We cleaned it up and 0:05:36.040 --> 0:05:39.440 put some plywood down, put temporary chairs in it. For 0:05:39.520 --> 0:05:43.880 thirteen years, that's where we had church. Over time, that 0:05:44.080 --> 0:05:47.560 area of town started to go downhill, wasn't kept up 0:05:47.680 --> 0:05:50.680 very well, and we lived about thirty minutes away and 0:05:51.480 --> 0:05:54.919 most of my schoolmates went to the neighborhood church. I know they didn't mean anything 0:06:18.880 --> 0:06:22.520 by it, but they dismissed us. They saw us as 0:06:22.640 --> 0:06:26.040 less than they're not up to par. Well, fast forward 0:06:26.120 --> 0:06:29.359 thirty years, we're no longer in a Rundown feed store. 0:06:29.680 --> 0:06:33.840 God has blessed us with the former Compact Center, the 0:06:34.000 --> 0:06:38.000 premier facility in our city, in the most prestigious part 0:06:38.040 --> 0:06:42.960 of town. That was God balancing the books, God bringing justice. 0:06:43.680 --> 0:06:46.520 And when I was growing up, it never bothered me 0:06:47.120 --> 0:06:49.880 that people made fun. In fact, I never even paid 0:06:49.880 --> 0:06:53.960 attention to it. But God does pay attention. God said, all right, it's time 0:08:49.360 --> 0:08:53.360 to balance the books. On their way out, God caused 0:08:53.400 --> 0:08:57.240 them to have favor with their captors. The same people 0:08:57.480 --> 0:09:00.960 that had mistreated them for years, ones that had looked 0:09:01.000 --> 0:09:05.080 down on them made their lives miserable. Suddenly they had 0:09:05.120 --> 0:09:08.839 a change of heart and they gave the Israelites their gold, 0:09:09.320 --> 0:09:14.400 their silver, their clothing. The Israelites left there pushing wheelbarrows 0:09:14.520 --> 0:09:19.319 full of treasures. That was God balancing the books, paying 0:09:19.400 --> 0:09:22.760 them back for those four hundred and thirty years.
