13. Forty Missionaries In The Bible 3

Welcome to track #13 of Why are you not a missionary? To live there is still under Jacob Genesis 35 verse one. Then Jacob then God said to Jacob arise, go up to Bethel and live there Amen. Go up to Bethel and and live there. Hallelujah. So some of the missions, you'll find out that there is an effect that is achieved when you live somewhere which is not achieved when you visit the place. Do you understand? Because living somewhere is quite different from visiting. Do you get it? So sometimes you may visit, you may come for homecoming and have one impression of the church and you may say, wow, it's beautiful, it's so nice. Do you get it? It's powerful, It's nice, it's beautiful, it's wonderful. But when you live there, then you have a different experience. And so part of the missionary, the important missionary work, is the importance of of what? Living there. Amen. What do you think? Is it a powerful thing? Are you ready to live there? Where's Michela? Arif. Come. Arif means come. Sure you didn't learn French? Where's practice? Something different? Come. You visited Ghana for homecoming? Yes. Yes, and now yeah. Did you visit Ghana for homecoming? I did. And now do you live there? I did. I do. So what is the difference? We're expecting something different. And when I came for homecoming, well firstly I came with pounds so I could really go out in cabs and have a lot of fun. And now that I'm living there and I'm living off the local currency, the city. I'm expecting something different. And I mean, were you expecting to live off pounds? Who expected pounds, Anna. Not pounds, not I was expecting pounds, but I when Bishop's always saying expect to be poor, I didn't quite realise exactly what he meant. Yeah. And I think I thought that I'd have a lot of time in Ghana, a lot of time to read my Bible too. I mean, one of the things I was asked when I first came, when I was when I first came, I was asked like, what are you? What have you come to do in Ghana? And I was like to get closer to God, to spend time with God, to read my Bible. And then I realized that it's not quite like that. What expected something different than? And yeah, I, I thought that I would see Bishop all the time, like at the camps. And you know, we'll fellowship and Bishop will speak to us and bring us around all the time and say, girls, you know, I have some messages for you. But. She was suspecting something different and then and then what? It was what happened. Well, I came full time. We had one camp. Well, there was one camp was meant to have last year and we didn't get to have it. So we had like a, a root a root rally where we was watching ADVD. So last year there was no camp. And I mean life, life goes on. But I mean, it's, it's not, it wasn't like as it was in London. I didn't get to have all the camps and be coming around like that. But I'm now trying to do the work. It doesn't finish. I'm still trying. It's it's a different season. It's it's not what I expected. It really isn't, but I'm blessed. Hallelujah. I'm very, very happy. I wouldn't I if I was asked to come back here. I really wouldn't want to come back. I'm very happy. Even though it's different from what you thought. Even though it's different even. Though it's different, you see, That's what I'm trying to explain, why it's Falcon. You see, when you live there, it's different from when you visit now. You thought you were going to have camp, but like, here in the UK, there was no camp last year also. Yeah. And all those camps that we used to have all out, all those things have stopped also here. Yeah, it's true. Yeah. I'm looking forward to a camp in Kenya soon. Very powerful camp. So, I mean, maybe the camp may move some, The cloud may move to another location. Yeah. Falcon arrive. Yeah. What is your experience? Well, like Michaela said, we when we were coming for homecoming, it was definitely different to living there. I've been on a trotro. What is a trotro? What's a trotro? Tell us. I think the best way to describe a chacho is that if your skin isn't touching somebody else's skin, you are not on a chacho. Yeah. And who expected something different than that? What you expected a London bus upstairs and down, double the car bus. Who expected something different than that? What are you expecting? So apart from the, I mean like Michaela said about we when we arrived. Can you give some volume before I I come to knock your head over there? I need a knocker. Can I get a knocker? Locate a knocker. Who is the sound controller there? Bring the sound controller to the front. Give her a last warning, yes. Yeah, like so when we arrived, we thought, of course we're coming to Ghana. This is where God lives. This is where bishops are. Tally and be blessed. God. Oh, God is still there. Bishop is still there, but you don't have time. You. Don't have time? There's work. There's a lot of work. Oh yeah. Over there, we work. That was the first, one of the first comments that was said to us was like, over here, we work. I was like, yeah, yeah. But the work is is a lot. It's a lot. But it's we're blessed doing it. Definitely blessed doing it. Yeah. I'm, I'm Ghana and I'm from Ghana. My, my, my, my Ghana accent. I speak, I speak tree, but it's in Ghana. Yeah, because here in this church we speak English. You know what I'm saying? So. Yeah. So you see, living somewhere is different from visiting. Yeah. And like when we say we work all that there is work. You may not know or understand or believe it when Jacob the laws arise, go up to Betha and live there. I didn't write the Bible. I'm reading it to you. Arise, go up and live there. So living somewhere, even I'll say even the ability to live somewhere. There's some people you send them, they don't have the ability to adapt to stay there. It's like you are there. You want to eat this? Want to eat that? I need my McDonald's. I need my. I know a certain missionary. He went on a mission and he went to stay in somebody's house. Every day he was frying hamburgers, hamburgers, hamburgers, hamburgers. Look, if you come to Ghana and want to have fry hamburgers, we have it. Or everything is in Ghana, only that your money will get finished soon. We have is everything in Ghana. Everything. Everything is in Ghana, everything Pizza, Chinese burgers, everything Indian Ornando's, everything is. But it's true, your money will be finished so. But it's not the same thing here. If you go, your life is Nandos, days, days, days, days, days, whatever you see. So you see it, it actually tests something about you. You see living somewhere. It brings out some character. My mother, my mother to my mother is from Switzerland. She said that. I mean, she's come to Ghana. She eats what is in Ghana all these years. And she said one thing she's known about Ghanaians, we are very fussy about food. I don't eat this, I don't eat this. I know she is from somewhere. She eats everything. That's what she, that's what she said to me. That's what the Ghanaians admit. I don't eat food. I don't eat this, I don't eat KK, I don't eat this, I don't eat that. We are like that, have a lot of that. She eats food. She's everything, everything. But she's been a mission since 1963. She's been in Ghana and she's still there floating. It tests something where you live, the roads you drive on, the people that you meet. If you don't like people, you can never be happy in a country because everybody you'll find. And you start to say these Ghanaians, these canyons, these canyons, you see, then it shows that something the Bible says that. And Jacob noticed that Laban's attitude was no longer the same as it was. You see, it was no longer friendly. Yeah, attitude has changed. You've got to be able to stay there. I remember when my children were growing up, some of somebody would have an argument that my children go to this American school and that I said my child is a founder of a school. There was a school in the near near in our area where somebody wanted to start a nursery school and put a sign board, starting social. And so Ambassador's school, and I sent my son there. He was the first founder of the school. Yeah, Of the school, the first child, only one person in the school. Yeah. Listen, my child goes to what? American school? If you try to do things in a way you can't stay there. It's true. You want to live, even to live. Where will you live? In Ghana? I tell you, we have places that are like America. I will take you there. Very, very posh places. Yeah, we have. Is it not true everything is in Ghana? Everything. Everything's in Ghana. Everything. You, you would not believe it. Every and everything is in every country now. There's everything in Uganda. Yeah, there's everything in Uganda. There's everything in Nairobi. Yeah, everything is everywhere. So it shows your contentment. Contentment is one of dissatisfaction. You see somebody like, but so you said what? They look always unhappy and the face. We are sacred eyes and one of the things in full time ministry is the ability to be happy. You have to always feel that you are blessed. You have to think of a blessing. Like I tell this story, you may have heard me say, but I'll say 100 more times. I was in a restaurant with my wife in London, the center of London somewhere. And as we sat down to eat, I said, let us pray. And I said, oh God, thank you for what we are about to receive. Thank you for the opportunity to come to London. What a blessing and the opportunity you have obeyed for us to come here to London to sit here. We are coming to eat. We thank you in Jesus. Amen. When I helped my wife shoot my eyes, she was looking at me. I said why? She said you are cute. I said, ah, what do you mean by I am cute? She said the way you pray as if you have never been to London before. When I open my eyes, I said, Who expected some other prayer? She was expecting another kind of prayer. Oh, God, thanks for this, for this food, something we have been having all the time. I'm grateful. But I've been to London before. I've lived here before I was born here. This, I mean London is where I was born yes. But you, you, you pray and we are, we are grateful for every little thing that you have. Because you see like the girls are saying, do you see him? You could say, oh the camps, we are not having those nice camp that we used to have because we were few. We're not, you know like how you are. Plenty here, 40 people, 203040 I mean, we're always together. Very nice little camps we used to have. But you see as you are there saying that, oh, I thought that having those, that those camps are finished also here. I don't know what is coming there. And today you are standing here with me. We have gone here, Atlanta, Miami. We are now in London. I don't know where we are going next, but you see, you may not know, but as you keep that complaining and this another, all those things, you see, it is in somebody said well, our house, but which house were you before? You are in London then where you are staying in London, they urinating the lifts, they urinating the you are staying in the poorest parts, the poorest parts of life. You have always. We don't have money, that is all right. We are living in God. We are sacrificing, we are sacrificing. We are sacrificing Shelly. That's why God says go and live there. Let me see what you say. Let me see how you talk, whether you'll be happy there. It's true. Disgruntled, discontented, so such people that when I see Beth, I say please go back, I'll pay your ticket. Everything. Once I applause somebody she was talking to, I said. I beg you. Here is job pay for the next two years. Take it and go. I said go, Go, go, go. Don't come. I beg you. I can't. I don't want to spoil somebody's life. I've never. God didn't call me to spoil people. So if I'm spoiling your life, go. I'll be the first to fly you out when I see that you are. You cannot stay. Yeah, and that's the way you have. There are some wives, I tell you, they are always discontent. I sent one visionary. You see, the wives are always just like she's coming to fight himself. And it makes the pastor's work so difficult. But some why they are so fluent. One of these very fluid wives is Matilda, Pastor Ben's wife. Ben, This thing. Yeah, she's just flowing everywhere. She will come and start something and do something, organize something. It's like she was in my office the other day. She said, OK, you said we should leave Kinshasa. We are flowing. Well, she has got a job now UN so we are we are ready everywhere. We just do this and do this and this. We are going. These are the flowing people that you want. You said the person somewhere said the person is flowing. That's why I don't say why live there. Let's see what will happen to you when you live there. Let's see what will happen to you. Like Abraham, when they say go here, go here, go here, go. Don't know where you are going. You wouldn't. Just as a Bishop, can you make up your mind or you tell me I was led when I sent you here, but I was not led when I sent you there. Then, then, then perhaps I was not led when I appointed you as a pastor. But that one, I didn't pray about it. I guess so, No, let's appoint this pastor. So that one it is a mistake. Yeah, everybody, I tell you that experience. That is why we I don't I I don't want to involve myself in transporting somebody to anywhere to come and be anything, anywhere. You want to work for God, come live. Let us see. Can you? Yeah, I should. I should carry you from here to where? One day I sent a certain brother to Rwanda. Do you know his comment? Bishop doesn't like me. Yeah, Bishop doesn't like me. I sent it to Rwanda. I said I don't like you. Bishop doesn't like me, that is why I sent me to Rwanda. Oh, but today he is there, Floyd and happy. I have sent many people who have felt I don't like them because I sent them and where I send them to. Maybe I can mention their name. 1234 and you see them today gloriously ordained and adored in their in their where they are. But a commander of an army. You don't have to look at people's faces when you are saying that you just close yourself. Go, go. I don't like you, you go, you take it. I don't like you. Go. Then later when they become glorified, they will be given when they are introducing. I thank God for Bishop when he sent me here as are you. One day I went to a certain church. The pastor was introducing me and he said oh, when Bishop sent me here, this is so when I came I said please when I sent him here, he thought I didn't like him. I said it class, don't stand there and make I said, you know when he said I should go, then I came and this it wasn't like that because it was a stop me sending it was as Tommy sending it was in your head. I didn't like you. That's why I sent you here. But now that you are glorified whatever and you see that old Bishop, In fact you were led, you were led, you were led your mouth like left your mouth like left. So you see, the girls are surviving at least to live. You see that is that is, that is, that is an achievement, I'm telling you. Yeah. And when you send somebody and the person is not always look, this place is like this. This place says it smells. The rule is that one day I was driving to you see my house. When I go to my house, the car that you bring, if you are coming to visit me in my house and somebody says he's bringing you to my house, ask instead. I want to see something in the car before you sit in it. So what it is, you have to go inside the car and look up to see whether there's that thing that you can hold here. Otherwise your head will break the glasses. So make sure you check whether that thing, there's one in the car that you can hold like this. But I don't notice it when I'm going to my house. I'm happy, I like it, I'm blessed. I just rock a lot. Rockabye baby. Yeah, Rockabye baby. Every car that I have, I test it fully. So all those who make, they can see me if I drive their car to see whether it's a good car because of where I pass every daily, not once in allocations daily so that it's a good car because it can go up and down. There's so much dust. Please, there's dust in Ghana. Don't come. We have dust. That's where we are. We are in dust. We live in dust. Yeah, more. It's working. Very tasty. You know, my shirts are becoming brown. Come back to England immediately, swiftly and suddenly return back. Can't live there. So a brown shirt and then you're looking. Huh. Yeah, I tell you, if if God is going to use you, things are never going to be clear like that for you to do his work. So took everything is I mean perfect. Things have worked out, this has worked out. This has worked out, this has worked out. Sometimes you have to press eject button and you just come out of the plane. It's like I'm out of this thing. Yeah. And that's where we talk of swiftly and suddenly, yeah, people come out because one of the things that people sometimes think that problem will get better, then I can obey the law. But sometimes the problem gets deeper, more complex. Seniors multiply. Financial difficulties increase. Deaths multiply, but Gideon is an example of somebody who came out of the trouble to follow his mission in the laws. Have I not sent you? So, brothers and sisters, you must accept the Lord's sending to your life. You may not be perfect sexually, morally. Do you understand? I'm not saying that you should do something wrong, but I'm saying that you may not have been successful. So successful, Juicy. But sometimes you are not successful morally because you are in the wrong place. Yeah. You'll be surprised to know that sometimes when you move to the right place, you can do better there. Sometimes marriage, so I have to sort out with my husband and my wife. There's too much confusion in the house stress. But you'll be surprised that on the mission field, in fact, I've been told by many, many missionaries that we were very happy on the mission. I actually have some missionaries when I said that their marriage became so much better because they were just together. I don't know whatever, but one message I said all our marriage, we have never had a good marriage as we have had on this particular assignment. Yeah. My, this pastor who just died, his wife was telling me is that we work together in the village. Everybody knows us. Together we go, yeah, for women. You like something like that. You know what? We are working together. A1 GG Hey, people will be asking what are those where A1 GG what is GG, What is A1? You said no, being an agent, I cannot give you all the information, classify special assignments. So keep waiting. One of the greatest things I tell you all through life, you will have trouble. All through your life there will be trouble. All through life mark it somewhere that's a you shall rise up before the grey headed and honor the agent. I am the Lord to never end. Even on the mission field there will always be something you are struggling about. So if you are waiting for the perfecto. My father had a horse called Correcto Perfecto correct or perfect? If you are waiting, you just said all these troubles I can God send me too many problems. What has he sent me? And the Lord looked upon him and said, Go in this diamond, thou shalt save Israel. My Lord, I cannot even save my own marriage. Huh. Oh Lord, why is all this befallen us? Where be his miracles? Where are the miracles? Where are the blessings of the Lord? Amen. But I see you going forth. There is somebody here. Today there's trouble, but tomorrow it will be clearer. Even as you obey Him, in the midst of your trouble you shall be like Gideon. Suddenly you become known and important and famous because you obeyed the Lord and went out even in the midst of your troubles. Receive it in the name of Jesus. Amen. Number 52 spies. 2 spies. The two spies that Joshua sent on a mission to Canaan to secretly view the land, especially Jericho. If you remember Moses sent to our spine, but Joshua realized that it's not the numbers is their quality. So he reduced the 12 to 2. And in Joshua chapter 2, the Bible says then Joshua the son of Nan sent two men as spies secretly from shitting saying go. So these are what arrows, missiles. That's envoys, errand boys, devotees, propagandists, promoters, saying go Herald, Herald Habinga, bringing news, go and view the land, especially Jericho. So they went and came into the House of a harlot whose name was Rehab, and they lodged there. Amen. So 2 spies were special envoys sent by the Lord to go and do this great work, Amen. How many are ready to keep out of the two spies to sometimes some people are sent in the mission just to spy just to spy the land. Sometimes you see, that is why I want to say something that there are several churches we have had they there were people like Kenya is working now, but there were people that were there before, you see. And those people through those people we discovered things about Kenya. So those people become like the spies who went to find out through their lives and their experiences. We had a church before in Nigeria. We had somebody who was there. So these people become like the spies of the ministry. So sometimes we have had efforts like Mexico, we have had some people going there. So we have found out more things about Mexico. But these spies did not take the land. They came and made us know about the land. When they went and they came back, we now knew more things about that place and what not to do and what to do. So you may see that. So it's a failed mission. No, they were not sent there to go and take the land because you could not take that, those two, but could not ever take the land. It will take a greater force to take the land. But by the time these two envoys go and come and we know everything about what we need to know. So today, because we have sent spies to Mexico, is it Mexico? Where are those people who went? You've been Marcella and others have been there as spies have come back. Now we know more about Mexico, we have more information, more way how to be there, this and that and so many things. So we are getting more ready, Sha Elba as Bolara to enter with strength. It's true. South America, we have gone there. Is he 1-2 scamming come back in and out. I can show you several churches which today are working. When we started it never worked, but then we got to know more about it. Gabon, we have had pastors of purposes who have been deported several times from Gabon only. Gabon, Senegal. We have started a church there twice with two sets of missionaries and pulled out twice. Yeah, I pulled out twice when they started in the car. Then after come back, we had chairs, we had everything. We calmed down, then started again after some years. Now I know something more about that car in Senegal. I'm not discourage you. I'm not discouraged at all. This is our work and we are not here to impress anybody. You see people, you must not be thinking about impressing people when you come back as A2 Spice. So what did you achieve? So what did you do? Were you able to open one gate? Did you do this? Did you do that? What did you do? Oh no, don't talk that way. As spy goes to bring information. Rambo, have you watched Rambo? When he was going, they gave him a camera. They said take pictures and come back. Want information His his mission was to take photographs and he said photographs. I should just take pictures and come am IA photographer, a live photographer. Wow, wow. We've sent some people to Hungary, to Czechoslovakia, to Poland. We know more about this is so when you are being selling with the left today they say we should go to Czechos, then next time they say we should go here, then let's you see you are you are you are you are your attitude, you are not understanding the work. But as you see the different kinds of missions that people go on, some short term is to discover through and all through as we are sending mission, we will always have mission. You go, you may come. I think I've done nothing. No, you've done something, you've done something, you've done something great for the Lord. Amen. Number six, I've given you 5. I think it's OK out of the 40.
