Welcome to track #12 of the powers of a cross. So my first message was, everybody has a different cross. OK, Now this one is the wisdom of the cross. Now, I'm saying here that the preaching of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved, it's the power. OK, so when God asks you to give up something, OK, or to lose something to the world, you see, it's foolishness. But is it? To a Christian, it is power. Yeah. Power is released in your life through the cross. Yeah. A power that has not been there. Juicy comes now. That's what you lack. Many of us lack power helping us as you work in your finances here and as you live here, as you live wherever you are. What you lack is some extra power to help you. You don't have it because no cross. Nothing to suffer, nothing to lose. And you see, that's what releases certain power. So as soon as a certain power is released in your life, you know, you imagine if there's some more power, power to back you, power in your finances. Now people think that it's the opposite. That's why you know when I say the word of the cross is foolishness. But it's power. I find more power when I talk about the cross. I find more power when I talk about the cross. I find more power released. I find that I am more powerful at a crusade. I find that there's more power in my life, my ministry, financially, in every way through the cross. Yeah, it's interesting. But you see, it looks weak, like you think that the church is going to reduce who is doing who is fiddling with the volume here. Don't fiddle with it. Please. Give it at that level. OK? That's why I don't have to shout right now. I find there's more power available for everything through sacrifice, which looks foolish. When Jesus was going to the cross, this disciple Peter said don't go. And it's it's common sense. That's why I say that it's foolishness. So everything with a cross looks foolish. You have to wake up early to pray. Do you understand? When you are tired, it's foolishness. When you have to walk around to pray, it looks foolish. You have to fast. It's foolish. Everything looks foolish. Do you get it? Yeah. If you have to go as a missionary, are you, are you crazy that it brings power? So for you and for me, there is power in sacrifice and there's power in the cross. There's power in giving money, sacrificial, giving houses, giving cars. There's power. There's power to those who are not saved. It's foolishness. So back to you who are saved, Cross means power. Always remember, cross means power. Cross means power. Power is coming. Power is being released. Yeah, cross means power, power, power. See, that is why the church today, generally speaking, is weak. It has a lot of money in that it has ever had before. Do you see the power to change the life of the people in the church is almost 0? Because today, if you want to get married to a virgin, it's not necessarily the church that you look for. Because in the church, in many churches, people just have sex. It's like normal, it's not anything. Do you get it? Because we can't control ourselves. We have not been told that you're going to suffer and not experience the sexual. Whatever you want to experience, you can't, just can't, that's all. No, no, it's not coming on. We don't have that. Don't drink. No, you don't say that. We drink a little. Don't smoke. So why smoking the moderation, everything there's a new modified version. There's nothing said. Don't do this, don't do this. All is said, you are going to be the next whatever. These are the keys to success. These are the keys to motivation, money, how to be this rate successful. It's going to be abundance. But all this, all that, and all those things are true, you see, but it doesn't bring power, power to change your life. It's not there. So the life of the people are not changed. If you are looking for crooks, you can equally find them in the church. Thieves, you can find them in the church. Liars, you can find them in the church. Divorce, you find in the church. There's not. I mean, it's like, why should I? Why should I stay with this witch? Because some people are difficult to marry? Because it's true and and and. In a marriage situation, you find depending on who has power, that person torments the other depending on who has the power. Every marriage power rests with one party unless you wrest the power from the person. Do you understand what I'm saying? In every marriage, there's power in, in one hand usually, right? You have to try to distribute the power equally. So everybody has power in, in an and when you are married to an unbeliever, the power rests with the unbeliever because if you are married, if a lady are married to an unbeliever, he wants to do anything they do, they do, they don't care. Oh, just go la, find somebody la they do whatever they want to do. And so when you see the church Christian wives who are married to unbeliever, they are very humble, very because they know that their husband is uncontrollable. Oh, yeah, just go out. Just go and do whatever. You talk too much. Oh, in Christian mind, we have two types. The very spiritual they have, Christians are not so committed. They don't care. Also, they are little, like unbelievers. I was telling the story one time of a certain guy in a church. His wife was worrying him every time she said that he's fooling a girl. I don't like it. I don't like what you are doing. One day he said no more and he left her and then he married somebody else and a new one in mind started to do the same thing. So he called when I passed and said this is exactly what the first one was doing. It's the same thing. So when you are married to a Christian who is not so committed, you have to be a bit careful because they can also become like unbelievers and suddenly they see that they've changed their mind. Now when you have a very committed down on the power rest with the woman, I mean, yeah, because especially if you are in the ministry, so but you are in the ministry. So like one, one wife said to her husband, you go and commit fornication, you are going to destroy your ministry. You destroy your work, your job will get sport. So you have to be always, they will be. They are the powers. But there's always saying you can't do this, this da da, because you are going to have the problem if the people see that we are quarreling you, you are the man of God. You are the man going to preach. You appreciate about love you are preaching about love and there's no love or if the the woman is the one in the ministry and the husband is there whatever then the other way the the unspirit, not even unspiritual, but the one who has something to lose is down and the one who apparently has less or not not so much to lose is and torments the other. So in most high profile marriages, Christian, when you go into it, you'll be surprised. That's all that I found. One after the other. One day I'll write a book and tell some stories one after the other. You will not believe what's going on. Yeah, one person said to me, He said I sit there. My wife would come up and smile. I said, wow, I really love my husband and we have such a happy this, this. He said he'll be sitting there saying you are a liar, you liar, liar. And the presentation for the church is very fantastic. I've seen it several times in several situations. God has given me the period of talking to several high from different different countries. I'm always surprised you can't believe when you're here. But I realize that the man is under torment that if you do, I'll come and say your ministry will get spoiled. I don't know how I got into that LA. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Power back to power. So there is power. Yeah. And I was saying that people don't want to divorce. People want just divorce to come out. No, But you find out that Christians have no power to stay and tolerate nonsense and the cross gives you power. Tolerate rubbish, not to change things, but to tolerate, accommodate, accept, flow, smile, be happy and be in love. It's only the cross that will give you such power. One pastor, he was discussing with his friends and he was telling them what he has experienced. And they said, ah, they don't say it cannot be true. It cannot be true because they said to himself, the way you are flowing, it can never be true. And they say, no, you are experiencing flow, experience and you flow. But that's that's the cross. That's the way. Yeah. So there's power for it is written. I will destroy the wisdom of the wise and the cleverness of the clever. I will set aside, where is the wise man? Where is the scribe? Where is the debater of this age? Has God not made foolish the wisdom of the world? God has decided to make the wisdom of the world foolishness through the cross. In other words, he is going to bless so much people through their sacrifice that the wisdom of the world of never sacrifice and never losing and never giving up anything and always doing things your own way and never changing anything for God is going to be shown to be foolishness. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But those who seem to sacrifice, he's going to demonstrate that they rather look great, will become greater. Oh, yeah. I mean, when I didn't look at my life, I mean, the things I'm doing, the places I'm going, the life that I have. I mean, you think about the people that are secretaries to be. I have so many of them, bank managers, lawyers, medical doctors, all of them. They just work for me. They're like servants. And I have my own classmate here. I don't think he has even somebody to iron his shirt. Think about that. He cannot even employ somebody to iron his shirt or to wash his car. We are doing different jobs. I've given up what he has. He has held onto it tightly. Yeah, he's held it and I've dashed it and when I dash he look foolish. I got us 10, the whole thing. Yeah, I have employees in 50 countries. I have a hospital. I only have my own little clinic, and I employ specialists. The next specialist is arriving from America in June to come and work for me. The other day she sent me a text. I'm looking forward to working for you. Yeah, I mean, the Super specialist who have specialized, super specialized in America are coming to join. That would make it the third specialist, apart from the 8 or 12 doctors who work for me full time. Oh yeah, Goodness of hospitals is it not is it is it that God going to your cleverness going to make it foolish and show that my cross is very wise. Turn everything upside down and he will do it even more as we are going on. Yeah, he will show. That's why even these guys, you stand up, you and you to stand up. You see these guys they should tell us the truth. All of you interview them after church. So that rather the life that they have is different. But you see, that's what I'm saying. You can't advertise it because it's as if we are trying to say that come and get a better house, come and get a better life, come get money, come and get car. You see, So we, we don't, we can't say those things. But if you go behind us, I say, if you laugh something, you know the length and depth, you start to look for the length of the day. The devil. Let's get into the thing. And so God is turning the the wisdom and the cleverness, It's turning round. It's opposite. Like those who ran to hold have lost it, and those who does it have got it. God is doing it by his power. Yeah, yeah, yeah. It's wonderful and amazing. You know, when I said people like I spoke to Irene yesterday and she was saying thank you, Thank you. There is there is nothing I can compare with this experience of having come to mind because I'm I need them in a craft. Ask them to come. You see me. I can, I can call people say come my mother, I need her. I need her to work with me. I need some work that I need her to do. So I said come, hey, a lawyer. I said come, go. I said come, It's OK. We are packing. Yeah. Come. This one should come. Say thank you. This thing that we've done, there is nothing like it in the world to be a missionary. It's amazing. So that would they would they do not be angry with me. But they are so happy. You went to Madagascar. You saw Julian? Yeah. You try and remove them from these places after they have gone. If you don't take care, they will turn against you. It's marvelous, you know. So God has decided he's going to show that his wisdom, which is the wisdom of the cross, is powerful more than any other human adventure. Going to demonstrate it. Yeah. No, I have people that work for me. They don't have any job or any prescribed job. The only work is to do with me. I mean, I have so many things around me. I have at least three people like that. The work that they do is just related to me. They don't have that. I'm in charge of this department or this department. No, no, just it revolves around whatever I'm doing. Yeah, there's so much to do. Yeah, it's amazing. Apart from my house helps those, I mean, my house, yeah. Iron my shirt for me. It's amazing. Me rather. I said I've given up this. So he's going to demonstrate it. It's fantastic. Thank you. Gentlemen. Are you there? Are you there for since in the wisdom of God the world verse 21 through his wisdom did not come to know God, God was well pleased that through the foolishness of the message priest to save those who believe what message is this the message of the cross. You can't know God through your efforts. You can't prosper through your efforts. You can't. You have to know God by a foolish thing. That's the door that he has placed to know God. You come to court through apparent foolishness of a cross. A holy man, a good man, a righteous man die on a cross. And that's the way to know God. Any other way to be nice, to be humble, to be good, to pay money, to give things all that cannot. And God is going to demonstrate and, and that's the saddest part. Eternity is going to show, you know, that's the difficult part. By eternity, all good people will be sent to hell except those who have taken the cross. I tell you, good people will be good people will be drowned in hell. Very kind people, compassionate people, lovers of orphans, of cripples, of blind, inventors of things that help. Medical doctors, professors, kind men, workers or people, relief workers, orphanage worker, refugee worker, inventors of organizations that help the poor. And they will all be sent to hell. They have to only embrace the cross. Sounds real foolish, man. But you see, all your righteousness cannot make up. That's right. Look, one day I was with one pastor, you know, and he was, we were driving. I said to him, come, let's go, let's go to Kumar. Value only 5 minutes, even with your mentor or with your pastor, even it's 5 minutes, especially 5 unusual minutes and usual moments, relaxation, different time value. Walk from here to here and in 5 minutes value it, it's different. So I said to him, come, I'm going to Kumasi from my crowd to Kumasi, 5 hours drive. And I said I want you to come with me when we get to Kumasi, take your bus and come back just so that we can talk. You get it. I have meetings when I'm, I talk when I'm driving, when I'm moving. I don't like sitting in our room to talk. I like to be moving, doing something. So most of my very important meetings, we'll be holding hands. I'll be working here. And so that you are being transferred as I'm working with you here. So we drove to Kumasi and I told him, listen, you know, he was so sacrificial, he does everything. Even now he's still very sacrificial, Pastor, Big Daddy, very sacrificial. So I said to you, you know something, you are trying to compensate for not working for God. All these extra things you are doing, when I call you leave his work, he'll go here, he'll do this. I said you are compensating for not. You are doing so much extra. The extra I'm doing cannot earn you. I cannot enter heaven nor have a good place because of my writing. But I know myself. I know myself. If I'm honest, I know myself. I can't take anything to heaven. Just put the cross, the blood, forgiveness, mercy, my last prayer before I die, if I have a chance to pray me, Father, forgive me and all the men of God, they all pray for forgiveness. John Cavie said I am sorry for my mistakes, John Wesley, all of them. You, you, you sense the fear because you are, you know yourself. How many know yourself. Raise your hand if you know yourself. If you know yourself, la, raise your hand, la, what are you taking to heaven? What have you done, please? What have you done? What have you not done, my friend? Don't think about that. So we are going to heaven by the cross, by the blood. Billy Graham said something. I will not enter one day. I hope to enter heaven. I will not enter heaven because I have preached to thousands of people and millions of people. I hope to enter heaven because of the blood of Jesus that was shed for me. That is how he hopes to enter heaven. Just like you and just like me. That is a normal person. And we all know ourselves. How many have bad thoughts sometimes? How many would not like your thoughts to be projected in spite of the fact that you are serving God? You see how you are. You know yourself. What do you think? Is it true? It is true, True LA. Tell somebody this true LA So, so so I said stop compensating now. I was a bit surprised, you know, sometimes, sometimes you you surprised you talk to people and they change immediately. He changed immediately and he resigned. He just came to be in full time ministry. Some people talk, they don't listen, they talk and talk. You do every bend down you show you bring frog and no, no change LA. Then recently his father died. Recently his father died. So we went for the funeral and he wrote in his tribute, you know, and he when he started reading his tribute, you know, he started he started crying. Then he had to stop. He said thank you for everything in his tribute, for everything that you did for me, provided you did this. He said I want to thank you for one thing, the one greatest thing that you did, which was to allow me to work for God full time. This is what I want. And he started crying and they came for the microphone for him. Just one thing that you allowed me because he has a good father. The good father. They know when my dream, something that is foolish they won is I want to thank you up in those mountains. He said, I want to thank you. This one thing that you allowed me to work for God full time. And he started crying and they came for the might. Oh yeah, it's the highest blessing. But you see, he turned away from compensating today. God is telling you, turn away from compensating for disobedience and give yourself when you lose you you would rather gain. Don't even think of the gain and just accept to lose. Don't look at somebody like Peter Lucas when he saw the big cross that they were bringing. So which crosses? It's a toy cross. You have a toy cross. I have a real cross. Oh, thank you for allowing me to work. Thank you. Thank you, Thank you. Just that one thing. Oh, yeah, It's amazing. It's just fantastic. It's the look, if you like, see if you're going to die now, it's the only one thing, Doctor. Like you're going to die now. There will be only one thing. You you'll be thanked. Only one. The church. That's all. It's the one thing. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. He worked for God. You did stuff. Everything else would just turn into nothing. Recently. I wasn't well, eh, I was thinking I'm not going to die La So you know, actually, so when you are not well and you are you are feeling, you know, you can have all kinds of thoughts that this, this is it. And I was thinking of so many things, but as I was thinking the whole I was so sick and I said, you know, the everything's useless, everything's useless. And I was thinking of some things I want to do, especially a particular book that I want to write that I have been written. I'm writing it now. I was thinking of my Bible school that I really want to build before I go. It's very important to me that school. I see when you when you start to fade, it's useless. Everything is useless. Only one thing. What do you think, huh? So stop compensating. Give yourself Marcella, OK? Give yourself to Jesus. Die for Jesus, give up for Jesus. Don't compensate. Don't do that. And you see, when you come to the cross, your good works are even fewer. The cross is the thing. Oh yeah, these people are compensating. We will work harder for God and those of us who are not compensating, but we, we are just trusting the cross. What it tells you to do is OK. You do it. Yeah. You know, recently one of my cross bearing had to give up the Kodesh. That's my church. You know when you have church pastor, you like your church. Not easy to give your church away. It's a very difficult experience. You you look at the whole thing and you turn away and just go bye. Recently I transferred Pastor Kakra Prophet to Accra, Said come to I cry. On the Sunday that he said bye, bye. He stood and he said he broke down, started crying, cried in the church. Hey, yeah, you cry, you see, But he sees he's part of the color. I said take a living sacrifice that never ends. Call the absent. OK. Now this one, this one. I need this one too. So. But you've came for this, this, this. I need this one too. This old age sacrifice. It doesn't go away until we meet him. Even Peter and Craw, after serving God, serving God, serving God, the end crowd, the dying, the way you die, the way you glorify God, is to die in a particular way. It's like you've done that. Even the last five minutes of your life is some other complex thing that has come. Will we ever be free from the sacrifice and the pain? No, we will not, you see. But that's when we get to heaven. Everybody, bring your hand. Bring your hand. Uh huh. I want to bring your hand. And your hand is smooth. You say they're slapping. They're foolish, Christian, he said. You are, you are prospering. Look, look, you must be ready to give up, even if God doesn't want it. That's the thing. Because I, I sometimes I see people God that one day I call some, I call somebody. I said, I want you to come and work in the ministry. He immediately answers, no, not now. This, this. I said, look, you see, your attitude is very bad because what I'm even talking about is not now, No, not us. Why? Why is it immediately not now? Today she's working happily in the ministry. I don't want to say her math. For since in the wisdom of the God of the world, the world did not know God, God was well pleased that through the foolishness of the message preached to save those who believe. Now indeed Jews asked for signs, Greeks search for wisdom, but we preach Christ crucified to Jews, a stumbling block to Gentiles foolishness. Now listen verse 22 signs wisdom. Now God is going to nullify all your signs, going to make no sense of it, and all your wisdom is going to be in the cross. Amen. Verse 24 But to those who are called, how many are called Christ, The power of God and the wisdom of God, Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men. Listen, God has decided to put His wisdom and his power in the cross. Yeah, I tell you, some people may look at me and feel that I'm a wise man. No, the wisdom is in the cross. They have that one decision to serve God. That's all the wisdom that there is. Everything else is just grace. The wisdom is the cross. It's the it's Do you want to be wise? Do you want to be wise? Do you want to have power? Christ is the wisdom and the power. Christ crucified is the power and the wisdom. How many things you need some power in your life and some wisdom in your life? Yes. Some power and some wisdom. Some what power and some wisdom. Yeah. It's found in giving up things. It's found in sacrificing Ah, shamakada luzum saradell E ma shandala babandala babandala babanda. You know, it's a story that I find difficult to tell because I didn't know how to say the story. But you know, I remember one person, you know, at a point, a person like the person came along and person sowed a seed, living somewhere for years. By the time the person left, the person had nothing at the seed that the person sowed. I always remember that seed. I remember that seed because of where and when. And it was similar situation like this. But I tell you later on, I was looking at the person that by real. I said to the person, you know, do you know that perhaps for all the years that you ever lived in that place where you were living in that country, perhaps the wisest money that you ever spent was that particular seed that you sowed then apart from everything else? Because at the end of the day, you were left with zero. And at the end of the day, the one who is employing you today is myself. It was that seed that even made me notice the person. It made me notice the person. The person was very unusual so and I knew the person was not working. So I noticed the person is that today where the person lives, eats, drinks, works, drives, everything. The only valuable things. God shows that even what seems foolishness is the only wisdom of the person. That was the only wise step of the person, but everything else came up to 0. When I say that, I mean 0.00 years of suffering are equal to 0. Where you live, where you drink, where you drive, how you eat, what you do travel, you work, everything come from just one little sacrifice. Well, God has chosen to make sacrifice a very wise thing. From today, sacrifice is one of the wisest things in the world. From today's, sacrifice is the most powerful thing you can do for yourself. Yeah. From today, sacrifice is powerful. It's always been powerful in the Bible, that is powerful. But he says that it is to us. It is the power and the wisdom. So if you want power in the church, that's power. Power is coming through sacrifice. That's why we must rise. Look, all of us in in the UK, we must rise up. We must fill Poland, Czechoslovakia, Ukraine, this anywhere. Don't sit here. It may look foolish, but what are you going to do there? What does? This power is coming. Power is about to enter. Wisdom is coming to fill you. And wisdom, the wisdom of of life and the pain, the sacrifice. That's the wisdom and the power. Oh, yeah. Don't run away from it. See that brother makes weakness. The power is rather coming. Get up and go. Get up and go, Get up and go. It's bringing power, I'm telling you. And then sit there and say no, that's not. That's weakness. That's foolishness. Your strength is coming. I say your strength is coming. Your strength is coming. I say your strength is coming. Got to show you what is wise. Got to show you this. A wise move. Got to show you this. A good move. Got to show you this. A clever move. Got to show you this. A powerful move. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. It's a powerful move. Jeez, you are wise. You are wise, liar. You are wise liar. I said you are wise liar. It's a powerful move. This your wisest move so far. I said this your wisest. She like that little girl, she sowed that seed. It was the wisest move that she had ever made. That was the only thing made. A seed. It's amazing. Of all the things that person did, that's the seed. Wow. It's very powerful. So is it. It has it. This is it. This First Corinthian. This chapter explains the beauty and the wisdom of the cross. God has not that. It's not that it is beautiful or it is wisdom. It is wisdom. Oh, it's not really beautiful. It's not really wise. It's not. God has chosen to make it a wise thing. He's chosen that. OK, from now, anybody who steps here will be wise, and anybody said that will have power. There's something that He has chosen, but it's not that. That's what it is natural naturally. It is not that naturally, it is idiocy, naturally. It is naturally folly, naturally it is it is lunacy, naturally. That's why somebody wrote a book. Lord, Liar, Liar, Lord or lunatic. That Jesus was either a liar or a lunatic or he was the Lord, because what he did was lunacy. Just decide to die and go and die. I mean, who does that? People are on death row and they're appealing. Appealing. Appealing, appealing for years. You are not appealing, but you are coming. Say prosecute. When they ask you say no, no, no further answers. You just not that. No further questions, No further answers. Pilot, you do whatever you have to do. No further answers. Get on with what you are doing. Get to the job. You kill me. I'm going so God has chosen is it? This is what it's a choice. He's picked something said this thing will from now be wisdom, because the foolishness of God is wiser than men and the weakness of God is stronger than men. For consider your calling that there were not many wise according to the flesh. So according to the flesh is not wisdom, not many mighty, not many noble notice, notice. But God has chosen. It's a choice. God has said he took a decision in heaven and said this thing from now will be wisdom, and he will point men to it, and those who accept it will be wise, and those who accept it will be powerful. God has chosen the foolish things of the world to shame the wise. God has chosen the weak things of the world, weak to shame the things that are strong. So he's chosen something foolish and something weak, and then #28 the base things. What does yours say? Base. Also King James base, base things of the world and then the despised God has chosen it, Washamalu, he's chosen a place that is despised to make you a wise man. When you step in the place, that is because you see when you say why do you live so I live in a Guyana. When you say I live in London, it sounds powerful. So I've been living in London for the last whatever years. So I actually travel for that when I'm travel from London to, you know, it sounds, it sounds the way you say I live in a, that one, that one, number two, wow, where is that? Where's that, Where's that? It's after #1 it's #2. Everybody's cross is different. I said everybody's cross. Everybody's cross about is a choice God has made, is going to make. Cross powerful is something that is despised. So anytime he says God sending you towards something there is despised. Go for it, go for it, go for it. Amen. Are you there, are you there? I feel great life in me as I'm sharing about what I'm sharing so that no man may boast before God, but by his doing you are in Christ who became to us wisdom from God, wisdom, righteousness, sanctification, redemption. All these things are in the cross. All these wild things, redemption. You are just suddenly become right bad person like you become righteous just by just somebody like somebody like me, like me. So you, righteousness, redemption, you are redeemed, righteous, sanctified, all these by just one step of following something that is despised and weak. So as we as the church is running away from, they are running away from wisdom, running away from righteousness, running away from sanctification, you'll be sanctified, a dirty person. You know yourself. You need sanctification. Seriously. Just to think that I was so bad that you knew all about my past, but that didn't make you any difference. You said you could fix all of that. I got. To please do not go out now, do not go out. I've not finished. Do not go out. Feel so good to be understood. Do you know what I mean? Sometimes it crosses me to tremble, Sometimes it crosses me to shed some tears, Sometimes it crosses me to tremble. But I think that somebody, somebody like you loves somebody like you. Just to think somebody somebody like you loves somebody like the whole world. Sometimes it crosses me to shed some tears. Sometimes it causes kids to tremble. And I think that somebody, somebody like you loves somebody like me. Just to think somebody somebody like me will love somebody like me. I was a perfect example. Come on now, I'm. Living a life in no land, a life that was broken, chartered pieces that you put together again. Yes, when I'm down, when I'm villains, your it's when your love is going to last. You said your love isn't just that emotion. It's just a matter of fact. Oh, sometimes it causes me to trap more. Sometimes it causes me to shed some tea. Sometimes it causes me to trap more. I think that somebody somebody like you loves like me. Something somebody somebody like you love somebody like you. Sometimes it causes me to trim. Sometimes it causes me to shed top teeth. Sometimes it causes me to trim Somebody like you like me. Don't think of somebody somebody like me love somebody like me. Sometimes it causes me to travel. Sometimes it causes me to shed some tea. Sometimes it causes me to travel. Come on, give a lot of clubs. I can't imagine our king will live strong to die for me on the cross all alone. He didn't condemn me, I put me down. He just loved me to my life around. Sometimes it causes spin and tremble. Sometimes it causes. Does it cause you to jumble? I think it's somebody, somebody like loves Spotlight. Just to think it's somebody, somebody like love somebody like, oh, sometimes it causes me to ram. Oh, sometimes it causes me to share some teeth, sometimes it causes me to travel while I think of somebody somebody like you but love somebody like me. Just to think that somebody, somebody like you will love somebody like. You sleep all the lost eyes. Sometimes. It causes me to travel, sometimes it causes me to shed their teeth, sometimes it causes in temple. I think that somebody like you loves spotlight. Just to think somebody like you love somebody. Like you. All right, All right, all right, All right. Sit down. We are just ending this session. When I end, then you go and we, we OK, We all feel like we, we that we are all controlling ourselves. All right, all right, all right, all right. Now look, we are the end of the at the end of the chapter. Righteousness, sanctification, redemption, wisdom, wisdom. That's Christ, That's the cross. It's the choice. Look, it's not that it's wise, like he's chosen that this thing will be wise. Anybody who takes this line will be wise. Anybody who takes this time will be powerful. Anybody who takes this time will be redeemed. Anybody take this. So that's why, Christian, we are so bad. But taking the cross and taking Christ makes us redeem equally. Fornicators, liars, thieves. It's true. Now the difference between Christianity and every other religion is the cross and the blood. And that is why Christianity must not be replaced with teachings of money and motivation and success and all that. It can't replace this power. Being clever 7 steps to this 20 steps for that reasons for this steps to that cannot replace this power, the power of salvation through the cross of Jesus Christ and after you have received salvation, the powers for your life, wisdom for your life health for your life, no mercy for your life. Every other good thing for your life comes through the same cross. The more of the cross you take the more of things that you never imagined could come. It's it's fantastic. I thought that now we got what like somebody said, ah, when we first we didn't know that you preached such messages. I've ever preached such messages. You are shocked. I mean, shocked is really the word is shocked. Yeah. I thought that I would have fewer people to support me and to help that rather have more. I have more people helping than before. I'm giving more. It's it's just amazing. But God has chosen that. That will be wisdom. That's you see from now, clear this way from now, this road is wisdom. So when you walk here and then or even though that's the way out, this one will be as soon as you get to this curtain, somehow it will open and you'll go through. So it's like he has chosen this road, even though it doesn't make the matter. If you want to go out, you go here. You know, they sign the exit, escape, and then everything is there. But he has said, OK, from now, I've laid a red carpet here. Those who walk on this road, that's it. It's just amazing. So those who have chosen it are experiencing it. That's why she didn't run away from it. She didn't run away from it. Embrace it. Should I embrace it? It's the wisdom of God. It's a choice by God. It's his decision that sacrifice will be powerful and sacrifice will be wisdom and sacrifice will bring power. Sacrifice will bring help. It's a choice decision, divine decision by God. It's just amazing. But it's his choice. And that's why the more like I was saying, you know, obviously how do I have power I lay hands on, but the person who falls down 1m just from here to here just like that and I preach and somebody moves from Nottingham to Mali, calculate the distance about 6000 or 7000 miles and you fall down 1 foot 1m. Which one is longer, which power is greater, and which power is greater? That can fly somebody, approach the person from the person's everything, houses and cars and lands and everything, and then move you to Mali. Is it not the power? I think about it, Cross is power. There's so much power in the cross. That is why I said, listen, why is she saying that? Give me the words on that or the second verse of the cross. Do you have it? Sing the second verse? Yes. Wondrous attraction. Sing it. You have it on the screen. I asked you for a screen. Put it on. So the spice by the world. Has a. One let me sing. It has a wondrous attraction for me. You see it has a wondrous attraction. You understand the verse a bit better now. It has a wondrous attraction. So despised by the world. Has a wondrous attraction for me. You become attracted to the cross, so despised by the world. Sing the next line for the dear. Lamb of God. For the dear Lamb of God. Because for the dear Lamb of God left his glory above to bear it. There must be something powerful and something special for the dear Lamb of God to leave his glory above to come to this earth to bear the cross. Sing it again. Stuff at the top. So despised by the world has a wondrous I'm attracted to the cross, I said. I'm attracted to the cross of Jesus Christ, for the delam of God left his glory above to Paris. Come on. That's why I said I'll cherish, I'll cherish, I'll cherish the cross. Come on. That's why this song, it's not like some of the songs that they are singing song, song something Jesus, you can't hear what they are saying. This song cannot die. This song cannot die, it cannot die so despised by the world has a wondrous attraction like a like an afflicting or fly going towards the light out. I find myself heading towards that thing. It's an attraction. It's an attraction, a wondrous attraction, this marvelous, so people cannot understand it. What are you? Are you out of your mindset? There is a wondrous because for my saviour to come from heaven above and to just to bear that cross. You see the, the, the chorus, we've sang it so much that we don't really understand. So I'll cherish the old, I'll cherish the old ragged cross. This is sort of it become like some cliche, some saying, but I cherish it till my trophies are later. I'll cling to it. I'll cling to the cross. I'll not leave sacrifice, whether it's a big or a smoke or wooden shoulder power without trying any type of cross that has been, I'll hold my own. If you have been sent to Paris and somebody has been sent to Mali, you hold yours. The Mali one also hold Hess or Hiss. Everybody holds yours. Very well. Whatever is this? Sing the third verse. The third verse. I will never be true. Who? Is the one controlling the thing. You call me someday to my home far away. Where is glory forever? Sing it again, Sing it again from the top. I will ever be true. I will back. I will gladly back. I'll hold it, then he will call me someday. Someday to my home. I'll cherish it. I'll. Cherish it, I'll cherish it. I will cling to the old rocket cross and I'll exchange it someday. Come on now, I'll exchange it. Exchange. When? When John got to heaven, he exchanged his cross. He he lived to be 100 years and he lived. When all of them were dead, he lived. His cross was different. It was exiled on the island. We've seen the visions right in them. You know, that was his word. Is different. Different La This one was different. LA Different. Oh, it's marvelous. What's the Ted man? Show it. Show it up on the screen. First screen man. Yeah. Is that the next man? Yeah, let's see this one in the old Rugged. In the old rugged rugs stained with blood, so did a. Wondrous beauty. A wonderous beauty, I. See. Wow, wow. OK, we need a new operator. What was? What was on that? Old rugs she's a supper and die to pardon and stand divine. Sing that one again. Sing that one on the top, Grace. Just sing it. Sing it again. You sing. In the old rugged cross, staying with love, stay with blood, so divine, and wonder us beauty eyes. What was on that old cross? Jesus suffered and I to pardon that time to party. Sing the second verse again. For the old rugged Cross so despised. Has a wondrous. Has a wondrous attraction for me. For the dear Lamb of God, for. The dear Lamb of God left his glory to bear it too dark. Come on out, come on out, come on out. My trophies. Sit down. Wow. I tell you, I tell you there's nothing like the cross. Billy Graham preached one day and he said it wasn't, it wasn't good. He was not happy. And he went to pray and the Lord told him, I think a lady or somebody wrote to him and said when you preached, people were not saved at this time and it's because you didn't preach about the cross. And he wrote in his biography, he said from that time he decided he will never shift from the cross. The message of the club, Billy Graham. Yeah, I read it. I said, wow. And somebody wrote, you say you today when you preach, it was not powerful. People were not saved, he said. From that time, you'll even wonder how Billy Graham, why Billy Graham has been so powerful all these years. One message, salvation is found in the cross of Jesus Christ through the blood of Jesus. It can't change this, this right? This song is still sung. Many of the songs that have been composed just discarded. It's the center uncle and theme of the cross. May God encourage you to hold it. Is that a part of holding, Clinging or cling? Don't leave it, hold it. Take it when they bring yours. Don't step back in. What is this? Where is his? What about her? Don't think of yourself as a group. It's not a group. We are not a group. So everybody here is an individual. There's nothing group about this. It's you and one. One to one. It's one person. There's no group. Cross. Three of us. Five of us are holding this cross. Pick up your cross. Hallelujah Father, thank you for your great blessing of the cross this morning. We love you. Thank you in Jesus name, Amen. First Corinthians chapter 2, verse one it says and when I came to you, I did not come with superiority of speech or of wisdom, for I determined to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ and him crucified. This is the only thing I was interested in, Jesus Christ and Jesus Christ being crucified. This was the main thing and the only thing I wanted to discuss or to know or to have. I may understand this verse better. What a wondrous attraction it holds for me. The cross. Hallelujah. Amen. There are two verses I'm going to read. This is 1 and another one which you've read before, but it will have a different meaning again, because this one has a different means. That I wanted to know about the cross, Jesus Christ and Him crucified. I was with you in weakness and in fear and in much trembling and my preaching were not in persuasive words of wisdom. No, no, no, no, but in demonstration of the Spirit and our power so that your faith would not rest in the wisdom of men that on the power of God seen all these verses you haven't you yet. We do speak wisdom among those who are mature a wisdom, however. Listen. Oh, are you looking? We have wisdom, but it's not that your type. It's not your type of wisdom, however, among those who are mature a wisdom, however not of this age, nor are you with me in the six of the rulers of this age who are passing away versus Camila. He said that we speak God's wisdom in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which God predestined. This is the hidden wisdom that the cross and the sacrifice will will be wiser and greater and more powerful than any other method. Hidden. It's hidden. Really, really, really hidden. Predestined before the ages to our glory. Now the verse is Camilla verse 8, the wisdom which none of the rulers of this age has understood. For if, if this is it, if they had understood it, they would not have crucified a lot of glory. Hey, if they had understood it or known that this is the roads to everything, to power, to life, to salvation, to redemption, to security, to peace, to love, If they had no, they would never have come to that because that was exactly where they wanted them to go. And that's exactly what they did. Is it not an amazing how many I've read this before but you've never seen and understood the power that is so clear now? That's why I said when I came to you, I just wanted to have one discussion. Christ another, Christ and his teachings, Christ and his love, Christ, Christ and him crucified. That's the aspect I said, a wisdom which is so hidden that if the rulers of this world had known it, they would never, never, never, never, never. They played into his, God's hands. They played into his hands. And that is why when I stand and encourage you and say, look, my friend, give your life to God, Give your young days to God, your young days when you are beautiful, when you are handsome, when you are strong, when you are intelligent, when you can understand the computer, when you can learn new things, when the bank wants you, when the business world wants you, that's give it, give it to God. Give your juiciness to God. But there will be a time you'll not be so juicy. There will be a time you'll not be so voluptuous. There will be a time you will not be so clever. You'll not be so fast, you'll not be so strong. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Even I'm preaching at the camp now. You know, I, I feel more tired than I used to feel. Yeah. And if it's still strong, that can come from a flight with all these guys. And then we start from the mall. As soon as we arrive from the airport, straight here with my luggage. Then I come and I stand and we start till the evening. Do you see? Even though I see there will be a time that I cannot do that LA. I said there will be a time I cannot do that LA and you too, there will be a time you cannot start a church LA. I remember one guy who went to start a church and he was, he was older, but he was a pastor of the church already that was already there. And he had a church in the country. But something happened and he had to leave the church and he left, you know, and when he left, he decided to go and start a church. So he went to start a church not even too far from where he was. I tell you, it was not easy. One day, after some years after he had passed the church, I decided to pass by the place where the church was. It was a little a corridor like this, very small corridor like that. He was just from about here. I said he's not a church 'cause you have to go out witnessing. Yeah. Then after some years, again I met him. I saw him preaching somewhere saying something. He said, As for me, I'm not a pastor and he said he was something else. I've forgotten what he was because you see, it wasn't easy to start a church line. And I see more as the age at which he was starting things, because you sort of need a bit of youthfulness to do certain things, a certain strength, cleverness, determination. When I cast my mind back when I used to carry drums from my room in R1 O four and all from Pastor Hamish's room all the way to the across was nothing fasting. There's some type of fasting that I I, I don't do anymore. One time I fasted and then I just got sick after the fasting. So I said, why Allah, what do you think? There is a time that you cannot. So it's it's some of the things you have to do later on. You cannot do them. You get tired of things, you get tired of people, you get tired of issues. When I see married, married couples quarreling, this one time I was passing, I saw some, you know, I think Bishop Saki was talking to them. Something, something, some husband was there. What was there? So my husband is chasing somebody when I pass and they asked. So then he just called me. I was going. I said why is he calling me? Why is he calling me? So I came back. What is it? You know this our people say there's this. So when he told me everything I told divorce, OK, just divorce, divorce, I'll leave him. So let me free. If he's so bad he's chasing, leave him. I will leave him. La clinging, I cling to the old ragged brother. So wondrous attraction. Hey, I love this scripture. I've never understood it like this one. Wisdom which the none of the rulers of this age had understood. If they had, or if they had understood it, they would not have crucified the Lord of Glory. Amen. Hallelujah, just as it is written things which I have not seen and ear has not heard, which have not entered into the heart of the man all that God has prepared for those who love him. You see, God's love for you comes to you through the cross. The cross is the channel of God's provision for you. So you must embrace it. You must embrace the cross. Embrace the loss, embrace reducing, embrace demotion, embrace it. Embrace poverty, embrace reducing of your status. Embrace whatever God is bringing to you. Embrace it. Let it have a wondrous attraction. Yeah, don't cling to the old money, but cling to the cross. Through that cross, the things that God has prepared for you. I does not know, I has not seen it. He has not heard it. What God has prepared for those who love him. But it will come. I mean, through the cross. This is the way. This is the channel for to ask God reveal them through the Spirit, for the Spirit searches all things. Who among men knows the thoughts of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? Even so, the thoughts of God no one knows except the Spirit of God. Now we have received not the Spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we may know the things freely given to us by God, which things we also speak, not in words taught by human wisdom, but in those taught by the Spirit. Notice verse 14, another classic verse you know, but you haven't seen it this way says, but a natural man does not accept the things of the Spirit of God and does not accept it, for they are what foolishness unto him, and he cannot understand them because they are spiritually appraised. There is no natural explanation, but he who is spiritual appraises all things, yet he himself is appraised by no man. For who has known the mind of the law that he was attracting? But we have the mind of Christ. Amen.
