12. Success Keys For The Volante Missionary

Welcome to track #12 of the Volante. How many want to be successful in your work as a lay pastor? And I'm going to show you how to be a successful lay missionary. Amen. Success keys. All right, And I'm giving you 4 sections of keys. So section #1 under section #1 success key #1 focus on Satan, your principal enemy. Focus on Satan, your principal enemy. Amen. Now it is when you focus on Satan as your principal enemy that you be more spiritual. Amen. Satan does not bow because of your jumping. Amen. Those who are dancing in frontier, Satan does not bow because of your dancing. There's nothing wrong with the dancing. We we all like it. We look at you enviously, wishing that we could move around the way you do, especially those who do the dance like that and don't know how you decide when to 10 We wish we could do it. Are you listening? But Satan knows that once he is left out and he is not understood to be the enemy, he's so happy. Are you listening to me? He's so happy about it. So when you focus on Satan being your principal enemy, you rise up and become spiritual. Hallelujah. Are you there? Are you tired? You sure, very sure. All right, glory to God, put your hand on your neighbors that you guys are doing a great job. Amen. All right, so focus on the devil now, the the Sun Tu. Have you how many? I've heard of Sun Tu, The Art of war, famous for the art of war. He has, you know, one of his first principles is know your enemy and know yourself. So your enemy is 1. The devil. Your enemy is a spirit. Focus on Satan as your principal enemy. Not focus on Satan, but focus on Satan as the enemy. Focus on Satan as your principal enemy. If you think your enemy is your husband, you're going to struggle for a long time. If you think your enemy is your pastor, you're going to struggle for a long time. If you think your enemy is the white man, the black man, the Blue Man, or the Green Man, you're going to struggle for a long time. But once you can find that this is really my enemy, it helps you to love human beings whom God tells you to love. Amen. It helps you to love people God tells you to love because you know that you are focusing on what is behind it, what is behind it, what is behind it, what is behind it. Amen. One day I was having a conflict with somebody. And the conflict was heading to a climactic conclusion. Climactic conclusion. And then one night I had a clear vision, one of the clearest visions of Satan. Clearest I've ever had. I've seen the devil I've fought 4 times and this is 1 of this was one of the clearest when I had that vision of the devil. Can you believe that vision was given to me? I mean, now that I even look back, it ended the conflict on that very day, the conflict that was heading to a cataclysmic conclusion. As soon as in the vision I saw the enemy, I was able to shift my attention immediately to the real enemy. Because see, the principle of war is no your enemy. Who are you really fighting? You see? And that helps you to have love. I have now in my heart more love for my pastors. I have so much love for rebellious people. Even it's true. I In fact, I have so much love for people sometimes who hurt me that my love can confuse people who are watching. But the But the reason is because I see the main enemy. Recently we had one pastor living trying to spoil the church, spoiling some of our churches. So I have so much love for him and his wife, even pity and and that that is possible because I know, you see, I know I'm here for a while. I know I'm supposed to do something. I know that there will be people that will fall away. I know there are people who will be deceived. It's only as if you were a father and see your child behaving in a setting where you only feel you know that one day your child will realize I have done the wrong thing, but it may be too late. You see, I have a sister. She left the house when she was a young lady. She left home. Nobody knew where she was. My father did not know where she was. My mother did not know where she was. No one knew where she was. She just just left home. Many, many years later, she reconciled with my father and came home, but it was too late for her to finish going to school and to do all the things that she needed to do. And if you are a parent, you know that the person has the person is going to pay the price his whole life. He will never be happy and you will not even hate your own child. It's true. It's what I've seen. That's why I tell you that I have a lot of love in my heart for all these people, all these things. But it's only possible because I'm focusing on who is actually the real end. That's what that's as in Preacher. You can see I keep on explaining. Look, it is our whole ministry. It's so important. If you take away the Volante, you, we have nothing left. We all descend into Absolute. There's nothing to do even. Yeah, we will. We will be left with nothing in this whole church. I know it. You won't have anything to do because you'll be wiped out and disqualified is what has allowed us to be here up till now. Are you there? So I need you to focus. One day, Yongicho said he was having a big quarrel with his wife and suddenly he had a shrieking noise in the house and something moved out of the house. Huh. It went out like that and the problem also went away. That's what I'm explaining to you, that you will begin to have compassion knowing that this thing is being caused by something. So, dear friend, I want to encourage you focus on Satan as your principal enemy. I'm not your enemy. Your main enemy is a spirit #2 Recognize that your enemy is a spirit. Recognize that your enemy is a spirit if you want to be successful as a lay minister and this is a spirit and can be tackled only spiritually. Amen. Your enemy is a spirit and can be tackled spiritually. If I come and I hate this keyboard with my hand, I'm not attacking the enemy. I can kill an Ant or, but not the real enemy. So when you see pastors running around, running around, not praying, not attacking the issue, spiritual, you say your church is not brewing, you say things are not working, things are whatever and you are not attacking the problem, the real enemy. And attacking the thing, which is a spirit is not a physical thing. Yongicho says he cannot see why pastors go run around doing whatever. I said I'd rather sit in my room and make the church grow from the room. I'd rather sit in my room and make the checkpoint call check. He said. We were we were sitting at the at the dinner table and he was sitting across from me and I was talking with him a few days ago and he said, I don't want to sound arrogant. This is what he said. I don't want to sound arrogant. I didn't even know whether I was hearing what he was saying, He said I don't want to sound arrogant, but he said I cannot understand why a pastor would not have a growing church. Yeah, I can't. I can't understand. The church has grown from inside, he said. I sit in my room and call the people and pray whilst we are running around. Is it if we look at us, do we pray? We don't pray much. Yeah, We run around a lot. Do this, do this, organize, get ACD, play some worship song, try to do whatever that is, like the real work. And you see, those of you who are coming out, the younger pastors, you are going to do even better than us. You know why? Because you are going to do #1 what does #1 say. You're going to focus as your number one enemy. It will help you to love people no matter what. You see. What is this? And then #2 you're going to do #2 you're going to recognize that your enemy is a spirit. It's not healed by injections. It's not overcome by anything physical. So if primarily you, all you, your primarily physical activities as a pastor, you are primarily a failure. If primarily all activities are physical, then you are primarily a failure. Yeah, change your style. It's time to change your style, I said. It's time to change your style #3 you must fight your enemy spiritually. You must fight your enemy spiritually, and you must sacrifice physical things in order to do that. You must sacrifice physical activities in order to fight your enemy spiritually. You must, You must fight your enemy spiritually and sacrifice physical activities to fight your enemy spiritually. This is where the difference is going to be in the pastors that are coming up because those of us who are ahead, we are more physically fighting than spiritually fighting. True or not true, true or not true. And, and it has also even become a pattern and a lifestyle true. That's how our lives are. Our lives are fighting the enemy physically more than attacking it spiritually. What are some of the spiritual activities that you you have to sacrifice #1 physical activities that you must sacrifice #1 preaching. No preaching. You are not bad people. You are not bad people preaching. Yeah. If pastors are going to be successful in attacking your enemies spiritually, you have to learn to sacrifice physical activities that pastors do. You see, if I want to pray here and today, I have to sacrifice preaching to pray because primarily I'm preaching all the time since I landed till I leave, I'll be preaching, talking, meeting, preaching, physical meetings, activities. So if I want to do something in another way in my life for me, I will not be sacrificing television. I don't watch my television. I'll be sacrificing something good like preaching, something good like meetings. Yeah. If it is Sunday, even that you have to sacrifice so that you pray on Sunday from 8:00 in the morning till 8:00 in the evening, you may do more than coming to church 4 * a month. It's true. Yeah, but you don't pray. Yeah, I'm so busy meeting, doing this, doing that. Look, I'm just telling you something. When I left Korea, they had what you call Prayer Mountain. And the pastor who preached, preached about praying 3 hours. He preached about waking up at 3:00 AM. You cannot wake up at 3:00 AM when you sleep late. None of us can wake up at 3:00 AM when we sleep at 2:00 AM. When we sleep at 1:00 AM. You can never wake up at 3:00 AM. You wake up six hours later. So current pastor, I'm preaching to the pastors that I'm also telling the new people, all the new up and coming volante pastors are going to have to learn how to sleep early. In Lighthouse, you see that a pastor sleeps early, it's going to become a new pattern. Ah, you're always sleeping. They will say you're always sleeping. So yeah, because if you don't sleep early, you cannot wake up. And if you don't pray in the night, you cannot pray regularly. You have to pray when everybody is asleep. The reason you don't pray is because you try to pray when everybody is asleep, when everybody is awake, and when people are awake and you are praying, so many things make you stop praying. You super spiritual sounding. It's people listening to what you are doing. It looks even odd. It looks odd, huh? You look so odd when you are trying to pray at a certain point in time. Glory to God. So physical activities, preaching, meetings, television, if you like, useless socializing, useless socializing, anything that makes you stay awake late so you can write it, Anything that makes you stay awake late. Facebook texts, WhatsApp, Internet surfing, computers. Wow, is it not something real? That's why your churches are small, because your spiritual activities are small. Just accept it. I have had occasion to change pastors. I change the pastor from this one to another, and the church changes when the pastor changes, just like a country changes when the president changes. Yeah, so stop blaming whatever. There are people just like you. They are having big churches at the same place where you are. You just don't have something spiritual that you need. That's what it is. And if you look at your life really, really, you know, pastors whose churches will pray at home a lot, they have a certain way of living. Person prays personally. You see the person prays. So the words that are coming from the person, they draw people. They draw people, Amen. They draw people. They have an effect. Even me, you know, I, I don't, you see, when I'm, when I'm preaching, I, I can't tell whether what I'm preaching is anointed. I can't tell because sometimes I preach and I don't feel that I've preached well. And it seems to have a great impact, you see. But the way I began to find out the reason why we made the makanare was I found out almost accidentally that that was the strongest anointing in all my preaching was in the I found it from the effect that it had on people. That's when I realized that they're stronger because as I'm preaching at the camp, the only sensation I feel is tiredness. The sensation that I feel is tiredness, yes, and, and sometimes messages which seem to affect people and I'm blessed. I remember when I was preaching, feeling a lot of tension. When I was going through some of the points, I was going through different things and so on. I felt a lot of tension. That's the only thing I remember not doing that is having a very wild effect. You see people say, oh, even for example, you know, when I preach, what is your life? You know, it was a it was a camp. I did not enjoy preaching Acts. It's true. Yeah. When I met somebody said that I lost interest in everything from that camp except to work for God. I was surprised. I remember preaching like I'm standing. I don't know whether it was here. It was right here. And I remember yawning when I was preaching. If I yawning and preach means I bought. Can you imagine preaching? I actually bought. But almost every time I can show you one person whose life changed totally. I don't even know when when I'm prophesying, I don't even know. I've begun to be worried about when I say things. When I say that I become worried from experience because I I I've noticed some of the things that I'm even concerned about their prophecies. I've noticed it. But the sensation I feel is nothing just me, but concerned. The few months before Misses Saki died, I just stopped. Well, playing golf ball 6, I stopped. I talked to him. I said I just said something, something about her life. A few months later she was there when she died and I was crying overhead. The holy people said, but did I, I told you, did I not tell you? Did I not tell you? Yeah. So I've learnt to be worried when I even hear myself talking. So in fact, some people don't like it when I start talking a certain way. Recently I was having a meeting. What is he saying? He's always saying they should stop saying what he's saying. Wow. And I'm saying that the effect of the presence of God and the anointing is not something you can easily feel by how your stomach feels or whether you feel happy or tired or whatever. It's a spiritual thing, which has a spiritual effect. And it is you have to talk about how you feel, whether you bath, you having bath, what is it is a very spiritual, it's not a physical feeling. It's not even a feeling, is the power of it and the effect of it that can reveal to you that there is some anointing in it. So you may preach shouting, sweating, people clapping. Well, there's no power in it, nothing to make anything grow. You may speak gently and speak here. People are coming, people. Some passes are very boring. People just come to them. They just come. It's amazing. It is the anointing. I know several boring pastors when they preach, it's even boring. Their churches are big. People are coming. And me an intelligent. I can give myself some credit for being at least intelligent to a certain extent. When I listen to them preach, I say this is not a good communication. It's not a good delivery, not a good way of preaching the student. The churches are big people are can be just come and sit. Hey, it's anointing. That's why I would say to you, that's why young people say I would rather why the pasta going around talking. I would sit in my room and make the church grow from my room. When he said that, he sounded almost like a wizard or some kind of person doing. Have you watched, have you read this book Tintin, Prisoners of the Sun? If you if you read it, you can read it again. Prisoners of the Sun. There was some magician somewhere and the guy had a needle. When he pressed the needle, then the guy would would start screaming over there. Then he would put a needle here. Then he would scream over there. Hey, it's like remote. It's in their room, making the thing happen over there, calling for the people. All of you pastors, believe you me. You know you have to. You must fight your enemies spiritually, spiritually. All of you can have big Tech. There's none of you here who should not have less than 100 people sitting down on Sunday when you preach 100 people, followers, disciples of you, they are listening to you speak to them. Yeah, all of you. Not less than 100. And you must have a. And you see, take the book transform. Take the book Church Growth and become spiritual. You see those books become important to you when you are becoming spiritual. You look at it not for an exam, not for an exam, but as a spiritual something that is is fitting you and you are fighting in the spirit. It's not you don't do those things. When you start doing, you see the whole ministry will change. You cannot easily finish reading a spiritual book. Spiritual books don't finish. Spiritual books don't get finished. Why do you think the Bible is not finished yet? When is it going to finish? They are new every morning. New every morning. Greatest thy faithfulness, oh Lord, Great is thy faithful man. This is one of the things to do with God. We feel we finish with him. It has to do with spiritual. There are a lot of pastors who feel they finish with me. So I we know what Bishop has. We wrote his book. He's got this, he's got this, he's got this. You feel you've finished. But that is not how a spiritual thing is. It's new. Every month there's something new, you may think and you see when you when you know in your spirit that it's new every morning, it can be the same, but it's the same old Bible. Coming to think of it, every camp is from the same book, which is the Bible. Every camp is from the same book. Every camp is from the same book, the Bible. Every ceremony is from the same book, the Bible. Everything we do is from the same book. Every book is from the same book. It cannot get finished. A pastor, a man of God was telling me, he said I was reading your book Loyalty and Disloyalty, and I didn't want the book to finish. It was paining him as the book was finished. He said no, I don't want it, but he didn't finish. He hasn't finished it at all. And this is a pastor who does not understand loyalty and disloyalty because in his mind he thought the book was getting finished and a couple of years later, as he was, he was enjoying the book. First of all, he never read the book. He despised it. Later when he had some crisis in his church with his assistant pastors and he had to come and beg his assistant pastors for some problems, came up with them. He was so bored with them, you know. Then he started reading the book and he learnt a whole lot of things. But a few years later, he, he manifested clearly that he does not understand the things in the book because he actually never finished. He had read it as an introduction. That's true. You see, I wish I could mention names and just explain to you what I'm talking about. I, you know, I have to speak this mystical protocol would not find protocol would not allow me to mention. But if I could just mention that, you will understand what I'm saying exactly. First of all, the person despises it. Second of all, the person reads it. He's excited by it, and at the last page he thinks he's finished with it, but it shows greatly a few years later. He doesn't understand the first thing about what is in that book based on his behavior. No, not even a test of like, do he doing something against him? But it's like, you see, the person doesn't have an understanding of all the things that I am. Many persons don't understand loyalty and disloyalty. There's only even when you look at me, you don't understand my ministry. My ministry is not based on frightening people about disloyalty. Are you here because you are afraid of like a case or afraid of whatever? And people can they don't understand why do you like, why do you like this man? Why do you treat him like a God? Why do you Whatever they feel that they feel there's something else. People stand by. They want to say hello, they want to. I remember while I went to Lagong this to university to preach, after I was standing by my car, all these young people were around me talking. And I say, OK, you have to go, bye bye. Then they all say bye, bye. They will be standing there looking at me, bye, bye. And they look, I say go, everybody go, everybody go home. Very well. They all stand there. Bye, bye Bishop, bye, bye. And they will be there. They will not go. They stayed and stayed and stayed. I sank them more than 100 times. They were still there. Yeah. But somebody asked. So why are these people? Do you think they are there? Because they are afraid. Principle #16 you will die if you say this, if you speak against this. It's not like that. But you don't understand because you sit on fire. You just read something. You feel you finished it. It's not that you cannot finish the Bible. The spiritual book is not the book number. One of the books I'm reading currently, there are three books that I have that are like that Final quest, Call and the Torch and the Soul by Rejoyner. It's going like this all the time. It's going like this all the time. It's going like this all the time, always. I'm reading. I started reading, Yeah, recent, 2-3 years ago. I went to South Africa and I was with one pastor. I took the books out of my bag. What? Those days I was using physical books. I took it out of Baba and the pastor saw because he was with me when I bought the final question the first time. And he says, are you still reading this book? It's been 10 years. So I always travel with it. Those are my and I have it in my iPad. Are you still reading this book? Of course, it's the main book I'm still reading. It's my main book that I'm still reading and more. You see the but that's why I say that it's because you are not spiritual. If you are spiritual, you would like my book more and the same book realized you don't know anything about it. I know when people don't know anything about things. I know the unspirituality of pastors is evidence. The physical nature of pastors is evidence. You might as well just wear your panties and come to church the way you are spiritually, because in just in the spirit you are just wearing panties. Did you hear me? I said you might as well just wear your panties and come. You see a person like Prophet Khakra, He's a spiritual person. That's that's how I've known him. He will stay in his house, not go out. He's not he. He's not that so friendly type. One day I was in the university in Kumasi. When I finished preaching, I was talking. All the young people were around me. We were talking with them. We were laughing till late. So when finally we finished, I was going, I was staying in this house. We were going. He asked us what were you talking to the people about? What are you telling them? Just look at what are you saying to these people? I'm just wondering what are you? What are you saying? Yeah, he doesn't have anything. He's in the spirit, He's praying. People who have big judges, they pray, they are spiritual, they are not friendly or this or that. All those things are not really the reason you have. You have to sacrifice physical activities to do the fight spiritually. That's why I'm saying to you that I was in the midst of a cataclysmic climactic conflict and I had a vision of the devil. Clearly, even I can just remember, and it was a very frightening of in all my life, I think I've been frightened by a vision maybe only once or twice. When you get frightened, that was the end of it. When I saw, I knew, and it ended the conflict there because it shifted immediately. This is what we are fighting, not this. Amen. So from now, I want you to transform your pastoral ministry by fighting your enemies spiritually as soon as you become spiritual. The books that you've used for exams that you claim you've read, that you claim you finished, you see that you haven't started even the first page. Pastors are very funny to me sometimes. One day I had a camp and I preached, oh, only pastors. I told my secretary before that I will. I will show you what I'm going to do with these people. They think they know what I'm preaching. So I made her print my book in a, in a, in a, in a manual. I made her change it into sheets. So she changed it into the sheets and printed it in a manual. So I came to the camp with the manual like that, but it was the books. I just combined three books and put them together and I came and I changed the topic and I, I gave it another name and I said there's something, something. And I preached to the end of the camp. They was, wow, bishops are all, they were just, they were just, they said to write a book. And I, I, I, I planned it with my secretary. I said, look, I'll show you something. I preach and preach and preach for days. They said, wow, what a wonderful. Then after that I told them, I said this is the book. They were shocked. In fact, I was surprised that they were shocked. There were some people I thought they would, they would see through it. They never, nobody saw, not even one person saw. They were all sitting there after I consecrated some of them as bishops. Is it all fantastic? You think that you know, you don't know. You think that it's finished, that it's not finished. You haven't begun. And it's new everywhere. They are new every morning, new every what I'm sharing with you. You know, it is a pastor in Tanzania who shared it with me a few months ago. He, he, he said something I said, repeat what you said. Repeat what you said, he said, Bishop, He said, I think that people stop receiving from fathers because they feel that they have received whatever they can receive, but not knowing that you can never finish receiving something from your father spiritually. That's what he said. And then he said, then he coated this vest. They are new every morning. Yeah, they are new every morning. His messes are new every morning. When he said it struck me like a before I realized that when I meet many of my pastors, I feel like I've met people who feel that whatever they can receive from me, they have received it. They finish with me and they don't know even the beginning of what I am sharing. And when I go outside, like I meet pastors who mouths are wide open like that. Have you seen where the bird is feeding his baby? Birds are like that. The mouths are open like that. They keep putting things in. Wow. And he made me write. He doesn't know. He made me write one whole chapter in the book. When I went back, I called my secretary. I said I'm going to write a chapter. And I wrote a whole chapter in the book. That is book. And in that book, there are people who think they know what is in the book, but they don't know that I've written another chapter, put it in the book. Isn't it not fantastic? Isn't it not amazing? Yeah. So, friends, you must fight your enemy spiritually. You must sacrifice physical activities in order to fight your enemy spiritually. I'm telling you recently I was going to church and suddenly I just felt, no, I should, I should rather pray. The whole church was waiting for me. The whole church was waiting for me. As I approached the church, I called Bishop Saki and I said I'm not coming. I feel, I feel I should pray. And that night as I was praying, terrible things were happening but I didn't even know. But as I woke up true out, I was just praying. I believe that God heard prayers and delivered us from evil, Amen. You may never know limited and families with sons and relatives. I see you becoming a spiritual person. Amen. Don't think of sacrificing cigarette smoking or sacrificing drinking alcohol or going to pub. You are not that kind of person. You wouldn't have even come to the camp. You are not a smoker. You don't go to bars, you are not a drinker. You are a Christian. You go to church, so you have to sacrifice church activities and good things. I'm telling you, this is what we don't realize, that you are not a smoker, you're not a drinker. It's not that you are going to go and be doing that. It is good things you have to sacrifice in order to be prayerful. That's true. Some meetings, days, whatever activities going here, go visitation just to pray. Amen #4 This is Sun Tzu's art of war. Know your enemy #4 You must recognise that your enemy is very intelligent and has and fights you. You must know that your enemy is very intelligent and fights with schemes and plans which are not clear or obvious. The. Do you think what the devil is doing about you is clear? It's not clear. You have one pastor who lives the church, goes down the road, starts another church. Do you think that that is all the devil is trying to do? Then you are just born recently. That's not what he's trying to do. He's not trying to spoil one church and make 20 members go away from the church. And that's not what he's doing. That's not what he's doing. It's just part A. It's part A of something that he's doing. Anything the devil does he always remember this Part A or Part B of about 5 parts by the time he's finished, you understand it. And I will never approve of any pastor who lives, goes down the road. He does not have my blessing. You leave the church in what is the name of that town, Laurel, and go down the road. He does not have my neither does he have my blessing, my approval, nor my whatever. And that's why I will not welcome such a person, even at a camp like this, to give a misleading impression that I, I approve of you at all, at all, ish at all. We don't accept such things and I will not. And if, and I will even fight you, you will see another sign. Come to your church, come to your church, come to it. So what is wrong with you? God has called me, I'm also starting my ministry. As for lighters, you cannot leave is how they talk. So when you leave they will say things about you. Eight years later, by the time he finished, the next pastor left, did the same thing, another pastor. All these were being his ship and when he left his pastors. Who? What is wrong with the sound? When he left, the pastor pastors who had been his assistance were shocked. So how can you do that? Why is he doing that? They even disconnected from him. As the months went by and the years went by, all the pastors who had been under him did exactly the same thing and they all started churches in the same town, broke off. His immediate assistant, his also his name also began with AJ. He there he took a whole church. He planned and took away the whole church. 1 after the other. All of them followed this example and many of them, the churches discarded the members, the churches. We had people taking whole churches. You see, that thing was packed and he wanted my approval. He want me to come and lay hands. When he left the church, he named his son after me. I said, why you naming your son after me? You see all these facts you show that. It's like you are really flowing with me, or this is my father. This is modified. They are always, you see, But you have to always understand that the devil is an intelligent enemy and that anything that he is doing is part of a plan which has parts. Yes, it's part of a plan which has sections. The devil wants to spoil the church in America. It's not that he he wants to spoil the church. He wants to spoil above all, the lay ministry.
