Where is God in your plans.... -----There is a saying, “Little is much if God is in it,” but the reverse is also true, “Much is nothing if God is not in it.” ----And that’s what this Psalm says: unless our activity is ordered and directed by the Lord, it is a waste of time and energy. ----Hebrews 3:1-7 MSG version -- So, my dear Christian friends, companions in following this call to the heights, take a good hard look at Jesus. He’s the centerpiece of everything we believe, faithful in everything God gave him to do. Moses was also faithful, but Jesus gets far more honor. A builder is more valuable than a building any day. Every house has a builder, but the Builder behind them all is God. Moses did a good job in God’s house, but it was all servant work, getting things ready for what was to come. Christ as Son is in charge of the house. 6-Now, if we can only keep a firm grip on this bold confidence, we’re the house! ----A builder has a blueprint—a unique layout of his creation. The builder is dedicated to his building project and the process from the pouring of the foundation to the finishing touches. ----God is the builder of everything. We are His house. God has a unique layout for each of us, for each of our hearts. Our houses each have different gifts, purposes, and desires. We the church are His house—a community inviting others in, feasting at the table together, experiencing life together, living in His glory. We, the houses, go through triumph and grief. We are constantly being refined by our helper, our builder. Through it all, the builder returns again and again and never abandons his creation. 1 Corinthians 12:12—27 YOU MATTER YOUR PRESENCE MATTERS YOUR WORSHIP MATTERS YOUR GIVING MATTERS HOW DO WE LET GOD BUILD OUR HOUSE 1----Surrender to His Blueprints for your Life Proverbs 29:18- without a vision people perish. Proverbs 16:3 – commit to him /// Prob. 3:5-6 2----Get Involved in Building His House 3----Recognize He’s Blessed you to be a Blessing in His House 4----Never Forget that when you serve GOD’S HOUSE, He takes care of your HOUSE.
