And it's fine fractions that are important, useful, or begin to come out at various temperatures. And pressures. And that's how this spiritual capital is. It's a compendium of everything that God wants to give the believer, but it's in spiritual form. Allelujah. And then it is installed capacity, because the word that is used for dunami, it means installed capacity, like a software that is downloaded on your phone. It becomes one with your spirit. So externally you don't change, but the installed capacity gives you the hope of a performance that is consistent to the new realities that have been factored into your spirit membrane. So the Bible says ye shall receive power. After that, it means the first thing God does is that he brings this spiritual capital, this spiritual investment called holy ghosts. So, if you have been able to stay in marriage more than five years, all these skills you len in relating with your wife or your husband, as the case may be, if you apply the same skills to the Holygos, you will know the Holy Gooes more than your wife because of that arrangement. So if the average believer doesn't know the Holygoes is because they don't care about the Holygos, not because the possibility of acquaintance does not exist. Is because they believer is so cammal that he's conscious of natural things. And it cannot even sense. The presence of the one that you cannot truly ignore because it's too close to the Holygos for you to be able to ignore him. Its operations is made upon your human spirit so much, and it's difficult to ignore him. So if you successfully ignored him, the description of your civilization is what the Bible calls cannot, And as I travel around the world preaching the Gospel, I have seen a challenge. The average believer is a canal person, not because the grace of spirituality is not within range, but because we are more preoccupied with things that our senses can see, and they sustain a greater level of importance than that which is within the scope of the context of reality. The Bible says, why we look not upon the things that are seen, for the things that are seen, the things that your senses can articulate. They are temporal. They do not have the touch of reality upon them, and so if you allow time to pass, it will wear out their reality. It means they don't exist in the real context of reality. So God, wanting you and me to participate in the realm of reality, now makes it available to us spiritual capital. So he says, gee shall receive power after that the Holy Ghost has come upon you. That means you receive the Holy Ghost first before you have the possibility of achieving power. Exactly. Oh yeah, now, will all right? I will keep using many scriptures until I'm sure you're with me before I move on. When John the Baptist was about to be born, geologically and chronologically it was four hundred and thirty years of prophetic silence. The time that the last prophet's side was four hundred and thirty years ago, And so Israel became used to operating without an inspired speaking, without the prophetic world. And when you take your lens and your telescope and you see the setting that resulted out of that prophetic darkness and silence, one of the symptoms you were noticed in the book of Matthew Macluke and John is that Israel was no longer a self governing nation. That the Romans had already. Taken over political power in Israeli territory, and Israel was compared to be subjugated under another authority, that is alien to that which was in the experience of their ancestors. This was a nation that God spoke by way of covenant that no man would be able to stand before them all the days of their existence. And that was part of the commitment that God made that empowered Joshua to take territory after territory so that the people. Of God could be resettled. But after four hundred and thirty years of prophetic silence, Israel was under a master and there was great contradiction, and this contradiction found expression because God was his voice was no longer shaping their civilization, shaping their culture. So a different culture now set in, which was a culture that was formulated apart from God. You know, the prophetic world is critical. The role of a minister of the gospel is critical. Are you there? If you are so late? The average believer from church doesn't come for prayermitting doesn't come for some only. Service doesn't come for three months. We might need to go bail them from prison. And when Zacharia saw him, he was troubled and fear fell upon him. And the angel said unto him, fear not zacharias, but I prayer is heard, and my wife Elizabeth shabed their son, and now shall call his name John, and now shall have joy and gladness, and many shall be joys at his bed, or he shall be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink, and he shall be filled with the Holy Ghost, even from his mother's warm and many of the children of Israels Shah he turned to the Lord their God. Verse seventeen is my emphasis because in verse seventeen, the commitment of God, the investment that God was going to make on this prophet in order for him to have the capacity to fulfill the mission that he was being dispatched to accomplish, was captured in verse seventeen. Take note the Bible says he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elias. Somebody says spirit power. Now I'm still trying to bring us to where we stopped yesterday. Got two things mentioned here, the spirit of Elijah and then what the power of Elijah? So can you can you see in this sequence that spirit came first before power. The spiritual capital comes first before the power dimension. So you cannot understand the acts Chapter one Vest eight usually say power after that. After that it means the spirit of God. The spirit investment comes first, and if you know how to deal with that spiritual investment accurately, it will produce a product of power, which is one of the products that is possible giving that kind of investment. It's not restricted to power. The products possible are more than power. But power is one of the products that you can have if you know how to use your refinery to refine. The complex mixture. Exactly, it should go before. Him in the spirit and power of Elijah, the spirit and power of a lieder. In that scripture. Miracles, science, wonders were supposed to be accompaniments in John's ministry. But when the people came to report to Jesus about the deficiency that they saw in John's ministry, this was their comment. John did no miracle, please on the landa. It means he did not operate in the power of Elijah. Are you following me? But all things that John speak of this man were true. That means he operated in the spirit of Elijah. He prophesied about Jesus and gave so much details. People that were there could attest to the fact that his prophetic ministry was accurate, which was evidence of the fact that there was a spirit that was giving him the information that he was communicated about Jesus. So he modeled the spirit of Elijah, but he did not model. The power of Elijah. And that's how the average Christian of our time wants to be. And that's why I went to ask Chapter one. He said, a received power when the Holy goes it's come upon you. He did not say you received speaking in terms, So the average believer that is baptized in Holy Spirit The only evidence he can show is speaken in tone. We have accepted the same kind of shortfall that was noticed in John's ministry. Hmm, I believe you have come to church now, so we can continue from where wisdom. Meanwhile, meanwhile, this was not the only analysis of John's ministry that was brought out. This is number one. The other day I met some very sincere ministers and they I ministered in the service, and after the service they came, you know, and they were telling me about their deliverance ministry, and I was excited. We got, you know, possible. Most people don't believe that deliverance ministry is legitimate New Testament ministry, even though Jesus taught, Jesus preached, Jesus cast out devils, and Jesus healed the sick. These were the four dimensions. Of ministry that Jesus gave. And if it is true that we are continuing from wages as stopped, these four evidences must be part of our service delivery. Are you there? And then. So many people don't even believe. So I saw a brother and the guy said he had a deliverance minis. I was interested. Then he now clarified the meaning of what the deliverance ministry is. So I was also interested, and in his presentation he spoke about that dimension of deliverance ministry that is written in scripture wherein it says, and. He shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. There's a problem with that. That means we have accepted this John's type of possibility. We have designed our expression our possibility with a measured perspective that excludes power from the question. And that's one of the elements of the faith in our time. Part of what we are believing God for you about in this competing is that you become hungry. To migrate to the realm of power. If we're going to take back you know, it's a sision of harvest that has opened to the body of Christ. Based on the current statistics that came out Pentecostal Christianity has been able to achieve one billion souls. We are one billion. I think we need to collapse. But if and every one of us can wear the governmental power can migrate into power. In the next two years, we can do one billion in two years. Because what Jesus was telling his disciples in the Book of Acts chapter one, where we read because Acts Chapter one was a capacity building program. Jesus was training ministers. That was what he was doing in ectapter one, people that will be responsible for ministry. He was training them. And I don't want to go there to show you what was in his lecture notes. Well, part of what was in his lecture notes was ex Chapter one, Best eight that it to be impossible to extend the frontiers of the kingdom without power. So every believer. That is baptized in the Holy Spirit, we are challenging you today we need to migrate into power. Exactly now. What led Jesus into the wilderness in the first place? So Jesus was baptized in water and baptized in the Holy Ghost at the same time. Whereas the water would dry up, but the holy gooes he received would remain. So by the reason of the holy gooes that he received through that Baptistmman service, he was led to go into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil exactly now, listen, it was not Satan that came to tell Jesus. It was Jesus that was going to look for Satan to be tempted. Are you there when he arrived the wilderness, Because if you're going to look for Satan, you need to know Satan's address. So what is Satan's address? Huh? Oh, ye're not following. Setan's address was fasting and prayer. When he arrived the wilderness. They didn't tell him that he should first in the wilderness. They said go and be tempted. It was him that decided to begin firsting and prayer for forty days. That was not part of what they sent him to do in the wilderness. The key to entering into power requires long fasting and prayer. And that same key that to power, which is long fast and prayer, is also the key to the address of Satan. It is the first thing that will make you too weak to respond to satan. And that's why if someone has a mental situation, the psychiatic doctors don't treat mental issues. All they do is they inject the person to sleep. Even if the demon is doing like it is, and the person is so weak that he sleeps, the demon will not have any opportunity to manipulate the person. So if your weakness is that you talk too much, will put you on seven days drive. First on the seven day one, well, don't know, you will not have the power to respue. So the first thing Jesus did was that he firsted, he prayed, are you there? And then number three, he defeated the enemy and passed the test. Those are the threaties you will First you pray it's a track setter. Then you would defeat the devil and pass the tests, and God will now certify you for the first consignment of the power ministry. So when he returned from the wilderness, he returned. With the power of the spirit. Meanwhile, he started the journey with the annoineteenth of the spirit. Are you there? But prayer, fasting, and pasting your spiritual tests will change the anointing on your life to become power on your life. A man that is diligent with his spiritual exercises, there are some issues that you overlook. Are you there? You come to make and there are some issues you can overlook. The reason is because there is a price that is in view and you want to make sure you pass the test. Lovely, all right, So let's go back to where we stopped yesterday. We said power. Is gift based, authority is relationship based. I said power. Is noisy, but authority is judicial. Number three, power is ability based, ability based, even in basic physics, the ability to do work. That is the definition of power in basic physics. So power is ability based, ability based, it's performance based. Are you there? So power gives you an ability to cost changes. So if there's a man of power in the room, because of the abilities of power, there are some changes it can cause. Who went to the hospital? Someone I was there to us was sick, and when the Holy Goes visited that room, the Holy Spirit was not pointing to the person that we came to visit. Are you there? The only Goes was pointing to someone else that if we are willing to align with him, yes, we came to visit the patient, but his interest at the moment is the person would not come to visit. So if we were inclined to aligning to him to confront a total stranger, his power was going to cause a change. So power is the ability to cause changes. And I tell you the truth, there are so many changes that God wants to effect upon the face of the earth in our generation, and the tools that he needs to bring this kind of effect are power, men are women, which is in the neighborhood will have a day of excitement. If there's no power man on the street, the processes of darkness will prosper because there's no man that has ability within the spiritual context to confront them and say this is the end of this activity on the street. We need men that can cost changes. Power is the ability to cause changes. Psalms seventy eight, verse twenty six. The ability to cause changes. He cost an east wind to blow in the heaven, and by his power he brought the software. By his power. There are many things you can bring by power, stability based. Anytime you reachtures that talk about power, it's actually emphasizing ability. And God doesn't want us to be important in the face of situations. He doesn't want us to be important in the face of circumstances, so he equips. Us with power. Imagine that great charge he gave. Us God into all the world, and big disciples of all nations. He that believes and is baptized shall be said. He that believes not shall be done, and the signs shall follow them that believe. God wants us to be men of ability. He said their capacities there signs. There are way by which we can be known to be follow us of Jesus. We have the ability to cast out devils. Ability as power. So power is ability based, what authority is legitimacy based. I will explain legitimacy base. Come with me to the Book of Matthew, chapter twenty one. I will read verse twenty three. And if I have time to explain further, I might take you to the Book of Matthew chapter seven. And bring one or two things out. And when he was come into the temple, the chief priests and the elders of the people came onto him, and as it was teaching, and said, are you there by what authority does? Down these things? And who gave the this authority? Now stay stay First of all, I would like you to if a Bible is not borrowed on the line. These. These things, these things. So there were physical things that Jesus had before Jesus began that teaching. Jesus had exercise power. People were healed, people were delivered, cancer dried up, people that were crippled began to walk. He had exercised power, he had demonstrated authority. Are you there? And then they now said to. Him, by what authority? What is your legitimacy? Who gave you this authority to do these things? Now, number one, the people were not denying the things. The people did not say the things were fake. The things were concrete that were visible. But the challenge here is we need to know the authority by which you do it. So it's not enough for the things to be positive, for the teens to be wonderful. We also want to know by what authority you do the things exactly, so when we go into the realm of authority, we have come to the realm of legitimacy. Now, there was this guy. He was an anesthetic nurse. Are you there? So he's been in the theater for twenty two years seeing all kinds of sogica prosidires. And it's an expact. It's a professional in administering anastasia. No need for that because you already understand. So something can be good, but it may lack legitimacy. A man can have an ability that is unauthorized and is using unauthorized ability. The man only asks can it be done? And he took off like a tornado. He never asked should it be done? Come with me, Matthew chapter seven. I'll begin from verse twenty one. Authority talks about legitimacy, power talks about. Ability. Matthew Chapter seven, Verse twenty one says, not everyone that's said unto me, Lord Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of Heaven. Now stay with me. I don't want to go into a geological journey this night. But the Book of Matthew is the book of the Kingdom. Why do we say so? They emphasis of the Book of Matthew is the kingdom?
