19.Serpents As Masters Of Silence And Of Camouflage

Welcome to track number. 19 of wiser serpents. Masters of silence. Silence. Serpents are silent. Most of them you will not hear a sound. And it's one of the wisdom keys of serpents. That is what keeps them around there. Here, if we knew that, if we heard the sound immediately, we will say this way. We are the soldiers, we are their guns. Trace them, we are going for them. But we know that there is at least one terrible Viper. And it it has been there for years, living in silence, not a sound. When it is even passing by, you will not hear. And some of us are always talking. One of the keys of the wisdom keys of a serpent is it's silence. Yeah, and you will find out throughout the Bible. Silence is an important thing. Amen. First Thessalonians, chapter 4, verse 11. Ask touching brotherly love. Ye need not that I write unto you, for ye yourselves are thought of God to love one another. And indeed ye do it toward all the brethren which are in all Macedonia, that we beseech you, brethren, that ye increase more and more, and that ye study to be quiet, Learn how to be like a slick who is in the garden that quiet, and to do your own business and to work with your own hands. Has recommended you that he may work honestly toward them that are without Amen, and that he may have lack of nothing. But the American Bible or the NIV says starting to be quiet, to do your own business, work with your own hands as we commanded you, that you may command the respect of outsiders. You see, a person who is quiet is more feared and respected than a person who makes a lot of noise and talks a lot. So when you are quiet, you know you are more feared and respected. Amen. So a lot of talking does not necessarily work out well, especially in terms of respect. He says study to be quiet, mind your own business, that you may command the respect of outsiders. So some of us need to learn to be quiet like a snake. You'll never see a snake even when it is lying here and you want to. It will just be. You will not be lying there silent. You see, you haven't thought about it before, but there's no noise from the snake. But a dog. Whoa, whoa, a cat. Meow. A cow. Moo, a dog. Whoa, whoa. A lion, a goat, a sheep. But. A serpent's silence, silent and deadly within 10 it it has to be been. It's something that can kill an entire town. A small town can be wiped out. So as you develop yourself in the art of silence, sometimes you have to be quiet and say nothing down. And for those of us who like talking. I tell you, there are some people in the government, they are more feared because they don't speak. I remember during the PNDCNDC, there was one particular government member. It doesn't say anything. What? He was one of the most feared people in the country. You never made a speech, never said only you know that he's involved in security and you hear stories. So some of you, your respect levels will go up by being quiet at certain places and not having not saying much. And at other places when you don't talk, you lose marks. So you need to know when to be silent. Silence also has its place #2 pastors need to develop themselves in silence. All right. In also, number one is pastors need to develop themselves in the art of silence, right? In order to command respect, to help you respect #2 you need to develop silence in order to prevent you from talking about things you shouldn't talk about. At the same time, they also learn to be idle as they go around from house to house. Not merely idle, but also gossips and busy bodies talking about things not proper to mention. Amen. Now a fool's voice is known by a multitude of words, so ministers need #3 to develop silence to avoid sinning, isn't it? Proverbs 10, verse 19? Where there are many words, transgression is unavoidable. Where there are many words, transgression is unavoidable. Wow, is it amazing. Are you there? Be not rash with thy mouth. Let not thy heart be haste to utter anything before God, for God is in heaven, Amen, and thou art on earth. Therefore let thy words be few. A fool's voice is known by a multitude of words. Are you there? Yeah. Are you there now? Silence is important for you to develop yourself and prevent yourself from sinning. Many sins are committed with your mouth now. Perhaps the most powerful and important reason for you to develop the art of being able to shut up can be found in. 2nd Corinthians chapter 12. It's so that God can begin to use you as a great prophet. You see, if you say everything you know and everything you've seen and you talk about everything you have ever done and everything you've seen and everything you know about, right, you lose your value towards an important person because no important person needs you around all the time. Saying all the things that you see and know about the person and everything to do with the person. So that even limits your jobs. There are many times I've looked for jobs for people and the main qualities are the person doesn't have friends and the person doesn't talk a lot. Are you listening to me? Yeah. The person doesn't have friends, many friends. And the person doesn't talk a lot even to do with me. There are jobs to do with me. That is the quality. So if you you don't have the ability to walk in silence, then even certain jobs you can work, but you still have to be at certain locations. Nobody, no king wants a blabber mouth near him. I mean, do you know how many helicopters we have? Do you know the president's private issues? Do you know this? Do you know that that somebody knows? Can you imagine if everything is coming out to say and even you see the president who died, you see that there were so many things. Obviously he was very sick and probably knew that he was going to die. Not that probably he knew that he was dying and he was probably given a time, you see. But nobody ever said it, you understand? So it shows that the people that were working for him and that were working with him were good people. Because that information, it hates to decide whether it is going out. But if you have a blabber mouth as a doctor or a blabber mouth as a nurse or a blabber mouth as a technician or a secretary or somebody who is writing those things before you realize they're leaky to the news. So this, the condition is, oh, the doctor says that he's got three months to live, you know, and it affects a lot of things when you say such things. So with the king, you cannot, you need to develop silence. That is the next point, so that you can have certain jobs to set a high profile, high priority jobs. You cannot do them. Then the next point is that you have to develop yourself in silence. So that so that what? So that you can be a great prophet. Now when you have learnt how to be quiet about the things you need to be quiet about, then what is going to happen is you can listen to things fantastic and be quiet, Babo says. That he actually had an experience and he saw things and got to know certain things which were so fantastic that it was not lawful for somebody to say them. It was illegal, you see. There are things jobs God can give you. It is not right to say things that you have seen visions and revelations from the Lord. When you are an inexperienced prophet, you will know things and you will see things and you will come and say what you shouldn't say, and you will cause more problems by your visions and your prophecies and what you know that you will cause more problems than solving problems. In fact, you'll not be a minister, you'll be a destroyer. Are you listening to me? Amen. So I'm, I'm, I mean, how many want to be caught up to heaven and how many want to hear unspeakable words that it is not lawful. You see, it's not only illegal to even mention it. What you saw. Wow, is it not amazing. So if you are just a blabber mouth, hey, today I saw Jesus today this today that this happened. He said this, this is this, this is this. You become like Joseph, who saw the sun, the moon and the stars coming to bow down before him. He shouldn't have said it. When he came and said it, all his brothers hated him. Is it not true? And they took him up and they said, ah, we are the stars that are bowing to you. You see us as bowing stars, small boy like you. Is it the right? And dreams is from your imagination. And that caused all his problems. He was arrested. His brothers took him up and finished him off. What do you think? Which is not lawful for a man to speak. What do you think? Yeah, I learned that the hard way. One of the greatest crises of my life came through a word of knowledge. A supernatural word of knowledge. I was praying for people and as soon as I touched somebody, I had a word of knowledge, because words of knowledge come out different ways. And as soon as I touched one of the people, I didn't even actually see who it was. That's why I had to look back because I was moving fast. Then I had the word of knowledge sharp, so I turned back to see what is. Who is that? And that led to one of the top most crises of my whole life in ministry because of what I went to say what you are not supposed to say. Yeah. Not that the revelation was not true. It was true, but I shouldn't have said it. So you see, some of you, when you have secrets, you feel like going mad. It's like you have to say it. You are not ready to be a prophet. It's like it's like you. You don't feel happier unless you said it. I feel I have to say it. If I say it, I'll feel free. I can sleep. But there are jobs where you will know it in your head and you die with it. You die with the knowledge in your head. And it is not lawful for a man to utter Paul. Paul said it. It was. I could never see what I saw in the dead evidence. This is not lawful. That's why the Bible says a faithful man concealed a matter. He's not a bad man. You see, secrets are always associated with evil, but there there is another world of secrets which is actually the exact opposite, the secrets that are associated with good. Jesus was asked when are you going to come? He said, look, I sit by the Father every day and the Father knows the date, but he hasn't told me. We are together. I am my father, we are one. But Can you believe up to now he hasn't given me the date? I said by him, oh, we have discussions every day about the universe. You will not tell me the date. It's only for the father to know. Wow. Masters of silence and masters of survival. Some of your survivor will come from the ability to shut your mouth and not talk about what you don't have to talk about. When Monica Lewinsky came to say all the things she came to say about President Clinton, she became the most hateful person and he became the most popular president ever because her evil became more by coming to say it. Who will stand for him today? He will be your friend, He will be yourself. You'll never leave you nor forsake you. He will be with you until the very end, the end of time. The hair of my face stood up and he stood still, but I could not discern the voice performed thereof. And an image was before my eyes. And there was silence. When you are seeing the day you are seeing, you are dying. It's not good to be seen early. You must grow before you are seen. When you are seen too early, you get finished and you are quenched. So sometimes you pray for visibility to be noticed, to be seen. But sometimes when you are seen early and you are, you become public early and you are on television too early and you are too big too early, it will be the end of you. So camouflage is to hide and to blend and to become unnoticed. When I was in medical school, I tried so hard to be unnoticed. I was one of the few people in the school whose father was able to buy him a car. And I was one of the only students who had a car and I had a brand new car when I was in a fifth year, brand new car. People didn't have cars. Some people had cars, but I was one of the few. But I never drove my car through the campus especially one day I was in the ward of medical ward and the final exam had just happened and one of one, a friend of mine had failed and he used to drive a Volvo. And the lecturer said you see that guy, you see the guy who drives the green Volvo, He trembled here and I know he failed. He was, he was given six months. He had to come and write it again. For six months. I never, I drove through the back. I know all the back roads of Kolebu because of camouflage. When I went to work on the water, I never let the people know that I was a doctor, I was a pastor or even a Christian. Yeah, I appeared on the wall. I never said church this. And when I saw that it was dangerous, that if I leave the ward or if something happened, they would because one day my, my my boss told me, Do you know that I have to sign you on?
