We are opening up the atmosphere to the Holy Spirit. We are asking the Lord to do whatever he wants to do in this place tonight, minister to us in the way that only he can. And we want to say tonight, we have one of God's choices, Savant, a man that I truly respect for his debt. I think for the first time in a long time, we are having the balance of theology, the spirit and sound intellectualism being used to deliver God's word. And what that has done to the Body of Christ is that has called us to a higher level. Am I correct? It has called us to a place where we don't just have our spirit in church without our brain. Now we can have the word of God delivered to us in a way that engages our spirit, soul, and every part of us tonight, ladies and men. He needs no special introduction. He is the president of Eternity Network International. We call him nobody else but Apostle Joshua sad Man. Would your please make him work up? Help me, honor Reverend sam please give him a big God. Bless you, very big God. Bless you, very big God. Bless you. Make sure you appreciate is their wife too, when you celebrate the Man of God, you also celebrate his wife. Allelujah. I think it was doctor David Boley who said, every time you see a flame burning, there is also a keeper of the flame. And so we. Honor the Man of God and his dear wife one more time. Let's give them a big God bless you, allelujah. I need to say this just in passing before we get to the world. One of the one of my joys with this church and Reverenced Sam is his resourcefulness. And I just want to say it so that we don't take it for granted. All who are members of this church, I really want you to honor God for having a resourceful Pastor's true. It's true, the kinds of programs, from family life to leadership to business. He gave me a gift of I think his latest book that he's released and on high impact Leadership was such a beautiful I mean I was glossing through it while we were coming and I told him myself, Reverend Sam, this is a. Very very good book. And I don't I don't patronize to play politics. It is true. It's a much needed gift, and I think it takes. A lot you know, a lot of. Study, research and all of that learning yourself to come up being resourceful is not a gift, it's a harvest. And so when we are celebrating him, we're celebrating the hours that's been spent, you know, combining ministry, family and then being this resourceful one more time. Please, let's honor the gift of God. Allelujah, Please you may be seated. Father. We asked that you will bless us again. You started with us yesterday. We pray that you will even do more with us in Jesus' name. Let your word come with power, let your word come with grace in Jesus' name, as I would always do. We're looking at El Eza considering how God helps men, and we looked at the first part yesterday. I'll be finishing today and let me do a quick recap for the sake of those who were not here yesterday. So the word Za. Means literally God my helper or the one who helps me. And I started yesterday by establishing a few foundations. Number one, I said, the concept. Of help, the idea of help that is captured in the English world does not do justice to the Bible's understanding of help that when you talk about help, there are three dimensions. With number one, there's help as support and assistance. Still remember number two, there's help as strengthening or empowerment. And then number three there is help as rescue or deliverance. Don't forget this, so when you are talking about help, you're not just looking at assistance. There are people who need help as assistance or support. There are those who need help as strengthening and empowerment. There are those who need help as rescue or deliverance. And I did tell us yesterday that one of the assignments of help is to make things possible and to make things easy. Don't forget to make things possible, to make things easy. We established a few thoughts yesterday, one that men succeed in life and destiny to the degree to which they find help. And then we settled it for a fact that God helps men. Allelujah. It says I will lift up my eyes onto the heels some one twenty one from whence my. Help come, or when commits my help? It says, my help commet from the Lord, So help can come from the Lord. May your help come speedily in Jesus name and we're established a few reasons why we need. Help, not just as persons, but as believers. Number one, we said, all men, even at their best, are limited, incapacitated. The best of us is still limited, limited in various ways, and the need for help. Number two, we said, human factors, factors. The presence of human factors like injustice, greed, selfishness, sentiments, and biases necessitates the need for divine help. There are times you can do everything right from your own end, yet human factors interrupt. The outcome that should be. Number three, we said, the reality of Satan and demonic forces alongside that determination to frustrate the program of God is one of the reasons why we need help. Alleluyah. That Satan, as an evil spirit, is ever determined to fight our lives and fight God's purposes, fight our. Destinies, and we need help. Allelujah. Then we said a few things about the kind of help that comes from God. Number one, we said that when God sends help, he sends help on time. The Bible calls him our ever present help, not late help, ever present help. It's a very important understanding of the subject of help. Remember we said yesterday that help can come too late. Help needs to come on time. Allelujah. He calls him our ever present help in time of need, and he says, let us therefore come boldly to the throne of Grace, that we may obtain mercy and find help in time of need. Allelujah. And we said that when God helps, he helps in a way that produces a tangible effect. He said yesterday that it is possible for you to receive help from someone, but not to a level that is significant. Remember my example yesterday, someone who is looking for ten million, for example, and then you give the person one thousand error. The person will still say thank you, but it is nothing compared to the need. So help must be significant to produce an effect. It's someone learning. Allelujah. And we discuss five channels and I'll take it from there. Today. Five channels through which God helps men, or the various ways that God helps men. Number one, we set supernatural intervention. Still, remember that the first way God helps men is to intervene. Supernaturally. Intervention means to step in over a man's situation and then to manipulate the outcome so that it becomes consistent with God's will. The scripture I wanted to give you yesterday was the Touonomy twenty six. Since we didn't read it yesterday, let me just read it now verse six to nine. The Touonomy chapter twenty six, it says, and the Egyptian's evil entreated us and afflicted us, and laid upon us heart bondage verse seven. And when we cried onto the Lord, God of our fathers, the Lord heard our voice and looked on our affliction and our labor and our oppression, reading to verse nine, verse eight. And the Lord brought us fourth out of Egypt with a mighty hand, say mighty hand, shouted against a mighty hand, and with an outstretched arm, and with great terribleness, and with signs and with wonders verse nine. And he brought us into this place and had given us this land, even the land that flowed with milk and honey. So God helps men through supernatural intervention. We see that in the life of Usiah. We see that in the life of Shadrak, Meshack and a betny Go. In fact, we see that in the life of Daniel himself when he was cast into the lion's den number two. The second wave God helps men is through the ministry of angels Hebrews one fourteen, are they not ministering spirits sent to minister for them who are the heirs of salvation. We took a queue from the story of Lot, the angels coming to the rescue. Jesus himself minister to buy angels. The apostles. In the New Testament, Peter bid minister to buy angels. Allelujah. Remember when Paul there was a storm, and Paul said, don't worry. There shall be no lost. He said, for an angel of the Lord appeared onto me and said that there shall be no loss. And even though the boat was rocking, they lost a few things. But the Bible says the boat went safely and they landed at an island called Melita. So the angels of God are still on assignment. In fact, it's the name of a book number three. The third way God helps men is through the ministry of men. Through the ministry of men, And we said that the ministry of men is one of the major ways that God helps men. And that ministry is predicated upon some one fifteen hun verse sixteen that the heaven of heavens belonged to the Lord, but the earth had he given to the children of men. This is the world of men. Are we together? Yes, God owns everything heaven and earth. But we are the officials teawards. We are the care takers of earth. And so it matters that men are available to help you. I recall. John chapter five, the man who had been at Bethesda for thirty eight years. When Jesus met him there and said, will that be made whole? Verse seven, he said, I have no man. That was his issue. I have no man. I have an opportunity, but I have no man. When the water is tired, my deficiency is the presence of a man to throw me in so that I can receive my miracle. The difference between him and the man at the Beautiful Gate, they were all crippled from Beth. But the difference is that the one at the Beautiful Gate had men to help him. The Bible says they carried him daily, and they took him back. They carried him daily, and they took him back. Finally they carried him there. And then Peter and John met him, and he received this healing. May you find men in your life. I told us that when it has to do with the ministry of men, there are various categories of men. Still, remember, when you read the Bible, you see litter through scripture the various ministries of men. So the ministry of men is at various levels. I summarized it. I told us that there is the ministry of men who are above you. They provide mentorship, their coaches, their endorsers. You know, they use their influence to provide a leverage for you. There are men who are at your level, friends, allies, contemporaries, and then there are those below you mentees, aids. And even critics, and so on and so forth. And we took an example of the various men in the Bible who God used to be a blessing to fellow men. The best are littles. I said, the jail throws, the wine pressers, the slave girl Aaron and her Jonathan's, the rehabs, the Naomis, the boases Joshua as an aid to Moses. And we said, God also uses cyrus Is and Pharaoh. Still, remember, yes, sometimes the least does not just capture believers alone. God uses own believers, Pharaoh's and cyrus Is. Daniel's promotion came through nebocat Nezza Joseph's promotion came through Pharaoh. Esther's becoming queen came through a hazardous Are we learning now, yes, So the Bible says to honor all men, then he says to honor the king. If you honor believers alone, there are certain dimensions of growth. And exploit you will not experience. Honor must be a practice that is lavish on all men. Say man, if you're understanding me, I also said that sometimes, sadly but truthfully, you also need the ministry of Judases. Every time we mention certain names Judas, you know we hate those names. But the truth is that. There are times where Judas is midwife your current level and then the manifestation of prophecy in your life. Jesus came to die, but if Judas did not do what he did, the Bible called him the son of Perdition. I believe now the only part of Judas his story and this is my personal observation, the only part of judas is story that his useless was his killing himself. Because he's killing himself or living would not have affected the work of redemption, So killing himself was an unnecessary He would have just waited for Jesus to resurrect and asked for forgiveness. He was not the only one who offended Jesus. Peter did not kill himself. He was patient. He went fishing and waited for Jesus to resurrect and said I'm sorry. Away together now. So Judas is dying was useless. He was just killed himself for nothing. Number two, I don't believe Judas was an evil man. He was just a selfish man. Allelujah. Yes. His goal was not to kill Jesus. His goal was to make money out of Jesus. And anytime you are around greatness, be careful. You can make money from greatness. Others wanted positions. You see James and John, everybody was there. They were saying yes about Their motives were different, and the revealer, the purifier of the motives, was time. Yes, Patience is a virtue that forces deception to reveal itself. When you become patient, deception becomes weary, becomes weary. How did I get there? But I will learning all the way and I do Yah. So Judas I personally like the guy. I don't know why he died. I really don't know why he died. I believe that if he was patient and he allowed Jesus to just resurrect, he would have forgiven him. That's why he died away together. Now, yes, which is dangerous. Don't judge yourself too quickly. You can kill yourself, whereas salvation is just one day waiting for you. Jesus never told him I don't need you. He told himself. He said no. He was so pained he lost the money, threw it away and killed himself. I am convinced that if you, because Jesus had to account for him too, and at that time Jesus accounted for him. In John seventeen, Jesus had not even died. He said, all you have given me I have kept except the son of Perdition. He wanted to keep him too. The reason why he behaved the way he behaved was that Scripture will be fulfilled, so he would have been patient. The difference between him and the prodigal son. The prodigal son knew that there's a way out. There's a way out, I will arise. That is always the formula. When you find yourself feeding with the swine, don't kill yourself. I will arise. By the time he was saying that the father had left home already. He never met the father at home, meaning even if he remained there, eventually the father would have gotten there. Allelujah, praised the name of the Lord. So Judas says, by the way, unfortunately he died. Unfortunately he died, Praise God. Number four, we said, God helps men through the prophetic ministry. Still remember the prophetic ministry. Prophetic is very powerful and at various levels and various dimensions of the prophetic ministry. I don't want to go into that, but generally speaking, when I talk of the prophetic ministry, I'm not just limiting it to the ministry connected to the office. Of a prophet. Are we together? Yes? Number five, the. Fifth way, and we'll stop here and then I'll take it from there. The Holy Spirit as the helper. The Bible calls him the helper, the helper Zachariah, chapter four and verse six. The fifth way God shows men help is through the ministry of the Helper. Not by might, he says to the ruber belle, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord. The Bible says in Second Corinthians chapter three and verse five, we're considering the ministry of the Holy Spirit has help her. Now. The Bible says, not that we. Are sufficient in ourselves. The word sufficient means the ability to rise up to any occasion, never disappointing. It says, when you find out that we never disappoint always delivering. It is not an act of ourselves. Please keep that scripture there. Our sufficiency not that we are sufficient of ourselves. To think of anything of ourselves, it says, but our sufficiency is of God. Say my sufficiency is of God. In Efficient chapter six and verse ten, Paul says, finally, brethren, be strong in the Lord. Be strong as a man of God, as a father, as a business man. Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Is it possible to have the amplified rendition of this? The Bible says, draw your strength from your union with Him. I like that. It says, draw your strength from Him and be empowered through. Your union with Him. Be strong in the Lord. In Romance chapter eight and verse twenty six, read the first three or the first four words. No, No, let's go back to KJV. We're talking of help now KJV. Thank you well. The first. Yeah, the first five words. Really, use your brain, use your spirit, let's go want to go. Likewise, the Spirit also helpeth. What does he do? The Holy Spirit helps. He does not just guide, He does not just teach. The Bible says he helps. The Holy Spirit can support a man. The Holy Spirit can empower a man. The Holy Spirit can sponsor deliverance and rescue over a man's life. You believe that, say amen? And there are many ways the Holy Spirit helps. I'm taking a few minutes to dwell here. Number one. The first way the Holy Spirit helps is to help you reveal, to reveal to you the will of God concerning your life, concerning your destiny, concerning seasons. The Holy Spirit helps men by revealing the will of God. Do you know why it's important to know the will of God? Because the administration of God's power is connected to his will. The assignment of the power of God is to birth and establish the will of God away together now, so every time the will of God is known, has given authorization to his power to function. The power of God only works within the jurisdiction of the will of God. And if a toilet works outside of the will of God, it is to bring all things to the will of God. If you're understanding, say amen, alle lujah. The second way the Holy Spirit helps us is to guide us. In John chapter sixteen, I believe from verse twelve. Let's try verse twelve. I have many things to say unto you, it says, but he cannot bear them. Now verse thirteen, how be it? When he, the spirit of truth is come, he will guide you into all truth. Look at that statement very carefully. The word guide you into all truth means you already have. The truth, but you don't know how to profit from it. Just because you have truth around you does not mean it to benefit you. Truth is like the ingredents that you used to make a meal. If you put all the ingredents to make a meal and you give me now, you'll be surprised, whether for good or for bad, at what will come out of it away together now, because I may not know how to combine. Well, let me stop saying this. You'll be surprised that I can cook allelujah. Well you give somebody this ingredient. Allelujah, and find out that with the same ingredients someone who cook nonsense, Am I right on that? And with the same ingredients someone will make you almost eats the plate. So it's not the presence of the ingredients. Even when you have truth, you still need the Holy Spirit. You can give in a way that brings losses and pain in your life because you were not guided into the truth of giving. You can fast in a way that ends up bringing demons in your life because you were not shown how to first profitably. It says, is this not the kind of first I've commanded? That means there are others. For instance, the type the scribes and the Pharisees were doing that dear first was not producing intimacy. It kept burdening them. It's someone learning now. So you must be guided into all truth. When you open the Bible, you are interacting with truth. But out of that same truth, you can pick truth and combine it to become like a nuclear bomb that would destroy you. So the Holy Spirit says, hold on, hold on. You already have truth, but let me guide you. Let me guide you. Because even Satan uses it is written as his raw material for destruction. It's not only you that uses the Bible. Satan uses it too. In fact, it depends on what God says to attack you. When he came to Eve, he said, I want to know what God has said, because that would be the basis of my attacking you. If I don't know what God has said, I can't do anything to you. So what has God said? You're not the only one listening to what God has said. Satan is also listening because that becomes the basis of his fashioning and attack. Glory be to Jesus. Are we learning? So he guides? The Holy Spirit gives direction, and he gives guidance. Let me say this very quickly. There is a difference between direction and guidance. Direction is focused on the final destination. Guidance is focused on the process and the steps that leads to the destination. The Holy Spirit both directs and guides. So even to direct you say to it the rest room, I will tell you turn left and then you will see a black door there. So your mind is on the final place, a way together. But if I guide you from here, I will tell you there is a depression here. Be careful because you can fall and not even arrive there. You can have direction, but if you are not guided, you will not get there. Joseph already had direction. As far as his destiny were concerned, but he needed guidance step by step. The Holy Spirit guides. How else does the Holy Spirit help men? Empowerment? Empowerment? I'm staying a bit because I want you to get that before we now go to activity, waiting divine help. Hallelujah. The Holy Someone is more than ready to antagonize you because we live in a world that is largely is very wicked away together, it's difficult to consistently live like Christ. Only the Holy goals can empower a man to live like Christ. What you call the fruit of the Spirit is actually the fruit of the Holy Spirit or God's virtue manifested to a recreat human spirit. Allelujah. And let me let me say this. When you say you are looking for good people, what you are actually looking for is the fruit of the Spirit in man, whether corporately as a leader away together. When you put a requirement for recruitment, I don't care whether it's the police, whether it's the law called. What you are really looking for is God in man. You may not admit it. What is a polite secretary? By what parameter do you measure being polite? Are we together? You want someone who does not steal, You want someone who is loyal. Those qualities you see only God has those qualities. So when you find a man exhibit. Those qualities, even if he's not born again, are we together? Now? The principles of the Kingdom has cultured him to be able to simulate some of those virtues. But only one who is filled with the Holy Spirit can manifest christ like godlike character. Is someone learning now? So he empowers us to live like Christ, and then he empowers us for service my cat Chapter three and verse eight. But surely I am full of power by the Spirit. Surely or truly I am full of power by the Spirit of the Lord at chapter one and verse eight. You know that, But you shall receive power after that the Holy goes come upon you. Now look at this. The challenge most times with Pentecostal charismatics, with all due respect, is that we focus on the power, upon the empowerment for service. Are we together? And so we have many people carrying the power for service, but they don't look like Christ. Because when the Holy Spirit comes, the first assignment is to make you. Before you are used, you can jump the making. Process and fast and pray and receive importation and now get the power to represent Christ. And you'll find out that there are people. The best way to receive from them is from afar. It's a risk coming close to them, because the closer you come, you will see that they don't look like Jesus, even though they do the works of Jesus and they're not fake, they just have not allowed that transforming ministry and past Us Lit said, whether those who are here or those falling online. In raising men, the first walk is within, then without the man you will raise when they come they want importation. It's a usual thing. I just want importation, and most times we just lay hands and so receiveing the anointing. Look at the ratio of training to importation, Reverend Sam three and a half years to one day. Jesus trained them for three and a half years. Then it's a tarry. You don't need to tarry for power until you tarry and wait to be transformed. The first assignment was come follow me and I will make you. When God calls you, he calls you to himself, then he sends. You to the nation. The fact that you are called does not mean you are sent when he calls you. The assignment is not the nations. The assignment is Him. When you reflect him, he will empower you. You don't need the empowerment for service when he's transforming you. You need the empowerment for service when you are now going to represent him. And there are two ways to represent him, by manifesting his nature and then producing his results. Is someone learning now, Yes, you need both. One of the ways you bring authenticity to the gospel is that the nature of Christ must find the expression. You cannot be anointed and wicked. They don't go together. You see that now, So one part is betraying another part, or you are living in nonforgiveness. Are we together? Now? Doesn't work that way. If you're learning, say amen, So don't tell me you have received the Holy gooes? What have you allowed him to do in you? There are many people who have received the Holy Gooes, but they have not allowed him. And you see, because the Holy Spirit is not a demonic spirit, he will work with respect to your will. And the allowance you give him that he's been in you for ten years does not mean he has been. Working in you for ten years. He may have been working in you aggregated together for just two months out of that ten years, and the remaining part you have just kept him in it because you are still running your life by your will. A demon spirit will you sob on you. But the Holy Spirit will present to you that proposal. This is what you can become like. That's why the Bible says we are changed when we behold Him. If you don't behold him, the basis for change is not there. You are not even interested in changing. When God wants to change you, he brings a dimension of Him that you have not seen. It will now provoke you to press. He will show you a dimension and hide it back, and then it to cost you to now press becoming like Christ and doing the works of Christ. In fact, you may have heard me teach that the fullness of Christ is threefold. Number one, the nature of Christ. Listen, please, Number two the wisdom of Christ. Then number three the power of Christ. When the Bible says we build the fullness of God or the fullness of Christ in men, there is a threefold and that is the assignment of every man of God to build the fullness of Christ, the nature of Christ, character, the wisdom of Christ. Let me tell you this, most of the challenges in the body of Christ is because we are under we're exaggerating. One of these three dimensions. If you build the nature of Christ in men without the wisdom. Of Christ and the power of Christ. You will produce a consecrated people, people who have character, but they will never do anything. They will not build anything. They can't be leaders, They will not be men of influence. You see that. They will be. Poor their children. They can't take care of themselves. But they will never collect bribe. They will never do anything. The consequence is that the generation they're raising will fight them because they are looking for the fullness of God. Have you seen children do that? They will say, my father never told he never did anything, but they drove me away from school. What kind of God sent my father? It's not God. Is that the person who men taught them did not produce the fullness of Christ. The problem was a kind of product that came out if someone learning number two. You can have men, now listen carefully, who have the wisdom of Christ. Now they're john classes. They don't work on. The nature of Christ, but they have the wisdom of Christ. They learn the wisdom of Egypt, they learn the principles of the kingdom. They can't build companies, but they are crooks. You can't trust who they are. But you can't deny the wisdom of Christ. I mean anything their hands touched, They built empires, they are great leaders. They can't cause a charge to expand. Or you come close to them, you will be surprised what you'll find. The wisdom of Christ. Without the nature of Christ, then the power of Christ, my goodness, signs and wonders, you can't even come close to them. I mean, there's such an anointing that will. Hit you down. Every time you see a bad product in the body of Christ. It is one of these three that is the solution. When you find someone who is intelligent, wise, articulate. Knows the word of. God, but there is a character problem. This first dimension is the remedy. This is not a pastor's conference, but I'm telling you get this part and listen to it. Number two, when you find someone who has character consecrated, blameless, loves the Lord. But it's not building anything. You can't build a family, you can't build your life as a see or you can. I mean, nothing is working because wisdom is what builds through wisdom. Not through character. True wisdom is a house built. And then when you find people who know what to do but they cannot make it happen. It's a power problem. Now it is. Dangerous to be transformed without being empowered, because your issue will no longer be ignorance. It will be the way without to validate what you already know. The disciples already had their message. They knew what to say already. But Jesus said, tarry, tarry, because you are going to be standing before people who don't care. When he was in the prison, he did not need transformation. He needed empowerment. When you are luck with change, what you need is not English, it's not Greek, it's not Hebrew. What you need is the power of the holygoes. So when you want to raise a people who look like Christ, you raise people who have the nature of Christ, the fruit of the Spirit, the wisdom of Christ, the power of Christ. Show me a believer who is trained like that. I show you a sign and a wonder. That kind of person will look like Jeep in a way that both believers and unbelievers listen, digress a bit from my message now, because it's an area of passion. You see, I can look at a believer and without condemning you, I can know what is missing in your spiritual development. Once I see you look like a cook, I know what book to recommend to you. I won't condemn you, but I know that you may not like the man of God. You should listen to you see that now, that's why. It's important to be open hearted. When you see someone misbehaving, you can still you can't. You may need to listen to maybe one of Papa Kumuni's book or a message, because that's pirit of holiness needs to kill something there. There is not a wisdom problem. You are the wise boy. You are a cook and God cannot exalt. You that way because the temptations that come with the crown you want to wear it will kill you in the palace. Now, let me tell you this, don't reverse the process in raising men. Don't start with power then wisdom. You first start with the nature of Christ. While you are teaching them, they are itching. They want power, they want expansion. Keep them down there. That's the reason why pastors don't be too quick to lay handsome people. Some of you sated right here. There is no. Doubt you look like Jesus, but you are not producing the works of Jesus because you lack wisdom. You do not have the knowledge of the mysteries of the kingdom. Are we together? You are wondering why you love God with all your heart? It would take I mean, God is not so wicked to tell you. Let me use finances for an example, reveend some Do you know that. I think it was for doctor Lumide Manuel I was preaching when I said this, the moment you get born again, more than seventy percent of the way the world prospers. You can't use that method again. The moment you give your life to Christ. Over seventy percent of the way. You can't do your who, you can't do ritual, you can't follow a man you know, to slip around for money. Look at all this is because you're in Christ. That means only thirty percent is left. And if you don't know that thirty percent formula. It means your life is in trouble. Because you can't bribe, you can be corrupt when others are stealing sharing all the money, you say no, no, no, for the sake of righteousness. So seventy percent. Of the way the world prospers is out of bound for you, just because you are in Christ. So you can have the nature of Christ. But if you don't have the wisdom of Christ, your children will ask you questions one day. That's why there is a generation rising right now. They are angry, they are hurtful, They so honest, people would die. I mean their father was sick and for just two million mirah there was no wisdom to bring it. The man loved God, but he did not understand the leverage of relationships. He had no man He did. Not know how to attract help us, no knowledge of investments, no knowledge of building anything. But he was a godly man. And even before he died, he told his children he said, fear God and keep his commands. And he still died.
