How that David won. He was a valiant man because he did not take chances. He ensured that he was in the will of God at every point. Read with me verse thirty eight and nine. And he answered him, pursue, for thou shalt surely overtake them, and without fail recover all. So David went down in the confidence, not the confidence of his might, knowing he had secured divine back in. They went there, and then they fought one more scripture Second Samuel, chapter two. One and two. When you read in David's life, it's a total of about nine times the Bible records that he inquired. He inquired, He inquired, let's read the last one. And it came to pass after this that David again inquired of the Lord, saying, shall I go up into any of the cities of Judah? And the Lord said, unto him, go up? And David said, with that, shall I go up? And God spoke to him, there are many cities of Judah, but go up onto Hebron. In other words, if you go any other place, it will look as if I did not send you. Allelujah the will of God. It matters that your confidence is derived from knowing you are standing in the will of God. Don't just say I want to do the business. Is it the will of God as revealed in scripture or as revealed to you uniquely by the Holy Gooes. I've taught you that the will of God is twofold. There is the revealed will of God as represented in the Bible. Once you find it represented in the Bible, then you have the liberty to execute it as far as God desires concerned. For instance, you don't need to ask God whether that sinners should be saved. It's been clearly revealed in scripture that he desires for all men to be saved, and that they come onto. The knowledge of the truth. But there are times that there are unique areas and issues in your life that may not directly be written in the Bible. At such points you need to inquire of the spirit. I'm reminded of some twenty seven I believe verse four Palm twenty seven and verse four. One thing have I desired of the Lord? It says that I will seek after will? I seek after that? But I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, doing what beholding the beauty of the Lord, and to in whire can I tell you this? You can spend one year with God knowing his will for your life, and in one week you can run faster than those who went ten years ahead of you without his will. I can tell you that for sure, there is momentum, There is energy when you know God is backing you. While the faith life, like you've heard me say, does not take away our common sense. He gave us brains to reason. I want to tell you this. There are certain decisions in your life that has strategic decisions. Are we together? I didn't need to ask God whether I should wear this clothes. Sometimes I see myself in a vision wearing certain clothes, and then I. Just go and wear what I saw. But there are times God do not tell me anything. I get up and use my brain and I see a dress that looks nice. I pick it up and God is glorified in it. Are we together? But there are very sensitive decisions that can define the cost of your life. At such points, you don't take rash decisions. You don't just get up and say God is sending me to Iraq, or you I want to go to Iraq, or I want to go somewhere, or I have a unique ministry to terrorist. You need to inquire of the Lord. Are we together? Praise the name of the Lord. So when things are not. Working in your life, it's important for you to inquire the will of God. Let me show you a few things as revealed in the Bible that represent the will of God for your life. First Timothy two and verse four. It is will for our salvation, and it is will for us to enter maturity through transformation. That is not something you pray about. The Bible already really views that is the will of God. Another scripture Some thirty four and verse ten. Beautiful Scripture thirty four and verse ten. The young lions do lack and suffer hunger, it says, but day that's seek the Lord shall not want any good thing. Ladies and gentlemen, I believe by this scripture that it is God's desire for me to live a good life, a descent life, a meaningful life. Who joins me in believing that? Are we together? Number three Deuteronomy, Chapter twenty eight and verse thirteen. Just picking a few scriptures to show you how to decipher the will of God. From scripture, here's what it says. You shall be the head and not the tale. Do you believe that it says you shall be above? Only shout above only. Don't mind where you are. Shout above only. It says, thou shalt be above only, and shall not be beneath. This is God's desire for you. There's no point asking whether God wants you to be above only, or believe it is his will as revealed in scripture. Can I give you two more? No fruitless labor, no futile labor. Everything I do real results, no investing, and then everything crashes. No getting a job, and then your salary goes down the dray. It says, you will not labor, invade, I professide by the grace of God over you. Then labor comes to an ending your life. It says, no bring forth for trouble. Bring forth for trouble. You bring an idea that takes you to the prison. You bring forth a child that causes you headache. You won't bring forth for trouble. It says, for they are the seed of the blessed of the Lord, and their offsprings with them. Twenty four twenty four. Now it says it shall come to pass. I like this that before they call my stone of hell. Only hey, before you call, give us. That scripture says I will answer before you call, before you shout and say, God, look down, He say, I've seen it already, and I'm on my way to clear everything that is not of God. He said, while they are yet speaking, he wouldn't even allow you to finish my stone of hell, you stone of health, my stone of help. Listen, let me tell you this. The meaning of that is that for some of you, before you started verbalizing your request, your tears already did it. And God already had the voice of your tears. And I tell you He's gone ahead of you, already arranging things, rearranging things. Do you believe what I'm teaching you? Please be seated. If things are not working in your life. The first area to look at is the will of God to very weather that desire, that project. Why is it not securing the backing of God? Why is it not securing the power of God? Number two? Are we learning? The second area of diagnosis is you have to verify whether. You are playing your role, your role in obtaining. A strategy for manifesting that desire, or you are manifesting the actions of obedience required to turn prophecy to experience. I'll take that again. The second area of diagnosis is your role. Verify whether you are playing your role. I have taught you the God Man partnership, where you have verified that your pursue your business, whatever it is, you are in the will of God, as revealed in scripture and as revealed by the Spirit. Your next pot of call is, have I obtained the strategy. Taught you that every speakings of God, every prophetic word, is a combination of prophecy and strategy. Say that after me prophecy and strategy like you are learning, say it again prophecy. And if you receive God's prophetic word alone and you do not receive the divinely alloted strategy, I hope you know you can receive an accurate prophecy and use a human or self fabricated strategy, it will not come to pass. I can tell you that God can tell you it is his desire to give you this, but you need to find out how he wants to give you. Don't assume that He just wants you to go and knock on someone's door and say, give me this thing. God said, it's my own. That may not be the strategy. There are many believers why things are not working. It's not that you are not in the will of God. You have not stayed to receive the strategy. Make reference to my teaching the hidden wisdom of God. There is always a strategy. Whatever he tells you to do, do Joshua, Chapter one and verse eight. This book of the Law shall not depart from out of your mouth. It says, but thou shall meditate during day and night that thou mayors observed to do, observe to do, not just observed to know. You can know what he wants you to do. It's a long read. I plead for your patients. I want to use the life of Joshua to show you that, no matter how powerful the speakings of God is as you have heard or received, if you do not engage with understanding, it will never come to pass. Are you ready to follow my discussion. I'm going to show you three things from this story. Please be very patient. Number one one and two reveals to us God's will. Now, Jericho was straightly short because of the children of Israel, none went out and none came in verse two, read with me ready one to go, And the Lord said, unto Joshua, aha, see Jericho and the kings thereof, and the mighty men of fellow verse three, and ye shall compass the city only the men of war, and go around the city once. Now listen carefully, are you saying that Verse one and two reveals the prophecy. It is his will to give you Jericho in victory. Are we together? But if Joshua stood there hoping, he would never be able to defeat Jericho. Verse three begins to reveal the strategy. Give it to us. Please, it is true that this is my will for you. But now I give you the strategy verse three to five. Use the strategy. You shall go around the city once. You shall do this for six days. Verse four it says, and seven prints shall bear before the act seven trumpets of ramshorn. And by the seventh day you shall go around the city how many times seven times, and the priest shall blow the trumpet verse five. And it shall come to pass when you walk by this strategy, they hear the sound. The people will shout with a great shout, and the wall of the city will fall flat, and the people shall ascend up every man straight before him. Joshua receives a blueprint. This is the will of God. But he receives the strategy. Go around every time, once every day, on the seven day, go around seven times. At the end of the seven time. Let there be a shout. Put trumpets and voice together, and the gates will come crossing. Are we together now? Just because he heard the strategy, it didn't mean that everything would work automatically. Let's run now from verse six media, let's walk together, same scripture six, verse six. Walk with me now. And Joshua, the son of None called the priests. It was not enough that they received the strategy verse sixteen. Now, and it came to pass, Hallelujah, that on the seventh time, when the priest blew the trumpets, Joshua. Said to the people, now, according to the. Strategy we received, shout, for the Lord has given you this city. Verse seventeen. The Bible says, and. The city shall be accursed whatever it is. They did happen, as God said, talk to me. They did it. Happen, as God said, when did it happen? Not immediately after, he said, not even when the strategy came, when man came in to play his role, and when his obedience was complete, not half heartedly. It didn't come any one of those times. As they went once every day at the seventh shouts, they shouted that miracle happened, and. Praying for you in the name of Jesus Christ. Everywhere you are supposed to be playing a role in your miracle, and you are leaving it to God. May God grant you the sense of responsibility today to partner with Heaven and accelerate your life in the name of Jesus Christ. In the name of Jesus Christ. Hebrews chapter one, verse one to three, the Bible says, Hebrews four one to three. Let us there, for fear lest a promise being left us of entering into the rest any of you should seem to come short of it. Verse two, the Bible says, for onto us was the Gospel preached as well as onto them. It says, but the word preach coinonia, listen and learn the word. Priach did not profit them. Incorruptible word, portent, word anointed preacher well communicated, but it did not profit them. Why not mix with faith in them that heard it? Not mixed with faith in them that heard it? Verse three, For we which have believed, do enter into rest? As he said, I have sown in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest, although the works were finished from the foundations of the world, but their own belief has stop them from entering to rest. Let me tell you something I've learned. This has changed my life. It's important to know that in the equation of your testimony, your success, your victory, your finances, your life, there is a role that God has to play. No man can play that role for him, but there is a role that you have to play. Your inquiry is not complete if you leave everything to God. Most believers sincerely leave everything to God, and they say, God, you are a mighty God. If you want to give me a job, you can give me a job. If you want to give me a child, you can give me a child. You want to give me increase, you can give me increase all together. You want to give me money, you can give me money. Lord. What is money that you cannot give me. That's not the way it works in the kingdom. A wiser prayer is, Father, I know that it is your desire from scripture to bless me. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood. Our wrestle, our contention is not against what is human or human, he says. Principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. The Bible tells you that you are in a wrestle, a contention. Are we together now when you find a project moving, a church moving, a ministry moving, a family moving, a destiny rising, as if Satan left them and did not distop them, there is no body who is not Satan's potential candidate. Satan does not select orders and leave orders. He selects everybody. It's just that he does not attack at the same time there are orders. He will prefer attacking because attacking them will automatically attack orders. For instance, he can choose to strike the shepherd because it is better for him to attack one man. It is cheaper for him to attack one man than to attack one million people connected to that one man. Whether you're a backslider, whether you're an unbeliever, whether you are a spiritual man, whether you are a very serious Christian, Satan will still attach you if allowed. Your spirituality or non spirituality does. Not matter to him. It is what he does. He steals, he kills, he destroys, and if you think he's not come around your corridor. He's on his way coming. Some of you came to churche tonight and truly all that was in your mind is Satan. Someone help me, get Setan out of my life, get Setan out of my business. I lost my money, Satan. Some relationships, you know, strategic relationships, have lost Satan. He may be at the end point of that whole thing, but there were things that gave him access. Are we together now? One of it is, you're not very fine whether you are living by the world. One of the ways to walk in the will of God is to live by the world. Write that down. One of the ways to work in the will of God is to live by the world. It's not just about prayer, and said God, Should I wake up now? Should I still be sleeping? Should I get up? No?
