Second Samuel says, 0:05:26.120 --> 0:05:31.040 the men of Judah came and anointed David as their king. Well, 0:05:31.120 --> 0:05:34.360 David was already anointed. After this anointing, David went in 0:13:02.320 --> 0:13:06.680 and captured Jerusalem. The Jebiucyites had lived there for years. 0:13:07.240 --> 0:13:11.080 They'd built huge walls and fortified the city. They said, 0:13:11.160 --> 0:13:14.840 David doesn't have a chance. He'll never break through our fortress. 0:13:15.640 --> 0:13:19.520 But David had supernatural wisdom. He told his men, we're 0:13:19.520 --> 0:13:21.920 not going to go over the walls. We're not going 0:13:22.000 --> 0:13:25.800 to go high, We're going to go low. While the Jebacyites were watching the walls making 0:13:35.040 --> 0:13:38.600 sure no one got over, David and his men were 0:13:38.640 --> 0:13:42.160 coming through the tunnels underneath the city. They went in 0:13:42.240 --> 0:13:46.280 and took Jerusalem. The Gebuocytes said that David would never 0:13:46.400 --> 0:13:50.160 conquer it. David not only defeated them, but now it's 0:13:50.240 --> 0:13:54.440 called the city of David. There are things the enemy 0:13:54.559 --> 0:13:59.080 may have whispered that you'll never defeat. Even 0:15:53.560 --> 0:15:56.120 if they did, we couldn't afford it. I thought of 0:15:56.160 --> 0:15:59.800 one hundred reasons why it couldn't happen. But with every 0:16:00.160 --> 0:16:03.200 new dream, God puts in your heart. With every new 0:16:03.240 --> 0:16:09.240 assignment comes a fresh anointing, fresh fade, fresh boldness, fresh favor. 0:16:10.160 --> 0:16:13.480 All the odds were against us.
