WILD FAITH grows in the SECRET PLACE - DAVID’s COURAGE was BIRTHED in the SECRET PLACE. He was ALONE with GOD. HOW you TREAT the PRIVATE BATTLES will PREPARE you for the PUBLIC BATTLES. 2. YOUR FAITHFULNESS TODAY BRINGS FAVOR TOMORROW. 3. SEE GOD through what GOD’S WORD says about HIM. 4. SEE YOURSELF through what GOD’S WORD says about YOU. YOU’VE GOT TO WIN ON THE INSIDE FIRST. The battle is between the ears...Win the FIGHT in your mind! 5. SEE YOUR PROBLEMS through what GOD’S WORD says about THEM. Goliath represented a significant threat to the security of Israel but he also represented something else as well...OPPORTUNITY. Wherever there is fear there is also opportunity. Great fear to the masses is great opportunity to the warrior. 6. BE YOUR BIGGEST ENCOURAGER. Remember what God has helped you with in the past. Remember the miracles. (1 Samuel 17:33-37) 7. ROCK WHAT YOU GOT. Saul wanted David to wear his armor to be like him, to think like him, to use his style, his weapons, his ways...but DAVID wasn’t about to forfeit his uniqueness. 8. TALK BACK TO THE GIANTS. Use your voice to SHOUT, SING PRAISE to GOD, tell the DEVIL he is defeated! (1 Samuel 17:41-48) 9. Attack the Giant Quickly (1 Sam.17:48-50) The longer we wait to defeat that giant, the bigger it gets. 10. REALIZE every VICTORY leads to another BATTLE...BUT GOD HAS ALREADY GIVEN YOU THE VICTORY. MAYBE THE GIANT wasn’t the REAL TEST AFTER ALL, maybe the HIGH STAKES test was FACING a GREAT BATTLE after the giant.
