But listen, God wants to make 0:06:07.440 --> 0:06:09.960 that all up to you. Some of you have spent 0:06:10.080 --> 0:06:15.080 years in an abusive relationship, no affection, no joy. You 0:06:15.120 --> 0:06:17.960 need to take heart. In Isaiah sixty one, verse seven, it says 0:07:00.560 --> 0:07:04.920 that God will give us a twofold recompense for our 0:07:04.960 --> 0:07:08.960 former shame. That simply means that God will take all 0:07:09.040 --> 0:07:12.840 the unfair and unjust things that have happened and he'll 0:07:12.840 --> 0:07:15.640 add them up and not only pay us back even, 0:07:15.720 --> 0:07:19.320 but God promises he'll pay us back double. God wants 0:07:19.360 --> 0:07:22.680 to give you twice the joy, twice the peace, twice 0:07:22.720 --> 0:07:26.040 the honor, twice the victory. Why don't you start believing 0:07:26.120 --> 0:07:28.160 him for it? Why don't you get your hopes up. 0:07:28.440 --> 0:07:30.480 You may have been through a lot, but it's not 0:07:30.560 --> 0:07:34.320 over until God says it's over. You know God is in control and 0:07:56.600 --> 0:07:59.200 in the end, he's going to use that situation to 0:07:59.280 --> 0:08:02.560 your advantage. And this is just what Job did. He 0:08:02.640 --> 0:08:05.640 had all kinds of unfair things happened to him. And 0:08:05.760 --> 0:08:08.720 Job was a good man. He loved God. He had 0:08:08.760 --> 0:08:11.800 a heart to do what's right. But notice that didn't 0:08:11.800 --> 0:08:14.880 make him immune to difficulty. And in just a few 0:08:14.880 --> 0:08:18.960 weeks time, he lost his business, he lost his health, 0:08:19.280 --> 0:08:22.640 he lost his family. I mean, things couldn't get any worse. 0:08:22.720 --> 0:08:25.840 The whole bottom just fell out, and I'm sure Job 0:08:25.880 --> 0:08:29.360 could have gotten all negative and bitter. His own wife said, Job, 0:08:29.560 --> 0:08:31.640 why don't you just curse God and die? It's never 0:08:31.680 --> 0:08:34.160 gonna get any better. It's not worth it. But no, 0:08:34.320 --> 0:08:37.480 Job didn't do that. He had this restoration mentality. He 0:08:37.559 --> 0:08:41.760 knew God could turn any situation around. And his attitude was, 0:08:42.080 --> 0:08:44.400 even if I die, I'm gonna die trust in God. 0:08:44.960 --> 0:08:47.319 Even if I die, I'm gonna die believing for the best, 0:08:47.520 --> 0:08:50.640 hoping on in faith. And when it was all said 0:08:50.679 --> 0:08:53.720 and done, some nine months later, God not only brought 0:08:53.800 --> 0:08:56.120 Job out, he brought him out with twice what he 0:08:56.160 --> 0:08:58.959 had before. He had twice as many cattle, twice as 0:08:58.960 --> 0:09:02.599 many sheep. God is health back, God restored back to 0:09:02.679 --> 0:09:05.120 him double. God wants to do the same thing for 0:09:05.160 --> 0:09:07.480 every one of you. I love the scripture in Job 0:09:07.559 --> 0:09:11.400 forty two twelve. It says the latter part of Job's 0:09:11.440 --> 0:09:15.320 life was more blessed than the first part. That's God's 0:09:15.400 --> 0:09:17.800 dream for every one of you, no matter what you've 0:09:17.840 --> 0:09:21.320 been through, no matter how unfair it was, God is 0:09:21.360 --> 0:09:24.760 saying he wants the rest of your life to be happier, 0:09:25.120 --> 0:09:29.120 more blessed, more fulfilled than you can even imagine. One 0:09:29.160 --> 0:09:32.000 scripture says that God wants to bring us to a 0:09:32.080 --> 0:09:35.960 flourishing finish. In other words, God is saying the best 0:09:36.160 --> 0:09:39.440 is yet to come, and her attitude should be this 0:09:39.480 --> 0:09:42.720 may be difficult, it may be unfair, but I'm not 0:09:42.760 --> 0:09:46.280 gonna lose my joy. I know God is a just God, 0:09:46.840 --> 0:09:49.280 and when it's all said and done, just like Job, 0:09:49.520 --> 0:09:53.920 He's gonna bring me out stronger, happier, and healthier. And some of you don't have 0:10:21.360 --> 0:10:24.560 a big enough vision. You've been through tough times and 0:10:24.920 --> 0:10:27.640 you're just kind of hoping to barely get by. You're 0:10:27.640 --> 0:10:31.679 hoping to barely survive that situation. But no, God does 0:10:31.720 --> 0:10:34.959 not call us survivors. He doesn't want us to come 0:10:35.000 --> 0:10:38.560 through our adversities all beat up and bedraggled, half dead. 0:10:38.840 --> 0:10:41.839 Now we are not survivors. I don't think I could ever find 0:11:13.960 --> 0:11:16.200 somebody to love. I don't think I'll ever find somebody 0:11:16.240 --> 0:11:19.440 I can trust. No. God is saying, if you'll put 0:11:19.480 --> 0:11:23.600 your faith in me and have that restoration mentality, I 0:11:23.679 --> 0:11:27.600 will make up for every unfair, unjust thing that has happened, 0:11:27.800 --> 0:11:30.800 and you'll not only get what you deserve, but because 0:11:30.840 --> 0:11:33.120 of that injustice, God will pay you back with much 0:11:33.200 --> 0:11:35.960 much more. I was talking to this man a few 0:11:36.000 --> 0:11:39.000 years ago, and he was a mechanic at this diesel 0:11:39.040 --> 0:11:41.920 shop where they worked on these big eighteen wheelers, and 0:11:42.000 --> 0:11:45.320 he told how for years there he wasn't being treated right. 0:11:45.800 --> 0:11:48.679 It was a very negative environment, and people were always 0:11:48.960 --> 0:11:51.079 kind of making fun of him. They thought he was 0:11:51.160 --> 0:11:53.800 kind of stiff because he wouldn't go out partying with 0:11:53.880 --> 0:11:56.400 him after work, and so year after year he had 0:11:56.400 --> 0:11:58.920 to put up with this injustice and all this ridicule. 0:11:59.400 --> 0:12:01.679 And he said that he was one of the best 0:12:01.720 --> 0:12:04.640 mechanics there at the shop, one of their top producers, 0:12:05.240 --> 0:12:08.160 but in seven years he had never got a raise, 0:12:08.720 --> 0:12:11.480 never got any kind of promotion, any kind of bonus, 0:12:11.840 --> 0:12:14.920 and it was all because his supervisor didn't like him. 0:12:15.440 --> 0:12:17.520 And he could have easily gone around with the chip 0:12:17.559 --> 0:12:21.120 on his shoulder. He could have gone through life blaming God, 0:12:21.240 --> 0:12:23.880 negative and bitter. But no, he didn't do that. The owner said, no, you don't, understanding, 0:13:00.480 --> 0:13:02.520 you don't need any money. I'm going to loan you 0:13:02.559 --> 0:13:06.119 the money. To make a long story short, he accepted 0:13:06.160 --> 0:13:09.760 that offer, and today he owns that company free and clear. 0:13:10.360 --> 0:13:13.240 I was talking to him and I asked him, I 0:13:13.280 --> 0:13:17.120 asked him. I was thinking about when the children 0:13:51.440 --> 0:13:55.120 of Israel were in slavery all those years over in Egypt. 0:13:55.440 --> 0:13:58.680 They were so mistreated. They were working their fingers to 0:13:58.760 --> 0:14:02.440 the bone night. They were given quotas that they couldn't 0:14:02.480 --> 0:14:05.600 possibly meet. They didn't even have that many supplies. But 0:14:05.640 --> 0:14:11.240 what's interesting is that injustice didn't go unnoticed by Almighty God. 0:14:11.320 --> 0:14:14.880 He was keeping a very detailed account. God was paying 0:14:15.120 --> 0:14:18.800 very close attention. And God said in the book of Exodus, 0:14:19.080 --> 0:14:23.240 I have seen the affliction of my people. God was saying, 0:14:23.480 --> 0:14:26.880 I've seen every time you've been mistreated. I've seen every 0:14:26.920 --> 0:14:30.760 time you got up early and worked tirelessly with no mercy. 0:14:31.040 --> 0:14:34.240 I've seen all the abuse. And God went on to say, 0:14:34.640 --> 0:14:38.200 I am coming down to deliver you. In other words, 0:14:38.240 --> 0:14:41.280 God was saying, I have had enough. I'm not gonna 0:14:41.360 --> 0:14:44.720 let anyone get away with mistreating my children like that. 0:14:45.120 --> 0:14:47.440 I'm coming down, and when I show up, things are 0:14:47.440 --> 0:14:50.440 gonna change. You need to know when God comes on 0:14:50.480 --> 0:14:53.880 the sein in your life, justice will be done.
