No matter what your day is like or how big the troubles in your life, as long as God is still on his throne and hears an answer's prayer, and just so long as your faith in him is still intact, everything will come out all right. Well, sir, we're not going to have any singing today. We're not going to have any announcements. We're going to get right into our heart -to -heart talk because I feel it is most important that we give the entire 30 minutes to something that involves all of us. I could not talk to you about anything any more important. We are all interested in that which is happening. This very hour, this very day. The year in which we're living. We are all a part of it. For some time now, the very atmosphere has been filled with tension. Nervous tension. We're having more heart attacks. Men and women are dying of heart attacks every day. Literally scores of them. What is it? It's this tension. This terrific nervous tension. The uncertainty. There never was a people living in any day that was faced with greater uncertainty than the people living today. The insecurity. And yet there never was a time when we talked security. Security from poverty. Security from illness. Security in the hour of sickness. Security is on the lips of men and women everywhere. Our government talking security. And yet there never was a generation where the people were as insecure as today. or a time when there was less security than now. The only man, the only woman who has real security this moment, a guaranteed security, is the man or the woman who has faith and hope and his confidence in the Lord Jesus Christ. Christ. I mean exactly that. The future is mighty dark for the unregenerated. And it's getting darker. It's getting nearer and nearer to that midnight hour. But you know what the Bible says? God says to his children, to those who are a part of his great body, when ye see these things begin to come to pass. Look up. Rejoice when you see the distress of nations, when you see the lack of morality, when you see the cheapness of men's lives, when you get to... The place where everything is seen through materialistic eyes. Look up and rejoice. Why? Because your redemption draweth nigh. Things are going to happen and going to happen quickly. Believe me, I tell you something. Do you realize that as we go back into history and go back to the time... of the first coming of the Lord Jesus Christ. When he came as a baby in the manger, his first coming, 25 predictions that had been made by the Old Testament prophets were all literally fulfilled in 24 hours and all in one person. That is how quickly God works. I mean that. When we think of prophecy being fulfilled, we always take a long -range view of the thing. A way out there, some place in the distant future. Remember, and I repeat it, you read the Old Testaments when you read what the prophets had to say. regarding the coming of the Christ. When they spoke of his wonderful coming to earth in bodily form, 25 of those predictions, 25 of those prophecies were all fulfilled. In one person. In just 24 hours. That was at his first coming. I believe that at his second coming. And we are on the very brink of his second coming. Any well versed Bible student. Will agree. That we are on the very threshold. Of the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ. As sure as we came to the day. The hour. when the dispensation of God the Father came to a close. So surely are we coming to the end of another dispensation, that of the Holy Spirit. We're coming now to the time of the end of the Gentiles. This dispensation is quickly coming to its close, and we're about to enter. A new dispensation when God will keep every covenant that he has ever made with Abraham and his seed. Get it? These are most important days. I advise you to get your Bible out. I advise you as we study the Word of God, read with me very carefully. For a fool is the man or the woman who will take issue with the word of God. And I want to say something just now because it is all important. Turn, if you will, please, to the 21st chapter of Genesis. You may wonder why there is such a line of demarcation between the Arab nations, and Israel. Why is it? I think it was one of the most amazing things of my trip, when I took that trip around the world, was when I was in Jerusalem. And many of you listening to me just now would too have been over there. This terrific contrast. how primitive they are in Jerusalem. When you see them with their tents, you almost feel like you're still living way back there in the Bible days. It's so primitive. There's no progress whatsoever. You'll have to agree with me that certainly there's no blessing of the Lord upon the people. or the land and yet just crossing over a little strip of land and you come into israel all miles of wonderful orange groves you feel as though you have just crossed from a land of famine into a world of prosperity And you see God's wonderful blessing. You see the progress. Modern to the very degree. It's amazing. And yet somebody says, in reality, they are really all Jews. In reality, they're cousins. Sure. What makes the difference? Remember something. And that is the fact that when God gave His promise and made His covenant, this covenant of blessing, of prosperity, of security, He made it to Abraham and his seed. See something. The 21st chapter of Genesis. this began with the ninth verse and sarah saw the son of hagar the egyptian which she had borne unto abraham mocking wherefore she said unto abraham cast out this bondwoman and her son For the son of this bondwoman shall not be heir with my son, even with Jacob. You didn't know that was there, did you? Mm -hmm. And the thing was very grievous in Abraham's sight because of his son. And God said unto Abraham, Let it not be grievous in thy sight because of the lad and because of thy bondwoman. In all that Sarah hath said unto thee, hearken unto her voice. For in Isaac shall thy seed be called. And also the son of the bondwoman will I make a nation, because he is thy seed. But the covenant and the blessing and the promise of prosperity was to Abraham, Isaac, and their seed. Uh -huh. You didn't know that it was there. All right. Just in case someone might say there's error in it, turn to the New Testament. I told you a long time ago that the two fit in perfectly. That's the reason one only shows his ignorance when he says that there's any discrepancy whatsoever in the Word of God. They are one. Not two books. One will coincide perfectly with the other. In the New Testament, the fourth chapter of Galatians, that 28th verse, Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of the promise. Who were the children of the promise? Abraham. Isaac, their seed, they are the children of promise. But as then, he that was born at the flesh persecuteth him that was born at the spirit, even so it is now. Nevertheless, what saith the scripture is in the form of a question, and here it's answered. Cast out the bondwoman and her son. for the son of the bondwoman shall not be heir with the son of the free woman and that's the reason that the arab nations and israel have been at war constantly and will continue they will never down to the very In stretch. They will never be one. They will always be enemies. They'll fight to the very last ditch. Mm -hmm. Because the heirs of God's promise, God's covenant, are Jacob, Isaac, and their seed. Isn't that amazing? Oh, my goodness of life, you haven't opened your Bible for years. And all of these things are being fulfilled before our very eyes. They're taking place now. Again, I repeat to you, the day has come when literally you can take the Bible in one hand, you can take the front page of your newspaper in the other, and one will coincide with the other. Only your Bible is more up -to -date. And believe me, you can be more sure of the truth of the word when you read the Bible than when you are reading the front page of a newspaper. Well, sir, you know, isn't this thrilling? If this doesn't do something to you, there's something wrong with you. you might just as well find the nearest morgue and lie down on a slab and say, I'm dead and don't know it. You know, someone has said that these four chapters in Ezekiel, the 36th and including the 39th chapters, present a great moving picture of Israel. The past, the present, and the future. And it's true. If you want a true picture of Israel, her present, Her past, her future, it's all there. Ezekiel, I know you haven't read it for so many years, you felt as though it was dead. It's going to be sort of like the Dead Sea, you know. And why in the world they ever call it the Dead Sea when we are going to wake up one of these days to find out that literally there is more potential wealth in the... Dead sea. Then all the wealth of the world combined. And that didn't just happen either. That too was a part of God's great plan for Israel and the end of this dispensation. Israel's past. Disobedient to God. Full of idolatry. But even with all of that, they were God's chosen earthly people. And I must say, They are an earthly people. I must add very quickly that a Jew must accept Jesus Christ as his true Messiah. He must accept him in the forgiveness of his sins. He must accept him as Savior and Redeemer to be saved. Always, whenever you think of Israel, whenever you think of the Jew, it's always in the light of God's... earthly people. All of his covenants to Israel were earthly covenants. But a Jew must accept Christ in exactly the same way as a Gentile. In that light, we are all one. There is neither Jew nor Gentile. I hope I made that very clear. But as an earthly people, have you ever noticed that any nation Through all of the Jews' wonderings, any nation that persecuted the Jews, there was always some chastisement that came from God upon that nation. God always lifted a blessing. But any nation who ever honored the Jew, that's the reason I think that in a very special way, God has... honored the United States of America because the Jews have found refuge here. We've taken them in. And they know that they have a refuge. They have never been persecuted here in the United States. Our government has never, never, they have been accepted. They have known no persecution here whatsoever. And I believe that that is one reason why God has blessed us as a nation. And I don't care what you think about the United States. I can tell you right now, of all nations in the world, I think we have been blessed most when it comes to God's rich blessings. He's protected us. We've never lost a war. Never. And we can fight among ourselves always. The fighting within is kind of like a big family, you know. When the brothers and sisters and her two brothers and two sisters, they can just practically kill each other. But I'll tell you right now, don't you let the neighbor's kids come in. and pick on your little brother or pick on your sister. You can fight among yourselves, but I'll tell you right now, at the drop of a hat, you're right there to protect your brother and sister, and it's the same with our nation. We can have our troubles internally among ourselves, but we stand as one when an outsider comes in and picks on us. The whole picture changes and it's going to be like that to the very end. Well, sir. And again, I say that when judgment, when chastisement is to be given to his chosen people, the Jew, God is going to do it himself. He does not give it to Hitler. He has not given it to any world leader. He will not give it to another nation. He has reserved that unto himself. And it's like that. Well, sir, oh, I don't know why I get so thrilled. Because I see this whole thing taking shape. And the whole thing happening before our very eyes. Today, now, quickly. It's all coming to a head right now. All right. Read, if you will, please, about the... I won't have time to read it all to you. That's the reason. Be sure you read the Bible regarding everything that I give you. If you can't remember anything else, it's the 36th chapter of Ezekiel. especially the first 23 verses. And you'll see how God reminds Israel of her chastisement for her sin against God. Let me just read this part. This is from the Bible. The enemy hath said against you, Aha, even the ancient high places are ours in possession. They have made you desolate and infamy of the people, a prey and derision. Ye have borne the shame of the heathen. Heathen in all of these verses means nations. When the house of Israel dwelt in their own land, they defiled it by their own way and by their doings. Wherefore, I... poured out my fury upon them for the blood that they had shed upon the land and for their idols wherewith they had polluted it and i scattered them among the heathen and they were dispersed through the countries according to their way and according to their doings i judged them and when they entered unto the heathen where they went they profaned my holy name all My goodness alive. Listen to what God is saying regarding Israel. At least three times in this passage, God says that Israel profaned his holy name. Furthermore, God reminds his people that for his own holy name's sake, he will restore Israel. That the nations may know that he... Is the Lord. And he did exactly that. To think that you and I. Were so privileged. That we are living. In the very generation. The very day. I was living. When this part of prophecy. Was fulfilled. Way back there. The Holy Spirit. Spoke through Ezekiel. And we have. God's promise. to Israel that they would be established again as a nation. Think of the years that have come and gone since this covenant was made. And to think that you and I were living in the very generation, the very year when Israel was restored as a nation. And that Every nation except Russia, at the time that it was established as a nation, acknowledged it as a nation. For hundreds of years, Israel had tried the patience of her long -suffering and tender God before he scattered that nation throughout the world. Hundreds of years, he was patient with Israel. He was long -suffering with his people. Read the books of Moses. Read from Genesis through Deuteronomy. See the many failures, the murmurings of the people, even while God was leading them from Egypt to Canaan with a wonderful mighty hand leading them. Read the book of Judges to see the apostasies, the punishments sent by Jehovah in order to turn his people from their backslidings. Remember the times almost without number when the kings... Both Judah and Israel did that which was evil in the sight of the Lord. I tell you, my friends, the mercy, the long -suffering of Israel's God, our God, too, caused us to marvel. But apostasy followed apostasy. Rebellion followed rebellion until finally God scattered Israel among all the nations under the heavens. You'll find Jews until recently. in every nation under the heaven. And for more than 19 weary centuries, the Jew has trodden from pillar to post, finding no rest for the sole of his feet, until truly he was literally the wandering Jew. No country was his home. Yet he was found in every land. Until in this very day in which you and I live, we saw the establishment of the Jew as a nation, Israel. I say without fear of contradiction, and before I finish these heart -to -heart talks, Russia sealed her doom, and any nation... will seal its doom if they try to take Israel. For Israel has God's blessing and God's protection.
