Dangers of Worldliness When you are worldly, there are many dangers that you are going to be exposed to. Number one, destruction of your calling. Wealthiness destroys your calling and makes you unfruitful. And the care of this world, the deceitfulness of the riches choke the word. And he becometh unfruitful. So unfruitfulness are you listening is the care it comes from. The care of the world chokes the word. The cares of this world chokes the word. Now in life are you listening? You soak in the word. In life you experience the cares of the world, and when you experience the cares of the world, you, the cares of the world, quench the calling. So you may be called. A lot of people are called actually. If you want to know when you are called, then think about before the cares of the world come on your life, what are the cares of the world? The responsibilities. And now your only responsibility is to pass exams. That's when you hear the call of God most. When you are unmarried, you care for the things of the Lord. You are totally spiritual that when you are married you have to talk to your wife. You have to talk to her because that is very important to in relationships. And then you have to have sex, you have to eat, you have to relate, isn't it? You have to provide money. Instead of giving all your money to the church. You have to give to look after your wife. It's not a small thing to be in the world. And as soon as you marry, now most ministers, pastors, they have problems, but the biggest problems they have are maritime problems. Yeah, you have a mapped out route, Ephesians 2, verse 2, wherein in time past you worked according to the course of this world. The world has a course mapped out. So since you are on the course of this world, how can the Holy Spirit give you a course? How can the Holy Spirit give you a course when you have a course already? Huh. Have you thought about that? The course has been mapped out. Come here. When you come up here, you go here. This is the course of the world. So what the Holy Spirit is saying here, can you go here? But the course, the course has been mapped. And you are you are wealthy and you are walking on the ways of the world. So you just keep going in this direction. So you see a royal lady. Wow. And you keep going on your course and the course is there and the Holy Spirit is saying, come, Curtis, be the Holy Spirit and be waving at me to come now just wave at me to come. Just call me. Cancel the direction of the Holy Spirit because it is a cause on its own #4 Makes you forsake your ministry instead of forsaking the world. Amen #5 Worldliness makes you an enemy of God. How many want to be the enemy of God? Enemy of God, enemy of? Have you watched this from enemy of the state? It's unfortunate. A guy is the enemy of the state and he really struggles. So if you are an enemy of God, you are really going to struggle. When you are going somewhere, God will oppose you. When you are wildly you don't like God, you don't like God, you don't pray, you don't go for camps, you don't go for conventions, you don't go for programs like God is like #14 in your agenda. God is not a main person to you love not the world neither the things that are in the world. First John 215 wilderness makes you not love God. Amen #8 Worldliness makes you never prove the will of God is good. It never Worldliness makes you never prove that the will of God is a good thing. Is the will of God good? What does the Bible say in Romans 12 verse 2? Be not conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renew of your mind, that you may prove what is that good, acceptable and perfect will of God? So when you, when you are not conformed to this world and you are transformed by the renewing of your mind, you are able to prove that's what is that good, acceptable and perfect will of God. Amen. Now when you have become worldly, you prove you are not able to prove that serving God is good. I'll challenge you, serve God from today. Save Him all your life from the time that you are young to the time that you are old and prove you see what I'm preaching to you. I'm preaching to you from my own experience that it is good to serve the Lord. It is better to choose God than to choose to be wealthy. And I've proved it. I've proved it. I'm still preaching.
