#prisonplaylist #sermon #faithinthewild #victory #worship #church #covid19 #hope #faith SERMON NOTES Acts 28:1-10--- Paul is facing disapointment after disapointment -- IF THE DEVIL CAN’T DISTRACT YOU, HE WILL DISCOURAGE YOU… he doesn’t want you to know the power of your existence---he doesn’t care how he takes you out, he just doesn’t want you to know why you’re here… ---PEOPLE are NOT your PROBLEM---REMEMBER your BATTLE is a SPIRITUAL BATTLE not a PEOPLE BATTLE. --THE DYSFUNCTION in your life will NOT STOP until you CONFRONT IT--- the enemy wants to choke out your passion, your faith, your power, etc… --Acts 16:16-19- the word divination in this verse comes from the Greek word for puthon, which translates in English as “python.” --(amp)spirit of python-- The Spirit of Python- largest snake in the world- a powerful constricting snake- literally chokes the breath out of its victims- Acts 16:16 –23 Paul & Silas on a divine assignment- the spirit of Python is after breath- it wants to kill its victims not just control or choke- it’s a slow kill- not an instant kill. It’s a gradual choking… -Every time the victim exhales the python gets a little tighter- spiritual asthma- can’t breathe spiritually… -IF the enemy can get a grip on your mind through ---it will entangle you- it will overcome you until you choose to OVERCOME IT… ---Acts 16:19-32----STRIPPED and BEATEN---the enemy can strip me of life’s trophies but he cannot strip me of my faith, my hope, my love---they can beat the outside but they cant beat the inside---- the bloodthirsty crowd--- a rat infested DUNGEON—a DARK PLACE---what looks like humiliation is often God’s preparation for an acceleration towards your destiny… --Their CONFRONTATION of the DEMONIC STRONGHOLDS in the CITY led to the ATTACKS against them—the anointing attracts attacks from the enemy----when you mess with the devil’s territory there’s going to be a revolt… IT COMES WITH THE TERRITORY!!! What do you do when life hits you suddenly with disappointment, pain, setbacks??
