Now, before I delve into explaining to you the believer's authority, let me show you four things that authority entails. Authority is given for Number one, authority is given to enable you. Establish order and governance. So anywhere that is it there is this orderliness is a testimony to the absence of authority. So the problem is not the disorder. The problem is the absence of authority. The moment authority comes, order can be restored. So the first purpose of authority is to establish order and governance. Number two, second purpose of authority is to exercise dominion, because every time you want to establish order, you will notice that there are contrary forces that wants to negate it, and so should in case your order is being advanced, and there is a counterforce. Authority now empowers you to override those counterforces and establish order their presence notwithstanding. And so the second thing authority comes to do is to empower to enforce dominio. The thirteen authority is given four is to sustain order and heritage. Because it's one thing to establish it. It's one thing to counter opposing forces, but it's another thing to sustain it. See, many don't know how to sustain That's why they are here tomorrow. Next month, they are sick. That's why they have a breakthrough today. Three months later they lose it because they don't know that. Authority doesn't just come to establish order. Authority also is required to sustain it. So the heritage of God that you have, we take authority for you to keep it. Everything God that's given to you can be taken from you if you don't know how to keep it. That's why you find many believers today they've lost their peace, they've lost their health, they've lost their prosperity, they've lost everything God gave them because they don't know their. Game of authority. Meanwhile, this is one of the most important engagemental spirits. When you hear about worship, when you hear about sacrifice, when you hear about prayer, all of those things are designed to navigate authority. If authority was not in view, if dominion was not in view, if sovereignty was not in view, worship would be useless, prayer will be useless. So when you see spirits talking so much about sacrifice talking, all of those things are designed to keep authority in place, to show you how important authority is to spirit. Only a Christian take matters of authority for granted. So he doesn't know his authority and he doesn't know how to exercise it. This is why there's no order in his life. This is why he cannot exercise dominion. This is why he cannot sustain his inherit terms in God. He sees it in scripture that it should be healthy. He doesn't know why he's sek He sees it in scripture that is should prosper. He doesn't know why he's poor. He sees it in scripture that is life. It's a shining and a bright light. He doesn't know why everything is dark less there. Is lack of authority. If you understand authority, I know how to wield it. Your life can change and the difference will be like night and day. Uh. You know when I look around the world, I look around friends, family, sometimes I'm heartbroken. You see the healthlessness of humanity. Even if you try and give your own. You see this cover. It's not an. The hardship is enormous, their oppression is enormous. Take widows only and see what they go through. You will exhaust everything you have. They can't care for half of them. Look at offans, then look at their abuse in government, in leadership? What is costing people? Just because five people forming Kabar in the country, you'll see over ten thousand people kidnapped, more than three thousands of them named. Maybe liver is pulled out and sold head is. Cut off, kidneys plunged out, children are cut out of their mother's who just because five people from Kaba looting the money of a nation, you'll hear of ambro brickcases. Graduates that should be thinking productively, there is no hope anywhere. They have tried. Six years after graduation, nothing to do, and they turn to arms. Young ladies with great future. The best they can achieve for themselves is prostitution and the whole thing is because six people have sat on the government seat and they exhaust one ten they force themselves get another time. And when they finish. As governors, they go to become senators. They finish as senators, they become president, and for twenty years, aggregatively, twenty five people sell off the heritage of a country. And sometimes I wonder how God we joged this world, because I tell myself it's not enough to say I'm sorry. The day you will die, in fact, you will not remember to repent. You will go to hair and so far in the lake of fire because of the hair that you have put on people who are on it. We cat men hoping that before they die they will say, Lord, I'm sorry. You will not remember. You deny one hundred million people from food, thousands of people kidnapped, be headed because of your greed, and you think you'll not come on your death bed. I said, I believe in Jesus, hey die for me. You will not remember. Even if they prey to you. You won't believe. If you're don't repeat now and change the lives of people, you will not. You must test that hell that you put other people through. It breaks my head when you see you know some of you don't. You are not in leadership when people come to you for counseling, for prayer and you see broken humanity. You can't tell the number of women that I have had miscarriages because hospitals have no equipments. And these equipment moneys are located. But the useless politicians God that's that money, say it's going to do Bay Holiday with his family, and to make things worse, even people who God give spiritual responsibility. And now on the orders stealing from these same people that church is. The last hope. And then you come to church instead of a pastor to tell you the truth of godswels to grow you up. It's only interested in your money. And the whole Gospel from January to December is designed to steal from ordinary parishioners. And so people are in charge for ten years. They are learning nothing, there's no transformation in their lives. At the end of the day, they remain in church because all they know is religion. At least that one gives them hope. If people don't repent, God with George. So what you say, we can't remain in lamentation, So we must find out what to do to change our lives. This is why Jesus, in his benevolence, grants each and every one of us access to authority. And so you must understand your authority as a believer, and you must know how to wield it because unfortunately Evu it's in your world. Evu is around you, and evil has even coming to you. You need to know what to do in order to push Evey away from your life and work in the victory the Christ has procured you. And so there are three things about the believer's authority. Of course, the fird purpose of authorities to advance purpose, to advance a gender divine agenda as touching your destiny. Because of my time, I will summarize the believers authority into three to help you remember and learn how to apply. It because you will need it. Praise God, Praise God. Are you following me so far? Proud again, right, So don't be of abodied, if not for anything at least in this service those who are you to be sick lessons will be healed, if not for anything, Those who are carrying bodies of causes it will be broken. If not for anything, those who are manipulated by demons, the influences of those demands will be broken from their lives. Why do we trust God for wisdom to navigate other aspects of our lives, to understand and to walk in the liver's authority. There are three definite revelations you must have. Number one is the revelation of your DNA in God. Number two is your revelation of your position in Christ Jesus, and number three is your revelation and yield deadness to the leadership of the Holy Spirit. These are the three major things that furnishes the believer's authority. Any believer you see exercising dominion has these. Three things actively functional in his life. He has an understanding and it sustains a consciousness. Of his DNA. He is deliberate and is revelatory about his sitting position with Christ, and is also deliberate about his yield deadness. To the Holy Spirit. If you don't know what you are made of, if you don't know or where you are standing. And if you don't know how to submit to the leading of the Holy Spirit, you will be frustrated in life. As far as the supernatural is concerned. What brings you into authority as a believer is your revelation of who you are, your revelation of where you are sitting with Christ, and your revelation and submission to. The leading of the Holy Spirit. And I can tell you there is many people are suffering today, not having direction in life, not drawing wisdom from God, not ascribing the favor of the Spirit. Is because these things are lacking. Many don't know who they are. Circumstances has given definition and identity to them, and unfortunately they are living by the identity the circumstances has given to them. When you read the Bible, you are going to find many people like that. A man called Batimios was blind, unable to do anything on the society carding blind Batimios, and because society gave him an identity of a helpless person, he had no choice but to condescend to the level of a beggar, and so he was living at the mercy of others. This is what false identity does to everyone of us. I'm telling you you cannot live above the consciousness of who. You think you are. A king who thinks is a beggar, even if he's put in a palace, will reduce and deteriorate to the level of a beggar. Come after a while, that pallace will become a begging ground. Because the identity is wrong. The manifestation must be consistent with that identity. This is why, when we are dealing with the subject of authority, the first place to start is the place of who you are in Christ. And if you read your Bible from Genesis, chapter one, verse twenty six, God said, let us make man, And he didn't just make man after any order. Find the order in which man will be made is that let us make man in our own image, after our likeness. Because we don't want this man to draw relevance from any other thing. We want this man to rule over the visible realm. And so if this man must have an identity, the identity he sustained must be superior to everything in the visible realm, because if he draws his relevance from anything in the visible realm, that thing will be lord over him. If this man will be lord over creation. Then he can't draw identity from creation, and so the only thing superior to creation was God himself. So God designed the man in his own image after his likeness the moment the issue of identity was solved. Verse twenty eight. Let them have to minium to minion, over word, over all the visible creation, because there is nothing in creation that is superior to the dna of the man. And because the man's identity is consistent with God, only God will be seen to be bigger than him, and because of that he can exercise authority. Let them have dominion over everything that is in the water, everything that creeps upon the earth, and everything that flies in the air. The man cannot rule over the visible realm except as his identity is consistent with God. And so so long as that man walks and sees himself like God, nothing can dominate him. The day the man with four is the day he ascribes relevance to something else other than God. And true to that, the day he obeyed the serpent, the serpent became his God, and the man became his sleeve. So your identity is very key in your exercise of authority. This is why, when you read the Bible. It is replete. You are like God. You are created in the image of God. Go and check your scripture. You will find it in John Matthew five thirteen and fourteen John A twelfth. Jesus said I'm the light of the world. Matthew five and fourteen is say you are the light of the world. He's trying to reprogram your consciousness that everything I am, that's what you are. Because if you don't think that way, you can't rule. You are of God little children John John five, verse four, and have overcome them. Because if you don't see that you are of God, you can't overcome. You are of God little children and have overcome them. Why great is he that is in you, then he that is in the world. And so anybody who works in authority must learn to detach himself from his ancestors. With that ride in things that are limited. Am Ibo, and we are wise people. Go to China. You will see those who are wiser than ebos Ami Dama. So we are we are proud people. You have not seen pride. Go to Germany. If you meet a German the way he w we are appeared. Even this looks we intimidate and so instead of you comparing and drawing relevance from early things, you have already been pedestaled in the class functions in that class. In second Peter of the one Verst. Three, the Bible. Said, according as his divine power, according as his divine power has given on to us all things that patains to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him that has called us to glory and virtue and invest Four, he said, he has made us my goodness. He had given us exceeding great and precious promises, that by this we might become partakers of the divine nature. We are partakers. That's why I told you we are divine. We are not ordinary men. See, the reason we work by faith is because we know that the elements respond to us. Faith is not hoping that things we have. Faith is knowing that you're in control of things and those of them who come for Bible study. I told you. Difference between divinity and deity. The word divine is an adjective that represents anything that comes from God. The word deity is in now that speaks of a being that should be worshiped. We are not deity, but we. Are divine because we are partakers of the divine nature. I taught you on Tuesday that when you thirty God, there are two attributes that defines his nature. There are the essential attributes and they are the moral attributes. When you look at the essential attributes of God, God is a tanner. That means there's never been a time where God is not He is before the beginning. Firstivalu one seventeen we said God is only impotent. That means he's all powerful. And it's not just all powerful. He has the power to put his power under his will. Revelations nineteen, verse six were said God is self existent. That means nothing created God. He created all things, and so he doesn't even for anything. Rather everything lives for him. God is the only being that is the reason for his own existence. Number four, we said God is all many science. That means God knows all things. God can learn. There's nothing to learn anymore. All knowledge is in him, and he knows all things that has ever been and all things that will ever be, at all times and in all times. And we say God is in new table, meaning God cannot change.
