16. Why You Must Be A Convincing Preacher

Welcome to track #16 of Mission South Africa. Now finally, as we go out there into bearing fruits, I want everybody to learn one particular thing so that by the time I see you again, you'll be an expert. Wow, Are you ready for that? And that is, I want everybody here to learn how to be a convincing preacher. A Not a preacher, A convincing preacher. A convincing preacher. Like somebody who preaches in such a way that it convinces the people. Wow. Is it fantastic. Yeah. It's a very important homework that I'm leaving you with. Amen. Hallelujah. 2nd Corinthians chapter 5, verse 11. Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men, Amen. But we are made manifest. Hallelujah to God, Amen. We are manifest unto God, and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences. Hallelujah. Now, to persuade means to make somebody comply. In fact, it means to tranquilize somebody. Yeah, tranquilize. To induce someone by words to tranquilize. What does it mean to tranquilize somebody? You almost put him to sleep. It's like you can, you can enchant the person, hypnotize the person. That is the meaning of what Paul was saying. Knowing the terror of the Lord, we persuade men like we can tranquilize and almost hypnotize men and convince them and induce them by our words. Wow, how many are convinced to work for God? As I'm preaching, it means I've tranquilized you. It means I've induced you to accept God's work, even I've induced you to accept suffering. Almost like, it's almost like a joke that yes, we like it, it is good. Think about it. I've been able to convince you to accept, to suffer, to live in another country, to work for God. If this has had an effect. I've been able to persuade you and convince you and induce you with words that I'm speaking. Wow. Not just a believer, a sufferer. Wow. You see, I want everybody here to go out there becoming a convincing preacher and a convincing preacher. You can persuade men when you speak. Not just, but you make them. You tend them. Yeah. You know, sometimes I know that if I speak, I will persuade some people. So sometimes I don't speak. Sometimes I want them to come to their own conclusion because I can say in such a way you'll be tranquilized. Yeah, When I came here I intended to tranquilize you to work for God and induce you by my words to to give yourself to the Lord as a sufferer. And it's working. How many are going to become convincing? Britain? Paul said. Can I have two armed guards? It's late, so we need armed forces pointing this direction. Just keep pointing there. Just keep your lookout. We are ending. This is the last moment of the camp. So, so listen. You cannot, you cannot sleep at this moment. You are, you are being turned not only into a layman working for God, but a convincing preacher. You see, the little girl who was leading us in a worship, she induces us to worship. You know, she induces us to worship. Yeah. She sort of convinces us to flow the worship, By the way, she just worships. It's beautiful. Yeah. And I want you all to be preachers now. Why? Because preaching is the highest profession in the world. Yeah. It's the highest profession in the world, preaching. If if God became a man, don't you think he would do the greatest job? And what job did Jesus do when he came preaching, teaching and healing. So if you can't do anything, I want you to be a good preacher. If you are a lady, I want you to be a good lady preacher. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah, I want to be a good lady preacher. All ladies. You can be a good preacher. You, you, you know, yeah, you can talk, but you have to change it into preaching. You know, I, I I've always wanted to be a good preacher. Apart from everything, I can preach well and convince people so much so that one day I was watching somebody and I realized, you know, that when he cries, he usually cries at the end of his sermon. And I, I felt so moved every time he would do an altar call and also give my life to Christ because he was crying, you see. So I decided that I also want to cry. Now I've been trying to cry for years, but the crying is not coming. But if I could, if I knew what to do to cry, I would cry. Every time I preach, when I reach upon, I'll start crying. Every whoosh is part of the inducement. Tranquilize. Wow, how many want to tranquilize your your followers? Yes, it is the word persuade in the Greek. It means in tranquilize. You can check your, your, your, your dictionary, your Greek words. It's right there. Hallelujah. Is it fantastic? Preaching is the highest profession that there is. That's the profession of the Son of God. That's the profession that God took when he became a man. So which job should I do? This, this this, this, this preaching. And he preached and teach and the whole world was changed from that small preaching as the nearest pastor. Congregations, come and ask your pastors whether they are convincing preachers. Come and ask them, are you, are you a convincing preacher? Come and ask you a convincing preacher, am I convinced? When you preach your style, come and ask. The pastors are in front. I didn't say come and give fans. I said come and ask them, Are you a convincing preacher? Find any pastor and ask him, where are you a convincing preacher? You see, pastor, this is an examination for you. Are you a convincing preacher? And pastors, I will tell you what to tell them. Tell them, if I was such a convincing preacher, would you be here by now? If I was such a convincing preacher, would you be here by now? Wow, 4 reasons why you must be a convincing preacher. Why you must be a convincing preacher #1 because preaching is the highest profession in the whole wide world. Amen is the highest profession. And I want you to be in the highest professor. I don't want you to be a doctor, I want you to be AI am both a doctor and a pastor. But I'm telling you the highest one doctor, I tell you he's just a technician #2 convincing preaching. Convincing preaching attacks the roots of all problems of human beings. Convincing because to go you are. Get ready to go through these points also convincing preaching attacks the roots of all our problems. Yes, preaching, which is it attacks sin. What is the cause of every problem in this world? Sin. What's the cause of sickness? What's the cause of South Africans difficulty in in in apartheid where it was the sin of man? Prejudice, treating your fellow man as an an animal and not giving him a fair chance when you have power over him. You don't give him a fair play, fair chance to do whatever he can do. That you deprive him of education and deprive him of rights and deprive him of that right to choose and deprive him of even the type of school that he could have gone to. You make an entire generation, a group of people into carpenters, nesting domestic workers, security guards. I mean, you force them to be that they have no choice because they have no education. What is the cause of that sin? Sin. What is the cause of sickness? What's the cause of HIV? Fornication and adultery and indiscriminate sex outside God's will? What are the cause of many of the diseases that we are suffering from? All of sin? What the cause of death? The wages of sin is death. Sin is what? Adam and Eve were not dying. No one would have died. You think about it. Why would you create something that will die? You could not have died. God said to Adam in the day that you eat you shall surely die and to God a day is as 1000 years and 1000 years as I do so Adam and Eve and all the people in Genesis 1, all of them lead to just before 1000. Then they died 957-930-2940 like that because when they were getting to the 1000, you've got to go. Have you watched that film? There's a film where there's a timer in the, what is it called In time? You should. It's a Mackinac film. You should watch it. The guy has a time and it's like when when the time finishes, you die. Wow. OK, My God, you can sit down. I tell your neighbor I have decided to be a convincing preacher. Wow. Tranquillising the members speak, inducing them to change their minds. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah #2 your convincing preaching will attack the roots of all the problems. Hallelujah #3 Convincing preaching releases power. Yeah, convincing preaching releases the power of God. Romans 116 He says for the gospel of Jesus Christ. I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the gospel is the power. That is why what I'm saying has power, because preaching has power is not a lecture. It is not a lecture. It is not a summary of poems. It is something powerful. Babo says he sent his web and healed them. When the web goes didn't healing comes into the lives of the people. You are you are going to the under of the problem and you are releasing power into the lives of the people. How many realize that you are changed at this camp? Something has changed. Yeah, even marriages are changed. How many realized that marriages have been taken even though just because some power splashes came onto your marriage? Power splashes, Convincing preaching releases the power of God #4 convincing preaching gives hope. Hope to people, yes many people who come to church are hopeless, fatherless, motherless, hopeless, solutionless, no answers but your convincing preaching. By the time they are going away they are full of hope and they don't even know why they are full of hope. I met with some pastors during the break and they told me we are so having energy for the work. You don't even know why because all that I am preaching has been preached to you and you have even done exams on it before. But preaching gives hope. So suddenly you have hope for the ministry that you are doing that somehow by a power that you don't understand. You shall run over the hurdle and over the barriers that have confined you in the past. Yes, that's there's some tower that is released and some hope that has come into you. And hope is very important. It keeps a man alive. I see you being filled with hope. Obama, he won his election because of hope. Ministry of hope #5 Convincing preaching saves lives. Convincing preaching saves lives. Wow, wow. Convincing preaching saves lives. First Corinthians chapter one verse 21 For after that in the wisdom of God, the world by wisdom knew not God. It please God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe preaching looks like foolishness, but it is what God is using convincing preaching is the method by which God will save people's lives. Keep talking brother, keep preaching. I said keep preaching, keep teaching, keep ministering. It is the power of God that is being with God has chosen preaching as the highest job in this world is preaching. Thank God, thank God it has. God has chosen it amongst all the jobs in the world, have chosen preaching to be the highest and the best. Number six, convincing preaching brings light into people's lives. Light convincing preaching brings light into people's lives. Amen. Convincing, preaching. Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path. Everybody say direction is coming, demons are running away. How many points do you have? Yes. One day I came into my room in the when I was in school. My room was dark and I put on the light. As soon as the light came on, rats started running. Three of them. They were having a field day in my room, having a good time when I had gone out. But when the light came on, they realized that we cannot stay here and and and be doing anything here. This is time to leave the demons that are in your life. When the light comes, when I come with my convincing preaching to you, and I come with convincing preaching, the demons that came into you when you were watching that Nigerian movie or that film on television and pornography picture that has never gone out of your mind since you saw one, they will all go out of you by convincing preachings, convincing preaching, because the light has come on and the demonic rats of your life will start moving. Shu Shu, Shu Shu, Some of you, you realize that your father and mother have a bad marriage and you have received the demon from your mother and some of you boys have received the demon from your father. And you are going to be 10 times worse a father and 10 times worse a wife. Yes. But when the preaching can like I've been preaching, you see that the light comes on. Then the things are going out of there and you are changing and you are no more going to be 10 times worse than your father. That's why people often become worse than their fathers. So I didn't like my father. Never looked at my mind. And I did. And then you, you already have a child here. You start another one here, another one here. You are becoming Wes. Wes. Your children will wish you whenever their father, they will kiss you and say what a terrible man this was, the foolish man that was my father. Yeah, but you used to speak like that about your own father. Yeah, some of you, your mothers, they are good mothers, but they are wicked wives. But you don't know because you are a child. So you experienced the mothering part. You don't know what it's like to be a husband of your mother. You only know what it's like to be a daughter of your mother. But I don't know that your mother is a very wicked woman. Yeah. And you are about to inherit that spirit, a para human spirit from the sea, from the marine world, from the underworld, from the animal Kingdom has entered your soul. But when the light of the world convincing preaching comes and you see that the things say we cannot stay here, there is too much light here, I see you being set free from every power of demons in Jesus name. Tell somebody I'm going to become a convincing preacher. Those sitting down at the back, let me check them out. I'm going to become a convincing preacher. And when I'm preaching, a seed is going. That's why I'm so surprised when I see people. They say, oh, at this camp, I came from a camp and I decided this and that. I have, I hear it all the time because I don't know why, why we are affected by that. It's like the seed. Convincing preaching, tell somebody convincing. Not just preaching, but tranquilizing preaching, tell somebody. Hypnotizing messages. Yeah, hypnotizing messages. May God anoint you with a hypnotistic message. Tranquilizing anointing. My God, you will be a better speaker than Nelson Mandela. Oh, yes. Oh, yes, you will be a better speaker by the anointing of the holy. We don't know what anointing he was using, but you will be by the anointing of the spirit. Yes, people will listen to you more, and they even listen to him. Yeah. Wow, Doctor, take us to the points. Points and can I have the armed. Forces points number one in. Full Battalion. Reasons why you must be a convincing preacher #1 Preaching is the sound. Sound, please. Preaching is the highest profession in the world. Again. Again #2 convincing preaching attacks the roots of all problems. Again. Those are the back. Here here 1 go. All our problems. Why did Bishop Cruzio practice the lay ministry? Why was Bishop Richard a good lay pastor? So let us all repeat that that point again. Paul practiced the lay ministry so that we would follow.
