Welcome to track #12 of Mission South Africa Why suffering is good for you Why suffering is good for you Suffering is good for you because it makes God happy when he sees that you are suffering sometimes, yes, it makes God happy when he sees that you are suffering. Wow. Suffering is good for you because God is happy sometimes when you are experiencing suffering. He's glad. Every parent is happy when his spoiled child is suffering. Isaiah 53 verse 10 It pleased the Lord to bruise him. He has put him to grief. It pleased the Lord to bruise him. It pleased the Lord, It pleased the Lord to bruise him. Isaiah 53 talking about Jesus Christ. It pleased God was happy. It pleased the Lord to bruise him. Pleasing God was pleasing even me. If I see you South African sitting in some baths in South Africa. When I my guys came for the crusade and they were in Liberia, they said there was no light. Who are they? It was Kaola, who, Mcivan and so on. I saw them in Liberia suffering. There's no places very hot, no light. What else was no what again? We ate potato creams, like the potato, they give you the top and the white people take the bottle. And you were eating that one in Liberia? And one day I was bathing and as I was bathing, I looked into the water. Then I saw I saw movement in the water and I was wondering what's happening. As I looked closely, I realized that there were some small animals. So when I heard, I was very happy. It please the Lord. I'm happy. I'm happy to see you, see, because I I feel happy that it's like he's being trained in hardness and in the realities. I'm not sad that he he was battling with words. I'm happy. Happy. Is that the right way? Happy. Yeah, I'm happy. I like it. I feel, I feel when I see him, I feel he's more of a man. I feel closer to him. I'm happy it's time to been to Liberia. When I say Liberia, which other country did you go to? Yeah, I was in Guinea all. These towns we when you saw in the film, you were there. Zeroko re masenta GE du kisi dugu kindia who I was there. Are you aware? Sierra Leone, McKinney and Bo. Well, McKinney. I was in McKinney. And Bo. I was in Bo. Bo is where we found out that we'll be driving 15 days back to Accra. You drove how many days? 14 days, 14 days. Sometimes we'll be so busy during the day you can't eat. There's no time to eat. Then the middle of the night, round 12 please, will come. Can't eat chicken or meat. Where? Where do we get the meat? You have to go look for meat. Come there, eat together. Midnight. You are now looking for forgetting eating the whole day. I'm I'm happy. Happy. How many are also happy? Yeah, yeah, it's true. That's that's the point that I'm making, that even though suffering, it looks like it's something bad. Even you sitting here, you are happy about that He's back, he's back with worms. You're happy that he's experienced that, that he's been to all these towns in countries. It is, it is again a privilege to, to, to see other places. When you come back, South Africa, you understand South Africa better. You can thank God. Well, now why you don't have it. You have glaucoma, spiritual glaucoma. Your fields, your visual fields are small. Everybody do this and you see, you can't see the people on this side only see just in front of you. That's what happened with glaucoma. I need this myopia to be just even down, bend down. So when we say that God is happy that you suffer, people don't understand it. But if I just give you one example, you see, wow, very good. So sometimes your children, when when my children were going to secondary school, I bought this. I knew they were going to suffer, but I was happy because when I tell them make your bed do this, they don't listen to me. I said, something is coming and to make you obey. Yeah, somebody tells, oh, your children are very well trained. I just smiled to myself. I know something that trained them because I could have sent my children to American school. Here's school. This is doing this. And I said no, go to the normal school that everybody goes to. Yeah, Be there with ordinary people. Don't mix with rich people. Just be ordinary and be a normal person. It's better. I prefer and later on, because you, you have the strength to let your child suffer. Your child is better than if he was never experienced any suffering. When you meet the children of rich people who have never suffered, you will be amazed at their behaviour. Yeah, they can disappear with thousands of dollars. They can misuse school fees, go to school. They will not go to the school. You think they are in the school, but they are not in the school doing every fast thing you can imagine. Very wild. So God allows us. So some of you, you know, just finish the suffering quickly. Don't struggle because some of you are struggling. Marriage, your husband is there power steering is still not working when it when it touches you like that also, who is that? Who can it be? You have still not yielded and become flowing because your ego and your pride and something is is not get dead. But you see that when women get older, they they become more humble. You know, they just it's like, oh, if even somebody will didn't have sex with me, nobody even likes me. Yeah, nobody even likes me. Somebody will even touch me for somebody we didn't have an erection when he sees me that my stomach has joined with my up here and I've become one bottle. I've become a tank coke straight and my neck has joined with my body. When you are young, if you feel there's something a small hole that God has given you a lot of negotiation and discussion over that small hole. When women get older 80, then somebody will like you. Look at how you are wrinkled. Your stomach is like a bag of water. You will not even get somebody to like you. You, you, you see that something is not dead. Even marriage. You cannot do well, just ordinary marriage in the house. You cannot do well to to sacrifice so that you don't have a bad face and you smile and you be pleasant. You can't even sacrifice and change that one. And what can you do for God? What can you do for God? Oh, you don't understand my question. Yeah, there is nothing that you just flew. You can't sit in a camp, Then where can you go? You can't sit in an African bus. We have real African bus, not this one that you have real African buses walking. You can't walk distances. We bat with brown water all through. When I was in Guinea, I was batting with brown water, but I bat with brown water when I see the water is brown totally. And I bath, pour the water myself. I bath brown color. Brown. Yeah. Otherwise, I can't go another crusade there. That's the water that is there. I cannot carry my bathroom water with me. Yeah. There's nowhere to stay. I stay in the room anywhere they they can get. I stay in the room. They get to any place, anywhere. There's no hotel. If you have a certain way, you can't do much of the work of God. It will be cut out from you. And that's why it's like here in South Africa, you see, you are cut out, so you have to come in and to bear the fruit the seed must die. So the one of the main things is the dying part of you. You can go these places there. There's no international hotel or even 20th century buildings. When we have this crusade, sometimes I have to sleep in the car. On this Guinea Crusade, one of the days I slept in the car. The mosquitoes, the mosquitoes go outside. Whatever you be in the car, you just stay in the car and sleep. After you finish, we wake up and we go. We brush, We find a rubbish dam to brush our teeth. If we have toothbrush, whatever it is, then we go. We continue without. We don't bath. You sleep and you keep moving. You can't do even your natural life. You don't like bathing, so when God tells you to work for Him and there is a day that you don't bat, then suddenly you start to develop all sorts as if you like batting so much. You don't like bathing. Now when God sends you to a place where there is not water, master bath. Then you start to talk plenty. It shows your hypocrisy. A woman you should have bathed the whole day you have been whewing, smelling, doing things. You come with all those things you don't bath. Morning to you not bath and your husband has to come and experience this smelly Bush. Tell the nearest lady seems to have been identified. Sit down. Hey, somebody is not happy over there. Oh, why? Why? Why is she not happy? I ask her why she is not happy? Why? Why are you not happy? Let her answer, let her answer before. Why are you not happy when I'm preaching the truth? Just give some warning shots and leave them all right? So now, can you sense that God is preparing you to bear fruits by suffering? Are you getting ready to suffer? Are you a believer? Are you a sufferer? Can you do it? Yeah. And a lot of our suffering, you see, that hypocrisy prevents us from flowing with the sacrifice. The very thing you are being asked is that you do it, but in another way. Yeah, you don't Normally when the time comes back, you know, back, it has become a, a meeting #2 Suffering is good for you because it makes you perfect or mature. Mature. So I, I, I will say that Kahelo is more mature because he has been to suffer in Guinea and Sierra Leone and all those places. You definitely be more mature as you have just been enjoying Johannesburg, Pretoria. I have to take you to bourgeoisie and to Kitty Krachi to live in a place where the, the, the, the money they used they, they used batter, the batter system. You give me a fish and I give you soap. In Ghana, butter, yes, today, in Ghana today you can buy fish with the soup. I give you plantain, I get red oil. I give you plantain, give me oil I give you. They give offerings of groundnuts and eggs as offering. There's no swiping there, there's no credit card. There's not even money before. Not what they say. What We have seen it practically in our crusades. I can show you one crusade where we saw that. If you are interested, I'll show you. You want to see. Some people said no. Look, get me a bucket next session. I want a bucket. Some people take these guns as toys. So now we are moving into bombs, rear grenades, bombs. I need 2 buckets the next session. You will bath here. You will be surprised. Hebrews, chapter 2, verse 10. It becomes Him. It became Him for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings. Amen. And it became him. Are you there for whom are all things, and by whom are all things? You see, in bringing many sons to glory, that's what's happening here. Many sons are being brought to glory to make the captain. If you want to be a captain, if you want to be a real mature captain, he says to make the captain of their salvation. Perfect through sufferings. Amen. Perfect through what sufferings? So be a captain, Peter, give me one of these chairs. So be a captain. They must be made mature. They can't be a captain if they are not mature. Amen. You can't be a captain if you are not mature and to be made perfect. But perfect is mature. The way to become perfect is by suffering. So when you see an older person is less hasty to take decisions, especially about judgement, he will become because of what he himself has suffered, he will not quickly rule out somebody. When you are not mature, you easily pass judgement. But when you are mature because of what you yourself have suffered, you are. You are. You notice a certain calmness in the way as you approach the judge. You know that there there will be some reason to not be quick to pass judgments or to execute. You see, in Ghana we had a revolution in 1979 and a young officer in the in the Air Force rose up and said we were suffering. In Ghana people are suffering and the truth is that what was happening then, it's what is happening now and I'm sure it's happening in South Africa as well. And the people are looting, becoming richer, taking whatever they can and the ordinary people are going down and there are no jobs, no work, there's crime, there's every bad thing. I don't know if it's happening in South Africa, but that was what was happening in Ghana. What percentage? Unemployment, 39% unemployed. So 40% of the country doesn't have anything to do. It's very dangerous. So when he came he said all members of parliament should be arrested and my father, all what? All generals, My father had stood for elections and had lost the elections. If he had won the elections he would have been a member of Par. He was second. If he had won the election he would have been a member of parliament. So I remember when they called for all members of Parliament to report to the nearest politician, all of them were arrested, including Bishop Obi's mother. She was a member of Parliament. So she was put in prison. Every, you know, in Parliament you will go to prison and then all generals in the army, all the heads of the army, everybody was put in prison. And if you are head of state, before you are arrested, we have 3 heads of state and they charged them. They said, look, we are suffering in this country. You can. Can you imagine if there's a revolution here? They pick up your past presidents and your current one, put them in prison, put them on trial, and next week, Thursday, they execute them, shoot them. That's what happened in Ghana. But the man who came to do was 29 years old, very young. Yeah, he was 29 years old. He arrested them. He said you people are thieves who are destroying the country, which is what is happening. Vampires, he called them, vampires like drinking the blood of the nation. Caught all of them, all the big men. All the big men are a lot of them are thieves, caught all of them, He put he allowed them to go on television to defend themselves. You see the former president was sitting there being injured. He said I've done nothing wrong. I don't I'm innocent. He was executed either the next day or a few days later. They executed them on television. It was a little man out by the beach. They gave them white shorts and white shirt, and they were taken to a church to pray for them from the church. Some they were, Some of them were shaking. They carried them on their arms like this. They were shaking people, people. They were not being very old terminals, generals, heads of states carried to the firing squad, you see. But later on, years later, that same person was not likely to do that again because your own, you yourself will be in the government and you what the ask. Ghana has been ruled by this very people. Things have not gotten much better. There's still stealing, looting. Obvious now obvious. Recently some people bought chickens. Billions of CDs or dollars. Millions of dollars of chickens, which are not there. There's no chicken. Guinea fowls. Fantastic. We have we. You can't even even believe the stories. Plant trees that are not there. Judgment are given. Payments are made for roads that have never existed, millions dollars. Now you see, when you get older, you will not be so quick to pass judgment. So when you are a pastor and you have been around for some years since somebody has fallen to say somebody has done this, this has happened, you will not be quick to say. You are young, that's why you are saying how how like that if you are older, you you will even know that the person rather who has fallen into that problem may rather be the person who is even being immunized by God. You understand by immunize like he's he's having an experience so that he will not have another experience. Like even the only way that God can even show him how to keep him in on the way. Oh yeah. You even know that is his immunization. That is even the grace of God. That was even that one at that point. Yeah. And you really know, you know that there are reasons why people do things which are not so easy to see. So you have experienced 1. Yeah, it's true. So Sada, my husband slapped me. If you have been married before, you will know that some people deserve to be slapped. Yes, you will understand it at least and even as a pastor when you share it, you will even be laughing in your head and say it's good for you. But you may not slap yours but you will be taking deep inside that. Be quiet, it's nothing. Why not? You slap, it's not bad, but when you are new, how how some women's words are more than slaps. Yes, it is more than a slap, more than 100 slaps. Look, when you kill a cartoon, whether you drowned it, you poisoned it, you did it was killing. So you can kill somebody with your words. When we are preaching about loyalties, you know about words. There are men who are emasculated in their houses because of the wealth of their wife. Emasculated, You don't understand. Emasculated. Their masculinity is removed. They are made into women. I don't believe in hating or slapping, but occasionally, when it happens, sometimes you look and you see that. Wow, I don't believe in people leaving their wives sometimes. You see, you see, there are people you do something. You know. One time I met a husband. The the, the, the he said he's leaving his wife. He said he's leaving. I'm leaving. I said no, don't leave your wife. I've, I had several meetings with him to convince him, but the reason he said he's leaving is my wife is Ruth insults me. You say occasionally you meet somebody who wouldn't take it and you say I can't take it. I can't. So, ladies, you should pray you don't go the wrong. You may do something. You see that? This one, it doesn't. Yeah. One lady, she, she, she saw something in her husband's pocket and she said, oh, you see, I've caught you that he was having something to do with another lady. From that day, the husband didn't talk to her. It's about 2017 years now. That's it. I don't like that. I don't like, I don't like, like these people who check in your phone, call you, why do you talk to this person? They said, I don't like it. From that day, the child told me said 2017 years, no talking ever. Never speak to the wife again after today in the house. So occasionally. I'm not saying you should do that though, but I'm saying that if you don't take care and you get a person whose hands are free, you'll be talking. Well, no, no, no, in the handle. Just come out like that. So in your rudeness and your things, be careful. There are some people you can be rude to them and they'll just be quiet even though we even cry. Yes, a lot of this is the a lot of you just you just be quiet and just cry. Can you believe what my wife said to me? You don't know what it's like. Yeah, that's that's how somebody will react. Another person you will be talking. He will not cry. Oh, he will not cry. He will not cry at all. The hand is shaking. The hand has got us some epilepsy in second. So you should watch the hands when you are being rude. See whether the hand is in the pocket. Where is the hand? Nobody should go and nobody should go and hit your wife. Don't start any new. When we went to the camp, they told us that we can beat our wife. Who is that? Who was that at the back there? I look at there, put there at the back there there, fire them. OK, sit down. I am explaining something. I am telling you that when you are mature, you will be careful in passing judgment on things. You hear when somebody you hear that somebody has left his marriage. You will not jump to how? Yeah. Why? You will be cool. Let's pray about and pray for myself. Pray for yourself that God will help me. I will stay forever in my marriage. I will always be faithful by the grace of God. Yeah, but you you become cooler. You are, you are, you are. You are not mature. You are not mature, You are not mature. A man is a man before he's a man of God. He's a man, a real man. And then of God before he's of God. Originally he's a man and a woman. It's a woman before she's of God. Yeah. I know women preachers who travel just here and here they are going 10 suitcases. I mean, from here to here for one day, 10 suitcases. Yes, But a woman is a woman before she's of God. Yeah. I never restrict my my wife on this. I I want her to go shopping and all this all this woman because a woman is a woman because she's on board, because she's on board. And now the ladies are giving me some. Why is it that the other preaching you are not giving me fast I that fire Adam, fire Adam. You see the other messages the ladies were not giving me fast I that they were quiet. And this one they started shouting. It's an accusation. It's an accusation that it's like now I'm a man of God. It's like now I'm a good, I'm a good. It is an accusation against me. You are accusing me, isn't it? Fire them, fire them, fire them. When I was, when I was talking about the slapping, that while they were not shouting that I was a man, when I said the shopping, I was a man of both. They now want to buy the message. It's like the camp is starting now. So people said the camp is now starting now I'm talking here. I don't accept your clapping in your pants at all. It's not an accusation. We are here to analyse what you are saying. We are analysing your responses. Since I started preaching at this car, I've never had such a response of clapping from sisters. OK, you see, I'm trying to control the the armed men, but they are becoming uncontrollable. But they can see what is happening. They themselves can feel the accusations against their father. The ranks have taken over the camp. The ranks have taken over the camp. Ranks. Please come back. The ranks have taken over the camp. Listen, I heard one woman of God was travelling with her hairdresser, with her hairdresser. She goes not only with 10 suitcases, but with a hairdresser, sometimes 2 hairdressers. But I was not surprised. Some time ago I would have said what? What a waste. What type of woman this is, That isn't it? But when you are mature, you know that look, it's a woman before she is of God, it's a woman. Look at this people. If you are a good husband, you must buy your wife Brazilian hair. You must buy your wife Brazilian hair. If you are a good husband, you must invest in your wife's hair. You cannot have a wife without Brazilian hair and wigs and special things for the hair and the face. What type of husband are you? I told my wife, I said go and buy Brazilian hair. I will buy any, any type of hair for you. Go and buy from Chile, Brazil, Peru, Guatemala and Argentina. I will buy all, but I will bring the bill, bring the I will pay whatever the price. What? Look at your wife's head. You see there's no hair. The head looks like a groundnut. It looks like peanut. What is the use of a wife without hair? The head has become like a doughnut. Any man who restricts your wife from shopping. You are an oppressor. You are an oppressor, Yeah. Yeah, you are an oppressor. Your house is like an oppressive regime and there must be a regime change. How can a woman be happy without shopping? Some of you? Your wise faces are twisted because they are not free when you are not mature. When you are not mature, you will think that those things are frivolous and vexatious and unnecessary, but they are not, because everybody has what makes him or her happy. Yeah, and you don't have to understand the happiness of somebody. So if the man also becomes happy through sex, you don't have to understand it. None. Hallelujah. So suffering makes you mature. When you are staying in your house and your wife looks morose, melancholy, depressed, and when she is able to go and even do window shopping, she is happy. And you realize out of maturity that going to look at things and coming back makes them happy. You will always be sending them. Go or I'll go with you. I'll stay here. I'll drive you there. I'll wait for you. Yeah. And you want a one husband so. Everybody and what makes you happy and nobody must be restricted. So after this camp I expect to see change. All husbands go and look for Brazilian hair. Buy your wife 3 weeks and her so that she she has more than enough when she moves ahead. Wow #3 you people, I'm preaching about suffering. Oh, as we are jumping here #3 suffering is good for you because it makes you obedient. Amen. One day somebody received the news from the hospital that he was going to die, and immediately his response was to send an offering to Healing Jesus Crusade. Yeah. When he sent the offering of thousands of dollars, I called. I said no, don't give this money, you need money for medicine. And I tried to convince him not to give the money, but he said no, I have to do it. I was supposed to do it. Suffering brings your mind to the things you are supposed to have done, whether you like it or not. Even if you feel sick, you start to think about things in a different way. I don't know about you, but for me it happens if I if I don't feel well, I start to think about so many things. Yeah, you start to think about so many things. Wow. The Bible says Jesus Christ, Hebrews 5 verse 7, it says He learnt obedience by the things which he suffered. Amen. So God wants you to experience suffering. Hebrews 5 verse 8. He learnt obedience through the things that he suffered. Amen #4 Suffering is good for you because it makes you closer to the right people. It makes you closer to the right people. Yeah. Spoiled children have not suffered anything. So when you have a group of spoiled children together, they are in a bad group. But where you are in your, your children are with other fellow children who have suffered and suffer. They are in the right company. So suffering unites people into groups. Black South Africa was united because of the suffering and the apartheid. After apartheid is gone, I'm sure you are more divided. Suffering makes you close to the right people who you are supposed to be close to or it makes you close to others who are experiencing the same suffering. That is why when I said something about the women, all women who have been suffering and the oppressors started shouting together in unison. And when I said something for the brothers who had been suffering because of negotiations for that small hole that is over guarded, all the brothers who have been experiencing the same suffering started shouting together because they are united by their experiences of suffering. So if you become a missionary or you even travel outside South Africa and experience what it is like to be international and to understand other cultures and other people, you become closer to other people who are also international. If you start a church and you suffer the shame of raising money, you become closer to somebody who also raises money for no other bad purpose than for the work of God. Are you listening to me? Yeah. So going through certain things, you will soon see that you are in a club. So almost every problem has a fellowship. There is a fellowship of this group, fellowship of this or association of this, association of fellow sufferers of certain problems. We have Association of Down syndrome, Association of Breast Cancer Association in Ghana. We have association of unemployed graduates, like graduates of the university who don't have jobs. There's an association, yeah, they finish university and they don't have any, any work to do. They form a group association of unemployed graduates. It's common. That particular type of suffering is common. So, so God wants you to suffer because when you suffer certain things, you're going to come much closer to Christ. Well Christ there, he came to suffer. So you are far from Christ because you have rejected any form of suffering, even you suffer in another way. And when you accept suffering, you just become closer to the Lord. So you take Bishop Clufio, he was a nice lay pastor here. He used to sacrifice travelling from Pretoria to where is it with Bank Pam Blanda Pamblanga. He used to travel to Pambulanga, Planga Klanga. He used to travel 80 kilometers to and 80 kilometers back every day, every day. But you see, there was still a distance between him and me. There was a river and that river is that I have given up everything to give myself to the ministry, not just driving 80 kilometers. It's the difference between driving 80 kilometers for some years and giving up everything. So when he said he was now wanting to be in full time ministry and it's not about him becoming an employee of the church where before he used to be an employee of South African Medical Department of Health. And then you change employment to Lighthouse Chapel International. No, no, no, that's not a sacrifice. That is not a, it's not a river I crossed. So I said to him, brother, go to Ethiopia, go. There's no question. There's no other. If you are to get a certain place to join a certain group, you must give up everything and whatever it, whatever will imply for you, your children, they didn't go. Some people will go. They don't, their wives don't come. Some people will go. And then your wife, your children are in school here. So those in Ethiopia, their children not go to school. I've sent people, they say I don't want my child to be brought up over there. And so they, they return from the mission field. Your children that you have put through it as well. It's also part of the whole thing and your wife and your family. That's why your wife should be here. Have you sent a message that I'm asking of her? What did she say? She has not yet responded. That is why God will stretch out His hand to you and invite you. Come, take up your cross and follow me. I want you to be like me, close to me. Take your cross. I have a cross. We all carry crosses. So come carry your cross. Hold your iPad. Let me borrow your iPad. I'm also following my cross. Take your cross. Everybody wants an iPad. Take your cross. And and then we all go together. And we are all following together, isn't it? They are all following together. Together, Together. Together. Yeah. OK. Go back with your crosses. Now supposing I take up my cross and I've taken my cross and I'm following and then people without crosses join people without cross happy holding their handbags and their cameras, taking pictures, no cross. They are having a good time. Is it a right fellowship? When I turn, I will say, oh, who are these? Turn away are your crosses. No cross. I can't be close to you. You don't have a cross. How is your cameras? You are tourists. You are tourists with cameras. I'm holding a cross. I'm dying. You are holding cameras. Having having a good time when I have taken my cross. You wouldn't take your cross. That's why we cannot be close and that's what keeps you far further from God. When you take up your cross, you partake of the fellowship of His sufferings. You join and become a group. Look in medical school and you become close to your mates because of the pressure and the discussions that we have. My classmates from medical school, I cannot forget them. My friends, you just remember a group that suffered together. We just suffered together. I mean, I can never forget them. Yeah, my friends. Even if I don't see them, you know, you just remember all of them. Well, we suffered real suffering in the school. Wow. Are you excited about the word of God today? Is it fantastic? Is it marvelous? I know it's past your breakfast time, but I don't really care. You think I'm not aware? I'm not aware of the time. I'm I'm completely aware of the time. I have. I have watched it. I have the watch. I have watch on my iPad. I have everything. I know the time in so many players. I know the time in Ghana, I know the time in Kuala Lumpur. I know the time in Copenhagen, Chicago, London, Germany, Malaysia. I know the time everywhere. You are becoming mature. God is happy with us. Wow, you're excited. Look at somebody smiling at me. She's smiling thanks to the nearest smiling person. And see if she's smiling. I say. I see you. Philippians chapter 3, verse 10. That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings be made conformable, I want to be made conformable. I want to be like Him in His death unto his death. I want to be confirmed unto not his glory, but his death, that I may know Him, that I may know Him and the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of suffering. Suffering fellowship means fellows in a ship. That's where that word comes from. Fellows together in one issue, Fellows in a ship. All right #5 God wants you to experience suffering because of the glory that is going to follow. We are going to have more bishops. South Africa. Look, I will be the happiest person to consecrate the first South African Bishop of Lighthouse. Shop not Bishop living in South Africa and South African blood Bishop in South Africa. You, you make me happy. I will become I. I don't know what I will even do to myself. It will happen. It will happen in Jesus name. Wow, Isn't that fantastic? Is it powerful? Yeah. And. And it's going to happen because of their glory. Glory is going to come into our lives. Amen. First Pita chapter one, verse 11, searching what or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ was which was in them to signify, when it testified beforehand, the sufferings of Christ and the glory that should follow, Glory that should follow, glory that should follow, glory that should follow sufferings and glory that should follow suffering and glory that should follow. Sufferings and glory that should follow. Glory follows suffering. When you see suffering going down the road, keep standing. Glory is on his way, going to follow. When you see suffering at the traffic light, stand at that same traffic light. Glory is on the way. He will soon be right at the same traffic light. Glory follows suffering and the glory that should follow. Yeah. If you come to Ghana, you become established, you become trained, you become whatever you go out on the mission field, you come back and glow. Whatever you experience that is suffering, glory will follow. It says that and the glory that should follow the sufferings and the glory that is to put follow the sufferings. Do you know today I don't know how much corn beef, corn meat is. I have prospects so much that I don't know the price. At that time, I used to sit with my wife and we, we, we put together, put together. And she, my wife is a very good cook. Yeah, she she can cook and you'll be happy. My wife is not a boy. Some of you, some of you girls are boys. So when you marry them, it's like 2 boys in the house. Can't cook, Won't cook, Can't cook. So she she would cook corned beef Stew. I loved it. These days I don't like it because I they've changed the corned beef. It's something else in it. I don't know whether they use the hoofs or the eyes or what to mix the brains and everything. They are very wicked people doing their thing. If any animal they see, they just mince it and add it when they test in England, you know. Oh, it's not, it's not a it's not a meter at all. God has blessed this woman and I don't, I didn't even know that it's fourteen runs. Wow. What a blessing. And I don't know how much petrol costs. Yeah, yeah, I don't also don't know how much it costs. Yeah, it's a blessing for me. I use these things to, to, to see that glory has come. Yeah, I, I'm telling you, I'm not, I'm not joking. I I say calculated, but it's like I don't calculate. Somebody would rather bring a curtain of corned beef to the house. And I just passed by it. 2 curtains. Corned beef I used to calculate yes to buy one and sit down and be served on Sunday special. Sunday best can't be stewed and rice not pap. Everybody is a king of kings in his house, a lot of lots in his garden and a master of ceremonies in his bedroom. So. Wow, glory, when you see if suffering comes through the curtain and runs this way, I better come. Let's say you are suffering. No, no, don't come to me. What language do you speak? Run this way out of the room. You see this is suffering going. After some few seconds glory will be seen running glory. Anytime you see suffering passing by, suffering passing by this way. If you see suffering passing by this way, just keep waiting, keep watching, and then you suddenly see glory. Glory follows suffering. I said glory follows suffering. Glory follows suffering. Glory follows. Beauty follows suffering. Glory follows. That's why glory is a girl and suffering is a boy. Our beauty follows wow, something nice. Something nice follows the suffering. Something nice follows the suffering. Wow, glory follows suffering. That's why it's good to suffer, because it's a sign that something good, something good is going to happen to you. Hallelujah. Wow. Ah. Put it on the stage. No, I'll use the whole bucket. Oh, yeah, yeah. No. Put it here. I hope I will not need more than two. We have higher levels of bombs #7 God wants you to experience suffering because it makes you humble. Job 4134. Satan is a king over all the children of pride mess. This verse was given to me by Archbishop Duncan Williams. He told me he said Satan is the king of all the children of pride. So I asked what verse is that? I said it is in Job and so is the king. Anybody who is proud, your king is Satan, Leviathan, the Marine spirit. So God allows us to experience suffering, to drive out some of the pride in US. Pride is revealed in stubbornness and not listening. Somebody who doesn't listen is proud. Somebody who is stubborn, difficult to change, difficult to yield is pride. All those things are pride. It's all pride. Somebody who answers back when you say, the person says, when I say, you say, when I say, you say, when I say, and we have a lot of it in marriage. When I say, you say, when I say, you say and make a comment, say something sharp. You are looking at me. You don't understand what I'm saying, right? People who are stubborn, answering back, not listening, not changing quickly, They are all signs of pride. People who make comments I am, I have, I, I I will, me, I. I is pride. I is for God, we is for human beings, human beings. We say we, we are, we will, we say. I am, I am, I have, I have, I am. You are nothing. Who are you? Check your your eye and your who. You are nothing, so we must. This pride is innate and it's invisible. And because it is invisible, you get it. Because it is invisible, when it is there, you don't see it. So it's the symptoms of it that you see. Unforgiveness is a sign of pride. Unforgiveness position consciousness. I am pastor. I am reverend, I am Bishop, I am whatever is pride. All these things in US, God is trying to flush them out. I am important. I can't run, you know, like we are at a camp. You can't run. If I say run here, it's like you can't run. It's like you are too big for for something. You get what I'm saying? Like you are too big to be fired on. We are just playing with you. But you are. You are. It's like you are, you are. It's like, I mean, what is this? You have not been to a conference like this before. There's not been to a conference like this before. And I've not seen a conference like this on television before. With five guns and buckets. Are we children? It's because of your bigness. So you see, that Lighthouse has a lot of young people. And one thing is because bigness is not so comfortably fitting in here. You see, when you see me, you you may think I was just born recently, but I'm over 50. Yeah. And I behaved younger than some of you, 32 years. You have become like some, I mean giants of giants. You cannot move. Maybe you cannot have sex, sweetheart. Wow. Satan is the king of all the children of pride and and God gives us suffering to just calm us down. You know, you know that you are nothing. Yeah, you will see that you are nothing. No, he's forgiven. Brother. Stand up. Let me pray for you to get a new phone. Stand up. What phone is that? Hey, this is a modern phone. Take another picture, quiet and listen to the the phone. It's very powerful. Is it the same sound? Keep us the original. Where are the armed forces? Quiet. Defence sound fire. You are deceived. Us. We have wasted our time on you. Tell your neighbor are you too big for this camp meeting? Are you? Are you are you too big? I. Deuteronomy chapter 8, verse 2. You found some big people. OK, just you keep. I'll. I'll come there. You just wait. Check Deuteronomy chapter 8 verse 2 quickly. And thou shalt remember all the way which the Lord thy God LED thee these 40 years in the wilderness to humble thee, to humble thee, to humble thee. He's brought you through this way to humble you. That's all. Amen. Wow, to humble you, make you cool, isn't it? What do you think, huh? Make you just come. So when you see cornfields, when you are going back, please look. You see on the fields the corn that are mature and bearing fruits, they are all bent over like this. And the young ones which are not mature and don't have fruit, they are all vertical like this. So when you are full of fruits and mature and have suffered, you just you are bent over like this, you are cool, but when you are young without fruits, you are just talk to me like that. Who do you think you are when you are full of fruits? When you go, when you are going, don't forget to look on the fields. People who bear fruit are humble, bent over like this. All the those who have no fruits. Upright strong argumentative answering back have a reason for everything have a cancellation of my preaching in your heads when I preach something you have a a a a reverse where to cancel the things that I'm saying. I don't think there are women are this a man and this what do you think? How can we when you are when you are paying fruits, you are heavy laden with fruits, you are cool. And when you are heavy laden with fruit you when they when they call you, they shout in yes, yes. When you have no fruit. What? What nonsense. When you have suffered before and you see somebody falling into sin and say look at it in the very we have caught the person you see where over here we saw them. OK, you leave it. I'll come. All right, No problem. It's falling, isn't it? OK, I'll come and pray. I'm praying I'll sort it out. You leave it to me. But when you are young. What? Hey, look, you see you have been suffered. That's why you are going to behead somebody and kill people after killing them. You see another group who come up and do the same thing. Are you going to kill all, Are you going to wipe out all your members? Are you going to wipe out all the people God has given you because of the mistakes they are making? Some of them and they really turn around though some of most people's life, most people's life is not straight home. It's like it's like a curve, like a road. So when you meet the person here, you see that he's standing here, but we are going here. But it's just you just caught him at this corner that he looks this way, but he's just about to go round and come right here and maybe there will be another cab again. And then before I realize it's going straight. So be humble. God leads us through wilderness ambulance and just take away our me, me. If you are humble and you even receive a slap, you say I deserve it. But if you receive a slap. Tiger, tell somebody let's be humble so that we don't need more sufferings to humble us. Hallelujah. Stand to your feet, everybody. Wow. Tell somebody I'm ready for whatever is coming. Tell Neva I'm ready to supper. I don't know about you. Tell Neva I don't even need breakfast. I don't need lunch. I don't need sleep. I don't need anything. I don't need air conditioning. I don't need anything. I'm ready to supper. How many of you realise that we are getting to the end of our camp? Yeah. We just have one or two more sessions that we are done. So there's not much time. That's why sometimes we stay longer. You know there's an answer. It's not because we are just confused. You get it. There are reasons for things. Amen. Tell somebody I'm, you know, I'm going to bear fruits. I tell you in Jesus name. Now we are going to take a break now and come back very, very quickly because we're going to take another break at 4:00. It's 1. So we're going to take a short break now, maximum of one hour. We shall be back, Amen. And then we are going to have a session from 2:00 to 4:00, I believe, Am I right? And then there will be another longer break, Amen. Are you with me? So you need to comply, otherwise you'll be here at the wrong time. At that time there, there will be a break time. That's where are you going? What? How? OK, OK, come back Father, thank you for this time, for teaching us to bear fruits and teaching us ready to be ready to suffer for your sake. We are grateful Lord, we praise you Father, and we thank you in Jesus mighty name, Amen. Now listen, sit down for a moment and take out an offering. If your offering was being used to buy food for me to eat and you didn't give the offering and it means when the offering was taken I couldn't get lunch, will you be happy with that? That is how it is sometimes. Maybe I'm pimpish to you and it's like you're going to take an offering. That offering will be used to buy lunch for me to eat. It's like you didn't give the offering and I'm I'm unable to have lunch or breakfast. After preaching to you for hours and solving marital problems, financial problems, every kind of life problem from the house to the garden to the bedroom, I've given you your honorary titles. And then it's time to give an offering so the pastor can eat. And it's like, no, no, no, don't eat. We are going with our food, with our money. Everybody take out a good offering. I hope you understand what I'm saying. Take out a good offering, it's a blessing to you in Jesus name, Amen. When we come back or either one come back or maybe in the evening session, we are going to have and enjoy healing Jesus more films, Amen. How many have been enjoying the films? And I'm going to ask all of us to make a special pledge gift to help Healing Jesus Crusade to start in South Africa. We are going to give our offering in Rans, our pledges in rans. It's going to stay in South Africa. It's going to be used to pay for the crusade to be here in Rans. Amen. Is it powerful? Remember that our camp is almost over. We have two sessions more and then we are finished this afternoon and then the evening. So that's it. So don't, don't. So I'm outside, I'm going here, I'm going here, I'm going shopping. And please, we didn't come here for shopping. We came here for the camp. So make sure that you are back here in exactly an hour because we don't have much time to play with. All right, OK, Lift your offering up. Father, thanks for this offering we are receiving in Jesus name, Amen.
