Faith Without Limits

In Jesus' Mighty Name, Romance, Chapter four, number sixteen. Therefore it is of faith that it might. Be by grace to the end, that the promise might be shore to all the seed, not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the fate of Abraham, who is the father of us. All as it is written, I have met the Father of many nations before him who he believed, even God who quickened the dead, and collect those things that be not as though they weare, who against hope, believed in hope that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, so shall that Seid be. He stugged not at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strong in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully persuaded that what he had promised he was able also to perform. And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness. It was imputed to him. It was logically calculated, logically considered by spiritual parameters as righteous. Yes, So the righteousness that could not be fulfilled by the law was achieved by faith. The scripture begins by unwilling to ask the context in which faith is possible. Faith doesn't function in a vacuum. There is a context in which faith is possible, and the name of that operating system, the name of that context is called grace. So if you read verse number sixteen, you will find a statement in verse sixteen the scripture says, therefore it is of faith that it might be by grace. It is grace that necessitates faith. It is grace that requires faith for appropriation. It is grace that brings possibility, and faith becomes the instrumentality true which you can appropriate what grace browth. So faith has a context. And if you're a student of the Bible, you realize that there were two systems by which God dealt with man in the Bible, and I like to define it with some clear terminologies so that it'll be easy to relate to it. The first system is what we call the system of the law. And in the system of the law, man does all the work in seeking to fulfill the will of God. There is no help, and the problem with the law. Is that, unfortunately for humankind, the demands of God as spiritual, they are from the spiritual. The demands of God are actually demands that are consistent with the nature of God. So when you see the Ten Commandments, for instance, it is spiritual. It is a revelation of God's nature. And that's what God demands from man. And unfortunately for man, because of the fall, man doesn't have the capacity to attain to the expectations of God. So the law came to expose us. The law came to reveal a life remity. If you have ever been to the hospital, there is a part of the hospital that is called the lab. The purpose of the lab is diagnostics. If you go to the lab that draw on your blood draw they take samples from your body relative to the kind of sickness that they are investigating, and they take it to the lab. You know, you know, I happened to be a chemists, so I can tell you about the lab. It's use that when they deployed us two function in the medical laboratory. It is expected to bring us to a point where we accept that of ourselves we are in capable of satisfying the demands of God. And if you're in that state, and God now says, all right, I am willing to help you by establishing another system, which is God Greece. If you have been educated by the law and the obvious nature of your incapacity has been revealed, when God makes the offer of Greece, you will jump at it because you know that in yourself and by yourself, you don't have what it takes to attend to the demands of the law. Are you there? So? The law therefore was a schoolmaster. The law was like an instructor that was designed to bring us to Christ. Where will find Greece. Problem and the way he solves a problem is that he makes grace available. And in grace, God is the one that is at work. Well, even though God is the one that is at work, you bring something to the table, and what you bring to the table is called faith. Exactly. So the laboratory has a way, just like the law, to reveal your condition. It cannot solve your problem. So you now go to the physician, and then the physician will now come up with a prescription that can defeat the organism that is trying to wear out your immune system. See.
