15. The Bus Ministry

Welcome to track #15 of Lay. Power. And they move them. You see 102 hundred, 300 buses, big ones, bringing people, driven by lay people. Some of them come at dawn the night before Saturday night and they sleep in the church. And at dawn, they take off of the buses and go and pick people from wherever and bring them to the church. You get it? Yeah. So lay people can be involved in the driving of the bus. Number 2, lay people can be involved in the prevention of the misuse of the buses because buses can be misused. You get it before you realize somebody is making it into a business. He's using it as a torture. And you see that now the bus is somewhere where we are not. I mean we are not trying to get anybody from that area and the the bus has. Far. Is far away. You see one day I I was driving behind a certain tipper track and they are written behind it not in case of whatever they are ready. Pray for transport owners. Pray for transport owners, owners of buses. Pray for owners of taxis, owners of hiring cars. Pray for. Them, because they don't know where they are, passes. One day I had a hiring car, a nice hiring car and had a driver. The driver was supposed to report to me every day and bring me sales money, daily sales. One day he didn't come today, tomorrow he didn't come Wednesday, he didn't come Thursday, he didn't come Friday, he didn't come Saturday. He didn't come Sunday. He didn't come Monday. He didn't come the next week. Monday, didn't come Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday. I don't know about how many weeks. It was two or three weeks I have not seen my car. Then one day I was driving around airports. And I saw the car and I said, and I did what we call James Bond U-10 and I chased the car. And I went and apprehended him through a military maneuver and I arrested the driver and the car. And I said I was now debating whether he should follow me or I should follow him. Because I don't know if I'm following before I realize I can't see him. So I said lead the way. We are going to the house. When I got to the house, I said you are under arrest. He said oh why oh why? He said a certain man hired me to lobby Togo. So I went to Togo for two weeks. I've not, I said. You are lying. You see, what is the money? Pray for transport owners. I will not tell you how that story ended, but but that is where I understood when I was driving behind the cannons for the back. Pray for transport owners. Pray for those who are running buses. It's not a small thing. Amen #3 Lycos can be involved in using buses in filling buses, filling, filling. You see, it's one thing to buy the bus, but it's another thing to have people in the bus. You may have the bus. Nobody will come into your bus. Is it not through? You will have the bus, but nobody will be in the bus. And sometimes at the collage you see the bus coming empty or half empty, and you ask yourself, is it worth having this bus coming from that place? And the reason why the bus is empty is because somebody, obviously it has to be a Lycos, is not doing his work. Well, it's true because you can just have the bus, but nobody will go. You don't just go. If right now a bus, a car is parked, doesn't mean you go in the car. So as you can see, bus ministry is something that has to be developed. Amen. Otherwise you have all these cars, all these fuel, all these expenses, all these risk with all these cars on the road and there's no result from it #4. Lycos can be involved in identifying good areas where the Basque Ministry will be effective. Identifying good areas where the bus ministry will be effective. Now, it is not everywhere that a bus is needed. Amen. Some places. Need as many as five buses, whereas some places need as many as 0. There is, yes, and it doesn't help yes, Aveno and they're asking so same because there is a bus that I've seen at my area when I'm coming from, I don't know what that place is called. I don't know the name of that. You see the bus park, they're empty. That shortcut, somewhere in there, you see the buses, they're empty. So I see the bus coming there and you see the Lycosmos in format that look, this place, we have to stop putting a bus there, It's of no use. Whereas some people are crying for more passes. We have to go and power the buses there. 20 passes, 10 passes this place. No, but because that is where it is, it is responding, is it? But when they let people sit down and just say nothing and you are just why don't you speak? Why don't you speak? Do you have a speaking problem? Why don't you help us? You are bereft. Amen. Next one like us can be involved in showing of videos to communities. You see once again the technological thing is coming in showing of videos to groups. Yes, showing of videos and gathering of people. Through showing of videos, you may find out that showing the video is more effective. It's more effective than even your preaching. I mean, I don't know, but it may be a commensa. Is that the case? Is it more effective than your own preaching? Yeah. Because somehow the world has become so different so quickly. People respect things that are on the screen. The fact that you were able to get into the screen means that you are great. Did you get it? It's like we respect somebody who have been able to climb into the TV. But if you come live, say no, no, no, no. You should have come through TV. We would have believed you. Amen. So now the T panel showing Crusades. Yeah. Powerful. So showing of TV program miracle document, you can show the documentary of that one, that guy with a handbag, show documentary of this show, documentary of the different, different programs with miracles and music and so on. The people who gather, they'll watch and say, wow, I said, look, we are taking you to this particular church. It's cheaper than setting up loud speakers, horn speakers, this microphone, this shouting on the thing, and the people are not listening to us. It's true. It's not attractive to them. The calls after the Monday programs are more than all other programs. Yeah, People want miracles. There are no solutions. People want miracles. Miracles. Tell somebody miracles. Miracles. Number six, Lycos can be involved in a bus ministry on weekday programs, for weekday programs, conventions, especially our weekday programs, Weekday Tuesday services, Friday, all nights, Saturday youth service, Lycos can be involved. The buses can be deployed. Hallelujah. So we we can be released. We can have 20 buses, 10 buses in one school, 25 buses in this school, 1 bus in this school. Depending on the response, the people will come in crowds, and crowds will come because Lycos, the common man, the ordinary Christian in the Kodesh, has risen up. Because some people may drive on Sunday, some will drive on Tuesday, some will drive on Saturday, some will drive on Friday. Some will be there to show the video, some will be there to come back up the video. Some will be there to mobilize, organize. I mean, look at the amount of work others are doing all night every day. Is there any rest in this church? When you see the banner, you feel what? Tired. If you don't feel tired when you see the church signboard, you are not yet a worker in the church. Are you listening to me? How many realize that the work is more abundant for more? Are we going to employ people for all these? How can we give you a job to drive the buses on Saturday only and pay you? That means you don't go to work in the hall. We only pay you on Saturday to have 20 drivers to drive 20 buses on Saturdays. Why? I don't understand. And then we have to pay you to fix the video thing to show the presentation. And we have to pay you to clap your hand to organize the people. And we have to pay you to come and inform us that the buses are more important in this area than that area. Oh yeah, my boy. How many are excited about the bus ministry? Amen. And last of all, how many points do you have? Lycos can be involved in live ministration for buses. Pray for people where you have your video presentation. Talking to the people who are coming onto the buses, counseling them, because you can't just put them in buses and not speak to them. You see, there must be a bus conductor and Lycos, who is a bus conductor. We have to get down the name of that job. Bus conductor, Lycos. Bus conductor, Lycos, bus driver, Lycos video man. Do you get it? Yeah, Bus conductor. And all these people are part of the team that are going out there, working through buses and ministering to people like us. Am I giving you enough jobs? Are your jobs more than you can carry? Are you going to do it? Are you sure? Because now it's no more just PVC IO. How many have realized that it's not more just a PBCI RTBE? Amen, RTBE, Amen. So God is taking us to another level in terms of pastoral work, and that is why you are also happy. God uses people who are rejected, who have difficulties, who are failure. The next important, what you call it area of the work is what I call evangelism. Amen. Wow, wow. Now evangelism, there is something that is very, very, very wrong with our evangelism. Did you get it? OK. And so I'm going to give you a few keys to becoming to to move into this next area of the work. Amen. What do you think? Is it a powerful idea? OK. And that's just going to last a few seconds and then we're going to be done. Amen. Who is that? The first step towards evangelism is the burden, the burden of evangelism. In Matthew Chapter 9, verse 36, Bible says. And when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted and were scattered abroad as sheep, having no shepherd. Amen. In Mark chapter 6, verse 34, the Bible says. And when Jesus, when he came out, he saw much people. He saw much people, and he was moved with compassion towards them. Now this is very short but very important because it is, I would say almost a forgotten part of the work of the church. Now the Bible says the Good Shepherd leaves the 99 and looks for the one. So there is no pastor who can tell me that evangelism is not part of his work. So once you are becoming shepherds and pastors, the work of evangelism will always be and is an integral part of a shepherd's work is to evangelize. But a lot of evangelism or so-called evangelism is being done without a burden. You see, you can sense when somebody has a burden. Now, if, for instance, you go to a Doctor Who doesn't care about you, you understand you can easily perish from, I mean, the person's absolute lack of interest in what he's doing for you. It's a fact. It's not just that the person has the qualification, but that the person is not really interested in you. There's a man called Haggai, John Hagar. I think he is. He has only one child. And that child is abnormal. I don't know. The child is dead now. Yeah. And when he describes the story of his only child that he had, who was born completely deformed from a delayed labour and and neglect by this doctor whom he took his children himself to gynecologist, you can see the pain that he experienced. And when he described how the doctor wouldn't come, didn't come when he was supposed to come, I mean, wouldn't do the labour, wouldn't, I mean, take out the baby when it was taken. So, I mean, it's a very difficult story to read, but he he uses to describe what he has been through in this life. A millionaire, that's all that he had for his life. It was children. And I think the child is dead now. But when somebody is looking after you and the person doesn't really care about what will happen to you, it's very different. When somebody's came for you and the person is just thinking about money or the person think about what is really good and what will really help you, they are two different things. And that reality is something that plays out in every professional field. You can have an engineer like some of the engineers who work for us. Sometimes I just walk to the church and I think of the engineers and I said these guys are. Wicked. That's the only thought that occurs to me. Some of the things are so dangerous and so many bad things can happen, but because they don't really care, you understand They are almost killing you because they don't care. They care about their money and their thing and they go when a lawyer doesn't really care, a foolish case will come and he knows that you can never win. You will not win. But because doesn't really care about you, say what? Me, I'm a professional. You say I should go to, I'll take this case and I'll go to court and we'll fight that. He'll be collecting money from you for a long time. You get nothing. That's why even Michael Jackson, his will and the issue, the people just say the lawyers are the ones who are going to rake out all the monies from the family and in the end there'll be very little left. So you always need somebody who has a genuine concern about something. It's like a pastor who doesn't really care about you. Sometimes you go to a church, you see, a wedding is being conducted. The best you say, OK, I'll say after me, I take thee. I take thee to be my whatever husband, to be my whatever husband. From this day forth, we shall be once, OK, after me, I take thee, I take thee whatever that is that you see that I've been at a church, I've seen that before. You see that they are not interested in what they are doing. They don't even know the names of the people. Yes, you can easily take the man as your wife and then somebody's officiating your wedding and you know that the person who's officiating and loves you, has talked to you, cares for you, wants you to be well, and he's praying for you. It's different when the person who has no interest in weather. You take away whatever. OK, Let us pray, O Lord in heaven, we commit this newly married couple into Thy hands, that through Thy perfect graces and through Thy abour hands, Thou, O Lord, may lead them unto eternal peace through Christ. They don't really. They don't really didn't think so. I tell you that's what is the missing ingredients. It's not in our hearts. There's no feeling for souls to be 1 to come to God. It's not true. We have a passion for people maybe to prosper, for our churches to grow, but no passion for people to be saved and not go to hell and to be washed by the blood of Jesus Christ. Yes. And Jesus Christ, Bible says he was moved with compassion. He had some feeling when he saw, that's when he saw the people, you know. So I think that this is what creates a difference. When we set up a small crusade, all of us that have gathered there, it's like we have been told to come, but there is no real feeling of compassion and bedding for the people that they need to be saved. There's nothing like that in US. How many things that what I'm saying is true? Raise up your right hand if you'll be very honest with me. Yes, that's the reality. And the Bible tells us that Jesus was moved. You see, what moves you is what is important. What, what, what, what, what, what, what is what is what is motivating you and pushing you is something pushing you. I mean, you look at the amount of money that we have to spend for a crusade for the people to be staying in Mali, we have to spend about $20,000 every month. I mean there are $20,000 can buy a house. If you don't have have been involved in buying a house that cost $20,000 before and if that was the case then still cost that today. Jesus said of all that the Father has given me, I've lost now Paul had a bed in the Romans chapter 10, verse one. He said, brethren. My heart's design in Romans chapter 10 verse one. Is it not fantabulous and fantastical loss? His heart's desire and prayer is that they might be saved. But in Romans Chapter 9 verse one and verse two, he goes a little further and he says, I say the truth in Christ I lie not, my conscience also bearing me witness in the Holy Ghost. That I have great. Heaviness and continual sorrow in my heart, Amen. For the salvation of the His own people, Amen. That's what he says in Romans Chapter 9, verse 1. Two. Amen. Then he goes on to say, verse 3, I could wish that I myself were accused, separated from Christ for the sake of my brethren and my kinsmen according to the flesh. I wish that even I will even die so that they will know Him. That burden is not in US. It is not. It makes our evangelism look like puppets. I mean, I don't know if it's true, but I had one time I hear President Rollins was saying that some, I think he went to a church or there was a church and the priest was reading his sermon. He was saying that he a politician, he doesn't read his speeches. And you the priest, you are reading to us. He he a politician, he doesn't read what he's coming to say. And that is why I will find it of greater interest to listen to President Rawlins on television than most of the politicians who are reading their speech, because he will put aside his paper and say to Fletcher this and that and that. I'll find it far more interesting. I mean, no matter to no matter what. Yeah, it's more interesting during the last election when when President Rawlins went to Kaswa. Then he came on stage. He started singing. I'm talking about interesting and alive and something that you get the feeling is real from his heart. And even now he's criticizing. Some girl in the office wrote the speech, and they've come to see the first time they've seen it is on the stage, the first time they've ever seen. How can it be something they mean? This evening the lost presence is abundantly felt in our midst. Through His presence and His international blessings, we experience His gracious power and auspicious holiness. That's what I see, people taking pictures, doing things, trying to show a certain glorious glittering picture, which is not true. And that's how we can understand and. Say God sent his holy Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. That through His eternal blood shed through the eternal Spirit on the cross of Calvary, has flowed through the edges for our eternal salvation. These are ways of salvation. But why has the voice changed? When you are speaking those words? Why has your voice changed? That's the question I want you to answer. Why has your voice changed? It's a spiritual. Voice. Why should you have a special voice for spiritual words and another voice for normal words? When you are calling Mr. Jakkum for his debut, that one, your voice has become normal. I am explaining something. It's not that I don't know what to say, or that my preaching, my notes are finished, or that I'm parambulating. No, no, I'm explaining something to you. That what you see Orthodox people doing has happened to us. Not that it's going to happen. It has happened. I tell it has happened to us. We have become just like that. In another way, I'm telling it has happened already. We are talking about a salvation which we, we, we have not the slightest feeling for it. Not that it's going to happen. It has happened. We have. We don't care whether people go to heaven or hell. We do. We. It is not on our table. There's this my concern for you that you may go to hell. Yes. It's not that. What happened to them, They they are fault. We are exactly the same, the same thing. We talk of salvation. Which of our programs can you see the burden for souls? Which soul are you begging for? You just want more people to come to the church. If anything, that is the maximum nearest you can get towards salvation. It's people to join. My church, my Chapel, the. Absence of that. Bedding has made the foundation of our evangelism hollow and it just falls to it doesn't work anymore. That's why you see that a video works more than you preaching because you are not bedding. You don't have any power. There's nothing under it's all just perfect talk. It has no power to save and to drop people. It's true. Are you there? Are you listening to me? Yes and look, I'm I'm about to I'm about to literally move work out of here. Please. So just listen before you fall asleep on me, literally, literally, are you there? We have lost the burden and the loss of that burden is costing us in evangelism. When I come and I preach about evangelism and things that have to do with the blood of Jesus or even salvation. If we talk about salvation, we cannot preach about salvation. It's not even interesting to us. Now in order to go on the next step of evangelism, we are going to have to learn about how about salvation, The topic salvation. That's the second step to evangelism. We are going to have to re study the topic evangelism. I says evangelism, salvation, salvation, salvation has to be re studied. Do you understand? We have to study the topic salvation? Perhaps we have to preach it. See, perhaps it's our preaching room that is actually the cause of this thing. There's no thought about it. When you go to a teacher, you preach about hell. Salvation, Salvation and what it means #3. The third step in our drive for reviving evangelism is the blood of Jesus Christ we are going to have to revive all that we know about the blood of Jesus in particular because the blood of Jesus and the cross, but especially the blood because the cross was the vehicle through which the blood was released, but the. Blood. Of Jesus has got to be studied specially. Amen. Are you with me outside? We are going to have to really study the blood of Jesus and get it into our hearts. What is the blood of Jesus? What does the blood of Jesus do? How does the blood of Jesus work? We have to come back to that place where the blood of Jesus and songs about the blood of Jesus have got a meaning to us again. And in our study of salvation, songs of about salvation have to once again claim the first place in our singing medley and our singing menu and the list of songs that we sing. I mean we see what the song when in the choir sing songs of salvation. There's something missing, John. Is it true? Its not true. Please get up and tell the people they, they don't think I'm, they think I'm just saying something. This is all that. When I'm talking people think I'm joking. Explain it. There's something missing. It is, it is true, like I was thinking about the month of evangelism, which is a month where you know, the Kadesh. Because I can tell that we're not singing it with a certain feeling and understanding and passion that must accompany the song so that it will have a certain effect to the person you're ministering to. So we may sing a hymn like there is a fountain, you know, filled with blood that flows from Emmanuel's vein, you know, So I have to take it line by line and explain and explain and explain and explain. So, Bishop, it's it's true. And anyway you explain it doesn't still work. When we hear it in the church, it doesn't still work. It doesn't have that effect. I don't know what it is that is missing. I wish I knew, but I honestly don't know what exactly. Huh. OK, what is missing? Abandoned is missing. And I think that Bishop, as much as we have tried to emphasize certain things over the years, we cannot also escape from the fact that there's a general message also that that is, that represents the message of the church. You know, even though we have church members where we are telling all the time, there's also the message of the church out there, which I think has drowned out or overshadowed what we've tried to say and maintain. But I, I believe strongly that we can bring that message back. Definitely. I mean, our church members come looking for solutions and sometimes we even jump the hurdle of salvation and look for solutions. And if we can, like Bishop, they are saying we can come back to the cross, the blood salvation. Explain it, because that is the gate through which we entered into the Kingdom. So we ask ourselves, what gate are the people who are entering through? That is what. That is. And where are they headed? It's fantastic. Is it not fantastic? So how many points do you have? I mean, there was that moment I said to myself, God, I don't have this thing that you have. I mean, I didn't feel in my heart that I had. There was a something about the way you were driving. Go. Go and we asked be there to sing the song. Go ye therefore. And the feeling in the whole meeting was so wild. I said to myself, God, there's something in the hat which I don't have. And I began to pray. Then I remembered there was another message a week, which was also another passionate when you preached, there was a point at which I mean, it just ended abruptly and left and there was a feeling and I I felt that. So it was a recently I've been praying for myself actually. And I mean, although I don't go out on evangelism in terms of crusade and every, I just feel that I need that bedding in my own heart, which I believe can affect any other thing that I'm doing. I think that that's perhaps the I don't know whether it's the prayer that brings it all. I don't know what the problem is, honestly. I, I, I don't know. And so I think as a church we are moving away from that character, that message. But I would prefer to be optimistic Bishop and believe that once we get on track again, we will we will come back to the cross, to the blood and believe I the healing Jesus crusades, I mean visions people have seen. I I believe that God even told me at the point that because of that effort, the name of Jesus Christ will even be sustained in this country. That was the day I was praying for the crusade when you were in Salaga and I saw a map of Ghana and I saw a drop of blood dropped from the sky and then stained the map at Salaga. And then I saw drops staining different parts of the country. And God, I believe, told me that he was using the healing Jesus Christ, the crusade. Sorry in your ministry to preserve the name of Jesus Christ, the blood of Jesus Christ in this country, which he loves because other religions have invaded and so the church confronting with the message that can eradicate that are the all the other religions we are saying other things.
