MOBILISING ETERNAL LIFE

Thank you, Holy Spirit. We give you praise all the Lujah. Praise God. Praise God, Praise God, Prisk God. John chapter three, verse sixteen. Tonight, I'll be sharing with us very briefly on a very very significant topic. I've titled it Mobilizing Eternal Life. Mobilizing the life that God has given to you, you must master how to maximize the potentials contained in that life. The Bible say, for God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that those whoever believe it in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. This is one of the most popular scriptures, I believe, across all ages. I don't think there's anybody in the Christian faith who has not heard this scripture or quoted it at some point. But you see, one of the challenges we have is the fact that when we engage spiritual things, we don't invest sufficient attention, sufficient time to draw of the wealth that is captured in the things that we say or do. There are four major things in this scripture I want to draw our attention to before I get into my teaching tonight. The first is the emphasis on the love of God. Bring a postal to sit down. It's way. For God so loved the world, it's literally an exclamation. It looks like the writer was trying to draw our attention to the magnitude of love that God has for humankind. For God's soul loved the world, and then he went forward to show us how that love was substantiated. It was not just something floating, It was something backed with verifiable action. For God's soul love the world that he gave not just one of the many things that he could create. When you look at the universe, both in the natural and in the spirit, God has created or had created a lot of things, beautiful things like gemstones, and then of course functionaries like angelic enterities. He didn't demonstrate his love by giving any of those, he said, the way God demonstrated his love was in giving his only begot and so on. So they are not two of them. He had just one, and in the bid to show his love, he gave us his only begot, in son, his best what he gave. And when you study spripture, you understand when the Bible speaks of the Son of God, he's not necessarily talking about a biological reality where God produced an offspring that is different from himself. When we speak of Son of God in biblical contest, John chapter one, verse one, and fourteen helps us to understand what the Bible means. When we speak of Son of God, we are talking about the manifest, tangible expression of God. We are not necessarily talking about offspring. Because in jun chapter one, verse one, he said, in the beginning was the world, the word was with God, and the word was God. And invest fourteen he said, and the world became flesh and dwelt amongst us, and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. So Son of God is actually God manifested in the flesh. Son of God is actually a visible, tangible expression of God. So when you read John three sixteen and he said God gave his only the God, Inson is actually telling you that God literally gave himself. So the way God manifested his love was to give himself. So you can put that scripture by saying, for God's soul love the world, that he gave himself, that he decided to come out of the invincible to the visible, that he decided to come out of the intangible to the tangible, that he decided to exonerate himself from the powers and the privileges of deility in order to show case and demonstrate his love. So the first thing you see in that scripture is the magnitude of the love of God. And I showed you the love of God when I went forward to in straits to us what Jesus went through when he died on the cross. So on one side you are seeing the fact that God was willing to condescend from the height of deity, to condescend from the statues of divinity, to step down from the realm and the ranking of deity as the way of your kissing his love. And he didn't stop there. He now went further to substitute himself and to take upon himself the penalty, just penalty and penalties for our iniquities. So this is a two foot expression of love. One aspect of it is God coming out of the glory of divinity. Another aspect of it is God stepping into the condescended realm of humanity, and not just humanity, but falling humanity. This is what Philippians, chapter two from the five clearly depicts. If you read that scripture from the message translation, you are going to find seven levels of sacrifice that Jesus carried out in a bead to showcase the love of God. Is they think of yourselves the way Christ Christ Jesus thought of himself net verse is that he had equal tattoos with God, but didn't think so much of himself that he had to cling to the advantages that tattoos. Clings to the advantages of that tattoos no matter what. So the first thing you see that Jesus renanquished was the advantages that he had as God. And then you read down he said not at all. He said, when the time came, he set aside the privileges of deity. Number two, and then he took upon himself the statoos of his slave. Number three, and then number four, he became human. Are you seeing the pictoria expression of the love of God. Number one, he left the advantages of deity. Number two, he set aside the privileges of divinity. Number three, he took upon himself the statoos of his slave. Number four, he became human. So Creator became creation. All of this is God showing his love. And then he didn't stop there he went further and instead having become human, he stayed human. It was an incredibly humbling process. He didn't claim special privileges. So even as a human, the privileges that humans have, he didn't claim to it. That's why, for instance, he was born where animals were born. He was born in a manger. There are humans who are born in hospitus. There are humans who were born in privileged location. But even as a human, he condescended himself to a degree that he didn't cling to the privilegious that humans cling to. And he didn't stop there. He said he lived a selfless obedient life. That's number six. So as a human being, he was selfless and obedient. So every opportunity that was rightly his, he let go of it in a bit to achieve something. And he didn't just live a selfless, obedient life. The Bible said, it was on to death. So he died as a human being, and he didn't just die, The Bible said, they died the death of a criminal. So he was numbered amongst the worst kind of sinners, and he was giving the worst kind of death, even the death of crucifixion. So you see, when you are talking about the love of God. This is the catalog that gives expression to the love of the Father. That God set aside the privileges of deity, set aside the advantages of divinity, took upon himself the status of his slave, took upon himself the status of a human, and as human, he was selflessly obedient, and he was not just obedient. He died, and he did not just die. He died the death of a criminal because he wants to remove you and exonerate you from the effect of sin, the impact of sin, and to give you a place in God. The Bible recognizes this as the love of God. So when we are talking about the love of God, we are talking about first the condescension of Jesus Christ, the demoting of Jesus from the statoos and the ranking of divinity, and then to taking the place of men, and not just men, but three leaders sein Us and bearing their penalties. So the first thing you find from John three sixteen is the depth of the love of God. It's for God soul loved the world. The magnitude of this love is the case in the substitutionary death of Jesus Christ. For God Soul loved the world that it gave is only the God in soul. So that's the first package of John three sixteen. The second package of John three sixteen is the secret that is redeved to humanity. Because before Jesus came, the Bible said the wages of sin is dead Romance three speaks first twenty three. So no human knew how or the technology of escaping the penalty of being. All of us were doomed for this struction because there was no price would have failed. The Bible said, the wages of sin is dead, is that the soul that sinate shall die. So every human entity was already working on that judgment, the judgment of death condemned to dystruction. And so you find religions come up from different generations. The whole idea of religion is to look for a way to pacify God and by any means escape from the doom and the destruction that awaye humanity. But you see the totality of the summary, or the totality of the aggregation rather of all the religions of the world could not give man an escape. Man was this subject to death because no penance was enough, even if you killed yourself is a compounded issue because that in itself is seen, so there was no acceptable for humanity. Sixteen reveals to us a second profound revelation. How man procures salvation for himself is that when God gave his only begotten son, he said, whoever believed that in him. That was the first time it was being announced in the realm of men that salvation was possible, and the protocol of salvation was reviewed. He said, whoever believed in him should not perish. Oh, so it's possible that we will not perished. So there is a way actually to escape that, to escape the messianic judgment. And this way it's not penance. I don't have to cut myself. I don't have to climb the mountain with my knee. I don't have to sell all my properties. I don't have to kill myself. Yes, all of the mirage, all of the proper type expressions that God was showing in the Old Testament, finally a cleaf picture was made manifest that Jesus is the lamb that taketh away the sins of the world, and the way you receive salvation is to believe in him. So faith became the getaway to salvation. Faith became the access point to redemption. Nobody knew this before. Now everybody was in darkness, struggling to find life, struggling to find a place with God. But when Jesus came, it became clear all of that captured in John three sixteen. In fact, if you read the verse seventeen, Jesus was speaking, is that this is the condemnation. The light has come into the world, is the momentous darkness instead of light. So the condemnation of the world is their rejection of this lacrificial death of Christ. The condemnation of the world is their rejection of the salvation that God made available to humankind. This is what we've got to understand thirty in John three sixteen, first of all the summation of the love of God. Then secondly the access point to salvation. And then thirdly, which is what I want to discuss tonight, is the package in which the totality of the commodity of salvation was captured in the Bible causes eternal life is there for those who were not perish. God did not just make a sovereign declaration. He has packaged the totality of their salvation in his system called eternal life. So life in the spirit is therefore not dressed. Life in the spirit is actually a package system that God has made available to procure for humanity all of the totality of His benevolence that include the salvation and also include his position in the world that is to come. So when we are dealing with the subject of life, we are dealing with the compilation of the totality of the blessings of God. Everything God has to offer humanity is God life. Whatever you call it, at the end of the day, you route it into life. You can also persive it even in the natural. There is no blessing you have today that is not finding expression on the platform of life. If you were not born, you won't have health. If you were not born, you won't be rich. If you were not born, you won't have connection. If you were not born, everything you hold onto today as important will be relevant. Have you seen anybody who does not exist thanking God for promotion, thanking God for health? What is the basis? The basis for everything you call it blessing is the platform God life. The same applies in the spirit. Everything God has to offer you is domesticated upon a platform cod life. So when we are dealing with the subject of life in the spirit, life entails three things. Number one is the experience of God. John seventeen, verse three. Jesus said, this is life Ethana. It said that you may know Him, that you may experience him. They only through God and Him whom He has sent. You know. I've taught you here before that the knowledge of God is in six layers. There are many people who know about God and think they know God. That you know about God and you will have a doctor ate degree in theology does not mean you know God, because when we are dealing with the knowledge of God, it is purely an experience based reality. If you study the word knowledge in the New Testament, there are six words for knowledge, and I'm not going to do it deep study on that because I've taught you before. The first is nouris. The words is the first world for knowledge, and that word is scientific knowledge. The same way you know the principles of physics, you know the principles of biology. It's a mental kind of knowledge where you are able to understand and explain how realities play out. It's called nosis. But that level of knowledge is not sufficient to bring you into the economy of life. There is a higher knowledge to nurses, and as you study, you're going to find that there's not just one, but that there are many. But because of what I'm teaching tonight, the dimension of knowledge that brings life is the experiential kind of knowledge, and that knowledge is called epignosis. It is the experience of God. So Jesus is saying you don't have life until you have experienced God. And you don't just experience God, you expected to experience God to a point where that experience produces offspring. Because when you move from epignosis, you come to what were called Gino school. Both epignosis and Gino school are experience your knowledge. But you see, epignosis is an experience that may not necessarily have results. Hope. You know that a man and a woman came together does not mean a child will come out of it. It's possible for a man and a woman to come together have a great experience for no children. But when that experience produces an offspring, that experience has moved from epignosis to Quino school. And then when you have must have that experience to a point where you can use to do anything you want to do. Then it's called the kimasu. So this is the dimensions or these are the dimensions that Jesus refers to life. So every one of us who calls ourselves Christians, Jesus expects that our experience of God to be so robot that we can talk about God and we can demonstrate God. We can prove God, we can showcase God. Our knowledge of God should have a tanjibu dimension. This is why John was speaking in First John Chapter one. Best one is that that which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled. Once upon a time, a prophet told you about God. A preacher told you about God. They told you God is faithful. They told you God is mesciful. They told you God is power. They told you God is kind. You believe it. That's awesome. But if you have not known the messy of God by experience, you don't know it. If you have not known the power of God by experience, you don't know it. And the proof that you know it by experience is that your commensative results. If I tell you God is powerful and I know it, I shall be able to demonstrate God's power. So if a man has a challenge, if I know the power of God, I should be able to bring that power on the scene and create a change in his life. There's no point telling people God is powerful and the sick remains sick. There's no point telling people God is wise and they confused remain confused. At the end of the day, we are or theologians trying to educate ourselves. And if we get a degree for it, thank God. But that does not apply to life. If it has to do with life, then it must be an experience that produces result. Jesus said, this is the first expression of life. This is why the Bible said they that believed and are baptized shall be saved Mark sixteenth, sixteen. And he said, deep fines shall follow them that believe in my name, should they cast out devils, this is the experience producing results in my name. If they drink and eat that defines and know them in my name, they shall turn upon serpents and copyons, and it shall by no means hot them. This is experience, This is life producing results. So when we are dealing with the subject of eternal life. The sext thing we are trying to understand is the depth and the quality of your experience of God. Please my body tonight is to help you maximise life. You know, at the Crusade ground, when they spoke to you about Jesus and you made up your mind to accept him as Lord as savior, what happened to you was not no this what happened to you was an awareness and introduction into an experience. That is why you were caught in your heart, not in your brain. When Peter preached on the day of Pentecost, the Bible said, they were pricked in their heart, and they said, men and brethren, what shall we do to be saved? So what they heard and what they were dealing with was deeper than what their brain and allies. They felt something that they could not deny. They thought something that was so tangible that they were willing to commit their life to. This is eternal life. Eternal life is an experience. Now. The day you met Christ, you were introduced into that experience. But you need to keep johnnine in that experience to maximize God. Remember I taught you here in Ephesians three fifteen and nineteen Paul was preaching, and Paul said, first you touch God by peth and then condly is that you should be fool with all the fullness of God. So you begin by touching it. Then you go forward by being in nondated, dominated, and killed by it. You had a measure of it at the Crusette ground. You had a measure of it. To day you received Christ. But the reason the Holy Gost is still living in you is because it wants that experience to dominate your life, so that you begin to leave from the powers generated by that experience. It may not be cognitive, but you can't deny the impression. You can't deny the promptings, you can't deny the impulses. Because it has come, it will begin to regulate your life. That's why Paul caused it. The law of the spirit of life romance adverse too. When it enters you, it chocks you, it dominates you, it moves you. You can't deny that something has entered your life. You can't deny that something is now moving and staring you in the direction. And if you will grow in God, you must master how to maximize it. Eternal life is the experience of God. Unfortunately, there are many people in charge who have lead to or no experience of God because they don't understand how to maximize or mobile life. Eternal life. Eternal life is an experience. Don't tell me about the God you read from a book. Don't tell me about the God somebody told you. Show me the God you know. And the way you show me is by tangible on the diable proofs. It didn't say those who believe we talk about me is that these times shall follow them if they have had intactos with My spirit that are proved that can be denied. There are powers that cannot be denied. So we must understand this. So we move from the religious aspect of Christianity into the experiential affect of Christianity. Number two, what is eternal life? Eternal life is the nature of God that you have come to cheer and co in Heirin. When we speak of eternal life, we are speaking about a new nature, a new DNA that has been super imposed upon your life. The Bible said in John chapter one, from west ten to the twelve, he said he came onto his own, his own received him, not he came into the world. Although the warld was made by him. The ward knew him not, he said, But as many as received him to them, he gave the right to be called the sons of God. He said. These ones were not born by the will of the flesh. They were not born by blood. They were born by the spirit of God. And so when we speak eternal life, we are talking nature impacted into you. So a man who has eternal life is truly born from heaven, is truly born of God. This is why God expects you to live like him. So when we are dealing with eternal life, it's not just oh I had an encounter, I have a feeling, I experienced God. No, God is expecting that when you step out, both in character and essence, people shall see Him in you both that henceforth know we no man after this leash, because something has happened to us. When we fail, we took upon ourselves. The nature of this happened in John eight forty four. It's that you are of your father, the devil, and the loss of your father, are you do So when we failed, a different nature was impacted into us. When we failed, a different we were literally the natured. We became supentine. That's why lie came to us naturally exaggeration test lost. These things happened to us naturally. You didn't take a child to a school to trend them to lie. You didn't take a child to a school to trend them to be afraid. All of these things were dimensions of the serpentine nature that were born in him. But when God gave you eternal life, what happened was a chance substantiation took place. The nature of this happened was modified, and the nature of God was impacted. So eternal life is not just a doctrine we teach. It's actually a nature we have received and we are expected to manifest. Is that, in fact, John Jata pie W eleven to thirteen, this is the record God has given us eternal life. Is that that life is in the song, So that life does not exist in limbo. It is carried by a vessel, and so any vessel that pus that is that life is sciated to be able to host. It is that whoever believes in the song has life. Is that these things I have written onto you that believe on the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life. So you have to come into an awareness that there's a new nature now. The way Peter put it, blessed me the most in second Puter, Chapter one, verse four, Please mediate on these pictures on the daily basis, Peter said, whereby are given onto us exceeding pressures promises. He said that by them we might become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through loss. So when God gave us this life, he brought us into his nature to become fact calf of his nature. The nature of God is your predominant nature. You need to understand this. The reason it still looks as if the serpentine nature is manifesting is because you have not understood how eternal life works, and you are not yet mobilizing the forces of eternal life. Because the way the realm works is what you focus on that manifest You remember Romance eight five said to be canally minded is death, It's said, but to be spirit Ver's eight verse six. Okay, let's read from the Spire ex theret for dead that live after the flesh, do what mind the things of the flesh? So the power of the flesh is in the mind. If you don't mind the things of the flesh. The flesh can't find the expression. It's that but there that after the spirit, the things of the spirit. First six is said to be canally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. So you have the nature of God. But the reason that nature does not seem to be manifesting is because that's not yet your predominant consciousness. But power was teaching us in Connosians three, from verse one to three that if you say you are dead and that your life is feeding Christ, is that set your affection on the teens that are abolved. So he's teaching you how to awaken what is on your inside. There is the nature there, but your affection is still in the wrong direction. That's why it looks as if you are not yet needing like God. But life came to impart your divine nature. He said, we all with unveiled faces beholding us in the glass the glory of the Lord. We are metamo force the same way an ad becomes the butterfly. That's what happened when you receive eternal life. But you have to keep metamophosing. So higher dimensions of the expression of the nature that you have, so you have received God's when men taught you that you touch God, when men hear you that you hear God, when men say you that you see God. It is not about the title. You don't have to be a prophet, one apostle. Just carry God to your generalism. Why do you think you are God, the son of God. You can't be a childe of God if you're not born of God. You can't be a child of God if you don't have the nature of God. That would be a first claim. When God caught you his son, He caught you his son because He gave you his nature. So eternal life number one is the experience of God. Eternal life number two is the possession of the nature of God. This is what Kay came to do for us. He came to inaugurate us into the divine life, so that with function in the divine class. You know, we we we are so happy about our human So you hear people, I'm only human, I'm only human. I'm only human. I'm not saying you are not human, but why do you allow your humanity to dominate you so much? The Bible said, you are now a participatal a partaker of his divine nature. Have you had any Christians before say I'm divine? They can't even imagine it. And because we can't imagine it, we can't manifest it. So we are calling ourselves humans but want to manifest things that are divine? Is it not a contradictional? The only church called one of the apostles John the divine and because of that conscious death, they couldn't kill him. We heard that they tied into a chariot, threw him through the city. When he stood, there was no injury. You can't injure divine. They's that they threw him into boiling oil. After the oil boy for some time, they off it or God came out and shook a off his body and went away. When they saw they could don't create the guy, they threw him into an island called Patmos. You know what patmos is death, So they threw him to the island of death. Even in the island of death, he looked up as there was in the spirit on the Los d A a Hi. You're born of God, of God, so you are off. That's why I said you are of God little children and have overcome them. You are off. The materiality of God is now what makes to you who you are? Work up to the reality. They have robbed our humanity to our face, the us that is not for that to be weak, and that we are to be weak, and the details. That's why even when we try to rise with struggle, no angels struggles to exercise power, not one. They know who they are. The Bible said, the angels expel in strength. They know who they are of God and nature was given you. You are born of God. Is the greater is he that is in you than he that is in the world. In First Corinthians sixth seventeen, is the hint that is joined to the Lord is one spirit with him, is one spirit. So right now your spirit is one with God. Your soul is being transformed to become one with God. Because the end product is for your mind to be the mind of Christ. It is that you have the mind of Christ. So transformation is an attempt to bring you to where your mind originally is. You function, and then your body ultimately with the raptured or aged. You have cast nature. And that's not all eternal life. It's also a realm of existence. When God gave you eternal life, it gave you an experience of God. When God gave you eternal life, it gave you the nature of God. And when God gave you eternal life, he brought you into an ecosystem, a realm of existence. Look at the way Paul, that man got Paul, Ah, no one that mand stood off and said, I have shown you the whole counsel of God. You mean, you know, the whole counsel of God. What the curiture Ephesians one, first three, See what pos if the blessed be God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places, in Christ Jesus, in Christ Jesus. So you were brought to exist in Christ. That's why when you write, when you read the right things of Paul, you're gonna hear Paul said, say, Christ in you is the hope of glory. That's the experience of eternal life. And then Paul, god Father, is that whoever is in Christ Jesus is the new creature. All things are passed away. So Collosians one twenty six speaks of the experience. Second Corinthians five twenty one speaks of the ram. So you are now living in the realm of life. And what is that realm? Christ? Your atmosphere is Christ and Christians two ten days. You were created in Christ Jesus onto good works. So the atmosphere your carry out is Christ. They ran you live in now is Christ. So it's turn alive. It's not just Christ in you, it is also you in Christ. This is why when you're shore up, you come with your own atmosphere. The other day somebody told me that we can't do much outside church that charge there is atmosphere. I say, I love atmospheres, but the applignment we have been got to do. If it depends on the extern atmosphere, we create a loon. We're in trouble. Because there's a level where you enjoy the worship atmosphere, you enjoy the prayer atmosphere, you enjoy the face atmosphere. Truthfully, it makes things easy. But guess what, you are also an atmosphere. When the tornado is passing, do you think a tornado cares whether it's the sunny day or already day. A tornado is the atmosphere you will see the way we move. You can't distinguish it from what is going on, because itself is an atmosphere. When Christ gave you a time of life, he made himself your dwelling place, so that anywhere you show up, Christ shows up by default, because it is now your habitation. He is now your atmosphere, is now your covering. Eternal life made Christ your environment. It met Christ your dwelling place. Is that we are blessed with spiritual blessings in heavenly places. In Christ Jesus is said, whoever second corny has five seventeen, now, whoever is in Christ Jesus is a new creature. You could not have been born again outside Christ. He is the womb of your conception. And so when we speak of eternal life number one, with seak of an experience. Number two we speak of a nature, and number three we speak of an atmosphere instead. In John one, verse four, in him was life, he said, the life was the light of men. Is that the light shine it in the darkness, The darkness comprehended it, Not so that light is our light. That light is our covering. And the Bible said, if you walk in light, then we have fellowship one with another. That's the realm of life. Seek those things which are above. We are Christ seated on the right hand of God. Set your affection on the things above, not on the things of the earth vers trees. By emphasis is that for you are dead and your life is heed in Christ with God. Your life is hid with Christ in God. So if you want to maximize this life, you must seek the things above spiritual mindedness. Number four, How do you mobilize eternal life? Practice obedience and righteousness? He proves five fourteen strong meat belongs to them who are of full age, who, by reasoning of you have exercised their senses discern between good and evil, so they follow good. Remember John one was four said in him was life, the life was the light of men. And then first John one verse five said this is the message that we have received, that God is light. And he said, if we walk in the light, we have fellowship one with another. So the life of obedience and righteousness is God walking in the light. And the more you live that obedient light. The more it sug just out of you, the more it flows out of you. Because that life is light, that righteousness is life, that instruction is light is life. No one that said the world is a light onto my feet and a lamp onto my path. So as you walk in the instructions of God, in obedience and in righteousness, that light is the life of God. It flows from you. Number five, how do you exercise or mobilize the forces of eternal life? Walk in love, walk in compassion. First John three fourteen. We know that we have passed from death to life if we love the Brethren. So if we don't work in love, we are still in death. We know that we have passed from death onto life because we love the Brethren. He that loved not his brother a buy death in death. You see why most of us can't see the blessings of life. You slander people with your tongue, keep money's, shut their lives down, walk in wickedness. I love the root of bitterness. You think you're halting somebody, You hot yourself best before you hurt anyone. If you want to walk in life, all of the beautiful blessings of life, we just mentioned, make sure you master the art of working in law, and finally, to mobilize eternal life, exercise your authority. Don't write, don't be afraid look ten nineteen match sixteen seventeen. If you have life, it's that you will cast out devils. It's that behold. I give on to your power to tread upon serpents and copions and over all the powers of the enemy, and notish that by any means or to you. If you don't expercize it, it will be domant. Did you not read your Bible? It's a faith without works is dead. So if you don't exercise their life in you by engaging it, it will become congealed, mortified, and almost useless. These signs follow them that believe. When somebody is sick, don't wait for it's super impossible to come and pray, breakfast, ask for testimonies. When somebody is demonized, go cast out demons. Don't be afraid. When somebody struck me, speak a word of breakthrough, Speak a w of blessing. Peopod, when it gave you his life, it made you his representative.
