This is a message about HOW TO FACE the giants in your life and the seasons/situations that seem hopeless. THis message will stir a spirit of FAITH in your heart to TRUST that GOD is able to SHOW UP on your behalf. 1 Kings 19:13-15---why do we run from the things/people/situations we need to face? FEAR-----ANXIETY----DEPRESSION---SHAME--- these emotions and moods only keep us from the victory and confidence God wants us to walk in. IT'S TIME TO FACE IT. James 1:2-4---as you face it, God will grow you into who He's called you to be. 2 Cor. 12:9--- God will give you the grace to face it and make it through his power. Isaiah 43:2 1---FACE it with FOCUS---Luke 9:51 ---Nehemiah 6:3-4 ---cut out distractions 2---FACE it with the FEAR of the LORD---Daniel 3:16-19 --the fear of the Lord sets us free from the fear of man... 3---FACE it with godly FRIENDS and FAMILY---1 Samuel 22:1-2 we were never meant to face our battles in isolation, trying to handle all by ourselves--God wants us to be in community--to have friends and to be a friend alongside those who are facing trials of many kinds... 4---FACE it with FORGIVENESS---Genesis 45:1-10 -- you've got to face the people who hurt you the worst and choose to FORGIVE them in order to GET through it. 5---FACE it with FAITH---Romans 4:19-21---Abraham faced the facts but he faced those facts with FAITH in GOD that GOD could SUPERCEDE the facts... ANd God did. It's time to FACE it with FAITH! If you will face it, God will break it.
