Shame wants to shackle us. It handcuffs us to our lives’ worst moments, binds us to the opinions of others and ourselves, and holds us from reaching our destinies. What's worse? Buried shame grows roots in us, until we don’t recognize ourselves anymore. But Jesus is much stronger than shame. When you start speaking God's truth to your past and present feelings, you gain the supernatural power to shake the shame off you.
