Speaker A 00:00:16 And another thing I don't know, I like to read a particular passage of scripture that I'm dealing with, studying, meditating about. Speaker A 00:00:41 But I find that the more I do this, the more that thing's built into my spirit, the more that I begin to glean from it. Speaker A 00:00:49 And you get to a point to where you get past that monotonous state and you get to a place where you begin to see something new every time you read it. Speaker A 00:00:59 And so I don't think you can ever get enough of the Word of God. Speaker A 00:01:02 I don't think you can read it too much. Speaker A 00:01:04 In fact, it would really be satisfying to me if I had time enough where I could just not do anything else but read the word of God. Speaker A 00:01:12 Praise the Lord. Speaker A 00:01:13 Let's read here from John, chapter one, verse one. Speaker A 00:01:17 In the beginning was the Word. Speaker A 00:01:20 The Word was with God, and the Word was God. Speaker A 00:01:23 The same was in the beginning with God. Speaker A 00:01:26 All things were made by him, and without him was not anything made that was made. Speaker A 00:01:32 In him was life. Speaker A 00:01:34 And the life was the light of men. Speaker A 00:01:37 The light shineth in darkness and the darkness comprehended it not. Speaker A 00:01:43 Now we've been talking about in the image of God. Speaker A 00:01:46 We've been talking about the image in God. Speaker A 00:01:49 The image of the heavens and the earth, the inside of God. Speaker A 00:01:55 And God framed that image with words. Speaker A 00:01:59 And then the Bible, you know, says right here, in him was life. Speaker A 00:02:03 Life, the force of life, the power, the creative power of life was on the inside of God, began there. Speaker A 00:02:15 And he took words that created and frame or paint or create the image that was in him, released those words filled with the power of life, filled with faith, and then brought this living universe into existence with those words. Speaker A 00:02:35 And he drew from that blueprint that image that was on the inside of him. Speaker A 00:02:40 He comprehended it and designed it, and then took life filled or faith filled words and spoke this thing into existence. Speaker A 00:02:49 Praise God. Speaker A 00:02:50 And if there is any characteristic of this planet, if there is any general characteristic of this universe, if you could use a word to characterize the things that are around us even today, I mean, even after the curse came on the thing, if you could categorize this thing with one Word, you know what it would be? Speaker A 00:03:11 The things alive. Speaker A 00:03:13 Everything around you is alive. Speaker A 00:03:16 It is living. Speaker A 00:03:18 It is living. Speaker A 00:03:19 Even after the spirit of death himself was released into the atmosphere of this planet, do what he may, life still survived and operated. Speaker A 00:03:30 And the word of God began to grow in this thing again until life itself walked the shores of Galilee. Speaker A 00:03:38 Praise God. Speaker A 00:03:40 And then he absorbed the law of sin and death and destroyed it. Speaker A 00:03:48 Praise God. Speaker A 00:03:50 And I like what Romans the eighth chapter, the first couple of verses says Praise God. Speaker A 00:03:55 The law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of, of sin and death. Speaker A 00:04:05 Praise God. Speaker A 00:04:06 All right, now we talked about this. Speaker A 00:04:09 God and His Word are the same. Speaker A 00:04:12 God framed the inner image inside of him with words, released it and brought this universe into existence. Speaker A 00:04:18 Then we talked about the fact that God sent His Word into the earth after death, entered into this thing and Satan took hold of it. Speaker A 00:04:30 He had authority over man. Speaker A 00:04:32 Man's inner consciousness had, had died or been separated from God. Speaker A 00:04:37 Life was on a very low, very shallow level in this earth. Speaker A 00:04:43 Fear was dominating. Speaker A 00:04:45 Death was dominating the law of sin and death was in motion. Speaker A 00:04:50 And then God began to get His Word into the earth. Speaker A 00:04:54 And he called a man by the name of Abram, changed his name to Abraham and, and began to make certain promises to this man, began to make a covenant, began to release His Word. Speaker A 00:05:03 And what God was doing, you know, kind of behind Satan's back. Speaker A 00:05:07 Praise the Lord. Speaker A 00:05:08 He began to put His Word out. Speaker A 00:05:10 He began to this image on the inside of God. Speaker A 00:05:15 Hebrews the first chapter says Jesus is the express image of God, the expression of that image of God. Speaker A 00:05:23 See. Speaker A 00:05:23 And God began to release his word. Speaker A 00:05:25 Kind of like a jigsaw puzzle. Speaker A 00:05:27 It came piece at a time and it would be revealed. Speaker A 00:05:30 The Bible said it was hidden as a mystery and a secret to be revealed in these times by the prophets. Speaker A 00:05:35 And, and God would get ahold of a man, you know, and the man would allow God to use him and he'd be his mouthpiece and he'd deliver pieces and bits of that faith filled word into the earth. Speaker A 00:05:46 And that Word was a living thing. Speaker A 00:05:47 And I don't care how hard the devil tried, he couldn't get it out of here. Speaker A 00:05:52 He couldn't get it out. Speaker A 00:05:56 God just kept on doing that and kept on doing that until he got all the pieces put together and His Word was out. Speaker A 00:06:03 The whole old covenant had been released into the earth. Speaker A 00:06:09 And the Bible said that. Speaker A 00:06:11 You reread last night, you know, in the third chapter of Galatians, that God was making a promise to Jesus, his seed, and he allowed Abraham to handle it. Speaker A 00:06:23 I think we ought to go back over there right now and momentarily read that again and pick up on it. Speaker A 00:06:28 Get that into our thinking before we go on with what we're going to talk about tonight. Speaker A 00:06:32 And expand this some more. Speaker A 00:06:34 Galatians, the third chapter, the 16th verse. Speaker A 00:06:39 Now, to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. Speaker A 00:06:43 He saith not unto seeds as of many, but as of one, and to thy seed, which is Christ. Speaker A 00:06:50 Now look at the 19th verse. Speaker A 00:06:52 Wherefore then serveth the law? Speaker A 00:06:55 It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made. Speaker A 00:07:01 The promise was made to Jesus. Speaker A 00:07:04 And it was a promise. Speaker A 00:07:05 You remember. Speaker A 00:07:06 God began to say things like, walk perfect and upright before me and I'll be a God to you, and I'll take care of you. Speaker A 00:07:13 I will umbrella you from the curse, and you'll be blessed going in and coming out in the country and in the city and you'll be blessed in your storehouse. Speaker A 00:07:22 And you'll be blessed this way and blessed that way and blessed every other which way. Speaker A 00:07:26 Praise the Lord. Speaker A 00:07:27 I mean, just blessed all over the place, you know. Speaker A 00:07:30 Well, you see, God was not just simply promising this to Abraham. Speaker A 00:07:35 The promise was to Jesus. Speaker A 00:07:38 And Abraham was allowed to use it. Speaker A 00:07:40 He was allowed to handle it. Speaker A 00:07:42 God knew Abraham wasn't going to walk perfect. Speaker A 00:07:44 He couldn't. Speaker A 00:07:45 He was a spiritually dead man. Speaker A 00:07:49 But he knew, praise God, when his word had gotten into the earth and was completed in all of its ways, that the Holy Spirit would have his hands on the raw material in this earth in order to bring to pass one that would walk, praise God, perfect and upright before God. Speaker A 00:08:08 And whatever he said, God would back it with his power. Speaker A 00:08:11 And the heavens and the earth would shake when he spoke. Speaker A 00:08:14 And the sea would be calm and the wind would quit blowing. Speaker A 00:08:17 Praise the Lord when he said, peace be still. Speaker A 00:08:21 Well, of course, Satan didn't have anything to say about that. Speaker A 00:08:24 He could say what he wanted to. Speaker A 00:08:25 The man hadn't sinned. Speaker A 00:08:27 And here God's covenant was out, called the Abrahamic covenant. Speaker A 00:08:31 It was out. Speaker A 00:08:33 God had his word out. Speaker A 00:08:34 See, his word was in the earth and as a living thing. Speaker A 00:08:37 And here walks this Jesus, and he walked perfect and upright before it. Speaker A 00:08:42 Praise God. Speaker A 00:08:45 That beautiful. Speaker A 00:08:47 You know, I never will forget how startled I was when I saw that. Speaker A 00:08:51 I used to think Jesus did all these things because he was the Son of God and he was the spotless, sinless son of the living God. Speaker A 00:08:59 But that's not the reason these things worked for him like they did in his own earthly ministry. Speaker A 00:09:03 They worked for him because he stood on the word. Speaker A 00:09:07 Did you know he didn't use anything in his earthly ministry to minister as a prophet? Speaker A 00:09:12 Abrahamic covenant that's not available to the believer today. Speaker A 00:09:15 He didn't use one thing that isn't available to the believer today. Speaker A 00:09:19 Now, that's startling to the carnal mind. Speaker A 00:09:21 But I'll tell you what, your whole heart rise up on the inside of you. Speaker A 00:09:24 You begin to see that. Speaker A 00:09:25 See, he said he never did claim to heal anybody. Speaker A 00:09:28 He said, it's the Father that dwelleth within me. Speaker A 00:09:30 He doeth the works. Speaker A 00:09:33 Well, who's that dwelling in you now? Speaker A 00:09:39 Some of you need to begin to put some confidence in the God that's dwelling in you. Speaker A 00:09:43 Your own inner image needs to be changed where this is concerned. Speaker A 00:09:47 I remember when it got changed in me. Speaker A 00:09:49 I had an inner image of a God that I was praying to was somewhere so far away it might take a week to get his attention. Speaker A 00:09:56 And God spoke to me one night in Amarillo, Texas. Speaker A 00:09:59 I was walking up on the wing of the airplane, fixing to get in the thing, go home. Speaker A 00:10:02 And God spoke to me, standing on the wing of that airplane and said, how much faith are you placing in the God that is within you now? Speaker A 00:10:14 And it, boy, it turned me around, I had to admit, if any, very little. Speaker A 00:10:24 I began to recognize that God said. Speaker A 00:10:27 And then I found it later in the Scripture, 2nd Corinthians 6, chapter. Speaker A 00:10:33 I will dwell in them, I will walk in them, and I will be a God to them. Speaker A 00:10:44 See, he put all that in one place. Speaker A 00:10:46 I'll walk in them, I'll dwell in them, and I'll be a God to them. Speaker A 00:10:50 And I will be their father, and they shall be my children. Speaker A 00:10:55 Praise the Lord. Speaker A 00:10:56 I began to realize that that man I was wall to wall Holy Ghost. Speaker A 00:11:03 I began to realize he's in there. Speaker A 00:11:07 He's in there. Speaker A 00:11:09 He's not waiting on me up at camp someplace. Speaker A 00:11:16 Come down off of the mountaintop, you know, and say, oh, I'll be glad we have camp again. Speaker A 00:11:21 Get up there where the blessings of the Lord are. Speaker A 00:11:24 Well, he came home with you. Speaker A 00:11:26 You could have had one this morning for breakfast instead of sitting there watching as the stomach turns. Speaker A 00:11:40 Boy, I tell you what, things are bad enough, ladies, without watching that mess. Speaker A 00:11:44 I just have to tell you. Speaker A 00:11:46 Oh, dear God. Speaker A 00:11:49 Oh, my goodness. Speaker A 00:11:51 I'll tell you, that's the most ungodly bunch I ever heard of anyway. Speaker A 00:11:54 I don't see how you sat there and watched that. Speaker A 00:11:56 10 easy lessons on Adultery and Dope. Speaker A 00:12:02 Wow. Speaker A 00:12:04 Okay. Speaker A 00:12:08 God sent his word in the earth and it produced the ministry of Jesus. Speaker A 00:12:13 Now we read here that wherefore then serveth the law? Speaker A 00:12:17 It was added because of transgressions till the seed should come to whom the promise was made. Speaker A 00:12:22 It was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator. Speaker A 00:12:25 Now it said now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. Speaker A 00:12:30 Not seeds of many, not plural, but singular. Speaker A 00:12:33 Then you read right down there, you know, in the 29th verse and says, and if ye be Christ, then are you Abraham's seed and heirs according to the promise? Speaker A 00:12:43 Praise God. Speaker A 00:12:44 It's still singular and you're the seed. Speaker A 00:12:46 You see, God is trying to get us to see this. Speaker A 00:12:51 We have had the idea, and it was partially true, but we had our priorities in the wrong place. Speaker A 00:12:58 We have had the idea that God did all of this in order to produce the ministry of Jesus at Galilee. Speaker A 00:13:07 And he did not. Speaker A 00:13:09 That was not the ultimate goal. Speaker A 00:13:11 The Bible says that Jesus was the express image of God. Speaker A 00:13:16 And we recognize the fact that. Speaker A 00:13:17 You see that of course in the book of Hebrews when it's talking about that, it's talking about Jesus after he was resurrected from the dead. Speaker A 00:13:25 He's the express image of God. Speaker A 00:13:28 And we realize, and we, but, but we realize that's true. Speaker A 00:13:31 But at the same time we begin, we begin to think like this, that God did all of that for Jesus, but he didn't do it. Speaker A 00:13:44 And he didn't do it for himself. Speaker A 00:13:47 He didn't need that. Speaker A 00:13:50 He didn't need a redeemer. Speaker A 00:13:54 Jesus sure didn't need one. Speaker A 00:13:58 The devil's not going to get one. Speaker A 00:14:02 Now there's some folk going around preaching that he is, but it's a lie. Speaker A 00:14:06 Either that or God lied 1. Speaker A 00:14:08 The devil, 1 that lied wasn't God. Speaker A 00:14:14 The image that God had in himself and the purpose for doing it was the image of the reborn, resurrected spirit filled man. Speaker A 00:14:34 The image that God had in him when he started. Speaker A 00:14:38 All of this was not the image of Jesus. Speaker A 00:14:42 It was not the image of himself. Speaker A 00:14:45 It was the image of a man that had been sinned, but transformed or recreated into a sinless, blameless, immortal, eternal, everlasting man. Speaker A 00:14:59 And then he made Jesus match that image and come here and pave the way in order to make you that reborn spirit filled in the image of God. Speaker A 00:15:11 Man, you were the reason for redemption. Speaker A 00:15:14 You and I were the reason for it. Speaker A 00:15:16 And we were the image that was in the heart of God. Speaker A 00:15:19 And he caused Himself to conform to that image. Speaker A 00:15:22 And the first thing he conformed to was the image of sin. Speaker A 00:15:25 He was made sin with your sinfulness and sick with your sickfulness. Speaker A 00:15:33 We get our priorities right. Speaker A 00:15:36 God's number one with us. Speaker A 00:15:39 But you know who's number one with God? Speaker A 00:15:43 You. Speaker A 00:15:47 You. Speaker A 00:15:49 He gave his number one to get you. Speaker A 00:15:57 He gave his only one to get you. Speaker A 00:16:04 Would you like to see that in the word of God? Speaker A 00:16:07 Some of you are looking at me like a dog in a new pan, batting your eyes. Speaker A 00:16:12 Don't know whether to believe such a thing or not, folks. Speaker A 00:16:16 God's not a getter. Speaker A 00:16:18 He's a giver. Speaker A 00:16:21 God is the only perfectly, totally unselfish being that has ever been in existence that you and I know anything about. Speaker A 00:16:30 We need to get rid of our inner image of God as a selfish person and replace it with the fact that God is love. Speaker A 00:16:40 He's not a getter. Speaker A 00:16:41 He's a giver. Speaker A 00:16:44 Now you looking in the book of Ephesians. Speaker A 00:16:46 You're next door to it in the second chapter. Speaker A 00:16:55 And you hath he quickened or made alive who were dead in trespasses and sins wherein in times past you walked according to the course of this world, According to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience, among whom also we all had our conversation in times past. Speaker A 00:17:16 And the lusts of our flesh fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, were by nature the children of wrath even as others. Speaker A 00:17:25 But God, who is rich in mercy, see, he's rich in mercy. Speaker A 00:17:31 Rich in mercy for his great love wherewith he loved us. Speaker A 00:17:36 Now this is the great love wherein he loved us. Speaker A 00:17:39 It didn't say he did this because he loved Jesus. Speaker A 00:17:42 He didn't say he did this because he loved himself. Speaker A 00:17:45 He said he did this where in his great love he loved us. Speaker A 00:17:49 He's filled with mercy even when we were dead in sins. Speaker A 00:17:56 And hath quickened us together with Christ by grace are ye saved. Speaker A 00:18:02 And hath raised us up together, made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. Speaker A 00:18:10 Now, folks, we have even taught in our Sunday schools with this inner image of. Speaker A 00:18:15 Of a selfish God. Speaker A 00:18:17 We've taught in our Sunday schools that the reason God had us born again. Speaker A 00:18:21 I remember when I was little old, born at Baptist Sunday school. Speaker A 00:18:24 That's one of the things they used to tell us. Speaker A 00:18:25 I used to hear that all over and over again. Speaker A 00:18:26 I think back on it now and I can't understand how come I didn't believe it anymore. Speaker A 00:18:30 And I did, many, many times I heard it just didn't stick to me somehow. Speaker A 00:18:36 But I just kept hearing this over and over that the reason God has us saved in the first place is so when we get to heaven we can lavish our love on him and so we can praise him all and so we can pour our love out on it. Speaker A 00:18:50 You know what? Speaker A 00:18:50 I thought that even till I was grown, I had an immature image of God in me Till I was 30 years old. Speaker A 00:18:58 And I never will forget when I read the scripture right here, the next verse, back up there and read that again. Speaker A 00:19:06 You see the fourth verse. Speaker A 00:19:07 This is all one sentence. Speaker A 00:19:09 God, who is rich in mercy for his great love, wherewith he loved us even when we were dead in sins, made us alive together with Christ, and hath raised us up together and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. Speaker A 00:19:21 Now, see, that a colon right there. Speaker A 00:19:24 That a colon grammatically can be changed with the word. Speaker A 00:19:29 So that could be substituted. Speaker A 00:19:34 That punctuation there could be substituted with the word. Speaker A 00:19:38 So let's read it that way and see what it says. Speaker A 00:19:42 Raised us up together and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus, so that in the ages to come he might show the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus. Speaker A 00:19:56 There's a reason he did it. Speaker A 00:19:58 Just got through saying he raised us up together and made us sit together in heavenly places so that he could show his kindness toward us. Speaker A 00:20:04 Now God's going to spend eternity throughout all the ages to come showing out for you and me. Speaker A 00:20:11 What do you suppose he's liable to create in the midst of all that? Speaker A 00:20:16 After he's shown you all that he's ever done, what do you suppose he'll come up with next? Speaker A 00:20:22 Just to bless the family? Speaker A 00:20:26 Anything love can think of. Speaker A 00:20:29 And love can think of anything it has to to love with. Speaker A 00:20:33 Because it's limitless. Speaker A 00:20:36 It's limitless. Speaker A 00:20:38 You think of all the things that have been invented and discovered and so forth because of war and killing and hate, and you can get some idea of how much greater things can be produced because a man loves his family and what a man will do for a family that he's in love with. Speaker A 00:20:59 And when you find a man that is truly, dearly in love and absolutely sold out to the love and the life of his wife and to the love and the life of his children, and his children are sold out through the love and the life of him. Speaker A 00:21:12 I'm just now learning how this thing works. Speaker A 00:21:14 I've been in love with my family for a long time. Speaker A 00:21:17 But I'm just now figuring out how this thing works. Speaker A 00:21:19 And God's been sharing it with us. Speaker A 00:21:22 I tell you what, if you fall in love with your family and then you go to God and say, hey, I want you to help me here. Speaker A 00:21:28 I prayed. Speaker A 00:21:29 I said, God, I'm not going to let the devil have my kids. Speaker A 00:21:31 I absolutely refuse. Speaker A 00:21:33 You've made me responsible for this household. Speaker A 00:21:35 And bless God as head of this household, I'm not going to allow the devil in. Speaker A 00:21:38 He doesn't live here. Speaker A 00:21:39 He's unwelcome here. Speaker A 00:21:40 And if he trespasses here, he's going to get hurt some kind of bad. Speaker A 00:21:44 Because I'm not going to set for it. Speaker A 00:21:46 My wife won't set for it and neither will either my kids. Speaker A 00:21:49 So we've just made up our mind of this, see? Speaker A 00:21:51 And I prayed. Speaker A 00:21:51 I said, now I need fellowship with my children. Speaker A 00:21:54 We travel all the time. Speaker A 00:21:55 We run around all over the country all the time. Speaker A 00:21:57 And I'm not going to quit that doing what I'm called to do. Speaker A 00:22:02 And I'm smart enough to realize, you know, that I'm going to have to believe God where my kids are concerned. Speaker A 00:22:07 I said, I want you to help me with that. Speaker A 00:22:09 I want you to help me and whatever it takes to fellowship with my children. Speaker A 00:22:16 I want you to help me now. Speaker A 00:22:18 That's what I prayed. Speaker A 00:22:22 And I want you to know in less. Speaker A 00:22:27 In less than 120 days, I had two boats and four motorcycles. Speaker A 00:22:35 I mean, just as fast as we. Speaker A 00:22:37 Just as fast as you could make out the titles on them. Speaker A 00:22:41 The kids came in and said, daddy, we want a boat. Speaker A 00:22:44 We like to have something where we could get out where there's not any telephones. Speaker A 00:22:48 We could get you out in the middle of that lake and couldn't somebody call you on the phone, you know, and you have to go or something? Speaker A 00:22:53 I said, all right, I'll tell you what you do. Speaker A 00:22:55 This is your faith project. Speaker A 00:22:56 You believe for it. Speaker A 00:22:57 I said, momma and I aren't going to believe for it or against it. Speaker A 00:23:00 We're not going to disagree with you, but we're not. Speaker A 00:23:03 If you get it and get it on your own faith, if you don't get it, you'll lose it on your own unbelief. Speaker A 00:23:09 So they, you know, they liked the idea of that. Speaker A 00:23:11 So they went in there and Kelly got her tablet out and they wrote down an agreement and John drew his name on the bottom of it and they took it in there and we didn't tell them what to do with it. Speaker A 00:23:20 We didn't suggest anything. Speaker A 00:23:22 We just sat there and agreed as they prayed. Speaker A 00:23:24 I didn't even PR Kelly went in there and pinned that up on the refrigerator. Speaker A 00:23:30 And every time they'd walk past it, she'd slap that thing and stop and she'd say, thank God for the boat and go on down the thing. Speaker A 00:23:41 10 days from that day. Speaker A 00:23:43 Now, 10 days from that day, we didn't tell not one single soul. Speaker A 00:23:48 But God never mentioned it to a human being. Speaker A 00:23:54 Ten days from that day. Speaker A 00:23:56 There's a fellow called me on the telephone early of the morning. Speaker A 00:24:00 My God, man, he said, I got to get you to forgive me. Speaker A 00:24:02 I said, why, what'd you do? Speaker A 00:24:06 He said, God told me a few days ago to give you my boat. Speaker A 00:24:10 And I didn't do it. Speaker A 00:24:11 And he said, boy, when I woke up this morning, God jumped right in the middle of me and said, you go call that preacher on the phone and get him that boat. Speaker A 00:24:19 And he said, man, he said I had to do it. Speaker A 00:24:21 Well, he said, this is really on me something terrible. Speaker A 00:24:25 Well, you know, I got so excited, I called the kids. Speaker A 00:24:28 I said, we got our boat, praise God. Speaker A 00:24:30 And he brought the thing over. Speaker A 00:24:33 The almost new bass boat. Speaker A 00:24:36 Fishing boat, man, live. Speaker A 00:24:38 If I'd have built that thing myself, it wouldn't have been any closer to the specifications that I desired. Speaker A 00:24:46 And I thought, well, I don't know what the kids are going to think about this fishing boat. Speaker A 00:24:50 But right now I'm not going to argue about it. Speaker A 00:24:52 You know, about 8:00 that night, there's a guy called me from up Nebraska. Speaker A 00:24:59 Brother Copeland, would you forgive me, please? Speaker A 00:25:01 I said, what for? Speaker A 00:25:04 By this time I'm a little, you know, I'm a little bit gun shy when the guy starts talking to me that way. Speaker A 00:25:11 This was 8:00 in the morning, and now I'm talking to this guy about 7:45, 8:00 in the evening. Speaker A 00:25:15 He said, the other afternoon when I was talking to you, which was about three days before, he said God was dealing with me and actually spoke to me and told me to give you my boat. Speaker A 00:25:25 And I didn't do it. Speaker A 00:25:27 And he said, where'll I bring it? Speaker A 00:25:32 And I thought, oh, I don't know. Speaker A 00:25:38 And so I hung up. Speaker A 00:25:41 And I sat there a minute. Speaker A 00:25:43 I said, lord, what's going on here? Speaker A 00:25:45 You know, I thought maybe God had one of them in reserve. Speaker A 00:25:49 So if the other disobeyed or something, I didn't know. Speaker A 00:25:52 Cause see, I hadn't prayed about it. Speaker A 00:25:54 I didn't Know what to expect. Speaker A 00:25:55 The kids had gotten this done. Speaker A 00:25:57 And so I went in there and I went back in the bedroom. Speaker A 00:26:04 I said, lord, I want to know what's going on here. Speaker A 00:26:07 I said, I don't know just exactly what to do. Speaker A 00:26:11 Now, see, right there, God departed from some of our religious thinking. Speaker A 00:26:18 Some of us would have said, why, that naughty preacher's got two boats. Speaker A 00:26:25 You're going to have to get to a point to where you start giving without conditions attached to it. Speaker A 00:26:33 Well, at any rate, I got in there and I got praying and the Lord spoke to me just as plain and said, go in there and get that agreement that Kelly rose. Speaker A 00:26:40 And I went in there and got it. Speaker A 00:26:43 I really hadn't paid any attention the way she wrote it out. Speaker A 00:26:45 I showed her the scriptures to use and everything. Speaker A 00:26:47 I got in there and got to look at that down there. Speaker A 00:26:49 She said, father, we agree together today as follows. Speaker A 00:26:54 According to Matthew 18 and 19, we ask you to provide for us the perfect boat. Speaker A 00:27:01 The Lord said, ask her what she had in mind when she said perfect boat. Speaker A 00:27:08 So I called her in there, I said, kelly, what'd you have in mind when you wrote perfect boat on there? Speaker A 00:27:12 She said, well, daddy, you like to fish? Speaker A 00:27:15 And she said, we wanted something that you could fish in and said, we like to play and ski and something we could all sleep in. Speaker A 00:27:22 Well, see, that second boat that night that guy gave me was a 22 foot cruiser. Speaker A 00:27:30 And I said, well, Lord, wow. Speaker A 00:27:33 I said, lord, what about this? Speaker A 00:27:35 He said, well, that kid wanted a perfect boat and it took two of them to do it. Speaker A 00:27:42 Now that's just a little bit, you see about what God will do for his family. Speaker A 00:27:47 And see, what I prayed for to start with was something so I could fellowship with my family. Speaker A 00:27:52 And the next preaching tour we went on. Speaker A 00:27:54 I got home one afternoon, we got home off the roof, drove in from the airport, and there was a guy sitting out in front of my house with the title to his motorcycle in his hand, waiting for me to come home just because I wanted to fellowship with my kids. Speaker A 00:28:11 Listen, we have had some times together, particularly when you begin to look around you and everything you've got, God provided it and you know it. Speaker A 00:28:21 And you didn't have to put the pressure on the people to get it. Speaker A 00:28:25 You just went to God and kept your big old mouth shut. Speaker A 00:28:27 And God just spoke to somebody someplace and that somebody came and did it. Speaker A 00:28:31 And the man. Speaker A 00:28:32 Listen, I'll tell you something right now. Speaker A 00:28:34 The guy that put that boat in my hand told me the other night in Springfield Missouri, well, up north, Springfield, Missouri, up there at the regional convention I was preaching at. Speaker A 00:28:42 Came around there to me and said, say, I want to tell you something. Speaker A 00:28:45 He said, God has moved toward me. Speaker A 00:28:49 And he said, we've been through some awful hard spots financially. Speaker A 00:28:54 But he said, I want you to know God's done some miracles for me. Speaker A 00:28:57 And he said, brother Copeland, I'm knocking right on the door being totally and completely out of debt. Speaker A 00:29:01 And he's a major businessman. Speaker A 00:29:09 Praise the Lord. Speaker A 00:29:11 This is the way the family operates. Speaker A 00:29:12 Now. Speaker A 00:29:12 What do you suppose God will do through the ages to come just because he's in love with his family? Speaker A 00:29:18 God's a lover. Speaker A 00:29:19 God is the lover. Speaker A 00:29:21 He is love itself. Speaker A 00:29:23 Amen. Speaker A 00:29:24 All right, we've studied a little bit from the Book of Mark. Speaker A 00:29:29 Let's turn over there for a moment and we'll read here. Speaker A 00:29:31 We've studied this in the afternoon services to some extent. Speaker A 00:29:36 Jesus is explaining in the Book of Mark about the sower sowing the Word. Speaker A 00:29:42 Now you see, the word of God, the written word of God is a copy of the words that God has already used to release his faith. Speaker A 00:29:59 Not one word in that Bible that God ever released without faith in it. Speaker A 00:30:03 Because to operate without faith is sin. Speaker A 00:30:06 That's what the Bible says. Speaker A 00:30:09 God has never released empty, inoperative, faithless word in all of his existence, brother, because he don't mess around with words. Speaker A 00:30:19 And this Bible, you see, this word is a living thing, sharper than any two edged sword. Speaker A 00:30:27 The reason it's alive is because it's filled with the life that's on the inside of God, which is labeled faith. Speaker A 00:30:35 Now, when you were born again, what happened to you? Speaker A 00:30:39 God, the Bible says, imparted life to you. Speaker A 00:30:45 Now isn't that what the Word said? Speaker A 00:30:47 I mean, doesn't it say that's what happened to you? Speaker A 00:30:48 Eternal life, Eternal life was imparted to you. Speaker A 00:30:54 Whosoever believeth on him shall not perish, but have eternal life. Speaker A 00:30:59 Well, eternal life is more than just a state of existence in heaven. Speaker A 00:31:03 Eternal life is the faith force of God. Speaker A 00:31:05 And the Bible said it is by faith that you are saved. Speaker A 00:31:08 That eternal life, that thing from the inside of God was imparted inside you and it killed that old dead spirit and created a new one in there. Speaker A 00:31:21 The Bible said, any man that is in Christ is a new creature. Speaker A 00:31:24 Old things have passed away and behold, all things have become new and all things are of God. Speaker A 00:31:29 And that force of life is called faith. Speaker A 00:31:32 When it's released and it's creative, it'll create things according to the design that was inside the believer when it was released. Speaker A 00:31:45 Now, you know, some of you can't see it, but you can see that television thing going over there, that videotape machine, this little camera here picks up an image, you see, sends it down that cable, sticks it on that tape. Speaker A 00:32:01 Now, the way it gets on there is a number of electronic impulses of different signal links. Speaker A 00:32:10 They magnetically adhere to that tape. Speaker A 00:32:14 Now, as the tape then is played back around the heads of that thing, there is a receiver in that head that measures the length of those electronic impulses. Speaker A 00:32:27 It sends those impulses just exactly like the camera picked them up to start with, sends those impulses down a cable and reproduces it back there on another television set. Speaker A 00:32:41 And that television set back there picks up the same impulses and computes them, separates them and presents them in certain shapes and forms. Speaker A 00:32:52 And it comes out to be exactly the same shape and form that that camera picked up. Speaker A 00:32:56 Start with. Speaker A 00:32:57 Now, you can see that, can't you? Speaker A 00:33:00 All right, now, God. Speaker A 00:33:03 Well, don't argue with me. Speaker A 00:33:04 Bless God. Speaker A 00:33:05 Go to that back room back there and you can see it. Speaker A 00:33:11 Each one of those magnetic impulses is a different wavelength, you see. Speaker A 00:33:14 And that thing measures them. Speaker A 00:33:16 And when it reproduces them, it puts them all back in the same distance that they were, Produces an image. Speaker A 00:33:21 All right, God had an inner image, Took the words, in this case, magnetic impulses, the different words that framed that image and released them. Speaker A 00:33:39 Now, you and I as receivers, if we'll go to His Word, praise God and allow the Holy Spirit broadcast that image. Speaker A 00:33:48 Praise God. Speaker A 00:33:49 That word right there will produce the same image on the inside of you. Speaker A 00:33:53 That's in God. Speaker A 00:33:57 The Word says very clearly, that eye hath not seen, neither has ear heard, neither has entered into the heart of man what God has in store for those that love Him. Speaker A 00:34:06 But he hath revealed them unto us by His Spirit. Speaker A 00:34:11 Now, when God takes a shape or form on the inside of him, he releases the life force that will get outside himself and then reproduce that thing on the outside. Speaker A 00:34:24 If it is a physical thing, it will reproduce it. Speaker A 00:34:28 And did you know that the Bible says that every one of our members is written down? Speaker A 00:34:34 Every member of your body is written down. Speaker A 00:34:36 Jesus said the hairs on your head are numbered. Speaker A 00:34:39 And God's archive does not have you written down. Speaker A 00:34:43 With one leg three and a half inches shorter than the other one, God's heavenly image of your body is perfect. Speaker A 00:34:55 And the stripes that were laid on Jesus satisfied and bore the right for Satan to inflict and disease the body of a man. Speaker A 00:35:13 Now, if you'll go to the Word of God and meditate in it and listen to it and let it be built, plant the seed and let it build on the inside of you. Speaker A 00:35:27 You can find out inside your heart from the Word of God what that perfection picture is in the archives of heaven of every member of your body and every malfunctioning part of your body can either be healed or replaced if necessary. Speaker A 00:35:48 If you'll allow that broadcaster, the Holy Spirit, and you be the receiver. Speaker A 00:35:55 Now, some of you going around just like you know, if you walked in there and turned on your television set and there wasn't any picture on it, first thing you'd do is tune it and still wasn't any picture on it. Speaker A 00:36:07 Would you go pick up the telephone and go call a TV station and say, you boys not putting out. Speaker A 00:36:17 You guys ain't broadcasting anything. Speaker A 00:36:19 How do you know? Speaker A 00:36:21 Cause I'm not getting nothing on my set. Speaker A 00:36:23 That's just as stupid as a fellow going around saying, God, don't ever speak to me. Speaker A 00:36:30 God won't heal me. Speaker A 00:36:33 I can't see how. Speaker A 00:36:35 Whoa. Speaker A 00:36:36 Now you told us the truth. Speaker A 00:36:38 You can't see it. Speaker A 00:36:41 Don't blame it on God. Speaker A 00:36:42 Cause you're out of tune or your tubes is shot. Speaker A 00:36:48 Nothing wrong with the broadcaster. Speaker A 00:36:49 It's a receiver that's out of line. Speaker A 00:36:53 And if you go to His Word. Speaker A 00:36:55 If you go to His Word, go to His Word, put His Word first, place, absolute final authority in your life and meditate in it and allow it to build the picture of that healing down here in your heart. Speaker A 00:37:08 Then I'll guarantee you no demon in hell is big enough to reside and stay on your body and cause the thing to be crippled and decrepit and no way, not after Jesus paid the price. Speaker A 00:37:18 Now, Jesus has given us five things in the fourth chapter of Mark that will destroy the inner image that God has in him. Speaker A 00:37:28 It won't destroy it in him, but it'll destroy that image in us. Speaker A 00:37:32 Now, what God has been doing, you see, and the reason he sent the Holy Spirit, was to reveal the Word. Speaker A 00:37:37 Jesus said when the spirit of truth is come, he'll lead and guide us into all the truth. Speaker A 00:37:43 All right? Speaker A 00:37:43 These five things that Jesus lists here will choke the word. Speaker A 00:37:48 It'll stop it from producing its inner image. Speaker A 00:37:51 Now, you know good and well as I do that like I've said every message I've preached to you on this, we don't think in words. Speaker A 00:37:58 We think in pictures. Speaker A 00:38:01 And do you remember what Jesus said as a man? Speaker A 00:38:04 Thinketh in his heart, so is he. Speaker A 00:38:07 Whatever the inner image is in your spirit, man, you're producing it. Speaker A 00:38:12 Just as fast as you can live 24 hours a day, you're producing it. Speaker A 00:38:17 Your inner image in you is sickness and disease. Speaker A 00:38:20 You better go lay down. Speaker A 00:38:23 Your inner image in you is strapped and belittled to the job that you have. Speaker A 00:38:28 Then that's as far as God can meet your needs. Speaker A 00:38:32 Your inner image in you is one of failure, disaster, unbelief. Speaker A 00:38:36 And God won't help and do nothing for poor old me, then that's exactly what you're producing. Speaker A 00:38:43 If the Bible teaches anything from Genesis to Revelation, that's what it teaches. Speaker A 00:38:47 That a man by his own will and the inner image in his heart, as he thinketh in his heart, so is he. Speaker A 00:38:53 And what he decides and the decisions that he makes of quality, that's what he produces. Speaker A 00:38:59 And a man has a right to choose his own destiny. Speaker A 00:39:02 God's not making anybody go to hell, and he's not making anybody go to heaven. Speaker A 00:39:08 Men had to go to hell until Jesus broke the authority over Satan. Speaker A 00:39:13 The Bible said hell was created for Satan and his angels and he's taking men there with them. Speaker A 00:39:18 But I'll tell you what, old partner, you can go to hell if you want to. Speaker A 00:39:21 But you're a fool if you do. Speaker A 00:39:23 Because you don't have to, boy. Speaker A 00:39:25 There's a way out. Speaker A 00:39:27 Jesus said, I'm the way. Speaker A 00:39:29 Praise the Lord. Speaker A 00:39:31 Now then, look at these five things. Speaker A 00:39:34 Verse 14. Speaker A 00:39:34 The sower soweth the word. Speaker A 00:39:37 These are they by the way side where the Word is sown. Speaker A 00:39:39 But when they have heard, Satan cometh immediately and taketh away the word that was sown in their hearts. Speaker A 00:39:44 These are they likewise which are sown on stony ground, who, when they have heard the Word, immediately receive it with gladness, have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time afterward. Speaker A 00:39:57 When affliction or persecution ariseth for the Word's sake, immediately they are offended. Speaker A 00:40:05 These are they which are sown among thorns, such as hear the word, the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches and the lusts of other things entering in. Speaker A 00:40:14 Choke the word and it becomes unfruitful. Speaker A 00:40:18 Now there are the five things afflict, Affliction, persecution, cares of this world, deceitfulness of riches, lusts of other things entering in. Speaker A 00:40:29 Choke the word. Speaker A 00:40:30 Now, what Satan's attempting to do, you see, is stop that inner image of success, healing, salvation, anything he can before it comes to a productive state. Speaker A 00:40:43 Do you know the quickest way to stop the picture back in the fellowship hall. Speaker A 00:40:51 The quickest way would be unplug the camera. Speaker A 00:40:57 The quickest way would not be jump up from where Ron's sitting over there and run back there and turn each one of those TV sets off. Speaker A 00:41:03 The quickest way would be unplug the camera, go to the source of the image. Speaker A 00:41:10 The Word is the source of the image. Speaker A 00:41:13 Now, the Word did its job, and that camera will do its job till somebody unplugs it. Speaker A 00:41:20 The Word did its job. Speaker A 00:41:21 The Bible said, satan cometh immediately to take the Word out of their hearts. Speaker A 00:41:25 The Word got in their hearts. Speaker A 00:41:26 It did its job. Speaker A 00:41:27 It went in the heart. Speaker A 00:41:28 But if you'll go on down a little bit, you'll find out why it didn't produce any quicker than it did. Speaker A 00:41:34 Now. Speaker A 00:41:34 Jesus said on down here in the. Speaker A 00:41:39 Oh, look at the 26th verse. Speaker A 00:41:41 He said, so is the kingdom of God. Speaker A 00:41:43 As if a man should cast seed into the ground, should sleep, rise night and day, the seed should spring up and grow up. Speaker A 00:41:52 He knoweth not how. Speaker A 00:41:53 For the earth bringeth forth fruit of herself. Speaker A 00:41:56 First the blade, then the ear, after that, the full corn in the ear. Speaker A 00:42:00 But when the fruit is brought forth, immediately he puts in the sickle, because the harvest is come. Speaker A 00:42:06 Now, you see, he said, this thing goes in and is planted like a seed. Speaker A 00:42:10 If we learn how to meditate in the word of God and give the seed an opportunity to begin to grow, at first you have a stalk, and then it'll grow an ear, and then it'll be green corn. Speaker A 00:42:22 Don't pick it now. Speaker A 00:42:24 Don't jump up and slam your glasses up against a wall. Speaker A 00:42:28 Go dump your medicine down the toilet, you know, and come in the next day with the shakes and scared right out of your gourd. Speaker A 00:42:35 Something going to happen to you. Speaker A 00:42:39 You don't get healed by what you throw away. Speaker A 00:42:44 You get healed because you believe God. Speaker A 00:42:47 Jesus said, whatsoever thing you desire when you pray, believe you receive it and you shall have it. Speaker A 00:42:53 That's the key to it. Speaker A 00:42:54 Believing that you receive it. Speaker A 00:42:55 It's not cause you come to church 36 times a week now, coming to church 36 times a week, may it be the very thing that it takes to make the seed grow. Speaker A 00:43:05 But that's not the reason. Speaker A 00:43:06 God's going to heal you because you're faithful to the church. Speaker A 00:43:08 And he's certainly not going to heal you because you're not faithful to your church. Speaker A 00:43:13 Not going to heal you because you're ugly. Speaker A 00:43:16 But he's not going to heal you cause you're Good. Speaker A 00:43:17 You know that your conduct is not what's impressing God. Speaker A 00:43:21 It's the releasing of faith that will get the job done. Speaker A 00:43:25 It's believing prayer. Speaker A 00:43:26 A lot of people like to pray hard. Speaker A 00:43:29 The strength of a prayer is not in the volume in which it was prayed. Speaker A 00:43:34 The strength of the prayer is the amount of faith that's in the words when they're released. Speaker A 00:43:39 And in the name of Jesus of Nazareth, that Jesus name, brother, if you want to know what puts the prayer over, that's what it is. Speaker A 00:43:46 And the faith that is in it is what causes the thing to operate. Speaker A 00:43:49 Now that a lot of people see praying for faith. Speaker A 00:43:51 Well, prayer doesn't make faith work. Speaker A 00:43:53 Faith makes prayer work. Speaker A 00:43:55 Faith cometh by hearing, hearing by the word of God. Speaker A 00:43:57 As you go to God's word, that holds faith, it has faith in it. Speaker A 00:44:01 You go in there and you begin to water that seed in there. Speaker A 00:44:04 You plant the seed concerning healing, that's what you're after. Speaker A 00:44:07 And then you begin to meditate. Speaker A 00:44:08 Those, those passages of scripture that give that healing to you. Speaker A 00:44:11 And you think about them, think about them, think about them, talk about them, talk about them, think about them, think about them, talk about. Speaker A 00:44:16 You don't go on talking sickness and disease. Speaker A 00:44:21 That's like a fellow going out here and planting a seed, you know, and then and going out there every day and said, I sure oughta planted cotton. Speaker A 00:44:33 I'm going to dig that. Speaker A 00:44:35 I'm going to dig that wheat up, I'm going to plant cotton and dig that seed up out of the ground. Speaker A 00:44:42 And then you can't figure out how come you ain't got a wheat crop. Speaker A 00:44:45 You don't do that. Speaker A 00:44:46 You plant the thing in there and then water it and expect it to grow. Speaker A 00:44:49 Now, any dumb, dumb nosey, you put the seed in the ground, it'll grow if the ground's any good and the seed's any good. Speaker A 00:44:58 But you know what? Speaker A 00:44:59 Any farmer that's got good sense also knows if he leaves the seed laying up on the shelf or in a sack in the barn, you can forget it next spring. Speaker A 00:45:12 That's just the law of the game, brother. Speaker A 00:45:15 You don't put it in the ground, it won't grow. Speaker A 00:45:16 Isn't that right? Speaker A 00:45:17 Now you can leave the Bible, lay it on the shelf and, you know, hug it every once in a while, put it in a glass case, get you one of them old Big un's, great big un, you know about that. Speaker A 00:45:33 Big hug it and polish won't do a thing in the world. Speaker A 00:45:39 I've seen people getting Mad because I wrote in my Bible, sacrilegious. Speaker A 00:45:45 That's exactly what it was. Speaker A 00:45:50 And that religion is what's caused people, you know, scream and holler like that when you do something like that. Speaker A 00:45:56 I wear one of these things out. Speaker A 00:45:57 I finally got one here. Speaker A 00:45:58 It lasted me a couple of years. Speaker A 00:46:00 But I tell you, it's about gone. Speaker A 00:46:02 Praise God. Speaker A 00:46:03 And I got 36 more of them waiting at home in line ready for service. Speaker A 00:46:10 I heard about guys that got a revelation to go buy blankets. Speaker A 00:46:14 Cause we're going to have cold weather. Speaker A 00:46:16 And other guys is buying kerosene and putting it in the basement. Speaker A 00:46:19 Cause one of these days we're going to have a famine of some kind. Speaker A 00:46:25 Well, I'm ready for it. Speaker A 00:46:26 I got 46 Bibles. Speaker A 00:46:31 I don't know, you know, the Bible says there's a famine of the word of God in the land, brother. Speaker A 00:46:36 And I'm Joseph. Speaker A 00:46:37 I got a barn full of them. Speaker A 00:46:38 Praise the Lord. Speaker A 00:46:40 That is so hard. Speaker A 00:46:41 I never thought until right then how come God sent me some indie Bibles. Speaker A 00:46:45 But I'm sure glad he did. Speaker A 00:46:46 And I'll tell you what. Speaker A 00:46:46 Any of you got one you won't give me, I know I'll turn it down. Speaker A 00:46:49 I like every one of them I ever saw. Speaker A 00:46:52 But it is not something that you just lay down. Speaker A 00:46:56 Listen, this thing will take whatever you put on it, brother. Speaker A 00:47:01 It'll stand up under it. Speaker A 00:47:03 You can't overdo it. Speaker A 00:47:05 You can't bend it till it breaks. Speaker A 00:47:07 God's word will stay up under you. Speaker A 00:47:09 Amen. Speaker A 00:47:10 Now then, we begin to meditate in this thing, you see? Speaker A 00:47:14 And allow that inner image of what God has said. Speaker A 00:47:19 You are in Christ. Speaker A 00:47:20 What God has said. Speaker A 00:47:22 Christ is in you. Speaker A 00:47:23 I found out from the Word I'd been made the righteousness of God. Speaker A 00:47:27 But the force of righteousness wasn't working in my life. Speaker A 00:47:29 Even though I was the righteousness of God. Speaker A 00:47:31 Because I didn't have any image of old, ugly me ever being the righteousness of God. Speaker A 00:47:35 I figured God whooped me every once in a while. Speaker A 00:47:37 Even after I got to heaven, you know. Speaker A 00:47:40 I mean, that's the kind of immature attitude I had in there. Speaker A 00:47:42 I wouldn't have admitted that with my mouth, but that's the kind of attitude I had. Speaker A 00:47:46 But I found out from His Word, I'm the righteousness of God. Speaker A 00:47:49 So I humbled myself before it. Speaker A 00:47:51 I said, I don't see how in the world I could ever be the righteousness of God. Speaker A 00:47:54 But your word says I am. Speaker A 00:47:56 I must be. Speaker A 00:47:57 I humbled myself before it and got on my knees and stayed there. Speaker A 00:48:01 The first time I ever prayed over that, I must have stayed. Speaker A 00:48:03 Oh, I don't. Speaker A 00:48:04 I don't remember. Speaker A 00:48:04 Not two or three hours. Speaker A 00:48:06 And I began to search it out and look for Scriptures. Speaker A 00:48:09 And it said it all over the Bible. Speaker A 00:48:11 He who knew no sin was made to be sin for us, that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. Speaker A 00:48:16 It says, you know, by one man's offense, death reign much more. Speaker A 00:48:19 They which receive the abundance of the free gift of grace and righteousness shall reign in life by one Jesus Christ. Speaker A 00:48:27 Well, I began to find all kinds of good stuff about that. Speaker A 00:48:30 See, well, that's talking about me. Speaker A 00:48:31 And as I meditate on it and pray about it, I listened to tapes on it. Speaker A 00:48:36 I listened to the Bible tapes on it. Speaker A 00:48:38 Turn that word on. Speaker A 00:48:39 Praise God. Speaker A 00:48:41 Turn it on and let her play. Speaker A 00:48:42 Praise the Lord. Speaker A 00:48:43 Just let it feed you. Speaker A 00:48:44 Let it feed you and let it feed you. Speaker A 00:48:46 I found out that television, newspaper, and all of that was trying to kill me. Speaker A 00:48:50 So I turned on the words of life and it began to feed me. Speaker A 00:48:53 And, you know, after a while, that plant on the righteousness of God began to grow in there. Speaker A 00:48:58 I began to see on the inside of me, why was the righteousness of God, how I was the righteousness of God, why God would do it, what God's mind was thinking about when he did it, how he saw it. Speaker A 00:49:08 You see, when you're looking at the Word, you look at how God looks. Speaker A 00:49:12 And I began to see that, and it began to grow upon the inside of me. Speaker A 00:49:15 And I got to a place where I wasn't scared to talk to God. Speaker A 00:49:18 And, you know, I found out he wasn't afraid to talk to me. Speaker A 00:49:21 And I found out he'd been talking all the time. Speaker A 00:49:24 I had been too spiritually dense to hear him, but I found I had a breastplate of righteousness. Speaker A 00:49:30 And the thing finally got to where it felt like one of these days it was going to fit. Speaker A 00:49:35 And then I'd run across scriptures that said that, you know, the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous and his ears are open to their prayers. Speaker A 00:49:42 And I got to the point where it grew up on the inside of me, where I didn't question it anymore. Speaker A 00:49:47 I knew good, well, God's listening to what I had to say. Speaker A 00:49:51 Are you following this? Speaker A 00:49:52 You see what it'll do for you? Speaker A 00:49:54 Then I began to read, you know, about all the other different things that we are in Christ. Speaker A 00:49:58 I found over in the book of Ephesians one day and said in him, we have boldness. Speaker A 00:50:04 So I thought, well, from this day forward, I'm not going to be known as Mr. Speaker A 00:50:12 Compromise. Speaker A 00:50:14 And I got on my knee and I said, I found out I've been made boldness and in you I have boldness and I intend for that picture of the boldness. Speaker A 00:50:22 And then I heard these words jump out my mouth and I want you to know it really did a miracle of boldness on inside of me right that minute. Speaker A 00:50:30 I've never been able to get over it. Speaker A 00:50:33 I heard this, the boldness, praise God, that is in me and I have it. Speaker A 00:50:39 I believe that I receive it now. Speaker A 00:50:42 And I heard these words just jump out of me. Speaker A 00:50:44 The boldness line of the tribe of Judah. Speaker A 00:50:48 Woo hoo hoo. Speaker A 00:50:50 Glory to God. Speaker A 00:50:51 And then other scriptures begin to relate to that where it says, and your adversary as a lion roaring about seeking whom he may devour. Speaker A 00:51:00 He's a copycat to the lion. Speaker A 00:51:02 I'm the lion. Speaker A 00:51:06 Praise the Lord. Speaker A 00:51:07 I just had me a fit right there and just got mad. Speaker A 00:51:11 Grabbed my Bible and really tore into onto that little, that little house cap, trying to act like a lion. Speaker A 00:51:19 Never have had any trouble out of him since. Speaker A 00:51:23 Absolutely hadn't said he was running around as a lion seeking whom he may devour. Speaker A 00:51:28 He didn't say he's devouring whoever he wanted to. Speaker A 00:51:30 And I just let him know I was one of them. Speaker A 00:51:31 He wasn't going to devour, but I didn't have any revelation of that. Speaker A 00:51:36 I want you to know he scared the very liver out of me every time he come on the scene until I began to realize and this thing began to grow up in me. Speaker A 00:51:43 You see that I had boldness in Jesus now, not in myself, but in Jesus in him. Speaker A 00:51:48 I was strong in the Lord. Speaker A 00:51:51 This inner man has the capacity to receive from the insides of God because his creation was ordained and realized and began from the inside of God. Speaker A 00:52:06 God, the insides of you are the reflection of the insides of God. Speaker A 00:52:12 And if you'll open your heart and your mind to the Holy Spirit, he is the artist, the painter and the designer. Speaker A 00:52:19 And he will paint it and he will draw it and bring it to a place where it will produce not only in you, but to those that you open your mouth to and let it flow out. Speaker A 00:52:31 It will take seed and root in the life of the chiefest of sinners. Speaker A 00:52:36 Turn him into the saint of saints. Speaker A 00:52:39 Bone of his bone and spirit of his spirit. Speaker A 00:52:41 One with the Lord and do it right before your very own eyes. Speaker A 00:52:49 Glory to God. Speaker A 00:52:50 Praise the Lord. Speaker A 00:52:52 Praise the Lord. Speaker A 00:52:53 Praise the Lord, I tell you, I get turned on all this. Speaker A 00:52:57 Praise God. Speaker A 00:52:58 Now then, these five things, we don't have time right tonight to go through these things. Speaker A 00:53:03 But there's one thing that I want to show you now, and we'll close with this. Speaker A 00:53:08 Jesus has said that these five things will choke off the word. Speaker A 00:53:13 Now, in the 20th verse of the fourth chapter of Mark, these are they which are sown on good ground, such as hear the Word and receive it. Speaker A 00:53:27 They bring forth fruit some 30, some 60, some 100 fold, but they'll bear fruit. Speaker A 00:53:32 Now, there's two things there. Speaker A 00:53:33 Hear it, receive it. Speaker A 00:53:37 Now there I. Speaker A 00:53:39 I was praying about this this afternoon, and I said, lord, now there's a lot of different ways here to receive the word of God. Speaker A 00:53:47 But I said, you. Speaker A 00:53:48 You told me this afternoon, in fact, I just heard it while I was preaching it, that I was going to spend some time on this tonight and tell you how to do it. Speaker A 00:53:55 And I said, I know a lot of different ways. Speaker A 00:53:58 The Lord said, well, there are three basic ways, and they come in line the way the scripture teaches them. Speaker A 00:54:04 They come. Speaker A 00:54:04 There's three different ways. Speaker A 00:54:05 Number one is decision. Speaker A 00:54:06 Number two is confession, and number three is action. Speaker A 00:54:11 Now, you don't go into action without confession, and you don't go into confession without action. Speaker A 00:54:15 And you don't do either one of them without a decision. Speaker A 00:54:19 Now let's see that this is the word of God. Speaker A 00:54:22 Look over in the book of James. Speaker A 00:54:24 Let's turn over there right quick. Speaker A 00:54:25 The first chapter of James. Speaker A 00:54:30 James, chapter one, verse 22. Speaker A 00:54:33 But be ye doers of the Word, and not hearers, only deceiving your own selves. Speaker A 00:54:40 For if any be a hearer of the Word and not a doer, he's like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass. Speaker A 00:54:48 For he beholdeth himself, goeth his way straightway, forgetteth what manner of man he was, but whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed. Speaker A 00:55:04 If any man among you seem to be religious and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is in vain. Speaker A 00:55:12 What did he do to his own heart if he didn't bridle his tongue? Speaker A 00:55:17 Deceived it. Speaker A 00:55:19 In other words, he destroyed the image in his own heart, for he won't put his tongue line with what he's heard in the Word. Speaker A 00:55:26 Now, I've heard some of you do this. Speaker A 00:55:28 I've been guilty of it myself. Speaker A 00:55:29 I guess everybody has one time or another. Speaker A 00:55:31 Somebody will come along say, well the word of God says that. Speaker A 00:55:33 And they'll say, well I know, but you know, that don't work for me. Speaker A 00:55:38 Or come along, you know, and say, well, I'm believing God for my healing. Speaker A 00:55:45 And you can't imagine how bad this thing's hurting me, killing me. Speaker A 00:55:52 Or just something little simple it looks like. Speaker A 00:55:56 But use something like the word death to express yourself more than any other word in the English language. Speaker A 00:56:03 That's an abomination to God, particularly for a spirit filled Christian knows anything about the Bible. Speaker A 00:56:08 Go to doing that. Speaker A 00:56:09 Scared me to death, thrilled me to death, worried me to death, run me to death. Speaker A 00:56:15 I'm just dying to go. Speaker A 00:56:17 I'm only going to die if I don't. Speaker A 00:56:18 That's just a killing me. Speaker A 00:56:24 That's pretty serious. Speaker A 00:56:26 But you see, this man says a man won't bridle his tongue, has got his own heart deceived. Speaker A 00:56:31 Well brother, if I can bridle your tongue, got your heart deceived. Speaker A 00:56:35 There's not going to be any image of the Word of God in there. Speaker A 00:56:37 Every time God tries to do something, your old heart's deceived, it locks up, won't let it in there, see condemnation, everything else get in the way. Speaker A 00:56:45 Now let's take it in the manner in which it's laid out. Speaker A 00:56:48 First decision, then confession and then action. Speaker A 00:56:52 Now you remember Jesus said the man hears the Word and receives it. Speaker A 00:56:55 We're talking about how you receive the Word of God, how you make the plant, how to make the seed work and grow and produce until it comes up to some 30, some 60, some a hundredfold. Speaker A 00:57:07 Be ye doers of the Word not hearers, only deceiving your own selves. Speaker A 00:57:11 If a man is a hearer of the Word and not a doer, he's like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass. Speaker A 00:57:17 For he beholdeth himself and goes his way and straightway he forgets what manner of man he was. Speaker A 00:57:23 Now everybody in here looked in the mirror today one time or another. Speaker A 00:57:30 Can anybody tell me any of you men tell me how many whiskers you've got on the left side of your face? Speaker A 00:57:39 You tell me how many bumps on your face. Speaker A 00:57:41 Can you tell me which eyebrow is higher than the other one? Speaker A 00:57:45 Now you ladies spend hours and hours looking in that mirror. Speaker A 00:57:49 Distance you know, and I'm proud of you. Speaker A 00:57:51 Don't misunderstand me, you know, you good looking thing, I'm not knocking that a bit. Speaker A 00:58:01 What I am saying to you is this. Speaker A 00:58:03 I you know right now what the general outline of your face is. Speaker A 00:58:08 You know what you look like, but you cannot detail that to me. Speaker A 00:58:12 You can't turn around and tell me the details of your face. Speaker A 00:58:16 You know why you never did decide to in the first place. Speaker A 00:58:21 And that's what he's saying here. Speaker A 00:58:23 You see a man that looks in the mirror, a man that won't act on the word of God is a man that's never made any decision to do what his Bible said. Speaker A 00:58:31 And he's like a man that looks in a mirror. Speaker A 00:58:33 He walks away from it. Speaker A 00:58:34 He knows what the general outline of his face is, but he doesn't know any of the details because he's never made a decision of quality to find out what's on his face when he looked. Speaker A 00:58:46 It wasn't any purpose in it. Speaker A 00:58:48 Now, if you decided to find out and I asked you two weeks later, I dare say you could stop and tell me exactly what you found out the day you sat there and counted all those bumps and everything else because you made up your mind to do it. Speaker A 00:59:03 Now, people are this way when they read their Bible. Speaker A 00:59:07 They go to church and read the Bible, read the Bible, read the Bible, you know, but you get up and walk out that door. Speaker A 00:59:14 If you did not have a decision to act on that word and you got into a situation out here on the street where it would take the power of God to get you out, you can vaguely, you vaguely have a religious outline of the framework of the word of God, but how to skillfully use it as a sword in the midst to combat. Speaker A 00:59:34 You just don't know how. Speaker A 00:59:36 Why? Speaker A 00:59:37 Because you never made a decision to find out. Speaker A 00:59:39 And right at that moment, it's too late, brother, to go try to read the New Testament and find out what to do now. Speaker A 00:59:48 Too late to get the mirror after your nose is gone. Speaker A 00:59:54 Isn't that true? Speaker A 00:59:56 Now when a man makes a quality decision, then there's no power in hell big enough to stop it from coming to pass. Speaker A 01:00:07 Now watch, because that's what he said. Speaker A 01:00:10 Whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty. Speaker A 01:00:15 When you've made a decision to be healed and remain so, then every time you look in the Bible concerning healing, you are looking into a perfect law being a perfect law. Speaker A 01:00:29 The reason it's a law is because it works. Speaker A 01:00:33 A perfect law of liberty. Speaker A 01:00:39 Ye shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free. Speaker A 01:00:45 Now you know what Jesus said right before he said that that's not the complete sentence to what he said. Speaker A 01:00:50 We've quoted that like that. Speaker A 01:00:51 Here's what he said. Speaker A 01:00:53 Continue ye in my word and you will be my disciples indeed. Speaker A 01:00:58 And you will know the truth and the truth will make you free. Speaker A 01:01:00 He said, continue in it. Speaker A 01:01:02 Put it first place in your life, allow it to build and work in you. Speaker A 01:01:05 And then he said, when you do that, then you will know the truth and the truth will make you free. Speaker A 01:01:09 And that's exactly what he said here. Speaker A 01:01:11 Whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty and continueth therein, he meditates in it, he stays in it, he patiently stands on it, regardless of what he can see and what he can feel and what he can taste, what he can smell. Speaker A 01:01:24 He doesn't care what circumstances say. Speaker A 01:01:26 Praise God. Speaker A 01:01:27 This is what the Word says. Speaker A 01:01:28 And if they're both opposite and I have to take a choice, I'm going to take the word of God. Speaker A 01:01:32 And when he makes that decision, then he's looking into the perfect law of liberty every time he opens his Bible. Speaker A 01:01:38 Amen. Speaker A 01:01:39 Now he says, when you do that, a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed. Speaker A 01:01:47 Now then, you remember that Jesus said in Mark 11:23, we've made a decision now to be healed. Speaker A 01:01:53 You made a decision to make Jesus Christ the Lord of your life. Speaker A 01:01:56 And there wasn't any devil in hell to keep the new birth from taking place in you. Speaker A 01:02:01 He might have fussed and hollered all the way, but you just kept headed toward the altar. Speaker A 01:02:07 You got down there, he just screaming and hollering, telling you you better not get mixed up at a bunch of holy Roller. Speaker A 01:02:12 You know, they all poor and broken dumb, and you just kept a headed down there. Speaker A 01:02:20 He said, you get messed up with that bunch, you know you'll never fly again. Speaker A 01:02:24 And I just kept headed on. Speaker A 01:02:27 And you know, all his bellyaching, hollering, screaming and fighting and promising me sincere doom didn't have one effect on it coming to pass. Speaker A 01:02:43 It worked because I made a decision to have it. Speaker A 01:02:48 Now I remember the decision I made to live in divine health. Speaker A 01:02:51 And that worked just as well too. Speaker A 01:02:53 Now I've had a lot of opportunities to be sick, but every time I'd go to my Bible, God would show me something in there to be delivered on. Speaker A 01:02:59 And just don't let the thing take hold in your body. Speaker A 01:03:02 It's the greatest way to live there ever was. Speaker A 01:03:05 We made the decision that our needs were met according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Speaker A 01:03:10 And thank God I found out Then that they were. Speaker A 01:03:16 Then came after the decision. Speaker A 01:03:21 Then came the confession. Speaker A 01:03:23 Jesus said, whosoever shall say unto the mountain, be removed, cast into the sea and not doubt in his heart. Speaker A 01:03:32 There's that in his heart thing again, the image of the mountain being removed. Speaker A 01:03:38 Then he shall have whatsoever he saith. Speaker A 01:03:41 Now, I've demonstrated this to you before. Speaker A 01:03:44 The Bible says, cast down imaginations and every high thing that exalteth itself against the word of God or the knowledge of God, bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ. Speaker A 01:03:56 The Bible says, diligently protect your heart, for out of it flow the forces of life. Speaker A 01:04:04 Diligently protect it. Speaker A 01:04:06 You know how to protect your heart. Speaker A 01:04:08 You cast down those imaginations that hit your head. Speaker A 01:04:12 Satan comes against you and says, the mountain isn't going to move. Speaker A 01:04:15 It isn't going to move. Speaker A 01:04:17 There's a bugabra over on the other side that won't let it go or some other thing like that. Speaker A 01:04:24 Well, if you go for that, you see, you'll allow it to choke off the word. Speaker A 01:04:28 Cause that would be one of the cares. Speaker A 01:04:30 You would have care about it. Speaker A 01:04:32 Worry about the mountain not moving. Speaker A 01:04:35 It won't no use in you worrying about it because they don't move as long as you're operating like that. Speaker A 01:04:41 Now watch this. Speaker A 01:04:44 The confession of the mouth. Speaker A 01:04:48 The man that bridles his tongue with the word has this privilege. Speaker A 01:04:55 Ron, start counting to yourself from 1 to 10. Speaker A 01:05:02 Now, out loud, tell me your name. Speaker A 01:05:07 I don't care what you do, you just tell me your name out loud. Speaker A 01:05:10 Or what happened to your counting? Speaker A 01:05:14 See, your head had to stop and see what your mouth had to say. Speaker A 01:05:20 There's only one possible way that you can talk and think at the same time without thinking what you're talking and that. Speaker A 01:05:31 Speak with other tongues. Speaker A 01:05:35 It's the only way you can do it. Speaker A 01:05:37 But when you do that, you've thrown your head into a neutral situation. Speaker A 01:05:42 I don't care what your head runs away with. Speaker A 01:05:44 The Bible said, when you're speaking with other tongues, the mind is unfruitful. Speaker A 01:05:49 So your head ain't gonna bear fruit anyway if you just stay in tongues. Speaker A 01:05:54 See, now Satan come along and tell you there ain't no use in you doing that. Speaker A 01:05:58 You're not thinking about what you're doing anyway. Speaker A 01:06:01 And you bought that? Speaker A 01:06:03 I did too, until I found that scripture one day. Speaker A 01:06:06 I said, well, it says here my mind's unfruitful anyhow. Speaker A 01:06:09 I said, you can just play with my brain if you want to. Speaker A 01:06:11 It ain't doing anything right now. Speaker A 01:06:12 Anyhow, I'll just go. Speaker A 01:06:13 I'll just go ahead and pray in the Spirit and. Speaker A 01:06:18 I found out it worked. Speaker A 01:06:20 I found out it worked. Speaker A 01:06:24 So now as I begin to confess the word, as I begin to put my mouth to the word, I've made a decision that it will be manifest in my life, that I will have it. Speaker A 01:06:37 As I begin to confess it over and over and over and over, it begins to build that inner image of the Word of God producing in me. Speaker A 01:06:50 Then comes the action. Speaker A 01:06:53 Now you're there in James, he said, be a doer of the Word. Speaker A 01:06:55 But now go on over here in the second chapter. Speaker A 01:06:57 Let me show you something. Speaker A 01:06:58 The 17th verse. Speaker A 01:07:00 Even so, faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. Speaker A 01:07:04 Yea, a man may say, thou hast faith. Speaker A 01:07:07 I have works. Speaker A 01:07:07 Show me thy faith without thy works. Speaker A 01:07:09 I'll show you my faith by my work. Speaker A 01:07:12 Now, what actually the Greek text there says, faith without corresponding action to the faith. Speaker A 01:07:17 Now you've made a decision. Speaker A 01:07:19 You have opened your mouth. Speaker A 01:07:21 When you opened your mouth, you released the faith. Speaker A 01:07:25 All right, now you need to put your actions in line with what's come out of your mouth. Speaker A 01:07:31 You can't release out of your mouth faith and the word of God and then turn right around and say, yes, but I don't have it. Speaker A 01:07:40 You can't. Speaker A 01:07:41 And then go act sicker than you ever did. Speaker A 01:07:43 You just can't do that. Speaker A 01:07:45 You're going to have to line up everything. Speaker A 01:07:46 You have to line up spirit, soul, body, action, everything going in line with the word of God in order for the plant to produce. Speaker A 01:07:57 Now read what he says. Speaker A 01:07:59 Thou believest that there is one God. Speaker A 01:08:00 Thou doest well, the devils also believe and tremble. Speaker A 01:08:03 But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead? Speaker A 01:08:06 You can go around and talk about believing in God if you want to, but until you put it to action, it won't mean anything. Speaker A 01:08:11 Because the devil believes in God. Speaker A 01:08:14 See, believing demands action. Speaker A 01:08:16 Believing is an action word. Speaker A 01:08:18 Somebody says a building's on fire, everybody believes it'll get out. Speaker A 01:08:24 Everybody in here can believe that there's fire. Speaker A 01:08:27 And it hasn't have any relative position to us either way. Speaker A 01:08:30 But when somebody believes this building's on fire, that's something different. Speaker A 01:08:35 That brings it to home. Speaker A 01:08:36 That calls for action. Speaker A 01:08:37 Somebody's got to do something then. Speaker A 01:08:39 Now, this is what he's talking about. Speaker A 01:08:40 Was not Abraham our Father justified by works when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar? Speaker A 01:08:45 Seest thou how faith wrought with his works? Speaker A 01:08:47 And by works, faith was made perfect Now, I found in the Amplified Bible right there, it says, action brought his faith to completion. Speaker A 01:08:57 It brought the faith. Speaker A 01:08:59 His action brought the faith into a physical manifestation. Speaker A 01:09:05 Something you could actually see right at that time. Speaker A 01:09:08 See, we're dealing with something that has not happened yet. Speaker A 01:09:14 We're dealing with things that have not yet come to pass when you're dealing with the word of God. Speaker A 01:09:20 If I'm going into the word of God and I'm reaching out into the unreal world of hope, I hope to be healed. Speaker A 01:09:27 I hope to have my bills paid. Speaker A 01:09:29 I hope to do this. Speaker A 01:09:30 I hope to do the will of God. Speaker A 01:09:32 I hope to do my job right. Speaker A 01:09:34 And there's a song I'm fixing to record next week that there's a line in it that said, I long to bow down to the feet of my Jesus and hear him say, well done. Speaker A 01:09:44 Boy, that line really grabbed me because that is on the inside of me. Speaker A 01:09:48 Well, you know, I hoped that. Speaker A 01:09:50 I hoped to fulfill his will even back before I had any idea I ever could. Speaker A 01:09:56 But there wasn't any reality in that hope. Speaker A 01:09:59 But now know good and well, by the spirit of God within me, I will fulfill his will. Speaker A 01:10:08 I'm not hoping about it. Speaker A 01:10:09 See, somebody said, well, how could you say that? Speaker A 01:10:11 Because I got confidence in the spirit of God within me, that's how. Speaker A 01:10:14 And I have a picture of that will in me. Speaker A 01:10:16 I know where I'm headed now. Speaker A 01:10:18 I remember the day I made a decision in the line with that. Speaker A 01:10:21 And the decision was like this. Speaker A 01:10:23 For a long time. Speaker A 01:10:24 I was confessing this, well, I'm going to do whatever I can. Speaker A 01:10:30 That didn't sound bad until I heard the real thing. Speaker A 01:10:35 And you know what? Speaker A 01:10:36 I had to change my confession to I'm going to do whatever is necessary. Speaker A 01:10:43 See the difference? Speaker A 01:10:44 Not, I'm going to do whatever I can. Speaker A 01:10:46 Because if I ran into an impossibility, that's when I quit. Speaker A 01:10:49 And I found out now that when I run into an impossibility, that's when I excel with God. Speaker A 01:10:57 So I decided it's going to do whatever necessary. Speaker A 01:10:59 If it took miracles to do it, that's his job. Speaker A 01:11:01 I'm just a believer, but I'm going to do whatever's necessary. Speaker A 01:11:06 All right, I'll close this off like this. Speaker A 01:11:13 I must put my action in line, my confession in line with my decision, in line with the Word. Speaker A 01:11:29 And it'll produce. Speaker A 01:11:31 Hold it there and it'll produce. Speaker A 01:11:33 Keep it there and it'll produce. Speaker A 01:11:35 Work it there and it'll produce. Speaker A 01:11:38 Operate it there and it'll produce. Speaker A 01:11:40 It becomes the perfect law of liberty. Speaker A 01:11:45 I reach out into the unreal world of hope with the substance of faith. Speaker A 01:11:52 I take the picture, the image that God has planted in me from his word and open my mouth and sling those faith filled words out into that unreal world of hope. Speaker A 01:12:05 And now it's not hope out there, praise God, it's faith. Speaker A 01:12:08 And faith is the substance of things. Speaker A 01:12:10 Hope. Speaker A 01:12:10 For now there's some substance out there working, praise the Lord. Speaker A 01:12:14 And now I'm going to put my action and, and my mouth and everything else in line with it. Speaker A 01:12:19 I'm going to prepare to succeed, not prepare to fail. Speaker A 01:12:23 Not prepare to fail. Speaker A 01:12:25 You know, God didn't come down here and with a first aid kit in his hand and prepare to Dr. Speaker A 01:12:31 Old Adam because he's afraid he might have got sick before he could get to him. Speaker A 01:12:34 You know, he wasn't prepared to fail. Speaker A 01:12:36 In fact there wasn't even anything down here that was ready for him to sin. Speaker A 01:12:42 God is prepared to win brother, all the way. Speaker A 01:12:45 And you know he did. Speaker A 01:12:47 In spite of all the devil could do, he still won. Speaker A 01:12:50 He still won somebody. Speaker A 01:12:52 Do you ever have any failures? Speaker A 01:12:54 No. Speaker A 01:12:55 Now I had a lot of opportunities, a lot of places I could have stopped and said this is a failure. Speaker A 01:13:02 But we, I learned not to play nine inning games. Speaker A 01:13:06 We played, lie, win, just stay in there, bless God. Speaker A 01:13:13 I was believing for a car one time by a certain certain date that date came and went and I wasn't even closer to it and I wasn't going to start believing for it. Speaker A 01:13:20 And I had mopey mother grubbing around there cause I didn't get it on the day I was believing. Speaker A 01:13:25 And I thought well you know what, I believe just as much today as I did yesterday. Speaker A 01:13:29 Yesterday. Speaker A 01:13:32 And I thought who was it said that? Speaker A 01:13:36 I couldn't believe for that on the 15th of the month just cause it's the 17th. Speaker A 01:13:44 The devil said you can't do that. Speaker A 01:13:46 I said, I'm fixing too. Speaker A 01:13:50 I said, I'll tell you what I believe. Speaker A 01:13:52 I received my automobile on the fifth day of October. Speaker A 01:13:55 He said, you can't do that. Speaker A 01:13:57 I said, I just did. Speaker A 01:14:02 I just kept on confessing it. Speaker A 01:14:04 He said, you're the dumbest, stupidest fellow I ever heard in my life. Speaker A 01:14:08 Said here it is the 22nd day of the month and you still confessing on the 15th. Speaker A 01:14:13 I said, that's when I'm ready to receive it. Speaker A 01:14:15 As far as I'm concerned, it's mine on the 15th day of the month, 15th day of October. Speaker A 01:14:20 He said, you can't do that. Speaker A 01:14:22 I said, since when did you ever play fair, you rat Jew? Speaker A 01:14:27 I said, that car's mine. Speaker A 01:14:30 I'm still believing for it. Speaker A 01:14:31 The word doesn't read any different than it did on the 14th or the 15th. Speaker A 01:14:35 Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever. Speaker A 01:14:37 What does that calendar have to do with it anyhow? Speaker A 01:14:40 So I just stayed in there on it, and a few days later I had it and was riding in it. Speaker A 01:14:44 And I said, well, bless God. Speaker A 01:14:45 I did do it, didn't I? Speaker A 01:14:46 He said, you didn't get it on the 15th. Speaker A 01:14:48 I said, well, what difference does that make? Speaker A 01:14:50 I got it. Speaker A 01:14:53 I didn't say I had it on the 15th. Speaker A 01:14:55 I said, I believe I receive it on the 15th day of the month and I refuse to let go of it. Speaker A 01:15:00 And you know, he never has but me, on that sense he knows. Speaker A 01:15:05 I don't know. Speaker A 01:15:06 I can't. Speaker A 01:15:13 Well, you better stand on your feet. Speaker A 01:15:15 I just thought of another sermon. Speaker A 01:15:20 I may preach it tomorrow. Speaker A 01:15:23 I'll preach it to my wife tonight if she likes it. Speaker A 01:15:25 I'll preach it to you tomorrow. Speaker A 01:15:28 Praise the Lord. Speaker A 01:15:30 Oh, glory be to God. Speaker A 01:15:32 Did you get anything out of this tonight? Speaker A 01:15:36 Well, then lift your hand before God and let's make some confessions. Speaker A 01:15:39 Faith, Father, in the name of Jesus, Say it out loud. Speaker A 01:15:45 I'm a believer, not a doubter. Speaker A 01:15:48 I'm a vehicle of the word of God. Speaker A 01:15:52 I make a decision before God and man. Speaker A 01:15:57 What I see in your word, I commit myself to. Speaker A 01:16:01 Do it as I see it and understand it, I'll act upon it. Speaker A 01:16:09 I'll lend my spirit, my soul and my body toward it. Speaker A 01:16:16 And you will cause it to come to pass. Speaker A 01:16:20 Now I give you praise and thanksgiving. Speaker A 01:16:24 I honor you for your word. Speaker A 01:16:27 The blessings of the Lord are upon me. Speaker A 01:16:31 I thank my God for the Son, for the Spirit and for the body of Christ. Speaker A 01:16:40 And in the name of Jesus, I have the victory. Speaker A 01:16:45 I can see it now through the eye of my faith. Speaker A 01:16:50 I have it. Speaker A 01:16:52 The victory's mine. Speaker A 01:16:54 I have it. Speaker A 01:16:55 Now the name of Jesus. Speaker A 01:16:59 Now begin to praise God and thank him for it. Speaker A 01:17:04 Oh, praise God.
