Stephanie Ike - Can God Trust You

But let us go into the Word of God, and we're gonna pray God is doing something. Oh my God, we're gonna read from First Chronicles fourteen sixteen to seventeen, and the Word. Of God says, So David did. As God commanded him, and they drove back the army of the Philistines from Gibeon as far as Gezar. Then the fame of David went out into all lands, and the Lord brought the fear of him upon all nations. Heavenly Father, we thank you. We thank you for your word. We thank you for your presence in this house. We thank you, Lord for what you're doing. Even when we don't see you, you're working, even when we can feel it, you're working. Lord, You never stop, You never stop working. And so, Lord God, we thank you that everyone who came into this house you appointed them to be here. Everyone who would listen to this, you appointed them to listen. Lord God, we thank you for this posture that says, Lord, what we seek is You, that what our life is, the goal of our lives is to worship You, is to have a heart that is after what you are after. And so Lord, have your way in this room like you're already doing. Holy Spirit, we thank you for the work you've already began completed through this world and through the lives of your children. In Jesus' mighty name. Amen, family may be seated. Amen. Amen. You see. I love that scripture as we talk about David and as we just come into this moment and this posture and this mindset of worship. David was such a powerful worshiper. And there's something about a worshiper that is such a weapon in the hands of God because the key to a worshiper is their heart. That their heart is after what is after they have a heart for God. And that was the man David was. You see, the Lord began to show me what He's about to do in this season and what he's already started, but what would be accelerated. And so the title of this messages, Can God trust you? Can God trust you to carry his assignment? Can God trust you to carry the weight of His glory? Can God trust you with what He has or deigned to be established on the earth? You see, we read about David. A little backstory about David. David is introduced. To us in the scripture. You know, in the time of the reign of a man named Saul. Saul was king at the time over Israel, and Saul, you see, Saul wasn't king because of like birthright or anything like that. Israel was at that time Israel. They didn't before Saul even started reigning, Israel didn't have a king. You know, the Lord took pride in being their king, But all of a sudden they lost sight that they were the priesthood, that they were of the royal family of God, that they did not need a royal family to reign over them. You see. The way their structure was it was a bit different. They had a prophet named Samuel, and the prophets were the ones who would speak the mind of God to the people, that they would reveal the will of God for the people to walk and then to follow. And so this prophet would appoint judges and he would instruct the judges, and that was the system of authority at the time. The prophet was really the person of the person who had an authority figure. But all of a sudden they were like, no, we want a king like everyone else. They were looking at the neighboring towns and the neighboring cities and nations. They said that, no, we want a king just like them. And so Samuel tells the Lord, He's like, they want a king. The Lord tells Samuel, He's like, you know what, they're not rejecting your leadership, they're rejecting mine. And he says, they want a king, Will give them a king. So the Lord appoints this man's soul. But Saul was appointed and anointed by God. But the appointment of Saul did not withdraw the hand of God from the people. It did not stop God being leader over the people. You see, every time that God appoints us into a position, it is our submission, our continual submission to His word that keeps us there. And so Saul is appointed by God, and so he's appointed by God to be part of God's agenda. That saw, your appointment is not for you to do whatever you want, that this is to be part of My agenda and my will and my purposes. But Saul becomes king. Saul is happy, the prophet is happy. Everybody is living their best life. But all of a sudden, Saul begins to stray from the word of God. He begins to go against the word of God because now he had his own personal issues. Fear came in the mix. He wanted validation from people, he said, having anxiety the people are leaving him. He's like, and then so he instead of making these impulsive decisions, because now instead of having a fear of God, a reverential fear of God, he started focusing on the people. And so God looks at what Saul is doing, and God says, Saul, you are coming against my will for this nation, and if you're not going to be part of my agenda, I will find the person who is. So then God finds David. So God reveals, he tells the prophet Samuel, He's like, you know what, I've rejected Saul as king, but I have found a man after my own heart. God said concerning David that he will fulfill my will. And so David is. Now introduced to the scripture. You see when God talks about David, he's looking for a man he could. Trust, and that was what he found in David. One thing I've learned about God is that God loves everyone equally. You never need to worry about God loving you. The moment God stops loving you, he stops being God, because that is just who he is. God cannot help but love you. But God does not trust everyone equally because trust is something that is developed. Trust is something that when God. There is a posture you have before God in order for God to trust. You with what he desires to do. You see, there's a scripture that says It's in Second Chronicles sixteen nine. It says, for the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show himself strong on behalf of them whose hearts are fully committed to him. For anyone taking notes. That is second Chronicles sixty nine. You see. And sometimes I used to wonder, I'm like, God, what is this thing? What is this? You know? This big deal the Bible we always read about commitments, surrender. Trust and all of this. Why what is the big deal about us being so committed to your will? And the Lord began to show me that in life you're really only building two kingdoms. You're either building the Kingdom of God or you're building the kingdom of darkness. That there is no in between, you see, And in building the Kingdom of God, the beautiful thing is that it actually builds you because the truth of who you are is in the Kingdom of God. The Kingdom of God, we see the manifestation. It's not this vague concept about the Kingdom of God, you know, it's really it's really about following the word of God, obedience to God. It's as small skill as your kindness towards somebody that reveals the fruit of the Holy Spirit. You can scale it up by when God instructs you to start a business because of what He desires to do through that business, and you can scale it up even more if you're running. For president under a call of God. It does not matter what it looks like, because how we establish the Kingdom of God on the earth is through our obedience to who God says we are, through our obedience of the call of God in our lives. And so this is how the kingdom is established. But sometimes we may wonder, but God, what if I want to just do my own thing for a little bit is not going to harm anybody. But when we've truly examined it, a lot of times, this idea and concept of doing my own thing, it's always rooted in something that is outside of the fruit of the Holy Spirit. That we want to do something out of our selfishness, out of our pride, out of our fear, out of our insecurities, and we don't realize that all of this makes room for the enemy to bring in his agenda. You see, there was something that Jesus gave us insight to. There was a moment that he was with his disciples, and Jesus was telling his disciples He's like, you know what, I'm going to go to the cross. I'm going to die and I'm going to be resurrected. It was above their heads. But Peter instead of saying, hey, Lord, explain to me what do you mean by this? Because they couldn't understand, like, Jesus, what do you mean that you're going to die? You're going to be resurrected. I mean, you're a lord, so why are you going to die in the first place? Peter pulls Jesus aside. The Bible tells us that Peter rebukes Jesus. He's like, Jesus, you gotta chill out, bro you trip it. And then the Bible tells us that Jesus looks at Peter and says, Satan, get behind me. But then the key to that is that he later tells Peter in that same breath, he tells Peter that your mind is focused, that your mind is not on the on the concerns of God, but that your mind is on humanly concerns. He was almost like he was telling Peter that the way the enemy had access to you was because of where your focus was. That Peter, yes, you may be afraid. Because you see if you if you follow the pattern of Peter, Peter changed based on whatever environment he was in. When he was with the Lord, he was a warrior for God. When the Lord is going to the cross, he's like, I don't know this man. So Peter Peter is someone who he He didn't know. Who he was like he was still trying to find himself. And so the thought of Jesus dying, it's like, who am I going to be? What is gonna happen to me? What about everything I've sacrificed. Peter ultimately was afraid that what would this. Mean for me? And Jesus reveals in that moment that Peter, any actions that comes from the place of fear or your insecurities, the result of it is gonna build the enemy's kingdom and not mine, because Peter, if I listen to the words that you're saying, then I'm going against the very will of the Father. And so everything we do in life, it's. Either building the kingdom of God or it's building the kingdom of darkness. And so for God's desire, when it comes to obedience, it's not that it adds to God. It makes him more God. Obedience has a benefit for us. We find ourselves in the word of God. The most authentic version of who we are is in the. Word of God. And so we find this story with David. We see David as this man in the scripture. The Bible shows us the story of how his obedience let all of a sudden, led to him reigning in fame. And what is so fascinating. About this is because you see, there's something God showed me. And I'm trying to see what parts to share, but. There was something the Lord. Because there are some things that it's not it's not to bring you know, worry or anything like that. But one of the things that the Lord showed means that we are in a season already. We're seeing it where we're seeing people in with influence and authority where they are carrying the message of God, and the Lord began to show me that it is going to increase at a greater capacity. But he is. Looking for the people that he can trust to carry what he's doing. Now. The interesting thing about that is because there is something connected to obedience and something connected to God bringing you influence. Now, there is a process to it, because it does not mean. That if you don't have influence, because you can have influence in your home, you can have influen want in a community, in a group, in a society, in a country. But that there is something that the Lord is. About to do that is gonna shift a turn of events and this and we're gonna look into some things. I'm just I'm I feel like there's a shift in this message and I want to see how God wants us to go. Thank you Jesus, Thank you. Jesus, Thank you Lord, Amen, ammen. Okay, I guess we're gonna go there right right, okay, okay, okay, okay, We're gonna just take a quick step and die. But before I go to where I want to go, let me just go. Let me let me trace back to David. Let me let me start there. You see, it's gonna be interesting. But you see, something that I love so much about David is that when God sought him out, it was not just about God seeking a man to establish his kingdom. It was also about God seeking a man that could handle the weight of being revealed. Because it was always the destiny of David to be king, it was always part of his destiny. God is not just looking for someone to throw into something random. God is looking for who he can reveal, who he can trust by showing them who they really are. You see, earlier I was studying, when I was studying for this word, and so it's where I live. I have a home office area, and so I was in the home office area and all of a sudden, a corner of the floor it changed. So you know how like in the movies you have like the little spiral things and it looks like you're going somewhere. I don't know what that is, but yeah, back boom. So a certain corner of the floor changes like completely and it turns into this thing, and I'm like, am I, you know, high on the Lord, not sure what's happening, And all of a sudden, in the middle of it, something is beating like almost like a heartbeat, like just and it's just going like at a rhythm, and I'm looking at it and I'm very confused, and I'm like, should I go closer? I might go into the sinking place or something. And it happens for a few seconds, maybe lasted maybe about thirty forty seconds, and then the floor just goes back to normal. And this is on the second level, so it's not that you know, something that's happening downstairs, and some people are just you know, bumping, and it was just the whole floor changed its form and everything. And right after that happened, the Lord began to speak to me about the scripture in the Bible that says that all creation are eagerly awaiting the revealing of the sons of God. And he began to show me, and then it took me all the way to Genesis. You know, what's so interested in the book of Genesis is that everything God created was created for Man, who was now created on the sixth day, and so all creation came to serve what God will do through Man. And it was in an interesting way, this dynamic and this hunger of all creation waiting for us to be revealed. But the Lord began to show me again that. But the revealing of us comes at a cost, because it comes at the cost of our desires and our will and what we feel like we should be doing in all to surrender to say, God, what is. It that you desire of my life? And the beautiful thing is because you see family that has been there. There is often this misconception, and I talk about it a lot, and I will keep talking about it. There's this misconception about what it means to be obedient to God, and we always think that it comes with laws and it comes with God. But you're taking from me. But just again, you're. Either building the kingdom of God or you're building the kingdom of the darkness. So if you're building the Kingdom. Of God, you realize that God, I cannot even fully trust what I think is my desire. I need to submit it because there's something powerful about submission. Submission purifies what it is that you're desiring. Where God begins to reveal to you the intent and the motive of your desire. You see the beautiful thing in the scripture he read. At this point in David's life, he was already king and he just became king. I mean, David had been through it all. You know, the man was for like ten plus years. He has been he had this call on his life for ten plus years, and then he finally becomes king. And he becomes king and his enemies hear about it, and they're like, wait, hold up, now they want to attack David. David could have easily said, you know what they're coming against me, let me grab my men and let's go to war. The first thing David does is that he sought the Lord, should we go after them? And he was willing to accept God's no because he wanted to make sure God, you show me, is this desire out. Of my ego? Is it my pride? Is it to show people that please? I am not the one to mess with. I finally just got here. So he brings it before the Lord, and the Lord says go, and the Lord gives him a specific strategy on how to go about it. And when he did as a scripture said that David did as God commanded him, and all of a sudden, as a result of this, David's name goes throughout all the nations, and the fear of him is on all the nations you see out of that David had influence. Influence is seen when your person has an effect on the character or the decisions of people all the nations. It was like who David was had an impact on how every nation would respond or would interact with Israel because of what God has caused his name to produce. And what God was showing me. Is that there are things that there are ideas, and there are things that He would do with kiss people that will cause them to be sought out by leaders. Because what needs to happen in our time is that the prophetic voice is the voice that will begin to rule over nations, and he's going to do it in such weird and uncommon ways. God would begin to give you visions. God would begin to do uncommon things to the things that He's called you to, and it would raise you to a place of prominence. But it's not for what you want to do, because ultimately it is to draw people to God. You know, we're in a generation. That it's so interesting that you ask, you know, you ask our the next the generation coming after us, you know, what do you want to do when you grow up? And they say social media influencer and you're like, what are you influencing social media? And we have lost the understanding that no influence is not just for influence, that there has to be a purpose behind it. You see what I love what I love about this story of David. When I look at David and. Saul, you see a lot of people would argue and say, you know what, if God always called David, then why did he appoint Saul. But the beautiful thing is that there are sometimes in life that what God appoints you to, he does not call your seed two because he called Saul in the time that David one was not ready. Because again, even though David was anointed king, he didn't become king until ten p us years later. And secondly, there are things that were that needed to be developed in David and all of that. But God called Saul. But God did not call Saul's children. And so the same way that God will call us the things that he did not. There's no reference in your family, for there's no reference to the people that you're connected by blood for. But God all of a sudden begins to surround you with a spiritual family that you can. Be exposed to and you can be exposed. To the things that they've done and the way they're believe in God, and all of a sudden you have a reference for faith on another level. And so this is the beauty family, This is the beauty of even the House of God, that when we come into the House of God, we know that Lord, that you are connecting me to people's stories and their testimonies, that they could be a reference to believe at a greater level for the things that you're calling me to. And so, yes, God called Saul, but God did not call his seed. And the beautiful thing with David, David did not even hear what God said about him. God spoke about him that this is a man after my heart. David never heard that. David was just doing his thing. He was after God. And I wonder sometimes if he ever questioned God, am I really who I am? Was this out of it? Was this a mistake? Was this a fluke? Is this because I simply killed Goliath? But you see, even before time, it was already written that that would be David's destiny. How many of us sometimes feel like I got in here by accident. I don't know if this was really who the life that God called me into. God, did I just show up here? Was this a default plan? Or was this always the plan you had for my life? You see, David, it's so amazing. The Book of Matthew Matthew one, chapter one, when it's when we are introduced to Jesus's lineage, it says Jesus the son of David, the son of Abraham, that before time it was already written because Abraham would represent the covenant that God made to Abraham, that Abraham threw your seed, all the earth will be blessed, but that David will represent the royal lineage of Jesus. It was already written before time. But when we walk in it, when we start walking in the unfolding of God's plan, there are times where the enemy would want to creep up and start making us feel like, David, did this just happened because Goliath showed up? Or David, is it because of who you are Goliath showed up? You say? Sometimes we think is the other way around, that I just happened to be here? Or is it because I am here that the giants showed up? And so family, there are few things I want to touch on because your heart would be your greatest weapon. Pastor toay that during the called leadership experience, he said, my heart is my soil. As God expands my heart, he expands me, he expands my territory. And so there are a few things. That God placed on my heart when it comes to what would prevent God from trust in us? And the first thing is that what is the story you tell yourself? You see, something I love about David is that when you study the life of David, David was the eighth son of his father, but it seemed like David and his father were. Not really on the best of terms. It seems like David went through some kind of rejection from his father because ultimately, when this prophet Samuel comes to the father's house and he's coming and he's telling them that, hey, I've come to annoyance the person. I don't know if he really told them all the information, but basically they know that whatever reason he's there, it's big. The father calls everybody to line up except David. He leaves David with the sheep almost and it shows us that there was this this connection, there was this you know, trauma of rejection that David could have been dealing with. But for some reason, David was able to overcome the limitations of his experience, because you see David as a shepherd. He was the one that took care of his father's sheep. When we take on the identities that are placed on us, it would reveal itself somehow. There's some things you cannot hide. You cannot hide your if you're carrying on a spirit of rejection, it cannot. It's not hidden. With your relationships, you will you will find yourself pushing people away when your call to steward over things you would rather than it be rejecting you. You would reject it first. So you will find yourself in this rhythm of sabotage that before I can fail at something, I rather just quit right now. You see, if David carried on this identity of rejection, then it would have been revealed in how he was a steward over what belonged to his father. If he saw his his father as someone who rejected him, then he would have rejected that which he was supposed to take after. But then we see David as the man who would put his life before the sheep. The Bible tells us about how he conquered the bear, and he conquered the lion. But all these things was to protect what belonged to his father. And so while he was going through whatever he was going through as a child, he took on that I am not the seed of rejection. I am a child of the most High God. David did not tell himself the story that things would never work out. He told himself the story that if God before me, what can be against me? You see, we have to we cannot take on this false humility about life. I remember when the. Lord showed me here were the things that he will show me, a glimpse of the things that he was calling me to. And for a moment I began questioning. I was like, God, are you sure? Because the truth is, it's good to be a little bit afraid, because then you realize that I need God in order to do this. But it's not. It's a different thing if that fear cripples you. But when the Lord showed me this, I was like, God, I don't I don't know this. This is different. And the Lord reminded me of something when I was sixteen years old. My mom till this day, she keeps this in her heart. When I was sixteen years old at the airport and I was coming out here for college, and I told my mom, I said, Mom, the Devil doesn't want me to come to America because he knows that I would overcome him in America. And my mom didn't know where that came from. And I didn't know either, because at sixteen, I wasn't really on, you know, team fight the devils. I was trying to live my best life and love the Lord. But I came from my spirit even though it had not caught up fully in my mind. And what the Lord began to show me is that there is always a seed of who you are in your spirit that is trying to come out, and we have to have we have to be able to be still enough and silence the doubts in the mind, and. You would hear who you are. But if you allow your mind to overtake you, you will never give room for your spirit to breathe and communicate to you. The more that it's trying to come out, the Lord revealed to me. He said that Stephanie, at sixteen, that understood that there was a call in her life, that understood what it meant against the kingdom of darkness. He said, you did not understand it, but your spirit knew it. And that spirit that was awakened to what I was doing should be the spirit that aligns what I'm showing you right now. And there was no room. God did not even give me room to say, oh, I understand, it's all right. You see there. There are times when God gets angry, and a lot of times he gets angry over ignorance. The Bible tells us about two occasions where Jesus wept. The first one he wept out of the compassion of his heart and his love for this woman Mary, because Mary was just a worshiper. Lazarus had died, her brother had died, and Jesus was taking his time because he understood that, hey, I'm about to go raise Lazarus. Everything is going to be good. But all of a sudden he sees Mary and she's crying, and she's like, Lord, if you would have been here, he would have been alive. And the Bible tells us that Jesus looked at Mary, and he looked at the people crying with her, and he wept. So Jesus wept once, you know, he went for a compassion love. The second time, the Bible tells us that he was going into Jerusalem and it was because of the. Ignorance of the people. He was so sad that it brought him to tears because he wondered that if you would have known, what would have brought you you peace? But now you are blind to it. You see, God does not take ignorance lightly. So when he reveals who you are to you, he does not dance around with this idea of God. Could it be? We see the same interaction with Moses when God is speaking to Moses about who he is, and Moses is like, oh, I can't speak, but he's speaking, and God clearly understands him. And God is like, what is wrong with you? Who is the maker of mouth? First of all, you just saw a bush burning without being consumed. Now you're trying to debate with me that you can't go because you can't speak. And so when God shows you who you are, take some time and be steal. Don't be in a hurry to say God, could it be? Because you want to tap into this false sense of humility. Take some time and say God, if this is what you're showing me, then I want to run after this. I want to cling to who you say I am. What is a story that we tell ourselves? David did not tell himself the wrong story. He told himself the story that I am a child of God and anything God empowers me to do, I can do that thing. You see. The second thing that prevents us is on faithfulness. The Bible says something in Luke sixteen twelve. It says, and if you have not been faithful in that which is another's, who will give you that which is your own. David was faithful as a shepherd. David was faithful under the leadership of Saul, even though he knew he was next. Even though he. Knew that he was anointed as king, David still served Saul, and the Lord put this question on my heart, what is the record of your faithfulness? You see too often we jump around and we bounce around one idea to the the next, this and that. And it's not because we're confused. It's not because we're trying to find out, God, what are you in? If we're honest, it is because we got bored. We felt like, ah, you know, this is taking too much out of me. We start making all these excuses. But just like I spoke on Sunday, if God put you there, you need to stay there because God looks at your record of faithfulness that if you have not been faithful with that which belongs to another, then how would. You be faithful with who you really are? Because what you're handling when when you're serving under someone, when you're serving an idea of vision or person, you're being faithful with what God has revealed about that person. And if you cannot be faithful with the revelation of God that is outside of you, how can you be faithful with the revelation of God that is you. You see, we always think that when it's us, we will do better. But the truth, it's really about character. It's really about what you develop. It's a muscle that must be trained that if you can handle what belongs to another, when God begins to give you ideas and revelations about the things that He has called you to do, you will be faithful to that thing too. Because the process of faithfulness, it shows you the impact of the hand of God over a thing. And so when God begins to reveal things about who you are, you recognize that God, if your hand is on this, then I have to be a good steward over it. You see. The third thing is impatience. You see, one of the things I love about David so much. During his while he was called as king and anointed as king, there were times that Saul really did not like him, because Saul recognized that, Okay, you look like a threat, and you might be the one that God called and rejected me for. So there were many times that Saul tried to kill him, and so David. Was on the run. But David had several opportunities to kill Saul, and he would have had every reason to do it. You're after my life. I'm actually the ones to be king anyway. And these were men of war, you know, these were men that God had raised in war. So David killing Saul, I don't think God would have really frowned upon it. I'm just thinking he would have been like, you know, David, this is just like when you killed Goliath. This is a giant in front of you. But David had several opportunities, and David never laid a finger on him because David realized, he said, no, this is still a man anointed by God. God. I don't need to help you to get to get me where I need to be. You see, patience in our lives reveals that we trust God. Impatience is when we are trusting what we feel like we should do, and a lot of times impatience. Is rooted in our own selfishness. God, it needs to happen now because self, my time feels like it's running out. I've been on this for too long. It's taken I'm tired. But David said, God, I'm not gonna help you get me to where you said I will be. I'm not gonna cheat the process. I'm gonna trust you. I'm gonna wait on you. You see our ability to wait before God shows God that that one I can trust. You. See. The last thing is fear. And I'm sure there might be other things that God begins to reveal to you, but just the things that he dropped on my spirit fear, you see, Saul. What cost Saul his position ultimately was fear. The wrong type of fear. He said, to be afraid of the people and their opinions and what they will say about him, and what would happen if he does this this way and he does that that way. But David was a man who had a fear for God and not man. David was not looking at the popular opinion of people if it did not serve the will of God. And so sometimes having the wrong fear can hinder you. You see, I'm even reminded talking about Lazarus and Mary and all of this. There was a time that Mary. She takes this expensive jar of perfume. The Bible tells us that it was almost worth one year of wages. That's a lot of money. Mary takes this and breaks it at the feet of Jesus to anoint him. The disciples look at Mary and they're like, why this waste? Mary? What is this? And then Judas, the one who betrays Jesus, It's like, ah, you could have sowed it, given it to the poor, and the Bible, the Bible is like, first of all, you didn't care about the poor. Judas. For those that don't know, Judas was a thief and he controlled the money back. So Judas was like, wow, we could have sold it and I could have gone shopping or something. You see. The beautiful thing in that is that when people oppose what you do, what you hear is their opposition. But you don't know their agenda. So you may wonder and feel like God, but they're against me. But in being against you, whose kingdom are they building? And so there are moments that you have to step back and not be so quick to listen to what is coming against what you're doing, because you're not validated because the people don't agree with what you're doing. What is their agenda? Because Mary could have listened and said, oh my gosh, like you guys are right, there's the poor, we should sell this and give to the poor. Jesus is like, the poor will always be with you. I got. Real talk family, because Jesus realized the value of her sacrifice. He realized that Mary, in this moment, your focus is not on anyone else, but your focus is to prepare me for what I'm about to step into. And so it's not to listen because when you're listening to the voices of others, whose kingdom are they building? And sometimes the people on the wrong side are much louder than the people on the kingdom's side. And so it's to take the time and say, God. Whatever you speak to me, it may not be popular opinion, but I'm after building something that is worthwhile. I'm after building something that will last. I want to build what you're building an ultimately that also builds and reveals me. God is looking for people that he could trust, and it's gonna shake up our nation. And you're gonna see this. This is not something that's gonna be hidden. Their things that are gonna happen in this generation. That it would make the Bible not just a storybook to people. It will make the Bible come to life because we there is there is, there are, there is a move of God. There is a real move of God that will point the way that we worshiped and we honor that Jehovah, you are the most High God. There is a move of God that would reveal that indeed, Jehovah is the most high God. And He's gonna do it through in ways that it's just it's it's almost unimaginable. When I loved it, when they were singing and they were saying exceedingly abundantly above all we can ask or think when God goes beyond your imagination to reveal his power on the earth, but all he's looking for, can I trust you with it? Can I trust you to carry authority and influence and not be consumed by it, but to serve my purpose with it, because that's all it's about. There are two things. One thing the Lord showed me one time about the spiritual realm is that there is no emptiness. Everything is occupied by. Something, There is no void. And what I love about that is that it shows us that there is nothing you do is random. It's serving one or the other. Nothing you do is just this random thing that you wake up and decide to do. It either is empowered by the spirit of God or is empowered by a demonic spirit. There is really no in between. Because you see, family, we are spiritual beings. And so when we're looking at the decisions in our lives, decisions that carry weight, be mindful not to be so quick to make a decision simply because you're frustrated or you're angry, or you're mad, or you're fearful. Who's a gender are you serving right in that moment? Because I kid you not. Peter was never thinking that he was walking hand in hand with the devil. Peter was never thinking that in this moment, my mind has influenced The thing. That is so crazy, is that right? Before that moment with Peter and Jesus, the Father spoke to Peter. Peter heard from God about the identity of Jesus. So Peter is in a spiritual high. Here's a look at me, hearing straight from heaven. And he got a little cut up, was feeling himself a little too much that he even thought, my fears are appointed by God. Sometimes you have to check yourself and do a self assessment. God, whose kingdom am I building in this moment? And that should be what drives us and what directs is God. I want to serve what you're about. I want to build what you're building. Stand with me, family. There are two things I want to pray into. And the first one is when speaking about the things that causes that prevents God from trusting us. If any of those things spoke to you and you know that you need to lay that before God, I. Want you to meet me at this altar. Thank you Lord, Thank you Lord, Thank you, Jesus, thank you, Jesus, Thank you Lord. And the second thing, if you know that God is already doing or work in you, and he's elevating you, and he's putting you in new rooms, and he has elevated you to new realms of authority and influence. But you've been distracted, and to be honest, you're abusing the power of where He's positioned you. And that does not mean that you will stay down. That does not mean that you will you will you would be outside of the will of God because there's always a way to get back up. The Bible tells us that though that talking about a righteous person, that though they. Fall seven times, they will get back up. You see, even David at the time in his life, got really distracted while he was king. Doing his thing. One day, there his army, they're at war. David decides, you know what, I felt a lot of battles, you guys, I'm gonna sit this one out. He should have been there. And then he's on his. Balcony just taking a stroll and somehow, I don't know how the kingdom was set up at that time. He sees a woman taking a shower. I said, what kind of building is this? David sees this woman and he's like, wow, look at that woman taking a shower. I must have her. David is so far from himself. He finds out that this woman is married and her husband is someone. Who serves faithfully in his army. David now says, well, seems like they're at war already, so let's position him where he could die. But the crazy thing is that David was so distracted that even when the Lord brought it to his attention, and the Lord did it in such a way that a prophet came to him and expressed to David should be done to this type of man and explains what David had done. David was like, oh, my gosh, this person should be killed, and the prophet is like, wow, I guess you want. To kill yourself. The prophet shows him that that person is you. He was so removed. From his actions, he was so distracted by his position that he lost sight. But David came right back to God and submitted and surrendered that to God. He said, God, I've been distracted and I've abused the place that You've put me in. But forgive me. And if you know that. God has changed your circles. But you've been abusing the authority and the power and the position that he has put you in, I want you to meet me at this altar that we would pray, and I'm praying for the strength for you to have the grace for submission to say, God, I never want to lose sight that you're the one that brought me here. I don't want to get caught up in the glamor of things that I lose sight. And for some maybe you're distracted even by people, by relationships, just finding yourself in different situationships simply because you can. And what you don't realize is that not only is there is there are you living a trail of hurt and betrayal and disappointment, and now people have to work out their issues with God simply because you engaged in something that you knew was never supposed to start in the first place. And so in those moments you think that I'm just having my fun, but the enemy says, I could. Use you to so hurt in this person, and so we get distracted. This woman lost her husband out of David's distraction, even though yes, her and David ended up together. You know that was interesting turn of events, but there was a pain that was a loss, even she was pregnant with David's child, and that child died because the Lord understood that I cannot let this. This is a seed of contamination, and I will take this child with me and he would be I would raise him in heaven. But the Lord gave them another son, and that son's king after day after David Solomon. Because at the end of the day, God is a restorer. It was beautiful to see that the person that God will appoint as king would come from the relationship that started as a distraction, because God would restore. But we have to be honest with ourselves. God. If I am. Using what you've given me to build what the enemy's agender, God, I want to submit again, give me the grace to always know that, Lord, you are the one I live for. If you're still if you're still. Standing and you're wondering, and you're like in your seat or in your roles and you're wondering about the person looking next to you, don't worry about that because maybe this is a moment for you to break out of that fear right now, the. Fear of what would people think. So if you know I'm speaking to you, come down to this altar right now. Thank you Jesus, Thank you Lord, Thank you Lord, Thank you Lord, Thank you Lord. The most beautiful thing is that God sees you. It's not about who's looking, because what you don't even know is that by you just walking, you're actually encouraging another person while you think someone else is talking about you. And lastly, family, if you know that you have not given your life to Jesus, if you know that you have been living the life of your own agenda and of your own will, and in this house, you're recognizing that maybe what I think is just this free spirited nature, that I'm actually building a kingdom that does not serve me, that does not serve my best, does not serve my good. It does not even reveal me. Rather it conceals me even more. And you want to know what it's like to hear the voice of God. You see, this is the interesting thing about God talking about Saul. When the Lord understood that Saul, it doesn't matter what I say to you, you're not listening. The Bible tells us that the moment that God rejected Saul, that the prophet who symbolized the one who he saw, would hear what is it that God is saying? Is said the prophet did not see Saul until the day he died. He backed away because God cherishes his word He's not going to release a word for that word to just be for that word. It's almost like that there's a way that the scripture puts it that do not cast your purse before swine, that I will not release that which is valuable to the one that does not know how to handle it. And so maybe you've never heard the voice of God, and it's not because you haven't heard him instruct you will direct you. He's been knocking on your heart and you feel that you feel that there is an invitation from God. But before God begins to speak to you about things that are valuable, he wants to know will you handle them properly? Because the word of God is not something that to be played with. The Bible tells us that he watches over his word for it to be fulfilled. So when he releases a word, there is an atmosphere that is required for that word to fall into, an atmosphere that he knows that you will cultivate what I'm saying. And so you've been questioning God, I feel like I don't know, and i feel like I'm not hearing you. And the Lord is saying. Have you made room to take what I've said? As valuable because I will not release a word in an atmosphere that. Does not value it. You can feel my presence, you can feel me around you, you can feel me knocking on your heart. But until you make room for me, there are things that will always be hidden in me. And if you know that, Lord, I want to give my life to you. I want to surrender. I don't want to live this life, this free spirit person in different ways and doing whatever I feel like doing. No, God, I want to build your kingdom. If that is you, I want you to boldly lift up your hands. In this room. Thank you, Jesus, Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Jesus, Thank you Lord. Can we just rejoice about what God is doing? Thank you Jesus. Hallelujah, Hallelujah. Family, let us pray Heavenly Father, We thank you Lord. You invaded this space, you invaded tonight. O God, I thank you because there's so many miracles already happened, that healing already took place. Oh, thank you Jesus. I thank you that cycles were already broken, addictive patterns have been stopped tonight, O God, that even the taste of the things that there was addiction connected to Lord that it has been removed. And Lord, I thank you for your children at the altar. I thank you Lord for the things that they have recognized and they say, God, I don't want anything about my life to stop. You from trusting me with who you say. I am, Lord, as you are looking, as you are searching, or who you can make yourself strong in for the earth and all the nations to know who you are, to draw people to who you are. Oh God, Lord, here we are, Send us. Here we are, Oh God, I thank you Jesus, because where there is an awareness that God this area in my life, it seems like that is the barrier. But the moment of awareness means that that barrier is broken. And so Lord, we thank you. Here we are. Lord, send us. We know that you love us, But God, we desire. That you trust us everything that you have spoken. Lord, We're not gonna take it lightly. We're not gonna look at our lives as this random thing. We're gonna recognize that our lives are, our decisions. Our words. It is building some thing, and we desire for it to build the right thing. I thank you Lord for those who have acknowledged and said, Lord, you have positioned me in places and I have abused it. And this is a moment where they. Are renewing their minds towards the place that you have sent them. We thank you, Lord, and we thank you for the grace, the grace that comes from you to empower us to stay in a submitted place and say, Lord, your will be done, Your kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven and heavenly Father, I thank you for those that you also showed me, that they have been faithful, and they have been wondering, God, did what you say? Is it still active in my life? Lord? I thank you. That their service, their worship, their faithfulness has come before you like a sweet smell, a sweet set before you. And in a short time, in a short time, in a short time, Oh Jesus, in a very very short time. You're flipping the script because you have seen. Their development, and you're speaking over them that I trust you, and because I trust you with this, you will carry what will cause my will to be manifested on the earth in a short time, in a short time, in a short time, Lord, even as where even right now you're showing me a clock. Thank you, Jesus, Thank you Jesus, Thank you Lord, Thank. You Lord, Thank you Lord, Thank you Lord. Lord. It's so beautiful how you watch over your people. And the truth is is that even really, even when we don't see it, you're working that there is a time and a season attached and assigned to their lives, and their season is approaching. That there is a season. Lord. I remind you by your word that said they would be like those that dream, that it would seem so good to be true that it would wonder is this a dream or is this my reality? But Lord, may we never lose sight of what it serves. May we never lose sight that this is to serve your kingdom and is to serve your purpose. Have your way, Oh God, I thank you for everyone who said, Lord, I want to surrender and submit my life. To you, come into their hearts. Actually, for those that lifted up your hands, just repeat after me, Lord, Jesus, come into my heart. I confess with my mouth that you are my Lord and my savior. I belong to you. Have your way in me speak. Lord, I'm listening. Thank you, Jesus, Thank you Lord. Family. Can we just praise God in this house? Wow? God is doing something it's so beautiful. Thank you Lord.
