Speaker A 00:00:00 I want you to open your Bibles first of all tonight to the book of Genesis. And let's refresh our thinking concerning God's Word. I began speaking to you last night on the integrity of the Word of God. And I want to remind you of a couple of facts before we go into what the Lord has given me to share with you tonight some of the other things that the Lord has taught me concerning the integrity of His Word. Verse one of chapter one of Genesis. In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form and void and darkness was upon the face of the deep. Now look at this. The Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. Now the Spirit of God was moving upon the face of that water. He was moving on the face of that water. But evidently with very little effect. He was just merely on the move. Without the substance of God's faith, there was no creative power released. Faith filled words released the substance which the Spirit of God used to cause the world that we now know and this universe to come into existence. And God said, let there be light. And there was light. Now the Bible teaches us that the Spirit of God is moving. You don't ever find where the Bible said the Spirit of God sat down and went to sleep. The Spirit of God is moving. The Spirit of God is God's power. When you see God exercising power, you always see the Spirit of God on the scene. Jesus said, ye shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you. We can find it over in the book of Isaiah where Isaiah spoke about this creation. And he said, who has counseled the Spirit of the lord? In the 40th chapter of Isaiah, the 12th verse, he said, the Holy Spirit, God, the Holy Spirit took a drop of water and measured and weighed all of the water, all of the moisture in this universe with one drop. Then it said, he took the dust of the earth and he weighed the weight of all of the mountains in this planet. Then he set the thing into motion. But even after he had done the calculating, see, it was the Spirit of God that did all that. Even after he did all the calculating. Even after the Bible said he measured the spans of heavens with a span, he measured the thing out and fitted. He already knew exactly how he wanted this thing to operate. He didn't just say something and just kind of haphazardly sling it into existence. If you know anything about science, you know that there's not anything haphazard about this creation. It functions properly. It has a physical law and boundaries that function Properly. And we're learning more and more about that the longer mankind studies it. And we're finding out that it is even more. It is even more calculated and predetermined than even we ever thought it was in times past. The spirit of God. But nothing took place until God released force, a substance. The Bible says that this world was made out of. A substance that you can't see. Out of something that does not appear, something you can't see. The Bible says that it was done by the substance of faith. Hebrews, the 11th chapter, says, Faith is the substance of things hoped for. So you can see where God applied his faith in his words. Now, we found out from the Bible that words, the spiritual secret of words and the way God created words and gave man the right to use words are the fact that words are containers. My hand is a container of strength. There's strength in my physical body. I have eaten enough physical food, put it in my body. My body has assimilated it, distributed it in the rest of my body until my body has strength in it. That is a physical force that is produced by the physical man. My hand is a carrier of that strength. Now, I can stand out here for the rest of the evening and do that and never get a thing in the world done. In fact, I can expend all the strength in me and never get anything done until I apply that strength in this hand to the object. And in fact, that took a lot less effort than this. Did you follow me? What happened when God spoke? He applied faith. He directed it just as real as if he had put it in a gun and shot it. He applied it to the expanse that now is filled with this universe. He applied that faith. He released that faith. He applied it to the object in which he desired to come to pass. And the spirit of God took that faith, source, force, substance, and in 24 hours time created 16 billion miles of universe. That ain't bad day's work, is it? 186,000 miles a second. That's the speed of light. 24 hours, 16 billion miles. And thank God the speed of light has not slowed down a second since it's still going that fast. And this universe is still rocking and reeling under the blow of light beams. It was glory to God. Are you beginning to see the function? You begin to see how it worked? All right, now I don't understand how it worked physically. I don't need to know how I'd understand how it worked physically in order to use it. I didn't know until I was 25 years old. What put strength in the hand. I knew to eat and I knew how to use my hand, but I didn't know what did it. And I don't know but very little about it now. But now a medical doctor can tell you all about how it works. But I don't need that much information to move this desk. Now in the in spiritual affairs, those of us called into the ministry are in the position of the medical doctor and his calling. Physically, God teaches us and trains us how this thing works on the inside. You don't have to have that much information to get this thing to work. It's handy. But if you will take what we're teaching you by knowing this thing on the inside and take it to you and to use it on the inside of yourself, it will work just the same as your arm work. You can apply your own faith just as straight. Jesus said you can put it up against a mountain and the mountain will jump in the sea. He said you can use your faith just to mount a grain of mustard seed and jerk a tree up by its roots. But now somebody has. Somebody has to apply the faith to the mountain or the mountain won't move. Now you can sit out there by the mountain and squall and cry and bawl and carry on all you want to and kick the dirt, but the mountain won't move. No more than that desk will move by me just standing here waving at it. The faith has to be applied. And in order to know how to apply our faith, we need to learn how God applies his. We are created in his likeness, and it is his faith that we are privileged to use. And it is his creation that we're operating in. Praise God. And we're operating under our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. And we do honor to God when we study it. Now that's the reason we're going at this in the steps that we are. So we need to realize that God released faith in his words. He's never released a word of any kind in the heart of a man, in the mind of a man, in the presence of a man, or in the universe. Before there was a man without that word was filled with the force of faith. He is a faith God. He is a faith being. He is love. He has faith. Love is a faith being, being. Now that's important you do get home. Pray that out. Love is a faith being. Love is a person. You are born of God if you've made Jesus Christ the Lord of your life. First John, chapter five. The first Four verses state that you are born of love. God of love. Interchangeable. You're born of love. And the Bible says in the book of Galatians that faith worketh by love. Now I'm giving you some information that'll. That'll. All these things will tie up in a few minutes and you'll begin to see why God's sharing these things with us. God said. God said. God said. God said. God said. God said. Thus saith the Lord. Thus saith the Lord all over the Bible, in fact. This book does not contain the word of God. It is the word of God from the very first. The very first letter of it. I've seen people get healed on the footnotes. I mean it. Yes, sir. I'm not kidding you. It's the truth. One particular fellow I'm thinking about had a Bible, you know, that had. In fact, the thing was corrected. There wasn't hardly anything left in it. It was all footnotes. He got down here at the bond. They took out all that the Bible had to say about healing. Cause that's not for us. And they put it down here in little footnotes. You see, we believe this is gone, and we believe this is gone. And some manuscript we found didn't have that. And it kept right on, kept right on till his little old bitty Bible didn't say much up here, but the footnotes is just full. And so he's reading along, he found out that God meant what he said in his Word. And he's a delivered alcoholic. And there's another guy came in there that is about to die, cirrhosis of the liver. And he said, I want you guys to pray for me. And so they set the guy down in the chair, he opened up his Bible, and down in the footnotes of that Bible, it says, and they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. It wasn't up here in the Bible, down here in the footnotes, See? And they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. What you need to know, folks, is God has honored that word and it's full of his faith. Now, we've known that we had to apply our faith to connect with God. But we have forgotten, I think, a great deal of the time that those words, God has already filled them with his faith. They're already alive. The Bible says the word of God is a living thing. The King James translation says he's quick. That means alive. You pull your fingernail into the quick, you got it down in there where it's alive. That's the reason you said that you hit the live spot. That's the old English word, quick. It is alive and sharper than any two edged sword. So he said, lord, now you said that. Now he said, you said there lay hands on the sick. Well we've got that. There he is pointed over here at this fellow. They got him sitting in a chair, see. Said now there he is right there. There's the sick. No, this is out of the footnote. Now you see he said, you said lay hands on him and there's the hands. We got the hands and they shall recover. He said that looks to me like I don't leave nothing for you to do but recover him. So they just reached over there and laid hands on a bunch of ex drunks, laying hand on another drunk that's about to die of, you know, bad liver. And they laid hands on it and God healed him. God's word. Now actually what took place when they did that, they very simply acted on what God had already said. And that's what faith is. Now we've complicated the thing and, and we've done our best to, to theorize to the point till we got over into mental power. And when you get over into mental power, it isn't good enough. Mind power is not good enough. There's an evangelist on the radio right now selling mind power pretty strong. He's deceived. There is a power of the mind. It's called willpower. And it will work at certain times, but it isn't good enough. It's not the power of God. Mind power is a gift of God that's given to you to make your head work. You do have a mind. You're supposed to use it and it's supposed to be powerful. And you are supposed to have some personal judgment and some personal willpower. But that willpower is not what God gave you for your redeeming of your spirit, man. And that willpower is not what God gave you to move and live by faith and please God. Spiritual power is a power called faith. Now I'm going to take a moment and I'm going to share this with you and open your understanding to something that's very simple. It's what the Lord taught me to call the law of Genesis. The law of Genesis or the law of beginning. God used his faith coming from his nature, creating a world, a race on that world to receive from him by the same force of faith he gave Adam faith to rule this world and then gave him dominion over it, gave him the right in other words, to rule it and his faith with God's faith would produce. And here's the way the law of Genesis functions. The law that governs that faith and the world in which it came from, the world from which faith God or the world of the Spirit, God's world, what you and I know is heaven and wherever else God reigns. The laws that govern that faith became the laws of the beginning of this planet that you and I see. It's basic and it's simple and it still holds true. And one of those laws is this. When you put into motion by creative force or power, then every time that motion or force recreates, it always recreates the same thing again. You can't plant corn and get donuts. When you plant corn, it comes up corn, isn't that right? That's the law of Genesis in motion. When you plant peach seeds, bless God, you get peach trees. Now you can tamper around with the seed and change the seed, but you know what you get when you do the change? You get the change, don't you? You can graft two trees together, but when you graft a plum tree and a peach tree together, you don't get coconuts. You get the grafting. You get the results of the change. It's always the same. The law of Genesis. Now you are a spirit, you have a soul, and you live in a body you created like God. See, you are a spirit, you have a soul, and you live in a body. Now, the law of Genesis says that physical things live on physical things. The physical man eats with his mouth and sustains his life on physical food. Isn't that true? Everything you eat and the ground, the dirt that it grows in, which is what your body was made out of, all has the same mineral content. This thing came from dirt. The things that this body eats comes from dirt. Physical body eats physical food, alright? Now, the mental man eats mental or intellectual food. Isn't that true? So now if we follow the law of Genesis, we're going to have to realize that the spirit man eats spirit food. You can't stop in the middle of the road. We've had the tendency to do it, but you can't do it. That violates all Bible interpretation. In fact, it violates the laws of God to do that. You can't stop where you divide spirit and soul and body. You can't stop in between any of that and say, now that doesn't apply. That doesn't apply. No, that doesn't apply. You can't say the soul and the spirit are the same thing. Cause they're not, no more than you can say. The body and the spirit are the same. The soul and the spirit are not the same. The body and the spirit are not the same. The apostle Paul said, I pray God sanctify you wholly. All one piece. W H O L L Y wholly Spirit and soul and body. The word of God sharper than a two edged sword for the dividing of difference between the spirit and the soul and the joints and and the morrow and is a discerner of the thought and the intent of the heart. So the word of God does cover the whole spectrum of the law of Genesis or mankind, doesn't it? So now what does this spirit man eat? He eats spirit food. Jesus said, my words are spirit and they are life. Faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God. But now what happens when you feed on the word of God except you don't swallow it? One guy told me once, I never have been able to forget this. I was fighting that, the battle of the bulls, you know, and fighting that weight, trying to get that weight off. And I had a guy tell me one time, he said, I'll tell you the greatest diet in the world. Don't swallow anything. He said, you can eat anything you want, just don't swallow none of it. Well, I think some of you been trying to lose weight spiritually like that. You go at the table and you stuff a lot of God's word in you, but you never act on 10 cents worth of it. And it's all in your head. Somebody may call you a walking Bible. And all the time you see, God's word has been filled with faith. But faith is not a mental force. Faith is a spiritual force. Now follow me and I'll prove it to you. The physical man eats physical food and produces a physical power that's called strength. Will you amen to that? That's the truth, isn't it? You know that. So the intellectual man eats intellectual food. He devours or consumes intellectual food. He has to have intellectual food of some sort. A man that cannot get any information into his mind. He has five physical senses. For some reason or other. He's deaf, dumb and blind. He can't get any intellectual food in there. He is as same as an imbecile. Even though his mind is perfectly all right, he must have intellectual food. His mind must be exercised and it must feed on intellectual food. The mind eats mental food. The physical man eats physical food. And now you come to the spirit man. What happens when the mental man eats mental food? What does he produce? He produces a power, and it's called willpower. Willpower. Men that have strong willpower are men that use their intellect. Now, don't misunderstand me when I say use your intellect. A lot of people think just studying books is using your intellect, and that's not true. There are a lot of men that are educated beyond their intellectual, and they don't have any willpower. Most of them are, I don't know, men. I don't mean. The man stands up and honestly says, fella, I don't know. This is. The guy says, well, now, I don't know. He spent $46,000 in nine universities, professional student, and you tell him, well, God will heal you. Well, now, I don't know. I believe we've got a cure for cancer over in this field of medicine. Well, now, I don't know. He doesn't have any more willpower than a bucket, and not half is useful. Breathes up a lot of air that other people could be using and doing something with. I'll tell you, if you go back and study the history of medicine, you go back and study the history of aviation, you go back and study the history of chemistry, mechanics, you go back and study the history of metallurgy, you go back and study the history of all of the things that have done us any good at all and have been worth anything to mankind. The, I don't know, intellects are the ones that held it up for all these years. Now, honest men of research and honest men of. Of. Of strong mental ability to use the things that have been put in their minds and exercise that mind and use it are men that have said, I believe there's an answer to this thing, and we're going to find it. If it takes three lifetimes, we'll find it. And those kind of dedicated men are less than 2% among the population of men. There are 2% of the people that actually think. There's about another 10% that think they think and another 88% that could care less. They watch TV and follow whatever that other 12% says for them to do. I'm telling you the truth. I'm not talking off top of my hat. These are calculated figures that have been proven that it's true. So the physical man eats physical food, produces a physical power, and it's called strength. That's the name of it. The mental man eats mental food, exercises his mind mentally, and produces a mental power that's called willpower. The Spiritual man eats spiritual food and produces inside his spirit man what Peter called the hidden man of the heart, a spiritual force. And that force is called faith. It is a force spawned by the heart of God and it brought you into existence. See, the body was created out of the dust of the earth. But what created the heart of a man, of the spirit of man? That. That hulk that God held up there was a lifeless piece of bone and meat. Until what? Until God breathed the breath of life into him. He created the physical man out of the dirt of the earth and he created the spiritual man out of his own spirit spawned from the inside of God. And that's the reason once a man is reborn under Jesus his Lord, he is reborn into the very nature and the very likeness of Almighty God. And you feed that spirit man with God's word and he will produce that source, that substance in there that is the faith of God. But you starve him from God's word and, and he'll never grow. Even the milk of the word of God says, desire that milk and you'll grow thereby. Praise the Lord. All right, now follow me carefully realizing then that God has filled these words in this Bible with his faith. He put his faith in these words before he released them in the book of Deuteronomy. Once we've realized that, we begin to get some insight then on some of the things that some of these words say. We can see something then inside the words that God spoke in the 30th chapter of Deuteronomy. In the 19th verse, he said, I call heaven and earth to record this day against you that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing. Therefore you choose life that both you and your seed may live. Now we begin to see something. When God says, you choose life, do you mean to tell me that I can choose life? Now some of you have even had some of your children come up to you and said, I didn't ask to be born. I know one guy that his teenage son said that to him. He wished he hadn't. He said, I didn't ask to be born. His daddy said, if you had the answer, it have been no. Praise the Lord. But here God is telling us that we can choose life or death. I remind you of what the apostle Paul said. He said, to be spiritually minded is life. To be carnally minded is death. We can choose life or death. We have the God given right to choose life, life. And he said, I'm calling you to record. In other words, he said, I'm Letting the world know that it's not my fault if you go to hell and spend eternity in the. In the face and command of Satan. Not only in hell. It doesn't just work over on the other side of this life you and I are walking in now, this thing works. In this life. The Bible said we are to live by faith. Glory. You mean I can choose living while I'm alive? Yeah, that's what I've been trying to tell you for the last 30 minutes now. How do you choose life? I've already told you. Jesus said my words are life. There's life in those words. In the words, in the words that God has caused by his spirit to be put in this book. In these words. I mean literally inside the words. Now, they don't mean anything as long as the covers are closed on that book. A lot of people going around smooching the Bible. I don't do anything. Number one best seller in the last red. There's a lot of you out there that's doing the laughing right now. And you don't ever read your Bible. All you ever read is a little old snatch out of your quarterly on the way to Sunday school on Sunday morning. The key for you can make that X on the little envelope. Be fun if it wasn't something prophetic. This thing comes alive when it is picked up off those pages and acted upon. Just the same as if God pointed his finger at you and called you by your name and said, son, whatsoever thing you desire, when you pray, believe you receive it and he shall have it. It's got your name in front of that brother. That's when those words come alive. You see, God has already spoken them. And the law of Genesis says they work. And I don't care what the devil does or what anybody else does, they work. And when you act on them, when you move on them, they are living words and they are miraculous in their nature and they will bring life on the scene. And the Bible says when you operate this way that death is swallowed up of life. Glory to God. Did you ever see anybody try to put the light out with darkness? You can't do that. You can't go outside and get enough of that darkness in here to put these lights out. It don't work that way. Now you ding a ling, you may think you can and your church may teach that you can, but you can't do it. There's always some guy comes along, tries to prove that 2 times 2 is 5, but it isn't. When you get dealing with apples, it's four all the time. You know what that's called? The truth. There's no use to revise it. It's. So why? What is the definition of the truth? I got so amazed one day. You know all the colleges and universities, we're seeking the truth, looking for the truth. The Bible said, the truth's in Jesus. And I asked him one day, I said, how come you the truth? He said, cause I'm the same yesterday, today and forever. No change in me. He said, you can depend on me. And I work every time. He said, anything that works all the time. And every time, that's the truth, isn't it? We find in the laws of physics there are certain truths, certain axioms that are so. The law of gravity functions on certain laws. And it works, too. Praise God. That thing works all the time. Praise the Lord. Are you following what I'm saying to you? All right, now. Let's go another step with it. He said for us to choose life. He said, I've called you to record, and it's not my fault if you die because I've put before you both life and death, Cursing and blessing. You have the blessing and you have the cursing. It's your choice. Choose ye, therefore, life, that you and your seed may live. Now then he said, my words are life. Now, I want to come down to a thing that Jesus said in the 17th chapter of John. He said, sanctify them. Now he's praying. You see, Jesus is praying. He said, God, sanctify them with your truth. Now listen to him. Your word is truth. Now, Jesus knew what he's talking about. If ever was anybody intended to have his prayers answered, it is Jesus. And I believe he did. Don't you? So what we need to deal with is the answer to that prayer. Now listen to what he said. Sanctify or separate? Sanctify just merely means separate. Get the religion out of your head. Sanctify means separate. I don't care whether you're in church or down on first street to make a difference. Sanctify means separate unto. He said, God, separate them unto you with your word, he said, with your truth, your word is true. Said it all in one statement, John 17:17. So evidently God's word has the ability and is alive enough to actually separate. Now, we find that true in Hebrews, don't we? Fourth chapter. We say it again. That the word of God is a living thing and will divide us under the soul, the spirit, the joints and the mind. It will divide, divide, divide, separate, separate, now what does it have the power to separate us from or to, or how does it work? All right. We found out from God's word, if you ever read any of it at all, that Peter said, we are born again not by corruptible seed, but by incorruptible seed, the Word of God which lives and abides forever. James said, we are begat by the word of his truth. So evidently the Word of God separated us from Satan's authority and dominion. God's Word did that, Somebody said. I thought Jesus did that. Well, what is Jesus? He's called the living Word of God. It was the fact that he gave his word that he would do it. And when you acted on that word, it is as good as done. Why? Because of the integrity in that word. That's the point I've been wanting to bring you to all night long. The integrity of what God has said, whether it's on this paper or whether he speaks it into your heart or whether he spoke it by the mouth of a prophet. And then it was written down there, faith in those words. And it is there tonight, just the same as it was, however long ago, that it was delivered to the prophet. His Word is alive forever and is a living thing forever also. His Word separates us from our old inhabitant. Jesus said, you'll know the truth, and the truth will make you free. Now, I'm going to expound on these tomorrow night. Don't have time. Tonight, I'm going to take you into them, teach you everything that God's taught me about each step. The Word separates us from the kingdom of Satan. I want to show you how it does it. Then the next thing is the Word separates us from our old habitants, the old habits and the old life of the old kingdom, and teaches and trains us to walk in the likeness of our Lord and Savior, Jesus of Nazareth. And then the Word separates us from the unnecessary things unto God. Now, anytime you. Anytime you get unity, you're going to get some separation. Did you realize that if we had all of the Volkswagen drivers to stand up, well, then we would have united all the Volkswagen drivers, but we've separated them from everybody else. So now you see, the Word does this. The Word will separate a man from unnecessary things unto God, not only just from the devil, and not only just from the things that you know are sin. But. But how about the things that are not sin, but yet they're just not necessary when it comes to living for God. There's a lot of things on television that are not sin, but Brother, they are. When it gets to where you worship that thing and you ain't got time to do anything else and somebody tells me that they don't have time spending the word of God and the national average watching that tube is over six and a half hours a day. Don't tell me you don't have the time. You just lied to me. If anybody's got any time, we've got it. When it comes to studying the Word, as far as time itself is concerned, there's not any of it left. Praise the Lord. Now let me say this to you. The word of God is miraculous in its nature. Boy, I came out right even with that light, didn't I? Praise the Lord. I want you to stand up with me. Let's go before God with this. The Word of God is miraculous in its nature. Let me show you what I mean. If you took an eagle, let him go. What would be the most natural thing for him to do? Lay down, Go to sleep. No, fly. A man, his nature is to be a God. You give him half a chance and he'll lord it over somebody. And if he uses any other force but the. The love of God and the Holy Spirit, and I'll guarantee he's led by Satan. But it's his nature to be a Lord. The nature of God's word is miraculous. It is so alive that anything that has to do with death just has to get out of the way in the front of it. And when you release it, it's miraculous in its nature. It doesn't just lay down on the ground. It doesn't just go inside a man's ear. It does something down on the inside of a man. God's word does. Some of you got more faith generating in you right now than you've ever had in all of your life. And it didn't do that because of my preaching. It did it because it's God's words that are coming out my mouth. I'm expounding on the things that God has already said. You following what I'm saying to you? It's miraculous in its nature. Release it. God said, my word does not return to me void, but it will accomplish that which I please. It's miraculous in its nature. Let it go. Let it soar. Let it run around in your spirit. Don't turn your head off and say, well, now we haven't. War, war, war, war. Now, maybe we don't believe that. All this time you could have just said, shut up, head. That stuff is soul. And my inner man is having a feast on the word of God. And that word is miraculous in its nature. Make you free, separate you from the command of Satan. It'll separate you from the habit and of that world. And it'll separate you from the unnecessary things unto me, God. And the Bible says that God will make you the head, not the tail and set you up on a high place. He will exalt you. The Bible says you exalt his word and his wisdom will exalt you. We ought not exalt ourselves. Put the word of God first place in your life. She'll exalt you. Solomon knew that. He said, oh, it's finer than any merchandise of gold and silver. There's more market for it than there is money. It'll do for you what money can't do. In fact, money is a servant to the wisdom of God. Solomon proved that. That's right. Hot off the wire. Money is a servant of the wisdom of God. Amen. That's right. Who. Hallelujah. Think what you've been wagging around under your arm. Very close friend of mine, brother Nichols. Wife told me right after she first got a hold of this, she picked up her Bible and it hit her one day in her prayer room. It really struck her what she'd been carrying around in her hand for 25 years. The unadulterated power filled word of the living almighty God. And she buried her face in it and said, my God, my God, my God, my God. Your word, your word, Your word. Integrity second to none. God and his word are one.
