Need for the Mercy of God

And tonight I just want to bring a word of messy for someone, because one of the things the presence of God avails us is his mercy, so that as you walk out of this place, whatever messy provides, you will become a recipient. In the name of Jesus Christ. And so very quickly, in this short period that I have, I just want to show us what messy does, and then show us how to appropriate messy. And then I speak a word over you very quickly, and we're out of here, hallelujah. When you study your Bible. One of the consistent patterns you will find, so long as the manifestation of mercy is concerned, is the fact that messy is a force that brings exoneration from judgment. Everywhere the messy of God is at work, people are exempted from destruction. The Bible told us in Lamentations, chapter three, verse twenty two twenty three. He said, it's for the lost mercy that we are not consumed. He said, this compassion failed not He said, they are kneel every morning. You know, as you deal with God, you are going to discover that God is a helper. And in the economy of help there are three dimensions. The first dimension of help is what we call intervention. Many times people go through things. Circumstances that are beyond their immediate abilities and they require divine help. The way God. Steps into your situation to change your story is what the Bible recognizes as intervention. The second dimension of help you find. In God is what the Bible calls restoration. Intervention happens to you when you are going through the problem, but restoration happens when you are already defeated. But you see, when you are working with God, there's no such thing as too late. Even when you are defeated, even when you lost, there are things in God that makes it possible for him to reverse times and seasons and bring to you that which you have lost. And so if God has not intervened in your matter, God still has the capacity to restore. In fact, he doesn't just restore what you have lost. He restores the years that you have lost. That means he has the capacity to replace the possibilities that past that you didn't maximize. He doesn't just change the story. He changed the whole circumstances so that the whole thing that happened replaced before you and you have the right and the privilege to have made that decision as ie if that event never happened. So God does not just intervene, He restores. And then when God restores, he doesn't stop there. The third thing in the economy of God's help is what we call preservation, because after God has restored, God now preserves you so that you don't enter that circumstance again to suffer the. Reproach and the losses that you suffered. This is one of the things that is packaged within the context of the messy of God. The people you helped, they are at the top, And you are forgotten. You have literally fallen into oblivion. But there is a thing called the hand of God. And many times man we fail. He said, the arm of flesh we feed you. You are not the priority of anybody. This is why you most trust Jesus. If it's messy, you are looking for what you see. When messy begins to work for you, even your enemies can be used by God to lift you up. War want to him that trusted in the arm of flesh, He said, the arm of flesh we fail you. The second way to access messy is to rely completely. On Jesus Christ. The third way to access messy is to show messy to others. You find people say Lord, help me, but they can't help those they are supposed to help. They can't help those they are able to help. If you can't help, you can't find help. If you can't show me messy, you can't show mercy. Jesus was teaching in Matthew five seven. He said, blessed at the merciful. He said, for their Shah obtained mercy. James two thirteen said, I will be merciful onto them that show mercy for messy prevails. Sober judgment. You are trusting God to dimify you from a death of ten million. But there's somebody else who needs one thousand. Mercy is for those who show messy. Number four. How do you obtain messy? It's true humidity and brokenness. Every time God finds a humble man, God reaches out. In Luke one fifty, he say he's messy. It's upon those who fear him. In James four six, he said, God, they sister proud. But give it more grace to the humble. Some people are so proud that even in God's presence, they can homeble themselves. Why worship is going on. They are doing their thing because they think it's a sociacadery. Well, you are worshiping. You're wasting their time. And these are the same people that are hope that God is strong enough to deliver them from their problem. If God is not strong enough to break you, is he your problem. God is strong enough to handle. If you will find mercy, you must train your soul to lend the way of brokenness. David fell on his face and save a contrite heart and a broken spirit. He said, thou, o, Lord will not despise because of our time. What's the last way of obtaining mercy? And this is where dimitting is applicable, is. By crying for mercy. The goal of worship is number one, to glorify God for who he is. Now, when his presence comes, it becomes a buffet for you to pick whatever you are looking for, because his presence, his wait, his presence is who he is captured in his presence. This is power captured in his presence. Is his goodness captured in his presence, This is benefolence captured in his presence. Is superfluity, it his magnificence, its his on a shut table supply. So a man who has for not the protocol to bring God's presence. Now, if he walks away, it's not wise. No, when God's presidence comes down, we don't walk away. We embrace it. It's a times of refreshing comet from the presence of the Lord. So when the products of the Lord comes down, a chalatan can become a ferterran, a weak man can become a strong man, a frustrated man can become a blessed man. Because that's the bufray. Oh, many are not aware. It's a profray. You know what. Some of us too. We work for the presence. I know I like power. I work for the presence. When the prothers come, I take power.
