Get ready, the 0:12:28.320 --> 0:12:33.280 surge is coming. In the scripture, Job saw this surge. 0:12:33.559 --> 0:12:36.760 Everything was going great, life was good. When the bottom 0:12:36.800 --> 0:12:40.760 fell out, he faced a huge storm. He lost his business, 0:12:41.320 --> 0:12:44.880 lost his family, lost his health. He had boils all 0:12:44.920 --> 0:12:49.280 over his body was very painful. And what's interesting is 0:12:49.360 --> 0:12:52.839 Job was a good man. He honored God. He lived 0:12:52.840 --> 0:12:56.200 a life of excellence and integrity. I wish I could 0:12:56.240 --> 0:12:58.959 tell you if you did all the right things, you 0:12:59.000 --> 0:13:03.040 wouldn't have any storm. But that's not the truth. Storms 0:13:03.120 --> 0:13:07.400 come to every person. The good news is for every storm, 0:13:07.800 --> 0:13:11.239 God has a surge. And we don't like the storms, 0:13:11.640 --> 0:13:16.000 but God uses difficulties to push us to a new level. 0:13:16.880 --> 0:13:19.840 He won't let you go through something that he can't 0:13:19.880 --> 0:13:23.000 bring good out of it. He 0:15:32.320 --> 0:15:36.800 didn't make a judgment based on one storm. But can I encourage you? 0:15:59.400 --> 0:16:03.640 That's just to chapter. That's not your whole book. You 0:16:03.800 --> 0:16:07.640 have to turn the page. The storm was difficult, But without the storm, 0:16:44.240 --> 0:16:47.040 I wouldn't have seen the surge. I wouldn't have seen 0:16:47.080 --> 0:16:51.640 the new beginning, the new levels, the new relationships. God 0:16:51.720 --> 0:16:55.280 didn't just bring Job out, He made the enemy pain. 0:16:56.080 --> 0:16:59.280 Job came out with twice what he had before, the 0:16:59.320 --> 0:17:03.680 opposition he had twice, the cattle twice, the sheep twice, 0:17:03.720 --> 0:17:07.160 the joy twice, the strength. He got his health back. 0:17:07.800 --> 0:17:12.040 The scripture says after this Job lived one hundred and 0:17:12.200 --> 0:17:17.240 forty years and enjoyed his great great grandchildren. Notice after 0:17:17.280 --> 0:17:20.719 the storm, he came out with double and he went 0:17:20.800 --> 0:17:25.280 on to live a long, healthy, faith filled life. But 0:17:25.400 --> 0:17:28.960 when we think of Job, many times we think he 0:17:29.040 --> 0:17:32.040 got a bad book, he got a raw deal. He 0:17:32.160 --> 0:17:36.080 had to endure all that suffering. The truth is it 0:17:36.200 --> 0:17:40.560 wasn't his whole life. Commentary say it was a nine 0:17:40.640 --> 0:17:44.280 month period. We hear all about the suffering of Job. 0:17:44.520 --> 0:17:47.120 It was less than a year. It was a season. 0:17:48.080 --> 0:17:50.879 Are you judging the rest of your life by a 0:17:50.960 --> 0:17:54.919 storm that you're in?
