Israel in the End Times Part 5 Kathryn Kuhlman Ezekiel 36 A New Heart & You Shall Dwell in the Land

Father God, inspire us with wisdom, divine wisdom, your wisdom. Inspire all of us of every color, of every race, of every creed, to use our wealth, our strength, to help our brother instead of destroying him. Please, I pray. Be swift to save us. Dear God, hear the cry of the righteous. Protect us as we turn to thee. Help us before it's too late. Amen. Well, sir, again today, one of those heart -to -heart talks and... I'm going to begin just exactly where I left you, and I hope you have your Bible open to the last scripture that I gave you before I left you the last time I was in your home. Ezekiel, the 36th chapter, beginning with the 22nd verse. We'll read it together. Therefore say unto the house of Israel, thus saith the lord god i will take you from among the nations and gather you out of all countries and will bring you into your own land then will i sprinkle clean water upon you and ye shall be clean clean from all your filthiness and from all your idols I will cleanse you. A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you. And I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh. I will put my spirit within you and cause you to walk in my statues. and ye shall keep my judgments and do them. And ye shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers, and ye shall be my people, and I will be your God. And, beloved, that was given centuries and centuries ago to Ezekiel through the Holy Spirit. And in our own present generation, you and I have lived to see Israel restored again as a nation, and we will see the complete fulfillment of God's Word when the Jew as a nation will have her spiritual eyes opened And the Lord God himself will put a new heart, his own spirit, in the Jew. And he will accept the Christ as the true Messiah. That's thrilling. Say, you talk about a revival. Oh, some of you may have lived through some great spiritual awakening. Some of you have been praying and praying for revival for your church, for your city, for the world. The greatest revival that the world has ever known is yet future, but the very near future. I say that advisedly. The very near future. All of Israel, when the Jews as a people will recognize and will accept the Son of the Living God as their true Messiah. Oh, that's glorious. Israel's going to have her day. We're on the very threshold now of the time when we have the end. of the time of the Gentiles. And of course, that day ceases when the Holy Spirit leaves this earth. The church is raptured. The church is caught up. And then we come into the day, the time of the Jew, when God will fulfill every covenant. and every promise that he made to Abraham and his seed. Oh, sure. Mm -hmm. Oh, that's glorious. God's wonderful promise to Israel as a nation. Read it. It's thrilling. A new heart also will I give you. A new heart. Here's something that gives us comfort. That's... stony heart of Israel, which has withstood the gracious pleading of their God for so long. So long. For generations, for centuries, they have rebelled against the true Messiah. They have rebelled against the Son of the Living God. Their rebellion has been so great that literally the word Jesus is almost a dirty word in a Jewish household. And it's just like that. In many a Jewish household, the word Jesus is not to be spoken by the children. Think of the hardness of that spiritual heart. And that hardening process has gone on for generations. But the word of the Lord said, a new heart will I give you. This is something, that stony heart of Israel, which for generations, for centuries, has withstood the gracious pleading of their God, is going to be replaced. And in its place, God is going to give. A spiritual heart. A God -given heart of flesh. What does this mean? Just this. That God is going to refashion the Jewish character. Of course, you know, Gentiles has some mighty disagreeable traits. And those who are Jew -haters, let me tell you, examine your own heart. I often smile at these people who are such Jew -haters, you know. But when I look in their own hearts, they've got some mighty bad traits, some mighty disagreeable traits, too. Whether we're Jew or Gentiles, some of us aren't very lovely. You know, it's like that motto that Mama always had above our telephone at home when I was a little girl. Bad in the best of us and so much good in the worst of us that it hardly behooves any of us to talk about the rest of us, whether we're Jew or Gentile. But God says, referring to the Jew, a new heart will I give you. Mm -hmm. His Holy Spirit. will rule in them. And when this has come to pass, they will serve God with all of their heart. They will accept Jesus Christ as their true Messiah. Have you ever noticed something? I have. And I say without fear of contradiction, but only to those who had dealt with the Jewish people. That orthodox Jew, there is a love there for God Almighty that I have never found in the heart of a Gentile. There is a reverence, I'm telling you something, a reverence that is lacking. king in the heart of a Gentile for God Almighty. There is a reverence and awe for Almighty God in the heart of an Orthodox Jew. that you'll never find in the heart of a Gentile. I know what I'm talking about. I stood recently. No, I will not say I stood. I knelt recently in a little chapel in the hospital of a Jewish gentleman. who had just accepted the Christ as the true Messiah. I heard adoration and worship and reverence pour from the lips coming from the innermost being of that Gentile such as I have not heard. heard or experienced in the life of any Gentile. Yes. A new heart also will I give him. They will recognize in Jesus their long unseen Messiah. John tells us that he came unto his own, and his own received him not. This gentleman, of whom I speak, said to me, you know, Miss Kuhlman, you are the only person that I have ever talked to about religion, about Jesus. He said, there's one thing that you say that I cannot accept. I said, and what is it? He said, you know, when you talk about being converted, that I cannot accept. When you talk about the new birth experience, when you talk about being born again, yes, I have experienced that. That was my experience when I accepted Jesus as my Savior and my Redeemer. To be converted? No, because He has always been there. The Messiah has always been there. I could have known Him as my Redeemer and my Savior. When I was a young boy, I could have known him as my Messiah as a teenager. I could have known him years ago. He was always there, only. My eyes were blinded, and I did not accept him. That scripture, I almost felt as though God himself had spoken. John, that first chapter, the twelfth verse, he came unto his own, and his own received him not. But when Jesus... The great Messiah returns to earth again. Remember something. Israel will spontaneously, Israel will joyously, Israel will wholeheartedly as one acclaim him as their long -awaited Messiah. With new hearts they will serve him. And even now, even this very moment while I'm speaking to you, even now, One by one, they are beginning to have their eyes open. One by one, they are accepting the Son of God as the true Messiah. They're beginning a score, a hundred. But the day is coming when the whole of Israel. Oh, that's glorious. It's there. It's there in the 39th chapter of Ezekiel. The 22nd verse. So the house of Israel. In other words, all of Israel. Shall know that I. Am the Lord their God from that day and forward. Isn't that thrilling? The same God who said, I will bring you into your own land. God gave the land of Palestine to the father of Israel, to Abraham, to Isaac, to Jacob. God did not give it to any other people. Mm -hmm. God led Israel not to Ethiopia, not to China, not to South Africa, not to the United States, not to Canada, not to Great Britain, not to any of the places to which the scheming politicians of the world have thought to send them. No? No, ma 'am. He promised that all of the land of Canaan would be theirs forever and ever and ever. The very spot, the very land, there it is. How in the world any intelligent human being can reject the Bible, I'll never know. For any intelligent person to say, I do not believe the Bible, I do not believe there is a God, only shows his ignorance. Any human being who will take issue with the Word of God or says the Bible contradicts itself only shows his ignorance. Take just this one... thing alone. When you realize that many a scheming politician would like to have put the Jews in a score of different places in the world and said, here, establish yourself here as a nation. Or establish yourself there as a nation. No. No, ma 'am. God led Israel to the very land that he had promised them. No substitute, nothing else would suffice. He promised them all of the land of Canaan, an everlasting and eternal inheritance. Isn't that something? Yeah. That's the word of God. There are at least three times the promise was confirmed to Abraham, then later to Isaac, and then to Jacob. And then God even confirmed it to David. And hundreds of times God reassured his people of this part of the covenant with Israel. Palestine belongs to the... It's his. And he's not going to let any other nation, he's not going to let any other government have it. Russia will never get it. Know that. Egypt will never possess it. Never. Red China will never possess it. It belongs to the Jew. It's His, and it will be His forever and ever and ever. In the same day, the Scripture says, the Lord made a covenant to Abraham, saying, Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt. Unto the great river, the river Euphrates. Oh, that's something. That's glorious. Some have wondered how the entire population of the Jews the world over could ever find a living in the small section of land between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea. But they do not know that the land which God originally gave to Abraham and to his seed is about fifty times the size of that portion conquered by Joshua. Therefore, we need not fear about man -made schemes to keep Israel from her homeland and from possessing everything that God promised to Abraham and his seed. Don't worry about it. He's even made provision for their wealth. For way back there, centuries ago, before man became so super intelligent that he feels he can incorporate the moon. God put into the Dead Sea. Wealth. Greater wealth than our poor little puny minds can fathom. For today, there is more potential wealth in the Dead Sea than the combined wealth of the nations of the Earth. He's... even made financial provision for them. Isn't that something? Mm -hmm. Yeah. And no one in earth or in hell can prevent God from keeping his word to Israel. All the schemes of Satan, all the powers of hell will not... prevent Israel from holding her own, for she has God's protection and God's provision. Amen.
