About this sermon

Message: People You Can (Not) Help Speaker: Ryan Kibbe 4/21/2024 10:00 am Help. It’s not just what God does, it’s who God is. And we are just like Him, made in His image. He cannot help but help. Wherever He is, help is there.  The Bible says He is an “ever-present help!” But our ability to help people is not just determined by our willingness, it is equally affected by other people’s openness! God wants to help us all, but not all want His help.  This Sunday, Ryan Kibbe explores and identifies  BOTH the “People You Can (Not) Help” to help you better steward your time, talents and resource! They lack nothing. Why am I here dying of hunger, feeding these pigs and eating their slop?” You CANNOT help people who CANNOT see they need help and do not WANT help. ‭‭ 2 Peter‬ ‭2‬:‭22‬ TPT “They become illustrations of the true proverb: A dog will return to his own vomit and a washed pig to its rolling in the mud.” You CAN help people who are OPEN to change! ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭145‬:‭14‬ ‭NASB “The Lord supports all who fall, And raises up all who are bowed down.” You CANNOT help someone with a problem if they BLAMESHIFT you for their problem. ‭‭1 Kings‬ ‭18‬:‭17‬-‭18‬ ‭NASB “When Ahab saw Elijah, Ahab said to him, “Is this you, the cause of disaster to Israel?” He said, “I have not brought disaster to Israel, but you and your father’s house have, because you have abandoned the commandments of the Lord and you have followed the Baals.” You CAN help people willing to OWN it and PERSEVERE through their problem! ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭24‬:‭16‬ ‭TPT‬‬ “For the lovers of God may suffer adversity and stumble seven times, but they will continue to rise over and over again.
