18-Give Yourself Wholly To Your Gift

Welcome to track #18 of Give thyself holy. The next important point is, is what? The next important point is what? Because I want to finish this thing I tell you, give yourself holy to your gift. Yeah. Neglect not the gift that is indeed which was given thee by prophecy. Amen. Give yourself wholly to your gifts that your profiting will appear to all. So you must give yourself to your gift. Amen. Is it fantastic? What is your gift? Now you see, like Ida, she's got a gift, but she's been giving herself to her gift. And you see, my gift is all. I also have a musical gift. I also have a musical gift, but my gift is not singing. It's something else, you see. So as I give my gift to the Lord, my gift grows. So you need to give yourself to your gift and your gift. You always see traces of it when you are young. You see some of you your gift is that you can do 3-4 things at the same time. Some of you your gift is that you are slow but sure SBS. Some of you your gift is melancholism. Money will never get missing under your care. Some of you your gift is not money. You are sanguinos. Money will get missing under your care. Is it true or it's not true? Some of you musicians, you have a gift. Will you continue to use it? Will you develop? Will you give yourself wholly to your gift? When you are young, you have idealistic ideas. I said, I have a dream. She said, what dream is that? Like, let's say if you are a pastor, you know, and you don't have somebody who encourages your pastoral work, you may be a great pastor, but you never imagine. So you have to give yourself. That is why somebody like Asian wanted to be with Mourinho, you know, because he he to like him and always filled him and let him play because the encourager of your gift would make your gift come out. If I didn't want Ida to sing, she wouldn't sing. You just wouldn't hear her singing. That's all. Because it's entirely up to me. Every time she's saying I call her to sing, nobody tells me it's time for her thinking it's my choice. Are you with me? Giving yourself holy to your gift is also synonymous with giving yourself to your trainer. Let your trainer be choosing things for you so that you shine in your room because there is no giftless person here, Babel says. There were 37, they gave 521. Everybody had something. What it is, is people are mistaken in one talent for no talent. Do you understand? It's like they despise the gift and say I have nothing, but it is not true. Most of us were born without hair on your head, but you are going to have a gift anyway. There's a gift in you, for you, with you. Something about you is a gift. What do I mean? Something about you is natural and is unique, but you have to find it. Your coach can help you to find it and it comes out, but as you work, you find it out that if you become proud, you are not at the high level status of the top footballer. But you started quarreling with the coach. How would your gift be found? Yeah, I remember, you know, I used to go to America and every time I went there I would ask of a particular singer. Every time I said why don't you sing, then there was a particular key. But I also asked, why don't you play? I have asked them maybe not less than 10 times, Why don't you sing? Why don't you play? Why don't you sing? Why don't you play? Do you know why? Because when you don't have the ear to hear, you see, like when somebody sings something, somebody can sing it immediately. When you don't have it, you will know that you don't have it. So when because I don't have it, when I see people who have it, I am amazed that they don't use it. So I used to go to America and I know this man who has the ear. When he hears you just play like most of these guys have that ear. You just hear them play. So that's when they are singing and say, oh, change the key to C# D flat. They don't know what it means to C# D flat. This is very complex because in musical exams they will ask me to play a scale. The easiest is in C then to D CC there's no then to GG has one sharp, then F has 11 flat. These are the simplest you see. Then you go to D which has two F# and C#. These are the simpler. Then you go to F#, which are everything is in Black Keys, but just as they say, they just change to one whatever. And then the person is playing the same thing in only black notes is they are very, very, very, very gifted. But if you don't know what it means, you don't know that it's a gift that the person is using. So I used to go to America and I see the person with the gifts, something I recognize. And it's like it's nothing to you. It's wonderful. See, when you don't have something and you see somebody has it, then you just find it fantastic when they don't use it. So instead of neglecting your gifts, rise up and take it seriously. Yeah, don't neglect it. Get yourself holy to these things. Neglect not the gift that is in being the small gift that I have small. Look at how I'm trying to use this small gift. Me, me. No, no one saw that I would have a gift. Nobody. True all to when I say people laugh, but I'm not medical school. No one ever chose me. It's in primary. What at various stages of my life in primary school? Well, in class 6 I was a school prefect in JSS as well. Two and three. They were the prefects of the whole. School and then in. Chali Chali I'm blessed to meet a school prefect plus Chali, even ordinary prep prefect I wouldn't get. And which are that prepared again and. Then when I got to precinct first day, I was a gay student, so that eliminates me from vying for school prefect. But there was a lot of pressure to go to SRC president and I think I was shortlisted for 1234. We are 4. But at that point I was in SU as well and I I was doing a few things there. I was in the choir, I was a music director, and then I was, and then at that point I was also involved in the Presbyterian Students Union. I was the president as well. So my dad was like, I was getting involved in too many things and so I'd have to just choose one thing and stick to it. So I remember that they had my school. They wanted me. In fact, they pushed me out of. They wanted me not to SRC presidency, but to vie for the Greater Accra Regional. So I had to learn as one of the things I had to learn so that I mean in in their field in me, I had to learn the. Sally, I'm jealous. I'm jealous. Wow. Music director, president of Presby's students. You know, senior prefect, the whole school. Great. Accra SRC. Wow. So why should such a president not? You seem to have a gift of leadership or even a gift of being chosen. So why don't you use it? I've not been chosen. Wow. All the things that I am the leader of, I formed them myself. Yeah. Like that was a leader. It means that it means I formed it myself. Like Lighthouse or the National Association of Charismatic Churches. I was the leader of that because I formed it myself. All the charismatic churches in Ghana formed an association and there was Ghana Pedicosa Council and I formed my own association of Charismatic Churches and I brought in charismatic. I thought we have a different viewpoint from the Pentecostals. So we formed it, and that I was the leader. Then I handed over. But if I had gone to join, I would never have been chosen for anything for sure. So listen, those of you who have a gift, don't neglect it. What you are. Others don't get it. People are not chosen. And when people have churches, the members in the church choose the person. Yeah. And usually it's like the person is seen to be like, this is an ideal. Like you look, you look gentle. Meditation is going to lead you to microscopic Bible study, isn't it? Isn't it? Yeah #21 give yourself to protecting yourself from evil. Shall he try power to protect yourself. You know when I started talking about backsliding, he says take heed to thyself, huh? And on to the doctrine. Continue in them. OK? So give yourself carefully to guarding your soul from falling away and from evil always. How? How can you protect yourself? What is the best way to secure your destiny? Always think of yourself as average. Never think of yourself as like very special or strong. Don't think that your your life is going to be different. Think of yourself as what I didn't hear you average. When you think of yourself as having like you are normal. What happened to this person can happen to you. What happened to this can happen to you. What happened to this can happen. Think of yourself as normal. When you do that, you always set up your protection properly because you assume that you are normal and therefore if somebody had a bad marriage, you 2 can have a bad marriage. If somebody marries an unbeliever and or a grifface, I care and the person has a problem, you too. When you marry a grifface, I care. It's not that it's going to be OK for you. If somebody is a grifface, I care. Look at what the person has come to and you are going to be grifface, I care. You want to be grifface, I care. Psychedelic Griffe Cycle. Wow is it amazing? You see, an average person thinks that what has happened to this person can happen to me. So I have to take these steps so that what has happened to that person will not happen to me. An average thinking person looks at your father, looks at your mother, looks at people, marriage, everything and says what has happened to them can happen to me. So therefore I have to take every step so that that thing will not be my portion. That is how to protect yourself is to see yourself as happy. But those who think that oh, how death power, what are you doing? Tell me fire to die virtually. How, I mean how And when you look at it, do I look, do I look like I'm dying? I look dead. A five person like me, watch out. How many pounds a backslide? How can I backslide? Do you know how I'm into the holiness code? How can I backslide? Even my beloved is I mean, I've got a supersonic beloved. She's so spiritual.
