HOW TO ENGAGE GOD

God walks from ahead of us, and most times, if he wants to give us a clue as to what He is doing, he begins to speak about things that are not within the framework of our time and space. And that's why it's needed for us to walk by faith, because God is domiciled in a frame of reference that is not consistent with our current reality. Even in his attempts to bring us redemption, it is not in keeping with our expectations, but is in keeping with His purposes. Human expectations are different from divine purposes, and the grace of God and the power of God flows in the direction of the purpose of God. God does not take sides with men. He takes sides with his purposes, and if by any means you are in alignment with His agenda, then his grace will flow in your direction. In view of the above, it is therefore critical for anyone that has destiny in view to label to be in sync with the purposes and the will of God. When you are in sync with the purposes of God, then you can become an instrument that God can use to actualize his intentions. Listen to me, man is not that important to the purpose of God. That is important. God can bypass an entire generation and raise their children that would be willing to harken to him. It is a privilege to be numbered in God, to be part of what God is doing upon the face of the earth. Now many people have been victims of false churches, false ministers, and because of that, the extimation of who a minister of the Gospel is in our time is distorted. A part of the campaign that God has equipped us to herrald is the rest of the days of the restoration of all things. Because God decides to launch an assault from the continent of Africa to bring witness to the world and testimony to the resurrection of Jesus in view of there above, He has angelic messengers that have been hovering over this continent. To mark such messengers whose heart has sold out to achieve kingdom purposes, so that they can be quit to them his strength to accomplish his agenda. Many of us came here with the wrong mindset, and I want to trust God that will be an adjustment of your philosophy so that God can find vessels to feel. Let your testimony be revealed, and let your words be back top with signs and wonders. I bring your soul and your daughter before you. Let it go down in the chronicles of the heavens. The Lord began by giving us education concerning his thoughts. The reason why his ways are higher than our ways is because the way he thinks is not consistent with the way we think. Even when you are expecting a miracle from God, your expectation is within the context of your thinking, and it is heavily defective, because there is a way of men conceive that things should happen, which is contrary to the ways of God. Because the thoughts of God are not in the same context at the thoughts of man. So the prophet trying to adjudicate us. Are the ways of God? Now says that as the heavens are higher than the earth, that's how the thoughts of God are higher than our thoughts. Now, it will interest you to know that, no matter how smart you are in this room, the Bible says that the thoughts of God are higher than your thoughts. I know that's humbling, because you like to think of yourself as a star. When you were in the University of Johannesburg, you were doing well in comparison with the students that are were in your classroom, and that gives you a sense of scholarship. But it is nothing compared to the metrics behind the wisdom of God. Now, when he finished giving us that insight, and to show us how that the best of us, in his brightest manifestations, is in no wise comparable with the dynamics of the thoughts of God, he now made a statement which I need to bring to a notice quickly. The statement he makes is captured in the metaphor. The prophetic ministry is a critical kind of ministry, and part of what it entails is bringing and unveiling the Council of God in simple, plain language, in order to avoid every form of ambiguity, so that humankind can relate with the counsel of God. Because of the nature of the prophetic ministry, the luxury of speaking in parables and that sentences is not part of the aid, the teaching and the delivery aid that the prophetic ministry uses, because it is supposed to be revealed in clarity. Whenever you find in scripture that prophets need to resort to parables an idiomatic expression, then you need to come down and look at the context very well, because that is not supposed to be part of the utensius the utilized to deliver and to discharge their ministry. The prophet resorted to some form or parrible engaging similars to typify issues that pattern to the working of God. It says, for us, the rain comet down, and the snow from heaven and turnet not tet the but water it. They eat and make it bring forth and board, that it may give seed to the sower and bread to the eater. Here is his word. God does not use words the way we do. In fact, the first time words were used, God used words in the Bible that were not used for communication, that were used for creation. So if God will use words, then we need to pay attention to the way God uses words. And then he gives us a few characteristics of his world. Number one, he says, I stay with me. He uses three words, and I like us to pay attention to the first word is void. It says, so shall my word be that proceeds out of my mouth? He shall not return onto me void. That's the first one. What's the meaning of void. Why is void in that description? First of all, before you attempt to answer, he's trying to establish that his thoughts, his ways, his words are not like the touts, the ways and the words of men. So he's trying to give you insight into how his word is and how his word opreaates. You must understand the only two times in the Bible that it was recorded that God stood on his feet only twice in the Bible. And any time you say God's standing is because he wants to judge, his posture for judgment is standing, You'll find that just twice in the entire Bible. And I'm telling you this from a researched opinion. You're there. God doesn't need to stand. The reason why God doesn't need to stand is because He does not rule by strength. He rules by decrees. A man that doesn't understand the way God works, you are going to miss the move of God on your life again and again just because you don't understand the way God works. If God wants to work, what he does is that he speaks. If God has spoken, he has worked. If you go to the book of Genesis, you will see Genesis chapter one. You will see God's initiative of creation. You annoyed me. Creation was an act of God. When I say creation was an act of God, I mean that all the three members of the god Head were involved in it. So if you want to study God, well start the creation. Redemption was an act of God. It took all the members of the god Head to achieve redemption. If we want to study God again, we study redemption anything that engaged God completely in the status of his Godhead, in the context of his Elohim, which is the plural for God. Those are the specimens through which we can understand the workings of God. Are you there, good? So, the Bible says, in the same way that snow and rain comes down from Heaven, it w has the earth. And when that snow is released from the sky or the rain is released from the sky, he does not go back to the sky. That's how the word of God is. He doesn't release a world that doesn't have an effect there. Maybe you want a miracle, and the way you're expecting that miracle is in the human way. So it says when God's world speaks, when God's world goes forth, it must yield. First of all, it must have an effect, and secondly it must yield evidence. And if you notice it has not yielded. The meaning of that is that God did not speak, because if God speaks, it will yield. So shall my word be that God out of my mouth, and it shall not return onto me void, but it shall yield that which I please, and it shall prosper. So we have void, we have accomplished, and then we have prosper. In this context, what does frostpher mean. First? PA means to push forward. First means the Word of God is inherent with the capacity to bring itself to pass despite circumstances and situations that are contrary. It will prosper. You need you need rain on the farm for the things you are planted to yield. You need certain conditions to support your agricultural initiative before you can expect to yield. But you see, the Word of God is not like that. It doesn't need any conducive environment. The moment it has gone forth, it has capacity inherent in itself to yield. That's what it means when we say it prospers. Because you don't find guys on the field of agriculm during dry seasons because the conditions are not suitable for yield. But if God speaks irrespective of the condition, irrespective of the situation, it has capacity inherent in itself to combat the contradiction in the context until it us. So that's what we're saying. The promises that God has given you will not come to pass until the prophetic usterances you've been altering from the Lord concerning the people that listen to you starts coming to pass. Just such world came to pass. It was the time that his words came to pass, which is one of them that I'm reading to you now. Do you realize that even though he told the butler that when you restored, remember me, but circumstances and situations manipulated the butler to forget. Because the performance of counsel takes his own unique timing. It was when there was a natural problem that the man now remembered. I gave somebody my world, and I forgot about it, you would discover that that is a new season that forms in context of performance. Reader. Meanwhile, that two years that the butler forgot him, he himself had a prophecy from God that was reviewed to him true dreams. Only those that are willing to take sides with the word that God has spoken, and despite the circumstances and the situations that are presenting themselves, to lose faith with God. Only those who will see the fulfillment of the counsel of God when God spoke, they were in their land of Nativity.
